I've been going here for a few months now & everyone is great except Katerna & Aderana. They both suck at sticking & all they do is run around talking about inappropriate things & laughing and playing. It would be cool if they knew how to do their job. I hate to see them coming or to be placed in their section. I always ask for someone else!! They're just in the way and need replaced!
Everyone is so nice!! The process was quick and painless (be sure to drink lots of water it helps speed things up) I highly recommend coming here. Very clean and organized
This Center is always experiencing some type of issue whether it's a loss of their power, or they're unable to pay their donors. The cards that are issued for payment only work at selected locations and are limited to certain transactions. In addition, the Center uses faulty equipment producing inaccurate results. Some of the equipment that is used to collect plasma malfunctions. The employees need better training and less ?goofing off? during the process of sticking the donor, The Center creates unnecessar
This place is so unorganized!! They are rude and most of all they don't know how to do their jobs?? I've been coming to this location but not anymore because I came in for my vitals and was told my iron was low by Ebony, Meka, and another African American young lady, when I asked them to have someone else look at my iron levels this young man walked in and said yes her iron is fine. This is a reoccurring thing with these three African American girls at this location. I am worried about who else they are tur
Great Service they just never answer the damx Phone and the app isn't working correctly
I tried calling them and they kept hanging up after a few rings. So I walk 45 minutes up there and I called just to see what they are doing behind the front counter. The phone rings they look at it and they hang up when nobody?s in line. Very poor customer service??
Greatest profesional staff carlos adress all my wellness before donation and woow such a great good vibe of staff thank you all keep doing a great job
This is the worst place to go to they all have attitudes and they all for some reason have their noses turned up. It's now what you say it's how you say it. I will not accept people talkin to me any kind of way. I just walked away never will they get my business.
First time I went about 3 weeks ago. A person name Eddie stuck my arm and was digging around in my arm. Then my arm started swelling up and he hurried up and pulled out the needle and put an ice pack on it. He then used the other arm with no issues. I was bruised all the way across my arm. Photo is kind is dark so may be hard to see. Because of this it has been 3 weeks that I have not been able to donate. Instead of blaming it on the facility for their incompetence they blame me. I am the one punished for
I've been donating here for about 6 months or so and I've never had a bad experience. Staff is always really helpful and friendly, as compared to many other places I've donated at in the past. They're also really good about keeping people moving through the check in, screening and donation process to keep everything in a timely manner. Any time I've run into an issue with screening, they've been super helpful and do their best to get it resolved.
This place has some great workers with great energy been there for 2 years I have only one problem the worker that always works the front short heavy set lady with glasses Ms Stacey is a complete you know towards everyone I've asked other donors and co workers most say the same she's flip flop I'm the type of person put me in a room I get along with any circle or if I don't get along with you I'm woman enough to keep to myself or try to fix the situation if it can be fixed some people act like children and
If I could give this place zero stars I would but I want to warn all new ppl that go there .1st they have no wifi . 2nd me and my man (whom didn't want to donate from jump but was trying it for the first time )went and Samantha was being extra telling me I can go back to my seat to tell my man what she could say in 2.5 sec but nooo she sees my man looking good ,with golds in his mouth and she wanted any moment to be in his face in private.I thought I was trippn but then when an older woman had his paper wor
Mr.Bryan made the experience very knowledgeable, quick, and friendly visit for me
If I could give this place zero stars I would!!!! I went into this center 5-15-24 and Samantha at the front desk told me I would be getting 100$ as new donor fees although it had been over a year that I had gone here. After being there over three hours and waiting I then leave the center to only get compensated 40$ I then return to center and she tells me she made a mistake looked up my social incorrectly or looked and the date wrong and I will not be getting 100$!!!!!! She stated ?it was my mistake sorry?
Ive been coming to this center for officially a year. I always have great experiences here. Everyone from front to back is usually very nice, handles me with transparency, dignity, and respect. I love the fact there's Wi-Fi accessible for people like me who want to make their visit comfortable with entertainment on my device. The pay outs, raffles, and bonuses is what keeps me coming as it's very reasonable. Issue previously stated has been resolved???? thank you!
