Very convenient and flexible hours to choose to donate plasma. The Donor Hub makes it easier and gives you visibility of your donation history. Most importantly is that you don't get inactivity fees on the card for not using it and you can transfer the money to a bank account. I am very happy to be able to donate plasma and be one of the many saving lives!

This place is great and clean but what's going on with the low staff on certain days? Does staff just choose when they want to work or what? Seems to be happening more than often and it's only getting worse. I shouldn't have to wait in the lobby for 45-60 minutes past my appointment time with 10 others patients not being attended to.

Monday 6/23 morning around 10 am. Young woman by the name of Shaunte did not seem confident at all before she stuck me, she shook her head multiple times cause she could not find my vein. Again showing behavior that made me uncomfortable. She then proceeded to stick me with her hands shaking & not having a direct target on my vein. I felt a pain I had never experienced while donating plasma. She then began to look around as of now she wants to ask for help from a colleague. I was then re stuck. This behavio

the employees here do a fine job but I swear they are understaffed on purpose. wait time is an hour, 10 people in the waiting room, one employee at the counter. shame on these corporations for wasting everyone's time, including their employees. my last few visits have all been subpar experiences and I will not be coming back here.

This place use to be very organized and staff was always happy. Now with the new managers it looks like they don't know how the place works. They will put less staff when there is more people and now it takes from 3 to 4 hours just to donate and the new manager are never there to help them like the previous ones. Company needs to hire more experience managers.

I got deferred for over a week for not disclosing a minor iodine allergy that I forgot about costing me almost $200 in donations. I better get a bonus or I'm never coming back and leaving this negative review up. Complete lack of attention to detail from so-called "professionals." Ridiculous.

I went for the first time last week. It was a very simple process and the staff was amazing. During the actual plasma donation, the team asked me multiple times if I was okay. They care and pay attention. The actual donation is pretty quick and does not hurt!

Spent 45 minutes here this morning. Signed up, did all the paperwork. Got 2 fingers jabbed for blood took blood pressure only to be told after all of this I could not donate because I have full sleeve tattoos and company policy doesn't allow injection site to be over a tattoo regardless of tattoo age. If that's the policy then make that known Pryor to making people go through the intake process. Don't waste your time here. Lots of other places in San Diego that are more customer orientated.

Everything I asked UP FRONT before I drove out, they lied. My son is a donor and referred me. When I called, I was told yes the $50 referral would be his if he was in the system. He is in the system, BUT at a different location with the SAME company, (which they did NOT disclose when asked) so they said after arriving, he would not get paid. I also asked on the phone, if I bring someone with me today, would that be my referral? I was told yes. Also a lie. I needed to come alone the first time and get regist

My experience was just rude as soon as I walked in with my fiance. The phlebotist here see it as a game to code another co worker when they see someone to be intimidated by. Last time I checked talking about raves and flirting with men wasn't part of being a phlebotist. So I'm just baffled that it's happening, and quite frankly feel like it was far from professional.

Been coming to donate since 2023 and just this year 2025 their service has gone from 100 to a -10. The wait just to check in the front is over 45min and they always have the same one employee in the front, Lupe , she is amazing and does her best to do things quick while still being the best at customer service. It's unfair for the staff and us as customers to see a full lobby of donors and one single rep attending to all. Also you step to the back and are dealing with staff trying to adapt to management new

Honestly I never really take the time out to write reviews but I felt like I needed to this time. I came into today at 7am on a Sunday. Moved pretty decent. The staff - 100% absolutely amazing. Very thorough and helpful in the first time donor process. While actually in the donation process, they are extremely attentive and super friendly. I got a little dizzy but they made sure I felt better and checked in with me every here and there. I have to say for my first time I was very lucky to have the staff ar

I've been donating here for about 6 months and haven't had a whole lot of issues. I read some of the negative comments here and I'm surprised at how bad some people?s experience seems to be. I have noted that they sometimes are understaffed during very busy times. The staff are friendly and easy to get along with. They seem to know what they're doing. You need to keep your iron levels up ? eat a lot of spinach ? because you can't donate if your hematocrit is low. I also think the payment system is good. I

Some of the most drama seeking rudest staff ever. Deferred indefinitely. This company will find any little stupid reason to defer you. If you want to save a burnt bridge go to a different plasma place. This is just my personal experience though. If I could give 0 stars I would!

