The reviews show extreme polarization, with many 1-star complaints about unprofessional staff, long wait times, payment issues, inconsistent rules, and deceptive practices. Frequent issues include rude employees, mismanagement, broken promises on bonuses, and turning donors away arbitrarily. However, some 4-5 star reviews praise efficient service, friendly staff, and good pay rates when the process works smoothly. STAY AWAY! DECEPTIVE! I had 2 interactions with this place. Both on the phone with the same receptionist. Not sure if she had too much THC or what is going on. The reason for my review is her lies. It only takes the 2 sentences from her mouth to realize she is not honest. Why would I even come in if y'all are being represented by a shady individual. What are you doing behind the scenes if this is how you treat people on the phone? "Hi, I am a new donor. How much are you paying?" "$60" "Okay have a good day"

The process is a bit long - but once you get started it goes by quickly. Hannah and Melinda are great. Also, a blonde whose name I didn't catch helped me with ice and she was very sweet.

The app tells me I have been deferred so I call to find out what is going on. I called for thirty minutes because no one in this building will pick up the phone. I don't leave a message because I don't believe they check it. Communication is and has been a frustration here. I sit here absolutely unable to communicate with this company in 2025 because no one has the job of answering the phone. I'll try the home office.

Very professional crew is working here! Fast service and always trying to improve costumer service. I enjoy my time spent at their facility ??

It's not to bad but they don't honor bonuses because there not verified if it's there actual website when it goes only to the main website. I lost out on $130... hopefully I get my next bonus this next month and 8th time. It's quick and fast service and great pokers but they messed up payments to me and my bonuses so I'm leary on it I've already got a CSL $25 bonus to go back. But I don't want to I like grifols

Update the big guy here is a ass: he wouldn't give me my bonus money when they others said they would honor it. This is why they don't have what other places do bc they don't give every pay or bonus out. Always in and out, staff is great and the pokers are AMAZING I have rolling veins and I can never tell when they poke me it's amazing and clean here. Plus water is offered after donation and clean bathrooms. Always sanitized. The best place I've been so far. Great job everyone I'll see ya tomorrow (monday)

This place is absolutely horrible. A group of young people who stand around talking about people. Sticking multiple times til they get it right. Once in a while you'll get lucky and get a person who likes their job. The new lady whom is titled manager is un professional and needs out of there. Donating plasma should be exciting but here you're fearful. Its sad...

You want to talk about professionals go here. I started donating here a year ago as a new donor and won't go anywhere else. They make you feel welcomed and the personalities are top notch! I usually look forward to coming in here just to chill for an hour. Most recognize me when I come in and are happy to see you. I seriously don't understand the bad reviews. It's clean, fun and a treat to be around happy staff. Management is fantastic and keeps things in order. I can name all of them by name- as you

Great staff. The worse app ever!!!!! Your IT is pure garbage and should be fired immediately!!!!! I mean signing in through the app is a laughable JOKE!!!!! FIX NOW!!!!

So here I am again making another complaint about them which this shouldn't be happening, now mind everybody here their regular work hours where it closes at 6:30 p.m. Mind you they allow people to walk in that building after 6:00 p.m. And now my complaint; how is it that at 3:00 the building's going to close, but yet had the doors locked by 2:30 you guys don't even do that during regular work hours when the building is closed at 6:30 you guys don't lock the door at 6:00 p.m. so my confusion is why do it no

The staff here is a JOKE. I called up there to get info because the lady wasn't very clear on what was the problem so it could be taken care of so they we not professional and started laughing and talking crap about the person I was talking about. Childish behaviors are definitely not professional behaviors. Do better staff!!

I've never had so much trouble trying to donate plasma. Every chance they can take, they will turn you away and have an attitude about it too. Turned away cause I have a beard and longer hair than what my ID shows.

Absolutely loved the service, Sierra the technician I had was amazing and always kind and made sure I was ok and feeling alright while donating. Thank you so much for being awesome and so kind Sierra.

Place is a joke. Tried to donate twice but appointment only for new people. Go to CSL less hassle better service.

