I like to start off by saying Ruth is an amazing person she does excitent work here And I don't come here often but, when I do I hope she is the one who sticks me. She does an amazing job at sticking and other people say the same she should get a bonus and a pay raise most definitely.. Who's ever her manager should give her flowers.
My experience at the facility has been awesome. The staff is respectable The phlebotomist are very knowledgeable. I love how they all work as a team!?? The cleaning lady always have the facility clean! The manager has did a great job with her staff! and I can't forget the security guard you guys rock!
They lied about payment. I came last week for the 1st time on May ,2025 and was informed that I would receive $100 for my 1st 4 donations if they were done within a month. Came back May 3,2025 and confirmed that it was $100 X 4 visits. Today, May 8,2025, I was informed I would receive only $50 per donation moving forward. I won't be coming back. Appears to be deceptive practices. Part 2 Update; Called customer service 2 times. 1st time I called, it was supposedly escalated back to the same site and managem
Idk what happened but they did a major clean up and now I love coming here! This place is more organized and less hectic. The wait isn't super long anymore. There aren't anymore fights with the staff. The current staff is more friendly and talkative. Natalie is my favorite phleboto. Tati and Tracy are my favorite employees. Cindy and Irvine are good "pokers" too if you want experience. Super clean with new beds!
I've been a donor at this location for over seven (7) years and the staff always have treated me with dignity and respect. I am honored to know my donations makes a difference in saving a life.
I would be a lie if I said they were unprofessional but when I say they are intentionally on matrix time and being slow is an understatement. In fact, one employee had the audacity to sit down on a bed grab the arm rest and start beating it like a drum. Meanwhile, it's 1:38 pm as I write this but have been sitting waiting to get stuck since before 1pm
I have been coming here for years the staff treats you like family and it's always a quick and easy process never had any problems ever
Go when it's not so busy. I am a first time donor and everything was immediate. The donation machines as expected take some time.
BEEN DONATING HERE FOR A LONG TIME THE PEOPLE ARE ALWAYS NICE, RESPECTFUL, AND HELPFUL. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF YOUR LOOKING TO DONATE
Absolutely horrible experience. So unprofessional talking amongst themselves when people are waiting to be disconnected from the machine and if they see that you're in a rush, they go out of their way to make sure they talk to all their co-workers and make it a point to take their time to make sure that they irritate you because they know you're in a hurry. This place is so unprofessional, disgusting, and I'll never be back
It's not a lot of good phlebotomist here they can't never seem to find anyone's veins I want be coming back here. But this place is very clean in it's fast track.
After vitals they prevent you from using the bathroom even if you're waiting 45 mins to donate. Preventing donors from using the bathroom is putting their health at risk
Service is fast and fantastic. Staff is very professional and polite and the benefits are great.
To whom it may concern, this was my second time coming to this center. The first time was a positive experience. The second time was a very negative and bad experience before I went to the floor on my first visit I asked who was the best person to stick me, I was told Ivan Jasmine and Tracey Jasmine stuck me and she was not successful another girl unfortunately I don't remember her name but she has a unique name she was successful and I was able to complete my donation. Fast-forward I came to the center on
Natali was very kind when asked questions she gave me all the info I needed very friendly very glad she attended me thank you natali big hugs
This plasma care center is the best place to donate , I never had any problems here very professional especially tracy
Manager on duty miss Tracy is unprofessional, lacks communication skills as well as respect, everyone else is amazing.
Had a very pleasing experience. As far as plasma experiences go. Throughout the years this is the quickest in and out time by far. Clean and staff was friendly enough.
very nice staff, made it very easy!! super clean environment as well!!!
Worst location to go to their Communication skills are horrible. I donated my plasma and didn't get paid. They told me I Back the following day in order to get a card for me to get paid I'll never be back
BooKed a 645 appointment and arrived at 646. Upon answering questions from the staff the informed me that it was 650 and it was too late AFTER questioning me. That's bs took me 2 hrs to get here on the bus just to be spoke to rudely and turned around
I like the staff they're very courteous & professional
I would recommend this place to friends and family, fast and peaceful environment. 10/10
Never had no problems cool ppls
Th security is rude. And no one but him being at the desk is useless , he's no help for simple questions
Soooooo Adorable and Precious thank you for sharing this moment with me
Very good staff always clean and friendly
Clean, professional and very efficient. Tracy is the best!
