Ghetto. Will leave you on the machine for 15 - 30 mins after your donation is finished. Loud and unprofessional staff. Avoid this place
I went here many years ago got into an argument with someone and they permanently deferred me even after this long this place is not professional to hold a grudge this amount of time is ridiculous
I received a phone call from Cassandra on Tuesday 8/ 6/24 that the center will be opening later on Wednesday 8/7/24 which was my appointment date she asked if 9 o'clock AM would be ok I then said yes. I arrived a little after 8 o'clock into the building to ask someone to help me close my apps so that I could answer the questionnaire, my internet had gone down because of Hurricane Debby. The young man in booth 1 did assist me with closing the app so that I could proceed with the process. I went back out to t
I only gave three stars because of the original ppl I would see when I would donate . The ladies they have in the back preparing you to give plasma are very inappropriate and unprofessional. I wasn't going to do a review but one of the ladies definitely violated HIPAA talking about a donor's deferral from another facility & the reason. They are ALWAYS talking about donors in a bad way , it's awful. And Tory & Cassandra are the only ones professional in the back . It's disgusting. They need to find a differ
This was a horrible experience. After they asked me the same questions with three different people. They took me back to start drawing blood, it took over an hour and they had different people walking around helping different machines and one person came up and said why did they set it this machine like this. Then my vein clogged up and they had to put it in a different vein. Because it took so long I had to use the bathroom really bad. And there was no one around just one person helping 15 people. The gree
Great for extra cash and great staff. Three years and still going strong to help others live a better life and some extra funds for me, so....all I do is win win win no matter what....
Unfortunately this establishment seems to be on a downward trend of half-measure improvements over the past 6 months. A new identification number for us to memorize? Fine. Scheduled appointment times? Sure would be nice if the appointment times were even remotely accurate. Hiring new staff to be able to handle the influx of new donors? That's great. But a bit pointless when half the donor beds are removed. I like being able to donate plasma, it's relatively painless and makes a big impact in the lives of
It's a very friendly and fun atmosphere. All the staff are very professional and care about the donors. From the admin staff to those in phlebotomy, you will feel safe at home and get a good laugh from the front desk till to leave. Shout out to AC,Vannah,Torrey,Drew,Scott,Shania,Lisa,Ayanna,YaYa, and the whole crew.
lol 1st I wanna say. I've donated for years and yes I should?ve had my arm straight out and been relaxed when they took my blood pressure .. but my arm was bent and I was txting ?. I take responsibility on my part.. but isn't it also the employees responsibility to tell the patient ? ?hey keep ur arm straight for this please? ?. So the blood pressure was high.. and my argument is ?. How can you use the numbers when their incorrect, regardless of who's fault it is? the blood pressure was done wrong ? so I ga
The workers are nice but there is a clear staffing issue. Most of the time I come there are always many people waiting to be started on. It seams as though not everyone on the floor is able to stick people which doesn't seam to make any sense as they therefore cannot keep up with the number of donors waiting to donate. I feel it's frustrating when you make an appointment and don't start donating until an hour later. Many people are coming here after working a long day because they either need the extra mone
I have been coming twice a week almost every week since August of this year. I've taken a break or two but every single time I come my experience is over the top. They play movies while you're waiting and are very friendly considering they spend long days and hours sticking people. They make sure you're comfortable and just are an overall great staff! They offer free wifi but it is super cold! I'd recommend planning to stay between 1-3 hours and bring a blanket or a jacket!
By far the best experience I've ever encountered or heard from others. The staff are all awesome and always do an amazing job! Ms. Lisa is always smiling which is contagious:) Always have a fast and easy donation. Never have I had a bad experience here. Free Wi-Fi is always a plus too! 100% would recommend!
First time donor process is lengthy, but that should be expected. I spent 5 hours there my first time and was in and out in under 2 hours for my follow up donation two days later. Get in as early as you can. There are a handful of wonderful people on staff who are knowledgeable and polite. You could tell that they actually cared about what they were doing and wanted to make sure donors were comfortable and well informed. The woman who conducted my physical Thursday afternoon was amazing and I wish I could
I like the staff. Only one has had a bad attitude. Most the women are really easy on the eyes. They just need more employees when they are busy. Other than that I love the fact that I'm helping to save lives. The pay could be better also. Big Pharma can afford it. LOL.
