This location is so slow. It should not take 30 minutes to be screened alone. They only have one person screening, 98% of the time. If you don't have enough employees, then don't have that many slots open at the time. I shouldn't have to be here 2+ hours as a return donor. You get screened, all for them to tell you to take a seat until they call you. It should not take an hour just to be seated in the back. They don't have any organization at all. They tell you a seat all for someone to either already be in
Do not come unless you have 3+ hours to donate. Appointment at 10:15. Not even in a chair and it's 12:15. High turnover rate for employees. no sense of urgency. Used to not be like this. Tired of it. Close to last donation from me. Sorry. Not worth half of my day.
The customer service here is amazing! Raquel in particular has some of the best customer service I've ever seen! I had a mild reaction today but because of Raquel's quick thinking and positive attitude I came out of it rather quickly. Thank you for everything you guys do!!
Overall it's a good place. Most of the staff is nice and helpful. Although Raquel can be abrasive and rude. Facility is clean, and most of the time I'm in and out in a little over an hour.
Worst system ever. They schedule appointments only to see you hours later either way. If we are not seen at our "scheduled time" what's the purpose of the appointment. I wish they would fix this issue, that anyone cared !. Last time I got seen one hour and ten minutes later and today it's been 45 minutes already. I take 25 minutes donating. This is absolutely ridiculous!
This place really needs the get it together. If you open at 7 and schedule appointments as early as 7 why aren't you serving people at 7. The management in this place is a total joke that's why they are always HIRING. Blonde lady specifically up front, management. Can't even scan a QR code correctly to get someone in the que. Workers are great, management and efficiency suck. WHY are you calibrating your machines for the day, the day of after you've opened?! AGAIN NON EFFICIENT LOCATION. Then every donor ge
I had a very hard time finding somewhere to donate due to the fact I have many tattoos and one place to get me at. This place accepted me and has made it so convenient to come donate. I'm a hard stick but I always ask for Raquel. She is always so friendly and doesn't mind making sure I'm comfortable throughout the process. I highly recommend going to see her if you want to donate.
Great and wonderful experience! Employees are awesome. Judith is the most helpful and patient person I've met. Will refer anyone I can
I've been coming here for almost 3 years and besides the occasional worker really taking their day out on your arm and not caring, the place is pretty great!
Horrible experience they said walkins are available made us wait just so the lady in the back can say my vanes are in the red meaning she couldn't find my vane when you can clearly see them popping outta my skin they couldn't take my wife in because they didn't have a Spanish speaker but yet some lab tech comes and tell my wife she has to get out with the baby in Spanish I don't understand this place is a joke
Been sitting in the donation chair 30 minutes and they still haven't hooked me up they keep stopping with me and doing other stuff then coming back . If it's going to be like this il go somewhere else.
There are many standout employees at this particular office. I could write a paragraph listing each and every wonderful human being working here, and the heartwarming treatment that I've received over the years. But, I'll keep it about today's visit. Without going into details about personal reasons, I was having a very rough day coming into the appointment. While tension seemed visible amongst the staff, there were two stellar humans I'd like to acknowledge. Grace, thank you for your positive and enthusias
This Place Is Ran So Poorly Not Even Management Knows How To Manage It's Scary And Sad The Pride For Donors Is A Lie Today I Go In I Didn't Have An Appointment I Went In At 4:30 They Said They Could Get Me My Appointment 4:45 I Said Perfect It Was A Little Packed So I Was Patiently Waiting Mind Yoy My Appointment Was At 4:45 They Called Me To Do The Kiosk At 4:45 I Thought Everything Was Fine Then At 6:15 I Was Like Hey Whats Going n They Said Oh Wr Are So Sorry Somthing Happened And Its Like You Wrre Neve
I wanna take the time to say how great and understanding these people are here at the location. I'm a new donor and unfortunately I wasn't able to donate yesterday due to a reaction a client had, so I was turned down. But jessie one of the supervisor's was nice and polite about telling us the bad news. He was nice enough to compensate us with a lil coupon for my next day return.
