This place is different then the others my visit has been ok it hasn't been pleasant but things did work out. My first time coming was the same as usual as other places Physical & starting the process. I noticed that they have less staff after coming here for less than a month. I came in the other day and they have a sign in the front desk ? Maintain a 10 min wait? I waited for 40 mins just so I can schedule an appointment. Besides that the place is clean & the staff is above & beyond. Latasha was the firs
This is one of the nicest plasma donation centers I've been to! Staff is extremely friendly and it was very clean. I will be coming here again! Excellent customer service!!
This place is an absolute joke. I've donated for 7 years and this is now my 3 center. I just started coming here about a month ago. I came here because I've moved and this is the closest one to me (Lebanon). Everything is done by paper which takes absolutely forever!! I was given a pass my first donation to skip the line. I used it my 3rd donation and I sat in the waiting area while tons of people went before me. I asked multiple times what the point in the pass was if I continued to get skipped. I was told
I've only donated in the morning: however it is the least stressful place yet. Few people waiting, if any. The nurses are always ready to work. Honestly the first donation bank I have been to where you're not treated like an inmate. (I was one, so no judgement). All around, I'm happy to have this place to help with my grocery bills, etc.
I signed up as a new donor in late March 2024 and was told I would get $100 for each of my first four donations. Now after donating four times, I checked and saw I only got the $100 for two donations then down to the return donor compensation for the others. I was misled either intentionally or due to a lack of proper knowledge of the situation by the staff. Edit: I called the toll free number supplied with the response from the center. The payment issues was rectified in a timely manner. Therefore I have
I hadn't donated in 45 years and needless to say, the process has changed quite a bit! The wait was longer than I planned but that was because there was only one nurse on site that day. But once I started through the screening process everyone was super nice and patiently guided me through the steps. I just want to say thanks to all the ladies that made my second ?first? experience a great one! ??
I'll start by saying the staff is super kind, funny and they're a delight to chat with! They have one of the best new donor payouts I've ever seen with plenty of bonus opportunities. The problem is that you have to go through the trouble of setting an appointment with a 15 minute window and if you miss your window, you have to reschedule and there may not be another open appointment slot. I was 20 minutes late from work, missed my appointment and when I tried to set another, it was all booked out for the ev
I have never donated in my life, I hate hospitals & needles ??. I came here because a friend of mine worked here and told.me about a payout "who doesn't like extra money" I do wait a bit each time no complaint but I understand! I have never had 1 rude person here since I started 3 weeks ago! All the ladies & men are very nice here. I was completely new and they made me feel good and comfortable and not like a idiot. I been drinking a ton of water and eating healthier so my draws now are super fast! All t
The ONLY reason for my one star & not coming to donate at this particular location anymore is cause of one old annoying & rude AA lady named Latoya or Latosha something like that with huge glasses that works here. She been giving me problems every time I step foot in this place since 2022. It literally took me a year to donate here even while being able to donate at other locations. This person act like I'm doing her a favor by coming in like you work here I don't so if u don't like your job then LEAVEEEEE.
Staff is always friendly and helpful. I've had issues in the past getting paid before but mostly that's because of bonuses and such resulting in higher than normal payouts and approval is needed for the payout. Typically I'm paid within an hour of donating no matter the circumstances. If your a brand new donor... be prepared for a wait, it takes a while for a new screening to get completed. When I first started donating here a couple years ago, there was less communication and everything was done via pape
Went to go donate at 6pm and had an appointment and didn't go back till after almost 7pm when they close, they want to blame it on short staff for long wait times but it's not just them, it's an everywhere thing with staffing. They need to get it together. Shouldn't take an hour to poke someones arm and draw plasma. Terrible terrible terrible.....
I will not be back! I was under the impression that I would received a certain amount for my second donation for the week. But I didnt receive it because of the way they do their days of the week, even though my donations were days apart?? I wasted my time today and if I had known that I wasn't gonna be compensated correctly, I wouldn't have come back the second time this week.
The facility there is neat, clean and organized. Staff members are respectful, nice ,caring and friendly. On my bad day they seem to always put a smile on my face. Mrs. Latasha is the BEST. She answers and helps me with whatever question or problem I have quickly lol.And they get u in and out. Melvin, Chris, Mrs. Rachel and Latoya thanks for being patient with me. U guys are the BEST. Love u guys.