Horrible experience, again, like always. They need to shut the whole place down before some gets hurt. The bathrooms are abhorrent. I've seen people screaming in pain multiple times now. Most of the staff treats you like you are filth under their shoe. God forbid you show up late, you will hear them all complaining about you the entire time, just being annoyed that they want to go home. It's just bad people who really don't care about you, they think they are above everyone else and just show up for a paych
By far the dopest group of people! Aja, Jacqueline, my girl Nay, Ruby, Noe,my guy Jose, Eddily, Brianna, the Manager Jessica,. Felicity! Just exceptional people and I'd recommend this location all day! Just shout out to the whole crew!
The staff and service is perfect BUT They GOING TO FORCE FEED THE APP DOWN YOUR THROAT AND IF YOU GOT A PHONE THAT DOESN'T HAVE WI-FI YOU'RE JUST SCREW YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO SCHEDULE
Their system ?lost? my questionnaire so I had to do it again and wait. Then right before I donate they tell me to go back to the front to wait longer. Have waited more than 2 hrs and I haven't donated yet. And I wasn't the only one that this happened to today. UPDATE: it was 4+ hours and they never paid me for my donation. I called and they hung up on me multiple times.
I have been coming for over a year and I continually go because of Krystal...she's great with making sure you are comfortable
I've been donating here for some time. Everyone's always been kind and professional. Not today, Brandon one of the phlabotomist had a horrible attitude. I asked a question about the machine , he said that's "common sense, duh" . He had a horrible attitude the remainder of the time.
The front desk is not friendly, and for a place that's for "Save a life" you'd think they'd be ALOT more professional and welcoming. The young lady that checked for veins in the back was nice. They need to hire people who are friendly.
I visited your establishment and was highly disappointed by it's reception staffing. A personal opinion and viewpoint should have NO place in a professional setting. I'm not asking to be liked, simply respected. I was turned away from your staff on account of their attitude and was banned from your entire system due to an altercation with a grumpy employee. Unsatisfactory due to an unprofessional attitude. Who can I contact to rectify this incident?
I've been coming to this center for over a year now and I love donating at this center because I'm really satisfied with how all of the staff treat their donors. Shout out to Brianna, Meka, Rubi, Santrell, Amanda, Stacy, Melissa, Jose, Joseph, Noe, Brian, Brandon, Corey, and Victor. They all are the best. They are very nice and cool staff and do very good at their job.
This is the best of the best locations ever. The staff is very nice and they all communicate and help each other as well as the patients. They are very organized and quick to respond to any issues or questions you may have. The compensation is also one of the best. The place is always clean. They have the best all around team. They do Raffles and also have bonuses for bringing more friends. I love saving lives, DO YOU?
This Place Is Awesome!!!! Ebony is especially helpful and kind! She puts a smile on my face every visit! Every personnel there makes me feel Welcomed!
Stacy is amazing. Your entire staff is awesome. I have never come here and had an issue at all. Very clean, nice customer service and the payout is better than the other centers.
In my opinion this is a great place to donate plasma. They are so great, I've never been bruised, or I've never had a bad experience here. They're very professional and try to accommodate there patients. I recommend this place.
I love this center everyone is great. Corey, Megan, Noe, Fran, Rubi, Bre and more... YALL have got to get rid of EBONY! She so nasty and unpleasant to encounter. I've been coming for over a year and not one time has she ever been in a good mood. Donors literally hate to see her sitting in the room when they walk by. Some of us will literally let others skip the line just so they can avoid her (unless she is the only one there). She either hates her job or is just plain miserable on the inside. She's even tr
The white lady at the front desk has the meanest stare and turns around to look at you with a what do you want attitude. Every single time she does that. I'm scared when I see her. Then the people in the back ignore you and make you feel like trash. I keep getting emails to come in only to get ignored as I wait 20 minutes to get a vain check so I just walked out. Pathetic
95% the worst customer service. There's a few really great people but everyone else have nasty attitudes. I've been coming for a couple years but this year I'm not sure what happened because their system has brought them down hill. Waits are longer than they have ever been. It's understandable when its very busy but when it's not it doesn't make sense. They are not meticulous and skip people accidentally. When you need to ask a question they'll see you and not even give you a "I'll be right with you". They
Can you guys please have more than one person doing intake. I got here at 7:45, there was 6 people in front of me and I've been in line for an hour and a half. The woman doing intake has gotten up to leave literally after every single person? not all of us have all day to stand around on their dime.
