The wait time has been reduced with the new (and very chaotic) scheduling format. But the new staff has been repeatedly reckless when it comes to the needle insertion and removal. This is the aftermath after a new nurse jabbed my arm in a very unusual way. All I got told was to "ice," and that's it.

Went to this one cause never heard of it before. No one was at the desk, when I walked in the door, red flag right there. Second, the woman who "was helping me" was like talking to a wall. And the fact that this same woman straight told me that because I have a inhaler, because I have asthma (fyi been donating for well over 20 years myself, stating in the late 90s) not to use my inhaler due a week so I could donate. BEWARE OF THIS FACILITY!!! As a first timer, I was appalled by the way this place operated, and the horrific experience I had. The staff/workers are EXTREMELY RUDE and unprofessional, the profanity and harsh language was persistent. I literally saw them intentionally ignore the phones. When you call to obtain information about the process it doesn't match the information that you get in person. They expect you to know the process already even when you don't as a first timer who never done this before.

This place deserves no stars for how unprofessional loud ghetto and lazy these workers are they talk about there personal business here and are loud with it there is a lot of people who are waiting for service and have to wait 50 mins to a hour to just get vitals the phone rings and there's no one there to answer the nurse is never in when I tell you the whole staff needs to be replaced they need to be replaced or this place needs to go under new management

I've been going here for a while and never had a problem! They work with you as best as they can and they are very friendly! Even when they couldn't find my vein I was still able to receive my reward even without the plasma for that day. If they deem it not to be your fault they will still pay you! People are nice and they said I have huge veins and am vascular so I don't understand why they were fishing for my vein. She dug in my arm with a needle, and it was immensely painful. She wanted to stick me again but I refused. Great first experience... So I got stabbed improperly and got no money. They swirl a needle in my veins on one arm and want to do it to the other. I go with my boyfriend all the time to Grifols and he really enjoys it a lot. The staff are always very nice and they always make sure they take care of anyone that walks threw there doors.

This place is a total joke. You can get anyone on the phone, when you walk in the place it's like a ghost town. I was told to take a paper to my doctor to sign only for my doctor to call and say I don't have that condition. I live 45 minutes away so I'm on hold waiting on these clowns to answer the phone I've been on hold over 10 minutes now. Whoever is running the place needs to do something about people not being helped. No other center in town has this issue. I would give the rating a zero if I could.

this place is really unprofessional. Always short handed so the wait can be forever no matter what time you go (I've tried literally every time). Employees aren't too experienced so I've seen plenty of infiltrations leaving giant bruise marks and then you have to use your other arm after they blow your vein to receive practically any pay. Pay is definitely not worth it but if you're desperate and don't care to wait 3 hours and have scars from the needles for 120$ then go ahead.

Great staff. There better at poking you than any other center that I've experienced! ANGEL and TAWANNA are the best in my opinion. DELILAH is also very much amazing

Maybe it's just when I have gone in recently to ask a question, but there's never anybody at the front desk, and I can make eye contact with multiple people but nobody comes. There's always 15 ish people waiting in the front area so I get it, you're busy and understaffed. You can only put so many people through that you can support in the back. But it's been so long like this that I don't know if it's worth it to try. Maybe I'll come back again, but for now I'll try going to CSL. Staff are friendly though

I've been coming here for almost 2 years and it's been a positive experience each time. The friendly staff, easy check-in process, and comfortable atmosphere make the process go by quickly. In this time of crisis, it's a great way to help other people while putting a little $$ in your pocket.

Staff are rude. They check your protein everytime you donate and then after several months you get a blood test ran. They told me I have to come in to give another sample in a week and a half. Then after that it'll be two more whole weeks till I can donate again. Even though they check my protein every time I donate and have never had a problem before. They also failed to notify me of this before my next donation date. So I wasted gas for a 40 minute drive there and back because of their negligence.

place is clean and professional. This place only has a low rating because the degenerates that frequent it don't know how to act in public and take their frustration out on the establishment's google review. The workers are friendly and hard working. Especially that younger black worker. She is a multi-tasking idol. Never disappointed when I go.

The staff is rude and neglectful. They will talk to each other about their personal lives at the front desk and completely ignore you, as will the phlebotomists. The screeners take they're sweet time and will wait, pace around, and disappear to the back for several minutes before very slowing setting up for the next person. The only good thing about this place is their ability to actually stick you properly. Smoothest plasma donation that I've had.

The ladies there were awesome I went through the entire intake process but they weren't able to find a vain. They didn't want to hurt me by trying to "find"one so they said I couldn't donate, however,they still compensated me. I gave plasma here for about 3 years and it was generally always a good experience. There seems to be a high turnover rate so it can be 50/50 whether the person who sticks you will make it hurt or not. The distribution of staff seems a little off balance sometimes too based on how many people are waiting to be screened. Overall a pleasant place though and an easy way to make some extra money.

Policy is use headphones when listening to music and/or video. Staff did not enforce. No talking on cell phones. Staff did not enforce. I have been donating here for 2 plus years. After some changes recently this place has become so easy to donate at. Even with the current pandemic, they always make it easy. Highly recommend donating here. What's better than saving lives and getting paid for it?

Make sure not to come in at the same time as other donors otherwise you might be accused of smelling like drugs. Most of the staff are friendly and professional but today was the last straw. Literally got pulled into an office (not even five minutes of being there) and was sniffed by a practitioner. Never felt so degraded, and have my character attacked when I did nothing wrong . Have been coming for years but this is the last time .

Doesn't matter if it's empty or packed, it's going to take forever. Employees sitting in the back while people wait up front. Everything used to run so much quicker two years ago. Now I can't get in and out in under 2 hours. It's absurd.

