Don't go here. I recently visited to donate plasma for the second time, and this was a frustrating experience from the start. When I arrived, the staff at the counter were too busy gossiping among themselves while people, including myself, were waiting. It felt very unprofessional and made me feel like I wasn't being treated with the respect I deserved. Things didn't get better once I was seated. The medical professional who started the procedure seemed inexperienced, as they inserted the needle but kept
I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Monica and the exceptional service she provides at the Donation Center. Every time I come in, she greets me with warmth, kindness, and a genuine willingness to help. Monica goes above and beyond to ensure that my experience is not just smooth, but also pleasant and personal. Her dedication to supporting the community is evident in everything she does. Whether she's assisting with donations or offering helpful guidance, Monica always takes the extra step to make
I switched to this location from the other location in the valley and I am very satisfied. All the staff have been super friendly and professional and I really feel at home here. Christie is super friendly, skilled and just really brings a beautiful energy to the location, she is my favorite! Syed is also skilled at poking so with both of them there have been no issues or pain. Really enjoy my donations. Thanks guys! :)
Extremely rude and slow workers, they've stuck me 49 times total according to the app and 30 of them they've fished for veins which is both incredibly dangerous and against their own inhouse training. Place is usually empty but you will spend 2hrs here every time no matter what. Payments are on average 40% less than any competing center in the valley.
Love this place they are so friendly and kind Martha is my favorite she has such an easy hand I never feel the poke Martha is such an amazing person ????. Come on down a be part on saving life?s.
I was there earlier this morning for my first donation and I mistakenly kept pumping during the return phase and that kind of messed everything up. I felt really hot and light headed but I wasn't aware of that being wrong. The technician (Moni?) I can't remember her name identified something was wrong and quickly helped me and was able to bring everything to normal levels.
The phlebotomists here are not good, i went on Monday of this week and they had someone train on me, that's fine but when they couldn't find my vein the trainer took over and practically gouged my arm trying to find my vein and severely bruising me in the process, it's healed for the most part now but apparently not enough for them to bar me from being able to donate for the foreseeable future and I essentially get kicked out being told tough luck that I got the worst phlebotomist there. I get no real apolo
I've been donating here for a couple of years & it's always very clean, very professional & comfortable. Sayed is my favorite on staff!
Every time I come to this donation center Martha is literally one of the best ladies in the building. She always takes her time and makes sure That you are comfortable when she is sticking you with the needle. And there's never any pain. I don't know how she does it, but I'm always thankful to get her to assist me when I come donate.Because it's always a great pleasure.????????????????????
I have had a great experience there. Monica is very nice and great at her job. Get you in and out. I really enjoy going there.
Probably the worst place to donate. Now the phlebotomist do a great job, on the other hand, the front desk, or where you check in, is the reason for this one star. They work slow, they take too many breaks and at times cop an attitude when you actually arrive early to your appointment, just to wait another hour to get your blood checked, wait in the waiting room, and get your blood drawn and patched. By then, you've been in this clinic for 3 or more hours, for something that on average, takes an hour to d
I will not be going there anymore, I had very bad experience they really hurt my veins they did it several times and cause me brusing and pain it lasted for 3 weeks
Monica is one of the best nurses at grifols Reseda and she's been here for awhile. Always with a great attitude and answers anything u need.
I've just always had the best experience here every single time without fail. From the moment you walk in the energy of the staff and the air conditioning blasting you in the face, the vibe is immaculate. So is the floor. Not a speck of dust. You can tell hygiene is their top priority. With the app, they make the check in process and screening a breeze. A personal record of mine was 15 min from the door to chair, hooked up. Everyone here is great, to name a few: Mona-super funny, Martha so friendly, Ivana-v
Staff is friendly and facility is well maintained. Issue I have is that they did not give a ?new donor? payment and failed to tell me they no longer give that promotion if you've ever been here before. For the past years, if you don't come back within 6 months, they have to reprocess you and you would be able to receive that promotion again. Normally I wouldn't complain, but the normal rates aren't enough based on the travel it takes me to get here. If this change is from ?corporate?, it needs to be posted
They discriminated against me because I told them my girls were in the car and we slept in it and told me that I couldn't donate because the address I used was a social services address (he literally went and googled it) EVEN though I donated the day before yesterday! I am a victim of domestic violence and that is discrimination. Period. These people are heartless. Whatever you do, don't tell them you slept in your car last night! They will kick you straight out. The devil is a liar.