Quick and easy... In and out since last year after hurricane Harvey. Before it took forever it seemed like to get in and out! Staff is always great here. They know most of their donors by name and not by chart. They now do customer appreciation days 2 times a month.
The staff was in training the guy who stuck my vein said he'd been doing it for less than a few months and was noticeably nervous and unsure but he had another person walking him through it so I was a test dummy for him but he did fine. All in all it was a positive experience for me and the new guy training. Glad I could help the dude get his career training
Friendly environment and well maintained facility with a quick process from walking in the door to sign in, to walking out paid and full clocking in just shy of 2hours At the moment they are paying out the most and have a neat little "Passport" promotion going on where u get different stamps for different activities and bonuses for completing said activities so that's a big incentive to donate here. The problem is, like it always has been, is the attitude of some employees, not all but a select few are just
I love this place and the employees are always caring and kind. It feels like home here they welcome you. I love how good of a worker Chance is he is definitely the life of Grifols. I love helping others and giving back and this center makes it so easy.
Terrible customer service at this location. The Attendants csm in the front most are very rude. Can't fckn smile can't speak to anyone with respect. And don't try and talk to the GM. Lady is so mute she will not help for a second. Stay from them. They should be forced to better their work environment. I'm sure all they care about is their numbers at this location.
These ppl are losers they try they hardest to defer ppl for no reason at all they want ppl to kiss they butt like they own the place do not go here bio life will treat u way better in give u more money 100$ even after ur Finnish with new donor bonus
This is unlike most plasma centers. It's very spacious inside and you must take your temp and sanitize your hands to come in. Wait times so very low. The staff is super kind and all very knowledgeable. This place is very well staffed. A lot of hands on deck to make the process fast. Every girl I've had has done great with the sticks and removing the needle. Fast and painless process!
Very rude. They all dope heads with nasty attitudes they have you watch a video that's animated. When you have listening skills. Manager said get the f. Out of her building. People had been waiting long hours to donate and whn you go to the back they only got one worker while everyone else is standing around eating and talking.
The wait is redicuclously long. I love the center but I can't recommend fellow family and friends. I don't want them getting the feeling I got just to be seen. I couldn't schedule appointment because I was new donor. An I also had to wait to get seen because there were already people with appointments. I got there at 7am got seen after 3pm. Decided to not wait while they told me who I can and couldn't talk to in there like I was a child. To top it off when I finally decided to wait I waited from 2pm till af
Really enjoyed my experience. Cheree, Taylor, Susie, Krystal and Tia are nothing less of exceptional! Shout out to the manager Monique! She and the rest of that management team are doing a great job running the facility, it shows!
People in the front are always friendly and nice taking our blood pressure and temperature. Juan was the person who stuck me today & he is always super nice & attentive if I need anything. Highly recommend this location.
I'm sitting here seriously for over an hour, as a new patient, no one has seen me yet at all, and I'm watching people behind me moving forward. No explanation just attitude. This is the worst plasma place I've seen in Houston. Do yourself a favor and go to a different company. Dirty looks if I ask anything, even the bathroom. Edited 09/21/2023: When I came back: Im not a quitter so I went back. Last time (above) after waiting for 3 hrs I was told because of a dental appointment I'd have to be deferred for
On 06/15/2021 was my first experience donating plasma. I was very impressed with the screening process. It takes time, which was explained to me before I arrived. The employees were very nice and thorough. The lady that put me on the actual machine was new. I wasn't too concerned because another lady (I believe her name was Krystal, not ?? sure though) was diligently supervising the new person. I would recommend this facility and all of the employees. Thank you for the good experience. I will return. Also,
I have been coming here for about 2 years. The staff is very knowledgeable and always nice and professional. I love that I feel like I'm helping people and the money for my time has really helped when I needed just a few extra dollars in my pocket.
