I had a great first experience donating with Grifols. From start to finish, the staff was fast, professional, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I was especially impressed with how clean and well-maintained the facility was, it definitely made me feel comfortable as a new donor. Adrian, who handled my in-processing, was awesome. He walked me through everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt informed and at ease. It's not often you come across that level of custome
It was to be my 58-59th donation without any issues, today was the exception. A fairly new worker took about 15-20 minutes to get me hooked up. I was thinking, I hope she doesn't screw up ( in my mind) .well after a short while, another worker stares at my machine, then I turn around and notice that I'm not connected to receiving container thus spewing my precious blood. I was taped up and asked not to leave for 10 minutes- also provided with a drink. I was looking through the donor hub and it stated that I
Great donation experience from start to finish. With one exception, a few donations back there were two employees female and a male having a conversation. The female while speaking Spanish and walking behind male who apparently was in charge at that time of running the floor. Rudely, as far as I'm concerned turned around and told the young to speak English since this is America. Which didn't sit well with me, ever since. There are both English and Spanish speaking donors, so both English and Spanish langua
Adrian is very polite and professional getting his job done in a timely matter. Destiny also is always professional and outgoing. They always have good attitudes and never come off bad in anyway! They make me want to continue coming back!
I come twice a week to donate plasma I feel good about it and myself, one of my favorite things is seeing the staff they are fun friendly and take my time into consideration my favorite is Adrian he takes care of business and donors
Adrian was very professional, very informative, respectful and helpful. Deserves praise, recognition, and a pay increase in my opinion.
First of all, I'm one of those people who is scared of needles. My friend talked me into going to try it. So I did well, I got over that situation and started donating. Long story short, everything that was told to me by the staff, was not as true and so I went to Grifols. And from the time I walked in the door, just the atmosphere was so calming, the staff was like someone that I had known for a long time. Everyone there was so calming and nice that I was so comfortable that before I new it i was done! I e
Always so nice, I 100% recommend that place. They are so sweet.
Always very welcoming friendly staff especially Adrian and Destiny always make you feel at home and make it a pleasent experience!!
The staff here are professional and caring making sure I am always comfortable. The energy and bright smiles from people like Adrian and Charles I promise will make this a positive experience and they keep me coming back every week! 100% would recommend to make extra cash and help save some lives. Not to mention Charles and Brenda?s comedy and overall great personalities are sure to brighten your day.
Wonderful staff, super friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. I was a first time donor and was very nervous coming in, but my nerves were quickly put at ease by the kindness of the people working there. Will be going back often!
I recently had an experience that left me quite disappointed with this organization. Despite my specific donor requests, it was clear they did not take them into consideration at all. It felt as if my preferences were ignored completely, which is frustrating when you're trying to support a cause you care about. Communication was lacking, and overall, the impression I got was that they simply don't care about their donors? input. I expected more engagement and respect for my wishes.
Josephina did good a excellent job and very polite. Like going there.
I have been donating here for about a year, and everyone here is so friendly and helpful. What normally would be a tiring process elsewhere is made comfortable and easy at Griffol Las Cruces. I appreciate the opportunity to help others in a friendly and comfortable atmosphere.
Been coming here off and on due the past 25+ years. A chance to do good, while getting away from the outside and lay back. Staff are always friendly and personable.
Alessandra and yaslyn on Valentine?s Day were the best service I've ever received by far. Those two are so attentive and on it. Made my whole night and think they are are so impressive as employees and will look forward to them being around ever time I donate
I highly recommend going here for your plasma donation. It's free extra money and you get to help save lives! The staff is outstanding! Very professional and comfortable environment. They are extremely knowledgeable on what they do and make sure you are safe and answer any questions you have.
I won't be donating any longer. Reducing the compensation pay makes it not worth my time.
