Grifols Plasma Donation Center Surprise, AZ

This place?my initial review still stands. My concerns about the blood pressure machines were addressed with staff in person and I was told by an employee ?ya, it happens a lot because we don't calibrate them very often but, corporate doesn't want to spend the money to replace them?. Thanks for the transparency but, that doesn't resolve the issue. I was deferred until I obtained a letter from my PCP verifying that I was safe to donate and that they found no issues with my heart. Be warned. They changed the bowls and decided to not upgrade the filter in the process so now your saline cycle will take forever and they're not doing anything about it. They would rather have the donor wait and have longer waiting times than to get them in and out so they can keep their numbers better and a better flow going. Clearly the person who made the choice of upgrading the bowl didn't take the filter into account.

Third time donating was Sunday 5/18, machines went offline during my visit sp I sat twiddling my thumbs in the back for an hour before they told everyone Machines aren't working and we can get on a list for compensation from corporate if approved and either wait or come back later. I waited an hour and the machines went down a sec9nd time I drove to and from, which is a far drive, twice to keep being told the machines were down. I started out loving the center and it's gradually declined. The process time has become so long. Takes more time getting hooked and unhooked than anything. It use to be an 1.15 minutes now it's well over two hours. I've attempted to donate three times this week. I've drove 30 minutes to the center to be turned away from low iron. Understandable but no compensation just a waste in gas. It's time to look at a center closer to home which is disappointing.

This place takes too long. The whole process just sucks. Other places I'm in and out. They updated their "bowls" to make the process "faster" but neglected to update the rest up the machine so the filter gets CLOGGED and instead of the saline at the end taking less than 5 minutes it NOW takes 30+ min! One of the best places to go if you want to donate plasma. Visits are by appointment only, which may seem inconvenient but is actually great because it makes the whole process go so much smoother. You use their app to set the appointment and there is even a link to do the questionnaire that all plasma places require you do before donating. I would give negative stars if I could. My veins are like ropes, barely even need a tourniquet, yet they still managed to do this to my arm! They were rude too. Just an awful experience all together.

Staff is nice and the clinic itself is clean and well maintained . They advertise $100 for the first 4 donations but I wasn't aware they all had to be done within the first 30 days of enrollment so please beware! I was very surprised when I received only $40 on my 3rd ?donation?.They infiltrated my veins on 2 of the visits so technically I only donated 1x. Got there at 12:30 was there until about 2:30ish almost 3. Staff was very helpful, friendly, and informative! Got my $75 and setting up the paycard was easy too :) definitely coming back again

Staff's super cool for the most part, just dont say anything about smoking the night before or having a medical card because its not cool with the managers. Which is funny cause most of the staffs usually high, but they do there jobs well.

My experience was very unpleasant. It was my first time donating and I was naturally kind of nervous. The staff in the front were very nice, helpful, and professional. Then I get to the back: WHERE DO I BEGIN?? I have PTSD it's in my chart if they would take the time to read it maybe they would have been more human or kind. (Daniel, white guy with shaggy brown hair) wants me to sit in a seat that I was not comfortable with because I AM CLAUSTROPHOBIC which I stated. So I requested to sit somewhere else.

Grifols does not care about patient rights..I stated I wanted a different station for checking my vitals and the staff did not oblige nor care. The lack of professionalism and lack of patient decision shows that Grifols may lack in other areas.

I had my first visit here at Grifols today. This facility just opened and the experience I had was one that makes me eager to return. The staff took time to explain the process and keep me informed about what was going to happen next. Great customer service and they truly care about how you are doing throughout the whole process. Highly recommended.

This place is a great place to go to save peoples lives plus they give you back something in return. If these folks that are sick and have issues with their health didn't receive something from our body they would die. We need more people in this world that would like to make a change. I was a first time donor a few weeks ago and the staff here really did an AMAZING job making me feel comfortable. Edith, Isaiah, Daniel all helped me throughout the process. Everything was explained to me prior to getting my plasma, and the whole atmosphere is clean. I am looking forward to my next visit with them. If you're thinking about donating plasma here, do not hesitate! They're such an amazing staff who will make you feel welcomed and comfortable.

I have become addicted to donating and coming to this place. It so nice being able to help people and earn money. I personally go see Isiah only because he never bruises me and gets the perfect poke every time!