Came in to try to donate plasma as a returning donor tonight. Waited about a good hour after checking in. There were people saying they had been there for more than an hour and a half before me. People came in a little before 7 and they were turned away because the facility was understaffed as per one of the folks doing kiosk interviews. After waiting until 7:15 I decided to go home. (I checked in around 6pm). I will try again on another day but you may have to wait a long time on some nights. Really disa
The place was clean and most of the staff were friendly except one of the nurses that do the physicals. She acted like she was rushing to get home when the place just open. Called them the day before to find out all I need and what the procedure is they didn't tell me I had to piss as well so when I got there and couldn't piss the same lady was so ready to kick me out without letting me drink water or give me a chance. Thankfully one of the other staff members was nice enough to give me more time. Other tha
I waited 20 minutes past my time. Took my blood pressure and it was high. Waited another 15 minutes and barely missed it. So I got one day deferral. Time is limited and I can't be doing stuff like that! So I waisted my time. Never had this problem before. I may not be back! The same thing happened so I wonder if I could donate at another place!
Staff is friendly but management needs to learn how to adequately staff a facility to meet demand. 3 hour return donor visits is ridiculous. Way understaffed yet everyone has time to talk and screw around. Will never be back to this poorly run center. Deferred myself my last 2 visits after waiting over 2 hours to even get to the donor floor.
The staff is super friendly, yes the wait is a bit long for return donors and if you get there before they open and stand in the line you think it will go quickly.... but VIP donors get there right as they open and get in and out before anyone else. I think they should have a limit on how many vips can be seen at once. I find it relaxing to donate I also love the fact that I am helping people ?? if you have a time, patience, and passion to help others you should definitely donate here!!??
Ive only donated a few times, but coming here for it was a mistake. Not all of the staff is bad at their jobs but some of the people there dont know how to do their job. I got bruises because someone stuck the neddle in my arm too far, then i get stuck in my other arm, and they didnt even tape me correctly and blood started pumping out my arm all over me. Some of these workers need some serious training and it show. I didnt eve get paid half fo being bruised and stuck bot once but 3 times. Ridiculous.
If I could give zero stars I would. Poorly trained staff, I witnessed several blow outs while waiting to be serviced and lab coats covered in blood. Recently donated on a Saturday and thank goodness I had someone with a little bit of experience. But for some reason my payment has not gone through after three days. I agree that some of the staff openly treat their donors with contempt.
If i could give this place zero stars i absolutley would. The staff is an absolute joke. They have some good ones but they are few and far between. The management at Mcdonald's is better than this place. They let any trash off the street donate but if you look respectful and are polite they are rude and will refuse to help. My second time donating they stuck me and missed my vein completely and i had a bruise for 2 weeks. The new cards are a disgrace that charge you a 2.25 fee whenever you use them at Walm
I couldn't be happier with the customer service and speed at this facility! I had a bad experience at another plasma center and wasn't sure if I wanted to try donating ever again. After calling Talecris and speaking with the nurse, I knew I would be in good hands here. I'm actually looking forward to my next donation!
I been waiting In the new patient around for an hour . But as soon as another new donor walks in he goes straight back to the back ! Definitely do not recommend this place , very unorganized, very unprofessional. Won't donate for this company agian Z I definitely walked out cus if that's how your treating people you not bouta put no needle in my arm .
Certain periods of the day there can be a long wait but I've been going around a yea now twice a week and I love it. Great people working there, lots of perks/ benefits/ give away. Plenty of entertainment to keep you busy whether it be free WiFi or the flat screens with cable they have to watch (or the conversation from so many diverse people lol). Plus they bumped the referral bonus up to $50 used to be $25. So tell people and let's make money spread the wealth and save lives. Can't beat Making money and
This the worst place to ever go. The employees act like they r better then the people donating. They stuck my boyfriend 3 times and still didn't get it right. He got very upset and left. The guy said he want going to pay him for his time or anything else. Because they have people working for them that don't know What they are doing. Very wrong.
First off, I am charlotte's son DAMYON LEE BEAMS. I have been twice so far and I have had a great experience both times. In my return I even forgot to flash my vip card and waited and I was still in and out 1.5 hours. Most of all they helped me over come my fear of needles, give to experimentation and med manufacturing, and I plan to go tomorrow as well, pay was on the card for my time and consideration much quicker than I was told it would be. On the donor floor ask for Del as your one to do the needle wor
Absolute WORST plasma center in Indianapolis. Staff are very very rude, too busy talking to each other, ignore clients, long wait times. Told my blood pressure was too high to donate, left there and went to Plasma Center on Lafayette Road and blood pressure and protein level were both perfect....hmmm????... imagine that??? In 10 minutes my blood pressure and protein level miraculously corrected themselves????...Would not recommend.... no wonder the place was empty..two people in waiting area.
At 1st I loved this location. The people were nice and they actually paid attention to you and what they were doin but since I've been back there's so much that has changed (some good nd some bad). They seem to be unorganized and don't really pay attention to what they're doing. Instead of making sure they're doin their job properly they just doing everything quick to get people out the way and out the door and that's not good at all.