Was checking to see if their reviews have gotten any better, I guess not. Was going to go back, but it's almost just as far for me to go to Flint BioLife and take my chances there. And please don't bother with one of your automatic responses, it doesn't help the perception people have of you. Update: stupid me, tried to go, but their doctors(?) have no idea what they are doing! I stopped going there because after having the same psoriasis for the 5 months they all of a sudden decided I couldn't donate unt

Accord to management they really don't care about customer service. Per the manager, "it's good enough." Six check in computers and only two are working. Slowest process in town.

Was told to come in on a Saturday when I called Friday. Trying to make sure I can buy Christmas presents this year. Was told they were not taking new patients and to come in on Monday between 8-3. I have a job. Left and went to a competitor.

I was going to try this place instead of CSL. Bad plan. They wouldn't take me almost 2 hours before close because they "don't have the staff." I wasn't greeted or even acknowledged beyond a glance for nearly 10 minutes after I came in. The employee I spoke to was rude and short with me, as well. I'll stick with CSL.

I left CSL to go to Grifolds and am so happy I did. Way less of a wait, great staff and a clean atmosphere! Even chairs to sit in if you have to wait (rather than being hearded in like cattle at other places). Th manager of this location went the extra mile this 4th of July and cooked for the donars! A Togo box with your choice of pulled smoked chicken, all beef hot dogs or burgers it even came with a bag of chips, a package of gummies, a souffl? cup of baked beans and even a drink! 5 stars for these guys a

To be fair im not sure why this place has gotten bad reviews and who hurt you....but I went here yesterday and was greeted right away, the lady that helped me and did my intake was super nice and friendly. Both ladies that hooked me up to donate explained everything to me in detail because it was my very first time donating ever. My first time here was great.

Been here 3 days back to back to continue being told they are not taking new donors that day at all or they are done taking new donors for the rest of the day. Very displeased with their lack of work ethic and operating this business while making it difficult for the donors. Recommend going to CSL for any new donors.

Apparently I've missed 3 appointments because life happens and the boss denied me the ability to make a new appointment to get back to donating always changing rules and standards but only for the donors never for themselves. Worst group of plasma centers I've ever dealt with.

This place is the only reason I continue to donate. I've donated at their competitors site before and had impersonal and horrible service, not to mention their rates continue to go down. At Talecris they not only treat you with respect, but over time they invest in you, they remember you and care about your experience. I adore each of the staff members here, and enjoy bringing smiles to their faces through my quirkiness, especially when I find the staff members who match me in the goofy factor. I love being

Personally my experience with donating was great. I went as a first time donor and was quickly helped and made sure I both understood the process and got through it quickly. The building was very clean and comfortable and the WiFi was a plus when donating because I was able to watch videos on my phone. After the donation I was taken care of quickly and was repeatedly asked if i was alright before I left to make sure everything went well. Throughout the whole process the workers were great and personable and

I had an amazing experience here. Jay assisted me during the whole process and his customer service was wonderful. Even when he hurt me a little he still remain calm and confident which made me feel calm and confident. His puncture didn't leave a bruise . And the entire staff was friendly and welcoming which made me feel safe and cared for .

Nothing wrong with the staff or the service. But I had a guy walk in right before me didn't bother to check his temp or wash his hands before going to the kiosk and the main manager was standing behind the counter he had to of saw that and didn't say anything. That's a little ridiculous. Accountability: the fact or condition of being accountable; responsibility Don't be mad at the staff as they were busy screening donors this is not their issue

The pay is fantastic but.. the employees aren't all up to speed on everything that could affect your donation or protein levels or exactly why a blood sample failed when I had enough protein to donate that same day. And having to suffer financially for it when I get different answers from 5 different employees. Don't go unless you want to risk playing with debt and betrayal

If I could give zero stars I would! Went to donate for my first time and got declined and the people laughed in my face and whispered and gossiped then when I left went a filed a report against me

Got suck 4 times got deferd for no reason the manger told me to go to csl just because I didn't want to get poked a fifh time

I honestly adore the staff here. Everyone is super friendly and they remember who you are. Like I love that personal experience. Anyways they have been really fast and pay outs have been super nice, especially for new donors! 5/5 recommend

Teresa with blonde hair, you are a horrible employee, not only do you avoid people that were there first but you are very rude. You talked to other staff about the people who come in just cause someone doesn't want to be poked by you. I hope you get fired because you purposely did the things you did cause your feelings got hurt.

