A good experience for those looking to donate plasma and get paid for it. The process to get started wasn't terribly long, my first day was from 2 up until 7. My second day was also the same because I had friends that time. I still don't get how the referral system works because I've referred several people but it still hasn't showed up in my balance. The experience isn't bad once you get past through all the paperwork, just have a good distraction to pump for an hour or so. It also seems like the office i

I was a new donor and it took them over 6 hours at closing time to finally get to my donation despite me being well prepared. It's normal for new donors at a plasma donation center to not be as high priority as returning donors but it should be 3 hours max for a first visit typically. Try Octoplasma instead. I do not recommend and very understaffed.

Every time I walk in I'm always greeted with a smile by their staff. The professionalism is superb. Never a dull moment. Always some kind of promotion going. The best place to donate in Valdosta is Grifols Biomat USA

So whenever I needed her Ms.Melissa was there and still managed to take care of others and her duties literally the best she needs a raise if not just a penny for her service keeping happy to come back

So I had an appt at 515, went to check in and was told to see a staff member. Was told they wanted to see if I could do the tetanus program only to find out I couldn't. I was told it'd only take a couple min, I waited 30min only to be told nothing could be done about the 6 people who came in after me so I only realistically had to wait a couple extra hours worth of time....great

Things have improved greatly at this center over the last year. The customer service and organization have both improved greatly. It is convenient that they offer the opportunity to complete the questionnaire on the donor hub app before arriving. When you arrive you only have the scan the QR code from your phone and you are checked in. The donor seating has been organized so much better. You no longer have to wait in long line of people to donate. The monetary incentive is great especially for new donors an

if i could give it 0 stars i would. DO NOT COME HERE. I asked the lady over the phone if I was eligible and she said yes so i drove over an hour to come here just to be denied by THE SAME LADY, after asking her about it she told me ?i guess you're beat?. absolutely avoid this place at all costs if you can, completely unreliable and completely unprofessional. Was not compensated in any way.

Ms. Camille truly makes the Biomat what it is! She makes it a goal to be cordial, professional and for clients to feel comfortable during your stay! I've known this establishment for some time and she is the best!!

If this is the best the cleanest the friendliest the nicest octoplasma company I ever been to the people here are nice or friendly and very professional about their work and what they do from day one they showed me the upmost respect and they treated me like a US citizen I'm here right now and I love this place thank you and happy holidays

5 stars to the workers I know they are trying to their best here. 1 star to corporate for not hiring enough worker for to ease the work load. Is a shame to have an appointment at 3pm and not get in a chair until like 3-4 hours later. I eat before I get here and I'm hungry when I get in the chair I guess I'll pass out. Another thing because of the waits some nights I honestly think a minimum of 90-100 dollars per visit will be sufficient because waiting for almost 4 hours for 45-50 dollars is Ludacris! If yo

Front desk, when the manager who fills in on the floor is there, is always awesome. I have reported to Management.. my vein damage or excessive force when removing my needle and has caused massive issues I've needed checked by SGMC multiple times. On the donation floor, you have 3 genuine nurses who are careful and meticulous about what they do and how they help. Julisa, Rhonda, & Keisha are phenomenal! Anyone else who has started and ended my donation machine, I have had bruised veins & swollen arms, 3 ti

My appointment was almost two hours ago and I'm still not hooked up this is a crazy and they keep unhooking people when they need to be hooking people up

I came in when it wasn't a lot of people. Instead of them moving efficiently they moved slower. When I come in when they are busy they move faster. They messed up my donor questions and I had to take it over. Of course when finished the lady who told me to come back is nowhere to be found.

Donate at your own risk!! This place is very unorganized and they employee many ppl that don't know what they are doing and don't care about anything but getting to break.

The last multiple times I've came with my friends to donate, it took us near 3 hours to get attended. Some of the workers prefer to speak to each other and make quips about the amount of people they have coming in rather than actually get people rolling with their donations. The change to appointments recently should?ve helped with the enormous flow of people coming in, no? Not entirely sure why this last visit costed us near 4 hours from checkin to checkout. Very unsatisfied here lately.