Tall black female came in the roll Where I Was supposed to be doing my physical. She thought she knew what was going on in my situation so she gave her Incorrect and rude input. And if she is a manager she has zero management skills. They need a more level-headed person to take care of donors instead of a quick to act but slow to think disrespectful and ignorant person that they currently have. True meaning of giving someone an inch and they taking it and go a mile lmao just because you know a lot doesn't m
If you haven't been for six months or more, there's been a lot of change. There's more staff, so it doesn't take as long. There's free giveaways each month. The staff has changed over, so friendlier, for the most part too.
I have been calling over and over again to donate as a new donor. They never ever answer the phone and I don't want to just show up and not be seen. Hire someone to answer the phone my goodness.
The wait times are hit or miss. Sometimes I'm in and out in an a bit over an hour, other times it's three hours. The place is clean, they follow good sanitation, and most of the staff are friendly. However sometimes it shows when they're overworked and they get frustrated.
Best donation center I have been to very friendly staff and very clean and they have been able to get me stuck on the first try ever time will. Be telling all of my friends to come here
I go here regularly and this place is pretty clean and simple for the most part . If the employees are having a long bad day , your experience won't be that great . But other than that . The waiting hours differ , you could be waiting 30 minutes or a hour , depending on the staff.
Great staff and the process wasn't that bad. The reason they get 4 stars because they didn't pay me. I waited 15 mins like they said he no money. If it's not there tomorrow by the time I get off work I will go to the center and figure out what the problem is
I came to wait on a friend. The place was empty. A rude lady that worked there heavy set with short reddish color hair told me I had to leave and I can wait outside. I thought this place was trying to help others with a life saving plasma. Doesn't have much to do with them being nice.
Do not go here unless you want to be treated as less than. They definitely are not accommodating in the same way others are and they treat you like trash. I like Biolife on Rockville Rd. They treat you like what you are doing matters.
The Staff is very nice and professional. The facility is clean..I've been going to this center for one month now and enjoy seeing my regular techs who know me and my fianc? if one of us isn't in they ask if we're ok ... The little things matter most
Most of the staff is friendly and quick. Do kinda get the feeling they move us thru like cattle. But to be expected in a high volume atmosphere. Overall good experience.
Staff is friendly, but no where on their website does it say that you have to have a home address within 40 miles. And they do accept college schools if you live on campus. They will not accept any other school that houses you in a nearby hotel.
I came here to donate and dude to one of my medications I could not donate they won't even allow me to stay in the building while my niece donate I will give this place a zero if I could and they also flag me for five years so I will not be able to donate for five years
My hubby hadnt donated in like 14 yrs and just recently started going to this center. Says staff is so nice & place is cleaner than any other center hes ever seen. Also has great bonus programs
I was overlooked my second time coming and for that I would give it less stars but the staff in my opinion are very nice and they got me out the way. I now love donating knowing it's helping people in need.
I always have the best experience. It's ALWAYS clean and the staff is by far the friendliest I have seen.
I have been calling for three days to see what all I needed to donate but no one ever answered! So I went up there with what I thought I needed but they only take the first 10 new ppl a day. If someone would have answered the phone I would have known that! A waste of my time!!
REJECTED because i have MS. In the USA people with MS can donate plasma. The Red Cross states as of 2007 the ban was lifted after scientific studies showed it's not transferable. Our state is in dire need and people who are perfect donors are being turned away because Talecris isn't "up to date" with their standards. Why give to a plasma center thats still living pre-2007? ALL my friends and family are changing centers.
Staff are so helpful really nice people I went on labor day and they was already closed when I got there but they still was willing to let me donate they unlocked the door for me and told me to come in and get on the kiosk I already told my ride to come get me so I didn't donate that day but they was really nice for trying to let me still thank you talecris plasma
Donated for several months, clean environment and friendly staff, I always was paid on time. Most of the negative reviews on here are from angry people in general, waiting to get basically free money can be part of the process.
Have only came here twice but each time they are super nice and friendly my fianc? used to come here years ago and said it has definitely improved from them to now staff members told us that they have new owners who came in and redid everything They use a money card now to upload your donation money and for a first time comer it took less than 2 hours even though they were packed and it was mid day definitely will keep coming back here Their pay starts at 50$ then 75$ then aother 75$ and they also give you
If you go here, request that Nick or Alisha be your phlebotomist. I had no problems with either of them. My boyfriend, on the other hand, had an Indian man as his phlebotomist, and he completely missed his vein causing him to bruise severely.
Friendly staff but could definitely use some work on there system with me donors and scheduled returning donors.