Don't go here. They never answer the phone even if they just opened.Went on a Sunday for 4pm appointment wasn't in a chair until 530 and it took 20 min to pull me after I completed.I was paid $40 and the the 2nd donation still only $40. If you can go literally anywhere else I would. Tired to call to see if it was mistake but surprise surprise no one answers the phone. Staff is fine but understaffed. Waiting to see if they call me back but never have in the past. I asked if I'd make more the 2nd time as it's
"It's a good place to donate. The number of staff is usually consistent. They brought in new and larger machines about a year ago, making it easier for you to get in and out, and improving the quality of the plasma. The management and oversight of the staff typically involve the same familiar faces, which is a positive aspect."
I been having the great experience at Grifols. The staff is great especially my favorite phlebotomist Erni. He is kind and curtious and pleasant. Grifols care about their patient. I recommend for everyone to come and donate, it for a good cause.
Monica has been my regular person to stick me for years. The other week I was in a scheduling crunch and she graciously was able to help me out so I didnt disrupt the days I donate. Monica in the office and Monica on the floor both made life that week stress free for me. They are like all the others there?I could name their names but you get the point. All of them, and the facilty, are the reason I have been donating here since late 2017 even though there are other sites closer.
Donating plasma was a smooth and rewarding experience. The process is generally well-organized, with friendly staff guiding you through each step. After a brief screening to check eligibility (questions about health, lifestyle, etc.), the donation begins, which usually takes around 1-2 hours. During the donation, blood is drawn, the plasma is separated, and the remaining components are returned to the body. I found the procedure painless, aside from a slight pinch when the needle is inserted. Hydration and
Good place! Staff is very friendly and they know how to poke a needle through! My favorite person is Ezekiel (the color hair guy). I always come twice a week! I wish they had more bonus but I'm still happy and come twice a week
Friendly staff and very knowledgeable on my first visit. Also very quick with assisting me.
Staff are super friendly and the place is very clean. Christie is one of my favorite staff never has hurt me when sticking me. Plus super nice and very attentive shout out to the staff here just wanted to highlight Christie and her hard work! Thank you. Probably one of the reasons why I continue to donate here !
It's a good clean place where they treat you great like berenice,Rosita,Coneche,Christi,David,Suzy,Ema and others etc. except one person bad customer service celia...
People deserve to get paid more you're putting your life on the line
I have been coming here for over a year and love the staff! Shanee is the best! She handles everyone carefully, answers all my questions, and is a true professional.
I've been donating here for almost a year now. All staff has always been friendly and professional. Even when they are busy they keep their cool and get things done. Payment is awesome and always goes into my account right away. I haven't had any interaction with management so I can't say much about that. The facility itself is always in pretty good condition. Bathrooms are clean.
My husband and I scheduled appointments. Got to the location and was told they aren't doing any more people. They didn't call or email to cancel our appointments, just turned us away after we'd already driven there during rush hour. I don't recommend
I had been a donor at this location since 2012. I believe that one of their staff overheard me on the phone during one visit, didn't like what I was saying apparently, and the next thing I know I was being accused of threatening a staff member with gun violence. First of all, that is a felony. Secondly, I did nothing of the kind. Hence the reason, there is no police report. Some new employee doesn't like my politics and I'm permanently deferred. Not the way I'm used to being treated here in the good ol' US
Been coming here for years never had a problem great place to Donate.
I've been donating plasma for years and by far the Grifols on Vanowen is the most professional and hospitable place I've been to yet. The staff know their stuff. My comfort is always a priority. Most importantly, the staff are easy to build rapport with. I can't recommend Grifols enough! Mike and Ernie run a tight ship!
Staff is very consistent and professional. They do their best to make sure you are informed about everything. The donation process is very efficient.
I was thoroughly appalled by the actions of the staff at this establishment. As a patient, I expect to be treated with respect and care and to be in an environment that is both clean and safe. Sadly, none of these expectations were met during my visit. The staff showed an utter disregard for both patients and their property namely, their vehicles. In one instance, I overheard a patient say he had his scooter stolen within the premises and was given no assistance whatsoever by the staff. Instead, the staff t
Walked out twice. I was in in lobby of people for 2 hours. Asked why they make appointments, if they are NOT going to be kept. Answer: We can't alter appointments. THEN WHY MAKE THEM????? How about posting something saying we are behind or moving our appointments. Something. Having us to come in to sit in the lobby for 2 hours just to get into the doors to wait under 1/2 hour just to get to a chair. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Not professional at all. On top of it, people were so mad and upset by the time they mad
Very clean facility, friendly and professional staff. Enjoy my donation every time.