I like the friendly staff. Don't have too long of a wait if you get there early. Took a star away for the times they've readjusted the needle?? ???? Don't forget 7-10 days for blood work results. Edit: taking away yet another star. Was supposed to get a bonus and didn't. Tried to call and nothing. I know they weren't busy at all as I was just there. Left a message and no return call. I guess they expect me to drive there again to straighten it out. I will keep editing if needed.

If you got a time lapse bonus within the last week dont bother trying to use it. I got an email yesterday because i havent been there in months. Suppose to recieve a 25$ bonus but they didnt tell me until i was done that they werent going to honor it. There was no explination other than we arent doing lapse bonuses this month. Seems to be a scam to get people to come back and donate.

The head manager is the best employee talecris will ever have, great gentleman. The assistant manager on the other hand is why this review gets one star.. her attitude is trash, her customer service skills are outdated and as old as her. And her mouth seems to write checks her behind cannot cash.

I tried to donate here for the first time 2 weeks ago. Twice I have been here and havent been able to donate the first time was due to a family emergency I had. Then, they denied me to donate because it had been 5 hours since my last meal and I couldn't eat the peanut butter crackers. So, today I went in to donate just to be told that I am deferred and that I should find another plasma place because of a misunderstanding! Even after I had explained that my son has been in the hospital for 3 weeks now and I'

They have "the right to close" earlier than their posted hours, meaning whenever they want to. Drove a half an hour to donate only to find that they are falsely advertising their hours. I will not put up with garbage like this ever again. Nor should you.

Avoid this place at all costs!!!. I wouldn't go here because they are so unprofessional and unskilled. They're constantly changing their so called rules and regulations to avoid paying for your plasma. My wife went and donated today at 2pm and was done by 3pm, they close at 4 pm and my wife still haven't received her money. They actually told her if she doesn't receive it by 4pm then come back in some time before her next donation and they will pay her but we know they'll have an excuse for not paying her,

I should not have to wait to get my money 2nd time I had to come back for not getting paid after donating

Some staff are very undertrained and watched a young man stick 5 people including myself and all had no flow and had to have a more experienced staff member correct everyone he had stuck .I myself keep being deferred no excuses such as I have severe bruising on my arm when there was non. So I only get to donate once a week for the 40 dollar and then I get deferred the next time I am seeing this has now become a pattern as whats happening here and I am at a loss for the second pay and bonus every time now .

I have been donating plasma for over 10 years with an almost religious 2 times a week schedule, 5-6 different facilities. This center has be on par in most areas. Outside of the needlessly long wait time as a new donor (staff moving slowly, unmotivated). As with any company there are employees that just do the minimum, but I can say most of the staff I have interacted with have been great. I am still to new to this center to remember all their names but they definitely have some Rockstar staff, good at thei

Seemed better than csl for days... However they never answer the phone so I can't take a physical even though more than six months have elapsed. So much for medicine. If I had to complain about anything it would be the chairs at the screening booth they're very uncomfortable... Attitudes... Very very very very slow.

I arrived at 8am when the center opened, signed in and waited as usual. An unusual amount of time went by and my name had not been called yet so I went up to the desk to check my status in line and one of the staff members crossed my name off and never called me when it was my turn. When I told the lady my name had been crossed off and I had never been called to get screened, she seemed pretty apathetic to my displeasure and told me I would be "3 or 4 out". Another half hour went by and my name still wasn't

2 stars because they pay the most. Definitely not for being thorough, knowledgeable, caring or respectful. The employee's dont accept responsibility for their mistakes and even try to blame you for their mistakes. While having no idea what's going on. Management especially is rude and unconcerned about any inconvenience or misunderstanding regarding the false information staff gives. The "doctor" works when she wants apparently, so bloodwork isn't being processed and even if you "passed" can take 2 weeks t

My experience was overall very good to me it seems to depend on what time u come in been to talecris two times and both times was not a long wait of course there is people before u so I don't understand people's frustrating with waiting any businesses u go into there is a wait! The facility is clean and staff I accounted so far was wonderful so I will continue to go here! In my opinion keep up the good work.

