I had a great experience at the plasma donation center thanks to Nichole! She really knows her stuff?she didn't even have to read anything, which made the whole process fast and smooth. I accidentally wore a long sleeve shirt, not thinking, and she went out of her way to give me a shirt so they could still check my vitals and I could donate. She truly goes above and beyond. Nichole has an amazing attitude, a strong work ethic, and made me feel totally comfortable. She's the best!
I been going here for about a year great service in and out never had a problem great staff won't go no where else sorry people you had bad experience just give them a chance and save lives.Thank you Grifols for all the wonderful staff members 5 star rating keep up the great work.
Most of the people in the front make you feel uncomfortable and not welcome. However in the back. All the phlebotomy know what they are doing and it makes for a painless and fast experience. Also somehow more ghetto than csl or biolife. Clean your bathrooms regularly please.
If I could give no stars I would, I have been sitting here as a new donor for nearly 3hours. every staff disappeared and when they come to help they only help the existing donors they literally had a conversation in my face and asked each other if I was a New Donor, and they laughed and said ?I don't know?. Then proceeded to walk to the back. They are very rude and doesn't care which shows, they only showed me one rule ?they can turn you down whenever for whatever? this place needs new staff and management
I was able to donate ? sat down in the chair to get stuck somehow the machine had my name programed so i wasnt able to sit in another chair because the employee push the wrong button they gave me 10dollars for the inconvenience and told me to come back tomorrow I will never come back here again SO INCONSIDERATE could've gave me full pay they don't know what I had to do to get up here
Temp was high asked for different temp gun they use digital and they wouldn't wasted hr and half lazy workers don't want to be there
Workers in the front are extremely rude..most have attitude ??they never stuck me wrong in the back but I hate going through the process in the front customer service 0/10
Good staff & customer service very professional workers buildings always clean I would recommend donating here.
I went through 2 days of preliminary but was told to leave the prescription information and call back and 10 minutes but no one answered the phone. So the next day I spoke to a nurse and she said no one can give me information over the phone but I was in person 2 days plus 3 hrs and no one could help me nor have time. This $10,000 competition is only if you're 100 percent healthy and if the workers want to help you donate as a new donor. If they give you attitude and the run around and no heads up on medica
Donated and was taken care of so well.. ive donated other locations this ones the best!! Was the very last donor, stayed past their hours of operation and they didnt make me feel like an inconvenience at all!
Man good people here no 4hr wait ask for naja
I have received the run around from the employees. I was told to donate twice in a week then when I try for my second donation in the week (I donated on Mon, refused service two days later) then I was told my days were locked in on Mon and sat however NO ONE ever told me anything like that.. just unprofessional I would not recommend unless you have no other choice unless you like getting the run around.that is
Very professional place to donate plasma. They are extremely organized and when it's not too busy they get you in and out! My first time donating here the employee Mesha assisted me with my intake process which allowed me to be in and out within 2 and half hours.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Friendly, knowledgeable and caring staff. Wait times vary according to time of day, I've been told. I've gone twice, both in the early morning and was in and out in 2 1/2 hours or less. Make sure to eat a healthy meal the night before and very minimal the morning of, preferably 3 hours prior to donating. This makes the donation process go much quicker. Additionally, my compensation took no more than 30 minutes to be deposited.
I have been going to this place off and on for over two years and will no longer go there. Most of the time when your done they wrap the puncture area loosely and you'll end up bleeding all over yourself or not pay you for hours or up to a day later. My last experience I was turned away due to a sweat bump on my bicep from sweating while I was at work. This place is not professional at all. The Asian guy is rude and is usually talking smack about other donors with the ladies up front. I also called the numb
This place is as bad as the reviews say. The women in the front do nothing but talk to each other rather than taking care of their clients. That nurse VICTORIA just runs around the front distracting the workers, haven't seen her do one thing productive. She give?s attitude to anyone in the building. DRIVES UP the bp and pulse of patients just to kick them out. The back workers are fine. The front staff are driving this center into the ground. They make the rules and threw out the corporate rules. Non stop c
HANDS DOWN one of THE BEST plasma donation centers in the area. Undeniably! Now, I'm not sure if ALL Biomat locations are the same as far as fees and policies go but I would assume so, I don't see why different locations for the same companies policies would change, and I'm not SURE that all locations staff members preform and work at the same level of professionalism as this location in inkster but as far as compared to any other plasma center, Biomat is undeniably top tier the best center you can choose t
Them 2 Females working the front Counter should be in the back somewhere away from the general public!!. Them attitudes will turn people away and have everybody blood pressure high!. It's no reason I should hear 2 Employees talking about "Attitudes" while I'm on the Kiosk!. I hear they whole conversation about how they don't have attitudes But it may sound like it because it's early and they at Work ?? Before this, I gave this place nothing But Rave Reviews for they Customer Service. And I wish I knew they
I come here regularly. I hate to say this but management need to hire more people. This is by far one of the worse place to donate plasma that I've donated. Very rarely they would be fully staff. Management need to improve on quality speed. Faster = more money. 3 people on floor on Friday at 4:22? Laughs on grifols.