There are alot of reasons to go to CSL plasma. First, at CSL they recognize and give you the new donor fees when you are a lapsed donor. That means if you have been gone for 6 months, they show you your value by paying you extra. At BPL you don't have this anymore. At CSL, the hours are open until 4pm on Saturdays instead of 2pm at BPL. The floor plan is way too outdated at BPL and feels crowded where at no time you will ever experience that at CSL. Very crucially, I have never been disrespected at CSL like
I'd like to say that Grifols is a very welcoming and educating plasma facility, where they truly get to know the person that you are well experienced phlebotomist Carlos is my first stick and hands-down has been one of the best addition for company especially Yaslyn she's a astonishing worker everyone here deserves accreditation for the great work that they do here
The front staff is very nice and courteous. The phlebotomist are also courteous and very knowledgeable and diligent keeping the donors health and well being as their main focus. Every time I've gone in, they are always hustling.
Been going here for years. Always a pleasant experience. Everyone is polite and professional. They know returning donators by name and give a warm welcome. They make donating a painless experience and give great information how we can minimize the time we take donating (stay hydrated and avoid fatty foods the night before)
Everyone at grifols are super friendly, respectful, and courteous. They answer any questions I have and make the whole process as quick and easy as possible. I highly recommend grifols to anyone trying to donate.
Been donating for about 2 months. Was very reluctant to go in. I think due to the location of the facility I was concerned with cleanliness & patrons. From my very first visit to present, I have been highly impressed with not only the cleanliness, but also the customer service & comfort I feel. Very friendly staff. Very informative staff. I enjoy the little extras they do like the costume contest during Halloween. Medical staff has been very polite when I have needed to report my medication. Be prepared to
Staff has always been awesome and the compensation is decent. Highly recommended place.
Great Staff The Best is Carlos He's Awesome. All Staff are very hospitable and kind. ??
Very good staff ?? and Charles is always showing a great ways to promote and to provide great customer service. Also very fast service on donor floor great team
Adrian is awesome! Always a great experience coming in. Very professional and efficient!
Since 1st coming back in Sept 2018 I've had a great experience so far with the staff. It's for a good cause plus you get cash for saving lives. I went today and Haley was such an outgoing person, really friendly and helpful.
I know there's a lot of negative comments on here, but I do have to say, I went in today 11/14/22 for my first time donating, and everything went smoothly? Every staff member I dealt with was very nice and friendly and professional! The whole process from start to finish did take a while, but nothing that wasn't expected. From my experience today I do highly recommend this facility.
They are so well trained! They take their time on each person coming in and be makes sure that are comfortable they have an amazing staff more than anything! Plus they have a great giveaways which I was lucky enough to win a 50? tv! Then on top of helping save lives we get get paid good and it increases the more you go throughout the month! Definitely recommend going to BPL!!!
Friendly staff good service. Helping people while getting paid come check it out!
Very clean and very friendly staff. I always enjoy small chats I have with employees :) However, I'm giving two stars because they need to have another medical examiner instead of just one. For some reason the system prompted me to see the medical examiner but I'm NOT a new donor and very upset. I could have been done and on my way alot sooner.
I've gone countless times, sometimes it's a nice fast transition but most of the time they are extremely understaffed. I don't blame them, they're all really nice cool people. I blame the company for not wanting to hire more people, in an attempt to maximize profits and not have to pay their staff. I've also had them mess up hitting the vein a bit too many times, and in the process of finding it go WAY too deep into my arm, it's very uncomfortable. Just got told that my sample had too low of protein so I'll
Been coming here for a year now, the staff is super helpful and nice. Good sticks from the phlebos ??
I was there last week twice and every single employee were very helpful and kind I would recommend grifols to everyone who needs to donate plasma thank you fellow employees your awsome
A great place the staff is awesome. Especiallricardo is good at his job and Brenda. Brenda is good at her job as well. Very good people love this place.
They have really good customer service. Every worker makes you feel comfortable and welcome. Everytime I'm having like not so good day they seem to bring me up with all the positive vibes.
