STAY AWAY! DECEPTIVE! I had 2 interactions with this place. Both on the phone with the same receptionist. Not sure if she had too much THC or what is going on. The reason for my review is her lies. It only takes the 2 sentences from her mouth to realize she is not honest. Why would I even come in if y'all are being represented by a shady individual. What are you doing behind the scenes if this is how you treat people on the phone? "Hi, I am a new donor. How much are you paying?" "$60" "Okay have a good day"

The process is a bit long - but once you get started it goes by quickly. Hannah and Melinda are great. Also, a blonde whose name I didn't catch helped me with ice and she was very sweet.

The app tells me I have been deferred so I call to find out what is going on. I called for thirty minutes because no one in this building will pick up the phone. I don't leave a message because I don't believe they check it. Communication is and has been a frustration here. I sit here absolutely unable to communicate with this company in 2025 because no one has the job of answering the phone. I'll try the home office.

It's not to bad but they don't honor bonuses because there not verified if it's there actual website when it goes only to the main website. Update the big guy here is a ass: he wouldn't give me my bonus money when they others said they would honor it. This is why they don't have what other places do bc they don't give every pay or bonus out. Always in and out, staff is great and the pokers are AMAZING I have rolling veins and I can never tell when they poke me it's amazing and clean here. This place is absolutely horrible. A group of young people who stand around talking about people. Sticking multiple times til they get it right. Once in a while you'll get lucky and get a person who likes their job. The new lady whom is titled manager is un professional and needs out of there. Was told to come in on a Saturday when I called Friday. Trying to make sure I can buy Christmas presents this year. Was told they were not taking new patients and to come in on Monday between 8-3. I have a job. Left and went to a competitor.

I was going to try this place instead of CSL. Bad plan. They wouldn't take me almost 2 hours before close because they "don't have the staff." I wasn't greeted or even acknowledged beyond a glance for nearly 10 minutes after I came in. The employee I spoke to was rude and short with me, as well. I'll stick with CSL.

I left CSL to go to Grifolds and am so happy I did. Way less of a wait, great staff and a clean atmosphere! To be fair im not sure why this place has gotten bad reviews and who hurt you....but I went here yesterday and was greeted right away, the lady that helped me and did my intake was super nice and friendly. Both ladies that hooked me up to donate explained everything to me in detail because it was my very first time donating ever. My first time here was great.

Been here 3 days back to back to continue being told they are not taking new donors that day at all or they are done taking new donors for the rest of the day. Very displeased with their lack of work ethic and operating this business while making it difficult for the donors. Recommend going to CSL for any new donors.

Personally my experience with donating was great. I went as a first time donor and was quickly helped and made sure I both understood the process and got through it quickly. The building was very clean and comfortable and the WiFi was a plus when donating because I was able to watch videos on my phone. After the donation I was taken care of quickly and was repeatedly asked if i was alright before I left to make sure everything went well. I had an amazing experience here. Jay assisted me during the whole process and his customer service was wonderful. Even when he hurt me a little he still remain calm and confident which made me feel calm and confident. His puncture didn't leave a bruise . And the entire staff was friendly and welcoming which made me feel safe and cared for .

Nothing wrong with the staff or the service. But I had a guy walk in right before me didn't bother to check his temp or wash his hands before going to the kiosk and the main manager was standing behind the counter he had to of saw that and didn't say anything. The pay is fantastic but.. the employees aren't all up to speed on everything that could affect your donation or protein levels or exactly why a blood sample failed when I had enough protein to donate that same day. And having to suffer financially for it when I get different answers from 5 different employees. Don't go unless you want to risk playing with debt and betrayal

You talked to other staff about the people who come in just cause someone doesn't want to be poked by you. If you got a time lapse bonus within the last week dont bother trying to use it. I got an email yesterday because i havent been there in months. Suppose to recieve a 25$ bonus but they didnt tell me until i was done that they werent going to honor it. There was no explination other than we arent doing lapse bonuses this month. The head manager is the best employee talecris will ever have, great gentleman. The assistant manager on the other hand is why this review gets one star.. her attitude is trash, her customer service skills are outdated and as old as her. And her mouth seems to write checks her behind cannot cash.

I tried to donate here for the first time 2 weeks ago. Twice I have been here and havent been able to donate the first time was due to a family emergency I had. Some staff are very undertrained and watched a young man stick 5 people including myself and all had no flow and had to have a more experienced staff member correct everyone he had stuck .I myself keep being deferred no excuses such as I have severe bruising on my arm when there was non. So I only get to donate once a week for the 40 dollar and then I get deferred the next time I am seeing this has now become a pattern as whats happening here and I am at a loss for the second pay and bonus every time now .

I have been donating plasma for over 10 years with an almost religious 2 times a week schedule, 5-6 different facilities. This center has be on par in most areas. Outside of the needlessly long wait time as a new donor (staff moving slowly, unmotivated). Seemed better than csl for days... However they never answer the phone so I can't take a physical even though more than six months have elapsed. So much for medicine. An unusual amount of time went by and my name had not been called yet so I went up to the desk to check my status in line and one of the staff members crossed my name off and never called me when it was my turn. I have donated at Talecris Plasma Resources multiple times since 2018. The staff has always been friendly and worked with me. I believe that they are interested in making the process go by as safely and quickly as possible. Their current rates (08/2020) are very high and worth the time to donate. It is a win-win situation!

