Staff don't care to do their job correctly. Pay is ok but not worth what you have to go through I don't mind donating to help other but why make people set appointments just to be seen 30 mins to an hour after my scheduled time to donate I won't be returning to this joke of an establishment (perfect example my appointment was set for 2pm April 28th 2025 I'm currently writing this review as I'm now 35 mins pass my scheduled appointment and there are still four people who were before me here waiting

Friendly staff, best pay, usually really fast service. Staff is very knowledgeable and can answer any questions you have accurately. And as much as I don't like to donate, I never have a issue here 0

Grifools is a great place to help people who can use products made from the donations, the workers are professional pleasant vary knowledgeable and the management is great also they really work vary hard to make your donations as easy as possible. I will keep donating as long as I can.

First time I went there I waited a legit 6 hours to finish donating. Always understaffed, always firing the new hires, constant turnover. Nobody ever answers the phone, I've watched the phone ring 5 straight times with nobody picking it up and walking past it. Last time I was there, the nurse was 5 minutes away from clocking out and made up a completely ridiculous excuse not to see me. She told me I ?had an odor.? I asked no less than 7 random people after the fact and not one told me I had an odor. Go to C

1st attempt at an appointment the nurse left early and they never called to tell us. 2nd attempt at appointment the nurse was not feeling good and left again without getting a phone call. 3rd attempt the nurse was finally there to get checked in now its been 4 hours since my appointment at 1pm and still have yet to donate. Its 5pm and this is absurd. Update... its 7:23 and still not out yet. Bee. Here since 1pm.

They unprofessional they get your stuff wrong and expect you to fix it after they get it wrong. They have a nurse name hi Haley in the office that does not know how to do her job and message your stuff up. They don't wanna give up corporate number and they give you the wrong number because they don't wanna get in trouble.

Been coming here for 2 years. Staff is slow, makes you wait over an hour just to be screened, then makes you wait another 20 minutes to be hooked up to the machine. The place is severely understaffed and corporate just doesn't care. And when they do have enough staff, half of them are standing around on their phones.

So wen I was at this center today an I had a blood lost because a lack of awareness to notice Dat something wasn't connected Dat feed the blood to the bowl so instead all the blood in me went on floor an all over the machine the chair an with how much was on the floor I'm surprised I didn't pass out but people there need to pay more attention to there job an keeping the talking to a minimum not say u shouldn't talk but job first convo later

It's always something with the payment process or timing process they'll have you sitting around for nothing for little things that only take 5 to 10 minutes to do then wait till the next day to pay you this has happened to me over the last 5 times I've been there I will recommend nobody Going hear too bad the other plasma places further and I've been going here for 8 years the last 2 years has been BS

Me and my husband love donating here. Jess up front is great and ALL THE LADIES IN BACK! tina,Shon, Tierra, amanda, shineka

The experience for a first timer was awesome. Staff was wholesome and respectful. Looking forward to my next visit

So on Wednesday June 11th 2025 at 6:49 pm I had an appointment at 6: 45 to be at grifols and the doors were locked staff telling me they didn't have medical so they was closed so now i took time out my day to come all the way here for nothing what a waste of my time and gas!!!!! They keep changing their policy, one minute its set an appointment and then you could come in 10 minutes before or after appointment time but now you have to come in exactly on the time set, they make you wait to get your bonus mon

This place has gone down hill bad. Long time donor that returned to Grifols on Riverside after moving back in the area. The wait times they're making the smallest amount of people wait is beyond ridiculous at this point. Waiting 20 to 30 minutes just to get your finger pricked with only 3 donors waiting and 2 new donors here. Then waiting 15 minutes in the bed till your hooked up to the machine. I have to plan getting here an hour early now just to donate as I work 6 days a week second shift. All the while

Jessica was great with the process made me feel comfortable during my visit

The staff here is rude and look at you like you're not supposed to be there from the time you walk in. Ive been back and forth going around the world trying to give them a verification of address and everytime ive showed them legitimate address proof, they turn me away and are not clear with their instructions, even though i tell them my situation they didn't even try to work with me , and i was even taken into a room to get yelled at by one of the employees because THEY weren't being clear on instructions.

