Customer Reviews

I didn't have a good first impression experience @ this center. The first area you go to (receptionist) The young lady was stone faced and rude. Not typically the kind of person any company would put up front to be the face of the company. I asked for a manager and the manager was basically the same way. Unprofessional and I had to ask several times if she could lower her voice. She was speaking so loud, confrontational and combative .. I had to ask for Corporate number. Very Unprofessional and rude. And Th

Great customer service! Been coming here for 6 years now and everyone is super nice! I always request Asia she is the best pheblomist she's really good at sticking don't feel a single thing ??

This facility is 5 stars in my books! It's worth the hour of my time twice a week to help someone in need. Bonus YOU GET PAID TO DONATE! The staff is fast, fun and friendly! Highly recommend for anyone looking to make a difference (and a little extra cash!)

Actual staff is good. Security is either overly helpful (great!) or rude jerks who sit on their phone and act like they can't explain anything in a polite fashion.

It took me four hours from walking in the door until I left. Didn't get stuck until 2 hrs and 15 min into my wait. I get stuck in the high return pressure and that adds 30 extra minutes. There is never enough staff to accommodate the people donating. Y?all gotta get this fixed. It's ridiculous.

Grifols plasma pays better than most plasma places. However, I have been going for 4+ months and have not been alerted of any promotions, the rules are ridiculous, luckily the most of the staff is super nice, I believe the"boss" that made the rules has a power complex. No talking, you can only use your phone if you have ear buds, no phone calls, no interaction with other donors, no drinking any water, and the security guard is nosey asking about your appointment - then work behind the desk. If you want the

This is not really about the center or the staff, the location is literally dangerous, there are people shooting up drugs in their car is in the parking lot, And neither the staff nor the security can do anything about it. It's extremely pathetic and very concerning. After witnessing a person shooting up in the parking lot, I informed the staff and somehow the boyfriend found out and confronted me in the parking lot, it was a very difficult situation and I will not be coming back to this location.

Edit 9/18/24: there's a new system with larger bottles and how much you donate is based on BMI. So even if your donation amount (and time!) went up, your pay did not. The people remain amazing, but the company is seeming greedier. Edit 6/20/24: looks like that $55 per donation is a new pay structure for all donors, which is _very_ low for first time donor pay compared to other donation centers in the area. Original: I have nothing but great things to say about this center. They operate like a well-oiled m

Best place to donate your plasma! Very good customer service with a great and friendly staff every day of the week! If you are a return donor then your usually in and out in a hour or less! A great service to provide for your community and you get paid also! A true win win AAA+++

Kinda is so so awesome and a really good person also Amanda is a also and a really good person

My first visit & donation yesterday was ?? From the time I walked in the door to the time I walked out the door, it was all on point. I love that they have processes and procedures (that they are adamant about following, every time) and that donations are by appointment so you're not standing in line and shuffling through with no customer service. This is a great place to donate. Also, give Kari a raise?.SHE IS INCREDIBLE. Knocked it out of the park. No, seriously. Kari is a keeper and I am super glad she w

Very professional floor crew Awesome knowledge team work and smiles

The staff here are very friendly and work quick. It was pretty busy when I went. Ms. Regina W did such a great job. Needles usually hurt but it was the least painful stick I had. I have a rolling vein and usually hard to get and slow blood flow but I was off the machine in 40. Usually takes an hour and a half for me.

Every time it's fast and friendly service

Went in to donate as a new donor, spent three hours going thru the process just for nobody to be able to find a vein in either arm. I have never NEVER in my 39 years had anyone have any trouble finding my veins, even at a plasma donation center. Then they give me $25 for my time which is laughable because I was supposed to get $150. I don't care if it's your policy. Your policy needs to be changed. No fault of my own should mean full compensation. I definitely will NOT be returning to waste my time again an

Absolutely a better experience than BioLife! I was taken as a walk-in new donor and the process was very quick (2.25 hours for sign up, physical, donation) and professional! At BioLife I was turned away even though I had an appointment! These guys are great and even have an app that will make subsequent visits even easier!

