I just want to say I was pleasantly surprised by my visit today. I read the reviews before going and it made me more nervous as it was the first time donating. I ended up going here and glad I did. Every staff member was pleasant and kind, not just to me, to every one that was there that I saw. It is a clean facility with caring workers that enjoy their jobs. Thank you for a pleasant experience! I don't think y'all get enough credit!

I started coming to Grifols since 2019 when it was Ked. Today, I came in and there was an alert or note I'm not exactly sure. They have a nurse come up. They say that it was reported that I had ?unexplained needle marks on my arms.? So the nurse checks my arms and of course there's nothing except the marks where they stick me. Great place! I donate in honor of my daughter who has a rare condition but the monetary incentive isn't bad either! Sometimes you get emails telling you about monetary bonuses if you complete donation goals. Everyone is very friendly (remember, Treat those how you want to be treated). Staff is very laidback while remaining professional, I'm always laughing in there. If you have a favorite person to stick you, you can request them. Saturdays are super busy, so I recommend going during the week. Use their app

Supervisor Midian blamed me for having difficult veins. He came to the front and He told me that I was making the staff feel bad because I would request for another staff to stick me. He came to the front and gave me a whole speech about my veins my conduct and my verbiage. I was in tears. I don't like making anyone feel less than. To start, my very first donation there I had gotten on their app and scheduled my first donation. It took 35-40 minutes to be called to the counter. I get there and he wants to do a vein check and takes me around back. They check my veins and send me back to finish the process. I sit at the counter for 30-40 minutes waiting for him to come back. He pokes around a few times laughing with the other employees but doesn't come back to me until the 40 minute mark. Turns out he went on break in the middle of help

Love this location! Everyone is always so personable and easy to talk to, I genuinely feel like family when I go in there. Lesa, Gina, Chris, Median, Sabrina, Dio, Sam and Carrie are my favorites and enjoy talking and seeing them.

My experience at Grifols has been great. The staff members are knowledgeable, kind, and efficient. The center is clean and bright. I especially would like to mention Sab and Sam as assets of your center. My vein can be hard to stick at times but, the aforementioned never miss a beat. I really like the staff but to allow these people waiting to be a new donor get by with yelling and cussing staff and putting down this worker for being white?racism is not right regardless of skin color. I love my experience every time I come here ! Sam is my FAV ! I love them all but Sam is my girl from day one when I came as a new donor she stuck me so smooth & quickly and I never feel it. In my experience most of the workers are not experienced in organization, costumer service, and consistency. They need more training. They don't return calls in a timely manner. Their service is slow. Understaffed but the facility is clean, I'll give them that. They shorted me fifty dollars but only giving me $75 on my first two visits. I'm still trying to contact them about this issue. These places treat people like they're not making a killing off of us.

I had a very good experience. The staff was kind, and answered all of the questions I asked. Your first time takes about 3 hours due to intake. Make sure you drink water so it is easy to find vein. Eat at least a hour before you arrive. Great staff. Fun and friendly.

DO. NOT. GO. HERE. The staff does not care about you. The staff backbites & gossips about each other & complains about lunch breaks right in front of their donors. The phlebotomists gossip about the donors right on the floor. They do not care about professionalism OR your health or well being. Very dangerous and sketchy place. Extremely sketchy. A bunch of incompetents. After my first donation, the lady, who I cannot call a nurse, was so preoccupied with smoking a cigarette that she forgot to bandage my arm so my blood was spewing everywhere, in front of everyone, the other donors and staff.

I went once ?- got stuck 3 times by people who are not certified phlebotomist, got bruised really bad on both arms . They claim everytime I came back (4 times over 2 weeks) they couldn't find a vein ? when really I don't think they know what they're looking for smh

The ladies are so rude. My boyfriend came three times to tried to donate. They don't give a specific reason why he can't donate. The second time it was because he don't speak English and a old lady said that he can bring a person, I went with him and he stool can't donate, they like it when people waste their time. And we have to wait a while. RIDICULOUS

Great staff...everyone is very helpful and friendly. Staff always smiles and keeps you laughing...knows you by name...genuinely good people with great sense of humor. Makes you feel right at home. My daughter and myself had appointment?s today at 8:00am and 8:15. We didn't even get through screening till after 9am and sent to back to wait. The guy that takes the plasma was standing around talking to the point we had to walk out so we wasn't late for work. They always only have 2-3 employees and set like 15-20 appointments for each slot. They need to hire more people or pay more for the wait considering how much they get for each container of plasma.. They need to take appoints faster and stop talking