As a new donor, I waited three hours and they couldn't even get me into the physical though I had set an appointment. When I tried to question the lengthy wait I was ignored by staff.

Stay away biolife pays more for your plasma and get treated with respect i stopped going here the machines are not updated there older makes your experience not good bad management I have never been treated non human till I went here staf talk bad about the doners main reason I stopped going was I had a bad experience were management will talk racial comments right in front of your face like she's got fed to the white meat from black management

These people are liars. I waited 5 hours to be told I cannot donate I have to wait for the doctor. Apparently there's no medical staff here ever. I think this place needs to be shut down in the way they run things because it's not efficient. They are rude in wasting the time of people that want to give to people that are in. The huge lady that's bigger than a truck he's very disrespectful.

Nurse Jessica was very nice and understanding she was very helpful as well

First time at this company and all I can say is the people there were so nice and friendly! They make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. It took me 3 hours (which I expected as a first time donor) but the wait was t bad because everyone is friendly!

This is a great place to go! The staff are always so friendly and kind. The medical staff is great! 10/10

Most of the time New Donors cant get 8n to donate after 4pm because this Grifols doesnt have staff on duty to process New Donors on any operating day which isn't right, there should be staff available so long as they are open at least until 5pm but they choose to make their own times here.

Wasted time to this place I had appointment for 12pm and I was differed to a mark on my hernia surgery 5hrs later this place is poorly run and the staff is uneducated total waste of a day in grifol donation center in Rockford Illinois very dissatisfied and I won't be back

Hello, I wanna give this five stars and the only reason I'm giving us five stars is because of one employee Trish she always has an amazing attitude no matter what she's going through. She's always making sure that I'm eating correctly and even check back in with me about things I talk to her about.

I enjoy coming to talecris because the staff always has great energy and are always so respectful and polite. Momma always lights up the room and is great at her job while doing it. As long as I donate I'm coming here, the only thing that could be better is the music we need some livelyness up in here!????

I have attempted to donate at this location several times. My 1st attempt I called twice to make sure it wasn't too late in the day to donate. I was assured I could come in with no issues. Once I arrived, I was told they do not turn people away over the phone because their corporate office does random phone checks, and they would get in trouble for that. My 2nd attempt I was told to be there by 5:30 pm at the latest to start the new donor process. When I arrive at 5:25 (straight from work), I was again tu

This is by far the best plasma center in our area. Every time I go in and I'm treated with a smile everybody knows be by name I feel like I'm going to Cheers. Kristin is one excellent phlebotomist she always makes you feel welcome and she always can get my blood running,

White people are prioritized before blacks. I've been talked down to, over spoken, ignored & told anything I say doesn't count if I wasn't asked anything. Several times I've come to a empty lobby & waited hours while all the white people come & get immediate help.

the staff barely knows what's going on half of the time. the Hispanic woman who does vitals is prejudice and they're the lowest paying plasma center in the city. I do NOT recommend coming here. don't waste your time. Go to Biolife of CSL Plasma!

I had the best experience last evening that I've ever had in three years Leo,Derrick and Jennifer made feel respected, appreciated and missed on front end Chistine and Dwayne on the back really did great job keep the great guests services. Winslo Smith

It's a really great place to come. They have you in and out fast. Also the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Also has the highest donor fees. Your always greeted with a smile.

This is the greatest experience I've ever had donating plasma!! It's clean and the staff are so professional,.. I have bad anxiety and they are so great that I don't have any anxiety and I assure you that you will be at home and comfortable with donating plasma for the first time... And Walk out with a ''SMILE''.. DAVID CLARK DONOR

I had a shameful racist encounter with a volatile tempered "assumed manager" who on the only two encounters I've seen him treated me with unnecessary aggression & shouted at me for asking a question. Sparing details here- I've encountered enough racism in my life to know it when I see it.

Stopped in to get some information. The manager walked me through everything. Very nice people. They definitely made me feel more comfortable.

I love coming here rather than any other plasma donor location. Everyone here is always in a good mood and make u feel like family. When in the process of donating they make time fly by being themselves on the donor floor/dance floor

They're pretty dope. Yes as a first donor, It can take a while. however, after that, it's pretty smooth sailing everyone?s pretty nice and in terms of getting stuck it is relatively painless and they're pretty on top of making sure that the process goes smooth.