This place used to be great, I would walk in and after filling out my information on the kiosk, within a minute, maybe two minutes the employee(s) at the front desk would call me and tell me to sit outside any one of the interview doors 1-6. Now I have no idea what in the world is going on there.. there a several employees standing around, and you hear someone yelling from the interview offices door 1 or door 4... What does that mean, am I who is still sitting in the main waiting area supposed to assume tha

Best plasma center I have been to. The staff are extremely nice and they actually do their jobs. I would not switch centers if someone paid me. If your reading this and you donate somewhere else..switch today you won't be disappointed ??

I am a long-term donor that is very proud to be a part of the Grifols locations here in the Charlotte North Carolina area. Both centers are extreme professional, fast and courteous and kind. Love all the staff

Every experience has been great! The employees are really kind and energetic. They get you in and out as quickly as possible, all while assuring you're comfortable and relaxed. Oh...did I mention some of the employees are cute too! ???? #BloodRush

I really like this branch. I have been to other places and brushed off their rudeness due to the mass amount of people in the lobby, but my first time in here they were seriously packed but they were so nice. They seem to have a good order to everything and I feel like my plasma donation is sincerely appreciated by everyone I come in contact with at Telacris on Central Avenue

I have never been to this location before, so I called to get more information on what I would need. A delightful woman name Sontae (I hope I'm spelling that right) answered the phone and talked to me about the things I would need. She was one of the most polite people I have spoken with in quite a while. Though I have not visited yet, I am very pleased with the service I have received! I look forward to meeting the staff tomorrow! If they are half as nice as Sontae was, I'm sure this will be a very positiv

I enjoy coming to this location because they are very welcoming and drama free!! Each time I donate I never have to wait a long time!! Danyelle is a very very good phlebotomist and she's quick and confident!! I love it here??

I've been going here for over a year. Grifols always feels very welcoming. The facility is very clean and the staff is as sweet as can be. They know me by name and make we feel comfortable every time I donate.

Here helping a friend who is starting over! From the start all staff have been very rude and clearly showing favoritism to certain walk ins! Walks in are coming and going my friend had a VIP card to help on time here! This place has a 3 rating and I find 2 at best as one of 9 ppl even tried to show anything that looks like a staff member at wk!

Twice I've came to donate. Sat there for two hours both times. Every time I asked how much longer??the nurse will be with you in 5-10 minutes? an hour goes by & I get the same response. Don't waste your time. There are plenty of places in the city that value YOUR time. Every automated system says you can schedule an appointment, but they don't actually schedule appointments.

The phlebotomist here just aren't good. They mess up sticks. Save your veins.

I absolutely loved going here hate to leave it due to circumstances but the staff and folks here are wonderful and they actually have certain events here sometimes too if u catch em at the right times

Very valuable and I feel as though I am contributing to a deserving individual. The Staff here has slayed it. Their intake protocol is been consistent. I like that it remains a clean environment and I feel safe donating. Thank you Grifols/Talecris!

Always respectful especially when you're respectful to them. Never a long wait or long time donating and money usually paid within a few moments of leaving the place. Very much enjoy the staff and actually have alot of fun with them when there from constant laughing. Great place to donate

Have been to all plasma places in Charlotte except Biolife. Talecris Grifols on Central Ave. is by far the best run of them all. There is hardly ever, and really never, any wait time and all the donor techs are so awesome in their personalities as well as doing their jobs. Highly recommend if anyone is considering taking up donating. Would give 10 stars if I could.

My Update is from 1 star to 5 stars on 12/30/2019. My 1st visit was 10/04/2019 and 2nd visit was 10/05/2019. From there my experience has been awesome. From intake to vitals to donating to exiting, the staff me feel at home & comfortable with sunnyside up friendliness and breezy conversation. Vanessa, Braysia, and Sheri are amazing at the donor beds as also the other staff members. They all have high spirited vibes on the job. Thanks for all you do for effective customer service; Staff at Talecris/Grifols o

Sundai here dropping my review, and I'll begin by saying Ive yet to have donated to a different location. Every employee is a friend and every doctor can be trusted. Havent had an issue with needles or procedure since I began donating at this location. They even give great banking help when needed. The red head doctor is my favorite!

