I've been donating at this location for probably a year now and it's been the best place to donate for me. The staff are always nice and helpful. I rarely ever feel the needle when donating. If I do, it just feels like a quick pinch and it's done. They make the process quick and easy.
This center is not only clean and efficient, but they seem to really care about the donor experience. Eric is always quick in the screening booth. Today is my third time coming and Im able to get in and out in under an hour.
So I don't know what these folks are talking about with the ?staff is rude? ?there is no communication? ?staff is lazy? ?this employee said that and it hurt my feelings or that employee said this and it hurt my feelings? etc?.I went in today around noon as a new donor(i used to donate on the Post road Grifols a few years ago), and there were 3 new donors who had just came in ahead of me(they close at 3pm)I saw zero frustration or concern on any of the staffs faces. They communicated with one another effecti
The staff and donation process both were fine. Pretty fast and friendly but getting the correct reimbursement on promotions seems to be an issue. I've donated 3 times using email promotions and have had to follow up with a phone call 3 different times the day after my donation to get the correct reimbursement added to my card. I often donate to Biolife and their reimbursement process is automated through the app. You don't even need to tell them about the promotion. I have ended up with all of my mon
The staff is kind, caring, and wonderful . Shi & Vanessa are the best , along with Madie, Paige. All of them have always been very kind and easy when sticking you, but 1 of them . They are all friendly ,l Most of the management is very kind and understanding, but 1 she is not at all . So I get stuck twice and then they Blow out your arm 3 hours later I'm in so much pain I can not finish because of the pain ive been put in They have the right to not tell you half pay , pay is $50 1/2 is $25. So why
Love this place! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Facility is modern and clean. Decent pay for helping out people.
I've been coming here for years.. The staff is awesome! They are the main reason why I love to donate here!
Friendly staff! Quick and easy! love seeing all the smiling faces and the high level of professionalism. Love donating here.
Turned away from donating today because I did not have an appt. Staff said they don't accept walk-ins for existing donors, and there weren't any more available appts. I have donated at this location twice a week since February and NEVER set an appt. My work and personal schedule fluctuates. I need to donate when my schedule allows. If this is truly Grifols policy, it needs to be enforced 100% of the time, not just when the staff wants to leave early on Sunday. Won't be a donor with Grifols anymore.
I've been coming here for a while. Process is quick and easy. I love the staff. They are amazing and friendly!
The whole staff is very good! They always try to make your visit feel like a home away from home
Eric was fantastic. I come here quite often. Everyone is pleasant and kind. Excellent service!!
Great company staff is always polite no matter the time and day. They are more than willing to assist with whatever you need
Great place to donate The people are very nice and friendly I love when I walk into the building The worker named Eric always is polite and greets me every time I come there.
I love this place. The employees are awesome and cool. Always feel welcome every visit.
My first experience at this location was easy and quick. The staff was friendly and hands on especially Eric with the screenings.
Abby, Bern, Vanessa are very friendly so are most of the staff and cast paste and good music
So now you have to make an appointment to donate. This is very inconvenient for donors. Sometimes work situation or or home situations are unexpected and may prevent you from coming at time of scheduled app. I have been coming to this location a long time and I have always liked that it's never too busy and get in right away. Now that appointments are needed I will probably stop coming. I feel you will lose many donors, Although I am unhappy with the appointment scheduling I have never had any issues.
The people are funny and friendly and make the time go faster I appreciate the extra money and use it for my kids!
Love the staff here! Way faster than biolife. I'm usually in and out in about an hour
Terrible customer service they answer most the time but when I called I asked was I a new donor and they told us yes we will be good for 100 the first 100 the second then when we pay the Uber get all the way there we are told we are not considered new because we donated at a sister center. I asked the rep a few times was he sure he said he was. So I'm pissed because we have no money have to pay our hotel room with our kids in there and have to sit here and wonder why would they have ppl working the phone th
Extremely poor communication amongst the staff on this Sunday. My heart rate was 101, so I had to sit for 15 minutes to get it below 100 I go out to grab a water, and then they tell me that they have to do a retake for leaving the center. I say okay that's fine, I'll just come back in a couple hours. Couple hours past, and then they tell me that for leaving the plasma center I cannot donate. Ehh.... try again Tuesday! Now why the hell did nobody tell me all this before making another trip? Poorly traine
Best place to donate at! Everyone is nice and friendly, clean facility, and good pay!