I have been donating semi-regularly at Talecris / Grifols of Lansing for over a year. From the beginning until now, one thing has been clear - the qualify of the employees is what I would describe as "consistently inconsistent". Employee turnover is very high - a few familiar faces have stayed, but I've forgotten more employees than I can remember, as new employees are hired, trained, and then they're gone a few months later. Your experience as a donor depends entirely on the employees working at the tim

This is after 5 days of healing. This is from a poke from a trainee, they poked thru my vein and outside my skin. The very rude lady who works in the donation floor was training. She always acts superior and I asked when I walked in if I could see if I was on the list for the bonus because my phone has fell in the toliet. Just to check for me. She was rude and never checked I believe because she never told me either way. Then her and her trainee approached. Not even introducing her trainee. I told them both

Very friendly and professional staff?Thanks!

It was awful, the second time I was there as a new donor, I was supposed to be a VIP, and it took 2 hours to even find my chart because it was misplaced. Then on my third donation attempt the new kiosk systems they have put in to make things faster, kept coming up as an error that no one could figure out. Instead of telling me they didn't know what to do, they just let me sit in the lobby while they went about their day. No one even tried to figure out the problem, they were just going to let me sit there a

I have donated at Talecris Plasma Resources multiple times since 2018. The staff has always been friendly and worked with me. I believe that they are interested in making the process go by as safely and quickly as possible. Their current rates (08/2020) are very high and worth the time to donate. It is a win-win situation!

Absolutely horrible they change their computer system I set for 25 minutes without being seen with no explanation other than their updating their computer system yeah thanks for wasting my time

I came back as a new donor after a break from donating. Kandi, the RN doing my intake, was amazing. She answered all the questions I had regarding to changes the they had made, and was a joy to speak to. She made it a great experience all around.

The wait times are ridiculous. It took 6 hours as a new donor and the ONLY people that worked in the front who were at least apologetic and seemed to feel bad at all were the nurses. Even with the kiosk it still takes more than 3 hours. And with the screening booths being out in the open the screeners blurt out personal info for everyone to hear rather than being discreet about it.

I have been donating 2+ years and they have lost a regular donor. I was making appointments then told did not have to and today got turned away because they failed to notify people that you have to make them again. This is second time they done this to me. Had a new person already mess up my donation days. There is no customer loyalty to them.

The manager there is very rude and disrespectful. I will never ever come here again. He needs to learn how to respect people. If you don't like your job find a new one. Very VERY unprofessional. Highly dissatisfied. I wish I could give this 0 stars.

Nice place to donate just wish service here was more fast and convenient people end up sitting in lobby for almost 2 hours before they are called back hopefully soon management can get people in here to help i know it's hard keeping people around but hopefully this will change! UPDATE: went from 5 stars to 3 stars i literally have been calling about 5 times now and no one is answering i'm trying to get important information and i feel i shouldnt have to drive there just to find out. It would be better if t

This plasma donation center has turned into the most professional and the best program for processing donors Ive had the pleasure of visiting ever. It has taken a couple of years to put together how to interview, test,And donate. That I have been able to walk in. Then step up to the kiosk. Get my B.P. and pulse And test my blood in 10 minutes or less. If you are well hydrated. Its very possible to then donate in 40 minutes. Today I did 42 minutes. Plus 10min. Checking in. I did the process in 52 minutes. Its

Would not recommend visiting this location under any circumstances, especially if you are a new donor. Every time I've been, they have a new excuse as to why they can't do my physical. I have had several employees intentionally talk me out of donating at their location to save themselves the trouble. Management staff seem to disregard complaints.

