I got an email saying they were doing 750$ for 8 donations if I donate by June 1st. I haven't had great experiences here before but I thought maybe things have changed. So I made an appointment to return to donate after 2 years and it's worse than before. The staff is unfriendly & doesn't want to be there. The security guard is a sweetheart and much nicer than the staff. It seems like they have a problem there as I saw over 15 people waiting around to be stuck or even get checked & people complaining about
How do you show us for an appointment for 8:30am and it takes you 2 hours to get screened????? The staff doesn't call any donors for over an hour and the donor floor has on 2 donors donating! Please MAKE THIS MAKE SENSE!!!! Terrible! They need to hire more help! Security is ok but very consistent about the whole musical chair thing! Very aggravating!
plasma donation is a billion dollar industry. now think of the crumbs these centers pay you. legally, it shouldn't even classified as "donation". it is a form of labor. people don't donate to save lives, they do it to pay bills. the overwhelming majority of donors are poor and homeless. a more fair payment taken into account what these centers make would be $100-300 per donation. plasma is liquid gold. if all donations ceased overnight, billions would be lost and people will die. but these centers treat you
WORST plasma center I ever been to. This was suppose to be my second vist. I woke up at 5 A.M to be one of the first ones there. I was not aware that you had to make an appointment I thought it was like other plasma centers first come first serve. I was trying to explain that to the security guard that when I did my questionnaire it didn't ask me to request a time. Another plasma donor tried to help me( thank u to him) In addition to us trying to figure out what I did wrong because I had the QR CODE just n
Since I'm seeing all the bad reviews, I might as well add my experience. I tried to return a few months ago. I use to come when it was Biotest. I waited almost 30 minutes before the lady took me around to the screener to check my veins. I said "MY LEFT ARM IS MY BEST ARM TO DONATE" The nasty screener said well both arms need to be good. I said I didn't say my right was not good and I repeated what I said. She tied the rubber band around my right arm, quickly looked at my arm and told me you can't donate be
This is literally the WORST donation center in Florida. The employees suck. They sit around as long lines of waiting people gather. They always have call outs but no hiring sign and 1 person screening when it's 10 people waiting. Always dirty. They have you to sit on chairs still wet with Clorox. The floor had blood on it last time I went. They also disconnected a machine and the person next to me blood got on my hand. Anytime you go it? will take 2+ hours. Literally a HORRIBLE FACILITY.
Most plasma centers are the same : It is usually a bunch of people who don't have jobs complaining about how other people should work. What about the donors who sit on their phone's playing instead of pumping when they should be " NO FLOW "or falling a sleeping. They shouldn't allow cell phones while donating, because for some odd reason squeezing your hand together and watching your phone at the same time seems to be an impossible task for most. If you don't have a ball or some other firm item to squeeze
Lack of customer service, the staff here are the worst I've come across. Machines constantly out of service, lose internet, when is time to get paid had to wait bout an hour for internet to come online. WAIT TIME IS RIDICULOUS, yup make an appointment and you aren't seen til 2 hours later! People that stick you, no bedside manners. You better going to CSL, Octapharma, Hemapharma (not sure of the name) located 2700nw 79st in the shopping center. I could I give this place negative -5. Avoid phlebotomist Leo,
This place is a joke I've had my tattoos for over 5 years and haven't got one since then i donate at octapharma with no problems I tried to go here and they denied me for have to many tattoos and said its a new rule that you have to have space between tattoos thats a joke all other center are fine and I can donate just fine there smh well I won't be coming back and you can call all you want no one will answer they lost a new donor and a regular donor for there new rule dont waste your time go to octapharma
Well I don't even know where to start, anyway my husband had to take a protein test and had been back to see what the results were and was told to call before you come back So he's been calling for the last 2 days and still gotten no answer so today we both went back to grifols and sat in the front waiting to see someone and I was also calling while sitting in the lobby and still no one came to the front (waiting for an hour) like this is crazy work Are you guys hiring because I can work the front desk as a
Worst customer service ever, machines are always with an issue, them machines have never internet and they take a long time to pay people after donating... The staff unprofessional starting from Joe ''Supervisor Manager" to Dania the floor phlebotomist supervisor the s place is a joke. You want to help by donating recommend any other place. This phlebotomist Leo, rude avoid at all cost!
