Suite 105, Lufkin
Lufkin, Texas 75904
1/5 stars* I had a disturbing experience at [Plasma Donation Center]. A staff member made a hurtful and unprofessional comment about my body odor, suggesting that I had a yeast infection without any medical basis. They even went so far as to enlist someone else to reinforce their claim, which felt like bullying and belittling. To make matters worse, they told me that I wouldn't be allowed to donate plasma until my perceived body odor was resolved. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and made me feel emb
I love love love the people who work at this point in in Lufkin, Texas. They are all very nice and very friendly. They all know how to do there job too. It has never ever been painful or something that hurt me at all . Absolutely painless process that I would do for the rest of my life If I am able. Thanks to all the ones who do ?? God's beautiful work daily . These guys are the best at what they do. Also special thanks to my fav. Is MYNA , AND special thanks to my extra extra fav. First one who ever t
The staff at Lufkin is very inviting and well informed. I have always had a pleasant experience.
The staff here are amazing, kind, and friendly, all around great experience.
Friendly professional staff. Clean , comfortable environment. Grifols is parent company. Paid through direct deposit on Bank of America card.
Great staff. They get you in and out efficiently.
The staff is very attentive to the needs of donors. They are willing to help at every turn.
I went for my first time yesterday. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful my entire stay. I, unfortunately, had a bad reaction and was unable to complete the entire process. I literally almost blacked out and they had to stop the procedure. They were so helpful in getting me back on my feet. My only concern, which I didn't realize until after I got home, was they never once asked for my emergency contacts. At the worst point, I felt like I was going to faint. It would be most beneficial if
I came in Thursday and was stuck four times and still was not able to make a donation I came in today waited an hour in a chair before someone told me they couldn't find a vein for me to make a donation, to me that is unacceptable. Time matters but they don't seem to think so. No apologies or empathy.
Great environment friendly staff especially Kris
Love this place in and out pretty quick and the work staff is always patient and understanding and explain things I ask I have not had a question yet they couldn't answer Have a good day plasma people and workers ??????
Always helping people and being kind and very understanding great people
This place is horrible, I've come so many times hours before they're business closing hours and they're constantly closed way to early, a true waste of time. If I could give no stars I would. In continuation from my last review, once again they have wasted my time. I called them and they answered which was a biggg surprise, i called and asked if they were open and I could come in and they said yes and just hung up on me before i could ask anything else and when i called back no one answered. I take the onl
Everyone so professional, had a great experience
The people are rude , no one knows how to answer a phone tried calling like 3-4 times because the app won't work then they get extremely rude when you're asking any questions. They made me feel like they don't want to be there so they got to make you not want to be there
The staff is so friendly! They are also very tentative. I had a reaction my first time and as soon as I started to feel off, the staff was around me and getting me all fixed up! They take great care of you and make sure you're healthy and ready to go. They even gave me a call later that day to make sure I was doing alright
Super relaxing environment. The staff is super nice. On my first donation I kinda freaked out a little bit they were so great and helped me calm back down. EDIT to add my experience from today so, today was my second donation and it's still amazing. the first time my blood pressure dropped and I freaked out the whole team worked to get me back to normal and calm me down. I made it to 98% completed when that happened I was so upset I didn't get to finish.. so I made sure I drank plant of water and ate plenty
The people here are really amazing, sweet, friendly, and careing. I've never had a complaint untill today June 8th 2023 usually it's movies on the t.v down low maybe some soft music playing. But today oh no not the case it's 2:16 and I've been donating for 40 minutes and the only thing playing is completely disgusting and disrespectful rap music curse word's and music about disrespecting a woman.. This is very unprofessional and does not sound like the place I have been donating at for a long time.. If anyo
Poorly run location. They over schedule and the wait is extremely long. You'll be better off going to Nacogdoches.
This is a great way to make extra cash. Everyone is great there. Come on and help out.
Such a great plasma center. The workers are so welcoming and friendly! Always making you feel truly appreciated. Kudos to the staff on their long and busiest days. Not everyone is patient and understanding with staff when they're extremely busy and at times understaffed so I apploud all of their hard work. Love this place.