I'm not happy with trying to update my address. Grifols needs to know that the postal service doesn't deliver to individual houses on the reservation and that it's only delivered to the Post office. We live on Federal land. I don't know if they can't put the physical address on the post office mail.

I Xfered here from the northern location and it's great! I've never gone through the door and in the chair so fast. Daniel is pretty cool. Makes it laid back with good conversation but very professional when it comes to his work!.

This place is great! Always clean and the staff are very friendly. Things are picking up but they still get you in and out. Highly recommend!

I do not understand why this place has a 4.6 star review they pay you 75$ for your first visit like that's a deal they sell your plasma per person for over 2000$ stop empowering tyrants like this at least CSL PLASMA pays a lil more but they are the same type of tyrants. Love the center and the staff is mostly good. I had some bruising issues due to being stuck wrong and vital issues due to being screened as soon as I walked in the door, my HR didn't have a chance to settle. My main issue tho, is the payment. They have gone down in February and March and it's a bit disheartening because it's no longer worth it to go considering the long drive and time spent along with the physical discomfort. Hopefully they raise the fees again soon.

The staff here js pretty great. (Michelle was so nice and helped me through the process. The wait times are very reasonable, its a new buildjng so its very clean, the bonuses are good. All in all. Definitley would recommend! Ive Never had a problem here. ????????????

People here are amazing! The phlebotomist know what they're doing. The people in front are very friendly and always have a smile when you walk in. Very organized with scheduling and very professional.

Isaiah was amazing at phlebotomy part and didn't feel a thing , always have issues with my small veines no issues with him and very nice, Jasmine at front was also amazing did all my check in and exams and so sweet , everyone here was so nice! Will be back thanks guys!! ??

No one is perfect, but Grifols is a great choice if you want to donate plasma. They've always treated me well & done their best to make the experience as painless as possible. I've been donating with them for years, and the experience at this new location is consistent with my past experience (great).

Amazing!!! I have been to three other kinds of plasma donation centers, and this one is by far the most incredible. Not only is the entire staff quick and efficient, friendly and helpful but it is a very clean and well run facility. They're very sufficient and it's a very quick process, and the payouts are very well done.!!!

First timer? Asthma? Tattoo less than a year old? Don't waste your time! I believe tattoos and asthma are common and I thought I'd save some people a boat load of time. This location gives you high blood pressure, they can't get anything right the first time. Been there 5 times and was only allowed to to donate once. They can't do the physicals right the first time or anything else. Never had an issue at the location off camelback, but this location, won't be going back to it, just a waste of time

Best experience I've had at a donation center! The staff is experienced, careful, and kind, and their atmosphere is light-hearted and fun. Been there 20+ times now and I've never once had a problem.

Turned me away because my blood pressure was a little high instead of just immediately testing me again she wanted me to wait 15 mins plus the hour your going to spend donating. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Great staff, all super quick getting me through the process. I've donated plasma at 4 different centers, and this one is by far the quickest to get through, since it's a new center and not very busy. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to donate.

This was my first time donating plasma i was a bit nervous at first because I don't like needles but they made me feel comfortable and one of the nurses talked to me during the process like a little kid and it made time fly by the time i realized i was already done! My second time was cake it went even faster and i wasn't nervous like the first time cuz i new what to expect good place definitely recommend it.

Started coming the week it opened. I'm a hard stick due to scar tissue but these guys here all manage to find a vein. I love how fast the process is since it's a new facility. I'm done with everything in 45 mins

I've now donated 6 times. Very friendly staff who are very knowledgeable on all phases of the donation process. Every thing is wiped down as soon as a donor leaves and I was impressed by the cleanliness of the facility.

Best donation center. The staff are all super kind and actually care about you and make sure you are comfortable. And the phlebotomists all take the time to talk to you and overall make it a better experience.

Place is awful now. They take a different amount every time I come and don't compensate for more mLs or time.

Ok, I have donated at another plasma center. This center in my eyes is The Hilton ??. The minute you walk through the doors you are greeted with a friendly staff.

They are terrible with communication he told me I couldn't donate after I sat there for 30 minutes giving information and something I been said n took to the back just to say I couldn't donate waist of time then blackmailed me and said if I try to go to other plasma and tell them something different I will get in trouble