They are fast ,friendly, and courteous. They know your name when you walk through the door and they make you as comfortable as possible through the entire process. This is an excellent company.
need to go a little bit quicker with the waiting process get more staff have refreshments to offer in case noone has eaten anything no appts during week bt on weekends make appt and go by the time answer the phone and dont ignore it ive seen that plenty of times offer more money than 20 were giving u our plasma so an example 30 or up , gift cards etc , think outside the box to have your customers come back , have daily specials or etc think about the ones who cant come donate during the week and only the we
Very nice staff but whole process time for return donors is ridiculous, 4-5 hrs. and now u can't go on the weekend without an appointment smh driving clients away.
Every week it's a different procedure. Office staff are hateful and angry acting. Just heard one tell a caller " I don't got no time to be answering questions. If you wanna know something you need to bring yourself here".
Great staff and the wait time is excellent. I enjoy donating here. They make it so easy ??
THE staff has been friendly and genuinely concerned that donors have a good experience. I plan for on donating on a regular basis.
The staff here is AMAZING!!! They always take care of their clients. I recommend donating here for sure!!
My first time back in 3 years and people are friendly and helpful. And love the new changes they made. Nice seeing some old faces too.
Wish I could give no stars. The staff is horrible. They won't answer the phone, and I've watched from the waiting area how they stand around chatting, ignoring the phone ringing off the hook. Hire better staff!!!!
This place makes you have an appointment, yet you get here and it's packed and you're waiting an hour plus to donate. Wondering why even have to make an appt if they can't honor it. ??
Ever since they got rid of the appointments the wait time has increased drastically. I'm done donating plasma, I just don't have the time any more.
This is a Very clean n healthy responsible place & environment to help need others as well as grow in your life plans. GOD BLESS
It's a nice place I love they staff I love everything about this place don't have any problems just don't like how they took the chairs away and that they don't do the goodie bags any more
DO NOT DONATE AT GRIFOLS.they give you money but take it right back from you with the outrageous charges from that damn pre-paid card.SMH GRIFOLS is a pos for that.
Number given on website dose not get a human it just recycles you and ask you to push 0 and just dose it all over again how can u request a weekend appointment it no one picks up really helpful let me tell you
This Place is RIDICULOUSLY SLOW, we have to wait like 5 hours just to be seen. They Staff are unorganized & all they do it talk amongst each other.
Staff is very friendly and appreciative,as they tell me without us there would be no them.A great way to give back.
Went there yesterday the machine messed up and said my temperature was like a hundred and two so they retook it was 100.5 so they told me to come back tomorrow when I got home and took my temperature I did not have a temperature and today before I went and I took my temperature in multiple times and was fine so I went in today and they told me I was deferred for 2 weeks because my temperature was 100.5 which they did not tell me yesterday so I ended up wasting two days worth of gas going up to the location
I have always been treated very nicely there and all of the employees are friendly and professional.
Great service, am a new donor there and absolutely prefer Talecris over CSL ANY day! Go to hell CSL lol fr though
Kool lil place if you need some $ and love helping others in need
They have very bad service they are very slow i was in the 3 hours befor i even got screened and if i call to make a appointment i press 0 to talk to someone to make a appointment and then it takes me back to main menu wost in plasma center ever!!
This location is completely understaffed and that what takes a long time I've only had one rude person other than that everyone else has been nice
I got here at 4:30 they close at 6:00 and they wouldn't let me donate so bow im gonna be behind on my car payment ,and someones not getting my plasma
Just go to a temp agency you'll make more money They keep you for hours and after he 5th donation they only pay out like 20 bucks LOL
I actually like this new appointment system. Still would like the option to just walk in though.
Always waiting an hour or two before donating, half of the donation chairs are always empty, understaffed, and the staff that is here takes their time
I went up there and went through the whole thing for the lady to push on my rib and make me jump and she swore something was swollen I went to the emergency room nothings wrong with me they won't let me donate because the doctor forgot to circle yes but signed the paper ??it is their fault that I'm going through this
Takes about 3 hours and pays very little the only good thing is somewhat friendly staff
Trash....rude...inconsiderate of your time and everyone seems to hate their job....definitely would not recommend!!!!!
Professional staff make it a pleasant experience & knowing that this benefits the health and lives of others is very rewarding!
This place is Amazing, the ladies and gentleman there work very hard and do a great job. Keep up the good work
They called and said I had a 75$ bonus and I show up they tell me I don't actually get it . Don't trust these people !
This place is ridiculous I waited two hours to get a physical for a new donner while watching 3 people go in front of me that came in after me very let down.
my experience was pleasant and the staff were very nice
They were very fast and professional today Good job
Do not go here, they have terrible customer service .
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