The waiting time is ridiculous ?????????? What is the point of scheduling an appointment when you get seen past your appointment time. You spend more time waiting than anything. Then they always have empty beds instead of filling up all the beds. Management here sucks and can care less. We are doing your company a favor treatment your clients better!!!
As a new donor Grifols Treated me exceptionally well from start to finish. I want to give a special shoutout to Rose who was very polite & professional.
When I first started going it was quick and easy, they seemed to have plenty of staff and constantly getting people moving. However now, it takes them over an hour just to get me started, every donation shouldn't take 2 hours now when just a few months ago it took under an hour for returning donors. Update: They got new machines and now the whole process is taking 3+ hours, the new machines are significantly slower and no one is comfortable with using them
Wow, this is the best place I've ever been to, and I've been to quite a few. The staff is simply phenomenal. They offer a wide range of programs and various giveaways, and the compensation is better than almost all, if not all, of the places I've been in the past. Joe is the best. He's incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about his patients. He doesn't just treat them like numbers. I highly recommend giving it a try. And if you're nervous about needles, don't worry. They have the best staf
The staff here is great, with the exception of one lady but there is always one. Now the new machines are freaking horrible!!!! Went last week for the first time on the new machine, it took me 25 minutes to pump on the old ones, it took me 1 hour 20 minutes on the "new" machine. It kept messing up then blew my vein. The HUGE nasty bruise on my arm looks scary. I was beyond upset!!! As much as I want to come back here, I don't know if I will. PLEASE bring the old machines back. Even the staff complains about
Wish this update was positive: been here an hour and 20 min. Made it through the screening part. Now waiting to get hooked up. 9 people before me. Now 13 people waiting to get hooked up. God knows how many hours this could take. This could very well be my last time. New update: Short staffed. Some things don't change. Last time I was here I had to leave, it would have been 2 hours plus before I might have been finished. Today 10 people before me. .Update: since I've gone back, things have significantly chan
I just had the worst experience of my life, I made the appointment for today last friday morning for today and the earliest available time it was at 8:45am, since is my only day off and I wanted to take advantage of the rest of today I showed up by 6:30am knowing they'll open by 7am. I was the first one at that clinic then I notice that only around 7 to 9 people showed up after me for their 7am appointment. I was told by the security guard that his supervisor will not let me in even if I showed up at 5am. I
I normally like coming here and i have twice a week for over a year, but a recent change in equipment has thrown everything into chaos. Now what used to be on average a 1 hour and a half appointment (walking in to walking out) is a multi-hour slog even early on in the morning. Unless you have 4 hours to kill, go donate somewhere else until they get their act together. Addendum: they've made no improvements to their scheduling and system since and all the convenience is completely out the door. Don't bother
The organization of this facility is appalling, matched only by the poor attitude of the staff, including the managers. Unfortunately, this was not an isolated incident; the negative experiences were frequent and consistent, ultimately leading me to switch centers. Definitely, I DO NOT recommend this place.
It used to be good until this passed week now it's about 2-3 hrs every time . Don't know what's going on. Understaffed...
I have been coming here for a long time never had a bad experience Yozy and Dania and all the staff have always been fabulous in Customer Service and assisting with any questions ect?.. Today I had the worst experience with Nelvis as I asked her a question and she yelled at me first of all k didn't understand her all I understood was ?I don't know? first of all as a nurse in the nursing field myself the answer I don't know is totally unacceptable a professional would say I'm not sure but I will find out spe
I tried not to do this but this is ridiculous. The head Dr is gonna be on the side of the slowest employees I've ever seen at any plasma place. On average I'm getting stuck a hour after appointment time with no one really working. It's absolutely no sense of urgency or regards to anyone?s time. A whole unit is empty with 4 ppl on the floor and had to wait over 30minutes for my name to be called the. This whole staff including the head doctor needs to be replaced and I need a number to communicate this to an
Great customer service with a quick and easy donating process. I highly recommend! It's a great way to keep up with your health, help others and make some extra money. Tell them Terrance Scott sent you, last four digits 9486.
