I have been going here for 3 years. They have made improvements to avoid long waits with the app where you can do the questionaire as well as avoid long waits by making an appointment. The staff does their best but sometimes it's beyond their control. The flabottomists are friendly and Attentive. Sometimes they are short staffed but they get you in and out as fast as they can.

I had a nice experience here only complaint I have since I transferred from Chicago to here. Is that they don't use Chase Bank prepaid cards like the city which is way more convenient to take cash out

If donating for a full month, I've learned that donating blood plasma regularly or every so often requires thinking ahead carefully of how many days are in the month you want to donate and requires planning around what Grifols has established as a "donation week" aka calendar week (as advertised) which starts on Tuesday and ends on Sunday. Grifols deferred me from all of their locations and placed me on the NDDR list after I complained about their staff sticking people without cleaning the area. And the armed security guard at the location was arrested for impersonating a police officer after he antaganized me while wearing a vest that said "police" and was armed. I usually have a great experience here but on Tuesday I did not. Do not go after 4. It seems the technicians are in a hurry to just go home and get careless with their jobs. The technician, a small Spanish girl (wasn't able to get her name) came over to me with an attitude, shoved the paper in my face, didn't tell me my name or numbers, she started ripping the old cords out of the machine and installing a new one like it was a speed challenge. Am working out of town in Woodstock in from Morris Illinois so I scheduled an appointment in Elgin since it's only a 20 minute drive,they told me I'm out of their network I'm too far away from my home address which is not stated anywhere on the website,maybe you should have people enter their zip code on the website before wasting people's time gas $ and tolls for nothing,the way they determine the "network" is they ask someone in the back lol really scientific

Overall, it's not a bad place to earn a little extra cash in your free time. The staff is really friendly, but you might have to wait, especially on weekends when it can be understaffed. However, if you don't mind the occasional wait, I recommend coming here for the good service.

This place use to be good to go to. Now they take forever to get you hooked up and they try to pay the leaset. I regret coming here everything. Unfortunately I have summers off and could use the extra money. Sometimes I feel like it isn't worth the gassel amd half the time the staff are changing up and have difficulty finding my veins.

I would drive 30 minutes to, spend 25 minutes doing intake process, spend about 50 minutes doing the blood donation, then drive home 30 minutes with a hole in my arm for only 35/40 bucks. Never was about the money, but i have dignity. Is a clean place and well trained staff though.

Pro: The wait is typically short. Cons: they keep reducing the payments, they took away just about every bonus that had me come back. In an effort to keep this short I can only say that at this time my only dissatisfaction is that I am not confident that the compensation will be what I am used to as it keeps going down. I tried to donate here but they always give me many excuses because of my address or bank statement. I'm already registered in a different state with grifols but they denied me . The manager is rude and the ladies in front two, don't go there.

Terrible and unprofessional facility! The girls who take your vitals complain about their jobs and hours. Super unprofessional. They close their doors early before their official closing time. They are missing out on people actually willing to donate plasma because they would rather go home. Also the technicians who actually take your plasma are typically new and can't find your veins. Horrible place. Most of the staff are rude and dismissive. Every time you go in there is a problem of some kind. I had one nurse completely miss my vein. I watch her and could see it about to happen. They also switched systems and didn't notify clients. Came in early to donate only to be told I had to set up a one on one appointment to transfer my data (WTH?)? another day. I've worked in IT support and I've never seen so much incompetence. Sad.

I was donating for almost two years, but because of the lower rates and shorter hours I stopped coming. The staff are not always great, the front desk people are always loud and gossiping. As for the phlebotomists, there are some really good ones, but they also have new people that I would be scared to have them stick me with a needle. It's a toss up of whether you get a good one. Overall, it is ok but not worth it for me to go there anymore

For a first time donor at this location, they have very horrible horrible customer service and very horrible horrible to people who are first time donors they pre-oppression them they make them feel very uncomfortable and very rude and disrespectful so if anybody ever wants to donate plasma go somewhere else don't go to this location

The location is clean but longer wait times since implementing new systems along with less days to donate can make it difficult to return. Flexibility is important. Update: As sometime has passed, the speed for donation has greatly improved. Otherwise, very friendly staff.

The staff was nice when I came in. But the supervisor phlebotomist would not take the time to find a vein to use. I drove over an hour to be here. And she took two minutes to tell me no. I've had plenty of large gauge needles in my veins from the VA being a disabled Veteran. And she didn't even try. I wasted my time and gas driving here. What a waste of time.

I was supposed to be paid last week and still haven't been paid. Management is to busy to talk to me even though they owe me 55 dollars and nobody will talk to me to say when I'm getting my money. Very unprofessional. Do not recommend going here. Oh and corporate is based out of Spain so I can't even speak with them about getting my money. Joke of a business

This was a really nice place to donate , seems a new company and system has taken over. I think this company needs to reconsider its values and take care of its doners and compensate them properly. 200.00 dollars for new and returning doners is ridiculous. Other centers are giving over 4 times that.I would understand if this business was not for profit but that's not the case. The staff has always treated me great and still does great job. Hope for changes soon.

