Grifols Talecris Plasma Donation Center Little Rock, AR

I went to donate for the first yesterday and my expectations were exceeded. The staff is very friendly and helpful. That seem to really enjoy their jobs. The donating portion went very smooth. Once you are done you immediately get paid. It took about 2.5 hours to complete the process as a new donor but once you've completed the first one, it will not take as long the following appointments. Walked away with $125 while also making a difference. Thank you guys!!!

I love this center compared to Octapharma and CSL! They are speedy and friendly. The app makes things a lot easier too. I love how they go by appointments instead of having people wait 2 hours before they even get stuck.

Gabby is exceptional. Dom and Heaven are the sweetest. I seriously cannot remember the other names but the entire floor team is exceptional. The ladies in the booth make you feel very welcome as well. They talk to you like you're a friend.

Yesterday after 6 years in little rock n more from fort smith I decided I will no longer be going to this business last week I was informed how dirty I was I needed go home wash my clothes shower wash my hair then I could return upon returning yesterday a have a red spot from thin skin the same woman gets nurse who is brand new n he informed me well I don't know who lets u donate with that on ur arm I said my doctor said it's thin skin people get as they age nurse well I don't know what's leaking into ur ar

I donated plasma for my first time ever and it was a good experience! The staff are nice and knowledgeable. I waited about 20 minutes before I saw a tech and did my intake assessment. I then went to the back and got hooked up to the machine. It took me about an hour and a half to do everything. They gave me a paycard and I was able to go to Walgreens and withdraw it immediately. Went on a Friday and had a great experience. It was my first time donating and unfortunately it took a while but that was expected. Everyone was super nice and friendly and very informative on how the process works. Win win situation as you get to help people who need plasma and you also get paid for it. I showed up as a walk in and got told it would take 2-4hours to even be seen. I got told to come back the next day when they open. I showed up 10mins after they open I get told it's gonna take 2-4hours because they only have 1 nurse and they said come back tomorrow because more will be in. So again I showed up the following day to donate. Did everything they said drink a lot of water and eat before coming in. We went today got told the same shit about only one nurse but they checked out veins and then immed

So many things I could list about this place. Very unprofessional behavior amongst many of the staff, blasting of music like everyone listens to the same thing, only a couple of the phlebotomist could barely stick me. Won't be returning. Btwz went to Octopharma and no issues with being stuck from any of their staff!

So I came and donated today and had to wait to get screened cause she had a attitude problem and issues with me putting my arm back in my hoody so I can put my stuff back in my front pocket! So she talks rude to me infront her supervisor and the supervisor told her to be quiet but she keep talking rude about nothing cause I could of took my arm right back out of my hoody it's not my fault is real busy today u treat people how u want to be treated because her attitude was not called for!! 07/12/24@10:44am

After having a bad experience at CSL, I decided to wait a few weeks and change over to this place due to the positive reviews. Unfortunately, this place was worse!!! I donated 2 times, and upon the 3rd time at check in, I am notified that there is a pause put on my ability to donate due to a test flagging my blood for a potential disease from the 1st donation... Was told that it was sent for further testing, and that I would have to wait for those results to come back Negative before I could donate again.

Got to have a appointment my was for 10:45 its now 11:45 and still waiting this appointment shit it crap worked smoother with out it

This place is horrible. As a donor for 9 plus years this is by far the worst experience I've had at a donation center. Each time I go the staff are constantly understaffed. And slow. . Which makes your donation process incredibly slow. Do not make any plans on your donation day my last 20 times I've been stuck 2-3 hours just before anyone sees you. And that's everyone who walks in the door. They definitely need to hire more people or change their system because a hour or 2 process at the most. Is a 5_6 h

They need more people the wait it's around 1hr. 30min to get processed, 1hr to donate. I doit for the money but also because I'm a super healthy person so I like to donate for people that is suffering. But is not worth it I would rather work 4 hrs for 100 bucks.

I currently donate off and on for about the last 5 months, but I did as well years ago for a continuous length of time. I really never had a bad experience there. I did have a severely bruised arm once but that happens, for no fault. All in all I would definitely recommend Talecris.

They won't tell you what they pay for donations over the phone, lol. They want to bait you in so you feel more obligated to follow through because you are already there and have wasted time. Very clever tactic. The only plasma center that won't tell you what you will be paid. Very shady business practices. Be careful here!

First time donor was quick and easy process. My second donation is another story. Was there at 7 am as the sign on the door says they open at 7. Only to find out it opens at 9 on Mondays. Came back at 845. Waited in line was number 9 on the list. 30 minutes after entering the building my name was called for vitals. Vitals were good. I will never return to this place. They lie to you about what you get paid for donating. The techs in the back are more worried about dancing and singing rather than taking care of you. My tech didn't know what she was doing. I have very good veins and she claimed she was scared to stick me. She admitted she didn't get the needle all the way in, but proceeded with my donation. I donated two weeks ago and my arm is killing me. I can't touch the area because it's swollen, bruised and tender to the touch.

I love donating at Talecris! All of the staff have always been very friendly to me. The phlebotomist's are excellent at what they do- I have never had ANY problems and will continue to give plasma at the location on Colonel Glenn Road.

This is the most professionally plasma center! I have been donating for years. This is the best location I have experienced. The workers are some of my favorite people. It's a great place for meeting new people from places you've never been. The extra money comes in very handy.

Staff is really good, but don't believe their promotions. I was told I'd get a referral bonus for my sister after she was classified as a "new donor" again, but I was just told that she has to have never donated there for me to qualify for the referral bonus. In other words, they don't honor their agreements. Otherwise, I have no issue with the staff.