So slow I been in here for 3 hours there's a hand full of people in here so I'm really just confused why their moving so slow and nobody in here ??2/10 don't recommend
Ellen is wonderful and super informative however Raquel is unfortunately not very personable :( I've only been 3 times and all 3 times she has made me feel poorly or loudly shamed me. This time she said my veins were awful and I made her job harder by coming back. I think the person sticking you with a needle shouldn't be so abrasive. I won't come back to this location
Very little wait time combined with excellent staff and makes for an ideal location
Jasmin is just fantastic as a worker doing the job as well as you can do it. She really stands out. Kimberly is also very good at everything she does. Stacy runs the office and deserves a lot of credit. I would have to admit that once 5pm hits, the office seems to be far more disorganized than during the day.
There awesome but there machines returns take me 2 plus hrs now,not including wait time to get connected.Staff is awesome just new rules make it difficult
I've been coming here for more that 6 months and I wanted to give my appreciation to Raquel for being so professional ,knowledgeable and just overall making me feel comfortable as she prepares me for my donation. Ask for her she knows what she is doing.!
The staff at this particular location was so very impressive! Every single employee that I encountered was courteous and professional. It was my first time donating and they walked me thru every step and they went absolutely above and beyond to make the experience as comforatable and easy as possible. I give them an A+ and I will go back and recommend to friends 100%.
I have been coming here for almost a year now and every time I make sure to request jasmin to do my stick..she ALWAYS has a great attitude and is incredibly knowledgeable, really makes me feel so comfortable and safe. Always enjoy seeing her bubbley personality and positive attitude!
I want to give a huge shout out to Judith she is amazing and a wonderful employee she really was extremely helpful during my whole procedure
I am a return donor to grifols since I moved here in September. Supposedly my veins are thin...they tagged me yellow. My experience here has been great with jasmine. She keeps everything under control in the back. She is so efficient. When I am set up by jasmine I sometimes don't even know the needle is in. She will be walking away giving me the pumping motion and I'm like your done? Everyone is seated upon arriving in the back and her personality is just so jovial she makes for a great donation! .
Raquel is seriously the best! She's been there since my first day over 2 years ago! She has been such a joy to see every week! She is so professional and always has a huge smile on her face! I am so happy to see her there when I come in! I feel like family there!!
12/14 its fluid, quick, professional. staff are fun, friendly welcoming and the atmosphere is peaceful. Angel made me feel like I was in good hands which makes me feel safe and comfortable with the donation process they really holding it down today
Half the time, I get really friendly service, like from Stacy or Jasmine, they are angels! The other half the time, the staff is rude as hell. Won't name names. If this place had consistently friendlier staff, I'd give it five stars.
I haven't had a bad experience everybody is awesome! they greet me and are always welcoming I would highly recommend thier clinic to anyone!!
I enjoy the staff who are prompt and professional but as a company this is annoying. The rules constantly change compared to other plasma centers, wait times are all over the place, they're getting rid of kiosks which means you NEED a smartphone to be a donor, and even some of the complimentary comfort things like WiFi and the TVs are being phased out. I've been donating between here, BPL, BioLife, and BioMat over the last 6 years and Grifols pays the most up front but visibly cares for donors the least. E
I used to love donating plasma at grifolds because the process was smooth and I was usually in and out. Starting this week they changed the process and now it's over an hour wait just to get screened. This makes me want to switch to donating at another place.
Not here for the money so that doesn't bother me. The place is clean and organized. Convenient app check in but if you come 10 min early you'll wait to be checked in. If you're 1 min late they'll definitely make sure you know it. And sometimes you may have to wait 30 minutes or more to start pumping. (Please value their time but yours, not so much) Most of the time most of the staff is nice but sometimes it feels like you're just a nuisance to their day. Overall it's ok I guess. It's getting worse, I'll be
The staff was extremely helpful and informative. The check in process was a breeze, the customer service was above and beyond and I was in and out in record time. I was nervous at first, but all the staff made me feel comfortable. I will definitely recommend to everyone I know.