I donated today did not receive pay on the card. I use to go here years ago only 1 time didn't pay and they fixed it in a hour. But today my 2nd donation as a new donor $150 they don't give me. Called for 5 hours after, left messages. No answer or call back and still no pay. I can deal with all of the other stuff people complain about there, that's the way plasma centers are. the staff IS nice. But not paying someone then not answering phone or returning messages all day is not ok. I'll call tomorrow if I d
My overall experience at this plasma center has been very good. However when I donated on July 5th I had a problem getting paid I was told by a very rude Staff member in a nonchalant way that there was a problem with the system and that she didn't know when I would be paid It wasn't what she said that bothered me it was the way she said it as if it didn't matter. She went on to say that I signed a document giving them 24 hours to pay . I told her I signed no such document and if so I'd like to see it. She w
1 star is very generous considering the service I've received here, this establishment doesn't even deserve 1 star!!! This plasma center was the absolute most unprofessional that I have ever been to! The staff was not helpful and very rude, the pay for the plasma is very low and the wait time is very long, social distancing is not properly in place and the bathrooms were not sanitary. 0/10 would I ever recommend this place, after I was stuck with the needle I was left unattended for a very long time to the
I've donated at BioLife, Octapharma, CSL, and now Grifols. Honestly out of the 4, I prefer Grifols. Here's the thing, you have to be aware that your first donation is gonna be at least 3-4 hours. If you're not ready for that then don't go. My first donation at Grifols was really easy and comfortable, just very long. The staff were better than any other center, and the actually building seems really clean and like it was recently remodeled. I say all this because I was expecting the worst based on the review
Fantastic place to donate. I've been to the other centers and they just treat me like I'm a number. This place treats me like I am a person. I feel like they see me. Very nice staff.
11/9/21. So I donated today. An hour later no $ on card. Tried to reach the receptionist and management several times between 5:30pm-7pm est and no answer?.. Not cool whatsoever!!!! Update 11/13/21 So I go in for second visit of week today and the same thing happened. I spoke to staff whom insisted it would be on card tonight and once again same mess occurs. After this week coming up I will no longer attend this location......
As a 1st time donor not impressed. While donating the employees were loud and complaing about personal issues. (One the was sticking said he dont want to be bothered and another talking about being in a bad mood because of a car accident) Halfway through my donation they had to fix the needle then ended up switching arms. Finally finished. Went back two days later with very light yellow in the spot where i donated and they told me i had to come back in 2-3 days. Waste of time. They wont get to use my plasm
There is absolutely NO SENSE OF URGENCY. I sat down with 1 donor ahead of me and it has been over 20 minutes that I've been sitting here. There are about 5 to 7 available phlebs here. Why sit a donor down and the machines are not set up? No sense of urgency whatsoever. It takes me 32 minutes to donates. Why am I sitting at a machine for over 20 minutes.? This is terrible customer services and I know the donor times that each company tracks are terrible. TJ is the G.O.A.T here!!
I do not recommend this plasma center to anyone that has a rare (rh negative) blood type you will be deferred indefinitely and they do not explain that when you go for first donation. And if you referred someone and are deferred because of your genetics which is out of your control you do not get your bonus I have referred 4 different people and was denied a bonus due to genetic traits. It is high disregard with this company to your health..
This place is clean, but the employees are extremely rude, hold inappropriate conversations in front of potential donors, arguing back with the clients, as well as being unprofessional, in a professional environment, amongst people who are donating their PLASMA, to keep the employees in Business. Nicole, the nurse has a very nasty attitude, talks with sas, towards people, who they need to stay employed, the employees pick and choose who they want to PASS. The employees here also, violate client HIPPA, by ac
This is supposed to be a great opportunity to help people in need of Plasma. However, when the workers are disrespectful, angry, and ignorant. It's impossible to give the much needed plasma. The workers, management included, forces New Donors to seek better services elsewhere.