This is worst plasma place ever the staff is completely ignorant no class what so ever the women answering the phone are rude disrespectful and all an all just lazy they mixed my blood work up with another persons I came in with my blood work from a real dr am they refuse to correct their mistakes they need shut this place down or completely restaff it's ridiculous tbh I'm sueing them for Mel practice
I was not a happy camper here. I was told that I could not donate since I was taking a certain medication for my heart rhythm.
Racism at its finest go to the one on 87th state way better environment
I've been donating since 2014 and I've seen many staff come and go but the staff they have now are great at what they do. The life of the staff is definitely Calvin . I never feel pain with him. Overall everyone is pretty much dope !!!!
I'm noticing all bad reviews majorly I'm not going here at all
This is the worst location I've ever been to staff is so rude and disrespectful they treat donors like Animals! You would think they would give a little more respect we the ones that's keeping them in business .. Level of disrespect I've witness as well as received . Only a few staff here I enjoy seeing and that are pleasant the rest of them act like they don't want to be there . They are way under staffed. I wouldn't return here if my life depended on it. I definitely wouldn't recommend them to anyone - go
Very nice staff and service from them
Amazing center. They are quick and pleasant. Most importantly, love the way Mr. Vega wraps your arm when finished. He does it to where your elbow is not covered, therefore not cutting of circulation when your try to bend??
If yall thinking bout coming here don't they did me bogus as hell I go to biolife more than here I never have no problems there I'm always getting stuck more than once here idk why it's only two people in there that really know what they doing and you'll know when you see them they stuck me twice and took more than 200ML of my blood and only compensated me 30$ after being there for two hours biolife don't do that they give you the whole thing if they stick you twice plus they aint even return my blood here
Super unprofessional and inaccurate information was given when I called today
Highway robbery, practically selling my soul for that lil blood money. Shout out to the Calvin, and a few of the Hispanic women and the one dark skinned woman with the locs. Vega does a good job as well and Irving he's just rude, no care in his job whatsoever. I'm not understanding how he still works there. I hear complaints about him regularly.
My Oldest Daughter Spent her first time donating her blood to give back , and earn healthier. She said it was a good experience knowing she's not alone when she helps people get better like everyone else there. Share and bring a friend willing to help and earn also !!
Friendly staff, cool atmosphere, decent music, short wait times, new donors are getting $100 for the first two donations. After that, this center offers the MOST money for each donation in comparison to any other plasma donation center! If your in a bind and need a few extra bucks... give Grisols on 87th and kedzie a try!
i really like it here cause staff r really nice n fast in seating u down i will b returning with no doubt
Very good professional Workers, I Love This plasma Company For Return donors they give more funds than any other plasma Centers
Went into donate today. Hooked up there some kind of problem with the line. Not my fault! But unlike most places whereas the error occurs on the center's part they give you your full donation amount. Supervisor Tatiana says that she's only give me half.. even though it was not my fault but the centers error! Terrible! Won't be back!
Straight to the point? I love this place and the people? hands down the best no complaints at all.. keep up the awesome work!!
I enjoy coming here to donate. The staff are respectful, considerate and courteous!
I had Put my account on hold for no reason, then when i proceeded to use the kiosk, the assistant supervisor kept my account on hold when she said she did not. For that I was Permanently banned??? Does not make sense what so ever. Very one sided and dangerous center I would not recommend. They torment their workers that work very hard in there. While management pretends to fix problems within the confines. Also i would leave the center with bug bites wondering where they were coming from. Many Health hazar
Non professional and they stay with attitudes
Went here 12.9.2021. I was going to be a fist time donor. First time donors receive 150.00. I arrived at 10.30am. from 1030sm til 1.00pm I'm still waiting to get my physical by the doctor and go to the kiosk to answer there questions, and then go to the donating floor. They say the whole process takes 3 to 4hrs. That's not true. They kept taking returning donors first, and appointments only while the new donors sit for more than 2.5hours or more waiting without any kind of verbal communication. .They do not
This is the most ratchet and unprofessional donation center I've ever experienced. The general manager is rude. They took all the leadership positions from black women. They are constantly behind and wasting individual?s time. They lack customer skill and the appropriate training to adequately preform their jobs!
You're the best work in the world
Unfortunately, I had a reaction while donating due to be being dehydrated. I don't know the staff members name but he was a tall bald male. He was very comforting and reacted fast. The doctor that came afterwards was stern and kind of rude. Overall I'm thankful for that staff member that helped me!
