Great place to donate plasma. Staff is super friendly. I have a few favorites (all of them) ?? Never had an issue while donating but I have a few suggestions to help keep you deferred. ?stay hydrated ?make sure you get plenty of protein in your diet ?make sure you get plenty of iron in your diet ?keep pumping your hand when the blood pressure cuff is tight These tips will help you get through the door and a quick and easy donation
Unfair Permanent Deferral Over Visible Piercings I was permanently deferred from donating plasma due to facial piercings I've had for many years?clearly visible and never concealed. Staff claimed I failed to disclose them, but I've worn them openly and had no new ones at the time. If this was a safety issue, it was never explained clearly, and no documentation or warning was ever given. What's worse, I was asked to leave the building in extreme heat without being offered water or any basic care?an act tha
Your address and zip will determine if you donate or not, not to mention they descriminate accordingly, an experience that was a waist of energy and time, CSL may compensate less they have a better more fluid experience.
I called here because I'm a single mom IN DIRE NEED OF HELP. Pattie at the front desk chose to be RUDE, DEMEANING, and CREATE HER OWN POLICIES THAT GO AGAINST THE COMPANIES WEBSITE PROTOCOLS. She made me feel bad about myself for needing help
BE CAUTIOUS, EDUCATE YOURSELF ON IVS, and IF SOMETHING IS PAINFUL SPEAK UP AND KEEP SPEAKING UP!!! I've been a nurse for going on 3 years for a year and a half I worked as a trauma nurse and the rest of the time I worked as a nurse for BioLife I know the ropes of plasma and IVs/ blood draws!! I went to donate plasma on Monday 03/24/2025! I was greeted by the cutest and nicest phleb! (I unfortunately didn't get her name but she was an angel) she stuck me and we got some good flow going but then it started to
Easy to do, friendly workers. I just advise you bring a jacket or a blanket. It is cold.
Ericka was great on checking my proteins and Cesar was great and made the whole process easy. Nitty also is a great person at The donation center. He is fun to talk with and easy going. I find the staff to be fun and easy to talk with.
Staff is not very friendly!! GO TO CSL, they pay more as far as extra promotional earnings. 1st time patients get $100 1st 3 visits then 2 $75 visit.. this place don't pay anything extra then the $110 a week along with an attitude not worth it!! The staff on Northern a GREAT IF YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE TO STAY ON THIS SIDE OF TOWN!!
Wasn't the best start as a new donor looking to support the need for plasma. I had an appointment scheduled for 1:00pm today, 11/28/24. Had no other plans because it's just me in Phoenix, have Thanksgiving off, and neither my friends or family live close enough for a get together. As I normally do for any appointment I called ahead of time by about an hour to make sure everything's good to go. I've had mix ups happen before. Was told by the man at reception that he was sure my appointment time was correct a
Horrible experience. A few workers are rude and Very disrespectful. I've had my arms bruised many of times because they poke you all wrong. There's Discrimination. There's unprofessionalism. They make Thousands while u make little too nothing.
Had me under the impression I could donate they refused to tell me why over the phone so I wanted My time coming here by bus for nothing. Screw donation centers anyway they pay you next to nothing and sell it for 5k... pathetic
Honestly what's the point of setting an appointment if you can't help donors on Time. My appointment was almost 30 minutes and I'm still waiting around . Whoever is in charge really needs to get it together and do what you are getting paid to do! RUN THIS PLACE LIKE IT NEEDS TO BE DONE. Still waiting!!!
Want to be gaslighted, traumatized? They called me to come back after a year. Said I needed to discuss why I was allowed to believe there was something wrong with my bloodwork after a physical, due to their insane policy. No one bothered to get back to me. Horrible experience that ended 10 years of donating. They don't seem to care
My experience at biomat Glendale was a very good one, from the hospitality to the consistency with a how fast they operate and handle the donating process for a safe and quick session. I would definitely go back ?? and recommend donating no where else but biomat.