I have been a donor at this center since 2018 and it wasn't until today I encountered the most rude person I ever talked to at the center. Robbie had a horrible attitude and couldn't even have an adult conversation! He was very childish and has a very demeaning attitude! Out of almost 6 years of coming to this location I have never encountered one of their employees being as rude and disrespectful as Robbie Update: 12/4/23 The Manager Scott reached out to me about the situation and squared it away! I have a

Unfortunately, I'm not surprised to see many concerns raised similar to the horrible way I was treated by Bill. This man is seriously a toxic scab of hatred that should be fired immediately. Putting my personal experience aside, NO ONE! Should have to experience what myself & others have from Bill. It's downright disgusting to treat people the way he does. Which BTW, seem to be the majority African American people.

First time Plasma donor here!! I have to say all the staff was very welcoming and professional. Highly recommend.

Spent over 3 hours to get registered as a donor here when the place only had me and 2 other people in that whole time. Went for my second donation and was turned down twice for having blue veins. Nothing I can do about that. You're much better off going to CSL or Biolife.

They lie to you about your money and give you what they feel if your done giving your plasma they'll leave you hooked up until they feel like unhooking you and if you ask it's a problem. Some of them will sabotage you so don't be afraid to refuse service from the workers if you feel disrespect. My son still goes there I haven't been in years and nothing has changed .

Toya, Shaniqua, and BJ were the dream team. They are meticulous with their craft and they treated me with kindness, care and respect my entire donation session. They truly care about both the donor and the recipient and it reflects in their work.

I love this place, staff is very professional and make you feel comfortable. Personally I feel its the best place to donate at. The pay is decent and they are very nice people.

Love Love Love this place. Everyone feels like family. The minute you walk in the door. Your 1st time is 3-4 hours but after that usually 2 hours or less. They are so appreciative of your time. Bottom line is you feel great when you leave because you just did something to save a life.

Ben, the Manager poorly manages this place. He manages with his ego first. He runs off Donors left and right. They are super slow these days and I think people are just getting sick of it. I think he forgets that Griffols make a lot of money off our donations while we are only getting scraps these days. They advertise as the highest compensating place but that is not true. I have been a loyal donor who goes twice a week but I am getting sick of how they treat everyone like they're a crack head. Most of us

Worst donation place I have ever been to. I donate to make some extra cash on the side just like most people that go here do. The staff does not treat us like humans and they are very much un professional. I'm a nurse and work in a healthcare field and can say on many counts I've seen things that should be reported in all honesty. The only good women there is "mama" as everyone calls her. The manager Bill is down right unfit to be running that place. I had an incident happen and he basically told me his sta

Trish is amazing at her job and I look forward to coming back every week because I know I will get good service

Was signing up to be a new donor, but walked out. Think they forgot about me, but from the reviews not sure. Did paperwork then sat and did nothing for over an hour. This is the third place I've donate and the paperwork is the worst part after the paperwork it's normal to fly through, not here. Place definitely could be streamlined. Not sure why the regulars keep going back. Several waited longer than I did just to have vitals check, and they weren't busy.

New patients should expect a 3-4 hour period of time. Make sure you bring ID, social security card, and proof of address. They do a physical the first time, and every year after. Staff are amazing, keep it entertaining the whole time. Talk you through the whole process. Very clean. Would recommend going on a week day (especially of you're new), Saturdays are busy.

Good pay but sometimes the wait is too long and people not hustling. It would be even better if they had a crowd meter on the app or website like planet fitness. I wish people didn't have such down attitudes and vibes, we all work for a living outside of plasma giving but make the best of it. Smile!

Absolutely ridiculous no appointments at all walk in only and they would rather sit there and talk then do their job and get people through. Smh don't bother unless you have all day to waste

during the time the other reviews were written for this place, they were accurate. Now however, They are not. most of the employees are not respectful let alone professional. The wait times are really bad still. I have called to ask on wait times, been told only half an hour, and arrived to find out a couple hours wait was expected. I have sat in the waiting area and heard employees talking badly about donors in the back. I have heard phone calls answered and witness the employee mock the person on the othe

Will come back. Great bonuses, friendly staff, clean environment, and even better the pay. Nurse Jennifer made the prosses quick and educational.