Grifols is a clean safe way to donate to help others. The staff I've met so far has been awesome!! They have excellent hours too. I've been in and out within just a couple hours after the first time donating. Come in and check it out yourself. You will leave happy too
Do not waste your time or your gas. Not once but TWICE in one week I was told "We are not accepting new donors." I didn't know there was a plethora supply of plasma. Tell that to the people's who's lives depend on this donation. On my second attempt I arrived on a Sunday at 10:00A.M, the facility closes at 3:00 P.M. At first I was told to sit and someone would be over to help, then I was told they weren't taking new donors. All because the employee that registers applicants didn't want to do her/his job. S
Very clean, very nice, very professional staff
This was my very first time. I was very uneasy about doing it. The staff there was so very friendly and assuring. They walked me through every single step. After talking with them, they answered every question. Their knowledge was impeccable and affirmative. They made me feel comfortable. The facility was very clean and i would recommend them to anyone. If you wanna help those in need by donating. This is the place to go.
If I could this place wouldn't get even 1star. If I wasn't here w my daughter I'd walk out. I was left in a waiting area close to donar place. So furious. I mean bad. The staff visits a lot, so don't come at low peak times bc it'll take Just as long as high peak lol. Yes, they do have favorites. Haven't even given blood yet n already staff change just wow!! So unprofessional.update: I asked a guy worker if I could run to my car bc lots of clients were in n out, my 2nd time I was told I couldn't donate. I ca
I've made six donations here and they've all gone very smoothly. Everyone is friendly and very professional. I'm in and out in a little more than an hour. Doing good for the people in need of the medicinal products made from from plasma and picking up a good bit of money in return.
I recommend to donate at Grifols because of the employees know exactly what they are doing and know how to handle any situation thrown their way. They educate clients who have questions before, during and after the donating process. No question goes unanswered. Overall, everyone is very nice and they all have wonderful manners to the clients.
I called to to verify if they require appointment, I was told they do not. My wife went in to donate and they told her they do require an appointment. She made one then came back the day of the appointment that was scheduled for 9:30am. She waited for 2 hours before she was told it could take another 2 hours before being seen. When she asked about the appointment she was then told that they don't do appointments. Very unorganized as this isn't the first time it has happened. I only don't give it one star du
I've been coming here almost 3 months. It's nice to know how much the staff care for the clients and are always professional. I've really enjoyed my experience here.
Consistently lazy, consistently unprofessional, consistently rude, extremely confrontational, and allow customer favorites to break policy rules and guidelines directly Infront of other customers. Policy and procedures mean ABSOLUTELY nothing to the staff working up front. Payouts days late if you get them.
I've had excellent service and experiences at Grifols in Lufkin, Texas. The staff is friendly, helpful, and caring. I love the fact that I am helping others and getting a little something for myself a well.
Very clean but I've been twice and donated nothing the first time I walked in they didn't wanna take new donor the lady was very clear she didn't want a new donor it was packed I tried again got the the physical now I do have a skin condition where the needle goes but when I got there 11:25 they said they can not take any new donors I asked nicely could they take one more then said that my skin condition they couldn't do it I have no bruising or tough thick skin my skin is clearest it's ever been or I would
Awful experience here. One particular staff member was condescending and rude from the start for no reason at all. She decided she wouldn't allow me to donate even though I passed the questionnaire and every screening procedure (which took well over 2 hours). I have been a reoccurring donor at multiple other facilities and this place was by far my worst experience. Most of the positive reviews are incentivized so don't let them fool you!
Really great place! Staff is always attentive and professional. My experience is always a positive one. Would definitely recommend them.
Great way to help save a life and earn some extra cash. Corey, Jenny, Frances and Courtney are awesome. Marsha is way cool. Haven't had a bad interaction with anyone there. They make it quick and painless, and i I love the monthly contests. Eta: 7/21/22 4 years later and a few faces have changed, but not the awesome mission of plasma donation. Get paid to help save a life or keep someone healthy in their day to day? What's not to like about it? Plus they make sure you are healthy, so it helps me to do the
Friendly and comfortable environment with friendly employees who know what they are doing. They also Fixes problems in a timely manner and compensates for your time. Definitely would highly recommend if you want to help go donate plasma here. Unfortunately I am lowering my 5 star to 4. The place is great but they changed to these new blood pressure machines that are getting way to tight on our arms and reading the BP wrong. When you tell them it is way to tight my hand is going numb they come up with excuse
I love going to grifols it's an amazing experience and I I love the staff up there they are amazing Stephanie is amazing Gerald is amazing Jessica is amazing Tia is amazing brie is amazing Aaliyah is amazing and they make your experience that much more fun and relaxing and enjoyable every time you step off into grifols. AWESOME ?? ??? THIS IS Mr B.Willams
Really nice staff always laugh when I go in, the wait time is little to none. They have a good system set up and it makes things a lot easier keep doing what your doing BPL!