My experience was exceptional. The people were kind, curious, professional, listened to me. I was kind of afraid, they made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions. It took me awhile, but they were patient. I would recommend this place to everyone.
Forms online have errors that will not allow you to submit anything. Tried calling the center, got stuck listening to a recording go on and on about what plasma is, what to excpect and what to eat and drink. Then was told to hold for someone. No one to pick up the call so I guess they dont want new donors! Place seems like an absolute joke.
Very unprofessional I called first to make sure they where accepting new donors and was told not until after 10:00am.I came in before they closed at 4:00pm and I was turned around and told that they ended taking new donors early due to short staffing and staff leaving early.Very inconvenient and inconsistent will not be coming back after this terrible experience.Nobody was available to screen me and music was blasting up front.Ill just continue to go to octapharma at least I won't have to worry about being
Doesn't pay enough seems they pay less more progressively for donations. Especially for medical mishaps. Little to no care or contributions. But a few kind good hearted employees
They treat you good but they take more plazum from bigger people and only pay out the same as little people and I don't think that is good
Honestly I've only been to one other plasma donation center CSL in Lincoln Park and if you have the option choose this one everytime drastically nicer staff was very friendly and sociable and the initial payment of 100 first donation was really great.
I have been here since 10am this morning it's now 3pm and I am just now getting stuck. Very disrespectful here and keeps calling me a name I don't go by I get misgendered and everything. I will never come back here ever again u should find away to use preferred names here for trans ppl. Get to the back and dude wants to move my needle and put it deeper and made it very uncomfortable I will not return at all
The woman at the desk was polite but fyi no new donors 2 hours before (which isn't mentioned anywhere on the site) the incorrect closing time of 730. There are so many other plasma places too.....waste of time and money
They were very rude to my husband and I and did not care about us at all and still denied 4 times to us it just it seemed it like the color was the problem... Sad I'd, definitely request cls!
I used to love going there. But after a year donating and them thinking I took metformin, they dropped me. Coincidentally when it was my biggest bonus day. They said get proof from my dr that I dont use metformin which I did, and just because I stood up to them about messing over me 3 x when it was bonus time, now theyve banned me!! I thought no 1 priority is saving lives? Very sad they ended up this way. My plasma could save lives and they are cheating me and others.
I would give five stars as one year ago it was very good there clean helpful staff and you got finished quite quickly however the last couple times I was there they were very short of staff and the staff they did have didn't seem to know what they were doing my tourniquet was so tight my whole arm and hand was numb it took me about 20 minutes to get someone to even look at me and I was poked a couple times and bruised previously that had never happened I hope they get some good help back in there
Alittle background over the past couple of years I gave been a donor with CSL octapharma biolife never had an issue at all but I was not able to donate here because they were unable to verify my social security number however the male nurse or whatever the job description is who was doing my intake asked if I had any piercing or tattoos he made a face like I was lying when I said I didn't have any he then circle the thing on the paper that says they reserve the right to refuse to let someone donate for any
I have donated 4 times now and have been able to get in and out in a reasonable amount of time and none of my pokes have hurt yet.
Great place! Friendly staff and you get to make money helping people!
I went to the This location to donate yesterday I went through everything donated Enough to go back home And come to find out When I got back home That I did not get compensated for donated I tried to call Back but I was too late this place is by far the worst donation place I have been too.
I would give 0 stars but it won't let me the staff was rude and they need to revise their little rule book cuz no where in it does it say that if you don't smell like sunshine and daisies you can't donate it does say you can't have saggy pants and I saw 3 of those and they donated they are also the cheapest plasma center almost every one else pays almost double what they do for a first visit I will absolutely not be going back and I certainly do not recommend this place to anyone
I have always received my payment almost a.s.a.p so I'm pleased and there always on there job???? I'm asking next time what's up though it was 5th or 6th donation only received $100 I thought I had 8 donations of $125 a pop, I was to tired today, 12hours on my own job, ttyl fam
This place is so unprofessional it is not even funny. Management is terrible. They do not even care about donors. everytime I donate I hear negative things about other employees. If you like drama and high school drama donate there
I've been sitting in the chair to donate for a half an hour looking at nothing being done. And it's not a busy day yet. Really disappointed ??. I came in the begining because they were fast and professional but now it might be time to find another donation center.
Rude and lazy staff. Refused new donors stating they were to busy but the lobby was completely empty. Asked to speak to the manager but she was clearly to lazy to assist me since she never came. Horrible experience !
Terrible terrible terrible wait times. Pay is never added to ur card directly like csl centers. I can tell you about everyone's personal life here becuase all they do is stand around and talk.