In and out in less than 2 hours. 125 the first 8 visits not bad easy side money staff is great I don't see why all these people complain. I split up my first day I went in and was registered in about an hour then went back later after work and was in and out in about an hour. Just have to be smart about it. Well I've about had it was the rude ladies that check the vitals at the start?. They are EXTREMELY rude which really helps with the blood pressure and heart rate elevation. So I've been here a few times on a few different weekdays so I feel like I have enough varied experience now to be impartial. There are a few issues I have with this place but for the most part, it's passable. First screening day takes forever. To make this easier, go early, and don't go on a Saturday. My husband and I arrived at 1pm on a Saturday (their busiest day) and it took until 7pm when we finally left the facility, post screening and subsequent donation. Mrs. Smith should not be allowed to handle patients intake if her passive aggressive demeanor affects her judgment when handling sensitive materials. The unprofessional behavior I witnessed today when someone who has already taken plasma refuses to identify themselves is not a good representation of positive work ethic. Rather than try to resolve, mediate or deescalate, I was only met with unnecessary attitude from this person and treated like a second class citizen.

Bruised multiple times ( if you thought I was dehydrated why stick me 3/4 times then tell me I can't come back for weeks !) people need the money and you guys need the plasma ?.. Facility is Clean. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Always seems to have promotions for earning extra rewards. The process is quick, other than my first visit, it has never taken me longer than 1.5 hrs from waking in the front door to finishing up and leaving. This place is one of the better plasma centers I have been to. Needs more parking spaces available.

This is now my 6th time in a month trying to get into this place. I used to come years ago. Every time they say they can't take new donors because they are understaffed. I came at open thinking it would help. Nope was told to come back after 10am. You have to be kidding me. If you're a new donor, don't waste your time. Pathetic.

This place is a joke. I've been donating since 2015. My wife is trying to donate. 1st attempt: needs a note from her Dr saying its okay, got the note they said she was all good, 23 show up again 2nd attempt: got here at 430pm they say they're short staffed and can't do her physical so we had to leave. We come back 3rd attempt: they told her bring her id and updated social security card (she changed her last name when we got married, they said she can't donate because she didn't bring her marriage license. It doesn't make sense the waiting period is after you have went through the intake process. Today it took me 3 hrs took b seated with empty seats available. Also they don't go in order of intake. Everyone time is valuable. It's demeaning when you've worked all day then come here and people get called before you do and it's hey aren't first time donor's. The management on this shift sucks. This will be my last time donating. Then after you're done they take forever to get released

Arrived 8:30 Friday. Was informed I must have an appointment to donate. Then they realized I was a new donor and asked someone in the back who said no. New do ors need appointments also. None of this is mentioned on their web site and at the sign in counter it states the opposite. Don't waste your time. I went to donate today for the first in two years. I was treated like a first time donor. I had to take the physical. I have a deviated symptom. I have to wade up paper towel or to to clean my nose. When she checked my nose there was white fragment in my nose. I was turned down as a suspected drug abuser which I am not. She admitted that I did not act or show any signs of drug abuse in my behavior or personality. It was insulting.

Where to start? I have completed the new donor program at another donor center in Myrtle Beach with not a single issue. I have high blood pressure that I control with a low dose medicine with no issues. I check my BP frequently at home and it always reads normal. Went to the facility to donate and they told me that my blood pressure was too high, the numbers read something like 172/128. Which is utterly ridiculous. Very unprofessional have very few good staff the wait is long they seem just to be in another world joking and playing around instead of getting you screened now they make you stand in line . Out of 8 donations they infiltrated me 4 out of 8 visits and I have great veins . I been donating for 3 years now at a different state and never had problems. Don't complain to the staff there call corporate you will have better results !!!!

Ridiculous first time wait of 5 hours before being asked to come back when I was completely off of a medication. I waited a month after discontinuing the medication and returned here, only for a staff member to tell me I was on a lifetime ban for being on that medication. He and another staff member openly discussed my medical history in front of EVERYONE loudly and embarrassed me. I called the main center and went on the DEA website to find that I was eligible to donate after 6 months of discontinuation.

