I seriously can't stand the new manager with the dreads. He's the absolute worst person to run any facility. They must really been desperate to find this guy because a complete you know what. I can't wait until his time is up

If you're thinking of going to Grifols to sell plasma, think again. Shaun and I went Friday. I wasn't able to donate. I didn't have my social security card, only a copy, of which the lady on the phone said if I bring my copy, my marriage license, and the paper from the SSA office saying my card is coming in the mail it would work and I could sell. I get there. They say ?we don't know who you spoke to but you can't give today.? Which is fine, I sat in the parking lot while Shaun went through the process. The

If u want a quick experience, this is not the place for you. I have waited for an hour and half without even being stuck with the needle. Not a new donor. But half an hour wait up front ( which isn't bad). But then an HOUR IN THE BACK AND COUNTING. Although the staff said it would take about 30mins and I have understanding for things running behind this is not the first or last time this has happened. Not only that but when you ask for an update on how much longer it could take they say nope and keep walkin

Worst business by far. Not nearly enough workers. Does not have a daily doctor. Constantly losing employees which then causes back ups. System is down every morning. Last time I stood in line for an hr just to be told I could not donate because of a 4-6 check up. The check-up is understandable but what isn't is standing for an hour and then having that information brought to me. I should?ve been informed of that when I checked it. I will never ever return to this facility.

I was a dedicated donor at Talecris for a good while. In your intake you must mark the parts of your body that have piercings and tattoos. I have had my nose pierced on both sides since I was 19. I was very nervous during intake and MISTAKENLY did not mark one side of my nose. Many months later I was asked to fill out that same paper again but this time I marked both sides. Pathetic excuse for a business. Staff constantly calling off. Weekly system failures. Staff has the worst attitudes and at the same time they don't want to work. Multiple times have the placed not even opened leaving people standing outside for hours. The pay is extremely mediocre when you compare to the conditions that must be met to receive it. Worst plasma center ever. It needs help like yesterday.

Had an 8:00am appointment they accepted 35 other people that entered later than me most of which did not have an appointment. They also excepted others for a first time appointment that came in after I did . Total expected wait time on the first appointment 3hours and 45 minutes. No soap in the bathrooms and no system of organization for Wait times they should have your name and or number on display for How long your expected wait time is so that is clear and not corrupted. How this place have an average of 4.6 stars is beyond me. They must get employees and their friends to leave fake good reviews. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. This is the most unprofessional, unorganized place I've ever been to. I called first and chose the selection to make an appointment only to be told (rudely) "We don't make appointments for you! You have to download the app and do it yourself" and then was hung up on. Why do they even have an option to make an appointment if they don't do that

Gross incompetence of management. Poorly paid skeleton crew of workers. The nurse quit a few days ago to go back to bar tending, because the pay is better. It's pretty damning that she would rather put up with drunken fools than work here. With no nurse on duty, they can't even open the building. Prior Proper Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance!

This place needs to do way better. Prior to having to make appointments it ran way smoother. Even though u have an appointment u cannot checkin till 5 minutes before appointment time which is so stupid. Then when they switched over to first come first serve basis people lost a week due to all appointment already filled which is crazy. No wander this place cannot keep employees due to administrator. I know it can take a long time to get in and get started donating plasma but it's obvious that every employee is doing their best to get everyone in and set up quickly. I've been to donate plasma several times and cannot say enough how kind everyone has been. I appreciate all of them very much.

I've been calling for WEEKS to make an appointment. I've called everyday within hours, morning and afternoon. NO ONE will answer the phone. I understand employees may be busy, but I don't understand how they can be busy enough to miss as many phonecalls as they have been.

Y'all need to do better absolutely no sense. I got sick four times rather miss seeing kept saying no flow I have to get people to stick me. Then the messed up part is the money didn't even go on my card. And no staff member seems to be answering the phone at all sounds like I was basically a pin cushion for free. What a staff member said I was supposed to get paid well the money did not go on my card do better.

