Always enjoy my experience coming here. The staff treats you like family and are always very attentive, Even when busy the wait time is never too long. My veins are usually difficult to work with but there is always somebody that can help me out. Eloisa , zuly, isamar and vani always do a great job.
I really don't think it fair that I get deferred for 56 days because some of them don't know how to stick people so I miss getting the bonus because of their negligence. I have been going almost a year now and this has never happened before. I have been going to the kissimmee center all this time. So be careful on who sticks you. I should have gone to one of my regulars this wouldn't have happened. I depend on the extra money to pay my bills. I am the only one working in my household.
Excellent service! It was my first time donating plasma and I was nervous, but one of the staff got me laughing and feeling like I was at home. The man who did the intake treated me like family. I HIGHLY recommend them.
I have donated here for years, but I have had enough! This place is a JOKE! The employees are so rude & incompetent!!! They switched over to new management a few years ago & things have gone downhill ever since. I highly recommend against donating here!
Grifols plasma center has always been a big support and their work as always is extraordinary. I thank Monae and the rest of the crew for doing a great job always. Keep up the good work!
The waiting time is insane. You can be waiting at least an hour before your donation. The excuse its only short staff ?? The phone is just a joke, you never can get an answer. They don't respect the order of the patients because sometimes they don't check the number in the bins or for another delay you can be the last person even when you arrive before than the others. Also, some machines don't work correctly. Customer service is poor, they look like they are not happy in the work environment. You can see a
Ups n downs to this location overall good place to donate bad place to depend on for important things that have to be taken care the day of.
I'm here today "Grifols Plasma" in Winter Haven FL formerly known as" Freedom Plasma" I've only been participating as a donor for a year and my doctor has been contacted over three times when it was freedom plasma. Now up under this company in this location in Winter Haven I'm having the same problem with the staff. I was trying to get in contact with the owner because my doctor said that she would make a personal visit herself because the staff is being ran by another personal employing people under "TikTo
This review will cover more on the lack of communication & courtesy between GRIFOLS & their customers. From the time I arrived around 3:30pm today, I alongside other customers found paper signs explaining the location was closed due to a AC issue. Apparently, it was going on for over 2 hours yet I called at 1 & was told to come in. Accidents happen, but the courtesy that this location showed was barely existent. A full employee team was still visible inside, but instead of approaching customers to explain
When I went in to do my plasma donation twice, they did a quick poke to run a sample blood test, which supposedly cleared me to do plasma donation. Upon going back the third time to try and donate, I was told I was infected with something. I was perfectly fine and healthy before they poked me. These people infected me with a virus!!!! Shut them down!!!!! They've been playing with my blood for the last three weeks and sampling it and keep sending me certified letters with different results
Yesterday I received 2 calls from this facility, the interaction went like this. Grifols: Whats your name? Me: uhhh angel Grifols: oh hi angel we are having a promotion of 100 for first time donation of returning donors. Me: okay, just one donation? Grifols: yeah, would you like to set up an appointment? You can come in today or tomorrow. Me: okay, today is too late but tomorrow I'll be there. Grifols: we will see you tomorrow. Me: okay, bye This morning I got here at 6:30am, I am second in the line. 7am
Well I'm very pleased with the service very friendly in the cleanest biolab there is in town. Thank you to all helping others. Donations are lifesaving
Monae helped me out and gave me a great understanding of what they do here they also made my process fast and easy.
The experience waz wonderful thanks to Monae she made it easier for me through my while experience she deserves a raise for sure
This center is great. They have the best customer service especially Zuly. Alisha is my favorite phlebotomist
(re-update) (2 back to 4) they have gotten better at making sure people aren't on there phones and such. it's still a place I myself am carful of as some donors will have big attitudes sometimes. it's only fair to update the review to reflect the team trying to help keeps thing show they should) ((UPDATE)) (from 4 star to 2) (since when did they change the rules to allow donation people to have food in the facility? on top of that, why are people allowed to play loud AF videos with cussing and such? its sl
Don't donate here they are the worst, they are all rude and unprofessional, they don't smile they don't greet you and I always dealt with it and never had too many issues til today the manager (male) taps me pulls me aside and says I can't smell like smoke when I donate, literally everybody in the area smokes cigarettes and there is NO policy against smoking cigarettes to donate! It shouldn't matter what anyone smells like! Then they accused me of smoking weed and I don't ! And either way it shouldn't matte
Monae gave me a great experience! Zuly stuck me and I felt nothing, highly recommend!
The staff was very nice, did everything they could to make me comfortable when i started feel flush from not eating enough beforehand. Glad i could make a difference in other people's lives.
