This is a fantastic place to visit! The staff is incredibly professional, the facility is always clean, and everyone is exceptionally kind. Ali is amazing; she handled my first stick and really put me at ease. We still chat like old friends, and I highly recommend asking for her, though everyone I've encountered here has been fantastic!
Everyone is friendly, But Allie is awesome she always checking up on me. And I get done fast with her with no problems. Keep up the good work girl
I enjoy coming to this location. It's always clean, and everyone is so attentive. Ali is by far my favorite phlebotomist, she's always so sweet and you can't even feel when she sticks you.
I went to donate for my first time and had a good experience. The staff was nice and got me in last minute even though it was closing time. Definitely will recommend this place.
Definitely recommend to any new donors. I started donating here in April and have never had a bad experience. Ali, one of the phlebotomists, has been one of my favorite people there! Great person and great phlebotomist!
I've been a donor for years, clinical staff always have been friendly and helpful even when short staffed. Went in today after 2 or more of not donating with a bonus text the manager today did not honor because I wasn't on the list of approved clients to receive a bonus. Text verified by the staff member who helped run back and forth with managers communication about not honoring the text of a bonus. This the first time in all the years of my donation that it is not honored.
From the first time I've started donating I have never not met a friendly face although I do have favorites Aly we share the same name ?? but super professional and friendly and I just love Justin he's so funny and one of the best phlebotomist I never feel when he sticks me I love all the people there but those two kinda have more special to me I have recommended all my family to and they all now come
Ally was great to me she explained the machine she was polite! I really do like that she didn't rush to be done she seemed like she paid attention to her job and she rocked it !
Clean, comfortable place to donate friendly staff, like to especially thank amaeru for the hard work I see her do. she makes me look forward to coming back every time..
I would like to express my utmost appreciation to the staff at grifols and in particular to Amaeru for her unwavering commitment to the care and safety of the donor...as well as her exclusive devotion to insure a successful donation from each client
Ali by far is their best asset to this company She is compassionate in her work she makes me feel warm and welcomed and always has a smile on her face
Danielle & Destiny & Tiffany were so very awesome and helpful. They were very respectful and polite.
Love this place! I have problem veins and Jasmine and Courtney are amazing!! Shout out to both of them!!
Great place with friendly folks! Ali is always quick with setups and disconnects, and has never given me a painful stick!
Ali is my favorite phlebotomist she's so sweet and is always attentive to the donors and is always putting a smile on peoples faces. :)
Ally is absolutely sensational. She's very professional and comforting and does an AMAZING job!!!
Everytime I go the donate ali is the best person to have stick you I never feel it and she has the best attitude everyday
I am not from TX, but donate at home. I travel for work and am scheduled to be here for 2 months. I called to schedule a donation on my day off. Because I have never donated here, I had to provide a bill? OK, I had an RV rental spot but all utilities are included, so my rent bill was all I could provide. I'm not sure why this was so difficult. Before I lost my mom, she was dependent on blood transfusions. I feel that donating is a way for me to give back.. It is sad that after 15 minutes on the phone, I w
Ali at the Amarillo location absolutely amazing, I never feel the stick when shes my phleb.
Just went to for my second donation. Great place and staff! Friendly low key easy going people.
The lady at the front desk obviously didn't want to take on anymore patients because it was past one? even after I booked online in advance to come in. I brought 3 pieces of mail in to show my address and she gave me a hard time about each and was super rude about it. Just an overall rude person and I would not recommend going here. I saw her be rude to several different patients and employees. Her attitude sucked. Just go to CSL.
Amaeru the technician that did my plasma donation was very sweet and helpful with any questions I had
Ali and Jazmine V. are the best keeping you calm during the sticking of the needle
Donnavon and Amaru did awesome today, great place!!
Fee's started off with the equivalence of donor's indigent. Plus not boxing and differing shows why we end up with someone else's girl. Before making Elite I looked at subject's as if the 80'$ wasn't real.15k<17k.
