This is the worst Plasma Donation Center that I have ever been to. DO NOT GO HERE. They are untrained, rude, negligent, and they do not care about the donors. Here is what they did to me. I made my first and only donation at this center on 01/24/2025. They stuck the needle in my right arm first, and the girl shoved the needle too far and introverted (blew up) my vein. She called the floor manager over to assist with her mistake, and the MANAGER then stuck the needle in my left arm. She then unclamped the cl
I've been coming here three months my weight is right at the line of the next up donator amount and I had a reacts giving that extra 50mls that the weight range is so I've figured the scales are different in each check in station. When I check in if not at a accurate scale I ask them to use the accurate scale and three out of four people give me major attude. They know the scales are wrong so why the attude towards the person doing a thing to help others with medical issues. Then I said I may need to to try
Terrible terrible experience here. I would recommend going to a different place. Im concerned about the training being done and if they're even training those who work here. Very rough and had many troubles properly sticking me, never had an issue with this at other plasma centers.
Absolutely love donating here. The whole staff is friendly and make you feel comfortable. I have donated at another place and they were so rude. Changed to Grifols and would never go anywhere else. Thank you staff at Murfreesboro Grifols!!!
Karen and Dalia are just the sweetest and most caring at the front and Alicia is by far the best at sticking your arm in the back. I started out going to earn some extra money and it has become more of a social outing for me and I really enjoy all the staff!
I took some time off from donating. I got an offer for extra money on the first 2 new visits, so I took it. Unfortunately the same issue happened this time, that made me stop coming here. Leaving reviews does nothing. Karen (name is apropos) at the front desk is extremely rude to people. I read a review about somebody being rude the first time I came here last year. I immediately knew who that person was talking about. She is still here. Acting the same way. I don't know why they made the most abrasive p
I loathe places that wait on people that get there after you because they are standing at the counter. No let them know we will get with you in order of arriving. Don't waste my time. Staff the first time was great not so much today poor work skills. Management must have been off today. This is just the front reception area the staff in back was great
If anyone needs to donate RUN no one knows what they are doing. No one has any real training instead of hiring people who know what they are doing and telling everyone they aren't hydrated because they can't stick you is their only excuse. Almost everyone I referred has been told the same thing and I've asked several people outside of a referral to come and they've all been told the same thing when we DRINK WATER. Yes the process is faster because of new machines but it's not worth it for inexperienced work
I use to donate with them constantly. But I needed up having to get a doctor to sign off on that I could donate it took 3 weeks after to get an appointment because they never answer the phone. So I made my appointment, and waited for 1 hour and half just to be told my vain are too small. It makes absolutely no sense that in a year my vans magically are too small for them to donate, but I can donate constantly before hand so either one their training isn't done well or the people that did their job beforeha
I would give this place zero stars if I could. The people here are extremely rude, very literally the rudest people I have ever dealt with in any business. The first time we (My husband, son & I) came in just to inquire about the process & business because we have never been to one of these places, they didn't greet us, just kind of stared at us & then when I explained to them that we had never been there and wanted information about it, the head woman with blondish hair & a very snooty attitude, very rudel
This location is clean and the staff is great. The reason for my rating is that they changed their hours after a large portion of their staff left. That was understandable. It seems like they are fully staffed now, but the hours are still limited. They take the last appointment at 5:45 when they used to end at 7:00. Most people get off work at 5:00 and it can take 30 minutes to get to Murfreesboro from another part of Murfreesboro with traffic. I would be there twice a week every week if they stayed open ti
This place is a circus. There are a handful of good phlebotomists here, however they are not enough to stem the tide of incompetence that floods from the manager's office on a daily basis. At the time of writing, there are 4 or5 managers at this location. Somehow, though, they don't schedule phlebotomists in such a way as to avoid having one or two working on the busiest days, and having 3+ working on slow days. They also punish their employees for doing the right thing and following their training, especi
I have given a lot of plasma. I have gone to csl as well as biolife. Neither places have ever had an issue finding a vein. EVER! I decided to give this place a try, get checked in and get seated in the back so the can ?check? for veins. The girl that was trying to find a vein on both arms isn't able to find a vein in one arm, get asked more than once if I have donated before, my response both times was yes, in both arms! She calls someone else over to check my arms to see if she can find a vein which she s
went to donate plasma for the first time by appointment, everything went pretty smooth Except one of the phlebotomists there put the needle into the wrong area and i needed to be re-sticked by someone else. this was taken care of fast though, and i havent experienced any ill affects from it. the place was clean, not much to complain about except for what i already mentioned. kendrick on top though i wish they had played him instead of the drake songs.