Today I Ben at this office in .mesa at 945am now one will help me at all and the woman did not call me up and she take everyone but me and do not come to this office
My name is Devon Pina 8/23/2024 12:12PM I was kicked out by the manager, he said staff was complaining. I was uncomfortable around needles and blood extractions. They told me to read a a binder of the consent forms and procedures. in the middle of me reading the manager came to me, and said that I wasn't taking it seriously, and that I needed to leave. Before mentioning the staff complaints about me. I don't blame the manager. He's just making his staff feel safe. But the staff was unsensitive to my sit
I felt appreciated by numerous staff on the floor (where the phlebotomists and venupuncture techs work)? in particular by a staff member named Hillary, who does an excellent job!
WARNING: All potential donors avoid this place. I have read over the positive reviews, and I believe they may be faked. I would highly recommend listening to the lower ratings for this establishment. The staff does not care, nor does the company. Many individuals have shared their negative experiences can provide some more information on their own particular issues (I believe there are too many to count.) They have responded with a slightly automated response and will continue to do so. I implore everyone
This place is great! Didn't feel a thing and they have my favorite band aids and lollipops. Go there now, drop everything just for the lollipops and band aids.
This place is TERRIBLE!!! I usually go to the mesa location, went in to ask if i brought 2 new donors if i could still get the referral bonus- they LIED and told me all they needed was my full name, and it would be fine. Once i left, they were both told since i go to a different location, i couldn't get the referral!! Thats 100$! I would have driven them to meza for THAT! but no- they lied to get them in. Totally dishonest. It makes me want to take them yo CSL
Love this center . Shout out to kyannah, GIO, patty, Jill and tori and cherry ??, there all so friendly and very good at there jobs.
I recently visited the plasma center, and my experience was exceptional, thanks to Chloe's outstanding service. Her professionalism and warmth made the process comfortable, and I appreciate the center's commitment to creating a positive atmosphere for donors. I look forward to my next visit, knowing I'm in capable and friendly hands.
Don't not go to this place one of the female workers Jammed a needle am I on which is still hurting Dan she did not even wait 5 minutes to see if my blood was going to flow very Impatient It made it seem like it was my fault when she jammed a needle in my arm and that's why my blood didn't flow And she didn't even ask another worker or a or a specialist who works with small veins to even come over it was just all bad and this is a picture of what my arm looks like
Best place in town to take a Leak lmao Jk haha But seriously this the best spot known to nobody for service at the speed of love (Fastasshit)
Love this clinic Brenda and Rosario are so friendly and knowledgeable anyone who comes here will definitely be taken care of.
I absolutely love this place. Every single one of them working is awesome. Never had a problem with anyone. Always a good time here. I will always recommend someone to come here. They are always on top of things and making sure we are ok and doing well.
9/1/24 1120 am Ive been donating at this location for over 5 years off an on. My appt is at 1030 an I am still sitting in the lobby at 1125. This past month they started taking 960cc instead of the traditionall 800cc which adds more time to your donation. They increased the 1st by 5 bucks an added nothing to the 2nd donation. They are making it very hard to want to continue donating. GRIFOLS CORPORATE get your act together?!? Stop the GREED
Shout out to the entire staff this place is so clean always on point with how they treat their costumers. I have never had an issue with my pokes always have a great time here! This stuff is very friendly and very funny you will never want to fall asleep you will laugh the whole time .. oh and they have tvs too!!
I have been frequenting this plasma center for a couple of months now. The staff have always been friendly and cheerful. The other good part is that it took me less time to donate in this centet than other ones I visited before and that's mainly because they always have someone around to help in each stage of the process.
I will not donate at Grifols ever again. I'm a new donor on my 4th donation. I had an appointment at 5pm and I didn't leave until 8pm. The staff was sluggish and took their sweet time with literally everything. I even stayed connected to the machine for nearly 20 mins after I was done. My machine said low flow throughout the whole process and noone bothered to check my machine the entire time even when I was raising my hand. I eventually got tired of holding my hand up. Berta one of the managers there is al
Good experience with the process. They were able to work well with me on the process first time donor.
I was a former donor for plasma excellent experience all the time. Staff is very nice and professional. Update: waited an hr just to be informed I was considered a new donor . Need to come back. They where nice about it. But they just wasted my time taking 4 stars back. They should have told me when I checked in. That would have been nice.
