Customer Reviews

I have donated at Grifols in Port Huron 111 times at this time of writing. I've been going fairly consistently twice a week, and I've had a great experience every time. Of course I'm donating for the extra money, but donating is also a great experience because of how friendly the staff are. I've had wonderful interactions with them all, and I look forward to visiting every time!

Hands down best place ever tavia Henry Jake dayna and a few others that don't want mentioned are some of the most caring people ever they make you feel welcome and like family I am deathly afraid of needles I tense up and Mumble JFC they pay no never mind to that and always make sure that I am okay I would never go to the North End because they stink at sticking people I've been here since 17 thanks team for all the good laughs and getting me thru the process as best as possible special thanks to Sal for be

First of all they are always short staffed and the employees are overwhelmed and complaining. Second they are using the bait and switch by calling customers and telling them that since they haven't been in over a month that you qualify for a $50 bonus on your first visit of the week. So I went in told the staff that I was called to come in for the bonus and they told me to just mention it after I donate. After I donate I am told that they can't find my bonus give them 24 hrs and I should have it, well now i

I love this center. Donating here is one of the things I look forward to, the staff are all great and easy to talk to. Sticks go easy here, and the compensation is better than nothing. Come save a life and earn some money today, and maybe make some new friends while you're here.

This location is good! You feel safe, especially if you have tricky veins staff are always nice welcoming, they seem experienced which made my visit comfortable and pleasant. I appreciate how caring they were thru the process I was nervous . The $$ is not as good as it was but it still helps out.Only if you're new or refer somone but give out bonus once in a while ?? ??

I gave one star only because zeros not an option. I have been having the roughest time with life ever at 42 years old this year. I have made three trips to the center and turned away once because I didn't have an appointment and twice because I made an appointment online. They told me I needed to make an appointment with a representative as a new donor. An appointment was made this morning for 12:30 p.m. needless to say I made it to the physical part of the appointment and I was advised I'd have to come bac

I've been going to Grifols, for some time now. the staff is very helpful and friendly and respectful... There a few times I had my questions but for the most part I'd recommend Grifols to everyone id know

Absolutely the friendliest staff, the cleanest donation center I've ever stepped foot in. I walked into 2-other centers and walked right back out. I have nothing but GREAT things to say about this facility:) Extremely organized, one can tell they take great pride in their facility

Everyone is so nice here and so professional, I never have any problems donating my plasma. It makes me feel very good that I am able to do this for the community.

This place was cool to go to at first but the last two times I went to donate I got turned away and told to come back after I had to have my doctor complete paperwork for a new medication. I then had it filled out and faxed last week but never received any news of any issues with it so I decided to go back today to try again but supposedly they didn't keep track of the paper being faxed, thankgod I took the original copy with me in case and sure enough they wanted to see it because the lady said they haven'

The entire staff is very thorough ,very professional ,haven't had any problems after 7 visits ,Highly recommend this place if you want to donate and make a little money on the side ??

The staff are always polite and friendly. I enjoy the relationships I built with them. It's always a good experience! Thank you guys

Everyone moves efficiently, very clean and the staff is great! Very friendly and personable ?? makes it very easy to donate here

My experience is really good at this place. The staff are great and there's never a wait when I go.

They work the stuffing out of their phlebotomist and they are constantly changing their system to save thee minutes. It's clean and the phlebotomists are awesome.

Very friendly staff treated me very well answered my questions on my first day donating but I would like to know since I'm still a new donor and only went once and got to donate but second time I couldn't cuz of my pulse was 113 and they told me to come back the next day which I didn't cuz something came up will I be still a new donor?

This place is one of the most magical locations in all of Port Huron. The staff is incredible, you are always waited on by beautiful ladies and friendly faces! It's always a great day at Grifols! Selena and Tammy have the magic touch!

Always treated with respect so friendly and can joke and laugh overall great experience

Very friendly and helpful I recommend Grifols to everyone who watch to help people and make a little extra cash doing it!

