Great people, great place, but they need better equipment to work with

This place is terrible I have been here 2 hours already and someone comes in and instantly gets seen before me! I'm so agrvated these sloppy people need to get it together and rude is an understatement! Do not come here

I've donated a couple of times they always use my right arm well I went last Thursday they stuck my right arm the attendant was clowning around my blood clotted arm swoll immediately she took forever to come remove the needle and blood pressure cup off my arm it started bruising three hours later I went to the urgent care they said it's normal I've never bruised like this before ever okay well today makes day 6 I've been to 2 ers and they are telling me this is normal it's not I'm in pain my fingers and arm

It's a good place to go they good people.

I hadn't donated in a while and I wanted to make sure if I had to be there at a certain time, I called to make sure, the lady said 12:30pm, I get there on time, the rudest lady in the facility says ?No more today, 12:00pm? and I say ?Oh, the lady on the phone told me 12:30pm? and she said ?Nope, no more today.? This place, ever since I started coming about a year ago, has always been super disorganized, with the most unfriendly staff you're ever going to meet. I would go somewhere else if I was you.

Sure the wait was a bit long, but I technically made more money for my time then what my job pays. Staff was okay, only one question was thrown back at me the same way I asked which is fine, I don't expect everyone to have all the answers

The staff are friendly, kind and understanding. I like having the ability to request certain staff. The new changes to check-in are more efficient and reduce lines outside. You can't please everyone so take negative reviews with a grain of salt.

I've been coming here for a few years and my experience is always 5 stars! The widgets are always nice and explain extensively why if an being deferred! I am very glad I can always come here to see the friendly workers and earn a few dollars for the road as well!

I just started donating here and I love it, the staff is always friendly. The staff gets along very well with the donors, it has a very nice friendly atmosphere. It's always quick service when I go there, I've never been there but less than one hour and thirty minutes (besides my first time). Great place to make quick cash.

I enjoy my time coming here. The wait can be long but the staff is very friendly and accommodating. I'm a stay at home mom so I use this as my break away from my child and get to help save lives and paid while doing it. ??

I've been donating for quite a while now. My experience has been great. The staff are very friendly and make me feel comfortable. My reason for donating is a win win , for to save lives and also receive a donation. I enjoy coming to this particular location because I am familiar with the staff. Thank you!

Came here 4 yrs ago. Since then been terrified to donate again due to being forgotten on the chair for 2 hrs. A random nurse disconnected me since I was seeing stars. My sister says she always received good service when she goes though. She goes on weekday afternoons and I went on a Saturday morning.

In addition to my initial complaint comes a question: how come whenever our payment is delayed due to them not putting it on, even after thirty or so minutes, you can barely get someone to answer the phone? And if you are fortunate enough for them to answer, you get the run-around. I get that the staff are employees, but y'all have to understand that people need their fair payment just as much as y'all need our donations. The plasma is taken from us in a timely manner, why isn't the payment posted in that s

The staff is probably my favorite part. They are friendly and make the time and experience go by quickly. I encourage others to reach out and help too Grifols has been a positive experience. Kristin Porter

I am ever so grateful to be able to donate at this facility. The staff treat me like VIP & go out there way to ensure I'm comfortable each visit. I feel good knowing I matter even when they tired and agg from a long day and are happy I am there.

These folks are slow, disorganized, and disrespectful while demanding respect in turn. In the past month alone, I have been turned away for wearing sweatpants while watching donors get let in wearing leggings and sweatpants themselves. the lines have grown unacceptably long and slow. The management is outright disrespectful in front of and towards donors. Nobody sees any reason to be nice, to have a good attitude or make the experience in any way an acceptable donation experience. Additionally, I have witn

This is from one stick. The left side is where they went in, the right 2 poke marks are from where they were trying to get to the vein but almost went through the other side . I have generally ok experiences here, but when an inexperienced poker tried to poke me, it obviously didn't go that well. I hate to leave a bad review because they really have improved since last year, ( this also happened last year ).. But I do think someone should be supervising the ones who are still learning to stick people ? or

The staff here is fantastic!! Yes, the wait can be very long sometimes but that is not the staffs fault. When you have 20 donors waiting and only 3 nurses screening it will take a while. I have seen them hustling trying to get to all the donors, but there is only so much they can do... I have seen them being mistreated by many donors and still keep their cool (with just a little sass). The managent is great at this location too!! If you are nice to them they will treat you with more respect. If you have an

I have been donating for years and lately the wait has been a lot shorter. I live nearby so it's an easy commute for me when the lobby is full. Great Service! Greater people! Great cause! Go donate!