I came back as a new donor after a break from donating. Kandi, the RN doing my intake, was amazing. She answered all the questions I had regarding to changes the they had made, and was a joy to speak to. She made it a great experience all around.

The wait times are ridiculous. It took 6 hours as a new donor and the ONLY people that worked in the front who were at least apologetic and seemed to feel bad at all were the nurses. Even with the kiosk it still takes more than 3 hours. And with the screening booths being out in the open the screeners blurt out personal info for everyone to hear rather than being discreet about it.

I have been donating 2+ years and they have lost a regular donor. I was making appointments then told did not have to and today got turned away because they failed to notify people that you have to make them again. This is second time they done this to me. Had a new person already mess up my donation days. There is no customer loyalty to them.

This plasma donation center has turned into the most professional and the best program for processing donors Ive had the pleasure of visiting ever. It has taken a couple of years to put together how to interview,test,And donate. That I have been able to walk in. Then step up to the kiosk. Get my B.P. and pulse And test my blood in 10 minutes or less. If you are well hydrated. Its very possible to then donate in 40 minutes. Today I did 42 minutes. Plus 10min. Checking in. Would not recommend visiting this location under any circumstances, especially if you are a new donor. Every time I've been, they have a new excuse as to why they can't do my physical. I have had several employees intentionally talk me out of donating at their location to save themselves the trouble. Management staff seem to disregard complaints.

After coming here over 3 yrs (haven't been in a couple mths) was told I have to get entered into a "new" system, ok no problem. After an hour I am told I cannot donate because I was "deferred " 12 yrs ago in another center. They tell new donors to be prepared to spend 3 hours there... EVERY ONE spends at least 3 hours there. The staff is friendly, but things don't seem to flow well. They are usually only using 2 screening booths at a time.

Talecris Plasma Resources Lansing is great! The staff do a wonderful job of screening you and ensuring you are comfortable. The management team is also very attentive and friendly. It's the smoothest process I've been through to donate. I recommend donors to go there every opportunity I get.

The staff are polite, however, the wait times are insane. Even CSL Plasma takes half the time. Today I went to Talecris, waited 90 minutes, and hadn't even gone to the first screening room yet. Also, I noticed other people were able to go ahead of me? I asked twice as to why, and was given poor answers. I left, and I won't be coming back. I only go on days off, and I don't want to spend the entire day sitting in that scummy room.

I was told I could not donate because I was on Metformin. I researched this and it said there is no high risk if under control. It has been under control for over 15 yrs. And I have donated plasma else where with no problems. The lady at the front desk was rude. Like I was a bother. Not happy, since I drove over 30 mins to get there.

This review is after their relocation to the corner of S MLK Jr Blvd and W Holmes Rd. The entire process screams inefficient and is in dire need of improvement more than ever before. Donating currently takes upwards of 4 hours for returning donors and 5+ hours for first timers. The people that work at telecris are highly trained and experienced. Please don't get angry or belligerent with them they have government issued rules the have to adhere by and no one gets special treatment. They move very effectively and as quickly as possible. I've been going to Grifols for2 years , anytime I have an issue, concern or just needs laugh . Josh is there to brighten all the donors up , not only does he have a great personality he's always willing to take a minute to make sure you are comfortable. Employees like this are far & few . Went to try donating here after having issues at CSL Plasma and was told I couldn't donate today because they were just excepting the last two donors and the staff that does the physicals leave at 4pm even though they don't close until 7:30pm. Though I completely understand being short staffed and will try coming another day cause I do want to try here and see if they are better than CSL... I don't get how y?all want new donors but have the staff that does physicals for new donors leave 3.5 hrs before y?all

The workers are nice...i personally only have creation people I prefer to hook me up to donate n that's Josh Retia n some who gose by MeMe every one else who sticks me, ends up making it hurt, n get it in the scar tissue were as the other 3 make sure to get it in the new hole. Today Josh did the stick he had done it before with no problems but today didn't work out. I ended up losing my red cells and having to deferred for 56 days. I think this place is absolutely fantastic the workers are knowledgeable friendly and well-versed in the medical field everybody seems very friendly the three main people I have met so far are Ayla Michaela and Kyle and they are absolutely incredible the best phlebotomist that I have met is magical at her job I did not even feel her poke my skin can't wait to be a lifelong member!!

I changed my mind after further review Grifols is way better and faster than CSL I'm in and out in less than 40 minutes at Talecris compared to 2+ hours at CSL.CSL pays better but if you compare time you get more money per hour at Talecris

Not very efficient and backed up all the time, donors not paying attention when their names are called, or leaving the building without telling anyone and keeping others waiting while the ones who left are set back Just incase they will be back. They need more help in front and in the back, they don't have enough efficient workers.

Worst experience ever!! Went in 3 times, and each time was given a different BS reason as to why I couldn't donate that day. Also promised extra funds but NONE of the managers made good on those promises of their employees. They lure people in with higher paying rates than CSL, but then turn many away for mistakes made on their part! Bad business practices!!

I have been donating for a while now at another plasma center and I can honestly say that telecris is the best one I have been to. The staff is very friendly and they actually know how to stick my difficult vains. They get it in one try and thats impressive!

This place does nothing but lie and commit fraud, furthermore if any one of you know some who was sent a bonus text message from them, but telecris did not honor it, please contact me asap, I am putting together a class action law suit for fraud against them. They are notorious for bad pokes, they will let you continue to beep even if you assure them that something is wrong. I don't know if they aren't trained properly or just don't care. Either way terrible experience. CSL is definitely your best option.