Very nice staff and amazing security guard Rick (unc). They try and get you out as quick as possible and treat you like family.
I have a 10:15 appointment and it is now 11:00. I have been screened and sitting in th back for 45 minutes and they have not stuck a single person.
the slowest Plasma center ever , they are so disorganized . Every time I try to donate I sit in the waiting area for at least 2-4 hours waiting just to DONATE . The phlebotomist people they have are not trained to work in a busy environment. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL
This place has gone down hill really bad , I was trying to be a return customer after not donating there for more the 6 months and was told I needed to take a blood test and wait a week for the results to come in well after a week I was told I needs to wait another week so I go back after waiting another week I was told 2 days ago that they didn't have a doctor or nurse on the premises they said come back Sunday or money , I go back today , they send me to the back to see the nurse she tells me oh your goin
Bottom line: If they haven't closed down yet, they have been acting like they are on the verge for several months and employees are going to be just as surprised as donors to find the place closed Some of the clearer indications that you might just waste your trip over there: * Reducing their hours, closing at 6:00 which is as bad as CSL and leaves Octaplasma with the most convenient hours. * Decline in payments at a rate of about $20 per month which has been going for over a year and now lowest against
Terrible service. They let me schedule an appointment for 6:30 pm. Then when I come in they sent me away because the nurse had 2 persons in line and the nurse cannot work past 7 pm. What is that why even make the appointment. At my job if customer is there before we close I must still serve them
Make an appointment to stand in a line for a hour+. Makes no sense at all. The time doesn't match the pay.
Out of the places that I've donated plasma in my life this is the worst. Staff is lazy. They are just chillen while you have 6 people waiting. What is the point of making an appointment if then? It's funny because they walk around looking at you and act as if you're not there. I brought in a new donor and they didn't have anyone to help him. What a disgrace?. Also referred a friend and and never got paid. When I asked manager for help he said he was busy and didn't have time for me. What a bunch of unprofes
So many bad things to say about this place, first time I went it took me 4 hrs until I get to the physical exam, I had to leave without donating because even after planing 4 hrs in advance wasn't enough, nevertheless the place was empty nobody in line, and they had the nerve to skip me over another new patient that came after me because I wasn't black, I felt discriminated and had to go after loosing my entire morning from 8:30 am till 1:00 pm, with a full staffed place they just give an impression that the
I don't get it, today the lady said I had good veins on the right of my arm, but the other ladies said I cannot donate, I'm so confused I've donated at other blood donation and they had no issue letting me donate. All because of my tattoo?, I had high hopes. There's other people who probably donated with a tattoo, I had one vein on the left that was yellow and the other on the right that's green. But I cannot donate? What's the reason? Why can I not donate?
I would like to give a HUGE shout out to Dania, Aracely, and Adriana for their professionalism and quick service in working as team. They were well organized and ready to take on the donors: no side chit chat among each other. They worked extremely well together and you could sense that their goal was to get the donors in and out as quickly as possible. Hats off to these three workers and to management for finally achieving STELLAR customer service. Please keep these three together because if I could have g
Look elsewhere guys. I would give a 0 if I could. This is what happens when people from Miami start coming to Broward. I find this company extremely unprofessional and disorganized. And besides, thanks to a free market economy,we have choices. And other centers pay more. (ITM pays $75 per visit) First of all they never answer the phone. And I could have avoided the one hour drive from Miami. The lady at the desk has no mental capacity or people skils. I presented my driver's license along with my official s
Waited nearly an hour to be told to come back .... It takes me 30 minutes to donate..... A total lack or respect for peoples time . Workers asking me what's going on as if I work there. Nothing was explained just come back with a stern attitude like I'm a child. If something wasn't done someone's not doing there job .... Lost for words .... 5-10 people went ahead no explanation just left to sit and waste time .