Every time I've gone to donate the staff has been professional and friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming. The place is always neat and clean. Equipment seems to be working properly at all times and visits are easy and doesn't take much time from start to finish
The staff is amazing Ms. Cassondra, Ms.Dominique and also Mr. Loyd, Mr. Tory ,Mr.Noah and also phlebotomist Donika or Tanika I'm trying remember but she's very nice.they all handles everything and everyone like a pro??????they're very outstanding !!!!!
Always have a great time with the amazing staff who run this facility. For a medical lab facility they make you very comfortable and take great measures to make sure you are taken care of during your donation. They are always professional ans courteous and always make my day when I make a donation.
Update: When it comes to new donor pay whether it is a brand new donor or a donor coming back after a year long lapse, you need to CLEARLY post the ?new donor? pay to not mislead the donors coming back after being gone for 1 year or more. That is extremely misleading. Also, this company has the worst donor pay. It used to be so much better during the pandemic. You absolutely need to have a BIG arm cuff in EVERY SINGLE screening booth. Having only 1 big arm cuff in only 1 screening booth & then that booth
Thus far, the process is ok. I do recommend the posts be answered with what the solution to an issue will be if possible. Platitudes of gratefulness for donations does nothing to elate the comments submitted. Don't just check the box but offer a thoughtful solution. This includes explanation of policy if the donor is incorrect in post. Remember, respect means a reply to a situation, not just a response that simply acknowledges that there may be a problem with the process of donating. We must all do bette
If their was an option for zero stars then I would rate this center on whitebluff zero stars(on the behalf of 2 staff members they know who they are) I was going to this center for many years now and I'v had a great experience for the most part. Lately things have change for the worst it's not the center mainly its employees that they hire I've been cursed out before talked about left unattended when their was complications during donating. They also like to rig your temperatures when they dont like you (tr
Incredibly personable staff and pleasant experience. The donation center is more comfortable than another I've attended, and the donation process is quicker.
I been donating here for at least six years and never had an issue with employees and/or my payment. The phlebotomist are well trained and expert in not my veins, but the most challenging veins as well. Specifically, Amber is one of the phlebotomist that I would recommend to assist you; great personality; very communicated and knows what she's doing! Don't miss out on this free money!!!
I been goin here since I been 18. I have never experienced the staff being so short and not having the supplies they needed. I feel that letting Terry go was the worse thing this place could have did. Not only that Terry actually interact and make everyone feel comfortable and appreciated. The new person they keep saying not going to take Terry place doesn't even seem to want to be bothered with the donors. This place is going to get even worse. #BringTerryBack
It's funny how these places can get their worst reviews hidden somewhere down the line of reviews and keep their best reviews at the top of the list even though there is a constant change in staff and the way the business is run instead of showing new reviews at the very top with up to date information on how the business is doing and treating customers. It's a shame that we have to search through the reviews or click the newest button to find current reviews. The Biomatbcenter on White Bluff in Savannah,
Honestly a horrible place to come. I didn't mind at first but this place is so poorly ran. I have spent over 3 hours the last 5 times I have come. I was told one by a lady that I am unable to wear certain clothing because I am "more blessed" back there. Well I'm sorry that my clothing didn't fit the dress code that is stated no where, also spoke to a manager, doesn't exist. Mean while there are some pretty questionable people who walk through that door every time I am here. Next, they give you a "VIP card"
I've been going there off and on for almost a year and have never been hurt. Usually get out in 2 hours or so. First time visit can take a long time, go early. You make much more money if you donate twice in one week. They have specials that change monthly.
Subpar customer experience. The process can take 3-4 hours depending on the day. I've shown up sometimes only to discover that the center is closed due to a meeting. On one such occasion I asked why I did not hear about the center?s delayed opening that day. A staff member?s response was that signs were posted around the building over the weekend with that announcement. I'm sure there are those of us who do not live near the center or even think to come by everyday to check the center?s opening status.
