I'm a first timer donating plasma, so I was a little nervous. From the moment I walked in the door, a you lady (Meghan) guided me through the entire process step by step. She was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, answering all my question and concerns. When realized I hadn't eating anything, she gave some lasagna, crackers and Gatorade. The only experiences I have had were horrible. The one time I went into the office I waited for 20 minutes without having a single staff member acknowledge me. Finally I got frustrated and left. Waited months before I tried again but this time I called. I have called at every time possible, opening and any time that day until closing. I did this for 2 days, not one time did anyone pick up the phone. Are they understaffed, underpaid or just hiring people who don't care about the person in front of them or on

this place hasn't had soap in the restroom this whole week I have came here. That's pathetic In a place such as this. I've very little complaints against the place other than no one using the restroom can properly practice safe hygiene. Like I said though other than that I have no complaints

Most of the staff at this location is great. There is one who has attitude with donors but not over anything serious, just the way she talks is kind of demeaning. Here lately though, the final return and saline process is taking as long if not longer than the full donation process. Todays donation, i had reached 100% in 25 minutes. This is the most unprofessional plasma center I have ever been to , Although the techs can be nice , They would rather stand around talking . I have seen many instances of double sticks, many instances of needle adjustments , which hurt the donor . Try to call this clinic for a question , they do not answer the phone . RIDICULOUS. I will not be going back to donate at this location . If your smart and believe in saving lives , go elsewhere .

Everything was great with this place for me until the last 3 donations. Been donating since November. The first donation that went wrong the tech didn't get a flash, was very new, and she started digging the needle in my arm, way down into the muscles it felt like. Finally, after a minute or two asked for help. They finally got it, only for me to start no flowing. Had to restick to give me my blood back or told me I would be deferred for 56 days. Went back for my second donation, that one was alright. New

Please do not let one bad stick stop you from giving the place a chance to show you their are really good people who work here. I too have had a really great experience with donating myself here. So many of the workers do really care about your well being and just want you to feel welcome. I wish nothing but the best for this place. It was a honor to be apart of such a great team. I've been going here for most of this year and I am a regular donar. Love the people working and the process is quick. Bailey is amazing and always cheerful and professional. Honestly, if I wasn't so bad with names, I could commend at least 5 employees with their great attitude and work ethic. The machines are nice and they tell you the percentage you're up to. I am a new donor i have been waiting for over 40 minutes the nurse has only been possessing old donors when I asked if there is anything I need to do the said they only have one person even though they just possessed over 10 people

Great place to donate, excellent staff, that gets you in and out. Way better than CSL, in my opinion. A more professional phlebotomy team. They don't got to dig in your veins to draw the plasma. One stick and it's done!!!!!!! Go seethe wonderful staff, save a life or two, and make a extra $120 a week. Not a bad way to spend an hour..???????

I have been donating with Grifols in Dothan for over 2 years and it is so rewarding knowing you're making a difference in others lives. The staff is Absolutely Amazing, everyone is always so nice and personable to talk with and ask questions if you have any. And of course it's nice getting paid for donating as well. Just completed my third donation. Every time I've been it's been quick and very professional. Staff has been great! Today I had Meghin and she was sooo attentive and wonderful!

Knowing from experience it's sometimes tough working in the healthcare field, but every time I come in here nothing but smiles and laughter coming from the employees. That makes donating easier and more comfortable for a lot of people. Yall are awesome keep doing what yall are doing!!!!

I'm Like anyone who don't Iike needles but needs some extra funds in this crazy world! Griffols helped with that thankfully in a tight min. The staff is very kind every one there wants to make sure you are comfortable and taken care of! I hate needles but they made me smile. The worst past is the finger prick honestly and then getting the needle in your arm and if your like me it's a little hard cause my veins don't like to come out and play. ??! So first, I couldn't schedule my next appointment because some boy apparently took issue with me removing my cuff after the machine had finished and shut off. He was apparently so incensed by this that he complained to his management that I needed "counseling" not to do this again, and so I had to wait 20mins to have to speak to the manager just for this asinine detail, which effortlessly could have been relegated to any regular tech, been added as a side note while I was getting checked in, or could have b

The process is quick, efficient and the staff is very helpful. The facility is spacious and clean and- on another note- full of eye candy. Quay & Megan always bring good vibes( along with everyone else). I'd recommend Grifolds over CSL any day.

The debt card doesn't even work properly I tried to add the money to my cash app it said I didn't have enough money in the card so I called and apparently I lost $6 out of the remaining $18 I had definitely not worth it they don't give you the full amount either I was supposed to get 40 and they only gave me 38 cause I call the number on the back of my card and find out my balance and it's always short a couple dollars so there not giving the full amount plus they might be stealing back money.

It took so long to get to the donation floor. Then twice as long to get out as it normally should. I missed appointments and the opportunity to cash my check because I remained attached to an iv that staff wouldnt remove even after I informed them that remaining in that position for over an hr was causing me pain . It took 2hrs from me and caused arm pain that I will definitely feel while I work tomorrow. There has got to be a better way or place to get paid for plasma donation

Donors do not get to choose who inserts a needle into your body. You are technically "guinea pigs" for employees who want to be a Tech. Personally I have seen techs stick people, not get it right and walk off the floor with a needle sticking out of a donors arm. Another time three patients in a row had problems with the same tech yet they let her "keep trying". Perhaps you will get lucky and get an experiences tech. There is a "click". You can tell cause they act as if they are still in high schoo

Donated here for while in 2018 or so stop coming just recently went under new owners they said n had to get letter from doc because of high BP so got the letter and their doc said ok clear to donate..make appointment get there n what do ya know still can't donate so wats was me getting the letter for if you clear me then say I can't donate... complete waste of time...