This my gf email. But you can tell the workers are trying their best. I waited for hours being ignored in the lobby. But this short manager Sarah helped me breeze by in like 10 minutes when she walked up. I can see why it took so long though because she was helping in a lot of places going back and forth the whole time I was there. Everyone calls her small manager there which is kind of funny. She went and got another manager named Anika for help as well. Once they got up front things started moving fas
This center has extremely bad management. Almost next to none, there is a guy named Joe who is the supposed manager who does nothing but sit in his office and say that hes working. Meanwhile, the entire staff doesn't know what they're doing. and lacks bedside manner/ time management. There is constantly rooms full of people. And it takes over 3 hours to collect plasma. Even though I literally do the kiosk on my phone and check myself in!??? The only thing that they have to do is take a blood sample, my wei
You can't reach anyone by phone. It says walk ins from 11 am. We drove 45 minutes and arrived at 11:15. We were greeted by Joseph who pulled out. A sheet that had 9 appointments on it and said they were closing at 4 and could not take us that we needed an appointment. I advised you can't make an appointment online he replied yep. That is correct your first time you get a registration number and will be able to after that. They don't have anyone to answer the phone. There was no one waiting like there i
I've been coming to plasma for about three years. As long as I've been coming to plasma I've been greeted well and treated like a family member. The staff and employees are the kindest people I've met. Thank you Joe, Eva, Rosa for being so king and friendly
This place is a joke! First time I went in the late morning, sat in the reception area for over an hour before someone told me the wait would be another 3 hours to get through the first time donor process then another 30-45 minutes to donate. I decided to come back another time when they were less busy. I returned this morning. Enter the center, waited for 15 minutes before the staff (other than security who announced my arrival), even acknowledged my presence. However several staff members were chatting an
These reviews for the Hollywood Florida Griffols center are very discouraging. I used Grifols in Ft Worth Texas 5629 W Rosedale St 76107. This center is what a plasma center should be like and I've been to several different companies. Every single person there are professional, attentive and actually loving towards each other (staff) and their donors. I've never seen so much as a frown there. I am so sorry to have to choose another location to use. I hope and pray that the issues in the reviews have been ad
Awesome awesome place to donate. Professional, clean, friendly really changes the dynamics of what a plasma center has a reputation of. Best company in town you must try them. Phlebotomist, Nurses, Management, screeners even the security guards. A(+++)
The new machines were a very bad purchase! They actually prolong donation times. The workers on the floor are either great or lazy and incompetent; leaving the good worker to work harder. Don't know what has happened with this place but you definitely can sense a change in the atmosphere. Take better care of your employees especially the veterans workers and the hard workers! Get rid of the paycheck collectors. And, I don't know what the use of appointments are because I see people go ahead of me all of
I like this place way better than csl or octopharna. The other plasma places are ghetto af. At least here if someone starts acting crazy they deal with it so the other customers dont feel uncomfortable/unsafe. The tall lightskin manager she dose not play that acting crazy stuff at all. She looks really mean but shes always been very helpful when me or my man need help with anything. The wait is pretty long like the other reviews mention and they should definitely hire more people. The workers seem overworke
When I first came to donate I was told I would receive 100 the first four times after that it would be 50. However, I went today and only got 50 .. called the place multiple times and no one answered the phone. So of course I had to spent gas and drive back to the location and I spoke with a manager I explained to her the situation, she stated she will give me the 50 plus.. check my card it's been hours still haven't received the other 50. Manager also told me that it will only be 50 moving forward even th
I think arriving at 3pm with a new patient appointment scheduled and leaving past closing (8pm) is ridiculous.. They have no one at the front desk ever and it's a pain to reach them through the phone. The workers are quite disrespectful too, on the phone with airpods in during the entire vitals process..? The only thing that makes this place worth it is the security guard up front and the short curly haired worker
Been calling for a week NO ONE EVER answers the phone. I'm NOT driving from Deerfield until I KNOW how much NEW DONORS are getting paid. SMMFH??
I liked this Place until I got a lower pay than they promised 2 times. The second donation is supposed to be 75. Then I ask the security guard for help, and he's just rude . Way out of line told me he doesn't give '$%' this is a business transaction, etc. Also, this time, the donation was so painful that my arm was hurting a lot. Im like, ykno, what is this worth it? . I am extremely tolerant of how this place is, and that was the last straw. Honestly, you dont need to donate plasma here. Just go to a p
This place is the worst. Ever since the new owners. They made it so much more uncomfortable so much so that they lost half their donors and more than half their staff. I asked to speak with a supervisor. Was told she would be out in about 15 minutes. Once she came out she didn't even greet any of the donors nor did she come to find out who what when or where. The big bosses are all rude as hell
I would never recommend coming here. Staff is very rude and passive aggressive. System changed a few months ago and the process for applicants already in the system is frustrating. You have to wait in the lobby for over 15 minutes even if you are on time for your appointment. This place is a joke and you will end up spending at least 2 hours just waiting.
DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION! The staff could care less about you! The Asian nurse was one of rudest people I've ever met turning away patients just because they close soon, But what's the point of having an appointment system if you're not going to follow it! The woman told me usually it's okay for them to retest a patient but they're trying to go home so home back tomorrow like people just have a open availability! Ghetto, dirty, unorganized, facility never coming back here, all of the workers look like t
Every time I come here is such a bad experience they can't invest in soap in their bathrooms and they can't invest in blood pressure pumps that work for plus size
Had an appointment at 1030am it's already 2pm and haven't even had my physical yet. Is it busy?? Nope. One person getting blood taken while the 10 other people are still just waiting. When you look around the workers are just hanging out talking and laughing. Haven't seen anyone actually work in over an hour. Avoid this place. 10 workers at 2:11 pm and nobody is working just hanging out laughing and playing on Instagram. Must be nice to get paid not to work and waste everyone's time.
I dread Everytime I have to come here. I am currently out of work and am forced to have to come here for a few petty dollars. The problem with this center is not the people. It's whoever is running it. In other centers it takes 2 to 3 hours max even when it's packed. Here it's ALWAYS the same doesn't matter at what time you come it's 3 to 5 hours sometimes 6. Griffols dosent care about saving life's. They capitalize on low income people paying them basically nothing for their plasma which griffols makes tho
I stopped donating over a year ago because of how disorganized this place was but after MONTHS of emails urging me to come back that i qualify for ?special compensation? I finally decided ok let me give them another try. Only to get there & do the whole ?pre-screening? process for the lady to very rudely tell me ?oh yea they just send you that to get you back in here, we don't actually offer any of what that email says? She talked to me like I was one of the other junkies in there hoping to a couple dollar
this place is a joke. octapharma gets you in and out in like an hour, even in their busiest day. maybe they should get some tips from them. At Octa there will be literally 3 workers and you're still not waiting an hour plus to even start donating. Here you have 2 taking vitals and like 3 or 4 phlebotomists in the back and it still takes a whole almost 2 hour process. I shouldn't be having my whole afternoon screwed over because they want to be slow.
They never answer the phones. They said it's cause they might be busy in the booth with someone. But there are times I see employees just standing there talking. Most of the front desk girls are nice. But some of the girls in the donating room are a completely different story. They don't communicate with you, they ignore you, and God forbid you have a question. One time after donating, I told the girl (I think it was Gennie) I needed to use the restroom and asked if she could wrap me up first so I can go. S
This place is extremely understand unprofessional and inadequate in every possible way the entire Administration needs to be replaced I tried speaking to Administration and they pushed it off like they know everything but still is taking 3 hours for the average patient to get in and be seen it takes about 30 minutes at CSL Plaza to get in and be seen it's absolutely ridiculous I wouldn't go there again if you paid me $300 is such a waste of time. In addition to that they require appointments which is a stup
I am a new donor & referred my cousin who provided my information as a the referred donor. Upon my cousins second donation I also donated the same day & after donating I received my donation fee but did not receive my referral bonus. It was late evening & no manager was available to fix the situation. I called back the next day & no one answered the phone all day & I left messages. I visited the location the next morning to speak w/staff about the donation bonus. Someone who said they were a manager came to
This place could operate so smoothly if it wasn't so understaffed. I wish they cared to make the experience easier for donors and nurses. The wait here is disrespectful, they even make you make an appointment, but be prepared to wait 3-4 hours?EVERY TIME
Christy the nurse, is very nice and have a great customer service and personality make aroma very comfortable in the environment!