Nice, friendly workers and people. Attentive, easy to understand their directions. Great needle work, accurate, helps to ease my fear of needles. I intend to be a regular.

Staff talk to each other the entire time instead of the clients, or talk with clients they know for lengthy periods while ignoring other clients. Too many personal conversations taking place with each other about lunch, family, or other staff or clients. Unfriendly, rude staff up front. Clients are often lucky to get a hello, how are you. Questionable accuracy of reasons for temporary deferrals. Sometimes some of us think we get temporarily deferred for personal reasons. Donors compare notes. Staff needs to

Been donating for over 10 years. The workers are friendly and polite. I sometimes go not just for the money but the conversations and laughter. The bonus are helpful and the games are to, can be surprisely fun. Great way to earn a lil play money while prolonging the life of others. Kool people, Great way of helping. 2 thumbs up????????

It's a great place with great people. They pay really good if you go often enough. I've already made close to $1000 dollars with them, plus you get to help save lives so that's always nice to think about. Overall, great place.

Waited a real long tome. I showed up at 6am for them to tell me to come back in 2 hours after driving 30 miles to get there. Then waited 2 hours to see the screening in. I feel taken advantage of. What a disgrace. I wasted 60 miles of drive time and didn't even donate . I left after 4 hours of wasted time. Skipped the full screening.

The staff here are wonderful and very friendly and talkative. They may not be the quickest but they always make me feel good

The workers here are so friendly. Some the people that come needs to start being nicer to them. They see a lot of people daily who are rude and disrespectful. Show some compassion to these workers.

I have been notified that alot of the issues people are experiencing (bonus payment) are due to a glitch or bug in the system. Also, be advised that the Lafayette center is completely changing it's login and kiosk process. Spoiler Alert: DOWNLOAD DONORHUB APP. Save yourself headache and time. The staff is beautiful as always. No dull personality in site! The techs are all very good at what they do. Even the newer techs. Let's get this team get a bigger, more efficient building! Always a packed house, especi

The blonde tall girl, i dont know her name, Working at the desk in the back, The meanest, Most disrespectful worker in the building, she obviously is having troubles w her life and decides to project her feelings onto others, She slammed open the sliding door telling me to give her my name in such a rude tone, and proceeded to tell me to get away from her desk because my coupon code was invalid and slammed the door in my face

To me they are awesome. Only one time I almost passed out and they all came with icepacks and water to make sure I was okay.. The workers are very friendly and kind and always ask if u okay during the donation. But everybody have their own opinion.

Update: See response from Talecris I sent a message via "contact us" on grifolsplasma.com two days prior to posting this review. I received no response. The day after I posted this reivew I received a call from the manager of Talecris. Unfortunately, I was driving to work and was not able to accept the call. I called back and left a message for the manager to return my call. I have not received a call as of today. My rating remains unchanged. Original Review: Establishment has no respect for anyone's

I been coming here for some times now I experience a lot just about help and suppost others it about saves life's the money is good just love the staff. Place always clean always meet nice ppl tht one thing I love bout everything ppl treat you with respect tht why I'm give this place a five stars my favor kind place keep up the good job yall ??????

This place has the WORST staff. They are constantly changing the rules of this place. Like at one point it's if you sign in you can't leave. Now people sign in and come in and out of the place constantly. Then it was you sign in and go to the kiosk to take the 26 question test. But now it's when they call you to go in. I was once here for FIVE HOURS and that was just sitting down and waiting. This place is nasty and the workers here are ghetto and rude. If you can have enough patience to go through all of i

I been coming here a long time! Never really put much thought into it! About the needle in all till i had one put it in and i about came out of my chair! Lol Now its different i care who sticks me! Lol I have to say RHIANNON That works here is Absolutely Amazing at her job! Takes her time and cares And that All show by the way she sticks u! I have to say I Never Realized that it could be done! Feeling Nothing till she did it I always figure a Lil pain was Expected! Boy was I wrong! This Company is Blesse

On most days it's not a long wait time lately it's been a long wait time even if you are not a New donor I still go from time to time if it's a lot of people I won't stay there's to many viruses going around the world to be piled up in a small building with person's of the unknown nature... My opinion and I'm OCD .. I'm grateful for the center and employees.. Be Blessed

One false positive , banned for life. This is bad policy. Don't get vaccinated to go overseas in military an give blood, because you will fall in to this category, There is a forgiveness program going on an these people are above that. Shallow minded

went twice to donate. called ahead and asked for an appointment. got told it's walk in only. walked in. no new donors. tried again 2 days later. NO NEW DONORS. wish they would say this before you drive 50+ minutes to get there.