I feel poor low on income.. when at this location.. it's a choice to stand in long lines at 6am now 7am on a Tuesday for 40$.. understaffed.. always

Nice, clean and fast most staff are very nice shout out to nurse Maddy! Very informative and kind I wished I remembered other staff members names! Nurse Ramona is very kind as well

Everyone is so friendly sometimes they do raffles for bikes and other stuff. Its close to the bus. The first time takes about 2-3 hours, its along time but you get $60. But every time after that is about 1 hour if you book your appointment. 20 min for the questionnaire and check up and 40 min for the donation.

If you don't got hours to waste don't bother, if they put your profile on hold, they will want you to redo the hour and half of processing. Evening if it's an easy fix

i love donating here, they always make me feel welcome. every single time i donate i walk out very satisfied, i also like my new cup

Horrible service and they won't let you donate if you have low blood pressure according to their defective machines. I know for a fact I'm not doing 60/30 and yet there's no way to overpass that. No help and a huge waste of time. Plus they don't respect appointments. Waited and hour to be tended to with one.

I appreciate the welcoming environment and friendly staff at the plasma donation center. However, I believe the current compensation rate of $40 is inadequate and should be standardized at $70 per donation. The recent price reductions implemented by plasma banks over the years, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic, have gone largely unchallenged, leading to a decline in donor participation. It is essential to address this issue to ensure the sustainability of plasma collection and support donors who co

So today I walked in at 7:30 and checked in. I logged on and couldn't, it directed me to see an employee. The employee then said that she didn't know why, but that I had to do my physical again. This is just ridiculous, for anyone who has done this process, it takes 2-3 hours. This was my 3rd time returning. First time, they took a sample, second time I donated, and this would have been my second donation, and 3rd visit. The employees are nice, but I will never return here, so unorganized. Nobody has time to

New donors are only available to come weekdays from 8am-12pm and on weekends 7am-10am. Wish they answered their phone or put that on their website ! They probably super busy so I understand. Will be back on the weekends.

if you come at the very end they say your BP are too high and make you go home this is the 4th time happening to me but when I come early never a problem

All the staff are great. And very professional. They help in making you feel comfortable and at ease during the donation process.

Saving lives matter. ... very good professional employees for the most part... there's one employer that's very rude her name is SERA she's very unprofessional rude with the patience. Now Victoria is very kind professional she took the time to look around and notice that I was still waiting to be process she, immediately got my folder and take care of me and got me in the back quick.Very kind of her.we need more like her. Now SERA needs to learn from Victoria on how she takes care of her patients...she's ver

It's always clean here, and the staff has always been friendly. Online appointments are easy. Just come in knowing that it's a process that takes time- a lot of people come through every day, it's not instantaneous. They do a good job of keeping everyone in order of service, and I've never felt overlooked or ?skipped?. I really appreciate the cleanliness. Honestly I expected to have potential payment issues with how it's done, but I've never had an issue! Bring a jacket!

Catty and inconsiderate 20-somethings who don't understand customer service, professionalism, or care if you feel left out of the conversation because you don't understand Spanish. I'm tired of hearing workplace gossip and humming along to annoying music. Nobody works with any sense of urgency. I've been late for work on multiple occasions due to the poor service of the staff. I've left with bruised arms on multiple occasions. If you have to ask for a re-stick because someone didn't know what they're doing,

Biggest waste of time. Went here three times to donate. Last time I was told they didn't have time with only two other people waiting. The person that told me she didn't have time found the time to prop herself on the counter and stare off into space however! Don't waste your time going here.

The Employees at Grifol are nice and friendly always helping and working with everybody. They deserve a raise, such wonderful n helpful people

This plasma center is truly amazing very clean and safe environment the nurses and all personnel are extremely nice they make you feel comfortable they have absolutely no attitude and treat you well and do they job with professionalism

Slow not enough staff working during traffic hours extra hour almost every time I donate

I highly recommend this place. The staff here is really nice and kind, the attention is great, they guide you through all the procedure and solve any doubts you have. The place is very clean and tidy, it makes you feel comfortable since everyone does their job really well and it's organized perfectly. I was very satisfied with the service and I'm definitely coming back soon.

Excelent service. Clean place like most hospitals in town. Nurses were very nice and helpful. After getting the application for making appointments furthermore its super easy to get in-donate-walk out to keep moving on!

I have personally had a pretty great experience at this location. I absolutely adore the staff! I have noticed at times they seemed a little understaffed but I always make sure I have a good chunk of my day free in case of delay. It is very clean and professional and such a nice way to give back and put some good out in the universe!!