Love the experience with staff only wish I could come back i had fun making money and saving lives but now I have to take a test and send to the lab ?? that's bums that's going to take a long time but other than that it's a nice time
This place is the definition of inkster ugly??.they ghetto ash ,if you're new you have to wait hours to be seen while others are going before you . They are rude ash ,you don't talk over someone while they're trying to explain.all they do is sit around and gossip and they scary ??????literally talk about the people as soon as they leave .y?all need to be closed ????
I will never come back to this place staff is so rude and disrespectful. They don't want to answer questions when you ask them about parts of the machine I will never referred anyone I know ????????
Grifols(on Michigan in Inkster) is the best when compared to other plasma donating centers(CSL, and Octapharma). For this Grifols has a friendly staff, plus they attend to you in a short amount of time while you sit(not stand), furthermore a kiosk is always available, not to mention they give the biggest bonuses & the biggest new membership pay, and they don't pay you according to weight(they pay everybody the same). But other plasma centers(Octapharma, and CSL) have employees that are mean & unprofessiona
On my way back again !!!! The staff in the front are AMAZING ..I MEAN AMAZING .DeontaeLawrence ...and Takita ...and the other Gentleman in the front when you walk in ... this felt like home ??.
Let's just say I'm not impressed. What an embarrassment I have joy been screened yet, and am currently awaiting to still be seen. The staff walks around aimlessly and has no sense of urgency.
Very Respectful and friendly staff, the bathrooms are always clean and they are big on privacy? I love donating here
Awesome!!!! Outstanding staff very polite, great customer service. During pandemic no long lines. GREAT PAY!!!! For new donors.
I come in for 2 1/2 hours do do a screening to donate. I walked outside to my car when i was never told i couldnt and got sent home for that. Thanks for wasting my life thats inkster places for you
Thank you for letting me know that they don't pay i will find another plasma center I was just bout to switch to here till I read the reviews bout not getting $$$$p$$$pay pay
Rude and unprofessional I was told after 2 hrs that they have a weight limit and I need to go to another facility that was much future away but not in the book of paperwork said anything about a maximum weight I asked why it wasn't in any of the paperwork I read they respond that it was what it is and they didn't have to put that in the paperwork but clearly said you have to be 110lbs to donate I've donated at other centers without any problems
The people are real friendly and professional the place is always clean in a jam good music and everybody's doing a good thing it's a win-win and the money is good
Welp I came here once and I am going back today in if you ask me any place like this there is going to be a wait this process is just that a process and it's depends on the person! Please try to be patient guys
Every time i go I jut feel the energy from the staff lawerence and juni are the only too I let stick me good job guys they deserve a raise
Because I when there and the lady say u may not be seen so. I like we come a long way yall tell me I cant be seeing that wrong.
The staff is friendly and amazing and the center is clean. But some techs need more training in the back.
First time was a breeze I guess I came in on the right day !! Most helpful and nice staff EVER
I LIKE THE PLACE. NEVER HAVE TO WAIT TOO LONG, SOME CUTE CHICKS ON THE FLOOR SMOOTH PROCESS EVERYTIME. FASHO!
That guy junii need a raise every time I comic in he's calm and collect there's never a problem
Cleanest donation I've ever been to. Also there are never a lot of people here.
The Red Cross does not discriminate as to who donates blood these people do I'm not quite sure this is illegal! That means this is discriminatory!
Ashley the nurse was and is very helpful. She is awesome. Thank you.
This place is a joke the people are rude the staff is unhelpful and there's a little Asian guy is just racist it was possible to give this place zero Stars I would they bruised my wife stuck her six times in one vein
Just opened two months ago. The staff is very professional and efficient, the experience is very comfortable
Never go here or else
This place has awesome staff friendly services it's more of a family feeling kinda place.
If you donate twice in one week you get an extra 40 dollars
The staff is dope and the place is perfect for all to donate
What happened to the 100$ feb. Bonus that was promised and adertised. I heard it was axed from staff.Thats not right
Hezara and josie and were finaminal both super professional and polite as they come.
The best donation experience I've ever had.. thank you for the opportunity.
So unprofessional and rude it is surprising it's a business
Very polite very professional.
Absolutely wonderful staff, nice facilities, i highly recommend...
Waste of time deny because of medications that are not on their list to deny me for wasted two and a half hours of my time uncompensated time think of this before you waste yours
Keshia is amazing so nice an professional love her
My boyfriend donated and been waiting over 24hrs to get paid!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