The pay is really good for first time donors...but I don't know my donor ID and i have to make appointments to donate...tried calling to see what is my ID number and no one answers so now I can't donate again without that number. Edited 10/11/23 This is by far the slowest plasma donation center and the most complicated. They do not do walk-ins and where CSL and Octapharma takes 2-3 hours, it takes me 4-5 and I'm a returning donor! They only have one person checking temperature, weight and blood pressure...
I was deeply hurt and sad to write this review let me start off by saying that. I was at this facility 9/19/2022 my apt was 6:30pm. I am not sure if maybe people who worked there wanted to hurry up and leave but everyone seemed like there were very much ready to go (completely understandable on a Monday evening) none the less a young lady by the name of sonia was my phlebotomist that day. I noticed she was a little shaky when she was getting ready to stick me but wasn't that worried because sometimes we ju
This location has a huge problem with the BP machine for people that are a larger size I've donated at CSL and octapharma and never had a problem with my BP and I'm speaking and a change after two weeks... I don't suffer from high BP so it's absolutely funny I got turned away for it after waiting a hour and a half today. First time was about the same but I had to try every machine on all six bays to get a good reading... Pathetic I won't waste my time again $100 is a lure I'm no fish. I'll continue going to
This is the worst place. Don't be fooled by the 5stars on here. it's their own employees writing good reviews to cover up the mess. 1. I scheduled the appointment online for 9:30am (pointless) 2. I walked in at 9:30am and no one was there to assist, I had to walk to the back to seek assistance, the lady then checked me in. 3. Finally, at 11:00am I walked up to ask questions, and they took me to the interview room for about 10mins (imagine if I didn't ask questions) 4. Then sat back down for 1hour. Met up wi
The majority of the staff is great there, the only down fall is the staff could try a little more to get people in and out as soon as possible. They make the atmosphere fun and all but sometimes we don't all have time to sit and wait for them to stop and chat with each other and they rarely answer the phones when i call. Sometimes i don't have access to the internet and would like to schedule an apt or have questions and can't ever get an answer cuz no one answers the phone.... So in a nut shell I'd like to
Don't support this business they are extremely inconvenient. They asked for proof of social and then said because my name has jr it doesn't match. They let you wait dispite they make thousands off our donations. This company isn't worth your time.
I used to love coming here because the max wait would be 2 hours and I was okay with that but I have been here since 8:40am and it is now 10am and I still have 20 people ahead of me. There is not enough staff members for donors and the wait is ridiculous. There are only 2 people taking plasma, only 2!! Yesterday at 1pm they were just starting to call people from 9am because they were prioritizing new donors over existing! They either need to get more workers for donors or get their priorities in check. Upda
It took them 1 hour and a half to let me know that my vein was not good to donate. Waste of time. Bad customer service EXCEPT for the security that is very nice ??
At this location I feel a few of the Spanish staff members are bias if not racially profiling the African-Americans by saying that they are African Americans that work there, Haitian dissent Jamaican dissent those are not the ones that are doing the profiling? i?ve had encounters with one particular staff member name is Lourdes very rude takes her position as if she CEO of the company she picks and chooses and she's very vindictive I only go to this location because it is close Convenience and this company
Very unprofessional... Had me wait for 2 hours before I had to ask someone if they forgot me... of course they did. Finally got to the back and they refused me because my veins were supposedly too small... even though you could see them and feel them, on top of having needle marks that show where i get stuck from previous donations... Never had a problem anywhere else... they wat your veins to stick out like hulk hogan's in order to donate... any professional would get it done... I'm 5'10 170lbs not fat at
Yes,the other day I went in to donate my plasma and had the best experience. It was my first time doing and it takes like 3 hours, but it was worth the time because I'm O Neg and I know my plasma is worth gold for the new babies in the hospital. Rosie was my tech and also had the best service with her. She is a hard worker and is very professional. How the manager is also very professional in how he runs the place.