I being coming to this place for 3 years and nothing changes...a lot of the staff are real nice :but a few of them are nasty, for example if they don't like you they avoid you for not to be call so the next person has to call you, they like to get involved on their own conversation for long time and the donors have to wait for they sweet time to take care the people, nothing personal but is reality
Incredible place to donate. Ivania did a great job taking care of me today!
I'm usually a regular at this plasma center but recently on August 26th they've changed how much you donate by adding height instead of the usual weight. Now I'm giving 1000ml instead of 800ml when the money is still the same!!!! How???? I'm sure the company is getting more $$$ from whoever they supply to so why not pass it on to us who literally have to use our bodies to provide!!!! This is nothing but corporate greed and I wish they will see a significant decline in plasma donors and either increase the p
Great location. They are shortstaffed, but they truly hustle to get everyone in. The staff really tries to take care of people who walk in with random questions and anything out of the ordinary. While they are super busy, they are still very nice.
Don't come here. They turn you away for prescription marijuana. Never happened anywhere else I've gone but this place. Only, they tell you this after going through the ENTIRE process. Wasting hours of your time and life. I took time off work because I never can get here in time after work for the long new donor process and thought this could be helpful long term. They wasted hours of my life only to have me leave withiut aby type of conpensation. Do not go here. You'll be screwed over. Nowhere in their
I went for almost two years and stopped in the last month or two because of how incredibly long everything took. For awhile I was in and out in an hour and a half but the last few months I consistently waited 45 minutes for screening, watching several staff in the back not helping people, followed by sitting in the bed sometimes for 30 minutes before being helped at all. The pay is good, most the staff is nice, and it's generally comfortable. But I don't have three hours to commit every time I want to go.
I go here every week. The pay is great. I came from clearwater where they give $35 which is ridiculous! The wait time is most of the time 10 min or less. Clearwater its 4 hours or more. From day one I've had no issue with any employee or with anything else here! I do wish it wasn't so damn cold in there. But I understand it's for germ spread etc. I just bring my blanket and jacket;) I will definitely go again...tomorrow;)
The personal treat you as an animal. They do not treat you with respect. Dont have the patient explain to you. They are hiring people without any experience that make you go over and over for the same process. The supervisor at 2pm on april 25 is the worst that can happen to you if you go there. Try to evoid her.
Unprofessional, took time to talk to coworkers and outside visitors while people were waiting. Was told that current paystubs were not valid to use as proof of residence even though their website states that pay stubs are valid. Was told to have to bring in an unopened utility bill from the mail to be able to prove residency even though my W-2, paystubs and bank statements were with me and available. Would not tell anyone to go here in the future.
I've donated in Pennsylvania & Orlando ? this location in Kissimmee is the best from Staff to environment. My favorite staff is Alicia she's great I love her personality! Everyone is nice & does their jobs well. Keep up the great work!
The staff is awesome. They're very professional but treat you like family with pleasant greetings and smiles. The facility is always so clean. Thank You to Ms. Shania for all always making my visit so much fun and easy. The rest of the staff... keep on rocking you will continue to see me in the future
Dont know how a company needs appointment only and to add om that they said even though i waited a year
The office is nice and clean. If the workers would do less talking at the vitals intake window, I believe the line would move a little faster. Rosie is great!!!!! I really love how she takes her time with you. She always checks on you as well. Overall, this is a great center.
3rd time donating. Short girl about 5?0 mid 20s. I forgot to ask for her name. Best one they got ! Even with a handful of donor. She notice there was a problem with my blood flow because the needle wasn't put properly the first time by another employee. While the first employee was looking at me from far didn't even bother to check what was the problem.
I had an excellent first experience! I was nervous at first but the staff was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable. The facility was clean and sanitized which was a huge plus. Yes the process is time consuming but well worth it! The pay is the highest in the area. I would highly recommend this location!
Just 4 ?. These people disperse molecules into the atmosphere. Bring a now-or-later. For Gotham!!!
UPDATE: Someone who donates here just couldn't believe the way I was treated because she always been treated so nice. Somehow she made me an appt and so I decided to give it a try once more being hesitant and I must say the young lady was very nice and explained everything in detail. Place is very very clean and the Team who attended me from then on were absolutely amazing! Kudos to management who also responded to the review! I recommend if your thinking of donating you should!
They told me my veins were too small and I didn't drink enough water. Even though I did. I drove 30 minutes just to be turned away. They deferred me for 7 days. Waste of time and gas. I think it's incompetence to be honest.
