I seriously can't stand the new manager with the dreads. He's the absolute worst person to run any facility. They must really been desperate to find this guy because a complete you know what. I can't wait until his time is up

If you're thinking of going to Grifols to sell plasma, think again. Shaun and I went Friday. I wasn't able to donate. I didn't have my social security card, only a copy, of which the lady on the phone said if I bring my copy, my marriage license, and the paper from the SSA office saying my card is coming in the mail it would work and I could sell. I get there. They say ?we don't know who you spoke to but you can't give today.? Which is fine, I sat in the parking lot while Shaun went through the process. The

If u want a quick experience, this is not the place for you. I have waited for an hour and half without even being stuck with the needle. Not a new donor. But half an hour wait up front ( which isn't bad). But then an HOUR IN THE BACK AND COUNTING. Although the staff said it would take about 30mins and I have understanding for things running behind this is not the first or last time this has happened. Not only that but when you ask for an update on how much longer it could take they say nope and keep walkin

Worst business by far. Not nearly enough workers. Does not have a daily doctor. Constantly losing employees which then causes back ups. System is down every morning. Last time I stood in line for an hr just to be told I could not donate because of a 4-6 check up. The check-up is understandable but what isn't is standing for an hour and then having that information brought to me. I should?ve been informed of that when I checked it. I will never ever return to this facility.

I was a dedicated donor at Talecris for a good while. In your intake you must mark the parts of your body that have piercings and tattoos. I have had my nose pierced on both sides since I was 19. I was very nervous during intake and MISTAKENLY did not mark one side of my nose. Many months later I was asked to fill out that same paper again but this time I marked both sides. This very rude man pulled me in an office calling me deceptive among other things. Treating me as if I had just stolen his car. He trea

They are trash they never answer the phone they deferred me for some reason but I can't get in touch with them so idk why. Lazy just all around pitiful

Pathetic excuse for a business. Staff constantly calling off. Weekly system failures. Staff has the worst attitudes and at the same time they don't want to work. Multiple times have the placed not even opened leaving people standing outside for hours. The pay is extremely mediocre when you compare to the conditions that must be met to receive it. Worst plasma center ever. It needs help like yesterday.

Had an 8:00am appointment they accepted 35 other people that entered later than me most of which did not have an appointment. They also excepted others for a first time appointment that came in after I did . Total expected wait time on the first appointment 3hours and 45 minutes. No soap in the bathrooms and no system of organization for Wait times they should have your name and or number on display for How long your expected wait time is so that is clear and not corrupted. Finally they are understaffed and

How this place have an average of 4.6 stars is beyond me. They must get employees and their friends to leave fake good reviews. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. This is the most unprofessional, unorganized place I've ever been to. I called first and chose the selection to make an appointment only to be told (rudely) "We don't make appointments for you! You have to download the app and do it yourself" and then was hung up on. Why do they even have an option to make an appointment if they don't do that

Gross incompetence of management. Poorly paid skeleton crew of workers. The nurse quit a few days ago to go back to bar tending, because the pay is better. It's pretty damning that she would rather put up with drunken fools than work here. With no nurse on duty, they can't even open the building. Prior Proper Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance!

This place needs to do way better. Prior to having to make appointments it ran way smoother. Even though u have an appointment u cannot checkin till 5 minutes before appointment time which is so stupid. Then when they switched over to first come first serve basis people lost a week due to all appointment already filled which is crazy. No wander this place cannot keep employees due to administrator. WOW

The place is not well staffed but the workers that are here is amazing The girls work together and everything moves pretty quickly. I'll recommend anyone to come donate??

I know it can take a long time to get in and get started donating plasma but it's obvious that every employee is doing their best to get everyone in and set up quickly. I've been to donate plasma several times and cannot say enough how kind everyone has been. I appreciate all of them very much.

I've been calling for WEEKS to make an appointment. I've called everyday within hours, morning and afternoon. NO ONE will answer the phone. I understand employees may be busy, but I don't understand how they can be busy enough to miss as many phonecalls as they have been.

Y'all need to do better absolutely no sense. I got sick four times rather miss seeing kept saying no flow I have to get people to stick me. Then the messed up part is the money didn't even go on my card. And no staff member seems to be answering the phone at all sounds like I was basically a pin cushion for free. What a staff member said I was supposed to get paid well the money did not go on my card do better.

If you are patient, things will go smoothly. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, & considerate. The constant music flows good vibes through the atmosphere to make the 1-3 hours you'll spend here be great experience every time. You'll want to return

The new year brought in a new way to do plasma. Stand up until it's your turn. Keep your heart pumping. Lol good job at keeping people on their toes.