Your employees need to learn better customer service skills because I've been here for almost an hour and the guy at the front desk can't even be bothered to get me checked in and take my information to get the process started. Not cool.
I would first like to say that as someone who goes there regularly, everyone there is very friendly and professional and I enjoy my plasma donations. My only complaint is that it seems that they're understaffed like many places these days. On several occasions I've had to wait 45 minutes to an hour after my appointment time to actually get in and start my donation. If they could figure that out, I would have zero complaints. For those of you who are there and come in daily, you guys are rock stars!!
The process is very fast here. I'm in and out within an hour. The people who work here are very polite and know what they are doing. The place is always clean when I come. I like that. Thumbs up ??
Great place! It is Quick, clean, and filled with friendly staff. Netty, Jenna, Brandon and Nick make the experience fun and relaxing.. they all provide great service with their professionalism. I expect the remaining staff to provide as much quality service. Thank you for all you guys do!!
Really great here. I been donating with this compan for over a year now and every time I go its amazing. Great people who work here and just flat out amazing. If I could give more 5 stars I would give them 10,000 of out 5 stars. I suggest everyone go here rather then any other place
Today was my first time donating here. Everyone is super nice and they make you feel welcome and comfortable. This place is clean and smells nice and they are very organized and everything went smoothly with no issues at all. It was pretty calm and not chaotic like some of the other plasma donation places.
Not only one rude staff but two ? they were cursing. Threatening to leave cause people wasn't coming in on Juneteenth. I definitely won't be returning to this location Edit : ok I lied about not returning but they still rude ?? They move really quick and efficient. TVs and no long standing. I'll deal with the slight rudeness
Alicia and Nitty always take great care of me and just make the overall environment as comfortable as possible. I come in to donate yet I always leave with a smile on my face because of them. They definitely deserve acknowledgement for the honest relationships they build with the donors and the quality of service they provide. P.S. If you're afraid of needle sticks, ask for Alicia. It will go as smoothly and painlessly as possible!
Hi, I've been going to the center for over a year. Everybody is very helpful. Very professional. Nitty always is there to help you and so is Jenna and Alicia. If you have any issue they will help you or make you feel comfortable. And if you want to see Joe dirt nitty will hook you up
It's best if you don't show up at all if your a new donor. They find any reason to defer you and make u come back tomorrow. Apparently I was taking a medicine that wasn't allowed but it wasn't on their list. they told me after I got done waiting in the waiting room for about 2 hrs.
Gotta say this is the best plasma donation center in the valley. With competitive compensation and they have monthly bonus events/programs that let you earn even more. The staff is great and they get to know you by name and are always very friendly. Also very well trained and make it as painless as possible when getting ready to donate
But overall, great quality in the employees and service at Biomat USA.
Kind staff and good donor compensation. I have donated at 6 other centers in my life, and this is one of the better ones, albeit the building is located in more of a rundown area. That's not a big deal considering the building is clean and organized.
I have been coming here for 2 years and have always had a great experience. The staff is friendly, the facility is clean, and most of the time you are in and out.
Great place. Love the employees! In and out. Super friendly!!
AUGUST 31 2023 approximately 10:45 hours . Called today & requested conformation on my donor status in regards to qualifying to receive proper payment for a donation for the 2nd time donating per one week pay period . Staff confirmed based off my last donation completed that todays donation I would be qualified to receive payment at the rate of a 2nd donation per week . Upon my arrival at my scheduled appointment hour I requested front desk confirm that I was a 2nd time donor today for the week and would
This Facility is OK besides the fact that I feel there's always something every time I come in to test and today i tested & as the women is putting the needle in my arm it felt like she was inserting the needle with aggression. I love ?? to donate but should I continue if I feel like I'm being mistreated? Oh I've been dealing with Plenty at this location & I continue to go back even though nothing about it is changing. Just treat people the way you would want them to treat your (KIDS,MOTHER,FATHER EXT). &
This place is Awesome, the employees are so gentle. I have small veins so it usually is hard to find and when they find a vein its hard to get. These employees hit it every time they don't have to adjust it in my arm and off we go. They are also great to talk to. If you have a problem they will do what they can to fix it right away. They have all kinds of games you can play get enrolled today you will love them too!