The first time I came as a new donor it was not bad just a long wait. However my second visit was with different staff, very unprofessional & no one was answering the phones up front. Kwayne was very helpful. I most likely will not go back , not to say no one else should not donate , but my second experience was not very pleasant.
Awful customer service. I called on Monday 5 Jan 2018 to set an appt. The girl I spoke to didn't seem at all interested in my call.... then when I explained that I get off work at 3pm M-F and wouldn't be able top get there any earlier than about 4pm (driving from Beaufort SC) she said they stop taking new patients at 4:30. I asked if I needed to schedule an appt as I am a new donor. She said "no, I will just let them know you will be here around 4". So I went to work Tuesday 6 Jan 2018 prepared to leave f
My first time was awesome! I was so nervous but they walked and talked me through everything. I was even give a little snack bc you HAVE TO eat before donating as well as drink plenty of water.
Always had a pleasant donation experience. Staff is great. Always had my husband and I laughing. We've moved away from the area since.. Won't forget Ms Tianna, Ms Lisa, Ms Letitia, Dom and Tim.. (Ms Kay won't forget my scar tissue either I'm sure haha) Thanks to all of you.. Ms Mary and Michael
I been coming here since 2019. Staff is always friendly and professional. Never had a bad experience. The place is always clean. Thank all staff membes for making it a safe and clean place to donate.
It should be expected, if you are a new donor, that you will be there...more than 2.5 hours. ...though it got unnecessarily difficult over the course of a week to become a donor again, I was successful. It's worth it, but be able to invest the whole time needed... Hydrate and eat well... Sall good...11 September 2018
Refused to Pay me after tech was unsuccessful sticking my arm. Spoke with management and he said he would see what he can do. I do not recommend this place at all. Biolife is a much better experience and will not operate unprofessionaly like Biomat Savannah. Avoid.
I understand trying to go by appointments to save time and streamline this process, but my appointment was 10:45 at 12:06 I still hadn't even gotten started with the actual donation. I don't have 3-4 hours to do a donation that should take 45 minutes to an hour.
Biomat is an absolute great place to earn extra money, while doing something positive. Staff is extra friendly, from intake to processing up until the actual donation I am always treated important. Ms Debbie walked me through everything, & made sure I understood every detail. I love to interact with Lisa, Tim, & Leticia. They are the best. It's not often you can go places and people take their time to explain details. Plus they have Free WiFi!!?? Free Money & Free WiFi where can you go wrong?
I've been selling plasma since 2011. I have never had a problem with them since this year. The last time I donated plasma, the machine shut down on me. It's $50 your first donation and $75 your second, but after that it's only $30 and $20. Be prepared to wait for six hours on your first visit and two to four hours on the rest of the visits. Some of the staff is very rude too.. make this your last resort if ur desperately doing it for the money.
The only thing to like about this place is the money! The staff is very unprofessional and rude!! They treat you as If your needy, when I'm the one donating plasma to save someone else's life! Make this place your last resort!! Frfr FYI first time donar? 6 hour min wait.. after that , your next visits can vary from 1 hour and 30 mins to 4 hours.. I found 2 employees that we're nice. . ??????????
All I can say is This place is ridiculous. I have a picture ID with my correct address where I have recided in the same room & address for almost 2 years ( & other forms of residency/proof) but because I live in a motel they wont except me as a donor. Talk about discrimination ?? also one of my favorites is "we do not have your file on site!" Well that makes no sense because this is the only one I have ever been to to try and donate... also I have physically seen homeless people and meth heads donate here.
They are very well organized. The staff are friendly and work at a multitasking rate to make sure the donors are taking care of and happy. 5 star ratings here!
Well it's pretty good and fun the workers are the best they make you feel comfortable and keep a laugh going lol I like it....Letitia is nice friendly and funny....but everyone is wonderful.....