This location is horrible, long wait times, not enough employees and the ones that do work here all they talk about is getting another job. I,like others, use to like coming here. Now it is slow and stressful. I had a 115pm appt and haven't made it to the donation bed yet. 315pm. Don't come here you will regret it. A follow-up as it is a new week.. Arrived at 12:45 for a 1pm appt. Made it into the booth to get vitals checked at 115pm. Now 3pm and have not gone to the donation floor yet. I am only going to g
I'm a first time donor And I spoke with management earlier today about the long wait to donate. She was extremely rude and unprofessional when told about how long I have to wait. And then they say make an appointment, but you make one just to wait. I got there at 9 o'clock in the morning and left after 2pm. The management at this place really needs to be replaced and more staff hired Tom the heavy flow of clients.
Wait times are ridiculous, appointments are required but mean nothing. Always takes 2 to 3 hours to get through the process. It takes me 25 to 35 mins for the actual time. The rest is spent waiting Please manage appointments based on you staffing. They also take new donors to the donor floor before regular donors WHY?
I'm no longer going here. Yesterday I did went in at 9am. I waited until 1:15pm and wasn't seen. I did my blood sample at 10am. No one came to tell me anything. I got up and ask Imani at 12:50pm when are they going to see me. She said I was next. I waited until 1:15pm still nothing. I got up and left and a staff member asked me am I leaving. Yes I'm leaving and I won't be back period. My time is valuable and if you guys are short staffed you need to hire people or give us a warning of something for making p
Unlesss you have all day to wait and nothing else on your schedule do not donate here! Then the staff will turn around and have an attitude with you because of the long waits. It's ridiculous
Never been, because I've been trying for two weeks to call and make an appointment but nobody answers the phone or returns my messages. Seems to be on brand for them after seeing several reviews here mentioning their horrid customer service/patient care. Great start lol I'll stick with CSL.
I have no clue why they never pick up the phone is like if no one works there?? I tried more than 5 times today feb 10/2024 and yesterday still nothing I have an appointment for tomorrow I guess is better not to ever show up to this place? wow..
I have been coming here for over a year. The experience is usually seamless, but the communication is really poor. It has happened to me twice where I have failed my protein sample. I understand that it needs to be conducted, but why don't they let you know prior to the donation process? I often come after work and so I don't have time to eat a solid meal because I work in Miami. By notifying you a sample will be collected, it gives you the option to come another day. That is the only issue I have. The wai
I donated about 3 years ago in the previous location and it was good super clean, friendly staff, and you were in and out. I went back 3 weeks ago and and was considered a new donor so was told it was going to take about 2 hours which wasn't so bad as I knew to expect that already. Ramon was my tech and he was super awesome fast at hooking me up and was really good at sticking me without hurting me, checked on me and everyone in his section atleast every 5 mins to make sure we were fine and made the experie
Staff are friendly they very inconsistent sometimes they open on time and other days they don't, should be some incentive for having to wait on them but I'm sure that's not going to happen. Sunday I had a 7am appointment and because the staff member let the other people in that had 7:15 appointments as well and of course they get to the kiosk before I do I'm left waiting while their already seen and I'm left waiting, how is that fair??I didn't think it was either. Not the best service all the time. But the
I recently visited Biotest Hollywood and it was really smooth experience, mainly due to two phlebotomist by the name of Lilly and Takiera, they were so polite and helpful, most of all patient because I had a lot of questions, but they literally answered every question and even made sure I was to stay hydrated even after the process. I appreciate how kind and informative they were, hopefully this can be acknowledged by there staff because they're job isn't easy and sometimes they deal with a rough crowd.
I've been coming here for years they used to be quick to serve the anti d donors and had great customer service, but lately they don't even have time to answer the phone. Waited 4+ hours to donate which is unacceptable I don't know what's going on but this place used to value their donors. They are about to lose plenty of referrals and donors.
Wait time is extremely long due to no staff because corporate will not hire new staff and they took out the chairs as well. DO NOT COME HERE. Workers are very kind but need more assistance here . Payment is not with it. Corporate does not care. A generic response will be left under my post and I'm not interested in speaking to anyone !!!!
I donated today 12/8/22 at 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm, 888ml of plasma as a new donor third donation. When i left i went to go buy dinner I checked my card and they never put the $100 on my debt card. On top of of lowering their donor reward fees now they are stealing my plasma and not paying me. I called the 800 number for Grifols and they said they would look into it. I will be following up tomorrow with the manager who runs this place because I am really disappointed how unprofessional these people are running th
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