Love the crew here, but the new management trying to turn off the music and have half the beds red handed needs to change. Ben was down with the music. #LetMamaGroove

Most of the staff is very good and friendly but there's one who knocked my tendon and I had a massive bruise for weeks so couldn't return. Went back after bruise and same girl wanted to stick same arm when I was told cant use it. She has a bad attitude and now not paying me..what a freaking joke. Yes they got over 3/4 bottle full from me I should be paid!!

3 times in a row I have been there and have had trouble with the screening process, the last time being today. After donating 16 times I now am told I can't donate because I apparently don't know my own address. Staff argued I have the wrong address to MY OWN PLACE. Most of the girls in the back talk about other donors, goof off and one joked about using crack, which I find very unprofessional. I'll never recommend them.

Had a great experience when I went there. I had the pleasure of working with Trish while on my visit and she was a very nice and friendly young lady.

Trish is one of my favorites and has been very helpful since ive been coming here Pretty good since I have been coming here over 2yrs

Everyone here is always so nice to me and the employees really care. Yes....they get super busy BUT they do their best to speed things along and help as best they can. Ive been coming here for years and i will continue to come here for years to come!

North Towne Grifols plasma center has great customer service, Trish and Daisy are the very best professional, kind and compassionate associates who do a great job of making customers feel comfortable! ??

I am an engineer, I only donate to help people. It really frustrates me seeing how this place is ran. The only person who cares is the old lady in the back, Momma. If not for her I'm positive this place would have been closed down a long time ago. They need to completely revamp this place. The wait times are rediculous and organizational atmosphere is close to none. Don't waste your time here.

Had A great experience there on 10/17/2017. I laughed so hard that my blood pressure raised and then I had to wait 15 minutes until it went back down. I would suggest going early in the morning or latter in the evening. Saturdays are A good day to go also. Be prepared to wait 4 to 5 hours if you are A new donor. So be warred new patients, you will have A wait, so bring snacks and water with. Remember its to save life's, its not about the money.

One day they had to poke me twice to get good blood flow. Today when I went in they said I had an extra needle mark in my arm and I did try to explain it to them but they didn't listen to me

I take this back. I have been permanently deferred for taking a medication prescribed by my doctor. While you have multiple drug addicts donating each and every day. This center is beyond ridiculous. I do not recommend.

10/10 recommend! Jen H. was very helpful with explaining the process and making me feel safe! will be going back!

Absolute trash. Trash. Workers are COMPLETELY incompetent, and do not understand when they are wrong. Waiting 3 hours after completing the Kiosk, My buddy whom I walked in with waited about 30 minutes. I hear the POS system goes down, so I ask how long until my turn. The woman behind the counter tells me the system is down and they are at a standstill. The systems didn't go down until about 2 hours after I finished, all the while they were calling people back, people who showed up well after I did. After an

Just went told them my concern with a little rash from when I came in last time for 1st donation they said they didn't mind they checked me in poked me told me I was good to go until I wasn't so I asked them why and if I was good to go I even asked before hand couldn't give me a awnser all had slow looks on their faces

Great Staff, Very Friendly no lines quick quiet experience

Rouge employees make up their own rules to accommodate themselves, not the donors who are potentially saving lives! I recently moved to Rockford from Michigan, paid for a next day envelope so I can prove my new address, then spent my last 5 dollars on a ride to get there, 1pm on Saturday , only to be told that no more new donor's were being taken. This should have been acceptable considering they were going to be open for 5 more hours! So not only am I out of ten dollars for the cost of my mail, and the

A good place, good staff, and exclusive diner card that has a chip and partnered with chase so withdrawal penalty from Chase ATMs

Donated yesterday, I live a bit away. No funds hit my card for a complete donation and been calling for hours ... nobody answers, management... nothing. Left two messages at 930 and then at 12. No call back and it's 1. Not very professional.

I've donated plasma at one other place and this is by far the best donation center ever. Everyone is so friendly and it's way quicker than the last place.

