The reviews present a polarized consensus. Complaints highlight poor management, inconsistent rules, and frequent rejections for vague reasons. Customer Reviews

Only been there twice now and I feel both time's were good. 1st visit was a little bit longer than expected but they had to go all the med checks and I was made to feel comfortable and had good conversation with staff. 2nd time faster, went in before my appointment and was able to do it then, slow in back but was fairly busy and first stick in arm didn't make it but switched arms and in and out in under 2 hours. Just wish I could figure out how the pay scale works... All in all so far good experience's

Terrible experience here. Upon arrival the staff greeting was not interested in doing her job and had an attitude. As I continued the process all you could hear was staff talking trash about one another and those who weren't there. They not only blew out my vein but messed up not one arm but two with their careless manner. All in all, THE WORST PLACE IVE EVER BEEN TO. Zero professionalism. I wouldn't return even if I need the bonus cash! I've had wonderful places elsewhere and never had issues. I DO NOT REC

if i could rate 0 stars i would. i was there for a total of 5 hours, 3 of which were spent watching 6 different technicians take turns pulling out and resetting setting the needle, while i sat there crying. i asked multiple times if i could just go home and was told ?well let me try one more thing? about 4 times over the span of an hour. i was 96 away from the full donation when the needle was no longer in my vein so no blood wasn't coming threw and they decided to just push the saline threw and let me go,

The people here are incredibly rude and refuse to listen to donors. The only kind and polite person I've met here was a friendly face who I believe was named Jordyn.

Every time I come in here the same girl with glasses Dar something sits in the stairwell on her phone ignoring donors and not working. Im surprised she doesnt get reprimanded or talked to. Why work here if you don't want to help donors?

I love these people here. They don't judge and they all get along together so well. I really feel like you can tell people here like their jobs. Would always come back

The first, second and third visits were actually all in all, 4 of 5 stars...visit 4 on Tuesday was very bad for my poor arm. I let my tech know that tech Jaylin, awesome tech, advised me to let upcoming techs to stretch my skin to avoid the vein rolling which leads to a blowout and pain...almost immediately. I'm asked if it hurts, YES I respond, multiple times as tech works to alleviate the pain. As I'm first pumping, still have some pain, but I get 73 output then machine beeps loudly, stopping the process,

Exceptional staff who genuinely care about their clients. Clean and open atmosphere.

Bad attitude employees and long wait times. Absolutely not worth donating.

I have been donating at this place since last year and it started out great no issues at all! Until recently no there's no staff and they aren't friendly anymore now when I walk in I see some familiar faces but no one is friendly and oh my God slow.. I am considering the possibility of going somewhere els too . I gave 2 stars for the beginning of my experience here sad to me because before when you walked in it use to feel like a second family and it was nice what a disappointment total turn around

All of the staff has always been respectful and caring towards myself and the other person that rides with me to donate. Sometimes there is a decent amount of time to wait before you get in the door but they're doing their best, I would rather them not rush and take their time when sticking me and setting up the machine anyway. Any issues I've ever had they addressed professionally and I always came away happy. Great place to go!

I donated for the first time yesterday and the team was amazing. I let them know ahead of time that I'm a Fainter, and everything was great. I had about 50ml left to donated when I did faint. The team was amazing and helpful. They had all the equipment needed to handle the situation and was so amazing ab professional. AND CARING. 10/10 recommend this place!

Pleasant atmosphere, the staff is patient, and caring. Grifols has done so much for me this year. Thank you.

These people are all just great! Every single person that works there is awesome!! Have grown fond of a few of their employees! Always a pleasant experience!!