I've been coming here for 2 years. Excellent staff! And great fast service
Great place. Friendly staff!! They are professional & get the job done. The wait time isn't bad. You'll be in there for 2 hours. Time goes by fast if, You have a electronic device. My only complaint, Is the People. Some of those People shouldn't be allowed in. They smell, Are loud, & Ghetto!!! But besides that. The place is great.
Garbage I came here they said you need mail I left came back they said does it have your address on the mail I said read it they said open it they said it needs to be up to date mail I now just went to kedplasma with. NO MAIL AND THEY TOOK ME AS A CLIENT AND SAID BRING MAIL FOR YOUR SECOND DONATION I see why the have no stars here they act like super cops here THEN THE LADY SAID YOU CANT DONATE HERE ANY WAY BECAUSE YOU DONATED SOME where else at to locations I said they were 5 months apart from each other
Love it here? time always with Kelvin, Asia and Erwin are on the floor!!! Keep up the good work guys!!
I have been having problems with this place since last September when they asked me to retake a physical I already took the previous month! They are so lacks and blas? about how long it takes to complete the physical. It does not take hours to do this. The only reason it takes so long is because you spend most of the time sitting and waiting. I came in today hoping to complete this process so that I can continue to donate my plasma as I understand there's a huge need for people to donate. However the worker
This place is very unprofessional, The staff is very rude and have no urgency, I waited 3 hours just for for them to tell me I couldn't donate because of a piercings I've had for months , the ladies really just didn't want to do their jobs they pick and choose who they want to work on and let donate I went to a different location on 87 and Harlem and had no problem donating at all. This location on 87 and kedzie is horrible and need to close down for good and reported. The vibe is messy and they put people
What a false advertising scam lol. You sign up on their website and they send a welcome email offering pay of $400 for the first 4 donations then you get there and get paid the same as current donors!
I been going here for a minute and had multiple professionals assist me, but there is one particular who was very professional, quick and I definitely didn't even feel the procedure in process. I believe the young gentleman that I'm talking about is Kelvin or Calvin, I'm unsure of his exact name but I'm positive that everyone who reads this knows exactly who I'm speaking of because he treats everyone with the same amount of professionalism and respect!!!
Very good customer service from the screeners and from the phlebotomists. Definitely recommend going
This place is disorganized and customer service is severely lacking. First day I spent 3 hours here without donating. I came the following day to complete my donation and spent another 3 hours along with being forgotten. Attempted to get into the Donor Hub and invalid ICN code. At which point I called the Helpline who told me they couldn't help me. I was told to call the office for help with the website. How can a helpline not be helpful? Called the office several times and left 2 messages. NO RETURN CALL.
Terrible I made my appointment at 9:30 and was sitting till 10:30 people just kept walking pass don't pay well at all will never come back here again one guy name Irving just walk off and went to lunch before for finishing up with donor
So today was my first time back here because I been out of town, but today I almost walked out. I was sitting in the front and I seen Rosemary, one of my 3 people that always stick me, so I got to the back and I requested Rosemary, young lady in the back said we don't do that very nasty, I won't say your name but just get it together, so I asked for a manager, Rosemary seen me while she was going on her break and came to my aid, she stopped on her way out the door to help me out. I really appreciate you Ros
New review: kind of annoying that you have to keep reminding staff that you're a veteran to get the 5 dollar bonus it should be on file soni don't have to keep remind staff whenever they forget . And sometimes when I do have to remind them whoever handles the payments seems frustrated everytime I have to tap on window to remind them again about missing the payments it's so annoying that I feel like I bother the employees Make your appointment but expect to be on the chair donating after two hours. No urgen
I am currently sitting here...I've been here since 11am it is now 1:15 and haven't even been seen yet...I've come with others in the past to different locations and the new donors were priority, the staff hasn't even acknowledged or apologized to the people waiting or offered any kind of calmness to the people waiting...! This was my first and will be my last. Thanks but no thanks on this location...not all the staff was rude and unapproachable but most were and the security....well I guess he's here to do
Absolutely and amazing team of workers. Even when it's super packed they still get the job done! They all really know how to work together and support each other.