My appointment was at 4:45 pm I'm glad I didn't set it for 5 but anyways I was waiting over 2 hours just to get setup and ready then waited 45 mins in the chair waiting for them to start the machine!! This is sad bruh cuz they will sit there and talk in front of your face to someone else knowing that they have a job to do

Great staff very friendly and helpful even when they are busy, slow,or only have a few people working they are patient to help everyone. They need more help on both sides. corporate need to hire more people they are overworked asap!!

Sad What it has become Kate great at managing robin Daniels Keisha von Tiffany Stephanie are all that remains of solid speedy workers they are the backbone of this donor center now over work under paid so short of staff it's amazing they have not left yet. Previous owners ran this place great I personally going to buy those few a 50 dollar gift card now that I'm back on my feet also a boost would be good for those in Valdosta affected by Hurricane many people or still with out power

Donating was easy most of the staff is ok especially Lakesha. But if your there when they are closing like I was last night they will just walk by you when your done. Nobody wanted to do their job. They all were just huddled around talking. I had been done for 10-15 minutes and had to use the restroom. I ended up peeing on myself. Because the staff were more worried about cleaning than taking me down. I think that the staff needs to be a little more professional. E3ee

This is a great way to make some extra cash while helping others, the staff is friendly and helpful, the facility is clean, BUT be prepared to dedicate 1 to 4 hours here EVEN with an appointment. I made an appointment and still managed to spend 3 hours here yesterday. At that rate, it just isn't worth the time or effort anymore. I guess business is good, or the facility is understaffed, but 3 hours even with an appointment is inexcusable.

Expect to waste your whole day here. I was there for over 4 hours only to be told I could not donate because I am diabetic. They should ask that on the intake questionnaire so people don't waste their time. Also, my boyfriend was turned away and told to donate he would have to come back and bring paperwork to prove how long he had been released from incarceration and had to do the whole process over the very next day when he returned (was there around 4.5 hours again). Highly disappointed and think they cou

I am a frequent plasma donor, and I have had wonderful experiences with this place! Tiffany and all of the employees have been so nice. Although sometimes there is a longer wait than usual, I don't mind. Yesterday, while donating plasma, my blood pressure dropped and I felt little dizzy. Within 10 seconds, Shane and Danielle were there and they were AMAZING! Less than 5 minutes later, I was feeling 100% and was fine the rest of the day. The Dr. even called me later just to check on me. I HIGHLY recommend V

Most of the time I have been treated really well. The staff has been friendly and efficient. However, the last time I was taken back, but had to wait almost 20 minutes. That is not the norm, and I believe they had several new people who were learning, so understandably, it we have to be patient. Once I was"stuck",all went well. I donated 3years ago, when it was Biotest, and I see several improvements. I highly recommend Biomat.

I'm not sure what happened to this place. I'm typically not once to complain, but? I used to enjoy coming here. Customer service has gone downhill. And since coming back there seem to be issues and confusion with most of the staff. I've never had any issues with anyone finding my veins, but a couple days ago the girl (middle age with space buns/pigtails) was just NOT good. She had to mark my arm, ok, I'd rather her be confident in where she was sticking me (but again never had this issue before, infact I'm

The staff is very friendly and they are very resourceful in letting you know about the different promotions for the month. The wait time can be crazy due to staffing and it an employee is late or calls out. I always expect to spend at least 2-3 hours there tops but I can get out there under 2 hours sometimes. I donate to help save a life it's not about the compensation.

Staff is wonderful. But one of the mangers is so rude and disrespect to the staff. If an employee ask you for some information they don't know, it's your job to give her the knowledge they ask about. To walk off is just disturbing then on top of that when someone is hooked to the machine.

This new check in process is seriously flawed. I spend more time now waiting to be called back and hooked then I ever did before. I used to recommend people come here but from now on until they make this process quicker I'll send people to the other plasma center. It's ridiculous that you have to make an appt for a specific time and yet it takes almost 2 hours to get called back.

Everyone was very friendly my first time yesterday. That was expected given they told me over the phone. The only thing I would suggest for first timers is to bring a snack if you are allergic to nuts because they gave me peanut butter crackers and I'm allergic. They were pretty nice and took pretty good care of me besides that! Make sure you eat and drink well before you donate! Also it can get cold so they should put that on there site because I was shivering ??

