Grifols Talecris Plasma Donation Center Pueblo, CO

I went in to donate plasma when the center opened at 8am. After being gone for 45 minutes, I hadn't received my payment. Upon calling the center, I was told that the payment system is down and they were not sure as to when it would be back up. I find it very unprofessional that the donors weren't told beforehand that the funds wouldn't be deposited right away. This is the 3rd time in a row (two week spand) that I didn't receive my funds in a timely manner. The first two times took over 3.5 hours to receive.

They "appreciate" their doners with cheap pay! Great employees, clean and organized place but the pay is absolutely horrible! Fix payout, we deserve way more than we get. SMH

I was deferred for making a complaint. This place is unprofessional and biased. When their workers call off and they are short handed they start denying donors knowing they do not need to show a person their levels. I've had my levels checked at a doctors the same day I was scheduled to donate and was denied, saying my levels were low, yet at my doctors my protein and red count was fine.

The entire process in use at this center is on another level, compared to what I've come to expect at previous donation places. Streamlined, personalized, efficient, and just a fulfilling experience. Great employees! Only issue is the terrible pay. You used to donated based on your weight now its based on your height so you have to donate more for the same cheap pay. It's not right! Terrible

Update i gave them a bad review amd asked the manager why i got screwed out of my extra pay and just got attitude. Not to mention the fact they decided to do something to my profile and apparently i cant donate now until the year 2298. Explain that one to me, You guys are a joke. The new pay sucks! $40 for first donation of the week and $75 for second donation of the week . It's not even worth it anymore, such a rip off. Cheap grifols! The old pay was better and way worth it! The staff here are so kind and friendly. If you're scared of needles, then you'll never know they have one. The environment here is soothing, relaxed, and a nice place to chill while helping others who are in need. I have been donating with Grifols for over a year now, and on two occasions, I received inaccurate information about my protein levels being low in the past. Well it happened again, During This prescreening, I recorded my protein levels at 6.6, which was almost perfect. Everyone is nice but I always have to wait 45min to an hour after my scheduled appointment time. Then you hear laughing in the background like nobody is working. I'm not sure what kind of management is running the place but it's not good. If your going to switch to appointment only then maybe actually be ready for that appointment. I hope grifols changes their lengthy wait times. I'm ready to try somewhere new.

I'm incredibly impressed with this donation center. With it being my first time donating everyone was so nice and polite. I wanna give a special shoutout to Gabbie ?? toward the end of my donation I did feel a little hot and sweaty. She fanned me and put a cold compress on me, continued to work but never left eye sight of me. I will definitely be coming back and each time will get easier. I hope to work with her more !!!??

Employees are amazing, always kind and polite. It sucks the last handful of payments I should have recieved, I have to call and request after hours of waiting. They havent just hit my account and the hassle of getting ahold of someone is starting to be alot for such small payments. The best plasma donation center in Pueblo. The staff is always incredibly nice and understanding. They answer every question and always make sure I'm comfortable. Thanks to Randy and Julia I had a much better experience than my last location. Was a bit of a pain to transfer but the staff made me feel they were a bit more confident in their jobs. Don't ever donate here. They are not going to pay you that you're promised to be paid. They'll pay you half of what they say that they will pay. Craig in particular is a terrible manager here. He doesn't care about you, all he cares is that he's the manager and he has the final say of what people pay no matter the circumstances! Avoid here at all cost! The changes that they have made are efficient as far as time for the return donors. The staff are friendly and make it a great experience everytime I return. The staff is always super friendly. Every single time I would go in I always felt like I was being treated with respect and like I was a family member. They make it a point to make you feel comfortable and do what they can to help you out.

The people that work there are very nice, I have never felt unsafe or concerned about getting covid-19. They are very clean and take precautions to the highest standards. Each employee that I have come in contact with has treated me with respect. Great group of people, and have never had no problems.

Went to Pueblo Talecris for a little while and just moved out of state. They are great to deal with. Staff has been always been kind and professional on all levels. They are all good at what they do. Thank you. No matter where you go in life there will always be a small percentage of people that will complain or be a problem.

When I started in Oct (last year) service was great. Wait time was reasonable, compensation was great. It has been steadily getting worse. Example, today they are just over an hour behind( that's just to check in). And compensation barely makes it worth my time now.

Rachel was the best. She knew I was super nervous, sweaty palms and all. When it was time to donate, she found me the best poker on the floor and it was smooth from there out. Just make sure your hydrated and eat a protein meal before and after donating. Great experience and staff is awesome. Feels great to donate to someone in need!

Correct some of the women are rude especially to the handy caped they don't have patients or time of day for anyone that needs help.

The customer service was good. Everyone was super nice. The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because I was told on 2 different occasions my tax return documents could be used as proof off ss# since mine was lost (have an apt in 3 months). Once I got to the location I was told it could not be used that the only thing they can use as proof is my W2 only if it had my full ss# on it. It only has the last 4 numbers.