Horrible communication! Apparently as of April 1 2023 they close at 2 PM. While their website says they close at 3 PM, their front door says they close at 8 PM & Their automatic system says nothing of their new hour changes. I got here three minutes after my appointment started was told I could not be seen today due to hour changes I was unaware of. Anyone who has ever donated here knows very well when you have an appointment, you were NOT taken back immediately typically 7- 10 minutes after your appointmen

Biome best center ever. Nora is the nicest and friendliest and most helpful staff I have come across and I've been to many plasma centers in 2 different states!

I've been donating here since November of 2019. Very friendly and professional staff. Extremely clean facility. Recently though they have been experiencing a severe staff shortage which can make the wait time a bit long. Sometimes up to an hour from check in until you actually make it to the back and then an additional 10-20 minutes before you actually get poked. Makes it hard for those of us that come on our lunch break. Other than that, I'd recommend this facility. I've had no issues with payments

A great place to earn a couple of bucks while helping others in need. The facility is clean and organized; the staff kind, knowledgeable and attentive; and with an appointment, wait times generally aren't too terrible. Some days can run slower than others - but given the nature of this service that can be expected from time to time. First time donors make great cash, but expect to show up early and stay a minimum of three hours to complete the initial screening process. Don't expect anyone to answer the ph

Great place, employees are always very kind and attentive. Easy check in and the process is very quick.

Highly unprofessional front desk worker enrolling new patients. Not sure of her name but I do know she had dark hair and glasses. This woman visibly rolled her eyes and tossed her head sighing which is disgusting behavior for anyone working dealing with people! Upset at my forms of ID or even just me trying to enroll. All employees should be aware of all forms of ID listed on your businesses website that is accepted. Another one of the ladies there a shorts Hispanic joined trying to make me believe I was w

I've been donating here on and off sense 2018 and every time I come back it seems to get worse. They are understaffed. The staff that they are able to maintain are under payed, poorly trained and work long hours. The rewards continue to be reduced to the point where a regular donner can expect as little as $40 even if they are donating twice a week. I tried to call them three times today and got no answer. Its true that the whole industry is built around buying poor peoples bodily fluids for way less than

I've been donating at this establishment for a few years now off and on. I have had nothing but good experiences. Their payment prices have gotten a lot more progressive then the past. The staff is always polite and helpful. They do get busy and it may seem understaffed at sometimes. But they do their best to accommodate and to make sure you get seen quick. At the end of the day, you can't beat getting paid for only a hour and a half of your time. I highly recommend this establishment.

Best place in town. The staff is very kind. They help you with all your doubts about the process. They care about you, they give you a warm welcome. All the equipment seems new and clean. I'm looking forward to coming back and donating again!

I've heard wonders about this place?s work ethic and staff. The waiting time is long but necessary for a first time plasma donor, which shows the amount of dedication and patient care invested into this establishment. Several people who have donated here, keep recommending it, expressing their great experiences and I'm glad the community has a safe place to offer their help and aid a person in need.

Every time I have come here it has been difficult to get good service. There is always new nurses who don't have answers to my questions, my appointments can't seem to be booked and information that is forgotten/not given to me. I'm a new donor but it makes this process really frustrating when I ask a question and they have to leave to go ask someone else. I understand that new nurses are being trained here and that's good that they receive training here but there doesn't seem to be head nurses or any super

The staff are all really friendly and professional. The overall facility is also clean, and I've never had a bad experience in my time here. Would recommend this place for anybody interested in donating plasma for the first time.

The attention was pretty much excellent, I felt welcomed, well treated, and comfortable while my visit there. Everything was professional and the plasmapheresis procedure was good at every moment. The workers were very informative about the risks.

Every time I come in, the staff is always kind . The wait time has been significantly reduced due to their efficient staff. Appointments are made on the app which is very easy & makes things organized & quick! This is a great location.

I've been donating at this place for a while and I have no major complaints. Some people are great, others not so much just like any other place. Luis really cares about donor's well-being. I wish the computer system was updated to make the screening questionnaire faster and had an app to make scheduling easier and better keep track of donations.

I've been donating here for a couple of months. The staff is very efficient and skilled at what they do. They are always friendly and accommodating. I really appreciate the simplicity in every visit and the ability to make and change my appointments online. I would highly recommend.

This place has the friendliest staff ever. They have really stepped up their game from when I first came to donate. Service is now on point fast and efficient.