Great place to donate plasma But one day you come in it's nice and cool in here they'll have fans on and everything and there's days you come in when it's 80-90 degrees outside and can't feel the ac at all and I've been denied 3 times because of high body temp it's kinda hard not to get denied for my donation because of high body temperature when the ac don't feel like it's on at all No consistency with the AC at all
Well, I enjoy coming to Biomat. The Staff is always friendly and ready to help whenever and the facility is really clean. The service is always fast and that is highly appreciated! One employee, Marissa always is always energetic and ready to work and makes the process quick and easy! I will definitely come back soon!
Maria was an amazing technician and did a great job. I am scared of needles and didn't feel a thing when she pricked me? definitely coming back. And thank you Kasey Brown for recommending me to such a great place.
I made the decision to do this for the first time and the way I was received by Grace Fernandez I was very pleased with her professionalism. I also notice employees like Ileana Santiago and Stefania , they love helping people and the way this girls took care of me, make me want to come back and donate for a great cause as well as getting compensated.
I just donated for the 2nd time today and I am pretty pleased with the experience! The reason why I give it 3 stars is because the first day they almost turned me away because they said they could not find my veins and I had to be checked with 3 different people until one phlebotomist said it was no problem. Seeing so many different opinions about my veins got me worried and scared about having potential issues or pain when donating but it went incredibly smooth. Today as I got in, the process way faster an
Customer service is good but their wait time is ridiculous! Only two people on the floor sitting patients while the others don't assist In order to hurry the processing for everyone else . They could effectively fix this in ofer to speed up things . Instead of standing around they could be helping on the floor.
This place is horrible, please explain why after a year of not coming you have to reapply and then after waiting over an hour they tell you that you have to wait 2 weeks to donate cause of protein levels from a year ago. They don't even have a valid answer themselves. I'm just gonna tell everyone I know to not waste thier time. there's only like 2 decent people out of the whole staff .
Always too many donors and not enough staff to handle them all. it can take up to a hour in a half or more from when you finish The questionnaire at the kiosk.till you have to be checked out to see if you can donate. then you have to wait again to get on the bed to donate and it's worse on the days donors come for their second donation. So, any given day, you can expect The entire process from beginning to end can take roughly about 3 to 4 hours
My first time. Had to step out mid way of registration where I was told to come back, to answer the 60 questions and the nurse would be right with me to perform a physical. I came back within the hour and arrived over an hour ago. There's only one nurse. No one in front of me and a whole hour later I'm still waiting. I was told I can come back tomorrow yet I'm pressed and cannot come back tomorrow. I explained the nature of the situation and they stated, " we know it's not your fault we only have one n
This place has the most horrid waiting times ever. These places crack me up. They under pay their ?short staff? and lie to you about compensation you'll receive and you end up getting less. Like this company isn't making millions of dollars off of peoples plasma. Pay more to get better employees, and give people the compensation you tell them they're getting.
DO NOT LET THE GUY PHEBOTOMIST PRICK YOUR ARM!!! HE WAS TERRIBLE I BRUISED SO BAD I WAS DENIED FOR A WEEK!!!! However even when I healed and it was a light light still wouldn't even touch me. And after the second time of denying me they wouldn't even bother compensating me. The poor e xcuse of a manager all he could say was oh I'm sorry. ??????
Staff is great. The process was quick and easy. I would have given them 5 stars but they allow people to play offensive music from people in the donate area off their cell phones out loud. Someone should have had him put in earphones. The other people here to donate along with myself didn't seem to happy about that. There are signs not to talk on your phone but offensive music is ok. 8/22/22 1300hrs is when I was there
Very smooth experience for my first time at Biomat, and all of the staff are highly professional and caring. Even got a phone call from them the next day after my first donation to see if everything is okay. Highly recommend this location!
Whenever I donate at grifols my experience is pleasant. The staff there are friendly and efficient. They always make sure I am comfortable and ready to go. I have never donated anywhere else and I don't think I ever need to. You guys are awesome!
I had visited other plasma centers, and by far this location gets a 5 start in many relevant aspect. From the front office staff to the techs in the back, everyone makes you feel very welcome and at ease. Staff is very down to earth but conduct themselves with a great level of professionaliss. They are very consistent and thorough when performing their task which gives a sense of safetiness. I love the fact that they seem to enjoy what they do because they are all always in good spirit.
They are not specific on the information you need to bring. The customer service is horrible. The person who pretended to be a manager or was the has no soft skills. I am in leadership at my job and if I would have responded to a customer the way she did, I would have been fired. Maybe they need a new leader to get them to were they need to be.