Absolutely bad. They are in need of recalibration on their machine's. I have seen that every time I am there they turn around half of the people that come in due to the blood pressure machines. I had a Dr visit the same day and when I donate 30 off. It's redicoulos. I'm new to this place, I have been donating plasma for over twenty years. Don't trust this place.

Today was my 5th visit at the Talecris plasma center here in Little Rock, Arkansas. My first,two visits went good I didn't have any problems with my sticks I was stuck by both male phlebotomist which sticks were good no stinging or burning smooth flow each cycle they did a really great job. My third, visit a female she looked Hispanic and black or mixed. She was heavy handed and with pressure stucked the needle in so hard I made a uncomfortable out burst, that visit the black heavy set lady in intake #1 boo

My only complaint is there's no way to make an appointment so some days it takes 3 hrs some times its 45 min. Love the phlebotomy techs. They're amazing

This is the best center I have been too hands down. Everyone is very professional and nice. Ever since John has taken over the center it's continuously improved. I have been donating for years now and the staff is one of the reasons I haven't left. The pay is really good to! Highly recommend.

I had been going to this place for over 6 months, until a couple of weeks ago. They told me their test of my recent blood indicated I had a std. Which was a surprise to me, because I hadn't had any sexual conduct for well over a year. The nurse told me they do have false positive results and that I should have my doctor's do a independent blood test. So, I'm really confused. I go to my doctor's office and show them the paperwork. Extremely long wait times. Guaranteed to be here for a minimum of 2 hours every time you donate. They have a bad habit of "losing" your charts and don't say anything until you ask... they circle your name then move on to everyone else. Most of the employees have bad attitudes. Would not recommend.

They now give out a SIGNIFICANTLY lower amount of money on the first donation, they just went through firing most of their staff(or they walked out?) And most of the people there now don't even know how to do intake properly, and the people that they DO have there rn aren't enough to keep the place properly staffed, and the wait times have TRIPLED despite switching to a newer system that's supposedly better

STAFF BEHAVIOR = 8.5/10: I donated plasma at Talecris from ~2007-2010 and just started donating again in 09/2017. I've never had a problem with the staff; they've always been nice. Of course there's a lot of banter between staff members (particularly the phlebotomists) but that doesn't bother me; everyone socializes on the job (it's part of being human). I donated Tuesday morning, went shopping and received a message giving me an extra $25 on my first donation of the week. I went back to grifols and was told the manager was at lunch togive them 39 minutes and they would have the money on acct.

Every time I come, they r unprofessional. It was me and a black grl who came in after me at the counter and she was helped before me. It was like I didn't exist until she walked up. The staff, including the security guard is loud and cussing. Go to Conway and don't waste ur time being treated and hearded like cattle.

Almost every time I go to this plasma center I am skipped over while they deal with people who came in after me and I never say anything but enough is enough. Today I was placed on a bed and two people came up after me and got on a bed. When the lady asked who was first I raised my hand but the other two people still got stuck before I did. Slow AF. Staff stand around talking instead of hooking people up or unhooking them. Even when they aren't busy they are still going to make it be a 4 hour ordeal.

I was recommended to a young black man named Rachez because he was said to be very good at his job however his negligence and refusal to adjust the machine and equipment that was on my person after request, my vein blew and I now have permanent nerve damage in my left leg. legal action will be taken and I suggest that if this sounds familiar

The lab opens at 7am on Saturday but there is a line of about 22 or more people waiting outside after being told their will be a 30 minute wait for them to open for business. Very inconsiderate of the donors time. No explanation for the delay.

They seem to have a full staff most of the time and usually get you in and out within a couple hours but sometimes there's so many folks coming in that you're just going to have to wait. For the most part, I like coming to this center and folks are friendly!!

I wouldn't even give them one star cuz all they do is stand around talking to each other instead of paying attention to any of the donors. So me and my boyfriend decided that we are never coming back to this place ever again. This is the worst place you could ever go to because they don't respect their customers.

These employees are undeniably untrained, unsupervised and ill mannered. Seemed like a rewarding experience so we drove two hours to get here to donate plasma but the front desk waved her arm and mumbled, "We are not taking new donors. Not needing new donors today." Tried to explain the situation but she mumbled the same thing again. Sitting here in a room overflowing with doners but I'm the only person that's not being allowed to fill out the questionnaire or even talk.

Talecris is a excellent place to donate at it's also the most high paying plasma in the state of Arkansas. Talecris also keeps you informed on your health such as your HC,protein,blood pressure, & your weight. I been donating sense I was 18yrs old & I'm not switching to any plasma center.

If there was a 3 1/2 star that's what this would be. Personally the staff except for a select few are a bit incompetent, led to being told I was a new donor even though I was a returning donor but the supervisors are good about their work. Compensated me for an undue wait.

Bottom line I have going to Telechris since 2011 never no problems til today 6-23-2017. Lot friendlier than other plasma center's it's 10/12/2019 and thanks to last weeks donation my arm is red where they stuck the needle in to far. Not bruised bet red. Maybe have three people there that stick you right. They weren't there last time so had to get the wrong person. The Colonel Glenn location is amazing. The best phlebotomist are Julius& Bryon and & mahogany, they definitely need a raise.

They have terrible customer service experience not like to answer the phone even when they know someone's calling that take the phone off the hook and then you hit the busy signal terrible terrible service when it comes down to customer service we'll take buses to their so they want to know what time the place close and they can't even call because they take the phone off the hook I have called 9 times three in which they had the phone off the hook still haven't answered terrible customer service

Blood pressure machine will read incorrect as high and then you'll be deferred for 1 day when your blood pressure isn't high. Taking blood pressure manually needs to be an option