I've been here 2hrs now. I didn't fill out anything until about 20mins ago, haven't seen anyone for a physical yet and it's freezing in here!! The longer I wait the colder I'm getting and they acted like they didn't know what heat was when asked about it. I had to put my gloves back on! I've been to several plasma centers in my day and so far this place is mediocre at best!! More donors in the lobby than in the beds. I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt when I saw the reviews but, they're ri

Shaniqua and everyone else are really helpful and always so nice. I have always been treated so well here and would recommend it to everyone.

Spent 3 hours here with Nurses trying to defer me at every moment. When I still wanted to continue they refused me out right. If you didn't want my plasma you could have said so before I wasted 3 hours of my day.

Wait times are terrible. I make an appointment everytime but then they said i never made one so i have to sign as a walk in and wait for many hours. Plenty of people have been arriving after me and get called first. The employees are rude and just act like they dont care. The money they offer after your first 4 donations just isnt with the time.

I went to donate plasma at the center and filled out a bunch of forms. After an hour I was told that I had to go to my doctor and get an approval from her to donate. I have allergies and asthma and see a specialist for it. I paid an office visit and went to see her and she told me I was ok to donate plasma. She filled out the forms as they asked for. I then went back to the plasma center a few days later. I was told that they had not looked at it yet and to come back the next day. So I called the next

I Love it here, they treat me like family. They do there their jobs well!!

I donated 2 timesa week and today they want to say my file got lost? Then they find it... 3 hours later and tell me I still have to wait behind the people I should of been before... plus you got a security that acts like the world owe him something... don't waste your time for little money. I found a better place that pays more then 20 and 30 a week.

Trish and Tierra are the best and are very helpful. Mike is very good and stuck me just fine

I've donated on and off at this plasmacenter for the past 10 years, seeing te same faces every time I return is awesome and I've never had a bad experience here.

Update: it's been 4 years and I still cant come back even though they workers were rude and called my arms fat because THEY DIDN'T HAVE THE RIGHT CUFFS! EVEN THOUGH I'VE BEEN USING THE SAME CUFF THE ENTIRE YEAR I HAD BEEN GOING!!! I've been donating at this center for a year then om my day to get my bounus i was deferred because they said my arm didn't fit the blood pressure cuff properly!! Now after a year there's a problem!!! I will not be goin back to this center!!!!

I don't need plasma intelligence and have been donat in past month for over 20 years I do it for the sole purpose that someday could help me or someone I know when They could be very ill and in dire need of it the staff is friendly courteous and wireless way to accommodate you if you work if you receive extra pays or a text or an email and can't make it on the day that you should or by the day that it end ends they try to do their best to work with you with a very professional Very polite and courteous alw

They staff are friendly but the wait time is ridiculously long. They are understaffed and they really should consider call in appointments for new donors so they are scheduled.

Trying to call to set up an appointment and it keeps saying 0 is an invalid option. Even though the recording says push 0 to make appt. I want to donate, but have read the other comments and I'm not sitting for 6 hours. It's super annoying and incredibly unprofessional to not have someone to answer the pho when people want to come donate!! I guess I'll have to drive over there to make an appt. And yes I'm going to mention the above nonsense while I'm there!! We'll see how it goes. (update later)

This is my first time and I had a horrible experience waited for an hour and 50 minutes before they realize someone has cross my name without calling me. After waiting all day alone time I decided to stand up and speak about why am I still going to stay long and this woman had the nerve to tell me this grass my name and there's nothing they can do about it I've been there took me on the back took my information and everything and then gave me no service

Everyone is always very professional, personable, and friendly. No one likes to get stuck with a needle, so it's nice to see the staff enjoying themselves while they work!!

Absolutely ridiculous trying to get a physical or just donate. It's like they really don't want you to be there. NOT ALL ARE BAD BUT SOME ARE DOWN RIGHT RUDE AND SHOULD NOT HAVE A JOB!!!! If you have a job you're screwed because it usually requires being there when the door open and good luck if you'reseen by lunch. Don't even think about going in the afternoon cuz you'll just be turned away or sit for 5 hrs. The back area is much nicer if you make itthru the circusup front.