I made my first appointment for this place I introduced myself and the receptionist's lady was very rude to me and with my sister she was more rude to my sister because she saw that my sister doesn't speak English well and she made us read in English and then refused to let my sister do the paperwork because she said that if she didn't know how to read in English that she couldn't donate.we're just trying to help more people by donating,I felt very uncomfortable and that was first red flag. Front desk lady
I went and they attempted to rip me off the 1st donation giving only 55. They fixed it. I went back my 2nd time ever and they gave me only 45. Never told me that. They are rude at best. There's a blond up front with glasses and not to be rude but a big nose as she don't wear name tags, she is hateful. Then one of the phlebotomy techs in back for angry bcs she wanted to eat so she turned away the next 3 donors! She did the same thing ystrdy. I asked if she ever got to eat her lunch and she said, "I'll alway
I'll give two stars for the few good employees at this location. There's a very rude blond up front who evidently has a problem with me. I've tried to donate THREE times now since Sunday. I got caught in traffic and was late on Sunday... Any other time this is not a problem. The blond girl told me id have to come back another time. Fast forward to Tuesday. Same blond is working. I get skipped and am sitting there waiting for triage for over twenty minutes. I have another appointment so I go to the desk and
rude & pointless scheduling an appointment. took an hour just to get papers to fill out. they need to let me manage this place cause they obviously dont know what they are doing. you should give paper work as soon as they come in & have them doing videos etc while waiting on nurse. so unorganized in the process.have had to call their corporate numerous times. after about a year am back to try again with this company. notging has changed. they have a new system that they dont even know how to use. wish i cou
I make an Appointment and it takes an hour and half to get to donor floor. One day when I came in for my appointment the reception area was full and was told it would be a 2 hour wait. What, I thought I had an appointment. This location is understaffed. But I have to say that all the staff I have come in contact with are always nice and professional. Because of how long it takes I am considering to quit and maybe go back to CSL; it never took this long to donate there.
Staff is nice but I don't think they have much experience or training. Always had to be stuck at least twice and had bruising. Kind of difficult to get the full amount of pay when you have to donate twice a week, But can't donate with bruises that they cause. Definitely wasn't worth the money and pain for me. My last time donating was extremely painful and my arm was swollen and I could barely bend it. The bruising is horrible and is still painful 10 days later. Needless to say I won't be going back.
They allow people to make appointments that they ain't staffed to fulfill then wonder why people are aggravated when it's an hour after your appointment time and there is still 3 people before you. If your not staffed to fulfill the appointments don't allow them to be made!!! I feel Upper management really needs to be more involved or something to stop people from sitting here waiting for hours. Definitely considering a new plasma center Update!!!! So the conclusion yall came to was shorten hours of operati
Its mostly a great place. Appointments are helpful. However they reject college students who live in student housing??? Like what, really. My college student child that lives in student housing was rejected because her address is too risky. He has been donating at CSL for years and don't you test the plasma? What's too risky? I would think you would welcome college students that need to make some extra bucks! Luckily her lease there ends today and she is moving back in with me. So, heads up college students
I had another pleasant experience today. The staff is friendly and efficient. Once again in and out in less than one hour
TL;DR - Untrained techs sticking donors and unorganized donations. 3 stars for cleanliness. Much cleaner than CSL, and the appointment times are nice so there aren't ridiculously long lines. Also much better donor pay than CSL. I went to Biomat as I donated plasma years ago at CSL when I was a very poor single, working/student mother. I chose Biomat over CSL due to the new donor payouts. 1st visit to Biomat - a tech or whatever you want to call them - with NO experience tries to stick me, we'll call him
Just gave a donation and while donating the lady from the front desk inform me that this wasn't my first donation which it was it wasn't my first time being there yes but I left last time cause they couldn't get the needle in my arm and I was also nervous causing me to leave so since I left the lady said I would have to go threw the whole new donation process again which is why when I came in this time I told them I was new and this was my first time so while giving my donation she inform me instead of gett
I've never had blood pressure til I came here. I left Bio and went to the Doctor and blood pressure was fine. I've ask this place over and over again to recalibrate the machine but they think they know what they are doing. This place is the worst. You want ppl who know what they are doing? Don't come here you ll (out of know where) get high blood pressure. I've been to other plasma places in the past and this jas never happen and for it to be everytime I come here?