The wait time varies. It really doesn't matter the time of day it's really all about luck in my opinion. But I have to say I've been coming here since November of 2020. And I've never seen a man like ZENO take a unfortunate situation that happened there with so much integrity and respect and pride and kindness. A lady had a bladder problem and relieved herself on the bed. I sat for almost 2 hours before anyone checked my ID or social.. 2 hours wasted sitting when they could have checked upon arrival, if my ID were the correct ones needed when I signed the check in sheet at 12:50 instead of 2:30. Not courtesy of patients time and the already long wait period. Front desk was very rude when I asked why it took so long to check my id instead of doing it when I arrived almost 2 hours prior. There is an old lady with glasses named Vickie that works here and she is an absolute nightmare. A lady came in, mind you she was white, and didn't even have forms of address but she was so kinda to try and help her out. And they even bonded/conversed. I get it that they're busy, BUT alot of the staff mess around chit chatting & cutting in the middle of it all is a big part of why they stay piled up with donors. Over the last 3 years of me attending Telecris. The staff and I have developed nothing but great relationships. As a matter of fact I can't think of one member who wouldn't know me by name and vica versa. I have NEVER had a bad visit, and Mr. Ricky is doing an extraordinary job and continues to improve. I started donating here in lake Charles last month, and so far my experience has been great! I love the staff, they're always so kind and funny. They work efficiently and quickly as possible, and every donation so far has been a breeze!

It's getting worse instead of better. Since they changed it to wear you don't actually check in until they do your vitals it's not showing how long you wait so it helps them I've been here 3 hours an still haven't been in the back an when you ask to speak to a manager there not avaliable

I have been giving plasma at Talecris in Lake Charles for over a year. I highly recommend it!! After the initial screening (which adds an hour or 2 to your first visit), the process is straightforward. I have never had an adverse reaction or any trouble with a needle site. The staff there are very competent and professional. I relax & play on my phone for about an hour while providing plasma for medical treatments and I am compensated for my time. It's a win-win!

Tried donating about a week ago and my heavens it was a mess. The line was almost out the door and there was only one staff member conducting the screening process. It would have easily been a two hour wait just to get to the screening point. I have been to other plasma centers in another state and this place made me wish I never left those other centers. Just horrid and I really needed the $100 from my second donation. I was not going to wast my whole day though. I live an hour away and pretty much waisted

Never had to be restuck which is great! All staff has been kind and amazing aside from one intake nurse. No social skills or bedside manner and that's coming from someone in the spectrum.

If you need extra cash come down to Talecris. The staff is amazing an funny. It's well worth the couple of hours there. The TEAM is awesome.

The ladies I've dealt with in the front and the techs have been friendly and respectful. All except one lady up front, she didn't ask my name or ID number. She was distracted on other things. Before sticking my finger, she walked off for several mins. She came back , started texting someone on her phone. I wasn't important enough for her to stay focused on her job. I love the staff here at the lake Charles clinic they are always helpful and kind hearted. Most days they are not packed but when they are they do the most to make sure we are in and out. The nurses are Oris at sticking I never feel a thing. But most of all come donate bc u are saving a life and making extra money.

As a first time donor expect to be there for at least 4 plus hours. Yes, it's a long process but it's not that bad. There is tons of things they have to do to accommodate each person donating. I love ??giving plasma to help save a life. It's a blessing to receive compensation for it. But what I really cherish is the time that I spend with the incredible staff there.. They laugh with me, while donating, it distracted me from the pain of the initial stick.... It also helps me to remain calm, Ricky is pretty awesome. The only thing this donation center is good at is wasting your time. I was informed only after I had filled out paperwork, waited over an hour, and completed a 60 question form that I weighed too much to donate plasma. Why they didn't inform me of this in the first place is beyond me. I wasted an entire afternoon only to be refused at the last possible second. If you're looking to donate plasma, definitely do so. just do so elsewhere. a distinct lack of professionalism.

If you are someone like me, I have never donated blood or plasma before. I decided to give it a try and surprisingly, it's been a wonderful experience. This is my third time this month donating plasma. I am donating to help give "the gift of life". Plasma can help save lives. Here at Grifols, the staff is very nice and professional. Ricky was very nice and genuinely polite. He took the time to come by and introduce himself and answered any questions I had.

I have been giving plasma for several years and have had a good experience. Their equipment is up to date and the staff is friendly. They will come and check on you several times during the donation process especially if they have everyone stuck and are waiting on someone to take down. They try to get you out as soon as possible