So O get off work on Friday travel on bus north to northern from northern and 35 ave I ride my scooter. On the way there I almost had an accident. Finally get there and the center manger Josh I believe informed me I couldn't donate due I my blood pressure being high. I got so mad and cussed him out and yelled and all this time he understood what I was going though talked to me let me relax as he just talked to me and above all remind professional. Thank you and I am very very sorry. The guy with the scooter
This was my first experience donating at a plasma center. The center staff made this experience very pleasant and easy. Everyone from start to finish was friendly and helpful. Dylan did my intake and made the extensive process comfortable. He is very knowledgeable and answered my questions. Raquel did the plasma process and she was very kind and friendly. She also was very knowledgeable and I felt like this is a good center to donate. I appreciate the staff and their time.
I always have an exceptional visit the staff is amazing !!very kind and helpful they all do their job to the best of their ability and take pride in what they do I would highly recommend this center to anybody I know !!
Very clean place. Always have some kinda bonuses going on. The staff is easy to talk to and really friendly. Andy in the booth has a great attitude. Robert has an awesome sense of humor. Aly and Alexis made sure I was taken care of my entire visit.
Always have great customer service when donating. As long as you have an appointment, wait times are minimal. Andy one of the screeners always has a good attitude and gets me in and out quickly. The back gets me hooked up right away and unhooks me when I'm done so I can be on my way. Never had any issues with payment ( plus they always have good promotions to get more money). I would recommend this place for anyone wanting to donate!
I've been coming here to donate off and on for years now. The staff has always been great. Everybody is always very friendly, and they do their best to keep the wait as short as possible. In the time I have been donating here it has only ever improved. If you are considering donating, I would recommend it. It really is not a painful process, tedious more than anything, but they have movies on, and you can use your phone or bring a book, so it's not so bad. Shout out to Angie for her awesomeness and for poi
My last 2 visits they had only 1 screener most of the time, sometimes 2 screener's, this has caused me to wait between a hour fifteen & a hour and a half past my appointment time to be screened. I think anything over 20 minutes is too long. They didn't use to have this issue cuz I've been coming for more then 2yrs. If situation doesn't improve soon I will be looking to go elsewhere to donate because it's hardly worth spending 2?-3hrs of my time at the center for $40 especially if after waiting all the time
Way better than BioLife centers. I literally found no problems with the place. I actually had a problem with a guy next to me blaring his phone super loud but right when I made mention of it on this review One of the technicians came over and explained to the man that he could not have it up that loud. So I've edited this and given it the stars it deserved!
Nick Is graceful and caring, he always has a great attitude and is very good at his craft. He always makes me feel cared for. Thank you!
The best plasma center to donate! Always clean and fun. Chavely, Bianey and Tyler are courteous and friendly. Fun contests for bonuses. 3619
I am a current donor here, am here as I write this review. I normally have a pleasant visit when I come here, the staff are very nice and helpful, but the wait times are not good. I wanted to point out my impatience with this, however..I began this review irritated due to the fact that I had been waiting to be hooked to the machine for a longer than normal time. I was given to another employee to be hooked up because my person was called to another client. I was irritated. I need to slow my roll, though, b
I have been a plasma donor for over 20 years. I'm reaching my 70 birthday in October. Almost all my donations have been with this company. Talecris Plasma Center in my opinion and experience is the best. The center is very clean and everyone of the staff is friendly. Donating life saving plasma and receiving money for your time is win-win situation. My visits are twice weekly totaling up to 100 visits yearly. Health wise I have always felt great. The staff there have always made it a positive experience.
The talk guy rubber is the worst employee, Everytime I have to deal with him he is so rude and goes out of his way to make me wait. I have to request other people hook me up because this guy is out of control.