I went to donate which I always go any 2 days within the 7 day period, and was told I couldn't donate because my days are Wednesday and Saturday which I was never told that by anyone in the staff, however I realized that today would have been my 7th donation of the month and they were offering a $100 bonus by the end of the month, which would have been today and that is the reason the manager all of a sudden stated that I could not donate and came with the excuse that my days to donate are all of a sudd
I've been going for a while and known how everything works. I couldn't be nicer to the team. But I went to donate Sunday, right before closing time because I couldn't come earlier. But I've done it before. Door was closed at 3.55pm or earlier instead of 4pm. I work retail and have been had to let people in at 6.59 when it closes at 7. It isn't what we like, but as we have the same rules, I have to let them in no matter how busy I may be. Why? We get in trouble if we don't let them in. I don't appreciate tha
I've been donating for almost two years here and a person who didn't know how to inject me left my arm purple and swollen so I couldn't go to work for two days apart from that they didn't let me know that if my arm was purple I couldn't go to donate so I went there twice to waste my time and gasoline the second time I went I had makeup on my arm because it looked like my arm had been hit I have things to do and I have to go to work I don't like having my arm like this and when I got there they said that I
HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! They do not respect your time, even as a non new donor they'll make you sit around 2 hours before they'll hook you up while the employees have 0 hustles and have 15 conversations about lunch rotations, I SHOULDNT INTIMATELY KNOW EVEYONES TIME THEY LEAVE FOR LUNCH. I was there to make money selling blood but my day has value, they don't respect your time at all.
This is the best plasma center in the world! The staff is great, the managers are true to there word. I would refer anybody too visit this business of greatness. And for the record, one of the managers named Dennis, he is excellent. Check them out.
About the fourth time coming to this location and I still was unable to donate. Was sent away the first time because of lack of papers, the second because of a piercing I had gotten about 4-6 months prior and was given a form to turn in on the next visit. I wait about 2-3 hours for a nurse to turn the paper into her. Never got to meet her. Lol instead someone else takes the paper saying she will turn it into the nurse and to come back later or call. I do and it still wasn't done. I assume after 3-4 days it?
NEVER EVER ANYBODY AT THE BOOTHS WHEN THERE ARE 13 people waiting to get taken care of it's Like that everytime I come in an service is slow like They just walk around to rob the clock? Nobody said apply to a job if your not going to put the work in management needs to look for more better candidates to improve on there what you call it service.
I wish there a negative stars this place is horrible I don't understand how I've been eligible to donate four months no deferral now they take a sample and my protein levels are too low for almost a month no communication told me to do a sample to recheck my protein level said they would contact me in seven to ten days went in 11 days latter to find out the same thing I ask why no one contacted me I was told by staff we don't contact you about it but before they did the sample I was advised four different t
I love the staff their very friendly and I love donating it's fast and easy
I been visiting the Grifols Kissimmee location for about 4 months, always had a pleasant experience, until the phlebotomist Paola turned my positive overall experience to the worst, as I was seated to start my plasma donation, she was rude from the start there was no eye contact at all from her part, no greeting at all, as she is about to poke me with the needle without saying a word she grabbed my arm and twisted it to the correct position at no time she asked me to reposition my arm, we are human beings w
Good place to donate. Good staff members. Estefanie in particular is amazing. Highly recommended!!
I've been coming here to donate for about 6 months now. I like knowing I'm helping others while picking up some extra money. Clean facility, friendly capable staff, all-around good experience. I recommend.
This place is no good at all they lie about the bonus so u can just come donate they tell u to do 8 Donation an that you will get A 25$ Bonus but that's a lie because they are denying it to everyone this place is A lie
This location has completely ruined my experience with donating plasma. Aside some of the great faces that I've met here, some phlebotomist are more concerned with chatting with their coworkers and finishing fast rather than treating each patient with the upmost care and attention (as you should when you are literally sticking needles into veins). I was only here for about a month and every time I went, there was usually somebody different. I could honestly say that only one out of the few phlebotomists tha
First problem I had with this location, is the fact that there are no directions or signs posted anywhere for registering. One of the nurses asked me if I could speak English, already assuming I didn't just because I was speaking Spanish to another nurse asking me questions. I gave them my identification and social security card and was treated like an undocumented person. The nurse that took my cards walked away parading them around the other nurses, and questioned my identity. While the nurse took my card
Do not come here. People play their phones on loud right next to you. Even when you tell them to turn it down or put headphones on they won't. Then I ask the employees to do something about it and they don't. Then they have foreign music blasting so loud i can't even here my music or phone with noise canceling headphones on. Then I ask the employee to turn down the obnoxiously loud music coming out of a loud boombox and they tell me no. This place used to be awesome but now its the complete opposite. Will n
This is the best grifols I have ever been to great staff they get you in and out
The staff is very friendly and kind. The facility is always kept clean and they do a great job of following the new COVID protocols. Would recommend this center to anyone that's looking to donate plasma.