The wait time varies. It really doesn't matter the time of day it's really all about luck in my opinion. But I have to say I've been coming here since November of 2020. And I've never seen a man like ZENO take a unfortunate situation that happened there with so much integrity and respect and pride and kindness. A lady had a bladder problem and relieved herself on the bed. While others (staff and donors) laughed and joked about this unfortunate situation Zeno took care of the situation with pride and compass

I donated yesterday for the first time. It was a great experience because the employees were so nice, knowledgeable and helpful! Definitely going to go back and donate again. Thanks to all the workers who helped me!

I sat for almost 2 hours before anyone checked my ID or social.. 2 hours wasted sitting when they could have checked upon arrival, if my ID were the correct ones needed when I signed the check in sheet at 12:50 instead of 2:30. Not courtesy of patients time and the already long wait period. Front desk was very rude when I asked why it took so long to check my id instead of doing it when I arrived almost 2 hours prior. But there were workers around who could?ve assisted but didn't and continued to gossip abo

I've been donating for about 7 yrs, this was the best experience at a plasma center I've had. Polite, really nice people. Bird does not mess around on that floor, very good phlebotomist. I would highly recommend this place.

Love this place. Have never had a bad experience and I've been going twice a week for a few months now. The people are always nice and friendly and ready to answer any questions you may have

Wow. First impression made me not want to visit at all. I recently moved from another state where I donated at CSL Plasma regularly. I wanted to start donating again and found this place which is about an hour from where I live now. Since it's a different company I called to ask a few questions so I could learn more about how this company operates (if I need an appointment etc) and to make sure I brought everything I needed for my first donation. The receptionist on the phone was very short and quick and se

I have been donating here off and on for about 7 years. I have had nothing but good experiences. The staff is very informative about the process and willing to answer any questions. They are very friendly and try to make you as comfortable as possible during the process. If you're interested in donating, this is the place I would recommend checking out.

Been coming here 3 years and never had a bad experience. The staff knows me well and is always respectful and kind. I really appreciate the opportunity to help save lives.

There is an old lady with glasses named Vickie that works here and she is an absolute nightmare. A lady came in, mind you she was white, and didn't even have forms of address but she was so kinda to try and help her out. And they even bonded/conversed. But when a black woman went up, she was trying to figure out what she needed and Vickie was just getting attitude, huffing and rolling her eyes as if the lady was stupid for not having a form of address. The racism from this woman is insane. Me and my son wil

What would make this place even BETTER. Could be that y'all can make it to where the donors can receive their recorded vitals on the app after each visit . Instead of the whole lobby listening to their personal info lol please

I get it that they're busy, BUT alot of the staff mess around chit chatting & cutting in the middle of it all is a big part of why they stay piled up with donors. Don't get me wrong, I love the staff, they're friendly & sweet. But it would be nice if they would focus more on each donor they're hooking up rather than cut up with one another in the process, making it take way longer than it would if they would just stop talking & focus on what they're doing so they're not stopping so much in the middle of hoo

Over the last 3 years of me attending Telecris. The staff and I have developed nothing but great relationships. As a matter of fact I can't think of one member who wouldn't know me by name and vica versa. I have NEVER had a bad visit, and Mr. Ricky is doing an extraordinary job and continues to improve. Special shout out goes to my friends Jessica, Zeno, Daysha, Adrianna, Miss Nett, Ericka, and so many others. I just wanted to tell you guys how much I appreciate all of you, and keep up the great work!

I started donating here in lake Charles last month, and so far my experience has been great! I love the staff, they're always so kind and funny. They work efficiently and quickly as possible, and every donation so far has been a breeze!

It's getting worse instead of better. Since they changed it to wear you don't actually check in until they do your vitals it's not showing how long you wait so it helps them I've been here 3 hours an still haven't been in the back an when you ask to speak to a manager there not avaliable

I have been giving plasma at Talecris in Lake Charles for over a year. I highly recommend it!! After the initial screening (which adds an hour or 2 to your first visit), the process is straightforward. I have never had an adverse reaction or any trouble with a needle site. The staff there are very competent and professional. I relax & play on my phone for about an hour while providing plasma for medical treatments and I am compensated for my time. It's a win-win!

Tried donating about a week ago and my heavens it was a mess. The line was almost out the door and there was only one staff member conducting the screening process. It would have easily been a two hour wait just to get to the screening point. I have been to other plasma centers in another state and this place made me wish I never left those other centers. Just horrid and I really needed the $100 from my second donation. I was not going to wast my whole day though. I live an hour away and pretty much waisted

Never had to be restuck which is great! All staff has been kind and amazing aside from one intake nurse. No social skills or bedside manner and that's coming from someone in the spectrum.