Staff is friendly, facility is fairly clean (except for bathrooms, those tend to smell like pee, have unknown substance stuck to top of trash can for months and out of paper towels half the time), appointments rather than waiting in line, they have lots of extra pay incentives and raffles monthly. They also pay better than other locations. Its conveniently located, plenty of parking. UPDATE 6/17/2022: I am updating my review because this center made it right; However, FAIR WARNING TO DONORS-if you give you

The employees have been kind and helpful to me overall and I appreciate that. Wait time has been fine, 2-3 hrs is what they list on their website and it's never taken me over 3 hours. Drink lots of water if you want your donation to go faster. The bathrooms have been clean more often than not. The interior of the facility is a little outdated but I wouldn't let that keep me from donating.

Great plasma center where you can help people and receive a good gratification. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Easy to schedule an appointment on the app so you don't have to wait in line for too long. I've been donating for a couple months already and I have no complaints!

I've donated 45 times @ Grifols and I can say the overall experience has gotten worse . Donor compensation has gone significantly down , despite the barrage of texts and emails that they send out saying how desperately they need your donation. They are understaffed significantly from when I first began donating , resulting in a much longer appointment duration. The staff has also become unfriendly and at times , rude and inconsiderate . I've stopped referring others to donate here due to the awful experienc

Super friendly staff, extremely well kept and clean, and most importantly, everyone really makes you feel comfortable and welcome. I can tel that the staff try to get to know everyone and create an enjoyable social atmosphere. And the donations go to great cause in helping save lives and providing essential medicine. Highly recommend going to this donation center

This place is pretty clean and usually pays you within 5 minutes upon leaving. You can typically get right into your car and get gas only one block away without having to wait or contemplate. Very nice.

Unprofessional, Incompetent, Rude, Inconsiderate. A round trip from home to donation center is 62 miles. On multiple occasions after driving down to make a scheduled donation I am rejected because their of their undependable scheduling program. It will schedule appointments and when you show up you're told you won't be seen even though their very own website and scheduling program set the appointment. I've had a number of these happen. I have seen other people rejected for similar incompetencies. Another e

I have been going here for about a year and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. All of the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The service they provide is quick and efficient. If you are looking to getting into donating plasma while making a little extra money on the side I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Everyone that works there is pretty nice. Alex is one of the nicest humans alive and he makes each person feel like the only donor there. Natalie and Robert are also really awesome. Truly everybody is usually real friendly. Every once in awhile you get somebody grumpy. But they wouldn't be human if they weren't :)

Some of the workers here are very sloppy. They stick you without lpaying attention and miss the vein. Than adjust roughly and end up hurting you. Some wrap your arm and 3 mins later on your way home you start leaking blood all over. This will be my last visit I refuse to keep going thru this every week.

Great service! The staff is always attentive and professional. It was my first time donating and I felt welcome and comfortable. Definitely coming back!

I used to wait for hours at another place. These guys are quick. You check in and at your scheduled time you hit the kiosk, and are in the back before you know it. They're super clean, especially in these covid times, and even more friendly if you want to chat!

This place is a good place to go donate and staff are always nice and professional. The only problem I do have is trying to get a hold of someone to ask questions about eligibility for the donation or make appointments. My log in to make an appointment online does not work and I leave several messages and no call back, I have even emailed corporate and no response. They message me to come in and donate but I can't if they don't get back to me? You would think the corporate office would step up.

I've been donating here for almost 2 years. Staff members are very friendly and helpful. Few times I've had infiltration issues but the nurses were well-equipped to handle in such instances.

I've started coming here for about a month now and I have no complaints. The staff is helpful and the return visits are fairly quick check in process. They also play good music to help the donation go by faster.

I've been a plasma donor since 2019 and have donated probably over 100 times. I usually have no problem with the donation. The process is done within 30-40 min and the payment is quickly transferred to a card. This past year, however, I have had a few painful experiences which have led me to not want to return. For some reason, during the last few donations, I've had to have the needle readjusted multiple times, which is not a pleasant process. It just seems like they're fishing for anything in hopes of fin

I've been donating here a couple months now, and I have nothing but positive things to say. I was nervous upon first being recommended to this center, but upon my first experience here the center was clean and the staff was welcoming and professional. After a couple more visits I only had better and better experiences. I will say the staff are so efficient and so friendly, it's quite relieving since the process might be scary or a little nerve racking to some. I've never felt nervous or impatient here and I

Friendly staff, professional and efficient! They really do go above and beyond. Everyone is always extremely helpful. The facility is always maintained clean. I highly recommend this place to all of my friends & family.