I have been a donor at Griffols for 2 years now and they have been pretty poor, but for most of us were our only option for donations besides CSL. Today for me was the last straw. I am currently 1hr and 15 minutes in to my visit and have yet to be screened because they forced me to resign up for DonorHub. They made me sign up last year, but we never used it. It took them nearly an hour to sign me up because I was already registered and they couldn't swap my donor location. I asked them why they were forcing

I have donated at a lot of different centers in multiple different states and this is by far the slowest place so far you will wait a hour before you even get to a bed doesn't matter about the amount of people GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!! Also one of the lowest paying centers

Don't bother becoming a new donor unless you have a lot of time to kill. You will be there for 4-5 hours, no exaggeration. Also everything is walk-in, you cannot schedule appointments or do anything over the phone. This is pathetic. I've donated plasma in centers that were run much more competently and better staffed.

Please go visit another plasma center for friendlier staff, SOAP IN BATHROOMS, smaller wait times, and better internet. This center is about one thing making you wait, other centers are better about paying their staff and donors as well as having an app that works as intended.

Everyone on here who said they got turned away it's probably for good reason. Make an appointment and don't be an ass. I've never had a problem as long as you do what they want and you meet all of the requirements. To me it's a great way to make a few extra dollars with minimal effort.

Used to beuick and friendly Got an 8 week deferral over their faulty tubing. They made no attempt to compensate me for the 800 dollars lost by no fault of my own.

They treat people like trash! Specially they now that some people have few choices. They manipulate the bonuses so that they get the max numbers of donation! And, after the news that The Administration is going to cut food stamp the number of donors increased significantly and they know this so they treat people "accordingly!!" I will start donating in CSL Plasma from now on. At least they have a better people and treat you like human.

I've been donating for almost 12 years now and some of the best interactions I've had have been with the Griffols staff. It's also helped me pay for my daughters private school as well as save lives! Win Win

Had a really bad experience at CSL so I decided to go to Grifols Biomat and the service was prompt, the people were excellent, helpful, and friendly. I especially liked the attentiveness of one phlebotomist by the name of Deondre

Horrible experience... They made me wait 2.5 hours just to tell me my pulse was too high. While I understand the medical requirements, could they not have checked me out right away? Don't waste your time with this place. It sucks!

Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They let you know when certain things need adjusted and how you can adjust them. They keep the facility clean and their donors safe.

I have a condition that causes me to have tremors when I stand. They wouldn't let me use a stool to answer questions at the kiosk therefore I wasn't able to donate. For a place that claims they need more donations, you'd think a simple thing as providing a stool wouldn't be an issue. I'd understand if it was a medical issue but it was all about providing me a seat, my condition has nothing to do with my plasma....

I didnt donate for the longest time. I got a bonus card in the mail. I go in for an extra 30 plus the 20 on your first donation for a total 50 bucks and I'm turned away because I need to renew my physical but cant get me in for any appointments and my card expires the same week on the 25th. Super clean and super friendly staff. I have those tricky veins that left me terrified to donate many times over but i am at ease here and my donations have been way more painless here than any others i had been to in the past.

Place is a joke. Even if you try to make a appointment it has to be for that day now. You can't set up an appointment 2 or 3 days ahead anymore. I remember when I could just walk in without an appointment would be so much better

After complaining that my vein was hurting because she didn't put the needle in right, I got banned for asking Marcus if he could take it out. He told me he was busy I asked if someone else can do it she came and snatched my tape off. After telling her to calm down my next visit I could no longer donate.

Yesterday I was my first time donating plasma here in the experience was not bad the ladies were great but when I left I finished my whole donation no problems a little nauseated but you know I left 40 miles away I donated to pay my power bill they never paid me it wasn't on the card called they closed got to the bus terminal missed the bus it's okay I thought I had a card with money on it it's supposed to be immediately added no 40 miles away no phone no nothing accepted empty card and an empty wallet call

Worst possible place you can go to for plasma donation. The workers there are rude and unprofessional. Not only did they insult other donors but myself as well.. It's disgusting how the workers are inside that building. If I could rate it a ZERO and still post I would. I'm embarrassed for the people that work there for how they behave.

I'm very unhappy that I overheard someone who works here not understand how to use the plasma apheresis machine. Not only that but the site of the needle where I was stuck is very painful and whoever stuck me didn't stick me very well because my first time I did just fine and had no issues. Now I'm in pain with an ugly bruise and never coming back again.

My son, who is on the spectrum was asked to leave because the nurse who was doing the physical felt he was being rude when infact he is monotone.

I have donated many times in champaign, il. But today was the worst experience ever. First when i was screened the guy was very rude, couldn't even get up an turn scale on or even put the bandaid on my finger. Then when i was on plasma machine (after first try with needle and putting needle in other arm), Paul never checked on me, raised my hand several times cus my fingers were numb and felt like arm was going to blowup. Couldn't wait to get out of there.

I like Talecris Plasma way better than any other plasma center because they are patient and there process is pretty fast and they pay you on time. And the staff are very friendly and respectful

I've been over here three times where they have told me I couldn't donate for a different reason each time. They send you away more then actually letting you donate. I would never recommend this place to anyone I know because of the service you get while you are here as well. They act like you're just a number to them and not a person.

The negative reviews are more about the people reviewing than the place. They do a great job, especially considering most of the people they have to deal with.

They don't answer the phone when someone is trying to call to ask questions. I've seen this first hand they walk past the phones like they're so busy but they're just sitting ther conversing with each other