If you need extra cash come down to Talecris. The staff is amazing an funny. It's well worth the couple of hours there. The TEAM is awesome.

They need new people and faster workers they be having people sitting there waiting 30 mins to an hour happen ?ed to me three times it's unfair to us people who have other stuff to do

I go 2 time a week. They have friendly staff. If you go tell them Warren Hyatt sent you.

Very nice and truly a great place to be if you have the time to make sure it goes well for you... A very happy and blessed staff will accommodate you needs

The ladies I've dealt with in the front and the techs have been friendly and respectful. All except one lady up front, she didn't ask my name or ID number. She was distracted on other things. Before sticking my finger, she walked off for several mins. She came back , started texting someone on her phone. I wasn't important enough for her to stay focused on her job. The tech, LaToya went way above and beyond sanitizing the equipment and chairs. . It pleases me she is concerned for my health. I great

I went for second time to try to donate . I have been receiving txt msgs offering extra $ to return as a donor because I haven't donated in months because there was a issue of machine not being set up correctly ...by a employee I asked for her not to stick me because she ALWAYS bruised me and I had to sit out to return ...a...anyway. I went on Saturday 1:00pm . I went to sign in at computer and it told me to see a worker ( because I haven't been in months) I waited in the front at desk for a while with no o

Great staff and it was a great experience. The only thing I have a problem is that when I went to donate I was a new donor bc it had been well over 6 years since the last time I donated and someone used me as a referral. Well he didn't get the referral pay bc they said I was a transfer. So he was not happy and I want to know if this can be fixed so he can get his money. Now as of yesterday everything was fine until I tried to go donate. I was flagged as high risk bc they said they got a report , well someon

I have a great donation everytime. I love this place I tell everyone I can, you might be scare of the needle, but its not what you think. They take theyer time, and make you feel comfortable thanks you guy for your great work.

I love the staff here at the lake Charles clinic they are always helpful and kind hearted. Most days they are not packed but when they are they do the most to make sure we are in and out. The nurses are Oris at sticking I never feel a thing. But most of all come donate bc u are saving a life and making extra money.

Great atmosphere along with friendly staff. It is a great way to make easy money and it's fast and the best part is I know I'm helping others.

Great service. Quick and efficient!! Only had one bad experience but overall it's amazing thing for your community and very sweet people!

As a first time donor expect to be there for at least 4 plus hours. Yes, it's a long process but it's not that bad. There is tons of things they have to do to accommodate each person donating. The staff was friendly and quick when they hooked me up to the machine. Be sure to dress warm! Sweats and socks with shoes are highly recommended and I saw a few people with blankets. Overall it was an interesting experience. If you are severely impatient I wouldn't recommend trying to donate plasma. Also, the more h

Staff is very nice and friendly! Overall, very pleased with my experiences so far. EXCEPT my experiences with Ty, she was extremely rude and unwelcoming. Very unprofessional.

They are very clean and very well mannered I appreciate how everyone works together. U also have an employee that's high trained and good at his job Mr. Zeno makes a good unpack on talecris

Every time I go to donate the workers are always nice & they do everything in their power to make sure you're comfortable throughout the entire donation process. 10/10 highly recommend.

I love ??giving plasma to help save a life. It's a blessing to receive compensation for it. But what I really cherish is the time that I spend with the incredible staff there.. They laugh with me, while donating, it distracted me from the pain of the initial stick.... It also helps me to remain calm, Ricky is pretty awesome. He came off of his break, just to satisfy my personal request. I have tiny irritating veins??. So I really really really appreciate Tamika honoring my request. Thank you so much

Friendly place with great music, Zeno, Jamkia, Kalista, Kiara is my go too. Overall love working for Talecris and also the donors that take time out of there busy schedules to come help save lives.

The only thing this donation center is good at is wasting your time. I was informed only after I had filled out paperwork, waited over an hour, and completed a 60 question form that I weighed too much to donate plasma. Why they didn't inform me of this in the first place is beyond me. I wasted an entire afternoon only to be refused at the last possible second. If you're looking to donate plasma, definitely do so. just do so elsewhere. a distinct lack of professionalism.