Fantastic place, I'm always treated with care and patience and I'm rarely ever there for too long. Great and kind staff that can make you laugh at the drop of a dime. The payout is worth it

While an easy way to make money, be prepared to be treated rudely. Sure some of the workers are friendly it seems most just don't want to me there. I've seen a person begging for help while the workers just ignore them and continue to talk amougest themselves. Make sure you eat and drink plenty before going there because they won't help you if you start to get sick or light headed from donating.

Great place to donate plasma and help your community. Awesome staff. Great service. Great attitudes. Comfortable atmosphere. Handicap parking. Vending machines inside. Public restrooms available. Ways to earn extra cash every month. Weekly bonuses.

Went through the whole process of a new donor and got denied at the end cause of a test that the lady told me all my answers were wrong, so I changed them and they were still ?wrong?. The lady then told me that I would have to start from the beginning and redo paperwork and all mind you I had been in there a total of 3 hours waiting and got denied right before sending me to the back. She was absolutely rude and disrespectful!

I like it cause it's quiet and clean. They also get u in and out quickly. Staff if friendly n helpful

Big Jarvis always has a wonderful attitude, outstanding customer service! He makes you laugh and feel comfortable. I can see myself donating all the time??

Won't answer the phone and was refused as a first time doner without prior knowledge of special times for first timers. Arrived at 12:22 and was refused to donate despite them being open until 3 pm. Never going back.

I love the crew they r awesome some days are better than others but overall it is a great time and experience. Keep up the good work.

Friendly environment workers are very nice and I've been there a lot I had stop going but iam bout to start again felt like I was missing something, yea going there I'll be back y'all lol, if u never been wt are y'all waiting on !!!

Been going here for years never had a complaint they take care of their people everyone's friendly upbeat even it is busy always looking to help donors with anything they treat like you matter with respect love going every week

Really great! The first appointment was very long, but once you come again it's very efficient. They are very helpful for Hearing impared folks as well

Been coming here for a long time now. Good nice people. Clean environment. Wait time long sometimes but altogether it's a nice place

This is a very relaxed exciting place to be. The staff here is excellent and they take real good care of you. They are clean and very professional. I would recommend this place to e everybody

I have a good time coming here. The people are very respectful and organized. The make me smile and the pay is nice.

The staff is so friendly and professional. You also get paid to donate which is a plus because your not only helping save lives and making extra money to do it. So go DONATE ????

Easy way to make a little bit of cash when you get back from vacation and you have a few days left before your check LOL! never hurts to get a little extra money in your pocket. Get paid to play with your phone and help someone out!

Love the staff they go out there way to make you feel comfortable. They always have a smile on there face .I love donating knowing that I can make a difference in someone's life...

This place is a great Plasma center. The workers are amazing. The process usually smooth and swift. I enjoy the two days out the week I'm in here.

Love the plasma center. Great staff. Super clean. You are more than compensated for your time. Well worth going if you need extra money or just want to start saving !!!

Saw bad reviews and I was little skeptical. However, everyone I met was WONDERFUL! Whether you want to donate out of the kindness of your heart or you can use the extra cash to make ends meet, I would 100% recommend this donation center!

Have been here three times now long waiting times but everyone is so friendly and try to move as fast as they can.

Love this place. It's gives life and get light. And I appreciate everyone that donate. The staff is amazing and I wouldn't ask to be anywhere else.

I've been trying to call this place for MONTHS. Never have they ONCE answered the phone. There was only 6 people besides me in there, yet it was gonna take hours for me to be seen? And with that being said, why can't they answer their phones? Awful service. Awful place. Also, make sure you have every form of identification under the sun so you don't waste your time.