Today was my first day donating at this location. I was previously donating at one of their other locations in Phoenix. I would have to say that this place is not only more convenient and closer to my new home but the staff was extremely courteous and extremely professional. The restroom and entire facility was impressive. Very clean. And to top it off to have someone come up and greet me and thank me after my first donation and give me a gift and shake my hand and tell me thank you says a whole lot about t
I've been going to this location here at 51st and Northern on and off since they've opened and moved from the previous location on 59th for over a decade now. This location has the same wonderful, funny, and kind staff that worked at the older location but there are some new people and they're not too bad either but word of advice Don't upset them there is a lot more to the job and they are a lot busier than most think and they deal with a quite a bit of people that put them through a tremendous amount of s
Absolutely the best place to donate plasma. Check-in is super easy on the app, wait times are low, and the employees are phenomenal. 10/10 Jasmine is absolutely the best of the best. She is super quick to get you set up, makes the sticks not hurt as much, and frankly, her personality is phenomenal. She just can't be beat.
I have been donating at Talecris for almost 3 years. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. Raquel has been training new employees. Whenever Raquel is working when I go to donate, I will request her to stick me. She is very experienced and professional. She knows how to deal with scar tissue which I have in my left arm. Totally enjoy visiting with her when I'm there.
Seem as though I had NO CHOICE to speak up to get Through the problems of donating here.As of November and December the company have been better then previous months .Thank s Grifols
Everyone here is super friendly and awesome. Been going here for months and have had no issues yet, everyone is professional despite the occasional difficult donator. Jess, Robert, and Brittany all stand out as people who seem to love what they do and are my preferred phlebotomists! The place is always spotless clean, always a decent or good movie on, vending machines are fully stocked with good choices (though $3 for a juice is ridiculous). The entire process is quick as well and I've never felt like I've
So this is one of the best plasma centers around. Not only do they treat you with respect, but they truly do care. My husband's first-time donating and he got so sick, he said that if it weren't for the nurse he probably wouldn't have made it through. However if you're not donating anything and you're just there for support for a loved one, well let's just say you don't get the same treatment. Also they do not allow your loved ones to wait for you in the waiting room during the process. So I recommend comi
All the workers are very nice & enthusiast, but I look forward to seeing Raquel!! Her presence is inviting & I love hearing her train others. She's always optimistic, even if she's not in an optimistic mood. I wanna hug her every time I see her!!
Raquel is an amazing employee. She is very informative, gentle and a genuinely kind person. She always makes sure I know everything I can do to make my experience it's best. She definitely shows pride in her job and cares for her donors.
Chavely is the bees knees. Anna on the otherhand cannot keep a conversation going The manager James Stewart is super nice. Like super honest. Never had a bad experience with their reception staff. Bathrooms are super clean. Vending machine almost always stocked. Payment is a little too much at points due to happy hour. Just sad to see the water fountains aren't available yet.
I would like to acknowledge Ms. Raquel and all of her hard work at the center. She is such a great people?s person and always smiling and enthusiastic about her work. She makes sure your comfortable and have a great experience each and every time!
I've always liked this location due to their employees. They have good communication with you & each other i have never had any problems with this location. Their pretty fast & make it so easy for you 2 come again. I have always told people I work with about this location so they can have the same experience I always had with you guys. A very nice friendly & clean location!! Thank You!??
I loved Ashley she's a very sweet, and caring person. I love how she asks you about how your day is or just how your doing. She's always so happy, positive, and very helpful. Need more positive people like her! (: Also she has great customer service skills!
Hey it was my only 2 nd time n jasmin the lead was AMAZING Make sure I was comfortable making sure I had everything that was required was very nice and sweet and uplifting. She makes me feel comfortable to come back and know that I am in good hands well taken care of.
Staff is professional. But letting so many people schedule is unfair to employees working and it's also unfair to the consumer. I come in here and half my time is spent waiting. I'm sitting here waiting now writing this review. If I schedule an appointment my flow through the facility should be seamless.