If you're a new donor they will take you through he'll & back and honestly it's not even worth the hassle. Took my sister to donate. 1st day , protein was low , came back the next day & it was a issue with drivers license , 3rd time today it was 3 somthing and she said they wasn't taking new donors..... She was depending on this to help her with a bill. Also, the lady at the front had a lil attitude. I wouldn't waste my time unless you're a consistent donor.... they definitely have their picks && c
I had and do always have a great experience. The staff is so friendly and extremely timely.I definitely enjoyed the most recent experience.
WORST PLASMA CENTER EVER. I went in to donate for my very first time ever, and I was told to be honest, and told them I had diabetes prior , OK they made me go to a doctor pay out-of-pocket for a check up And bring back the papers once I brought back the papers I was told that I could put ?no? in the system on the diabetes question Now I'm deferred from all Grifols And they don't even care to undo me because they're employees messed up and lied and told me to lie When actually, I was doing the right thing -
I've been coming here forever! Not only is their staff completely unqualified to stick but the donors suffer. I have Deep veins so I understand being a little bit difficult. However, when only ONE person can stick me out of tHe entire building. Now I've never had an issue recieving my funds for letting them stick me till today. Normally I get paid in full even if they can't get a vein because they stuck me multiple times. However today I recied ten dollars after three different people stuck me. THREE DIFFER
I don't have a Google account so I'm writing this under my son?s! ?? Each time I have been here, started in August. They have always been knowledgeable, friendly and gentle with the needle!
Everyone up here is great! I enjoy each and every one of them! I love coming in, I get to help someone in need of the medicine from plasma, and enjoy the people there as well. I will continue to donate!
I absolutely love coming here to donate my plasma! The staff is so welcoming and nice! There is some amazing people that work and come to this place to help save lives and earn a little extra money! I highly recommend this place!!
Since moving to Texas and donating here I have nothing but great things to say. The staff is friendly and helpful and they treat you like you are important to them. I highly recommend.
I started donating a few months ago and I have been very pleased with my experience. The staff is always very attentive while you are there and welcoming when you come in.
I love coming here I been going here for a while and they really do care about their donors and I enjoy there company they are so nice and generous and very kind thank you biomat for being so kind and loyal I love coming here and I want to stay coming here for as long as I can once again thank you biomat for everything you guy?s are truly amazing thank you for you're service this is the best place I have ever been to thank god for you guy?s I love you're loyal donor Gregory Davis
The staff is so wonderful and beyond kind ?? They are very accurate with sticks and monitor you regularly. I had a bad reaction and they were by my side the entire time and made sure I was okay before letting me leave
Overall great experience! They are very efficient and make sure to do anything and everything to get you to be able to donate!!! Always help when help is needed!
Most friendly people that work there. Most kind an caring people an make them feel comfortable to relax while snaring they r all favorite's I like going to save a person live
My name is Shanna Benda. I donated today 11/16/2020. I had a very bad experience today. I was standing in line to get my weight and temperature taken, and ANGIE verbally yelled at me and said, "C'mon Shanna i aint got all day to wait on you!" And snapped her fingers at me. I suffer from ptsd and anxiety and she has upset me very badly.i do not know her and i definately did not do anything to instigate her verbal beratement. She must have been very mad at somebody or something because she surely was grabbing
It's a great environment and really relaxing the workers are very nice its good that you can make money and help ppl at the same time
They were very friendly and informative. I was very dehydrated on my first time and didn't know I was supposed to drink a lot of water before, so I couldn't donate, but they gave me extra ice packs, and still have me money.
I have been donating a few weeks and the staff has been so nice and encouraging. It is nice to go on a place that is super clean and you feel safe.
Go to Biomat/ Grifols in Lufkin, Texas. Since I started donating here I have nothing but great things to say. The staff is friendly and helpful and they treat you like you are important to them. You get to help others and get paid too. I highly recommend.
Amanda answered my call about information about the location and made sure I had everything I needed before coming. She answered all my questions and concerns! She made me feel comfortable coming in!