I've been going here since last year in November. I like the staff alot more now then when I first started going there back in 2017 when they opened. Tammy&Mackayla are my favorite.I've never had a bad experience. The Women's bathroom is clean. There are not long wait times at all. If you want to help people out&are not afraid of needles, donate here.Be sure to drink enough fluids the day before donating &the day you donate so you won't have any problems. Also make sure you eat a healthy meal before you donate

Fast friendly and thorough. They're the best..all of them

They pretend to care about the donors, about it is nothing more than for show. I know because they put my weight 60lbs higher than it is, I donated more than I should have, and they never followed up with me to see if I was ok, they never compensated me for "their" mistake. Additionally, there is no consistency with the medical staff. Some are super strict, others not so much. Very frustrating

Highly recommend, I've had the best experience at grifols ????

This place is terrible giving out false positives on blood tests scaring people into thinking they have a disease.place is very dirty I highly recommend going elsewhere

It used to be a good place to donate at. However, now the wait times are exceedingly long and they have been lowering the pay you receive for multiple months in row. Until they can fix their short staffing issues and start bringing the pay back, I wouldn't waste your time. They also fired all the good looking staff that used to work there (except Tammy, she will rev your engine like a Suzuki Katona 600).

Very good, professional, and greeting with a wonderful smile ?? ??

Can't stand this place. They don't offer shit anymore. Was worth going I'd say not anymore. The staff are all stuck up and move really really slow. The higher ups are way worse. If it wasn't so far I'd be going to CSL in the north end

They make $2000 per bag of plasma and they give $55 to the donar hmmmmm I'd say the donors getting used and under compensated .....Most of the nurses don't know what there doing, they have obsolete equipment and they are very rude and cannot put the needle in your vain without goin thru the other side and it hurts every time.. and they talk about the donors like there scum behind there back... and tell me how when I get my vitals checked it'll say 134 and then I tell them to run it again rightaway and it's

Nice friendly and timely center highly recommend!

This place is a joke. CSL is much better. They pay more, are more organized, and are definitely more polite. I come all the way from Maine City. Paying me $40 as a new/return donor is a slap in the face. The location must be the only reason people come here. I encourage every donor at this joke of a place to go to CSL.

My experience was not good. Been a donor for four years at various places. I gave them several chances to not suck but they failed to be better than other places. Go to csl. If I could give negative stars I would.

Long Story short, Go to CSL Plasma or Pick another Side Hustle, The employees talk badly about the people who come in, and they don't realize their voices carry to the waiting room which there is one Blonde employee there that takes your Vitals that is very rude and always talks to you within an attitude, for being a medical facility you would think their "Bed side manner" would be a bit better. I will rather take the pay decrease and go back to CSL then to be treated badly

I have donated for at least a decade both here and at other facilities. Which is why I'm appalled by the way I was treated over a dispute in payment. I was offered one amount in the facility at the time of my donation. And since August 17, 2023 I have yet to receive the full payment. They discovered their mistake in offering a wrong payment and decided through an appeal I took all the way to corporate not to give me the payment I accepted at the time of my donation for a lessor amount!!!! I enjoy donati

This facility seems well ran for the most part. The phlebotomy team is amazing, they are considerate and hard working. Theres a handful of phlebotomist who are so gentle (such as Selina), her needle poking skills are superb! My only complaints are hearing other people's videos playing on phones, listening to employees gossip and the center is closed on Mondays now!

Most of the staff are very nice. However, the whole process is incredibly unorganized. There needs to be a better streamline for donors and staff. I have been there multiple times and have waited longer than normal because they couldn't find my chart, or someone thought they took care of me, or "wait - you're still here?". There just needs to be better order.

Clean facility!! Updated equipment! Greatest staff in the state of Michigan. They go over and beyond to make sure your good.

Very clean and very professional. They make you feel comfortable during the whole process and actually care, always asking if your ok or if you feel any discomfort. Definitely a good experience while at the same time helping people that need plasma for their medicine.

I had a great experience, it was clean everyone is so nice and polite i will give them a high five!! ????

Edit: from 4 to 5 stars. See bottom of review for update. So far I've donated 3 times. The staff has been very nice, and are fun to talk to. I have even been processed through fairly quickly each time. No more than 5 minute wait time to be called up. My issues so far have been with the sticking portion. The first time I donated, the needle poked the other side of the vein the entire time. I thought it was just supposed to hurt because I had never done it before. A very large bruise developed after I went h

Terrible place to go, never had any issues in 2 years then all of a sudden in less than 2 months their equipment went faulty... the filter not functioning properly and could not return my blood back to me causing me to not be able to donate now for two months...then they say it's my fault because my diet of what I eat .. but I eat the same as I have this whole time I've been donating... never an issue till now... maybe they are buying bad equipment or not properly keeping the equipment they have up... or ma

The place isn't bad at all. They all seem to know their role, and are actually pretty efficient. I've gone about 7 times, and haven't had a single problem. I suggest try it out. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars, is their lottery tickets are always losers!