Fun ,friendly ,fast ,efficient ,clean ,organized and easy to find No place I'd rather go to donate Hands down
This facility has amazing staff members that are friendly and timely. Though sometimes they can be swamped with a lot of people, they will always do there best to get you in and out safely and healthy. As well as offering a movie to watch while you wait. I cannot recommend this place any more. My fastest I've been in and out was around an hour and the slowest would probably be around 2 hours. However for the lives you and they save everyday and a little compensation for yourself, it's totally worth it.
Been donating here now for well over 2 years. Have never had any problems and always enjoy seeing a few of my favorite staff members. Shout out to MARTHA who's been my day one favorite! Has never poked me wrong, and is always a great conversation.
Second time and they are very nice people ? will recommend & keep coming back
Everyone at this center is super friendly and willing to answer any questions you might have about donating. I've donated for almost 6 months and everything runs smoothly everytime I'm able to donate.
It's not worth going there I think people should get a lot more they make thousands
The people here are always super friendly and helpful. They make sure everything is going smoothly and are always chatty, and building relationships with the clientele. The facility is large, clean, and always in good order. I've been coming for four months and always appreciate Moni. She's the best!
Terrible experience. I booked an appointment and drove a long way, only to find out they wouldn't honor it?no notice or explanation. Completely unprofessional and a huge waste of time. I won't be returning.
This is a great center the staff is so kind and friendly they treat everyone with respect they make everything so much easier and welcoming
Very unpleasant experience from the start, extremely understaffed and unprofessional , if you Decide to go DO NOT ALLOW HECTOR TO assist youn hes young and unqualified , fisry time sticking me he did terrible job management had to come back to assist
My first time I was nervous but they made me feel safe , second time here I feel comfortable
Customer service here is great. All phlebotomists are trained well, and the patient experience is consistent. It is a pleasant atmosphere and it's easy to determine that everyone cares. The payment for plaza while at times doesn't seem like much it truly adds up! And they give bonuses and sometimes have contest for people to win various items like tvs, scooters, etc.
Ernie doesn't get the recognition that he deserves! Such an honest hard worker who goes above and beyond. The staff and nurses as well get a shout out as everyone is so friendly and welcoming!! Definitely recommend coming to this location.
Everyone that works here is great!Everything was fast and easy .
Transfer from one Grifols center to another took 3+ hours, they made a mistake and had to start me from the beginning 1.5 hour in the process. Octapharma Plasma up the road has no appointments and runs circles around Grifols You know you're getting good service when you're getting in and out in 2 hours or less, you just don't get that with Grifols over the last year
I've been donating here several times a month for about six months or so and it's always such a great experience! The staff is friendly and the process is really quick and efficient. The compensation is great and they have a lot of promotions pretty often for bonuses! I highly recommend Rosa and Chris and the whole team over there! .
The staff is really nice and friendly it's always a good experience. Money deposits same day and they have 50$ incentives which are nice. If you have your method of communication set to text they send the deals right to your phone .
This rating is not pertaining to the center it's self. The staff is Amazing I have been coming to this center for almost 2 decades. When it was KED PLASMA! Now Grifols payments to it's donors have decreased significantly!! SHAME ON CORPORATE!! They only give you $40 on first donation and $70 on second one. Do your research on how much Plasma or PRP sells for! Now they want to increase New donors payments next month! How many people who got ripped off these past months with only $75 for first 2 donations!! C
Place is clean, staff is nice and gentle. Only problem is, they never answer their phone and somehow always mess up on my incentive. Example: for new donors, they would give me the incentive as a return donor AND usually always forget to add my bonus offers ?????