Friendly staff. They explain all steps simply and to the point. Compared to other centers Ive been to, they seem to have better stickers with the needle. Only down side is they keep their donation room pretty cold. So even in summer you'll want to wear jeans, and possible bring in a hoodie.
Prepare to be greeted by attitude. I guess the usual guy has been off. I you get the older white lady turn away. She will look deep into your soul with such hate. My apologies for disturbing you at work ma'am I just wanted to ask you a question.
I have been coming here for a while, I just came this bad experience. Well, it happened that I log into the Kiosk at 5:30, and sat down. I received a personal call, and step outside for 2sec, when I came back I was told I lost my space in line and needed to return to the Kiosk. So Ridiculous, I had went outside before and never lost my space. It's now 7pm and still here in the waiting area. Heads up, make sure you tell someone in the reception area, there is NO warning sign saying if you step outside you
Good luck on getting in same day. Also they NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE! So any questions you have or if you missed a call and call back within seconds you will not get any answers. People are so rough never had to deal with them just yanking out the needle so yeah. They are super understaffed and rude because I am assuming they are over worked.
I love this place! I have been donating for going on 3 yrs now and I have not had a bad experience yet. I give reviews based off emotions and they are honest. They always have me in and out so quick. I will never change where I donate. This is my donation home!
All of the phlebotomist here are GREAT and EXCEED the standard they take good care of me, and I would not go to another spot. Grifols along with making it possible for us to help others by being able to donate plasma, you also have been there for me through the hard times and the good times. Although I would prefer that the front desk worker tell me to wait in line than another donor, it is frustrating to have to be corrected by a random donor when I have been coming here since 2012. I have never had a pro
I have been coming here for years since 2014. Threw out that time, my experience here has always been welcoming and friendly, the people that work here, have been here since the very beginning as well, so it's always nice to see them when I come back. You rarely have to wait and any questions you may have they are always happy to answer.
I`ve been going here for about a year and i can say as a honest review I see a major decline in service here. Not so much the actual plasma service but staff wise mainly in the back, the staff complain all the time about not liking being at work or they want a different job. Second, I am a double green and never have problems but lately my sticks have gone HORRIBLE, from no low to barely any flow, i see flirting which is no problem but there is a place and time for that and its not work distracting from wor
The worst plasma center I have ever seen, in 20 years as a donor. For 3 weeks I called but never got an answer, (for new donor questions). Then I leave a review and immediately get some 855 number to call but still had to wait all day for someone to call me back with info. Yesterday, I make the 25 minute drive there, Sunday @ 9am. Walked in to the front counter to sign in as new donor but 2 workers just continued on like I was invisible. A man answered the phone and giggled, I guess because he was so new to
I've been a regular donor for a few years now and their rewards are the best. The staff is very professional and friendly. It is usually hard to reach most offices on the phone and I definitely have more pleasant experiences than not at this location.
People put their shirt outside at 3 am and go back home to sleep get here at 6:30 wait in their car and get mad because they weren't in line lol then they have a high pulse because they wanna argue highly ghetto here. They also need to fire some staff that want to sell me thc pens while sticking my arm
I was only greeted at the entrance and vital check, everywhere else I was not greeted. The donation area is where the people with the worst attitudes work. This happens everything, they just continue to walk past without so much as a hello or how are you feeling. The best part of the process is walking out the front door. 01-16-2021 update, came in to donate because I received a 50 dollar coupon in text message, called to inquire and receptionist said I was eligible. Got here to donate and I'm told I'm no
The assistant manager is the rudest person in this place. I was having an issue requested a manger he just asked me to step outside to talk and he walks back to his office very unprofessional worst place to go will no be coming back because the first words out of his mouth was do you wanna donate. I guess they have an over abundance of donors to threaten people not to donate
If I could rate this place a zero I would, the staff here is very unprofessional and will catch an attitude with you just for asking a question. Don't even bother calling they never answer the phone. They allow for some people to just walk in and skip all the people who actually sign in and wait their turn, the workers don't seem to mind or care. Also they just hire anyone to work here, very unprofessional to be honest.