They Are Rude and Have Strage Reasons Why You Can't DonateThey get Other Clients Plasma Mixed Up With Others they Are Not Carful they Do Not know how to talk to People Staff Are so Rude Treat there Black Clients like there Trash wow I was Shocked how Staff Treated Clients there,They Don't Want to Pay,I Saw a Staff Get Clients Plasma Switched,I Do Not Recommend This Place
No issues for a couple months, but when I had referred a couple people, they said I "was out of range" and couldn't come back. I asked what they meant by that and they claimed they couldn't tell me. So they were able to avoid paying any referral bonuses and I was not able to return.
I've been coming to donate for a little bit now & have had a great experience. The staff is always welcoming and attendant of donors. Some of my favorite employees are Raquel, Kim, Bianey & Dylan .
I really love this location!! All the staff are friendly and very respectful..I would like to personally mention MJ today, she was so joyful and she's always singing! When i leave her booth i definitely have a smile on my face! Thank you all for all your hard work and smiling faces!! I always enjoy my visit..
Been donating here for quite sometime. Just had epidural done and nowhere on there checklist are the drugs given to me or anything about epidurals. Now because I let them know they are making a big deal about the whole thing. This happened months ago yet they are making it a bigger deal than what it is. Maybe I should of kept shut.
This review is for Raquel. She is great at her specialty. Makes you feel very welcome and she has a great conversations that comes along with a matching personality. If she can not find a vain she will not stick you just to save you the pain of getting poked many times. Raquel is great! And goes above and beyond. It is more than just a job for her. And you can tell.
( UPDATE: I had to take away another star because this is the 2nd time I showed up early and get seen late. People with appointments after me went before me and it's very frustrating.) ORIGINAL REVIEW: The payout is good but the my first day there the power went out and I had to wait 24 hours to get my pay. The 2nd time I had a appointment for 1pm. I arrived at 12:15pm and wasn't seen until 1:45. I come early and still got seen late. I don't understand why have appointments if that's not the time you will b
It's my birthday theyvhad me moving around room to room with appt time set at 6:15am to not being seen until 7am and plugged in until 730 just to be told when I completed my donation they are not doing the birthday award for the month of September. Terrible. But the staffing is nice so I can't be too upset.
I have been coming here on and off for 4 years. The appointment system is awesome! Makes the process go so fast! I have very difficult veins and they have always been understanding and helpful with no issues. I wouldn't go anywhere else! Curtis and front desk ladies are amazing! Thanks guys!
I've been coming here for 4 years now. Just wanted to point out what a wonderful job Raquel always does with my donation. She's an amazing employee and we are always talking about my schooling.
Overall the the facility runs very smoothly and efficiently. It's always been clean when I've been there. And of course a couple of the staff members could use an attitude adjustment... Meaning they need to take customer service skills training due to their unprofessionalism and out and out rudeness and backstabbing to donors. If you have to disrespect and say rude derogatory things about a donor at least do it out of earshot of other donors.. that's the only thing I have encountered negative about the faci
i love nick he's so sweet and he knows exactly what to do and how to do it, every single time ???? he really makes my plasma experience soooo much better he makes me want to keep coming back ??
This donation center is absolutely the best in the valley hands down. They are fast, friendly, and very professional. Lex is legitimately the most amazing person and she really makes you feel welcome and comfortable during the duration of your donation.
Abdolutely horrible experience. Everytime I go to this place. Its always something. Last time I was here, I was pricked incorrectly (again) n bruised for over a week. Seems like they are constantly hiring n theyre in training. Yesterday I unfortunetly decided to give them another shot. Starting off not too bad of a waiting process. However, once I was walked to the back, the young lady who assisted me had me take a seat. Im not sure if she had something against me or what the problem was but I watched 3 peo
Some people here are nice. However the last time I went I was yelled at by three separate people about the food I choose to eat. It was embarrassing and really felt like fat shamming. Whats more interesting is that they had to adjust the needle twice. Which means it wasn't all just my food choices that causes draw issues. I don't know if I want to go back. I feel uncomfortable to donate again.