The most disorganized plasma donation places in Columbia. After siting around for 3 1/2 hours I finally to my physical. And then another hour to donate. I was supposed to be a new donor as they told me multiple time the day prior and today. Only to get home and realize they only gave me 45$ instead of the 100$ for a new donor. Once I called they didn't even give me explanation to why I was told by staff, I would receive 100. They just told me I'd have to wait 6 months to get 100$. Absolutely no profession

I've been donating plasma for about 5 years and been coming here for over a year. It was slow when I started due to being short staffed, but they've hired some new employees and everyone is always nice and professional. I've never had a problem coming here and The staff all try to get everyone through as efficiently as possible, but some donors have little patience or understanding and cause problems for the staff. If you want to donate, you HAVE to have alot of time the initial first visit. After that, mak

I will not be going back to this facility again. I was able to donate 3 times and now everytime I go in they say my pulse is to high. After 3 times they said I had to go see my doctor and get a note. My doctor checked me out and gave me the all clear to donate. I took the note in and when they took me back my pulse was still to high. They didn't care that my doctor had said I could donate. I tried 2 more times and still they say my pulse is to high. I truly believe they have somehow rigged those mac

The first day I went in there I had not drank water or eaten for 24 hours and they let me donate, every day after that on a full stomach and fluids I get turned down because my iron levels are too low even though they get 37 exactly every time they check and the girl next to me who got denied also had 37 exactly? The staff needs to be retrained and on the same level of understanding as everyone else. I shouldn't have to worry about what person is on staff for me to donate- it should be the same for every pe

This place is just unorganized and rude. My husband called Saturday to see how it worked because we would be new donors. They told him he would need to come in during the week because they didn't take new patients on the weekends. Which is understandable. Fast forward to Tuesday, we both walk in and are turned away because they can only take so many new patients in one day, fine but it went unmentioned during the phone call on Saturday. So we just drove an hour for no reason. We get back home and I have him

If I could give zero stars then I would. I have never seen a place with such bad communication with each other. I have been trying to donate to pay bills. So tell me it isn't frustrating to be making sure you're eating a healthy diet and drinking an extreme amount of fluids to be able to donate and when I go in after going in two or three times before and being able to get checked in and get told that I will not be able to donate at all. Even if it was specified to me once and I just forgot and come in agai

I've been donating here for 10+ years MOST of the staff is great, friendly and professional. I havebeen turned away a few times but it's understandable they do have rules in place like anyone else that must be followed. There's only a few complaints I've had on this center and nothing big at all but as i was being worked up yesterday I had to witness an employee get completely chewed out for something that he had no control over my only (admittedly, said employee is a little stand offish but didn't see what

This is place is ran TERRIBLY. One, what is the point of having an express check in when those who use the kiosk at the place get checked in first? And I understand they are short staffed, but why such the long wait, even when it's not busy? Compared to CSL Plasma, this place is a joke. No, more like a clown show. And anyone who rated this place more than three stars is either a bot or it's a fake account. Now I wait for the "snarky and professional" response from this place that can't seem to take cr

I went to another center and was treated terribly. Came here to friendly and experienced staff. They're amazing!! Will keep coming here! It's a fun thing to do while helping people and making some extra money. Highly recommend this place as they genuinely care for their donors.

If I could give a 1 star I absolutely would. My husband calls up here to be a new donator and they say yea no problem we will pay 100 dollars come on up my husband drives 45 minutes there and they say " uhh we aren't taking new donators" like what do you mean you literally said no problem come up! And then the place is nasty and ran down super dirty beware of this place you will waste time and gas! An hour and half driving for absolutely nothing! Can't believe you even have a 4 stars I can't believe you hav

Do not donate here. Donating almost 30 times in the last few times they have completely destroyed my arm, the last time I was there I donated almost a full bottle of plasma then something happened and the line got clogged so they couldn't return my platelets, so for that reason they weren't going to pay me and did not pay me. Yet they kept my plasma and sent it off meaning they got paid for my plasma and I know they didn't throw it away. So basically I spent 3 hours there got stuck by big needle and bruised

Not sure what happened to my last review especially since I got such a lovely reply . It's okay I found out how to contact Grifol about the center directly and made sure I took a screen shot of my original review I'll make sure to send that all in. Enjoy my run on sentences, and thanks for proving everyone?s point on how rude and unprofessional you are. And yep I'll be back in and I'll make sure and get proof next time I come in on how much I'm suppose to be getting. It's funny and cute how instead of learn

I've been donating at this facility for the past 5 months or so and never had a problem other than having to wait a decent amount of time. Today I was turned away for having a ?low pulse? after waiting for over an hour. I am a healthy 21 year old with a naturally low resting heart rate so being declined from donating for a low pulse is ridiculous and extremely frustrating.

