I was a new donor and it took them over 6 hours at closing time to finally get to my donation despite me being well prepared. It's normal for new donors at a plasma donation center to not be as high priority as returning donors but it should be 3 hours max for a first visit typically. Try Octoplasma instead. I do not recommend and very understaffed.

Every time I walk in I'm always greeted with a smile by their staff. The professionalism is superb. Never a dull moment. Always some kind of promotion going. The best place to donate in Valdosta is Grifols Biomat USA

So whenever I needed her Ms.Melissa was there and still managed to take care of others and her duties literally the best she needs a raise if not just a penny for her service keeping happy to come back

So I had an appt at 515, went to check in and was told to see a staff member. Was told they wanted to see if I could do the tetanus program only to find out I couldn't. I was told it'd only take a couple min, I waited 30min only to be told nothing could be done about the 6 people who came in after me so I only realistically had to wait a couple extra hours worth of time....great

Things have improved greatly at this center over the last year. The customer service and organization have both improved greatly. It is convenient that they offer the opportunity to complete the questionnaire on the donor hub app before arriving. When you arrive you only have the scan the QR code from your phone and you are checked in. The donor seating has been organized so much better. I asked the lady over the phone if I was eligible and she said yes so i drove over an hour to come here just to be denied by THE SAME LADY, after asking her about it she told me ?i guess you're beat?. absolutely avoid this place at all costs if you can, completely unreliable and completely unprofessional. Ms. Camille truly makes the Biomat what it is! She makes it a goal to be cordial, professional and for clients to feel comfortable during your stay! I've known this establishment for some time and she is the best!!

Front desk, when the manager who fills in on the floor is there, is always awesome. I have reported to Management.. my vein damage or excessive force when removing my needle and has caused massive issues I've needed checked by SGMC multiple times. I came in when it wasn't a lot of people. Instead of them moving efficiently they moved slower. When I come in when they are busy they move faster. They messed up my donor questions and I had to take it over. Of course when finished the lady who told me to come back is nowhere to be found.

Donate at your own risk!! This place is very unorganized and they employee many ppl that don't know what they are doing and don't care about anything but getting to break.

The last multiple times I've came with my friends to donate, it took us near 3 hours to get attended. Some of the workers prefer to speak to each other and make quips about the amount of people they have coming in rather than actually get people rolling with their donations. The change to appointments recently should?ve helped with the enormous flow of people coming in, no? Not entirely sure why this last visit costed us near 4 hours from checkin to checkout. Very unsatisfied here lately.

My appointment was at 4:45 pm I'm glad I didn't set it for 5 but anyways I was waiting over 2 hours just to get setup and ready then waited 45 mins in the chair waiting for them to start the machine!! Donating was easy most of the staff is ok especially Lakesha. But if your there when they are closing like I was last night they will just walk by you when your done. Nobody wanted to do their job. They all were just huddled around talking. I had been done for 10-15 minutes and had to use the restroom. I ended up peeing on myself. This is a great way to make some extra cash while helping others, the staff is friendly and helpful, the facility is clean, BUT be prepared to dedicate 1 to 4 hours here EVEN with an appointment. I made an appointment and still managed to spend 3 hours here yesterday. At that rate, it just isn't worth the time or effort anymore. I guess business is good, or the facility is understaffed, but 3 hours even with an appointment is inexcusable.

Expect to waste your whole day here. I was there for over 4 hours only to be told I could not donate because I am diabetic. They should ask that on the intake questionnaire so people don't waste their time. I am a frequent plasma donor, and I have had wonderful experiences with this place! Tiffany and all of the employees have been so nice. Although sometimes there is a longer wait than usual, I don't mind. Yesterday, while donating plasma, my blood pressure dropped and I felt little dizzy. Within 10 seconds, Shane and Danielle were there and they were AMAZING! Less than 5 minutes later, I was feeling 100% and was fine the rest of the day. Most of the time I have been treated really well.The staff has been friendly and efficient. However,the last time I was taken back,but had to wait almost 20 minutes.That is not the norm,and I believe they had several new people who were learning, so understandably, it we have to be patient. The staff is very friendly and they are very resourceful in letting you know about the different promotions for the month. The wait time can be crazy due to staffing and it an employee is late or calls out. I always expect to spend at least 2-3 hours there tops but I can get out there under 2 hours sometimes. I donate to help save a life it's not about the compensation.

Staff is wonderful. But one of the mangers is so rude and disrespect to the staff. If an employee ask you for some information they don't know, it's your job to give her the knowledge they ask about. To walk off is just disturbing then on top of that when someone is hooked to the machine.

This new check in process is seriously flawed. I spend more time now waiting to be called back and hooked then I ever did before. I used to recommend people come here but from now on until they make this process quicker I'll send people to the other plasma center. It's ridiculous that you have to make an appt for a specific time and yet it takes almost 2 hours to get called back.