Carlynda and brooke are always very polite and professional, 5 stars for great customer service and making me feel absolutely comfortable with every experience thats amazing considering i still hate needles, but those 2 u dont feel a thing when they stick u. They r the sole 2 reasons why i continue to come and the reason why i recently applied for a job there.

Most staff are professional, others not. You may be able to do your job successfully but you still deal with people and you have to maintain that level of professionalism when under pressure. I had an issue while donating today and was treated poorly throughout the situation. In conclusion I will not be returning to donate again.

Always have been friendly and prompt. Excellent workers at this location especially Tavia. Great team!! Very professional and courteous. I would highly recommend this place. Good compensation as well. Thanks for reading.

This place is amazing the staff is amazing as well

Great facility. Clean with a well trained staff Quick processing from screening to donation, I've experienced no issues with discomfort during or after needle sticks. This team is great.

Everyone is friendly and helpful always willing to answer any questions, they know their job and does it well and facility is always clean

Great staff and always goes above and beyond to make those who come in feel welcome.

Go donate plasma, Plasma helps so many people with life saving medication, It is such a great feeling to know that you're donation is doing so much good. Love all the staff, I work a lot, and have a family I adore, so I don't always have a lot of free time , so going here is just like vising friends, this really is just a awesome place, and I am always so well taken care of here, and I'm treated so nice,i have recommended so many family and friends here. Keep up the good work everyone here??

Was turned away today due to my pain medication, yet other facilities have no issue with it. I feel like they pick and choose, since I have family and friends who are also on pain medication and donate there all the time. Top that, I went earlier thhis week to sign up and was turned away because they close in 2 hours and didn't want to deal with a new intake. I will just keep going to the competition then. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

Came in here was skipped by 2 people becuz Brooke was BSn with other employees, wasnt even set up yet but did a girl ahead of me! Then i get up there n tells me my temp is way high! BS again!! I go to Family Dollar next door n take my temp 3x, 98.6,98.7,98.6... Brooke says to me, do u feel ok becuz ur temp is real high, me no i feel great! Deferred! I cone back in to say something and called, ohhh well we use a better thermometer! How do u know that?!?! Lmao.. u guys suk! I come in n u have 4 people just st

Waste of time came back twice, second time they had an attitude because they couldn't get their fingerprint sensor to work. They made me feel like they do not want new donors I passed all their tests it was the treatment that is the problem. God forbid anyone try to joke around with them that is off limits!! I will never waste my time again. You are hurting the people who need plasma I hope you know that.

Terrible! I have gone in on three separate occasions to attempt to be a new donor. All three times I signed in only to be ignored for hours! Was not informed about what the next step would be. Today they weren't even particularly busy and yet I was totally ignored after signing in. The staff seem to casually wander around in slow motion and no one seems to know whats going on. Couldn't pay me a thousand dollars to go back!

Today I sat and waited while 2 ppl hooked up before me .I was there first.what sucked is what came after ;( I talked to the manager and just brushed me off. I might have to think about going to the one on the North today was a bad experience ??

This is a great place to donate plasma. The phlebotomist girls are awesome, Jen,Tonya, and CJ rock. They are awesome and very friendly. The process go by so quick and the team is so great.Never once did I experience an issue. Way to go guys.

Good place. Clean facility. Tammy is great for finding hard veins. Request them! Good pay and friendly people though. Save some lives!

The best in the area,I come here twice a week, every week. As with most places, some staff are nicer than others, some are more experienced. If your first experience here was less than ideal,I suggest you give them another chance to make it right.

Apparently you got a make appointments

I have been donating at this plasma place for a year on&off(Since November 8Th,2017)! This is a great place to help people out that have health issues&are in need of plasma! The wait time isn't bad at all! Most of the staff are sweet&talk to you with respect! Stacey&Brooke are awsome! I don't know why ALOT of people give this plasma place bad reviews! I would HIGHLY recommend this TALECRIS plasma location:) Give them a try!