They have a very friendly and supportive community at their site. In particular nitty, he is super friendly and loves to converse when appropriate. He makes you feel comfortable and welcomed.
I've been coming to this location for over a year now. The staff on the floor is wonderful. Today Jacob stood out more so than usual, not just because he's 6'2, but his customer service was absolutely wonderful. He is very much appreciated by me. Thank you Jacob!!!!!
I have a thyroid condition that causes me to get hypertension from time to time went yesterday blood pressure was too high. Couldn't even donate today as a cause some dude didn't realize I had been already done with half the onboarding process and instead of being professional he accused me of yelling something that never happened I got asked twice for my ID and social and I told him the woman at the desk already asked me for it was there aggravation in my tone yes the process is very repetitive doing the s
I have been a donor since August 2023. The clinic is very close to home, I have been pleased with service provided by staff. They are very professional and efficient with taking care of us donors.
Staff is always friendly and helpful. Nitty did my disconnect today and he was on that green light. I think he knew I was done before I did. Great job.
0 stars. Don't go here they don't honor the pay here. They promise 1 thing then don't honor it. I've had to call them over 6 times to correct my pay too. It happens to every donor there so the ones who don't pay attention to their pay don't get what they're owed. Go to csl this place is a joke. Keep in mind I've been donating twice a week for months and have had nothing but problems. I donated at csl for years and never had to call them once. I only switched for the new donor pay which they didn't even hono
This was my first time donating plasma. I thought the staff was so kind, and extremely helpful. I was there at 6am, that's when they opened. I was helped right away. Can't wait to go back. It feels good knowing I'm helping those that need plasma. With Christmas coming, the money is a great help to me. ??
Always clean and the process is very quick and easy. Perks and promos are a plus. Nitty, DG and MZ always look out and make people feel welcome, they're truly great staff members!
My phlebotomist Adrianna was awesome and she was so informative and nice. I love the staff there they are always happy and help with any questions that I've ever had.
The staff is always professional and people friendly. Only issue I ever have with this facility is the timely manner in which I am processed through. Spoke with a supervisor James about my issue he addressed it in a very professional manner and personally made sure my next visit was quick. I applaud the outstanding customer service and professional attitude.
1. I've been donating for over a year since March, and I donate myself twice a week regularly as you're allowed to there. The people are very nice, and I am myself have had a few minor anxiety issues in the past in which case certain women that have worked with me on doing the blood pressure monitor first to make sure I don't excite myself out of failing what I'm supposed to be in the area of to pass, work with me which I very much appreciate. 2. Even being hooked up by some of the same people over time,
There's no consistency. Joe at the front desk has a different procedure to check in than anyone else. His procedures are different and more inconvenient.
Fastest Donation Place I've been to Clean and helpful environment
Nitty is a exception, he a amazing person , very kind and all out amazing person ! One of the best and my favorite worker ! He also very careful with sticking and always gets you in and out!
I am here two times a week. Great environment. Very clean. The best and friendliest techs. My favorites are Jazzi, Sandra and especially Jaime. But they are all amazing and caring.
If I could give this place zero stars I would. The lack of communication is so disappointing for the work that they say they are trying to achieve. I have been donating plasma for about a year now, the staff always nice but the establishment overall has such poor communications in terms of what donors need to be allowed to donate. There is a physical that needs to be done annually and I did not find out that I was due until I had already scheduled an appointment and arrived expecting to donate. I did not ha
When I started coming here, the staff immediately made me feel at ease. The staff greets people by name or stops by to check on you. Make sure you ask for Tawny! Not only does she do a great job, she's always got a smile on her face, she's professional also! Biomat, needs more employees like her
The staff is all very friendly and professional I haven't had any bad experience, the security guard there is also very friendly and takes the time to great you (by name if he knows you) as well as keep the lobby nice and safe for staff and donators. The environment in the back is kept neat and clean and the phlebotomists get you in and out as fast as possible,my average donation time is 40-60 mins.
Hello how much you get for it if it's ur first time doing that ?
If time isn't an issue this place is perfect for you! I was told two hours it's be almost four and I still have not donated. No one seems to even care that I've been waiting this long. That are making me feel like a just a number, not a costumer.