I've been donating plasma with Grifols for almost 6 months now and I can say the experience has been all positive. The employees are all upbeat and professional. The donations I give help save lives and the compensation I receive sure helps keep gas in my truck gas tank in these times of high gas prices.
Nice friendly staff. Clean environment. Most times in and out within a hour. Only complaint is they need to let donors know when they are closing early, opening late, or not opening at all.
They do Not list all medications they will disqualify you for so just lie like everyone else if you take meds. wish I had read the comments about this place before I showed up. This place discriminates against you for your medications because they refused to take my donation based on 1 of my medications that wasn't even on their list of refused meds.
Out of all the donations centers I've visited, this place has to be the most cleanliness, friendliest, fast paced plasma centers in Texas! As a new donor, I was in and out in 2.5 hours! Big Kudos to the entire staff!
If you take meds DO NOT TELL THEM. I REPEAT, DO NOT TELL THEM. The process takes an hour longer when Quine is NOT working. I should have been halfway through or about finished donating by now. The people that walked through the door with me are almost finished and here I am STILL STUCK here waiting on medical. Ugh. Thing is their not busy, and the lady that does the physicals and medical screenings is taking her sweet time. She is in another office talking at this time. After today, I'm not coming here anym
The BPL Plasma staff are very professional, courteous and nice. They do their job very well but they make you feel comfortable and at ease until your donation is over.
Great experience overall! Friendly staff! First time takes a little while but after that it's pretty quick!
It's a fabulous place to help someone with just a few minutes of your day. The staff is amazing especially the medical team such as Christopher Moore!!!!
They were very polite, and professional. Tia was on top of her game during my physical. I would recommend tia to anyone who comes through the doors of grifolson plasma center.
I must say every time I'm there the staff is wonderful. AlwAys there to assist you with any questions. DeDe Brittany and Ron are my favorites on setting me up. I was worried about donating my plasma at first. They have made it painless. I love the Lufkin Office
Ms.Shina & Amanda are amazing! Both have great personalities & hardworking.. they make ya feel like family forreal
Great staff, clean area. The movie selections could use some work, lol. Very professional, and a good location. Money as promised.
I donate plasma often and I've had a great experience every time. Great staff! Very clean! I will continue to donate! Thanks to the amazing staff for making each donation comfortable!
Not the worst place ever but could definitely get more efficient and better staffed. Often spend more time waiting then I should considering the small number of people that go there.
Everyone is always so nice. Never had a problem. They take good care of me when I'm there.
This location would be perfect if the staff knew what they were doing. I went to the Lubbock location for years. And they were great. Lufkin BPL is a huge disappointment.
Steffanee, Dakota, and Jessica are some of the sweetest in the building that cares about they job if it wasn't for them caring so much I would donate it's never dull moment
Worst place to donate!!!! They will never answer the phone and once you have a problem they let the phone ring constantly with no one answering. They also lie about the amounts that you will get. also they will constantly stick you and bruise you and don't feel no sympathy for you. Look elsewhere cause you will get worst possible service.
Friendly staff. They're always professional and courteous. I really feel like I make an impact with each donation. Thank you guys.
Wonderful and attentive staff. The donation process is easy, and there is always someone available to help or answer any questions.
I love this place and everyone is so cool. They enjoy making you comfortable and getting you in and out.
Staff are friendly you have to be patient with your donors. Aneka is very patient with her donors. And explains the procedure. Experience knows what she is doing.
Being a first time donor A?neka, Kylee and Mina helped me feel comfortable and put all my fears to rest! Thank you so much for taking such good care of me!
Everyone that works there is super nice and will explain anything you don't understand and is always is making sure you are comfortable and don't need anything
Very polite staff, smiling people, and quick to answer any question you may have about the donation process. Over all excellent experience..
Great staff!! Was my first time donating and they made me feel completely at ease..everything was explained thoroughly.
Very clean, fast and efficient, with great and friendly staff ! I look forward to donating again !!!! And definitely will recommend my friends and family for future donations ??????????
I love this place! The people are really nice and very professional and proficient at their jobs! Would recommend to anyone!
It's a great place that is outstanding at what they do! Friendly and caring staff. You can tell that BPL is run by great management.
This facility is very clean, staff are super friendly & helpful. I highly recommend it to anyone wanting to help save lives & make a little extra money.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