I recently started going here. It is a really clean place and if you listen to their directions it goes very smoothly. the first time takes a while, but after that, depending on how much you give, it takes about an hour for the whole process. Everyone there is pretty nice, and i've yet to have any problems. You will definitely see a wide variety of people here, but overall you just sit there on your phone until it's done.

People that work here are mostly nice and try to make it as smooth of a process as possible. The facility is clean, although it kinda feels like you're in a prison. Could they at least put up a couple pictures or something? Payouts are quick but the card is laden with fees.

The staff here are actual saints and the rates are good. I've been going here on and off since 2014 and it seems like every single aspect of this place has gotten progressively better, translating to higher rates, and very much shorter wait times. I used to come here twice a week. You maybe had to wait 15 minutes to get seated. All the sudden. It's an hour plus don't know what's happening here but might go back to BioLife. Not waiting 3 hours when I can get through in an hour at BioLife

It was my first time donating plasma today. I had a great experience at this facility. I gave myself plenty of time because the first visit takes about 3 hours (after that it's about an hour per visit). Also you must be VERY VERY hydrated, feeling generally healthy, and have had a large healthy (non-greasy) meal before hand, otherwise you will probably get super dizzy and have to stop the donation. Super comfortable treatment. On my first time I was there for about 2h, I meet few people before my general plasma donation. Everybody was super nice and they explain me every single step, cause I was super afraid. Nurse, who did my IV was Very Nice And gentle, she shows me how machine works, why/what/when. I went for my initial plasma donation today. The facility was very clean and every individual who I interacted with was polite and professional. It is important to bring your ID, SSI card, and some mail with your address on it. It is also important to hydrate, eat something healthy before arriving, and be prepared to answer many questions, as well as receive a medical examination. My first visit took about 2.5 hours including the plasma donation, which I had anticipated and they also prepared me for. I

The staff is informative and friendly. A clean and sanitized environment is maintained throughout the building. Every time I come to donate, I am seen in a timely manner (depending on how busy it is at that moment). Donations seem to only take about an hour long, after the initial visit. My advice to a potential donor: understand all the documents/ID's that must be brought in for the first time. The best way to do that is calling the center.

This has become my favorite place to donate, staff are nice & professional, clean environment, and the equipment is more modern than other centers I've been to. Less of a wait as well, pretty much get onto the chair to donate, with minimal waiting. So far a very good experience donating through them

The first time, I was not allowed to donate because the girl doing my physical didn't think that what I had for breakfast was enough. So after being there for 2 HOURS, I had to leave disappointed. I have been donating for well over 15 years and this is by far the best place I have ever gone to. They are super fast and very friendly plus the pay is much more than most places. I literally drive 25 minutes to come here when I have another plasma place 7 minutes from me. GO HERE YOU WONT BE DISAPPOINTED.

It's gonna be a no from me. I had 3 nurses look at my veins after being told I'm good to go! The nurse was nice but you have left me a god awful bruise because you seem to not know how to do your job! I wish I could share a picture. When you donate the first 5 times, you get 50 bucks and 10 dollars everytime you refer someone. The staff there are very friendly, courteous, and always on top of their game. Keep in mind, on your first trip there you wanna get there as early as possible since it takes a while to get through the initial screening process. After your first time, it becomes a very quick and easy process.

The money is ok but they seem to always be woefully understaffed and there is always a wait. There's nothing to tell you how long your wait will be and even when there's a lot of donors waiting the staff seem to just sit there rather than processing the donors. Now I don't know their process of course but it just seems something could be done to speed up this process.

I had a good experience here, donating plasma for the first time. Staff was professional and kind, wait times weren't bad, pay rates were good. I wish I could be a regular plasma donor here and I would totally come back, except I felt faint for 15 or 20 minutes right after the donation, so I found out that donating plasma doesn't work out well for me.

First time attending today and everyone was so nice and moved so fast, it was Great!

Donating is important and the staff are excellent. But there was a promotional incentive for the month in February which included a $30 bonus for your 2nd donation in a week. I donated on February 3rd and February 6th with no bonus. And again on February 10th and February 13 and no bonus. A little disappointed in a promotional bonus that was never delivered.

Experience: Staff is easy-going which helps if you have any needle anxiety. The staff that is clean, caring, and efficient. I genuinely enjoy going in to donate. Went in one day and explained to the nurse hypersensitive skin and the turned me away and said I needed a doctors note, just a doctors note. I have my doctors not saying it's fine for me to give plasma and wouldn't you know she needs an actual diagnosis which I explained was just hypersensitive skin. We were turned away because they said we lived too far away. Nowhere on their website does it state that you need to live within a certain radius of the donation center. So, please don't waste your time going unless you are sure that you are eligible to donate at this center. WHAT A WASTE OF TIME!!