My experience has been so easy! The center is always clean, and well cared for. The best part of the day...the people. Lots of diversity in clients. Very nice people and a great way to help others while making some extra cash. The compensation is excellent and you'll feel good knowing you're helping others. Most days things go quickly. Learn the best times to go to avoid longer waits.

You can tell the staff here really enjoy working with each other, which makes for great conversations with them all and a happy environment. it sometimes takes a long while to get in there, i was there for about 4 hours my first time in, but now it's about 45 min average.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I've been coming here for quite some time and really never had an issue until now. I made my appointment for 6:15 this morning and i am now stuck in my car waiting to even be let in the building because they are behind 45 minutes. This is completely unacceptable. Everyone who works here is amazing. I am always treated with respect and kindness. The techs. are very professional and skilled. They try their hardest to make your donation as quick and painless as possible.

This place has gone down hill a lot. They falsely advertise their bonuses and refuse to give them to you. I have had to call corporate now twice to get the money owed to me. They do not pay on time half the time, I have to call to remind them to pay me. The staff that do the procedure are all great but the managers and people who issue the money do not care about the customers at all.

I have tried donating three separate days. Each day arriving at 6am when they open. They have turned me down as a new patient all three times for being understaffed. But every time I go in all the employees are just standing around doing nothing or hiding by the printer bsing. I donate because I have a family member that was saved with the help of plasma. You guys need to cut the number of appointments in a day. Your staff CANNNOT handle it. They are constantly behind schedule and it completely ruins the point of setting appointments. How are you 40 minutes behind schedule 30 minutes after opening? Reevaluate your system because it is not working. Also most of the staff needs a major attitude check.

I've been coming here since 2013 and the Telacris Plasma Resources location in Pueblo is my favorite plasma center. It is also the only plasma center that I have ever donated plasma at, and I wouldn't choose to be emotionally tortured anywhere else but here. They used to only give you $25 & $40 each week but now they start you at $40 for your first donation of each month an the payout rate increases by another $10 after every 2 donations.

The staff is very friendly. They engage with everyone that walks in. Not a very long wait if you make your appointment in advance. They truly do appreciate the people that take the time to donate. Awesome place

Well I have been coming to Talecris Pueblo for better then over 9 years. In that time on numerous times throught my donating the personnel here have been nothing but wonderful. The entire staff is personable, courteous,pleasant,warm receptive I could go on forever. They sent my husband a text message stating $50 extra to donate and so he went in. They wrote it on his paper that he would get it, he donates his time and plasma, leaves and they only paid the regular rate. He calls 3 times and is told okay, we will fix it but then calls today because nothing has happened. We'll they should've checked the terms better and told him he couldn't get it. I've been donating for over a year at this facility and I find the staff is friendly and fun. Some have thier days as we all do but for the most part they are a great group of people. The wait time for donating has significantly been recently reduced and there is less crowding and grumpy people in the waiting room. The staff at this facility are rude and tend to give false information. The facility itself is dirty. Every time I go in there whoever hooks me up to the machine is always rushing resulting in extra (unnecessary) pain for me. They even bruised my husband's arm so bad that he almost couldn't donate the next time he went in.

I would recommend Pueblo facility Plasma center to anyone looking to give back to the Community, pay it forward, or to donate a couple hours out of your day to pay it forward. Decided to change my review after employees started processing people that came 25 minutes after me claiming donors were "VIP". This is completely wrong considering you don't take appointments anymore and are supposed to serve customers on a first come first serve walk-in basis.

Great place to donate and earn some money on the side. They do have strict regulations because they have to comply with federal and state requirements as well as think of your safety and patients safety. Example: anyone that is pregnant within the last six months is deferred, in order not to harm her baby, and to allow for the body to get back to normal after giving birth. I hadn't donated in almost 10yrs, because it would take to long ,2-4 hours sometimes, then to only get any were from $20 to $30 a donation, im sorry it was'nt worth it, and didn't have the time. Grifols is a Clean, friendly- environment , and motivated atmosphere, I would encourage you to donate to help save lives. The bonus you get a little extra cash to help you out. Drink lots of water, day before and wait an hour before you donate. The cagulate from the saline can effect your body if you don't alloew your digestive system to process correctly. I have donated here for 2 yrs. New management recently and donor compensation decreased by $100 a month. Doing incentives to get/ keep clients, such as raffles. Keep your prizes and give us the compensation we have previously enjoyed if you want to keep clients. Also, if they offered a comment box I would have used that form of communication.

They take care of people here and go the extra mile to do so. Extremely nice staff and compensation is helpful and I try to go out of my way to refer new donors. I would rate higher than 5 if I could!

Staff is friendly and appointments make the donation process alot faster. It was better with the $25, $40 versus the $20 $40, but other than that it's a good center. New donor fees are great as well as buddy bonus.

3 years ago my daughter and son in law went to donate. My son in law was a medical marijuana patient and was denied ability to donate. Since my daughter was with him she was also denied the ability to donate even though she's never had a medical marijuana card. She was told she had to get a note from a Dr to say she didn't have a medical marijuana card. Everybody should know a Dr can't tell if you have a card or not. When she tried to tell them this they said she couldn't donate because she argued with them