I love this place! They are friendly, efficient, and treat you like a human being instead of a number. The place is super clean, organized, and very detailed. They don't rush. They take their time and never seem to be rushed which benefits the donor. Thank you for all you do!
I haven't donated any plasma...I'm giving a review, because I can't sit inside, because of covid while my hubby donates plasma. It's hot and we don't have the best air in our vehicle and I don't have anywhere to go except to sit in the car while he donates. I'd give a better review if I could be inside in the air.
horrible phlebotomist . they can never find my vein but I go else where an they find my vein with no hesitation.. I will NEVER be back if I could give 0 stars I would . not to mention the las phlebo I had was their when I returned an didn't even wanna look at my veins again it was very rude . I'm a phlebotomist myself so I know! def don't recommend this place
Went to give plasma. Gionna was my phlebotomist and she was very kind and funny. Made sure to check on everyone. Highly recommend this place and if you see her. Tell her what's up. Zach and ahlayah were super attentive as well. Highly recommend
Jess and Ana are the BEST! So sweet and so fun and they always do the best sticks????
They are nice but they never answer the phone
Nice staff and you're in and out very fast
When I first started goingThe appointment time Didn't have a wait...now even if I make an appointment, there's still at least a 2 hour waiting period...call only has an hour wait....and they actually have more than one phlebotomist on shift.
This place is horrible the staff are very rude and act like they don't want you there one of the lady's couldn't even read correctly she called me by the wrong name there very unprofessional I would not recommend this location to anyone. I can't stress enough how rude the staff is they don't great you when entering they look at you like they don't want you there I'd like to find a main number to call and report them there that bad.
Great place and very clean and professional. The staff are always friendly. I have a favorite one, but I won't mention his name, he is really quick about it. Everyone goes to him for help...
The one thing I don't care for is the vulgar language in the music. I also over heard employees using foul language too
Staff is AMAZING FRIENDLY KIND GREAT ENVIRONMENT
This place cannot keep a staff. Everyone that was any good on drawing blood has left. Very high turnover employee rate. Mgmt must be horrible.
Ok let me say this....this is a great place however my wife and I drive a long distance to donate so we call and set up an appointment we arrive and for some reason our blood work from the first time we donated hadn't got back yet. My question is why didn't they tell us this when we called and set the appointments up?
Used to be good. Now they take for ever even when fully staffed. You get payed less and they increase the plasma you give.
Definitely the best place to donate. Appointment only, so no waiting. Friendly staff. Clean facility. Good compensation. Highly recommend.
they said had to make an appointment as first time donor. i did schedule but had to reschedule and they dont answer the phone
ID GIVE 0 STARS IF I COULD THEY DONT TAKE WALK INS YOU HAVE TO HAVE AN APPOINTMENT THATS 2 WEEKS OUT THAT'S CRAZY YALL GO TO CSL PLAMA THEY TAKE WALK INNS AND PAY MORE AND HAVE BETTER BENIFITS LIKE IF YOU GO THERE ENOUGH TIMES THERES NO WAITING IN LINE PLUS YOU GET AN EXTRA 20 TO 50 DOLLARS EACH TIME.... AND THEY HAVE BINGO. SOMETIMES TO GET AN EXTRA 20 TO 50 DOLLARS PLUS DRAWINGS TO WIN PRIZES. YOU CANT BEAT THAT ITS HANDS DOWN DROP THE MIC CSL HAS YALL BEAT. NO LIE 100% THEY KEEP IT REAL ALWAYS
They do not accept donations if you are on medication for diabetes. They fail to make this clear on the website and it is not specified on any intake documentation.
Schedule your visit wisely and it's a great experience. The staff here and the facility are fantastic
Terrible place. They only make appointments but will not answer the phone to take appointment.
They are a great place to earn extra cash while helping others
Definitely the best plasma center around! Quick, efficient, and professional!
Overall pleased with efficiency of staff and general kindness
Had a great experience at this location!
They NEVER answer the phone!
(Translated by Google) I have suffered discrimination from the Manager because I do not speak fluent English, after having donated on several occasions, not having any health problems and complying with everything they demand, they informed me that I will not be able to donate again, they even took me out after being in the waiting room to donate. Apparently the Manager considers that the plasma comes with the language included. On the other hand, the girls who do the work do very well. (Original) He sufri
(Translated by Google) I arrived at my first appointment and they turned me back and told me that I can't donate because I don't speak English. I would think it was discrimination or they would have told me from the beginning and I wouldn't have wasted my time. Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