Upon my first visit to this clinic, I fell victim of theft. My Electric Scooter was stolen from the bike rack located in the clinics parking lot, even though I had it chained up. Upon coming to this realization I hurried back inside to be met by a nurse who was apathetic but didn't take down details for a proper incident report and I never even got to speak with a manager before being asked to leave out the side. I'm infuriated and working with the owner of said scooter to file a police report and contact
This place is such an amazing place to come save lives! Moni is the best of the best ! I go in and out every time! The money always goes for good use and I usually always finish within 40-45 mins max. Chill spot, def recommend !
Ive been coming to Grifols In Reseda for quite few months, the staff is very friendly and resourceful to all patients need. Ernie does exceptional work when connect the machines and needle in my donating arm. He has great team management skills to run the facility floor. Overall the employees are superb, equipment up date and very knowledgeable
There are many places to choose from but the reason we come here is for the friendly and professional staff- they are attentive, courteous, and efficient. Facility state of the art with modern equipment very clean with multiple big screen TVs for viewing. They offer many bonuses and incentives also. I saw mentioned to the following employees- Rosa, Coneche (CC), Monica,Christie, Martha, Chris, Andrew, Gloria and Ernie. My apologies if I left out any names. On our behalf we want to thank you for all you do.
Very friendly staff, clean, good experience.
Management is non-existent. Always under staffed. Super dangerous place because donors are left unattended because of the lack of staff. Today, I saw a needle come out of a guy, and no staff was around because they were short staffed like always. He had to start yelling for help. There was blood everywhere. These poor employees are overworked and deserve better. When asked about managment they said they don't work weekends which are theyre busiest days.
Always greeted with a smile. Staff members are always upbeat. The whole process from start to finish usually takes no longer than an hour and a half. A good experience every time. Thanks Grifols Reseda! ??
Andrew is the absolute best! Would totally recommend! Andrew is the absolute sweetest and most caring phlebotomist I've had! ?? Love ya Andrew!
Ernie is the man right here! The whole staff are vibes and they do there job efficiently and fast! Very clean place and well managed! Melissa was the best ,check out grifols!!
This location is the Best! They're friendly, the place is super clean and organized, and they've got the fastest pokers in town (with a needle that is!) Nearly painless. Just do it and it's good for the people in need best of all?
The staff and personnel are so caring and accommodating! I've worked in healthcare for years and i know how difficult it can be working with diverse clientele that can be unpredictable at times... These staff members are all so kind and patient and engaging, I never felt like I was being treated like a barcode on a bottle or some degenerate looking for easy cash. I am proud to be of service at an facility that values its donors. Thank you Grifols team!!
Very friendly staff always makes me feel safe and laugh. Ernie and Andrew always go above and beyond to make sure things are running smoothly and do their best to help if something goes wrong. Thank you for allowing us to donate for a great purpose
Everyone of the staff is great esp Monica. She's very nice and friendly and very professional. I'm treated with respect and kindness every time. The facility is always very clean. Great job everyone!
I was a donor here for about a year. For a large part, I donated successfully and made some good money. With that being said, I have to give this facility one star and the fault lies with some (but not all) staff and the center management. There is no clear communication between donors and staff. They just expect you to know everything about the process and they don't bother to help clarify until you've already driven through some of the worst LA traffic. For example, every 4 months you are required to prov
7:30 am 12/13/23only one phlebotomist on the floor now. the other lady phlebotomist decided to take a break 1.5 hours into her shift. the 2 lady screeners in front are gossiping away. one of them can be helping the young man on the floor with poking people but she chose to gossip. i used to be out within 45-1hr but now it takes 2-3hrs because this location is ALWAYS SHORT STAFFED. ITS RIDICULOUS!! the staff doesn't give a damn, they're getting paid by the hour. we get peasant pay.
I am very disappointed. A few years back, I was sitting inside a Grifols waiting. There was a man in the waiting room being obnoxious and slapping his hands and slapping his legs making a big commotion, and while he was doing it, he was sitting there, staring at me. It made me extremely uncomfortable. Even one of the women that worked there and noticed him and said something to him like why are you doing that. He said nothing in response. Making me a very very uncomfortable. Eventually I asked him to stop
The staff is very skillful, polite, and hard working. The machines are clean and the pay is on a very generous scale. Eveyone is so professional and nice. Ive been a donor for years now. You can book ahead online and receive a confirmation email.