0 stars because I called at 11:30 to ask to schedule because I was a new donor she stated ?we accept walk-in new donors until 1:30? I got there at 12:58 I was told I couldn't be seen as soon as I came in because apparently there were three more people in front of me with no way to get home I was counting on that donation

Very personable and clean environment. The wait time is reasonable and the employees are very nice. I will be back!

I have been to a lot of plasma centers in charlotte, this one takes the gold medal by far! Everyone on staff is very friendly and professional and they make the donation process very swift and easy. I have never been here for longer than 2 hours as a return donor, 2-3 hours at some locations is standard. 10/10 would recommend

I Love the people here they are very caring and they not only are "absolute great" health care providers, but they treat you like family, so respectful, they get to know you.. Make you feel comfortable and welcomed.. Awesome place they'll take care of you here! And "BEST PART THEY GIVE THE BEST PAY"$$

This place those people are simply Amazing! They treat you like family and their bedside manor was impeccable. I donate 2x a year and wouldn't go anywhere else!??????

Tried to go in after work and after waiting 20+ minutes, was told the nurse isn't taking anymore new donors because either 1) they had too many new donors already and/or 2) it was too late. I've donated at Grifols before and there was no problem becoming a new donor given my circumstances. On top of all that, they don't take appointments, yet the only time I can come in is after work. Sounds like the nurse is lazy and just doesn't feel like working.

I have been going here for a while, I have never seen the place dirty, also I never seen anyone outside by the door smoking. They have made improvement, that benefits the employees and the donors! As long as you give respect you will get respect!!

Been going for over 5 years always friendly. Im treated respectfully. Also there's very little turnover which is nice bc the same people treat me. Go with confidence.

The staff at Grifols on Central Ave. are amazing. From the front door to the back rooms I have always been either smiling or in a great learning conversation about the wonderful things done with plasma research. I would list more names than just Laura (running things), Amy, and especially Bree for excellence, but they were there on the day of this review and in the past have always been awesome sauce. Go here and do a good thing for others in need. Donate. :)

These are the slowest rudest people here they make up rules as they go they are unprofessional they sit around and talk about the night they had before. They cuss.in fromt of customers they mever know whats going on if you ask them a question its always "idk" they talk about people when theyre not looking . the ones thats been there for a while swear they know everything they are unsanitary. Rude ass front desk staff. They skip over people that dont like names. Just plain old GHETTO

I don't know what people that are rating this expect. The first time giving takes forever. They tell you this and there is nothing they can do. After that it is never more than an hour and a half. There is a lot to the process. You get paid to literally sit there and do nothing. I've always had great service and everyone is really kind. You get the respect you give.

I have been to different plasma centers, but this is The Best by far. The staff is very nice, the facility is clean, and they are very organized even on a "busy day" moving the clients through fast. Keep up the good work!

Excellent experience everytime. The staff is ALWAYS very friendly and upbeat while putting the care and safety of the patrons first. Unquestionably the absolute best in the area!!!

It's only 5 stars but I would love to apply 100 more they have great staff have good energy and are quick at doing they job

I read a lot of questionable reviews on this plasma center & I'm confused by who wrote them because I had a very pleasant experience today. I was a new donor so you bring your social security card, picture id with your address on it and you're good to go. I read all materials, was checked in promptly, had my physical done in a timely manner, got my payment card to activate when I left and was directed where to sit for donation. EVERYONE on the staff was respectful and friendly with me ( of course it's a two

This plasma place is great! I've been going for a couple of months now and they have been so kind to me every visit. I'm never waiting in line long and everyone i talk to is courteous and attentive. Would definitely recommend

Mixed bag...time never improves...one nurse blamed me for wiggling around...she was willing to have me sit there for over 3 hours....had it not been for a male nurse who solved the slowdown issue...i would be there a few more hours...the week bf i had a nurse think it was okay to wiggle a 15 gage needle under my skin...not just one nurse the go to nurse did it too....major bruising and worry on,my part....blood on my clothes and my compensation was 10 bucks...wow..enough said. .