The worst company ever. The wait was ridiculous. You are donating to save a life but the staff is talking about what they are doing when there off. It is very unorganized and unprofessional. If you come bring a book you will be here for about 6 hours at least.
Biomat Savannah is very unprofessional and racis. They employees are very rude and ghetto everyone expect Lila Tianna Dj Kyle and a few others Dj is and wonderful phleb. However I feel that that center is poorly ran management sucks rude and has a poor attitude . The manager and supervisor sits up and flirt with each other, the floor can never get help it's been times I have sat for hours not just for the money but just to see if anyone would come to help out eventually, I've over heard employees talk bad a
So today I called to ask a few questions and was told by the woman who answered the phone that if I was there by 4 I was fine. I was there by 3:45 and there another woman who was hateful and wouldn't allow me to donate.
I've been coming to Biomat since I was 18 , and not once have I felt unwelcome or disrespected. The entire staff treats me as if I'm family . It's always smiles , laughs and consistency from this place
Got to the back and waited 45 min in the chair before getting stuck. After I finished I learned that people that were in the lobby were seated and stuck before me. Either un-professionalism , or specific patient favoritism. Came in at 115, didn't leave until 330 because I was neglected in the back. Disappointed.
The service was really nice! But I guess I'm sensitive because it felt very comfortable the whole time. Lovely service. If you're good around hospitals you'll be good.
Just not ?? worth it. Very unprofessional which causes chaos which then causes what happened to me (see photos). Btw your meeting didn't work the employees just walk around now talking about remember the meeting we are supposed to be professional ???? ???????
For the time that I've been going to Biomat USA they have been patient and pleasant towards every donor that walks through there doors. They ensure you that you are saving a life each visit you come to.
I enjoyed my experience at the Biomat Usa in Savannah ga. i received great customer service from the staff . they made me feel at home. they answered all of my questions when i asked . they comforted me.
Friendly and good payment. Can get busy on some days but usually at 10 am to 11 am on Tuesdays and Fridays is quick
Any time I visit biomat I am welcomed with smiles and amazing personalities. I am treated with respect by all workers and I highly suggest returning especially if you need a little pocket chamge and a boost in positivity!???
With the exception of Terry and Ms. Lisa Biomat Savannah has A LOT of unprofessional employees. People in the office, who apparently are supervisors, as well as the people who stick you and take your vitals can be very rude to the patients. This is the exact reason why I don't refer people to this place. I could care less about bonus money.
I luv coming here to donate . Ty so much Anna for taking pride in making sure u make me feel comfy sticking me my scar tissue can be stubborn lol.. Ty also to Dee Dee and Makala, for being so awesome
The Biomat has the most friendless staff, also Terry is one of the most funniest person there. Lisa will help you with anything that you would like to know about donation. Plus donation can save a life # Let's Help Out.......
I have always had a fear of needles, but this place has me coming back regularly. I enjoy seeing the familiar faces and it makes me feel good to know that I'm helping others that need plasma.
I love coming here . You get your money as soon as you're done . It's lifesaver & a life changer . I don't know what I'll do without it . They are so nice & kind to you . They will make sure you are ok & that everythin? is fine with you .
This place is trash went twice a had to do paperwork over again every time. Prepare to sit there for about 5 hours. Customer service is NOT GOOD AT ALL. I would not recommend
Every time I come to grifols it's always a good experience the people are nice and friendly and always respectful...they answer all my questions and make it fun while I donate.....Lisa is my favorite because she always know where to stick me at and it never hurts....I would recommend this for anyone and I have ....good job biomat team
Very friendly staff. Relaxing atmosphere. They have TV to watch and wifi. Aside from the free money for donations, people really benefit from the plasma donations
My boyfriend donated plasma today. He ate subway prior, It took 5+hrs to complete the donation. Once he came home he was okay; drunk water, ate dinner as usual etc. Next thing you know he woke me up around 4 A.M showing me a large (quatersize: half a golf ball) lump where they inserted the needle. Its also black and purple with soreness. No he is not a wild sleeper and no actions took place to irritate it.