Great place to donate and spend your time!

Complete waste of time. Thumb print scanner didn't work. Tried to weigh me, that scale didn't work. Took my temp when I arrived, 97. Just a few minutes there, they take me back and check my temp a second time after the weight scale messed up and said my temp was 94 it's too low yet just a few minutes prior the other machine said 97. There's nothing they can do and send me out, after an hour and a half drive. They said try rinsing my mouth with warm water next time I come in! Worthless

Staff is very friendly and patient. Always willing to have a good laugh or two! Recent system upgrades seem to have helped significantly in the plasma donation process. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. In my many years of donating at this center I can say every trip is a great time. Easy money.

I've gone here 8 times. 6/8 times I had an issue and they couldn't stick my arm correctly, and I ended up with bruised arms that I could barely lift for 4 days and it was extremely swollen. I understand that there are a lot of phlebotomists that are new, and I'm not blaming them for that, but it seems like there's about 3 people there that know what they're doing. if you have small or even semi-small veins, don't bother. the pain isn't worth the money that you get. trust me, I tried it, and every time I wou

Its always a quick experience for me. And the staff are always kind. However, I have been going to this location for a while and do not like the unprofessional actions of some of the employees. One worker Terriel I believe is always complianing to other staff about the influx of donors because it is close to closing time but he does this in front of people donating which is extremely inappropriate. I have also witnessed him and on occasion other employees yell across the room at their coworkers in a very ru

Very nice people and place. I go occasionally for some quick money. I believe i have never seen a place where its employees seem happier than this place. Ask for Destiny, Brook, Ivan-all are awesome and very very good at their jobs.

THE UPPER STAFF ARE GREAT W WORKING W PEOPLE. I CANT WAIT TO DONATE AGAIN. FAIR PEOPLE AND UNDERSTANDING. I THINK ANYONE WILL ENJOY THIS EXPERIENCE

Passive aggressive and rude employees, unprofessional and were talking rudely donors in front of my face with other colleagues. Would not recommend, waste of time and this is a multiple occurrence

First timer: Very nice, happy people. I got pale and flushed during my donation and they stopped everything without my say-so but I'm glad, i was too proud to say i couldn't handle it. Best way to handle the repetitions&time is to understand they are doing their jobs(step into their shoes!) assume you will be there at least 3hrs(1stvisit) and joke with them, let the dragging time run by smoother and funner! Don't forget you're parking downtown, bring plenty of quarters. They accepted my loan statement as pr

Always short staffed. You'll wait longer than the parking you pay for allows. Their business hours are never listed correctly. I could go on and on just go to CSL and save yourself the hassle.

Lots of reasons this place is a complete joke! 1. There is no free parking or parking lot, there are meters close by but you can only use them for 2 hours at a time. So basically you have to go out and put more money in if you go over 2 hours. 2. When you go earlier in the month, you have zero issues getting in but it's odd that when you go later in the month like when it's time to get the extra $10 (5-10th donations) they find anything wrong with you. Your pulse is high, your blood pressure is one number

This place is a joke! There rude. Slow. And can't answer questions. Made it threw finally after being turned down for high blood pressure, to be told my protein is to high, it was 10.2 gots to be between 6-9 isn't higher protein better? Well there " nurse" couldn't answer my question! They need a whole new staff. Absolutely a nightmare there. I drive 30 miles to get a little extra money for electric and to put food on my table. Thanks alot.

Everyone is so nice and friendly. And then you have the grinch lady nurse, not sure of her name but she needs to work on her people skills. She is simply rude and could use some extra training from the younger workers or simply retire.

Everyone was nice except the nurse I'm pretty sure her name was Brandy she was so rude to me for no reason I don't understand. And it seems no one in store was willing to help me deal with her without me getting deferred for life. This plasma center ALWAYS defer donors for almost anything! But NURSE BRANDY is the reason I'll never return and I'll see to it anyone I know donates at the new center. Why would I reffer a friend so such a place with such a mean nurse that we ALL have to deal with?

They refused to give a bonus today for 2nd donation of the week bc my Fianc? didn't come in on EASTER (we have kids) he tried to call yesterday morning with no answer and google said hours may differ so he went in today. They told him at check in to have them roll his bonus over for today when he leaves. He donated and went to check out and they refused his bonus! We are calling Grifols! This is illegal on what they are doing! Do not donate here! Choose a more professional location.