Friendly somewhat. The front desk yes, nurses at intake yes nurses on the floor not so Friendly. Didn't check me nearly blew up a vein. Not happy! Very bruised.

If I could give zero, I would. Besides the fact that I am literally sitting in a labchair waiting to be hooked up, been in this chair over 30 minutes. My appointment was at 6:00. They are all about your punctuality, yet they are NEVER on time. And, a friend of mine just told me that there was a malfunction with his pump, and his plasma was leaking all over the floor. Now, apparently some VIP came in and the lab tech in my area is fangirling all over him! If the techs spent half as much time on the donor's a

I've donated at Grifols location several times and the staff members are excellent! I am a tough stick due to my veins being tiny but the Phlebotomists here are TOP NOTCH and very skilled! I've only had to be re-stuck once out of 8 or so donations and that was my fault because I didn't hydrate properly before my appointment. I love that the staff here are down to earth, diversified and exhibit excellent interpersonal skills. Now, this new Grifols app has been a little quirky & aggravating at times but it's

Worst treatment ever! I've been donating for years, twice a week at Bio-mat in Colorado. Moved here and attempted to donate. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes while the lady was on the computer about a foot from me (looked at me several times). I waited patiently. A lady walked up behind me inline and a guy came from the back almost right away and asked if she was being helped. Another 5 minutes past and the lady at the counter finally recognized I was there with a snarky and rude attitude as if I was i

The staff is respectful & most time I'm done with everything in less than 2 hours. Camillia, Ashton, as well the rest of the staff do great. I won a V.I.P that i have yet to use because my visits go so fast. Keep up the good work... Biotest has helped families in our community.

After being a regular donor for over a year now, I can say the staff are friendly and you are treated well but this location is poorly managed. Most of the time I donate I am there for a little over 3 hours when it only takes about 45 minutes to actually give plasma. So if you are thinking about donating, be prepared to be there for 3 hours. I suggest trying the new plasma donation center that opened up here in town so you won't have to waste so much of your day.

First of all let me clear the rumors. The staff is not rude or getto. They are real people not robots. Which is a great thing. You can go in and honestly have a real convo with them. While danoting and they working. Everytime I have a lovely time. Even times when my veins didn't pass. Or other reasons I could donate. They were respectful and more. As far as the long waits. There are days I'm in and out. Yet there are days it's slower. Because they are packed. And everyone is under because of the time wait.

Waste of time. Called them over the phone and they said just bring your i.d., proof of residency, and proof of social. I get all of that and waste 2 hours of my day and $20 of gas just to get turned around because i live in doerun. If that was a problem then why was it not addressed on the phone? They are lazy and mentally handicapped in my honest opinion.

If I could give a negative star I would!!! My brother, roommate, and I set up appointments with this center. We drive over 80 miles to donate. We get there to be informed because there is another center closet that JUST OPENED we had to go to that center. If I had been told this BEFORE the appointment it would have been fine, there is nothing on the website or anything. I didn't know saving lives had a certain destination ??

The only reason this place gets even one star is because google won't let me give no stars. I came in to be a new donor, waited at the counter for a few minutes with someone right there in front of me but she did not help me at all. After ignoring me for a while, she finally looks up, and says ?yes?? In a very rude tone of voice. I responded with a very polite ?I'm here to register as a new donor? and she caught an attitude again saying, ?well you're just gonna have to wait. There's other people in front of

I was turned away after driving from Thomasville and spending 20$ in gas because my blood pressure was 3 points high. They refused to confirm the results and were extremely rude and condescending. Don't go here! Try Tallahassee. They pay 140$ a visit

the attending phlebotomist was informative, explaining everything as she did it. The facility is less than clean, especially for dealing with body fluids. The staff don 't change gloves between each patient or when servicing a different patient's machine,. The Beds are wiped down after every patient,,,, The machines are not,,,, The iv tubing and bags, after removed from machines, are carried , in gloved hands, 1,2,3, and 4 rows down, passed patients, to be discarded in a biobin.,, . In the cubicle areas as

Not worth the visit. In a trashy part of town. Terrible service. Unorganized. Rude staff. Sketchy patrons. Unproffessianal. I could go on. I wish there was a different plasma center around here. I've seen pre-schools planned out better than this cesspit that hires pompous troglodytes to deal with the public. With the pay being cut to $30 it's not even worth the trip there. EDIT TO REPLY: I've tried that already, you're just as unhelpful as the rest. All of you can go to hell.