I've been donating for over a year and it's different than Post. Much better experience.
I've been to a few donation centers and I've seen the professionalism. They're always on top of the situation.
First time donor here and the process was so easy and every staff member was so nice! ??????????
Love this plasma center they are one of the best great employees and even the donating people are amazing
I love grifols no lines to stand in friendly staff in and out in like an hour
Ripped off another 20$ from this company, Grifols website specifically states a donor week starts with the first day you donate and ends with the second in that 7 day period...showed where the website says this and was told nothing they could do...fraud company with bullshit lies
Great customer service wonderful experience every time I come
This center has a free little library as a small thank you for your donation! More than welcome to take a book to read on the bed while you donate and if you decide you love it, keep it! They also take book donations too. Great way to give to the community
Awesome people and very clean environment. Speedy
So where do I start lets see. Should have known the dumpster fire this place was from past visits but is closest center to me. Staff is unkempt, rude and extremely loud. Listen to inappropriate music that can be herd though entire center when they stick your finger for screening they don't where gloves and make u put on your own band aid which feels wrong.the staff on donor floor doesn't where there visors when they stick u and just does a quick smeare of iodine before they stick you. I know other centers d
Staff are great customer service is good as well
Always friendly staff. They go above and beyond
I was just there today was told by a manager as she was sticking me not to look after I told her it hurt and she insisted on she keep trying and then I only received 10 out of the 100 I was supposed to receive as my second donation.
Lift at Vasa down the strip from this place. Came out of the gym to their sticker on my windshield. Extremely unprofessional behavior to be touching other peoples property without permission.
Peter go at helping learn more about center
The staff there was rude Was not professional It was dirty , there were blood on the floor I prefer yall to go to CSl plasma
The check in was easy, of course. For whatever reason my sticker got scanned?.without it even being put on the bottle or the person putting a face to a name. Apparently my name was called, no one couldn't ?find me?, no one bothered to see if I was in the lobby, and now I have to come back because of someone?s mistake. Hopefully the same issue doesn't happen again.
Been coming for months ! Best staff!
All the works their are nice and professional. Fast and easy process. Only problem I had was with one worker who works in the front. She looks like shes 12 with clips in her hair. She's short and dark hair and wanna say her name is Rebecca. The first incident she deferred me saying I'm on drugs when I never touched a drug a day in my life. Then other times she is very rude to donors or co workers. Telling me if I'm not donating I need to leave the building. I truly do not know why she has a job. I also hear
So relaxing and staff so kind and understanding
They are rude and very lazy n make stuff up as they go
As a first time donor, I was very pleased with the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. Everyone I came in contact with made me feel very comfortable and quickly answered any questions or concerns that I had. Now that I have been going on a regular basis for the past few months that opinion has not changed. The only down side is having to listen to other donors complain when things are not going there way. Yes, sometimes it takes awhile longer than you hope for. But complaining about it is ridicul
Friendly staff and fast process!
Staff is amazing knowledgeable and friendly
My name is Melissa L. I love, love, love this center! Every person i have encountered there over the last several months is amazing! They are not just nice, they are good at their job too. This time i?d like to give a special review to Huma. She is probably one of the nicest people i have ever met! She takes time out every time, to ask about me, my life. She is so good at her job and just lights the place up with her kind spirit. She deserves a lot of praise, she is one of the best!!
Center employees are very rude, they will not allow you to sit in the "waiting" area to wait for your loved one. Very disrespectful, calling donors by "pet names" unprofessional. They seem to carry themselves like they are better than you....very disturbing! I wouldn't dare use this center to donate at. Good look to the loved ones who wait for their loved one!!!
Overall the cleanness of the place is exceptional. They are fast but what I don't like is the fact that alot of employees allow who they want to in the back to donate (like the flirty ones) if your bp and heartrate is high you should not be allowing people in the back to donate or inputting the wrong information in the computer just because you like someone or flirting Very discusted in how your front desk vital technicians work.
Staff are Awesome people. It's a quick and pain free procedure. Most people give it less stars because they cant donate or it was their first visit and didnt have an appointment. Walk ins are welcome unless it's your first time, You must have an appointment, I cant stress that enough. Other than that it's a great facility.