Something that I do faithfully twice a week love seeing my favorite people Ms Patricia, Mika, Zeno, Kiera and Mostly Ricky. The ONLY DOWNSIDE is driving 45 minutes with the price of gas to be told you're a $5 sample only

I love this place always brightens my day to come here the staff is always friendly and upbeat . Zeno is the best at sticking me ...lol And they have great music all the time . And honestly at first I did this for the money until I learned more about it and it prides me to know I can help others with my donation .

The workers here are very kind and always say? Thank you for coming?. Im alway excited to see them on my next visit. The Lake Charles Center is great.

This company used to be great back in the beginning when I started coming here, but ever sense new management came in and the have been altering everything, it has become so slow and not even the people employed here enjoy this place, this is a day trip to come donate it is not worth coming here anymore

If you are someone like me, I have never donated blood or plasma before. I decided to give it a try and surprisingly, it's been a wonderful experience. This is my third time this month donating plasma. I am donating to help give "the gift of life". Plasma can help save lives. Here at Grifols, the staff is very nice and professional. Ricky was very nice and genuinely polite. He took the time to come by and introduce himself and answered any questions I had.

I have been giving plasma for several years and have had a good experience. Their equipment is up to date and the staff is friendly. They will come and check on you several times during the donation process especially if they have everyone stuck and are waiting on someone to take down. They try to get you out as soon as possible

Good service, good music, can be a little busy at times but the entire process isn't bad at all, has gotten way faster than the unusual.

Talecris is a great center, they're clean and the staffs always friendly. Zeno is always walking around the back keeping things interesting and he maintains a professional environment.

Amazing staff and very friendly. They are very busy but they work steady and quickly. The wait is usually not long. Very satisfied.

This is a great facility..that has a great team of workers that cares about donors..an the lives us donors get to save in the process..I have referred many people to come to facility..an will continue referring in future..great job guys..depending on how hydrated you are..the process isn't long..come donate today..it's worth it..

Clem and up to date. All the workers are nice. Great place to come an help others out. Donating is something you can do to people in need.

Great staff! Everyone is very nice and professional. In and out visits with no complaints!

Lake Charles plasma center is a great way to make some extra money. You don't have to worry they have great nurses like Amanda to make sure your visit is comfortable. I have never had any problems .They also play great music and have good WiFi

Alright pay. The waiting part can be to long and they need more workers

When I started I was very happy with the place and staff. This is now the second time I have had an issue and their phone lines never give the option for Talecris and I can't get a hold of anyone. You call and it just rings. The same thing happened two weeks ask. I donated today and never got paid for my donation and now I can't contact them I come from Deridder this is my method of paying for gas for work throughout the week and today I am stranded on 171 waiting on someone two hours away to come and give

This is definitely a awesome place to go. It's like being with family staff is so nice and friendly always a pleasant visit.

I would LOVE to say that the staff that there works here is the bomb . They are so friendly and they make you smile or laugh. They really make it pleasant to come here .

Been coming here for several years on and off. Definitely comes in handy when times get hard, and glad to know I'm also helping someone else out in the process!!

Best place to be, if you want to help your community and don't know what to do or where to start. Plus, it's a great environment with wonderful- kind workers.

Usually super quick and a fast process. The staff is very informative and super nice! Love this place and will continue to donate here.

I love Donating every week, I am single mom, so I love the extra money it helps me out alot. They have great Referral programs for New donor?s. It's pulse for me, know that I can also help people out that including help my child with medication that came from my body. I think a lot moms should consider becoming a donor. So they can help their children?s with the medicine that came from their body. Also once completed the new donation payouts, they have great return donors payouts. Pulse extra rewards. Com

The staff is very friendly. My blood pressure is always hard to find but they do a great job to make sure they can get atleast one reading! Best plasma center I have ever been to!!!!

How much you pay this month for first time donors

Great place to make little extra cash and help someone else who could desperately depend on it... they staff is kinda and efficient...i would suggest coming to anyone

I tell anyone who will listen about this opportunity. It's a great way to help others and be blessed back as well. The staff is professional and friendly.

New patients take a good long while but once you're processed and in the back, it takes no time at all. They are very nice and helpful with any questions you have as well! ??

The employees are always helpful and nice. They take the time to explain the procedures as well as let you know what's going on

Great customer service. No long waits. The employees are very nice and keep you in mind always. Great place to

There are some really good people up their . Over all I like the vibe. They make you feel comfortable ,while they are doing there job.

Talecris is a friendly place. It doesn't take long to get through especially with worker like Zeno. He's always kind and makes sure your okay and well taken care of.

I love the workers! Always helpful and very friendly! Never had to wait long and quick!

I have deep veins. Mika is amazing. She always finds them and makes sure I am ok. Will definitely be back!