Today, I came in as a new donor and everything was going very well until we got to the test portion of the visit. I asked the front desk woman who was helping me (wore half rimmed leopard glasses) twice to clarify the question, and I received the same answer and so I failed. I wasted not only my time and patience, but my trust. Other than that this facility is alrightand never pick up their calls.
I love this place!! They can be slow at times when they don't have enough people on the floor compared to how many donors they have. BUT I've never had a real issue with who I've gotten to stick me or what have you. Once you get through the initial first time your usually out with in an hr to an hr 1/2.
Always a great experience. Scheduling is so awesome. The entertainment always has me leaving with a new que. Just wish they hadn't done away with the referrals. That would've helped me alot....also I downloaded the app and still haven't got the payment for that. Woulda had that 5 ?zzz but just came short on those simple payment issues .
Very clean, organize fast. No waiting in line like other plasma places. Schedule your appointment. Blood work done on a regular basis. Staff is professional and caring. I will never
I began donating here about 2 years ago. I was very apprehensive at first. The common misconception that plasma donation centers are seedy mills taking advantage of the disenfranchised, could not be further from the truth. There are other centers I could go to that are closer to me, however, I absolutely come back regularly because of the staff. Frank the manager, runs a great shop. The rest of the staff are top notch! Thank you to Erika, Juanita, Dana, Tawny, Donald, David, Jocelyn, Patty, Hilary, Edit
I would like to say they do an awesome job!! I have been donating almost a year I believe. The staff is always nice and very friendly. They get you in and out the facility in a timely fashion. The facility is clean. Overall I would give them 10 !!!!
I have been donating at this location for 5 years. The staff is great even when they are short handed, they take the time to do their job properly and answer all questions. They are very professional and kind!
I've been donating here on and off for the last 4 years or so, and the experience is great! From check-in to final draw It's about a 45min procedure, and you get to watch a movie.
When I came in to Donate today. It was nice and cool inside decorated with seasonal decorations. The process was quick and painless. U guys are gr8.
I've been coming for years ND haven't been anywhere else and the ppl are pretty chill ND haven't had any problems nitty always does a good job and asks if I'm good after ND before
The first ever donation took about 2 hours total. Every time I've returned it's only taken about 1hr 15min. All the employees are great and you get paid to your card before you can get to the nearest store.
Very disappointed with the person in charge of permanently deferring me from Grifols do to a staff error. I informed the Bakersfield CA location of all my tattoos and piercings but some how the person doing my intake failed to mark that I had a nose piercing that I got over 31 years ago. Why not investigate my issue and reschedule me when investigation was completed. I'll tell you why, cuz they're lazy and lord forbid that they're staff messed. Up. Like a narcissist, not owning up to their mistakes.
Great place im happy to be part of the cause and save lifes . Great, awesome staff, good service everything is in a timely manner. Recommend location.
My first 3 experiences were great except for the 4th visit. I rather not get into details, however what I do recommend is a company meeting with ALL the employees to ensure a positive and respectful work environment, NOT just for them, but for us as donors.
God forbid you get stuck in traffic. Theyll cancel your appointment and wont let you donate if youre a minute late. I took 30 minutes of my time trying to make it to this appointment, and your staff couldnt give me a break on one minute? They would rather have me take another 30 minutes driving home and hope that I dont run into traffic again when I try to drive 30 minutes back the next day.... How do you consider yourself a decent human being after that?
I wish I could rate them zero Stars the worst center ever patience are having an adverse reaction medical staff is chasing a fight that's not happening in or on the property new patients to be screened no one's there to help I've never seen a place so unprofessional so I left and an it makes me wonder who's doing the hiring no way would I ever trust them with my body
The place was alright but Victoria made my visit 10 times better she's great with people and she definitely deserves a raise so give her a raise!!!!
When I went to donate at the Glendale office. Spent 5 hrs. There and could not donate! Due to my error. I. Days I donate cause I switched from CSL to griffols wasn't aware my days would stay the same my error! But. The worker look up on the. Computer and informed me I could return following day. To donate. So I wake up catch 4 buses to get to office. And. Sit and wait and do damn near whole process again just to be told the computer automatically puts a seven day hold on anyone switching donation centers.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