Was deferred over THEIR error. Had to do a retake bc my pulse was a little higher. Calmed myself down, and I was fine. They made the WRONG decision on putting the big cuff on me instead of the small one(which I always get) and it was to big (still used it) and it couldn't read my pulse. So I got sent away because they made a mistake. How messed up is that?

Place is a joke last year I tried and after being told to come back 3 times they finally got me in. Then they messed my arms up so bad that there was deep bruising for 2 weeks and they wouldn't do my second draw and made me start the process all over. Then when I tried again they claimed I had protein in my urine and turned me away. I immediately went to the doctor fearing I may have kidney problems and was told there was no protein in my urine and kidney function was fine. Then I tried this Friday they sai

Stuff can be very entertaining...

The stay isn't on the same page . The manager didn't seem to no why two days in a roll I've waisted my time and gas thanks to the staff not noing there job . The manager didn't seem to care . If you call don't expect they no what there talking about . I will never come back and I will spread the word as well very much not put together ..

raise the donor fees! this company makes $1500 per bottle for our plasma and pays us pennies!! seriously research it! if you give twice a week, they make $3000!! and then give us pennies! pathetic!! stop this madness!

They don't care at all about you or your time, and pay attention to the deposits. Always make sure it's on your card before you leave, they will try to screw you.

This place is a joke! They contaminated my plasma with someone elses that had hep c. Been to my doctor and have had many blood test and liver function test. Liver completley healthily no signs or markers of hep c. Now I can't give plasma anywhere ever again. This was years ago.

Better than the other place

Since having to wear a face mask to donate I've been turned away multiple times for having to high of a temperature. Having to sit with a mask on causes people to breathe in carbon dioxide, which in turn raises a persons core body temperature. Would suggest that u take peoples temperature first then do the rest of your screening.

The people here are very kind and fun to be around. They make the time go by faster. I have to put a shout-out to Maya. She's awesome!! ??

This place is great! I've gone 5 times this past month and the staff is so kind and professional. They make donating easy ??

Terrible unprofessional individuals that work there. It's almost like they got these people that work there from the homeless shelter or something. They're definitely not trained nurses and or professionals.

This place is crappy and unprofessional. They lied on my donor info and said I lied when they just didn't listen and put made up things in there computer about me and deffer me for a month for there error and then when I come back tell me I'm permanently deffered over there stupid mistakes and lying on donors paperwork!! They all act stuck up, unprofessional and will set you up and lie on you even just for not liking you!

I would not even rate this place....we went yesterday and because they are lazy and did not want to draw up new paperwork they told us to come back today between 8 am amd 10 am then we get there at 9 am and this fat ignorant blonde chick that didnt want to even be there told us nope come bk at 230....we need appt...dumb incomp female ....well guess what you will not have a job when im done....smh

Love CJ shes the best, never a problem. The only thing I noticed is sometimes people are not taken or set up in the order coming in.

Only problem for my first time was when I went to the back and I was done in 45 min and they left me hooked up for a extra 40 min. The People were nice though

I love the staff here.everone is so nice.and when you donate plasma it makes life saving medication for some people. The staff is so cool.its like going to visit friends when you go to this place.it is very laid back to..you all rock!!

Everyone is great here

The staff there is usually pretty nice. Although, like anywhere, there's a couple crusty ones ;) and no it's not Sarah

I haven't had a seizure in 8 yrs. I still take my morning meds. They won't have me as a patient because I haven't been off my pills for 5 yrs.

The employees are very helpful and nice. The building is clean. I enjoy my time donating at this center

They have no clue what there doing calling them selfs phlebotomist...what a joke trained 6 weeks and still messing up missing viens..nice hustle but people need more practice.and office staff needs more understanding to people in pain.caused by there own staff.as for they are freindly but still needs lots work

Horrible staff. My arm was badly bruised for 5 months. Go somewhere else. You are not appreciated here! Also you will constantly be deferred for a ridiculous amount of things.

They use dirty needles! Needle was already open when they poked me! They was also very rude!! I would go to csl plasma before i I got to them! They need to be shur down! They are very dirty and unprofessional!

Tiffany is the best!

Amazing center. Staff is super friendly, fast times, great management. Wish I could leave 10 stars!!
