Great people, great place, but they need better equipment to work with

This place is terrible I have been here 2 hours already and someone comes in and instantly gets seen before me! I'm so agrvated these sloppy people need to get it together and rude is an understatement! Do not come here

I've donated a couple of times they always use my right arm well I went last Thursday they stuck my right arm the attendant was clowning around my blood clotted arm swoll immediately she took forever to come remove the needle and blood pressure cup off my arm it started bruising three hours later I went to the urgent care they said it's normal I've never bruised like this before ever okay well today makes day 6 I've been to 2 ers and they are telling me this is normal it's not I'm in pain my fingers and arm

I hadn't donated in a while and I wanted to make sure if I had to be there at a certain time, I called to make sure, the lady said 12:30pm, I get there on time, the rudest lady in the facility says ?No more today, 12:00pm? and I say ?Oh, the lady on the phone told me 12:30pm? and she said ?Nope, no more today.? This place, ever since I started coming about a year ago, has always been super disorganized, with the most unfriendly staff you're ever going to meet. I would go somewhere else if I was you.

Sure the wait was a bit long, but I technically made more money for my time then what my job pays. Staff was okay, only one question was thrown back at me the same way I asked which is fine, I don't expect everyone to have all the answers

The staff are friendly, kind and understanding. I like having the ability to request certain staff. The new changes to check-in are more efficient and reduce lines outside. You can't please everyone so take negative reviews with a grain of salt.

I've been coming here for a few years and my experience is always 5 stars! The widgets are always nice and explain extensively why if an being deferred! I am very glad I can always come here to see the friendly workers and earn a few dollars for the road as well!

I just started donating here and I love it, the staff is always friendly. The staff gets along very well with the donors, it has a very nice friendly atmosphere. It's always quick service when I go there, I've never been there but less than one hour and thirty minutes (besides my first time). Great place to make quick cash.

Came here 4 yrs ago. Since then been terrified to donate again due to being forgotten on the chair for 2 hrs. A random nurse disconnected me since I was seeing stars. My sister says she always received good service when she goes though. She goes on weekday afternoons and I went on a Saturday morning.

In addition to my initial complaint comes a question: how come whenever our payment is delayed due to them not putting it on, even after thirty or so minutes, you can barely get someone to answer the phone? And if you are fortunate enough for them to answer, you get the run-around. I get that the staff are employees, but y'all have to understand that people need their fair payment just as much as y'all need our donations. I am ever so grateful to be able to donate at this facility. The staff treat me like VIP & go out there way to ensure I'm comfortable each visit. I feel good knowing I matter even when they tired and agg from a long day and are happy I am there.

These folks are slow, disorganized, and disrespectful while demanding respect in turn. In the past month alone, I have been turned away for wearing sweatpants while watching donors get let in wearing leggings and sweatpants themselves. the lines have grown unacceptably long and slow. This is from one stick. The left side is where they went in, the right 2 poke marks are from where they were trying to get to the vein but almost went through the other side . I have generally ok experiences here, but when an inexperienced poker tried to poke me, it obviously didn't go that well. The staff here is fantastic!! Yes, the wait can be very long sometimes but that is not the staffs fault. When you have 20 donors waiting and only 3 nurses screening it will take a while. I have seen them hustling trying to get to all the donors, but there is only so much they can do... Staff talk to each other the entire time instead of the clients, or talk with clients they know for lengthy periods while ignoring other clients. Been donating for over 10 years. The workers are friendly and polite. I sometimes go not just for the money but the conversations and laughter. It's a great place with great people. They pay really good if you go often enough. I've already made close to $1000 dollars with them, plus you get to help save lives so that's always nice to think about. Overall, great place.

Waited a real long tome. I showed up at 6am for them to tell me to come back in 2 hours after driving 30 miles to get there. Then waited 2 hours to see the screening in. I feel taken advantage of. What a disgrace. I wasted 60 miles of drive time and didn't even donate . I left after 4 hours of wasted time. Skipped the full screening.