I have been going here for over a year now. This was my first time donating anywhere. They walked me through the whole process as they cared and not just for the job. I love the staff, there are amazing. The center is clean. The wait times can at times be a little long, but they work hard on getting you back on a bed as fast as they can. Thank you GCAM!
Staff is amazing and ready to help when n wherever needed. I've donated from coast to coast I've past 20 yrs n this place is fastest and most comfortable experience donating plasma I have experienced. And rewards are so much better than CSL ??????
I've only donated one time so far, plan for my second to be in the morning, first impression was fantastic. Leagues above csl plasma both in customer service, accommodations, and cleanliness. During your first donation with most donation centers with all the extra steps and examinations that need to happen you can expect to be there at at least 4-5 hours, at this facility from the moment I stepped in the door til the moment I left it took maybe 2 hours. 10/10 would recommend.
Management is beyond rude and doesn't communicate at all.
Everyone here is laid back and fun to chat with. I just started donating recently and everyone has made me feel comfortable with the whole process. I don't know why people are giving them low reviews because I've been here 4 times and it's been a great experience every single time. Thank you all!
Came today 226pm to find they had the doors locked an refuses any donors of course on my 2nd donation of the week!!! The lady explained they wanted to go home at 3 no later!!! Per the lady that came to the door as another lady was trying to get in as well ... We where told appointments only now ??? Where do I even make an appointment???? I'll go else where to donate
Absolutely will rip you off, supposed to get 100$ for first 4 donations wasnt told anything else and it wasnt a coupon with fine print just what i was told by my checkin on first vist, gave me 40$ on 3rd visit and refused to pay. Do not go here spend the extra time and go to Biolife and get the money promised
Process has greatly improved.. Jessica, Ramy, and Damion are great! They are very caring and you can obviously tell they enjoy their jobs. Management should definitely take notice of these 3 and make sure they are as appreciated by them as they are by the donors.
Aweful customer service and rude... Brought a Case Management client in to the new GCAM Plasma center off Thompson Road and Emerson.... signed in, marked the box "new donor" and was asked to have a seat. Sat for about 5 minuets and one of the employees looked at us as if we were out of place and rudely said "Do you have an appointment"? We said no. We were then told if no appointment, then they refuse to see us. Now, I have taken many CM Clients to other centers, and have never been told they can't or wont
Picture is from my last donation may 14th. I posted the picture, may 19th. Employees are rude and rough..blood pressure machines are old out of date and not calibrated. Nurses had to stick me three times to get blood. Two in front of me had to leave because the nurses couldnt figure out how to get the needle in their arms properly. They got my plasma.. took them two hours to pay me. I will not be coming back here. Videos says it takes ten donations to make one dose of medicine. Hahaha. Guess grifols wasted
This center is so professional and clean, I love it. I have never seen a more clean center full of professional and kind people than this one. All the phlebotomists are wonderful and always ensure their donors are okay and feeling well. I just want to give this whole center a shoutout. Great job! I hope this review helps your center be placed at the very top, like you should be! Thank you all for the hard work you do everytime I come to donate! I love this center! You guys deserve much appreciation!
I've gone to this location on and off for about a year. The staff have always been knowledgeable, easy to work with, helpful, and kind. The promotions are nice, and if you're a quick donor you can earn some good side money for your time
They are very unprofessional. And the staff set up the clients to get deferred. They dont follow protocol when asking questions in the booths before you donate. The front staff Jessica and Liz always skips me right through the question process and just sign my name. I could have had aids and they never asked me do I understand. Thats dangerous. I want to contact health department. Also the supervisor Liz even once paid me an extra donation without donating so they steal from the company. Needs a secret shop
I'm surprised by the negative reviews. I've been here twice so far and have had nothing but a great experience. My veins are not great but they have gotten them both times. Everyone has been pleasant and helpful.
Old, angry white women See a lot of unprofessional things going on I wouldn't waste my time ever coming back there
We donate our plasma to help saves lives and make a lil extra in doing so. I have never been to a center that does not allow the donors family members or significant others to wait in their big empty waiting area. We take public transportation and we don't donate on the same days or center....any time my boyfriend is with me at my center the staff only ask how he is...now Grifols everytime asks me to wait outside doesn't matter the temperature outside or if it's raining. The staff at Thompson rd Grifols hav
Don't go here if you're on HRT. They won't accept anyone that takes anything for anti-androgen. Nice friendly staff, but terrible ?leadership?. Happy Pride month Griffols
Really a class act looks like a professional doctor's office. Their blood pressure machines are ultra-sensitive so if you're hypertensive you may not qualify like me.