The first time too 3 to 4 hours just for them to turn me away because they couldn't feel my vein without trying to stick. I've done plasma before so I know my vein is large enough. They are terrible at sticking veins. While donating I saw two peoples donations get messed up because this girl America set up the tubing incorrectly and they whispered about it and didn't tell the person. Place is super sketchy.

Not my First time donating although it was my first day at griffols/ked .brandy was my sticker, she made the best experience donating ive ever had. She asked questions based on MY comfort level. Barely felt the needle. EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL i'd recommend her to my grandmother. Informational, efficient & most of all caring. I look forward to coming so long as brandy is here.

I waited around three hours to complete the new donor sign up process. First time is the longest.If you haven't mastered the art of patience don't waist your time..But it was worth the wait.Got paid to contribute help saving lives.

2nd donation at this location everyone has been very helpful and very kind! I have donated at a Grifols in another state it was dirty ill run and unorganized. This has been a pleasant experience and it's much appreciated.

Ruined my arm, I now have a permanent scar. I had a missstick and the employee told other clients (who she didn't know I knew) that it was my fault and gave them FULL details on what happend. Very unprofessional! I called corporate and they did NOTHING about it. I have also seen drug deals go down in the parking lot while donating. And there was blood in the bathroom on a number of visits.

Now I see why this place only gets low lifes and homeless people in there. I went to donate today for my first time. Was told I need a drivers license and ss card. I bring it in. Then they tell me they need proof of address the last 30 days. I go back home and bring it in. NOW, because of a SUFFIX on my name, they can't accept my proof of address. Good lord! I brought my friend to the Myrtle Beach center to give plasma for some extra money. We walked in at about 11:30 am on a Monday. They explained to him that he had to go through a registration process. That took about an hour and a half. Once his registration process was complete, they then notified him that he had to have a physical before the plasma procedure. Very impressed with the professional atitude of employees.Center is very clean. And about as up to date as a plasma center could be .Each donor goes through a very thorough exam on initial visit and a very competent check on vitals each time you donate.I have yet to get a bad stick I don't know if they are certified phlebotomists but they certainly know what they are doing. I am a certified phebotomist so I know what I am talking about.I would highly recommend this facility.

Five days later would not let me donate because i stopped previous session due to being a guinea pig to a lady qho does not need to be around anything sharp. Wouldn't recommend this place. Waited four hours just to find out i?m not allowed to donate because of a medical condition when they should?ve told me before i waited that long. My husband had been donating at the Myrtle Beach location for a whole year and then they said he was no longer able to simply because he has mental health that he is on medication for and that's not right it's discrimination.

Worst experience with a plasma place. Ive donated many times at a different place and NEVER has an issue. I went in and was poked around 1p.m its now 10 p.m and im still bleeding. The guy who poked me perforated my veins on BOTH of my arms. DO NOT GO HERE! I was stuck with the same needle 3 different times. He busted my veins so bad he couldnt return the blood he took.

We took everything in we needed to bring in and because our landlords address was different on our lease they turned us away. We live in an apartment because it said retreat on the lease they said NO. All the crack and meth heads sitting in there more than likely didn't have all the things we had and have no place to live. I was not comfortable with their process of screening. I left without donating plasma. I felt like a drug user by the time I got through the medical exam. Will never go there again.

Great place great staff friendliest people caring and professional. Important resource for others. Easy money for hour to hour and half spent at their facility.

They like having you postured in what they expect from you(fluids / protein levels) ,but it is hard to have them as they should punctually be about recieving us in. Proficiently ready behind the counter.

The people are very nice but the wait is very long even for return donors and the moneys ok for the first 5 visits after that its not worth it to go im all for a good cause but trust me they are making a killing off the medical supply's we are giving if it was truly and act of good intentions the medication should be free then the pay wouldent be such an issue as alot of these medications are life saving

This used to be one of the best plasma donation centers I've been to. But ever since Kedplasma took it over its like there making budget cuts or something because it hasn't been staffed well AT ALL... I average 3 to 4 hours here every time I come now.

They are so unfair when it comes to the people who already did there questionnaire at home they sign in and then the people who sign in on the machine they get called up first to get there physical before us that been signed in first there on fair to us

The staff here are very friendly. Having come here several times I can say that I have felt welcome by the staff here. Since the company has changed to KED Plasma the crowds have been lot less. The extra cash given as compensation has helped me out a lot when times have been hard.