Staff is excellent, informative and acst like they really care! I am Usually in and out pretty quickly. Great way to help others while helping yourself and I get to read a book while doing it! Highly recommend donating here!

This location has great customer service... The staff are always nice and friendly, and they know how to take care of their donors. This is the only plasma center that will ever get my plasma donations.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone staff is very rude I've been going here for years since 2018 one of the best donors this place can get. They make system simple error mistake then banned me for life from returning. All the staff including manament are extremely rude and this place should be shut down for violations and not properly training phlebotomist correctly. Staff incompetent and never really paying attention to patients, staff isn't trained right. staff is always hurting patients bruising the

This facility is vey clean and sanitary. Stacy along with many other of their employees like Alex as well have always been kind and helpful. I've been coming here for some years and will keep coming. I also appreciate that I can ask for a slower poke, just feels safer to me. thank you everyone!

I wish I knew about donation decades ago! Since I discovered donation, I have referred 4 others who, in turn, have referred others. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable. The process is (mostly) painless, but tolerable. And, for the most part, I can be In & Out without an hour or so. The payments have paid for most of my groceries & gas for the past year now.

Biomat is a well ran place. Never too long of a wait. Staff is good and friendly. Been donating there for 5 years. Biomat staff are very nice and efficient. Place is always clean, and professional. I have been donating there since 2016, and will continue to do so

It is near impossible to get signed up as a new donor. They have specific hours that you have to be there, you can't make an appointment and even if you get there early & within the specific times they will turn you away because they can't keep enough nurses on staff. I have been waking up extremely early & following the guidelines for days & keep getting turned away for no reason other than them being short on staff. Ridiculous. Update: The location in Chula Vista is properly staffed & accommodating.

They need to allow new donors to make appointments or have a specific time window when they should show up. My husband has been rejected 4 times with half the reasons being they didn't have the staff to process a new donor at the time we arrived. It takes 2x as long to process a new donor over a repeat so I'm not sure why they wouldn't do appointments. (Also if you make it that difficult on people, no wonder they have to beg for donors.) Other than that, the staff is nice and the facility is very clean and

I have been coming to this center since december and the staff is very nice and professional but you also kind of get to know each other which is awesome. I always hydrate daily but especially more the 24 hours before my appt eat plenty of high protein meals and hydrate up to the hour before my appt. Like literally a gallon or more the day before and about half before I'm seen :) this place is amazing, always clean and donating goes quickly bring a stress ball though for the time you need to pump it helps s

I have been donating here for a few months now. The staff is friendly and skilled. I have noticed there are times when it takes a bit longer to be seen when they are short staffed, but even then they try to get you in and out as quickly as possible. This facility is clean and efficient and I would recommend to come here for plasma donation services!

I've been coming here on and off for years. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Facility is clean sometimes it does get busy due to low staffing but they are organized. Donate, and save a life!

I've overall have had a great experience donating here. The Staff has always been super kind and very professional. Kudos to the Nurses and Marci she's a sweetheart!

I've ALWAYS had a pleasant experience with the staff here! They really work hard at keeping the wait time to a minimum. EVERY phlebotomist is phenomenal! From the the beginning to completion, EVERYONE is kind, considerate and professional. The facility is always clean! I HIGHLY recommend this location for your next plasma donation!!!

This place is an excellent facility. As a retired RN I am picky about clinical procedures, efficiency and cleanliness and this place delivers on all three. I have found the staff compassionate and patient in an extremely busy environment. I feel totally comfortable in donating at this facility, by far better than others in the area.

The first time to go to donate it will take awhile due to making sure all questions are answered regarding your health and information received. Once you've done that you become familiar with the phlebotomist. They always make sure you are comfortable and also make sure you know what's going on. Always a great experience and the process is simple. Just drink your water, bring a good book, have a good playlist and relax. The appointment service is also simple and easy to follow.

I have been coming here for a few years now & the staff are soooo nice & friendly plus they are very knowledgeable on what they do it's painless. Very clean establishment I would recommend donating here a million time. The vibe is very welcoming.

Been coming here a decade. There are periods when things run smoothly, then there are periods where you can tell management is faulty. Twice this year they have "forgotten" to add bonus specials to my account. They always claim "staff shortages"...but their HR hiring department seems to be penny pinching and will hire at a snails pace. Debating not coming back to location...?????

I have been donating here for over a year. It's a good way to help others and make a little extra money. The facility is clean and the staff are friendly. Most of them remember my name as soon as I walk in even though they might see hundreds of people a day. I highly recommend donating here if you are healthy and live in the area.