Told me I couldn't donate because I live at a sober living house, even though I have received mail from the social security department and FSD there. I have a friend that lives at another sober living house that was able to donate just fine. Don't go here they seem to pick and choose who they will allow to donate.

Everyone here is so nice and friendly, especially the people drawing your blood. I have veins that are really hard to stick and everyone makes me feel really comfortable. I genuinely have a fun time going to this place.

So the first time I went there and they only hard one nurse, 4 hour wait. The 2nd time, I went all the way through and they took my BP and pulse. My pulse was at 101 and it wasn't in their range they wanted, it needed to be at 100. I guess they don't need it the plasma that bad. Done never again!

The customer service at this location is HORRIBLE. I came in as a new donor and NOBODY actually went through the steps with me. All they had me do is read the booklet and see the nurse. Nobody showed me where the Kiosk was where i needed to do the questionaire. Nobody explained the new donor fees to me or the regular fee. It has just been a real unprofessional expierence. Im glad they have a CSL about to open here in Columbia because Ive always had a pleasant experience there no matter what city Ive lived i

Wish I could give more this place let me donate three time with only two days in between and when I tried to donate again with another two from my last donation they refused me and told me I had a set schedule which was never informed to me prior. It's truly unprofessional.

They canceled my scheduled appoinment twice. The third time i made it all the way to a "vein check" i use to donate plasma in the military and have never heard of this. just for a staff member to come out and say wow i love your tatoos how many do you have? After stating im not sure seems like alot. Another lady comes over and says im sorry you can only have 15 they all started laughing over me while im sitting there confused because i have donated plasma with the same amount of tattoos. Probably 5 session

Staff is always polite, most know what they're doing. After donating so many times it is just routine going in and donating. Can know most of the staff by name you feel so comfy

Long story short: about 75% of the workers are just mean for no reason. I've donated here a couple times despite the obvious lack of training the staff has, but almost every time 3 of the 4 staff members I interact with just have such a mean attitude and make it apparent that they don't want to talk to you

Nice place to go donate the employees treat you like family

Great people HORRIBLE new donor system, then want to FORCE people to TRY and use something.... Something of which DOESN'T ALLOW YOU TO LOG In... there's other places out there to donate near by any more, we don't have to go here to tolerate this new pos system their forcing

I loved it, great experience!

Worst center in Columbia? staff are very rude and passive aggressive? I do not feel comfortable donating here. Someone retrain Erin on her customer service skills

Come early if you want to get out quick other wise expect to be there for 2 hrs minimum. One Disclaimer you can park for free until 9am at your own risk!

Well i think we are really clean and professional:)) most people get on here and talk bad about us maybe because they didn't get to donate or just don't really have good veins but it's fine. We are always here to help you make a couple extra bucks:)) HAPPY DONATING!!!!!

They work fairly quickly and I haven't had any problems. Usually in and out within an hour and a half, some days longer depending on how busy it is. The staff is nice.

Staff was pleasant and friendly.

As a previous donor, I don't respect that when they took 2 tubes blood to send to a lab for testing (which they do every 4 months), the only thing that came back off was my protein was too low by .1, -- and they wouldn't let me give plasma again -- until I let them draw 2 more tubes of blood (which I didn't) and they send that to a lab for testing -- which they said would take a week to get the results back. I think this is ridiculous, just for protein that is only out of range by .1. Protein is a variabl

They called me and told me that if I come in and donate then they would pay me $100, I'm very low on money but I spent the gas money to drive half an hour there and half an hour back, but they turned me away because I had a change of address and wouldn't accept the piece of mail I brought in OR the address on my drivers license. So now I'm extremely low on money because of them.

The nurse BRANDY is so rude and has extremely insidious attitude towards the people donating. And this plasma center has a habit of deferring donors for life LITERALLY if you forget your donate days and come early by mistake. THE OTHER PLASMA CENTER IS WAY BETTER AND NICER STAFF ALSO CLEANER ENVIRONMENT.