This is the best place to donate plasma. I became a donor 10/25/2018. I feel like they are so much more than professional than octapharma (the only other place I'm donated). As soon as I told the lady?s up front that I would like to become a new donor, they greeted me by saying: welcome to the family and we are glad to have you. They move very quickly and are just very nice and sweet. Plus the new donor fees are $75 $50 $75 $50 & your fifth visit is $75. You can't beat that at all ???? I am very pleased

I've been coming here for quite a while staff is always courteous and professional especially the staff in the back. Thank you Quilla for always being cheerful nice and professional and Chantel you do an awesome job as well.

Usely have a good experience, the uoung lady who set me up was good. The parking lot was packed so I parked across the street. So when I was leaving the security guard stopped me and told me I couldn't go out the front door. So I told im but my car is across the street, so I went to ask why I was told it helped the flow. In my opinion this is ridiculous it is never that crowded to where a person can't go out the front door. You guys get a lot of money from peoples plasma and we can't even go out the front d

I love the plasma center. All The staff here have great customer service skills. They're all easy to talk to very friendly and your donation process will never be boring. Every phlebtomist here is an excellent stick as well. I have deep rolling vien which can cause issues at times however, the phlebtomist aways do a great job sticking me. thank u Talecris.

The staff is nice, the phlebotomists are good, and they get you in and out fast as possible. The best service in Charlotte.

I've donated several years and several locations. The staff here is by far the most caring and professional that I've ever had. They even remember me, who I am as a person, and acknowledge me by name!

Was donating here for about 4months with no problems. Now all of a sudden then banned me because my protein level was 1 point off ...very bad service. I recommend going somewhere else

I only rated this place 5 stars so it could be seen! Do NOT go here. I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE! My Husband donated and he NEVER was paid! Then they have him a bullshit answer to get him off the phone and closed the store. I can't wait until I find corporates number! Unprofessional asses!

Why turn someone away that is taking the time, energy, transportation, & nutritional preparation away from donating during normal regular hours? Today I was turned away at 6pm. Don't waste my time when I arrive on time ready to donate.

I've been going to this location since March of 2018 and since I've been going here i have had nothing but excellent service from the staff you are greeted when walking through the door and told to have a good day while leaving the staff are kind and gentle i recommend this location for anyone looking to donate plasma and looking for a place with freat people

My name is Michael I am here at this place where my daughter is donating I asked if she was doing okay they told me they could not tell me while I'm sitting here waiting for two other people asked about the person they have brought they told them about the so I went back up to ask about my they told me to leave they cannot give me an explanation why they could not tell me I do believe this place is I am white we are the only white people here I felt very insulted

Overall experience is great...I've used other companies and atleast hear I don't feel like a number and they actually feed u hear....lol it makes sense. Thank u telacris!

Love it here!!! Staff is always nice and welcoming. Customer service is A++++

Hey family please note this is more than a review but a confirmation that there are people who still take pride in their work. The team at Talecris Plasma Center at 731 Central Ave. act like doctors and care takers for real. As a retired fire fighter i know the value or good service when someone's life lie in the ballot and this team rises to the occasion. . I do this not just for the money but having my own challenges in life I know the important of this process. Tried other centers , this one is home.

Pretty slow at times but overall great people. Staff knows me and my girlfriend very well. Never had any issues with this location.

This place is very clean, first plasma center I went to and the restrooms are always clean. Staff are so professional, never had any issues out of one. They also move really fast

Staff is always so friendly and are always having fun while working! Last week was my first time and I was at total ease!

Quick process in and out in 2 hours or less. Clean place professional staff never had any issues here. Good way to make a lil extra money.