I've been going to the location in Lancaster,CA for about two years. In the beginning everything was great. Somewhere along the way, a situation occurred, that I felt was misconstrued and blown out of proportion. Afterwards, I wasn't sure if I would continue services with them. I no longer felt comfortable! If it weren't for one of the managers named David, and two employees, a nurse named Melinda and a supervisor named Karla. Understanding the struggle they deal with in this line of work, helped me underst
I highly recommend this plasma center everyone is friendly and professional. and the most important is extremely clean. thanks to all the phlebotomists for your awesome job.
Been going here for a couple months now, and it's a fabulous location! It's the first place I've donated plasma and I'm grateful they keep it clean and orderly as possible. The staff is incredibly kind, professional, and efficient. They got some good deals too!
8/23/2023 Came in for my 9:15am appointment at 9am and had no issues with the screening process but waited in a bed for over an hour to be hooked up. I left as there we five others waiting in beds to also be hooked up, 5 or more in the waiting area on the floor and even more people in the screening area waiting to come in. There was only 2 staff members sticking people and two staff members in the lobby accepting people. This is clearly a management issue of not staffing properly and not utilizing the appo
Been donating for over two years and close to 50 donations, this place is great with great staff. Melissa treated me with kindness and respect. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Honestly, the staff is amazing!
I used to donate here and I took a break while I was away at school and when i came back to donate again I was a new donor which was fine. However the guy who did my initial exam was accusing me of lying about when I had gotten my piercings. As i tried to explain to him when I got them he said I was lying and then told me I was banned from donating???? So frustrating. I have referred a handful of people here and was close with all the staff. I would love to come back and donate!!So frustrating!!
The staff is great (most apparently). Whoever answered the phone when I called to try to make an appointment was really rude and out of it. I called and I get silence for 3 seconds then a "WHAT?! " Then I asked if I was calling the right place. Then he said "I guess". I immediately hung up. I'm pretty sure it was one of the security. Who have no point in answering the phone. They have no idea how to talk to people. And with an attitude like that... They should not be working there at all.
It's always a wonderful experience. There is no line. Booked ahead of time and walk quickly in and out. Smooth experience with hospitable staff who truly care about your well being. Christy and Coneche fit the bill for being attentive, caring and hard working. Big shout out
I have been donating for a few years now. Today I had really bad customer service. I went in like normal but after I got the needle everything went wrong. It didn't work. They kept blaming the needle work and wanting to keep "readjusting". Which they did & even a redo on the needlework taking it out and back in. After a few attempts I started to notice that the machine was not working as normal. No matter what they did, it never Registered my pumps (staying in red and shutting down over and over) I also no
This place is great and the staff are very helpful and respectful especially Monica and coneche. These two ladies are the best and very hard working. They are very Outgoing and always in good spirits. When I come and give a donation these two ladies always take good care of me. Monica and Coneche are the best!
Editing my review from 5 to 1 stars id give zero if possible. This place is severely understaffed they need to pay their workers better so they can retain them. Everytime I come in now it takes a minimum of two hours and there is always someone new that doesn't know what they're doing. They lowered their pay rate 3 times since I've started too. The phlebotomists that have been here for awhile are great but the management needs to do a better job. They also used to send out bonus texts for an extra $20 or so
LOVED!!!!!!!! This place and this site in particular is/was GREAT!!!! Michael is a good natured, kind, hard working individual.KUDOS!!! I have/had been coming here off and on for a few years now. The place is in great shape, very clean and organized. Nicely arranged, flat screen televisions for entertainment, Wi-Fi, plugs, vending machines, everything for our convenience. Donating plasma is a great way to make some extra money and save/help another life at the same time. Once you're able to get through the
Great place to donate plasma! The staff is incredible! Especially Chris! They made it super easy and I was so comfortable the whole time. The facility is high tech and as clean as it could possibly be. 10/10 would recommend!
Professional and such genuine service the whole staff is welcoming and highly skilled in their line of work
This place was decent when I started coming in back in July. Since that time the wait times have gotten longer (even though they are strictly appointment based now). My last donation a week and a half ago took over three hours. Also the attitude of the employees has gone down hill. People I remember smiling and joking now have bitter expressions and sour dispositions. If you ask questions they will lie to you or say "I don't know" to avoid having to interact with you besides shuttling you through the chute
This is a great donation center. Excellent team of phlebotomists, well managed, very clean & so many nice people on the staff. The BEST in Los Angeles by far! They are attentive, knowledgeable & responsive. Highly recommended!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
