Grifols Biomat USA Wichita Falls, TX

I've been coming to this grifols for over a year now. I've gotten to know many of the employees by name and we've had lots of great conversations. The only changes I've seen here have been for more efficiency, most of the time for the donation process. Christian up front and in medical is always helpful and friendly. I request to have either Dakota, Angelica, Phillip and don't forget Jackie on the floor ?stick? me because they are experienced and efficient. I always have a good experience here.

I've never really looked into plasma donation before?always thought it was kind of Fugazi, LMFAO. But after hearing from close friends and family who donate regularly, I figured I'd give it a shot. They all described it as quick, painless, and seamless? well, my experience was the complete opposite. I booked my appointment for 1:30 PM at what's supposedly the highest-rated facility in my area. Quick, clean, and professional. The staff at Griphon Plasma Donation make the whole process easy and comfortable. It gets really cold in the back, so bring a hoodie and sweats.

Longtime donor! Usually a smooth process with a chill atmosphere to relax while donating. Always recommend my pals to try it out! My only real complaints are the chairs while waiting to be screened? there's not enough room to pass by people already seated and it's super inconvenient sometimes. Most of the staff are lovely, although I personally find Angelica very unpleasant to speak to, plus how rough she is with donors is painful. Everything has improved! From wait time, to the staff?s ability to efficiently do there jobs yet providing a happy environment! The equipment has also improved so much that they get new donors and regular donors in and out in a timely manner! Remember your helping someone in need of your donation! I've done 55 donations here and have seldom had trouble. Very little wait time and the process moves fast. If you got a couple of hours time on your hands I highly recommend. Donor 3304

Nice way to make a few extra bucks for gas or for other expenses. Some days the process moves along fairly quickly, other times it'll be packed and will take forever to get in and out of there despite efforts from staff. They are always helpful and friendly even when they are swamped with work. There will be times when the person sticking knows what they're doing and the donation goes by quickly and without problems but if the person that sets you up doesn't know what they're doing, you're gonna be stuck do

Usually pretty solid. Seems to be constantly understaffed, but most of the employees are pretty pleasant to chat with. Christian answering the phone today was an exception she/he wasn't exactly helpful and refused to answer questions though.

The employees make this much easier for me. I'm not a needle fan and they make it a lot easier to deal with. I appreciate them more for that. The overall atmosphere is 9 out of 10. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Such a friendly environment to be in when getting stuck by a needle! My first time I was super nervous but they explained everything very well and comforted me. They are also super good with waiting time, they get you in and out very quickly.

I have never been to another center so I can't compare but they are very good at the Wichita falls center. Especially in the last few months they have gotten quicker and more efficient. The place is always clean and the staff is helpful and professional.

I was told my first 4 donations were $100 each. I received $100 each for the first 3 and only $40 for the 4th donation

I love coming here. It's a great way to make a little extra money and also help people. I also enjoy socializing with everyone. I haven't had a bad experience with them yet.

The staff were very nice and thorough! They let me know what was to be expected since it was my first time! I did have an issue with my hand going numb but it was resolved quickly and we switched to the other arm. Since I have tiny veins the other arm bruised very easily and a hematoma developed! But I'm going back next week after the arm heals!! Highly recommended! Good people!! ????

Plasma place has improved so much since I had last been here (company change) and I am so glad it's been a better experience for me. The staff is nice and will keep you informed, and want to make sure you're comfortable when you donate. Updated machines are nice and the process to get to the back is quick after your first time! I come here all the time and almost everyone is great.the only thing is when this used to be a different company bpl, and Dci the managers would come out sit people and I only had one correct a stick for me before but they sit people that's it. I have also seen this manager, Gary is his name help out the lab too.

Terrible customer service, inexperienced staff, and they have you stand for long periods of time before checking your vital signs. A few good staff members make the process not as bad, but mostly rude staff with a know it all attitude. They have recently remodeled to make the building more appealing, but took out the seating for donors waiting to be processed, causing more failing than passing results. Staff spend more time gossiping with each other than actually working.

Best crew very friendly ?? little wait time . Makes you feel super comfortable and like a family . Been donating since Jan of 2022 and I'm a lifelong supporter now!! Keep up the great work ?? ??!!! Everytime I come to this place the ladies in vitals are super welcoming. They make it pleasant. When I get to the back the team is great. I couldn't ask for a better experience. Clean and efficient.

It use to be more personal. And now you stand waiting in line for over an hour that can cause your pulse rate to go up. They can't seem to keep good employees. Constantly hiring new people that don't know what they are doing to where they have to restick someone or cause them to go in to a hold because they can't get their blood back. They can be better. They used to be better.

Very skilled and and a straightforward process to donate. They educate you on what you're doing and why it's helpful to the communities and the lives of others. It's even easier coming back after the first visit.

Staff has attitude Towards doing they're job. Stands around and talks instead of checking on customers. Not worth going to at all. Staff is young and don't care about anything but talking to their friends. The machines mess up because new employee's are not properly trained then customers are punished by not receiving the full amount they were stuck for!! This place needs all new management.

I went there a student put a needle too far in my veins The next day I was black and blue. I started seeing stars and had to leave work early.

They are not very polite like when I'm sitting there after the plasma has been completed for up to 15 minutes. When I questioned the issue she got nasty with a smirk on her FACE . I thought they were supposed to be nice

A lot has changed at BPL for the better! The time it takes to donate has gotten better. The entire staff is friendly, courteous and always have smiles on their faces. And of course all the little extra bonuses is a plus! Thank you to the whole staff for good experiences each time I donate!!!

Very skilled and friendly staff. Keeps things rolling. I'm never there more than 2 hours, and barely notice a difference in my days energy. A small price to pay for a very big difference in someone else's day. My only word of advice: make sure you are paying attention to your days for your donations. Their week runs monday to Sunday. So if you donate on a sunday then on a Tuesday, you dont get the second donation bonus until you donate again on sunday. All in all not a big issue, just wish the non standard

I have been coming to this facility for several years. I have seen some good and some bad and lots of changes. I am enjoying the donating process more now than I ever have. Very knowledgeable staff and for the biggest part the process time is amazing.

The folks there are most polite and professional workers. Fun folks to have a great laugh with! They're careful in their work an care about the people when we need help on our machine. All in all a great group of folks. (An anyone who walks in needs to go see Rebecca. If your having a bad day or just wanna laugh she's your go to gal haha. )

Use to be worth it. They use to care too. They no longer care. Theyll sit around and chit chat while having (I counted 6 workers this morning). People have jobs too yall. Some people dont do this for the money but actually helping. They dont care. Last 3 weeks its been like this. Just not worth it any more. Must suck for the workers who actually care.

This is a great gig if you're hurting for some extra cash. The phlebotomist are usually pretty cool and know what they're doing... mostly, anyways. Only reason they're getting 4 stars is because they keep lowering our payments ever month. It's decreased $40 since I started. Y'all can get the 5th star when we start getting the payouts we used to ??

I went to donate, and while watching the required videos the people that work there accidentally deferred me for the day (for not watching the videos). That's fine, people make mistakes. They gave me a $20 inconvenience pay and told me to return the next day. I came back the next day (I was assured they knew I was returning) and they wouldn't let me donate because they weren't accepting new donors. So needless to say I won't be returning.