I have experience donating at BioLife as well as grifols, and I do like this location and the people that work there but the only issue is,and I feel is a big issue... Is that the cloth blood pressure wraps that they use on people's arms are not being sanitized properly so the odor that comes from these arm wraps are atrocious.. I've I've tried to notify management of this but nothing seems to be getting done.. It's very unsanitary and I feel like if BioLife can have plastic blood pressure wraps why can't t
They are very nice and extremely professional. Kelly, Jas, Dylan and Patrick are personal favorites. Everyone from top management to new hires are always the best. Thanks y?all
I USED to like them. I donated there for years. I was permanently deferred because I wore a lipring in one day to a piercing ive had since highschool that never closed. Some how they said I marked the piercing as "closed" even though Year after year i got physicals there, and year after year i always told them about how my piercing was always open. THEY made a mistake and instead of looking into it, or seeing thay they're making a mistake they deferred me permanently that day no questions asked. So treat ev
I will not be referring anyone to this place because they make you jump thru hoops for the $50 referral reward. I was told multiple excuses as to why they didn't give me the reward that they never mentioned in the beginning. I even called the corporate number, was given a case number on 05/05/23 and was told they were going to give me a call back regarding the issue and never did.
The staff are prompt, efficient and kind. Didn't have to wait overly long time and my trut here was as ideal as one could wish. I would also like to thank MJ, who screened me. She was capable and quick. Made my experience altogether pleasant.
Great Place to donate!!! Love the staff!!! Alicia, Azyadet, Eva, Jasmine, Robert & the rest of the staff really make me feel Welcome & are really Appreciative!!! I'm not just a number here, they know everyone by name. Been coming here for years!!!
From my first visit the staff has always been extremely friendly! The process is quick and easy and the facility is clean. They have movies playing while you wait and the donation chairs are comfortable. I get cold easily so I choose to bring a blanket, I recommend bringing a small one with you on your visit. If you do not have a friend reference please use my name :) I would greatly appreciate it. FWI - I want to add after reading other comments - My first visit I was here for 3 hours but that included a
They do pick up their phone. I called several times and got an answer. The first time I went in there they were actually really busy and they told me to come back in 2 hours if I had something to do which I thought was really nice of them. I mean it was pretty easy for me I thought they were very nice to me I didn't feel just like a number let me not talk to every person that I went to and we had side conversations about different things that happened in our lives. If you would like you can use my name as a
I have been coming here since December of 2018,this place has gone from fantastic to unbelievable! They no longer care about a person's time. Why schedule an appointment when they have you wait 30 minutes just to get on the kiosk? My time is valuable,I have a job to go to can't be sitting waiting till it's convenient for staff to do their job.
You guys say your workers are amazing well the person that I was dealt with lacks hospitality. Tried having conversation with Kendall and she talked back with attitude. You need to put your workers in check she didn't even seem she was fully there more like under the influence while working which is not acceptable at all. You need to realize who you hire this puts a bad rep to your work area.
After my donation today I decided to leave a review. Not of the center, or the company or even my overall experience. I want to review the Donor Center Tech, that evaluated me before my donation today. Her name is MJ and she was great all around. Many others have been good, but only a few have been great. She was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. You could tell she actually liked her job, most people you get the opposite. Thank you MJ!
Horrible service. Why do I need my Social security card to donate???. Please bring people who like working here because them dudes looked like they don't. I'm a traveler but if I lived in Phoenix I would take my time and blood somewhere else.
On 9/2/15 I came to this location. This was my first time donating. I was not given much info at sign in @ 3:58pm. They didn't call me up to the window until 7pm and this was after my 3rd time going up to ask what was taking so long. At this point they gave me a tablet to watch a video and a booklet to read over. After this was done I sat for another hour and some. I was called up for physical the lady who did that for me was nice and explained everything to me that should of been explained up front. After
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