I would normally donate twice a week and it was very calm and pleasant to be there. But they hired a few ladies that just talked the whole time and wouldn't attend you. You never knew if they would be in a bad mood when you happen to go. I stop going... I just want to go donate and get out. Not feel all that tension or attitude. Been a few months since I went there so hopefully things have changed...
Ali is great and always makes it go as smooth as possible
Unorganized, lack of good screeners and management. What's the point of scheduling appointments if the appoints are not followed by both employees and donors? Waiting an hour past scheduled times is not okay. Amarillo needs to do better.
Amateur was very attentive made sure I was comfortable
I just want thank all the great staff. at griflos plasma for their awesome performance. Amaeru is a great example because she is friendly. always making sure that the donors are good. She goes out of her way to make sure I'm okay throughout the donation. She is awesome. I That makes me want to donate when ever I can .Thanks Amaeru.
I always liked it until the .... guy with the glasses seemed to enjoy my pain ..he knew he did it too far in. Never again
Been to all other plasma centers in Amarillo and this is by far my favorite. Great staff, and Ali always comes through to make the experience as comfortable as possible.
I have donated off and on at Grifols since 2017.. I could see a big difference in the way things are being ran now. Robert is great and leading a great team! Happy to be back. The girls on the donor floor this morning were happy and showed care to their donors. Thank you for a great experience back.
Ali and Kelli are always amazing when I come donate
Very clean facility and professional staff. Very friendly people work here! Treated like family by staff.
This place has been great, very clean and all the staff are friendly, professional, and fantastic at their jobs. I felt well informed before I went in about the possible risks and have never even gotten a bruise despite having weird veins. Donating plasma isn't nearly so terrifying as tiktok makes it look.
Great place to both make some cash and help save lives! The staff is professional, yet personable. They're friendly and seem to truly care about the donors. The payment isn't the best and they don't have rewards points, but it's not bad. At the very least they're reliable in knowing how much you'll be compensated. They don't compensate by weight and they keep their rates posted at the location and through their app. I feel more comfortable donating here than anywhere else in town.
This place needs to be shut down. First off these people are complete idiots they do not understand how to stick someone with a needle. Oh your blood doesn't flow let's just kept moving the needle in and out and up and down. This caused my blood vessels to rupture and my left arm was in constant pain for 3 weeks. As a matter of fact just stop donating to these multi billion dollar companies. No other country pays people to donate America is the only one and no other country lets you donate more than 45 time
I used to go to CSL but I got tired of their staffs attitude and how ghetto it is. CSL employees are not only rude, they care more about being social and flirting with their co-workers then actually doing any work.
Needing an appointment to donate in a city that has other centers that aren't appointment base is crazy. Don't waste your time go to the other centers you shouldn't need to do appointments for this
All of the staff are nice, knowledgeable, and efficient. I am only giving 4 stars because during my visit today, the manager (Jessica I think or maybe Jennifer) seemed very out of touch with her workers and the floor. 3 people in my section alone were still waiting to be stuck and the manager was nagging her employees to open another section when they were clearly behind. It was super weird.
The workers are very rude to new donors. They don't explain anything. I don't think they take customer service seriously.
This plasma center is a bit out of my way, but I go here because of the staff...like Ali! She's the sweetest! ??
The staff is real professional and friendly. I look forward to donating twice a week. I would give 5 stars but since the AC doesn't work on the floor I have been getting way to hot and sweat pours off of me. This never happened when the AC worked. The ladies ate fast to give us ice packs when needed
The workers are absolutely wonderful and love them and love coming here!!! I wanted to add to this and say why I love coming here! I'm a person that's not comfortable with new places!!! When I first started here I was uncomfortable but after a while the staff helped me and now I love it here!!!!! Some things could be better but the staff is absolutely wonderful and I love them!!! I wanted to thank them for making me feel like family and not just a donor!!!!!!!
4 out of the last five visits I've waited average of 2 hours today I'll be waiting more than 2 hrs awful attendance issues but the staff who shows up is awesome. Shame on grifols for stressing their staff like this. If staff doesn't show up they should be replaced.