Everytime I come here there's always new policies and I understand that they have to do what's best for them but get the right information. There was a miscount on the number of piercings I had like always; since 2017 the person who does my physicals always gets confused on how many I have/had.Why? IDK but I clearly remember telling the staff member how many I had last year and it wasn't enter into my chart correctly so now I can't give plasma until December 6, 2020. I've tried to contact "YOU/CENTERMANAGER

Everyone works really hard! The wait can be 2-3 hrs. There are a lot of promotions every month that allow you to increase the money you can earn. Noticeable improvements are being made on a consistent basis.

I enjoy coming down from Tifton twice a week to donate. Even when I had a little hiccup with my donation, the staff was professional and kept me calm by making me laugh. The ladies and gentlemen at this center are some of the sweetest people I've ever met. Now if only we could get a center in Tifton, near the college.

Very unprofessional.. I sat in a chair for almost an hour and watched numerous individuals donate while I was constantly passed over.. the MANAGER ERIC is no better than the staff that he oversees.. I went to him about the issue and he did nothing to help the siituation.. here I am coming to you with a complaint and your worried about me being skipped in line, when thats the issue I'm addressing.. don't let the people touch you.. twice I have heard the staff joke about the. Orna outbreak that infected over

By far the absolute worst plasma donation center I have ever been to, & thats actually saying a lot. I've been donating plasma for 20 years, for different companies, at various locations. The staff here are the slowest I've ever encountered, some are very rude, & inconsiderate. It's sad, because this is something I actually care about. Children have died for lack of medicines made from plasma. In other cities, I've even organised some things to help this cause. But this place......is the worst I've ever see

Always a pleasure to go donate. The staff is friendly but still professional. Very quick screening and i never have to wait on a chair.

Absolutely terrible. Destroyed my vein twice, my sister's vein, and I still have to sit and wait over an hour before I even donate. So many people ready and no workers are working!

Terrible Experience, My 1st time, I only had one vein & I wasn't suppose to pass to give plasma. They allowed it anyway which cause me to have complications. I experienced cell loss and hematoma. I never received saline solution because there wasn't another good vein to stick me. The phlebotomists were very inexperienced and continuously giving me complications. It was very painful and a terrible experience. After, I ended up collapsing after an hour because I gave plasma, lost a lot of blood, & did not re

If it's your 1st time donating be prepared to be at Biotest at least 4 hrs.. If it isn't you're 1st time be ready to be there at least 2 hrs. Even if you have a appt. pls know that if a New Donor comes in they will be put ahead of you and every other Donor.

Whats the point in making an appointment if we still have to wait 2 hours and 20 mins and counting to even get started donating? This is like spitting in my face this is extremely disrespectful to your customers. And judging by all the other reviews all I can expect is the same generic copy and paste response

I came back recently to donate after a few years, and every single person I interacted with treated me so kindly, and in these times it was very much appreciated! They have made awesome improvements.

I got ripped off basically any other time it's great, great service and you may catch a laugh or two, but today I am upset because this is my 6th Donation and I was told I'd make 100 off of this one well why when I get to the store to pump gas it's only 40 measley dollars could've kept that...wont see me back in none of these places!!!

Poor screening process...actual donation process is smooth, fairly fast..but the BP machines they use for screening are older models and very inaccurate..failed a pulse rate 1st time with 122bpm..10 mini later, was measured @86bpm..as a retired hospital corpsman in the USN ,I can categorically tell you, that kind of bpm swing is virtually impossible within an hour, let alone 10 minutes...they need to manually test instead!!

Some of the employee's are great some aren't they just simply don't care..And fact that I had to wait for over 2 hours just to get a Physical.

About a quarter of the staff is rude and randomly aggressive. It's only really worth the hassle during the first 5 visits before the promotional rate goes away.

