I've been donating plasma at Grifols twice a week for a while now, and overall, I've had a really positive experience. The first visit does take a bit of time ? you go through a thorough medical questionnaire and a quick, noninvasive physical to make sure you're eligible. After that, though, it's a smooth process. I've been going here for over a month now, and am very happy with this donation center. It's clean and well run. The staff knows what they're doing and handle everything well even when it's very busy. I highly recommend it!

It used to be good there?. Got there at 3:15 at 4 I still wasn't hooked up to a machine. My experience when I go is I watch 2-3 staff members running their asses and the rest are standing around talking to each other. Meanwhile you see the sympathetic ?I'm sorry ? looks from the staff that is working. I completely understand that we are being compensated to be there. But that doesn't mean our time is less valuable than the staffs. They are also getting paid to be there.

Some of the staff are nice, I went here only once but I'm about to go again. I was there for 2 hours my first visit and I hope it's not too long today. I made $125 last time and I hope to make the same again. I just wish some of the staff could put a smile on their faces so I wouldn't be afraid to raise my hand to tell them I'm sick. Last time I left and almost passed out, but I could have probably been prevented if I felt comfortable enough to raise my hand. But I'm going back to give it a second try. Good

At first it was super amazing getting a hundred bucks for my donation and then it was nice getting 40 and then 75 for the second one. I've donated like 13 times now. They've now lowered it to where you get 35 your first time and 40 your second time. The staff are super friendly. I've only had one scary situation there where somebody else had to come help the phlebotomist because she wasn't in the vein properly or something like that I don't know. I've donated i?m not even sure how many times. Each time i?ve went i?ve had issues with staff. they had poked my arm wrong many times missed my vein and I keep getting deferred. This is the second time I've gotten deferred. they don't know how to treat their patients sometimes and when you try to call and ask them questions, all they do is just give you point blank attitude I wouldn't recommend donating plasma unless you absolutely need to and if you do, I recommend just going to BioLife

This plasma center is really good. I've been coming twice a week for three months. However, there's been a staffing change that has really affected the quality of the experience. I have been a donor for over 5 years at Grifols but this location has become more and more frustrating for me. There is a lot less help up at the front desk and I find that my donation times are taking longer then when I was at another grifols location. The phlebotomists are great though. Most recently I have been on a hold due to a blood sample test and needed paperwork to fill out by my primary care physician. The staff are friendly. The key issue here is cleanliness and personal space. I feel disgusted seeing dried blood splatter right near my head and shoulders on the machine next to me. I see bloody cotton balls on the floor occasionally. The sharps cart is filthy, covered in plasma and blood splatter. Every time I go in I see them cut the tube into the biohazard canister and they're in such a rush liquids splatter out of the tube, and this time onto my leg. Great donating here. Really depends when you come. The morning staff is amazing! They are always efficient and attentive. The evening crew always seems understaffed, but when you are getting helped, they are great. Just usually a slower process because of the understaffing.

This spot is absolutely awful. Poor staff competence and no respect for those who are doing this on their own time whatsoever. I would not recommend coming here to anyone. Go to somewhere different or don't go at all. They gave me bruising that lasted over two weeks because of their staff?s incompetence at their job. Out of all of the donation for plasma places, I chose this one because they are very kind and they get things taken care of I really do appreciate. Also, Jack and Parker for making the issue. 18 people in line. No workers at the desk. Nobody got called in for a good 15 minutes. Unfortunately, this is all too common at this Biomat. They used to be super quick but now it seems they are super understaffed all of the time. The $105/week is becoming more and more not worth it. Great workers when they are working, but I wouldn't recommend donating at the Orem location.

I have been going to this Grifols for over a year now and I have had a great experience every time. Their staff are amazing and inviting, and have worked hard to make sure my donations have always been as comfortable and efficient as possible. Very disappointed that Grifols ended their weekly bonusing and yet still takes larger donation amounts (my average donation size went from 800 ml to avg 940 ml without extra compensation). For those of us who feel healthier when we donate less frequently (my doctor recommended fewer donations to prevent imnumo-compromising), we can't earn bonus amounts. Donate plasma here twice a week, if you time it right you can get in and out in a good amount of time! If you donate often you really form friendships with some of the workers. They are great people!

Donation went as expected. Service was good nothing exceptional but nothing bad either. My number 1 complaint is that a lady next to me was on her phone doing phone calls for the whole donation and all employees noticed but yet not one employee said anything. She was talking loudly and not even trying to hide the fact. Last I knew we are not allowed to do phone calls while donating. She was also talking about personal matters that I could tell was making people around her uncomfortable.

The entire staff is great! I've tried at ABO and BioLife and got denied because they couldn't get my blood pressure! Went here and was able to donate first try. They were super helpful with getting me in and out quick and efficient. Shoutout to Amanda for going above and beyond. She was great!

There's a plasma donation spot right across the street from my house. It is not a Grifols biomat. So when I decided to start donating plasma again, I looked at the reviews to see if it made sense to donate there closer to me, but the reviews were terrible and Grifols had really good reviews. I'm so glad I decided to come because all of the staff are really nice, they're very organized, I've never left waiting unnecessarily before or after my donation in the compensation is very fair

I've been donating for a few years now and I've got to say that this location has always been great to me. The staff are happy and personable when I come in. They are accommodating if I ever am I need of something and they are speedy even when they are swamped with people. I enjoy my time here. The phlebotomist staff are great. The communication by their front desk and medical staff is terrible. No one seems to know what they are doing and they have frequently provided me inaccurate information causing long delays in my ability to donate which has been very frustrating.

I basically never leave reviews, good or bad, but I just got deferred for two months because of two really poor mistakes at the Orem center. First, an employee didn't plug in the bowl to catch my blood. My donation lasted a minute, and they sent me home. I've been donating plasma here for over a decade and the consistent good experiences I have keep my coming back and have me recommending anyone to date plasma here. At times it can get busy and some of the phlebotomists as of late have been a little unprofessional and seem to be more concerned with finishing their conversations than working with the donors. This is a small few but it is noticeable. Regardless, I will continue to donate here and standby that this is the best place to donate plasma in Utah

Been donating here for almost 10 years. The phlebs are great! Unfortunately, the pay has been slowly decreasing month over month, making many of us wonder if it is still worth it. They also recently changed the amount you need to donate, so donations take longer, with decreased pay. Just seems like the company is getting more and more greedy, in a time that most people need every dollar.

Beware of false protein samples with no proof. Grifols only ?tests your protein? whenever they need to defer you. For their own financial gain. It is a business afterall. My doctor personally told me I have more protein than one person needs. But of course, Grifols disagrees based on what they need. Well here's a reality check guys, the people donating are more in NEED than any one of your ?super visors, managers and higher-ups??so do us the respect of at least telling us the truth about our sample results.