The blonde tall girl, i dont know her name, Working at the desk in the back, The meanest, Most disrespectful worker in the building, she obviously is having troubles w her life and decides to project her feelings onto others, She slammed open the sliding door telling me to give her my name in such a rude tone, and proceeded to tell me to get away from her desk because my coupon code was invalid and slammed the door in my face

To me they are awesome. Only one time I almost passed out and they all came with icepacks and water to make sure I was okay.. The workers are very friendly and kind and always ask if u okay during the donation. But everybody have their own opinion.

The day after I posted this reivew I received a call from the manager of Talecris. Unfortunately, I was driving to work and was not able to accept the call. This place has the WORST staff. They are constantly changing the rules of this place. Like at one point it's if you sign in you can't leave. Now people sign in and come in and out of the place constantly. Then it was you sign in and go to the kiosk to take the 26 question test. But now it's when they call you to go in. On most days it's not a long wait time lately it's been a long wait time even if you are not a New donor I still go from time to time if it's a lot of people I won't stay there's to many viruses going around the world to be piled up in a small building with person's of the unknown nature... One false positive , banned for life. This is bad policy. Don't get vaccinated to go overseas in military an give blood, because you will fall in to this category, There is a forgiveness program going on an these people are above that. Shallow minded

went twice to donate. called ahead and asked for an appointment. got told it's walk in only. walked in. no new donors. tried again 2 days later. NO NEW DONORS. wish they would say this before you drive 50+ minutes to get there.

Fantastic place, I'm always treated with care and patience and I'm rarely ever there for too long. Great and kind staff that can make you laugh at the drop of a dime. The payout is worth it

While an easy way to make money, be prepared to be treated rudely. Sure some of the workers are friendly it seems most just don't want to me there. I've seen a person begging for help while the workers just ignore them and continue to talk amougest themselves. Make sure you eat and drink plenty before going there because they won't help you if you start to get sick or light headed from donating.

Went through the whole process of a new donor and got denied at the end cause of a test that the lady told me all my answers were wrong, so I changed them and they were still ?wrong?. The lady then told me that I would have to start from the beginning and redo paperwork and all mind you I had been in there a total of 3 hours waiting and got denied right before sending me to the back. She was absolutely rude and disrespectful!

Won't answer the phone and was refused as a first time doner without prior knowledge of special times for first timers. Arrived at 12:22 and was refused to donate despite them being open until 3 pm. Never going back.

I've been trying to call this place for MONTHS. Never have they ONCE answered the phone. There was only 6 people besides me in there, yet it was gonna take hours for me to be seen? And with that being said, why can't they answer their phones? Awful service. Awful place. Also, make sure you have every form of identification under the sun so you don't waste your time.

This place is a complete fiasco first of all after taking a friend up there to donate spending 3 hours him coming out with both of his arms poked all up they tried to blame him for their inability to perform their jobs and paid him five whole dollars for the sample he provided they're incompetent at best I set there for 3 hours watching people come out of that place complaining about the same thing person after person nobody come out with a smile on their face talking about anything good

The location is easy to find with plenty of parking. Mornings are best time to donate and the staff is really welcoming. I've had a great experience with them answering questions and hearing my concerns.

Blood pressure machine in booth 5 always codes out and never reads my pressure, literally every time. When I asked why this machine is the only one that codes out, they say it's because of a faulty cuff. And they refuse to take your pressure on a different machine. I've been deferred multiple times due to this and it isn't fair at all. How is it my fault that your cuff isn't up to par?

They had me spend 2 hours jumping through their hoops before they took my blood pressure and heart rate. My heart rate was over 100 beats per minute which disqualified me from donating. They get paid by the hour and DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE YOU SPENT in their center. It's quite obviously to me the blood pressure and heart rate test would be THE FIRST THING they would do so HOURS of YOUR TIME would not be WASTED doing all shorts of things that turn out to be USELESS because of a high hate rate. Great place, walk ins always welcomed, for referals you get an extra $50 after there 2nd donation, you get $50 your first and $75 your second, almost everyone can do it. It takes some time if you are new, just the first time you go, but after it is a breeze.