A necessary evil. Place is always packed. Perhaps understaffed to maximize profit, but that means I've never waited less than an hour in the waiting room. Sadly, it's only the people that really need the $25 that are willing to wait the 3-4 hours it takes to get in and out of here. That said, the staff are wonderful. I just wish they had the resources necessary to accommodate the hordes of people they face every day in a timely fashion.
Its a very professional establishment. Great workers that make you feel like a friend not just another person to get in an out. The wait time is not to bad specially since they have tv playing or good music.
Guess you got to be a liar in order to give a donation. I have 6 years clean of drugs and no hepatitis, yet because I was honest and told them I experimented with heroin I got denied. Yet when I walked in I seen 4 people I know have been drug addicts and shot up more than me. Guess you gotta lie about this stuff. Apparently they did
If you've got a couple of hours to spare a couple days per week it's not a bad way to make some extra cash. If you are in a hurry it is not the place for you, especially on your first visit- plan for 4-5 hours the first time! After your first visit you can expect 1.5-3 depending on how busy it is. Some staff members are very proficient or excellent at their skills and customer service and some are very slow and not friendly. Take a book or your iPad and be prepared to keep yourself entertained while you wai
Been coming here for years, the service is wonderful and the workers are very fast, would recommend this place to anyone looking to donate plasma!
Always love the staff here they are friendly and courteous. Clean environment and quick service. They offer fun promotions often.
I went here to donate plasma have donated plasma to other places in the past year while I was there there were four new donors all four of us were sent away me after 3 hours there are over 70 questions on the kiosk the staff has absolutely no personality like no personality at all I was sent away until I could not donate because I had allergic reaction to penicillin 8 years ago that's right and now they want records from Maine New Hampshire and New Mexico to know that I'm okay almost a decade later and then
Informative and friendly staff. I've been coming for about a year now and I'm always greeted with a smile and a fast, moving, donor floor. The process is always fast and easy.
My donation experience went smooth, thank you too Adrian! Nice staff as well :)
I love the staff here, but this company is a mess. They are not consistent in how they pay donors, and they move around hours for new donors which they don't get because the pay is low for th region. It's obvious they overwork their employees because it's like the same 10 people running this place. For new donors, it used to be 125, now it's 100. For continuous donors, it's 40 and 75- even though they started at 40 and 80. This company would rather skim $5 than to reward donors. If you go to CSL they pay yo
Amazing staff!! Very friendly, and helpful. Great positive experience!
Please let people know they'll be hanging around for 3+ hours at a time. I went in today as a first time donor after having called. Was told there's really nobody here. I headed over and was waiting. For those who are new you need ID, SS card, and proof of address. You will be giving a handbook about 5 pages long you'll need to read them cause apparently your be asked 50 questions on it. Then after that you'll get a Physical. I asked about the physical and was told a basic one. I wasn't very comfortable wi
A friend referred me but turned out to be a complete waste of time! When got there the first time they sent me away because I didn't have the correct documents. Okay, fine. So traveled all back home to get them, which is a 15 MINUTE drive from the facility. Got them and drove all the way back, then they still refused me because now I needed to go back home and "eat breakfast"!! They wasted my time twice in one day!!! WHEN THEY COULD HAVE BEEN CLEAR ABOUT WHAT IS NEEDED TO BEGIN WITH!!! I didn't even bother
It'sa nice place to go to but they need to give more incentives to us.. their losing all there costumers to CSL plasma because they always give incentives..
Worst donations clinic I've ever been too. Each time I've gone, the staff is incredibly rude. They screwed up not only my first donation, but my second as well. The first time, they took more plasma than recommended for my stature, causing me to have a reaction. The second time, after waiting for 3 hours to get in, they stuck me twice, then when it clotted they wanted to stick my other arm again. I already had another appointment set for that day, so I declined. After that, they told me that I was no longer
My name is Devyn W. And I love going to GRIFOLS, the staff are always on top of it and welcoming, and Leslie?s sticks are painless!! Very pleased and will keep coming
Very nice staff! Very clean! Everyone is so nice here!! They answered all my questions! I would definitely recommend this center to anyone!! Trust me you'll love your experience as much as I did! They have such a fun staff, very kind, I love it here !!! Thank you BPL Plasma you guys are great!!! ?? ????????