This place is awesome. All the staff is extremely nice and very helpful. They've always gotten 5 stars for cleanliness but they get 100 because they go the extra mile since Covid 19. My visits are truly a delight simply because the staff at this sight is like no other. ??????????
The employees here make you forget that a needle is going in your arm and make the whole experience comfortable. The building is well kept clean and take measures when it comes to COVID-19. Mask is required for everyone?s safety. I honestly do recommend coming here.
I changed to this location about 5 years ago. The few people that have survived the high turnover and are still here, I bow too. As with any other job, there will always be some employees that will get away with minimum effort and a lot of attitude! Management is ok with that, not much of anything on their end. I would like to point out two employees, who on my last visit ( Tuesday the 18th) went above and beyond. Even though there was a lot of pressure due to the usual low staff, the service from CJ and Ci
I've only donated two times. Though the staff is very kind; I still have not received my compensation for my second donation. Every time I call the card it says I have a zero balance and that a credit was scheduled days ago. No one at the office seems to be answering the phone and the card company keeps saying they cannot do anything. I'm glad that my donation will be helping others but also annoyed by them not following through with compensation for the time spent there.
Best donation center. Quick & Easy. Today I felt like a VIP. Krystal & Ebony did an excellent job setting me up. They moved so fast and had everything on point. Samantha also did a good job with my initial screening. Everybody was calm and cool which put me at ease and helps me relax. I've read horror stories from donors but you won't experience that here.
Great environment from time walk in. Josh was very nice and helpful being a new donor here. Krystal & Susan was also very friendly and interactive, they are great Phlebotomists and I didn't feel the stick at all even though have previous scar tissue. Will definitely be returning.
DMV environment. No efficiency at all. Was told they were short staffed after waiting 2 hours. Then was told they had me on the "wrong list" when my name was finally called. They then told me they would call me when I could come in. After 3hrs I was called and came back in. Their tech told me to pump my hand and he briefly looked focandidate. I got asked repeatedly if i had ever donated before ( i have probably 3 doz times) After he couldn't find it I was told I wasn't a canidate. From 7:30am-3pm what a was
Lacking communication with patients or costumers. Puting yourself in other people's shoes is real important in this field. Treat people like you would like people to treat your grandmother in this type of situations. Some people are good but the leadership is lacking on high standards. Some of the staff are awesome and superstars in the medical field. So thank you and I appreciate yah. Cool.
This place is good at getting you in and out as fast as possible. The wait time for new donor is about 2-3 hours. Everyone is pretty cool only one guy I don't like but screw him you might not even run into him.
Everything would be excellent if the staff wasn't so slow. They seem unorganized on getting you started and taking you off the machine. No reason for it to take a hour or more to get it done. You should only get better as you go on with your job not worst. ??
Honestly you shouldnt get any stars. Only for cleanliness maybe.. What's the point of setting appointments when you still have the customer wait more than 30 mins everytime. And if a customer isnt here for there appointment time they should be called to the kiosk before a person has been sitting in your lobby waiting passed their time already . I couldnt post without a start but that's for cleanliness
Overall an amazing staff especially Rebecca the people in the front and most of the people on the back. First time I had a great experience. Except for Susanna aka Susie she was very disrespectful and rude. An ugly personality.
In August 2023, the American Red Cross implemented the FDA?s updated final guidance regarding an individual donor assessment for all blood donors regardless of gender or sexual orientation. This change eliminated previous FDA eligibility criteria based on sexual orientation. THIS CLINIC BREAKS THE LAW BY NOT ALLOWING TRANSGENDERS, GAY, OR BI-SEXUAL PEOPLE TO DONATE PLASMA. THEY PRETEND TO NOT BE BREAKING THE LAW BY TELLING YOU THEY CANNOT FIND YOUR VEINS DURING THE VEIN CHECK OR ANYTHING THAT THEY DEEMED WO
The wait is horrible here! I got here today at 7:30am didnt get called for the finger stick til 9:30. Then sat in the back waiting for a recliner til 11:00. Now i am waiting to be stuck. They have plenty of beds but no staff to manage them. They need more staff and better management that can keep staff! This is ridiculous! It should not take this long to do a 45 minute donation. All this for $20! Poor management, lack of employees and when you call the corporate office to complain they do NOTHING!!!! And no
This is not a great place to donate. I had a bad experience long ago because the lady that stuck my with the needle was rough. I tried to talk to one of the managers and they had an attitude. We exchanged words and they placed a label on name so that I can't donate. The staff was very rude and I didn't like the fact that they didn't have consideration for my body.