Everyone was very friendly my first time yesterday. That was expected given they told me over the phone. The only thing I would suggest for first timers is to bring a snack if you are allergic to nuts because they gave me peanut butter crackers and I'm allergic. I've donated at Grifols location several times and the staff members are excellent! I am a tough stick due to my veins being tiny but the Phlebotomists here are TOP NOTCH and very skilled! I've only had to be re-stuck once out of 8 or so donations and that was my fault because I didn't hydrate properly before my appointment. After being a regular donor for over a year now, I can say the staff are friendly and you are treated well but this location is poorly managed. Most of the time I donate I am there for a little over 3 hours when it only takes about 45 minutes to actually give plasma. So if you are thinking about donating, be prepared to be there for 3 hours. I suggest trying the new plasma donation center that opened up here in town so you won't have to waste so much of your day.

First of all let me clear the rumors. The staff is not rude or getto. They are real people not robots. Which is a great thing. You can go in and honestly have a real convo with them. While danoting and they working. Everytime I have a lovely time. Even times when my veins didn't pass. Or other reasons I could donate. They were respectful and more. As far as the long waits. There are days I'm in and out. Yet there are days it's slower. Because they are packed. And everyone is under because of the time wait.

Waste of time. Called them over the phone and they said just bring your i.d., proof of residency, and proof of social. I get all of that and waste 2 hours of my day and $20 of gas just to get turned around because i live in doerun. If that was a problem then why was it not addressed on the phone? They are lazy and mentally handicapped in my honest opinion.

We get there to be informed because there is another center closet that JUST OPENED we had to go to that center. Everytime I come here there's always new policies and I understand that they have to do what's best for them but get the right information. There was a miscount on the number of piercings I had like always; since 2017 the person who does my physicals always gets confused on how many I have/had.Why? Everyone works really hard! The wait can be 2-3 hrs. There are a lot of promotions every month that allow you to increase the money you can earn. Noticeable improvements are being made on a consistent basis.

I enjoy coming down from Tifton twice a week to donate. Even when I had a little hiccup with my donation, the staff was professional and kept me calm by making me laugh. The ladies and gentlemen at this center are some of the sweetest people I've ever met. Now if only we could get a center in Tifton, near the college.

By far the absolute worst plasma donation center I have ever been to, & thats actually saying a lot. I've been donating plasma for 20 years, for different companies, at various locations. The staff here are the slowest I've ever encountered, some are very rude, & inconsiderate. It's sad, because this is something I actually care about. Children have died for lack of medicines made from plasma. In other cities, I've even organised some things to help this cause. But this place......is the worst I've ever see

Terrible Experience, My 1st time, I only had one vein & I wasn't suppose to pass to give plasma. They allowed it anyway which cause me to have complications. I experienced cell loss and hematoma. I never received saline solution because there wasn't another good vein to stick me. The phlebotomists were very inexperienced and continuously giving me complications. If it's your 1st time donating be prepared to be at Biotest at least 4 hrs.. If it isn't you're 1st time be ready to be there at least 2 hrs. Even if you have a appt. pls know that if a New Donor comes in they will be put ahead of you and every other Donor.

Whats the point in making an appointment if we still have to wait 2 hours and 20 mins and counting to even get started donating? I got ripped off basically any other time it's great, great service and you may catch a laugh or two, but today I am upset because this is my 6th Donation and I was told I'd make 100 off of this one well why when I get to the store to pump gas it's only 40 measley dollars could've kept that...wont see me back in none of these places!!!

Poor screening process...actual donation process is smooth,fairly fast..but the BP machines they use for screening are older models and very inaccurate..failed a pulse rate 1st time with 122bpm..10 mini later,was measured @86bpm..as a retired hospital corpsman in the USN ,I can categorically tell you,that kind of bpm swing is virtually impossible within an hour,let alone 10 minutes...they need to manually test instead!!

Some of the employee's are great some aren't they just simply don't care..And fact that I had to wait for over 2 hours just to get a Physical.

About a quarter of the staff is rude and randomly aggressive. It's only really worth the hassle during the first 5 visits before the promotional rate goes away.

Most of the time considering what this process is you're normally in and out very fast with very little or none at all complications as far as delays or having to wait or long lines I've been going here for roughly three years and I have to say though sometimes it may take a little while longer most of the time it's 1 of the if not the fastest and best paid

I'm a constant donor lately and had no problems lately but I went today and think I had a trainee cause when she stuck me with the needle she missed my vein then had to use my other arm and missed the vein again and ended up having another worker get it right

I set an appointment told the receptionist I had one did kiosk told receptionist again I had an appointment ppl we're called before me one dude was in the same boat I was he and they gave him a VIP pass me i an ok you're next Ive this is not the first time this has happened.

Always make you wait long time! Most visits take 4+ hours even if you are a return donor. Severely under staffed!