They some b.s.,they professional to who they wanna be professional too.and their rude.and when their told about their rude behavior they have a problem with you.....but there's a couple of reviews that back that up.and the person running the facility....they need some one with a better attuide.your there to draw blood.keep your feelings, attuide, and negativity to yourself.and do your job.thatswhy your employed there.and I have also had a experience where the needle has been put to far up the arm.and left a m
I absolutely love the staff at Biomat Savannah ! I haven't been here in a while and they made me feel so loved upon my return ! I would definitely recommend donating at Biomat Savannah !
Very unorganized and very unprofessional. The staff is horrible. I witnessed two of them argue because of the disrespect towards each other. These centers need to do better. If I could rate them 0 stars I would.
Thee staff at Biomat Savannah just to name a few Ms.Lisa , Ms. Stephanie ,Mr. Shawn Mr. Dom an Ms. Jessica ,Ms. Liz have shown me Thee up-most respect an make me feel welcome an appreciated as a donor !
Normally I'd give them a 4, but twice now I have been there and they were running behind. Yet both times there were anywhere from 5-7 staff members at the front desk talking and not taking care of anyone.
I like the staff and all of the complaints of a 3 hour wait are true but thats what happens whens when too many ppl are waiting in front of you, in-out can be 2 to 5 hours but the line is long cuz we ppl like easy money
Slow, seem like some don't care about donors. Not cool to be left with a needle in your arm, machine beeping and no one come check in you
They need to offer more money, very first time $45 then $30 then after that $20 then $30 and they stay on $20 & $30 in till u miss a donation. For 6 months it sucks but sumthing is more than nothing i guess
I love everything about this place...Sure sometimes it's a little more lengthy at times, but that is to be expected with the amount of people that they serve... Overall I would and have recommended it to any and everyone ;)
Love the phlebs they're all super friendly and sociable. Mr. Terry is great even if he did diss ?The Greatest Showman? ??????
Amazing staffing The needles are not big Clean facility
First time visit was 3 hours. Second visit was 2. Not so bad. Some people who work there are rude and others are nice.
I Love this place.... Their staff is awesome... Been coming here for a couple of years!!! Fast friendly service.... Free WiFi is a plus!!
It's a great Place to be full of great staff thats like family Dachanna & Areley is The Best when it comes to Helping their Donors & just always awesome
U can show. Up at 7 am and. Not leave till closeing time. Its. Not worth a 45 min trip to donate plasma for. Just $20 heck thats gas. The staff are. Rude. Unfriendly
Dakota is just absolutely fabulous! Always makes me feel welcome. Always service with a smile!
Would love to donate but they are having trouble with my driver's license not matching my social security card? Really? Why? Please explain?
They have an amazing staff. The staff always insure your safety in following all steps for us donors.Great people to be around.
Great staff at the desk and in the donation room! Very clean facility as well. Staff answered all my questions and were very friendly!
I love coming here & they help you with everything . They are very nice to you . Just come in & they will get started with you right away . So come on down & get this money .
Biomat USA is a very friendly environment to donate plasma. I always have a fast easy donation. I love the staff here
I LOVE THIS PLACE EVERYBODY HERE IS GREAT! FAVORITE EMPLOYEES ARE ALL OF THEM. CANT NAME ALL BUT HERE ARE I FEW I HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE OF MEETING. MRS.LISA. MR.SHAWN. MR.NOAH. MR.TERRY. MRS.RACHAEL. MRS.ALILA ECX..... Much love from ANNA HARPER
New manager won't get off his miget butt to help out staff when short handed but will ask you to leave when questioned he needs to leave town then bans me been coming for 10 years so your lose not mine don't need that chump money and waiting time is over an hour
Great staff. Very friendly and personable. Would recommend to friends who are looking to do a good deed and be compensated for it.
I love biomat of Savannah there so good to me They play the best waiting movies ever and they bathroom are very much nice and clean
The little manager guy was super rude and had a nasty attitude toward everyone. The place was really clean though.
Been going since I was 18 friendly staff and pretty good service. Just very disappointed they let Terry go. #sadday
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