Best plasma center in Indiana!!!
If you have a question don't bother trying they don't pick up the phone or if you come in and stand at the desk for 30 mins! Great customer service ??????
They punctured my arm and left a hole. After my arm blew up from the lack of knowledge in how to stick someone?s arm with a needle. After the fact that they couldn't put my blood back in my body after taking a pint of blood with the plasma and left me light headed. The staff should definitely go to class or take some courses on how to do their job correctly. It is unsafe. They're going to get a lawsuit one of these days.
DO NOT GO THEY ARE SCAMMING YOU. They make hundreds maybe thousands on your plasma and they want to give me $40 for my 1st donation in 8 months. SCAM!!!!!!!
If you're looking to donate to make some extra money or to just save a strangers life, go somewhere else. The initial appointment is too hard to book if you have a full time M-F job. I called today to schedule an initial and the first availble is Wednesday next week, no helpfullness with busy hardworking individuals. This must be a donation center for the unemployed or those with more open time frames. No thanks.
I am really in love with this center. I get nervous when my pulse is taken and it tends to come out high which makes me really panic therefore not able to donate. My pulse was 126 so I was sure Id not be able to donate and had given up when Deesha took my hands and began to breath with me, then gave me a magazine to read and omg when I looked over at the monitor my pulse was 98, yah! Thanks so much now I will not miss so many visits and also thanks Neva for the hardest laugh I've had all day, needed that. T
Gina is a rude lady who doesn't care and seems racist. Most of the workers seems this way. They didnt care to do their job correctly. She needs an attitude adjustment. BADLY.
This is one of the worst plasma centers in Indiana they never have staff someone is always fighting and the are slow
Nice clean and the employees are hard workers i have been to almost every center in Indianapolis and this on goes above and beyond. The employees are very friendly and always working and not standing around chit chatting like the other places I've been
Have been going to Biolife for months with no issue at all. First time at Grifols they spent 20 minutes fishing a needle around in my arm to only get a small amount of plasma and was told I would be paid the full amount when they had to stop only to be told the next day by their manager that they were ?being generous? by paying me only half for my time and suffering, not only unprofessional but unethical. I will stick with Biolife from now on.
IDENTIFY THEFT?! My friend and I both were turned away after having an appt and waiting for over an hour. They refused both of us for prescription medications. Our prescriptions were NOT listed on the sheet of medications at the checkin desk that you can't be taking to donate plasma nor on the list they give you after you're taking into a small room for admin. They took our pics and copied all of our personal identification BEFORE telling us that we were ineligible for plasma donation. My friend asked for h
I have gone there off and on since last year and I have never had a bad experience. Everyone there are sweethearts!! I highly recommend them!
The "nurse" Steve makes stuff up to cover himself. He specifically said to me he could go into people's files and change whatever he wanted to cause a lifetime deferral just because he doesn't like someone. Told the manager, of course he didn't believe me. Why would I make stuff up when there's a million Plasma places to donate to? Keep employing people like that. I'm going to report this business to BBB.
What kind of medical professionals cant do a manual set of vitals??? My god people...its like kids that cant do math without a calculator. Need to know how to do the basics like take a BP with a manual sphygmomanometer instead of wasting customers time due to inadequate training of staff that cant take a BP....or maybe company policy prohibits manual readings...either way it is ridiculous.
The staff was very pleasant, they get you in and out quickly. The center is clean and has an overall nice atmosphere.
Not very motivated bunch. Of the several time I went to attempt to donate, including showing early in the morning and was told they were still full. I suspect that those employed at front desk may not want to maximize the intake of new donor.
Mr. Smalley here. I'd like to say this is thee best plasma center in indy! I'm sad to say I had to leave due to grifols taking over.. Good attitudes. Very professional! 5 out of 5 in my book!
They constantly lie and change how much they pay you they told my roommate that he was going to get 85 and they only gave him 40 and he talk to him about it and they said that the ladies that told him that lied to him the CSL plasma is a better and more reliable place to go
Best place to donate by far!! Great staff! I've never had a wait ...
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