I just called and the reception desk is very unhelpful and actually very rude. The Techs who work on donation floor are nice, but it seems like every time I call up there it's just rudeness and they can't help you.

Most of the time considering what this process is you're normally in and out very fast with very little or none at all complications as far as delays or having to wait or long lines I've been going here for roughly three years and I have to say though sometimes it may take a little while longer most of the time it's 1 of the if not the fastest and best paid

By far the best experience I've ever had, while donating. The staff are very hard working and I look forward to donating again very soon!!!

I've had nothing but pleasant experiences. The staff is nice and helpful. Donation is quick and easy.

Absolutely amazing every single donation. Wonderful staff, clean facilities, easy process. I strongly encourage anyone to try them first.

Normal days you can be out of there less than an hour. 5 Stars when the donation pay goes up.

I'm a constant donor lately and had no problems lately but I went today and think I had a trainee cause when she stuck me with the needle she missed my vein then had to use my other arm and missed the vein again and ended up having another worker get it right

I set an appointment told the receptionist I had one did kiosk told receptionist again I had an appointment ppl we're called before me one dude was in the same boat I was he and they gave him a VIP pass me i an ok you're next Ive this is not the first time this has happened.

It was so much better when they allowed you to make an appointment for a certain time but now anyone that's a returning donor can walk in at any time which makes the place crazy crowded & now you end up waiting hours just to go through the process.

most the staff are great. It can sometimes take a few minutes to get in a chair and to be disconnected when done.

I have been coming since they opened but i dont think im ever coming again. They have cut the payouts to hardly nothing. $30 for 4 visits??? No thx

I went and several times I end up with Bruises and the lady that poke me took like half hour and after the needle was inside she started to move it around to find the vein, she even hide her name cause most of my friends had warn me about her lack of caring

Quick and easy. No issues and everyone who works is so kind and friendly.

Staff is rushed and careless when it comes to touching and sticking people. Multiple incidents despite being given too many chances. Go elsewhere.

Staff is rude can't never get any help or have questions answered I dont see how you can force someone to be able to come on certain days not everyone can come on those days I come when I'm available to come lady had the nerve to tell me that I can only come on Thursdays and Saturdays

I made appointment, learned about my health .The first day my blood pressure was high .They did not take me ..Came back the following day with appointment was taken right back .I was there for about 3 hours but I was walked through every step of the way .

Worst center ever, after waiting 2hrs still haven't been called to a donation chair. The staff has hooked up ONE donor in the past hour!!!!! Employees move slower than snails!;

They wasted two hours of my time just to say I needed doctors approval first so I missed out on an extra 20 for donor appreciation day and didn't get compensated for them wasting my time!

So slow its after 6 now and I've been here for a hour and a half still have not been called for anything

Don't sell your plasma to these folks. They false advertise or have a data breach!

Friendly, welcoming staff, pretty quick service.

Not to happy with my visit today Thought I would try the appointment thing What a waste of time arrived at 1:15 appointment was between 115 & 145 I finally got in the chair at 325 Not very impressive But I will definitely be back since I love the staff

I want to say thank you to Ms. Tiana for helping out my mom when she had a problem. A lot of donors said that when you are there the center runs on time once again I thank you for helping my mom.

Always make you wait long time! Most visits take 4+ hours even if you are a return donor. Severely under staffed!

I mean if ur cool with hanging out for a few minutes and get paid for doing nothing it's great. The nurses do everything u don't have to do anything

If I could put zero stars, I would. Staff are rude and incompetent. Especially for first time donors. Very bad first impression. Taking my plasma donation elsewhere.

This place was closed today during normal business hours ...Some people drive 50 miles to donate to find out they are closed when they should be open...3.19.23at 230pm.

Great people great place been coming here since 2019 very professional and comfortable love it.

They won't accept my up to date lease or my up to date bills as proof of address. Apparently they don't want me to donate.

Get THOSE LADIES SOME HELP DO A JOB FAIR OR SOMETHING YOUR WORKERS NEED HELP.

I would recommend hiring techs who are more capable of doing their jobs correctly.

Be prepared to spend 2 hrs or more here they are very slow. The people are disrespectful, rude ghetto in a way