They are so understaffed, expect to spend at least a few hours there. If you're a return donor also expect to be priority behind all new donors. You will stand in line forever while they pass you by. They might have 1 person screening return donors if you're lucky. Bottom line. Don't be in a hurry if you come here
I started coming here in April and I was nervous but I absolutely love all of the employees at this plasma center! They're all super welcoming and kind, which is very comforting when donating. They work hard to get their donors in and out as quickly as possible. So glad I chose this center. Love seeing people enjoying their job and having fun doing it.
The 4.6 rating here is definitely on point. This place does it right. The ladies & gentz here work hard together- like a team- and always see to it that everyone is taken care of in both a friendly & professional manner. Keep up the good work, y'all.
Everyone there is so nice and helpful. It was my first time going there in a while and they've improved so much. It was fast and easy and you get to help people so that's awesome!
First time donor, and I was super nervous. But the staff here is amazing! I got hot and nauseous my first donation and the ladies were right there to help me! 2nd donation went awesome! Stay hydrated friends, and come here if you're interested in donating. I will continue to come here!
Been coming here for 2 years now and it is well worth it to have the extra cash when needed or wanted. The staff has always been friend and very efficient. First time here takes a little bit so just bare with them but after that it goes pretty quickly I recommend this place for everyone
Amazing customer care I'm thankful I can help people out, and thank God this system of health is a good resource ,to our nation there employees are hard workers and respectful residents. Sincerely Johntavia RasulAhmad Wells ps..this is a 5star operation !
Great place been donating for almost a year now friendly staff members and very clean place. Would recommend anyone who's donating to give them a try.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. It would be nice if the air conditioner worked and it was cool what about the TVs we used to have TV in here instead of the rerun of the Grifolds video
Always a good experience from start to finish every time I'm in there for my 2 visits. It's like having a 2nd family up there, everyone?s treated equally and they all work hard.
They got better for a little bit and then went straight back to the way it used to be. One screener and 8-10 people sitting in the waiting room. If you want to kill 2.5+ hours then go here. If you want to be in and out in roughly 45 minutes, try the their competitor.
Real nice n friendly people...I go there often any time.. Make good money.. Less pain Sticker... Good people care of it no pain. Add forget other say, Honest that I'm deaf,. Staff real nice and know how write note and communication with me.. I real appreciate that! Staff real good job! Great!! ????
The staff is friendly and very helpful. I have found few businesses that made me feel like they actually wanted to be helpful and had a genuine desire that my experience was great making my repeat business something to look forward to. It's 8/5/2019 and I just made my 10th donation here. I have had to cancel appointments and reschedule others. My personal schedule tends to interfere with anything I try to do for the good of my community. And if you are around me for any length of time there is sure to be co
My experience here was very good. The staff was really helpful to me and friendly. They had little incentives to get more money. I drank lots of water so it went really fast for me. Less than 3 hours for my first visit.
The staff of Talecris Plasma seems to regularly consist of very nice people. The staff members tend to provide practically painless service / care. Although the center is often quite busy, it looks like they do their best to get people in and out as quickly as possible. That being said, I have a pretty big complaint about this place. They regularly close their doors 5 or more minutes earlier than their listed closing time. I consider to be a bad business practice.
One of cleanest plasma donating facilities I have been too. Staff is always moving with a purpose and still maintaining a professional atmosphere throughout the day. Honestly, coming in to donate weekly is a draining task but they all help you through it.
The staff is very friendly and always welcoming. Very professional they get you in and out quick and make the time your there fun the first time you go will take awhile but after that you go in and out quick.
They take the needle out of the vein, and then they scratch you with the tip. When they are not careful enough to pull it out, they scratch my arm easily downlined.
A pleasant experience from start to finish. Everyone I have ever encountered here is exceptionally well trained and behaves in a professional manner. Excellent customer service. Highly recommend.
I have had only good experiences at this plasma donation site. I've been going over a year now. You can ask for certain people to stick you and set you up, which I appreciate. The staff is friendly and will chat with you and joke. Clean environment. Masks required still. The monthly payments do change but you always get bonuses throughout the month! Which is awesome!?? recommend
Love this place! I have a fear of needles and some awkward veins, but they're always understanding and patient and very professional. Plus they're so friendly and funny! Makes every visit less stressful.