This place is great to go to when you need extra cash. Plus you may be saving a life. All the the staff is very friendly. Skylar Nash is the best phlebotomist. He is one of the only people that can find my veins.
One of the worst experiences I had so far. Went in as a new donor. I went through all the questionnaire and read that book they give you and I notice it says if you had gotten a tattoo within 12 months you might not be able to donate. So, I let them know I had recently gotten a tattoo in February; they told me that's fine and asked me to name all my tattoos, where they were and of what, and how long have I had them. I told them everything. After that they gave me papers to take to these places to get them f
If you love to give back, this is a great opportunity! They have the nicest employees working here! And always makes you feel comfortable!
Grifols has been a welcoming place, with friendly people. If you're thinking about becoming a donor- make the most out of your first few visits. Come in 4 times within the first 30 days after joining- or you will miss out on the $125 per donation promotion for new donors. After that, you will receive $40 the first time you donate (within a given week-) and around $80 the second time, based on the month?s promotion. Make sure you squeeze in your visits before Friday, as Friday marks the start of a new wee
I highly recommend Biomat USA for anyone looking to help save lives. I have been a donor here for quite a while and can say that this is a great place to make extra cash and help someone while doing it. Staff is amazing, very friendly and ensure your donation process goes very well.
Honestly if you take any kind of medication don't bother. They have a mandatory screening (something other locations don't require, this isn't the first donation site I've visited) every single time, and their medical supervision staff are so lackadaisical that it adds anywhere between a 30 to 60 minute wait depending on how motivated they feel that day. It would be fine if this nonsensical wait was compensated, but alas, it's simply brushed off as if they're doing you a favor, despite you being the one don
Destiny and adrian very professional and helpful
Waited there for 4 hours, my iron was perfect (I struggle a lot to get high and takes a lot of preparation before donating) and once I got to the donating floor I waited about 30 minutes till I got someone and when he went to put in the needle my vein moved, and then someone else tried to get it but no. No blood no money, waisted my time there and they don't even bother giving you one of those passes to cut the line next time. Honestly I don't see myself going there again. Worst service there today, super d
UPDATE: In the owner response below they said someone would reach out to me but it never happened. My recommendation is if you're just looking to help and don't need the money go donate at the blood bank. They actually appreciate the people that are helping. The employees at this center are always rude and make it seem like they are doing you a favor and they are only willing to do the bare neccesity to keep their jobs. They always make you feel like if you complain they will find a way to defer you. Whic
I came back to Bpl plasma after two years and I have to say that they have improved immensely. Of course there are days they are short staffed and the wait is long but overall the staff is quick, efficient, professional and very friendly. Keep up the good work Bpl!
They aren't organized, they don't seem to know what they are doing and it's chaotic. I'd recommend going to any other donor center. Plus they want you to download an app and set an appointment but they don't care about taking people by appointment it's whoever they want to help next
The Plasma Center has had a little bit of turn over as far as the staff goes, but the new employees are a great addition to the team, it's nice to see the professionalism has greatly improved in the last year. Great job, and keep up the good work.
If you're looking to help others in need by donating plasma and making a little cash I HIGHLY recommend this place! You're welcomed almost immediately with the friendliest staff and the utmost professional care while you're on the donation floor. 10/10!
Great staff and awesome place to donate. It can sometimes get crowded but they are pretty good in getting everyone out and going. Love the people that work there. They are friendly and awesome with clients.
Great staff and I always get in out very fast. Highly recommend it
Always room for improvement but, overall, they are doing a great job. Kesha is kind and knowledgeable, while Rosie is amazing on the donor floor. Even with the occasionally long wait, you're still making around $15 an hour. Bring something to keep you occupied and the time will fly. Thanks BPL.