The worker's are loud, ghetto and very unprofessional!!! Came in and gave on today and the lady in the first booth was very loud and no training on using her ( inside voice)!!! The times are longer, if they spent more time on teamwork and less time talking about each for everyone in there to hear, things would be a lot smoother!! But from aside from that the staff in the back of the house are very friendly!!!

I love our local Grifols. Everyone has always been so nice. The place is always clean and tidy. However, the new donor bonuses don't make sense. Wouldn't it be better to reward your returning donors more, for being loyal and continuing to donate? The bonuses for new donors are much greater than those who return. I understand trying to get more people in the door, but I see people who begin to donate and then stop when the new donor bonuses end.

The wait times right now are horrible. I went from a total time of little over an hour to my longest time there now at 3 plus hours the other night. They desperately need more employees on the floor. First visit: Clean facility, comfortable environment, educated staff. Everyone I interacted with was polite, professional, and personable. Sign up was easy, I had to get a waiver signed for my recent tattoo, but was barely an inconvenience. Exam and donation process was smooth. I got a little dizzy towards the end of the blood draw, but nurses were ready to assist and were able to help me get to the end of the process.

I am owed a referral which I had 4 people from the office tell me I would still get it.. He first donated August 29 2022 and his second donation was October 23 2022. I was told since he started in August I would still get the referral pay and 4 people told me that last week and then 1 said I would get it yesterday, which I still haven't gotten. I have been a donor for over a year now. I love the people. There very pleasant. It took the longest I have ever done. Didn't understand. Didn't get any answers. Unhappy with my visit today. 8 people left before me. Almost 2 hrs to donate. Really? First I was impressed with lady who hooked me up, but she laugh and was counting people left so she could go home. Broke my spirits.

Grifols has been great to me. I get in and out in less than an hour. The staff r very friendly and out going. They explain each procedure so ur not questioning anything they r doing. Plus the extra cash helps a lot! I am white and have had no racial problems. Maybe those two white people were not doing what they were supposed to do!

The people at Grifols are so welcoming! They treat all clients equally. Every time I go, I do not have to wait that long. When you first go be aware that it will take at least 2 hours for the whole process, but the second time will be about 30 minutes depending on how many people are there. My experience was EXTREMELY HORRIBLE???? I came as a new donor on a Thursday. I was told I had to go eat again since it had been a few hours since I had ate. Same visit, was told I wasn't hydrated enough from the vein assessment. I have very small, deep veins that roll, so it takes time to find it. The nurse checked it too quick. I was drinking plenty of water & ate as I was supposed to. I went back on a Saturday. I went through the whole process of registration just to be told I was over the weight limit f

Grifols in Dothan is a great place to make some extra money. The staff are incredibly professional and efficient. Everyone is friendly and they make coming here an enjoyable experience. This place is very busy on Fridays and Mondays, so be prepared for that if you choose one of those two days.

Be aware of discrimination issues if showing your military ID instead of your social security card: On my first visit they gave me a binder of their policy and on the first page of the first paragraph on the third line it states that an alternative to showing your social security card you may show a military ID, passport, and several other documents in lieu of a social security card. I did not have my social security card; just a picture. However, I did have my driver's license and my military ID. Even th

I looked up this business the first day and drove 45 miles one way to get there only to find out no nurse on duty. I have spent over an hour each following day for someone to answer phone calls only to say no nurse on duty. Don't waste your time with this business. CSL plasma in Dothan Alabama a much better choice!

This center is phenomenal. I have been donating here for almost 3 months and I am always greeted with a smile. Ms. Charlie and Ms. Toya as well as MiKayla are truly the sweetest. They're very efficient and confident with their task which makes myself as a donor feel more comfortable in what is known as a "nervous" or "uncomfortable" situation as is.

We got there at 6:59 after getting off of work, we understand they close at 7 but the doors were already locked, they have wasted our time and gas. We were told they would accept people UNTIL 7pm, and yet the door was locked before then.

I hate the customer service here..the techs talk about donors after the screening process , talk amongst each other about non work related topics. The only professional one is Shaina.. don't let Bri stick you she always hurts u and isn't knowledgeable about procedures . manager needs to do a better job with hiring process or training..or hold the accountable for their non professionalism.

The place is very unprofessional, I been there plenty of times. You got people shooting the bull, on the phone, totally ignoring you. I got a VIP which means I supposed to be in front and I'm still waiting. I have not been to the back of the room at all. They claim to have problem with getting my blood pressure.. Hospitals get it at the bottom of my are and it still come out ok. I don't know what makes them so different.

I always come here because I like the fact that I can donate plasma that saves lives and make some extra Christmas cash in the process. But the staff drops the ball too much. No one communicates and half of the staff is incompetent. I had a staff member leave to go get more mask after being rescheduled twice in the same day and I was left standing there ALREADY WEARING MY MASK. Multiple times I have been told to wait after having an appointment or a staff member put my appointment in the wrong time slot. W

I was highly disappointed. I've heard great things about this facility, but when I go to become a new donors, I'm told they're not taking new donors. I went last Friday and got there at 4:15 PM, I'm then told by a really sweet lady that they stopped taking new donors at 4 PM and they closed at 6 PM. So today, Tuesday they close at 7 PM, I get there at 3 PM. This is 4 hours before they close. There were 2 ladies standing over by what looked like exam areas or offices, and they were just laughing and talking.

Extremely friendlyh and competent staff. They make you feel comfortable and get you through as quickly as possible. A1 place and a great way to help find new cures orf medicine for those in need. I just referred two of my friends Jeffery Thames and Christine Jones to go.....