No one ever answers the phone. Unless the workers have been there for years none of the other know anything about phlebotomy and almost pass out at the site of blood. CSL staff is more competent.

Best local place to do your donation great staff and very helpfull

Do NOT go to this place, I went there today to try and donate me. They turned my down cause my mediacom bill was 31 DAYS PAST BILLING. If it were yesterday they would have been happy to accept it but today? OMG ITS 1 DAY PAST 30, WE CAN'T ACCEPT YOU. Now I'm gonna get kicked out of my apartment for not having rent. Thanks a lot Plasma Biological Services Inc.

PUT 5 STARS SO THIS WOULD GET SEEN! WORST PLASMA PLACE AROUND HERE! Yes they may have "better customer service" than the other place in Columbia, but THEY DO NOT INFORM YOU THE ACTUAL AMOUT THEY CONPENSATE YOU. THEY DO NOT LIKE TO PAY PEOPLE! DONATE AT YOUR OWN RISK! THEY LOST A WHOLE BOOK OF PEOPLE'S DONATION RECORDS! COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!

Very professional. All the staff were polite, helpful. I was a new donor and it only took me 2 and half hours. I was very pleased with the entire experience!!!!

Lady working today was extremely rude. She was making it very obvious that she did not want anyone else coming in and was trying to get people to leave.

Wonderful staff, that always makes you feel welcome, and gets you through the process as quickly as possible. Very professional but makes the experience fun, and some have a great sense of humor!!!

It's been almost 2 hours and they they still haven't add the money to my card just trying to get food and get some rest because donationing makes me tired, looks like raman for another night...

Been donating here for years! Great people, kind and friendly! Do there best to make you comfortable and a good donation experience!

They never open on time. They are always running late in the mornings. When they are supposed to open at 7am, you are still standing outside waiting at least 10 -15 minutes. When people are trying to fit this in before they go to work, it is not accomidating.

Very unprofessional and they sent u over petty bs that other more popular plasma centers won't. Make u wonder if they even want to work that much. Seems like they just want to collect a paycheck

NURSE BRANDY WAS SO MEAN AND HATEFUL TO ME FOR NO REASON. IM NOT SURE IF SHES HAVING A BAD DAY BUT I DIDNT DESERVE THAT SO THE MONEY JUST ISNT WORTH IT FOR ME. IM NEVER COMING BACK AND THE NEW PLASMA CENTER IN COLUMBIA IS WAY BETTER. AND THE STAFF IS SO MUCH NICER.

They turned me away for my tattoo sleve ..said it was to much detail and they cant tell what each one is ..i said its all one peice ..i called corporate and a women answered the phone unprofessional I asked to speak with someone about this location and got voicemail .. I will update soon as i hear back ..but this to me is a form of discrimination.

It's great to help others and get $ too, but sometimes the employees can be a little chatty with one another instead of hooking everything up.

The entire process of giving plasma is an easy one made even easier by the very polite and helpful staff. They are friendly and go out of their way throughout the process.

Workers are super nice and they work as best they can to get donors in and out!

Always clean and friendly they try hard to get people in and out as fast as they can.

Love the cleanness not always smartest ppl but get an older member meaning not a new employee your good always ask for one of the following. JJ,mia,Kevin,Mike

Very caring staff!! Always attend to you.....easy way to make extra cash and help others by donating plasma!! Check it out.

Wouldn't take my plasma because of my 10+ year old sleeve tattoo! Said that they couldn't tell if it had anything recently added to it. Anyone who knows anything at all can tell a recent tattoo to one a decade plus older.

I'm up set my husband donated twice and I didn't get my bonus all because he didn't say my name he didn't know neither did I I just thought he donate 2 times and I get my bonus this isn't right but I helped them with a new donor

Nurses were nice and process was quick and painless surprisingly! Easy money ??

Seriously I was turned away bcz I have more than 15 tattoos 10/19/17 SMH. I guess I'll stick with donating twice a week at BioLife .

Great Place.....Great People....Show these guys some Respect......See you soon...lol

Great place great staff! And you get money for donation of plasma and you can help save a life!

Friendly and professional staffing, very clean and ensure the donor is healthy to donate, and you are paid for your donations.

Jordyn has the Best Stick!!!!!!??