This was my third visit or attempt to donate here. Staff with the exception of a minute few believe that theyare doing you a favor. Get ready to sit for an unprecedented amount of time if you are a new donor. My first three attempts were in this order 6 hr wait 4.5 hr wait and finally a three hr wait before the process even began. After speaking with the disrespectful center manager i now understand why the staff is so ridiculous. Pros. First Three donations are $75 Cons. Ridiculous wait times disrespe
I don't like anything about my experience there. You would think that as being a new donor they would at least get the paperwork out the way they have you waiting 4 to 5 hours just to call you name even if you came at 7 or 8 in the morning when they first open. Then they want you to eat a good meal but after a couple hours of waiting you will be hungry again and I heard sometimes they run out of saline so u have to drink plenty of fluids before you come overall I think that they should at least speed up the
It states that as a returning donor u will receive $100 for ur first 2 times this is the second time of me going and they only paid me 40$ they full of shyt the staff is ghetto and soooooo unruly they don't answer the phone they have no clue to any questions u may have and I will never return. As a phlebotomist myself they know nothing worse experiences ever
Ghetto. They don't even acknowledge you when you walk in.
The technician at this place think they are nurses, they are very rude in there. Find another place beside this. They treat you like you a crack head or something. They talked to you anykind of way. They need to close this place down.
Awesome place! Super friendly, super professional. John Vega helped me several times and he is wonderful! This is by far, the best place to donate!
This is the WORST location to attend. The staff here will find reasons to not allow you to donate. At 1st I thought the staff was racially motivated. But, I have concluded that they are just untrained.
If two of your staff leave I'm not coming back here because they are they best they treat me with respect kevin & Asia they are the only one that treat me like I matter and respect me
This is my 3rd time donating and it's been quite alrt great people
One of the best Plasma collection facilities around. Most of the staff are courteous an helpful. They just introduced a feature Express Kiosk in Donor Hub 2.0 app that allows you to bypass the Kiosk and use Biometric fingerprint scanner. But have spare time as they usually are packed so I recommend using the app to speed up the process. FYI stay away from fatty foods, dairy, fried food and be sure to drink plenty of water the day before you donate!
Worst donation place ever. Acted like they don't want life saving plasma. The minute they found out I don't live alone I was discriminated against. Don't go here! Don't refer anyone here. There's too many other good places like octapharma and BioLife. Way too many other good companies that value your time and effort.
They permanently deferred me because they cheated me so get this I want to know why did you call me to see when can I come in and then when I try to make an appointment I've been permanently deferred explain that you don't have to send me no text messages call me personally for what
They be using different blood pressure monitors that don't even read your blood pressure right & they also look nasty & old, can't wait until the new plasma center open up in August on 87th and the Dan Ryan. if I could give this no stars I would
I'm from the state of Florida. This Location is very slow for new comers. I've been sitting for 2 hours an I haven't been seen. In Florida your whole process including actually donating for new comers takes about 2 hours. They need to have a special set of people that just takes new comers.
Spend your time elsewhere. They make you wait a long time to donate whether you are a new donor or return donor. I had to go through the new donor process process even though it was less than 6 months after my previous donation which is the time period they mention. Was deferred today because of not having my proof of address. Not a terrible experience dealing with them and some of their staff are friendly, but I'm sure there are better plasma centers to donate at.
i would give zero stars if that was an option! possibly one of the worst plama donation centers I've ever been to. the service given to the donors is nonexistent. they treat you like they are doing you a favor when the donors are the reason the doors are open! if you want a respectful and speedy plasma donation experience, avoid this location LIKE THE PLAGUE!
I had to wait 5 hour to be seen. to do physical n drug test was told my heart rate was to low by 2 points come back tomorrow and you don't have to wait long just blood pressure then do blood . Came back next day at noon. To tell no. I have to do drug test n everything all over again n come back at 7 am when I was there for 6 hours of my time the day before n passed drug test n paper work.
Definitely a friendly place, I love the staff, the waiting area and back area are always clean. Definitely would recommend!
Don't go here!! It's extremely ghetto and dirty. The works aka staff are very rude and nasty. I hope this place get shut down quick!! They always steal your belonging, so you better watch out! Even when you go back to get your blood drain, you leave something there say bye bye because either person or staff gonna steal it and not give it back. There need to be a petition to shut this place down!
Would?ve gave them 0 if I had an option to. Was racially profiled and accused of smelling like marijuana when I don't even smoke. The tall officer that wears headphones and the girl in the front were the ones who told the manager who then came to smell me in the intake room. This led to my blood pressure being high twice and being deferred for the day. Will be calling corporate to make sure this is not standard practice for all black males.
I can't even go back here to donate for what ever reason it's not justifiable because I literally tried every plasma center in Chicagoland that's reasonable soooooo...... why am I permanently deferred last time I went I was being discriminated against and that's why the lady deferred me and they can't do a thing about it super said stray away because the loyalty you show by giving them your blood plasma to do god knows what it and sell for god knows how much when you really need a quick buck they'll do you
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