I've been coming here for over two years, EVERY time I call the centers number I am either met with extremely long wait times, or no answer at all (9-10) no one answers. I've even gone as far to sit in the lobby and call, I've watched them blatantly ignore they phone whilst talking to another coworker about her dinner plans. I'm fed up with your customer service.
Great friendly staff. You get to save lives while making extra spending money that helps on things like gas, food or even Christmas Gifts. Bri is nice and personable. Very courteous and professional!
Amazing! Everything I come in to donate plasma the staff is super courteous and kind. They genuinely care about their people. I'm usually in and out very quickly. This is hands down the best place to donate in town!
I have only donated a few times but I am glad that I picked this place to donate. The staff is fantastic and always friendly. Always making sure everything is ok throughout your time there. I will definitely be going back for awhile.
Always a blast when I come. it's a win win situation, im helping others while getting help with extra income! I always recommend this place from people ask me about donating. The staff is always the sweetest
I started donating May 2022 and have had nothing but positive experiences. Staff is very friendly and personable. The extra $ has really helped, especially with todays gas prices! Highly recommend donating at this center.
If I could give no stars I would sat there for two and a half hours the poor girl that was there before me had been there almost 3 hours I get that we're new donors to your company and there's a process but almost 3 hours and nobody even talked to us this is the first place I've ever donated or in this case attempted to donate and waited anywhere close to that long then come to find out I could have just went to your competitors have a wait time of 45 minutes for new donors so I just walked out and they pay
Been coming over 4 years now and things have gotten much better with the new scheduling system! Used to have to wait a long time before even being screened, now get to the beds usually under 15 mins which is a drastic improvement! Staff is very prompt and professional.
Great staff, clean enviorment, nice clientele. With the online portal you can set up an appointment quick and easy (if you have been before.) I recommend this place if you value quick, efficient and clean work done. It's rare that I have anything less than a fantastic experience.
Started donating in 2017. Place was okay, a decent way to get easy money. However, it's drastically gotten worse and worse. They NEVER answer their phone. You will be waiting for an hour + just to be screened because their employees don't like to go to work and they are constantly understaffed. Most of the employees are always moody and seem annoyed to be there. It's been such a headache my last few times. Today I was supposed to get $125 but only got $45. Had to go up there not once, but TWICE because they
Great place! Everyone is always super helpful and friendly. I go on average of twice a week and never had to wait more than 5 min after my appointment time.
The staff was so nice and friendly but they really screwed up my arm. Its been almost 2 weeks and its not getting better, severe nerve damage
This is an amazing friendly place I love all the staff they are all so friendly, it's very clean, and they are very quick. I also love the fact that they have chairs to sit on after a long day at work !! Thanks to all the staff for being so amazing!!!!!
Finally! A nice, respectful place to be a plasma donor and help save lives! Staff is professional and personable. This was my 1st time donating and the process took a long time. Maybe 3 hours.
Been coming here for about 3 years, their family and they always do a great job...very cool professional group of gals...
New only came in twice before one of there new person stuck me I had a large bruise and I got a machine that wouldn't stop malfunctioning will I was on it
The staff is super friendly and very personal. Also this is a great way to help others while making a little extra cash! Heyleigh is awesome!!!
I love the staff there. Very friendly and they make my donation fast and comfortable every time.
Have never been, but does it pay you for donating plasma??
Robert has done an amazing job with the efficiency & cleaniness of this place. I actually worked at the hotel where Robert & his wife stayed when he first arrived in Amarillo. I never told him I was a regular at his new assignment, but over time hopefully he recognized me. Being a donor before Robert's tenure and afterwards is a complete turn-around and for the better!! The efficiency of this place is probably the most mind-blowing. Going from a crowded lobby and donations taking from 2-3 hours down to abou
often sounds like your donating in the projects with the music selection, its horrible and very loud. Its so loud that its difficult to hear what they are saying to you. One employee seems too distracted to perform her duties and tends to distract others around her preventing them from performing their duties. Horrible music at loud levels continues and has gotten even louder. Will discontinue at this location. Absolute trash
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