Coupon text don't work properly and Manager don't give you the 25 bonus at the moment, they tell you be deposit in 15 minutes, but in reality don't happen, poor management, no answer on the phone plus poor card system
Some of the staff at this center have horrible customer service skills, and the pay out has only gotten worse at this location. Finally moved over to the other Grifols in Oakridge and it is SO much better, more professional, more money, and more efficient.
Been coming here a year now and the staff is wonderful along with the atmosphere. Just wanna thank Josh for always helping me out, you really do a great job man I also appreciate everyone's hard work here.
I was racially discriminated here, and the manager deferred me for 7 days for coming 1 day too early. Story I was at csl plasma but the line was way to long for me and took to much of my time. So instead returning to cal I returned to this center I came in one day to early and the manager threatened me and said if I never said I went there he would?ve Permanently differed me. ??? I never heard of this I've been donating plasma for years and switching locations For My convenience.
The first two times I donated went smoothly. The third time, was horrible. The heavy set Caucasian lady was super rude and unprofessional from the moment I sat in her chair. Then she stuck the needle too far in my arm and my arm is hella bruised now. She needs to go through training on customer service and phlebotomy over again because idk if she was just having a bad day or whatever it was. I was the one who ended up with a messed up arm. Very unprofessional. Everyone else was very nice to me though. I wis
This was my first time going to a Plasma donation center, just wanted to see and learn the process. The people in the center is very nice, I really had a nice experience starting my interaction with Natalia which explained to me the process and what to expect, unfortunately I couldn't donate something about my veins. But I will try again later at the same center in Kissimmee area.
My husband and I have been donating plasma for over 2 years, but at this location for about 3 months. We started pre COVID in Biolife but switched to this company, which has shorter wait times and compensation is greater. Overall the place is a good location to donate, employees are friendly, and the premises are always clean. Wait times may vary from 1-3 hours. Usually ai get in and out in an hour and a half. Be sure to donate twice a week to get the best compensation.
I really love this place they are so friendly so nice and the best part they are really fast they don't take hours like other places
Monae always giving exceptional service
When you donate plasma for over a year, you meet a lot of different people. Many of the employees and donors there are more like good friends now. The facility is very clean and they practice all safety and sterilizing procedures. I'm very satisfied with their service, compensation and highly recommend. Donating plasma saves and change lives.
I like coming here to donate plasma. The staff is always very friendly. Some know me by name and greet me by name. There was a different plasma center that opened near my job, I briefly went there. But I came back to Grifols because I really missed the staff and the atmosphere here. It is so much more relaxed. Not ?clinical? and stuffy. Thanks Grifols.
As a donor, it's a great feeling to know each donation is very helpful to someone out there. Someday it could be me or a loved one of my own. Nat?lia is always professional, kind and helpful. Thank you Grifols Kissimmee team for all you do!
The staff here is always friendly The wait time is to be expected but to my surprise their are days that you just cost right thru the staff here seems to be well trained an very attentive to the donors as a former CSL Plasma donor I can say that I will never go back there and I will continue to refer people here
They are the best plasma center in Florida. People make u feel comfortable and are attentive. Great workers A+. U JUST NEED THE OLD SYSTEM IT TAKES 30 MINS TO A HOUR LONGER WITH THE NEW SYSTEM
I have been donating plasma for over 2 years now, I used to wait for over 4 or 5 hours in another plasma donation center. Almost 3 months ago I start donating in Biomat and is the best move I ever make. The facility is very clean and the staff is really nice and very profesional.
Go to biolife instead. this center is always short staff and you'll be there for at least 3 hours. The staff will yank the needle out of your arm or leave it open exposing it to infection. when complaint is made to office staff, they are even more unprofessional.
VERY DISAPPOINTED I ask one of the managers for a face mask Because mine fell in the floor and I don't feel comfortable using a mask (or anything in my face) from the floor. I ask very polite and explain the reason I even came to the door with the mask in hand So she can see that I'm not lying and i just want a mask because a forgot mine at home ir something . She said that they don't have mask First thought was ?your a blood bank and you don't have mask? ??okay I understand she probably meant for the publ
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