It was quick and easy. Staff was nice. A little cold. I would definitely suggest you bring a blanket. But overall a little extra cash is never a bad thing
I go to this place like twice a month. They are very rude and it can be very slow sometimes not to mention the staff acts like they don't know what they are doing every time they always have to go and get someone else. I went there about two months ago and this African guy stuck the needle in my arm the wrong way. After a while it started hurting and i looked down my arm was swelling up and blood was coming back out. With that being said i couldn't donate for a month because my arm was bruised so bad becaus
Okay so I've been up to this on 4 different occasions. The first time it was middle of the day and they said the wait for a new donor would be 5-6 hours just to see me. The second time I went up there, I waited 3 1/2 hours just for them to tell me I couldn't donate because of a previous medical issue. I told them it wasn't anything serious but I will go and get a doctors note. I then went and got a doctors note and dropped it off (3rd visit), just so they can tell me ?the doctor that reviews the papers does
For a plasma center they are actually really fast! People are friendly, and they try and get you in and out. Donation payouts change monthly so make sure you pay attention. First time donation is definitely going to take a few hours so go as early as possible.
They would get five stars if the wait time was shorter. But however they have friendly and caring staff. Teylor in particular is very friendly, she always keeps a smile on her face and is eager to get the job done. Shauna the phlebotomist is very caring. She's very gentle and goes beyond to ensure comfort. I'm somewhat proud to donate at Biomat.
The employees have a huge issue with changing their gloves. Techs have come up to me with dried blood or Iodine stained on them. Been coming here for about a month. K.H Kristina has been so unprofessional with everything. I asked her questions she rolls her eyes as if I am bothering her from sneaking to her private closet to send a text. This is my last day coming to this place. Why do mangers hire such childish workers who laugh and play all day.
My experience here is amazing I've been going there for almost 3 years already they're clean their respectable they're friendly they're fast I love it I recommend this place to everybody
I've been coming here since 2018. I enjoy donating and helping other's out however I can. But coming here is like going to hangout with friend's. I really appreciate CJ, Quintin and Susan. They are awesome at what they do and help the time pass.
Staff is great and super friendly, but sometimes I'll be waiting 3 the 4 hours with hardly anyone in here. Need more staff
My experience there was very good All the people were so kind and nice that asked me what's okay they were very concerned at all times even during the time I was stoned I wonderful atmosphere and enjoyable people
OK so I was a bit scared to come here because of all the bad reviews. Granite I've only come twice, but both experiences were perfectly fine. Y'all have to think, there's a ton of people that show up in the morning. Do y'all really think your going to get out fast? Umm no! The thing is is that when I go see my primary care physician I sit for hours and I had an appointment. I've been to my regular Dr at 10:30 with an appointment and didn't get out till 5:15. This is an office with NO APPOINTMENT SCHEDULE. I
I have been coming to biomat for 2 years and my favorite phlebotomist is Krystal. She has always been kind caring and gentle. I have never had a bad experience with her in all that time. I could only wish all of the staff worked as hard as she does. She runs her station and is always helping others with there's. She shows respect to all that shes around even her co workers don't show the same I hope that she will continue to work here for as long as I continue to donate.
I have been coming to this center for well over 20+yrs. The staff members have ALWAYS BEEN GREAT with the exception of today. I asked Lisa(Center Manager) for a bottle water. Instead of politely telling me THEY DONT PROVIDE. She rudely told me NO! Stund I said excuse Me? She told me No again. I said ok, than preceeded to walk away. When she asked me , FOR WHAT?. I looked at her confused, & told her BECAUSE I'm thirsty. She turned and walked away from me. I let it go...later I was in a booth getting m
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