Some, no most of the staff were really friendly and courteous... *UPDATE" A month later and here's where the latest tll They are very inconsistent, one day you can (or have to) call to make an appointment, the next day you can't. On more than one occasion I called first and when I arrived, there was an excuse not to take me because I'm a "New" donor. Apparently, no one, wait the majority of the staff are too lazy. No one wants to process new donors because they are required to do a "physical" . They lack p

The customer service is terrible.... Bad manners poor workmanship... They are very slow and unproductive.... I waited 5 hours to wait again ... They really need to get better customer service training at the center in central ave in Charlotte NC

Aquilla is the best phlebotomist there, I love her...I didn't f feel a thing. All the staff welcome you and they're all great.

Always a fun environment and the staff are highly trained!! I've been coming to this location for years!!!

Staff is always kind whether you can donate or not. Clean facility and wait times aren't long. Best payout over ALL the centers.

This plasma center is the worst plasma center I have ever been to in my whole life they discriminated against me and my husband told us we smelt bad and that we were not allowed to donate because of that we do not smell bad we take showers like normal human beings don't ever come to this plasma center even the manager will side with the staff they did nothing about it when they were confronted by us

I went yesterday nd the guy who checks your veins was not professional at all he put the tie around my arm and with out telling me to pump my hand or NE thing he touched my vein barley nd said no nd I had a doctor take blood from me not 2 weeks ago so I def though he was being racist cause he kept giving me looks as I waited nd it felt like he was just trying to turn me down nd I'm no drug user or NE thing I thought this place was horrible

I was kinda afraid of going to a new plasma center to donate, but then I met Asia Camps at location, and she handle me with so much care. Now I feel comfortable with new location.

GREAT PLACE! They are kind, professional, friendly, and great at what they do! So many amazing people work here!!!

Have been coming for a while...friendly staff .lil bit rocks .always helpful and very pr8

I am corantly waiting to donate I'm a first timer and the time ia now 3:38. I've been her since 2:14 and all ive done was sign my name.... a man came in and I'm pissed he got in seen and getting his arm pumped now.. he just wand in 10 mins ago??. I notice he had a green folder does that need you on a fast track pass or some thing eveeone else has red and orange and yellow folder someone tell me what that means. I'm pissed and need money ima bout to flip.

I always have a great donation here and enjoy the staff each and every visit. Kindness and respectful to me, cheerful even on my bad days. Thanks talecris.

I've been donating here for about 2 months and i couldn't be happier. I've been to all of the plasma centers in the area. This is the most professional and you get well compensated for your time. Very professional and very clean.

It's a 5 star to me I only had one bad experience but the supervisor took care of it..and when u have to do a sample I feel that you should get a more than 5 dollars

Great place to donate easy way to make extra money n save a life too.....always clean ....... I have to say staff are always respectful and nice .... they are always smiling or laughing ... I love donating to make a few extra $$$$ to save a life ... best place to donate in charlotte...

Try to remember where you're going - it's a plasma collection site. You aren't likely to get the star treatment. You are one of hundreds of other files on the shelf that go in, get processed and screened, donate, and leave. It is what it is - that's why I'm back in school to get a better education to find a good career so I DON'T have to come to a place like this anymore for extra money.

The staff here was so unorganized ended up making 2 trips back and forth which was the staff fault by the way and the young lady who had my file she acted so clueless like she didn't know what she was doing even though I'm a regular donor....Worst experience ever on Central Ave!!!!!!!!! Never again will I return to this location and I wouldn't refer anyone to this location not anyone!!!!

Well one of the staff members follow rules and the others don't I couldn't donate cause of a 1 inch tattoo I got a year ago I waited for 3 hrs there juss to be told you have to wait but I got a tattoo last year in January and went to donate in June and they let me donate so whats the problem

I love the place it's very welcoming and feels like family they care bout there customers.

this is the best plasma center i have been to in charlotte. the staff are kind and you can tell your safety is their priority! dre is hot