They properly then it tank my information of my tattoo the last time that I want .which is Not my fault... Then I waited there for 3 hours. After expressed my frustration. Just to be told that I drove all the way from Laingsburg Michigan which is over half an hour away. That I cannot donate because of my Proteins . I feel like I was purposely turned away. I feel as if I was so harassed and mistreated.... Worst experience will never go there again.....

After coming here over 3 yrs (haven't been in a couple mths) was told I have to get entered into a "new" system, ok no problem. After an hour I am told I cannot donate because I was "deferred " 12 yrs ago in another center. I'm sorry but if I have BEEN donating and no issues that should not be a problem and After thinking it out I was not even in the state of Michigan in 2005. I think this is completely unfair

They tell new donors to be prepared to spend 3 hours there... EVERY ONE spends at least 3 hours there. The staff is friendly, but things don't seem to flow well. They are usually only using 2 screening booths at a time.

This place use to have 3 stars from me just for the people that actually did work and tried to make it a good experience. The new building is nice enough to sit in for the long process you are about to go thru if you decide to donate plasma here. I have heard some pretty racist stuff come out of employees mouths here (and that is with an 's' because I've heard about 4 of them say something unbecoming). The management team is probably one of the poorest around, it's almost like they took 5 or 6 people that

Talecris Plasma Resources Lansing is great! The staff do a wonderful job of screening you and ensuring you are comfortable. The management team is also very attentive and friendly. It's the smoothest process I've been through to donate. I recommend donors to go there every opportunity I get.

The staff are polite, however, the wait times are insane. Even CSL Plasma takes half the time. Today I went to Talecris, waited 90 minutes, and hadn't even gone to the first screening room yet. Also, I noticed other people were able to go ahead of me? I asked twice as to why, and was given poor answers. I left, and I won't be coming back. I only go on days off, and I don't want to spend the entire day sitting in that scummy room.

Don't trust them! They lie about their payment fees when it suits them! I just finished my fourth donation as a new donor, and was told I would be receiving 75 dollars. After waiting for 4 hours and being told the problem was with an override on the payment card because I was receiving 75 for being a new donor, I received 38. After calling and complaining about not receiving all the money they promised me they refused to honor their promotional payment fees. So if someone is calling you and telling you, you

Had a good time talking to staff

We normally donate at CSL but decided to try here because it's closer. my son was told his veins aren't strong enough. He has donated twice a week for 2 yrs. What a joke. I guess we will stay with CSL

Very professional, try to get you in and out in a timely manner. Everyone has good customer service and Josh goes above the call of duty to make me feel welcome everytime i come in . Definately would advise someone to donate.

I was told I could not donate because I was on Metformin. I researched this and it said there is no high risk if under control. It has been under control for over 15 yrs. And I have donated plasma else where with no problems. The lady at the front desk was rude. Like I was a bother. Not happy, since I drove over 30 mins to get there.

First of all, I want to openly apologize for any negative experiences anyone has had and me and my team at talecris are working HARD to ensure you all have a posative experience! You as a donor matter! We want you to know that we take our initiative of saveing lives seriously and that we care about your opinion. If there is anything me or the staff can do to change that please be upfront with us and let us know! In this business we have to constantly make adjustments to the needs of our donors and were will

I absolutely love this place I cannot wait to donate some need to perfect the job more better but everyone is new and younger ready to make you feel better while you donate they're very good at making sure me and other donors don't sleep during bigger cash bonuses could really help everyone ask me

It was nice seeing everyone today!! Then getting deferred again because my pulse was too high!! I especially liked the fact that I lost out on the 45$ bonus for 8 visits. I mean 7. Anyhow like I said it was nice seeing everyone!!!

not only did I wait 4 hours as a new donor before my physical, but the lady that did my physical, Kandy, was very racist and made a very inappropriate remark (that I should tell people my scar on my neck is from having " a Muslim boyfriend"). little did she know, I am Arab and took huge offense to this. when I tried calling to speak to management, no one answered for 10 minutes before I finally hung up. I am NOT impressed.