After reading a lot of these reviews they seem to reflect a lot of negative aspects of the donation center. I give the BPL plasma center 3 stars max. I don't think people realize that a large portion of people come in and out of this building everyday. I wouldn't be surprised if they said more than a thousand people visit here everyday. the volume of business they receive is tremendous. That being said, if you plan on donating here do expect to stay here a minimum of 3 hours. I would say the payout after th
First time donating was a total 8hr process, they are so unorganized. Don't think they have a process, you can be sitting waiting to get stuck and someone new walks in and they will stick him first. This place is a joke
I have very difficult veins. Most places turn me away but biomat took me and the workers get my vein everytime! They are always so nice and pleasant.
Most unprofessional donation center I've experienced. Took over 5 hours to get my process done. In those 5 hours, 2 hours they forgot about me. Screened me afterwards, and the ones doing the physical cussed and were slow. Turns out I wasn't able to donate due lacking a ?sterilization? sheet. Could of told me that at the begiiinning. Never again.
Spent over 4 hours waiting until I just walked out. Not worth the money they supossedly pay out. What was taking so long??? All the employees are just screwing around, cussing and laughing. They helped 10 people that got there after me, ahead of me. How is that fair?!!! Ughhhh. They say you're supposed to eat before but it takes over 5 hours to be seen??? Makes no sense
Ive been going for a few months now, and have had a decent experience so far, just drink plenty of water the day before and on your donation to have a smooth and fast donation
I go every now and then to the plasma place and every time I go it's a long wait but I understand they are trying with a lot of people in the line some people say they should hire more staff but either way by the end of the donation it is totally worth it.. If you are a new donor then expect to be there a while but it's 50$ for the first 5 times you go and after that the first donation of the week is 25$ and the second is 35$.. if you miss 2 months you are a lapsed donor and ur first 2 times back will be 5
The people that work there go over a beyond to make you feel comfortable! Great place to go an do the right thing save life!!!
I'm a long term donor and I can say I've never had any issues with staff or other patrons. In my experience every one of the staff has always been pleasant and respectful towards me. The unpleasant portion has to do with standing for long periods of time. Possibly chairs against the wall may be a future option. Also the number of kiosk questions might be shortened. Those are minor inconveniences. Overall i give the las Cruces plasma center high marks
If your needing extra money this place can be a good source of side income. (Updated) But be prepared to suffer in endless waiting when systems are down, they don't have enough staff, or are just slow.... ?? Good luck
I don't ever want to dissuade someone from donating, but I have managed my entire 47 years on my present forms of i.d. to get me through university, get married and divorced, get all my utilities and phones in order at the address where I reside, etc., but this morning I was turned down because my driver's licence shows my prefix (III), which my social security card does not. It was suggested I talk to the DMV to remove the III, to which I commented that I AM the third, and I don't think it's a good idea to
They are friendly, work fast and efficient. Clean place, great place to help save lives and make some extra money, chances to win great prizes like TV's, just amazing staff.
Friendly and very positive vibes. Carlos, Ana, Jessica, Brenda, Christina Ramon all very awesome professional people. ????
Shout out to Erica and the girls behind the counter! Expect a smooth ride, and no wait time! What a team! Keep up the great work!
Ive been donating on and off for the last 2 years and it's just getting more and more unprofessional, despite efforts to implement corporate policy. I completely agree that the staff would rather screw off then expedite donations, that includes games and profanity on the floor. No respect for donors time or comfort.
Worst place ever. They pay you very small amounts, the staff are unqualified and RACIST towards anyone not hispanic. They don't know how to stick you correctly. They take over an hour WITH a fast pass which is supposed to put you first in line, but they dont want to buy more beds so you still end up waiting. They make a huge profit off your plasma, yet treat you horribly and disrespectfully in the waiting room. Theres cigarette butts EVERYWHERE outside and half the people who donate look like drug addicts
Made me feel at home....
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