This place is a complete fiasco first of all after taking a friend up there to donate spending 3 hours him coming out with both of his arms poked all up they tried to blame him for their inability to perform their jobs and paid him five whole dollars for the sample he provided they're incompetent at best I set there for 3 hours watching people come out of that place complaining about the same thing person after person nobody come out with a smile on their face talking about anything good

The location is easy to find with plenty of parking. Mornings are best time to donate and the staff is really welcoming. I've had a great experience with them answering questions and hearing my concerns.

Blood pressure machine in booth 5 always codes out and never reads my pressure, literally every time. When I asked why this machine is the only one that codes out, they say it's because of a faulty cuff. And they refuse to take your pressure on a different machine. I've been deferred multiple times due to this and it isn't fair at all. How is it my fault that your cuff isn't up to par?

Easy, straightforward process that can help those in need. Very helpful staff and clean environment. Employees are knowledgeable and answer any questions about processes.

Staff always friendly!! Never had one be rude even though they are often very busy!!

I really hope this gets to thee owner or whomever is in charge!!! First I would like to say I have been donating for years at Talecris. My mother was hospitalized needing plasma for her survivor, so I understand the importance of donating plasma for those in need, which is a big part of why I have donated over the years. I would like to acknowledge that the facility is great , it's a very clean environment, the music is always lovely it really gets my blood flowing, and you guys have done a tremendous job w

They had me spend 2 hours jumping through their hoops before they took my blood pressure and heart rate. My heart rate was over 100 beats per minute which disqualified me from donating. They get paid by the hour and DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE YOU SPENT in their center. It's quite obviously to me the blood pressure and heart rate test would be THE FIRST THING they would do so HOURS of YOUR TIME would not be WASTED doing all shorts of things that turn out to be USELESS because of a high hate rate. They are SO SEL

It use to be great but now the kiosk are down there's only 2 so they make you wait outside. It was freezing that day.

Never had any issue here I'm always in and out. All the ladies are very nice and fun. All while being professional!!

Well organized, the workers are super sweet. They move with a sense of urgency.Very professional.Makes the process much more enjoyable!

Sat in the waiting room for 3 hours before I even got brough to take my picture and finger prints. Staff cuts up behind desk and doesnt worry about people in the lobby.

My experience was excellent! The staff were very helpful. The donation process itself was fast and easy to indore, and that's why I would recommend Grifols Talecris Plasma Resources to anyone who's interested in donating plasma!

Great people but can never answer the phone I've been there never that busy and been going for years

The staff are very friendly and I honestly never had a bad experience. They are the best.

They have a great staff that makes u feel right at home and does their best to get everyone in and out as fast as possible I love this place

great place, great staff. impressed at how they handle difficult people and high work loads.

I have been coming since 2009. This is a great facility. Very nice staff. They have great contest and bonuses

Great way to make some money while helping people in need. Awesome staff if you know how to act right.

Great staff. Easy and fast. No pain process. I go every week. Highly recommend.

They always Welcome me here with a Smile. Management are tight lipped, but workers in booths and the arm phlebotomist are GREAT!

The staff is great here and friendly. Great to see the smiles on peoples faces that work here.

Great place, walk ins always welcomed, for referals you get an extra $50 after there 2nd donation, you get $50 your first and $75 your second, almost everyone can do it. It takes some time if you are new, just the first time you go, but after it is a breeze.

The staff is super friendly and professional. They make you feel quite comfortable.

Fast and professional service, the payout is also worth it. Been going for a month and it's not a bad experience.

I like to help out giving plasma. But I don't think you should have to sit an wait sometimes up to 4-5 hrs. Cause the workers are mostly laughing cutting up with their favorite ppl. Or take in the new ones first. Too many VIP passes been given out to some of the same ppl all the time. Got there at 9 am didn't leave till almost 4 pm. That's bs. I think the big bosses need to step in for surprise visits onces in awhile. Very unprofessional. An wount even tell you what your blood pressure is. They make there o

I've been a donor since October 2021 and have been mostly satisfied with my experience. The staff and nurses have always been helpful to me from the beginning.

I been coming here since 2018. Everyone one is friendly and gets you in/out in no time. I enjoy coming here because it helps people who are in need for the plasma.

I didnt get to danate my first time due to a medication... But they were so professional and friendly...courteous...I was very pleased... N yes, I will b returning to do my part!! Thanks

I'm a new donor and was pleasantly surprised with my overall experience. The entire staff at the Lafayette, LA location are so friendly and very helpful.