This review is after their relocation to the corner of S MLK Jr Blvd and W Holmes Rd. The entire process screams inefficient and is in dire need of improvement more than ever before. Donating currently takes upwards of 4 hours for returning donors and 5+ hours for first timers. Some of the staff and most of the management is very militant and unprofessional given the slow and impatient process that everyone endures all day everyday. They need to replace most of the staff and hire more then do more of what C

Always very professional, caring, personable and fast! Best way to earn extra money for whatever you are saving up for or extra bill money. A couple hours of your day that pays really well!

From week to week they decide if they are giving new donors bonuses. This week they are not. Wonder who's siphoning that money off the top?

I just love Jay!!! Never feel his needle and his positive outlook is infectious. Being here is always a more upbeat experience when he is around. This guy does more than just take care of business!!!

The people that work at telecris are highly trained and experienced. Please don't get angry or belligerent with them they have government issued rules the have to adhere by and no one gets special treatment. They move very effectively and as quickly as possible. People have bad days everywhere they are no different. So before you get pissed about being deferred. Think about it before you go apeshit on them They are just doing their job!!

I've been going to Grifols for2 years , anytime I have an issue, concern or just needs laugh . Josh is there to brighten all the donors up , not only does he have a great personality he's always willing to take a minute to make sure you are comfortable. Employees like this are far & few . Josh keep up all you do !!

Went to try donating here after having issues at CSL Plasma and was told I couldn't donate today because they were just excepting the last two donors and the staff that does the physicals leave at 4pm even though they don't close until 7:30pm. Though I completely understand being short staffed and will try coming another day cause I do want to try here and see if they are better than CSL... I don't get how y?all want new donors but have the staff that does physicals for new donors leave 3.5 hrs before y?all

The workers are nice...i personally only have creation people I prefer to hook me up to donate n that's Josh Retia n some who gose by MeMe every one else who sticks me, ends up making it hurt, n get it in the scar tissue were as the other 3 make sure to get it in the new hole. I also prefer when then 3 unhook me form the machine when I'm done donating bc it dnt hurt that bad when they unhook me either, as when other people unhook me. I also think that it sometimes takes to long for us to sing our folders n

I just started back at talecris recently. I have along history of donating, there for I can be a difficult stick. Today Josh did the stick he had done it before with no problems but today didn't work out. I ended up losing my red cells and having to deferred for 56 days. Josh exhibited excellent customer service, and remained calm and pleasant throughout this stressful situation. One of your other employees however felt that this was a good time to stand at the end of the bed a become confrontational with m

I think this place is absolutely fantastic the workers are knowledgeable friendly and well-versed in the medical field everybody seems very friendly the three main people I have met so far are Ayla Michaela and Kyle and they are absolutely incredible the best phlebotomist that I have met is magical at her job I did not even feel her poke my skin can't wait to be a lifelong member!!

I changed my mind after further review Grifols is way better and faster than CSL I'm in and out in less than 40 minutes at Talecris compared to 2+ hours at CSL.CSL pays better but if you compare time you get more money per hour at Talecris

Not very efficient and backed up all the time, donors not paying attention when their names are called, or leaving the building without telling anyone and keeping others waiting while the ones who left are set back Just incase they will be back. They need more help in front and in the back, they don't have enough efficient workers.

Worst experience ever!! Went in 3 times, and each time was given a different BS reason as to why I couldn't donate that day. Also promised extra funds but NONE of the managers made good on those promises of their employees. They lure people in with higher paying rates than CSL, but then turn many away for mistakes made on their part! Bad business practices!!

I have been donating for a while now at another plasma center and I can honestly say that telecris is the best one I have been to. The staff is very friendly and they actually know how to stick my difficult vains. They get it in one try and thats impressive!

This place does nothing but lie and commit fraud, furthermore if any one of you know some who was sent a bonus text message from them, but telecris did not honor it, please contact me asap, I am putting together a class action law suit for fraud against them. Tell ur family and friends do not go there, if they need to donate go to CSL, they are much more efficient and they honor there word.

They are notorious for bad pokes, they will let you continue to beep even if you assure them that something is wrong. I don't know if they aren't trained properly or just don't care. Either way terrible experience. CSL is definitely your best option.
