Customer Reviews

I've been going to this center for over a year now and I've never had a bad experience. Every staff member is friendly, accommodating and considerate throughout the donation process. Staff and medical are always ready to assist you if you need something and are great with communicating about any questions you have as a donor. You get to know these people as you donate, seeing them twice a week for months at a time. Their payout and promotions provide a good source of money on the side and the Chase Debit c

Rude and judgemental staff. Website is also misleading saying they recommend people bringing in support to ease the process but really they just want you to bring people to donate. I can not donate because of medical reasons and was there as support and to see how the process goes in order to recommend people but not anymore. If they were nicer more people might be willing to donate. Sad because people really do need plasma and they should make it more welcoming/comfortable for people who are willing to don

My experience at Talecris Plasma in Salem was frustrating and disappointing. On multiple occasions, I spent a significant amount of time waiting, only to be told I couldn't donate?often for reasons that could?ve been communicated upfront. The process felt disorganized and inefficient, with poor communication every step of the way. When I finally was able to donate, the experience was uncomfortable, and the environment didn't feel clean or welcoming. Several staff members were rude or had a snotty attitude,

After going here 6 times I would not recommend it to anyone nor will I be returning. Bedside manner is terrible almost every time. Today was final straw, After being infiltrated once and having to switch arms the staffer then pulled the needle from my arm without warning or preparation because he forgot a step and let me squirt blood everywhere while he panicked and froze and then blamed me for the blood on my khakis because I didn't stand up fast enough while I was still partially hooked up to the machine

I've been donating here for awhile now, took a short break and went thru your new donor ?process? again, was told I had to bring proof of address on my second visit, second visit comes and I have a printed check with my address on it from a public utility company, and get told that they don't take checks, like I was trying to cash it there. Pretty pathetic that a simple piece of printed mail with my address on it isn't good enough, we live in a paperless era, I don't get hardly any paper mail anymore. Place

Absolute horrid service and customer support. I came in as a new donation with all the paperwork needed and was told 'oh you don't need that we can just run a check on you' and then didn't tell me what the results of the check were and then said my social security card wasn't valid, and that the other paperwork I brought that they asked for and didn't use wasn't going to help. When I asked for clarification on why I was told "well did the other worker check it? What did she say?" Instead of explaining why t

I went in to donate for the first time a couple of weeks ago and went through the whole 3 hour process only for them to tell me I can't donate at the time because of an allergic reaction to a medication from years ago and that I'd need to consult my doctor further in order to donate. I then proceeded to come in two more times just for them to tell me there were more steps I needed to complete. Staff were very rude and unprofessional to me and my family. They lost documents of mine that were sent to them fro

Great experience at this center! Everyone is super nice. I will definitely be back. Thank you to Holly, Brittney, Tanner and Sara for all the help during my visit.

Honestly all the staff are super friendly, and I genuinely feel like I connect with them very individiually, I was even able to share some Pokemon Go info with a worker and we trade gifts sometimes on it. I find every worker there has a delightfully beautiful soul, and they are very remarkable, I would love to give shout outs for frindliness and politness, as well as how soothing and calming their voices are. I feel like I have improved my personal care thanks to time I spend around these people and doing m

I called to get some information on the process and the receptionist had no information on what I was asking so I had to proceed to ask her if she could find out. She put me on hold for such a small amount of time that I know she just sat there then proceeded to give me the same answer of I would have to come in to ask in person. Terrible customer service and I highly recommend you find another place to donate to that truly knows what they are doing.

Sara is the best phlebotomist in the world ??she always has a positive attitude and I look forward to seeing her every day . I've not had a bad experience here yet

A very clean facility with professional and friendly staff. Never have I had a bad experience. Bridget gets a special shout out for always bringing her A game.

Made an appointment online, as I walk in they are sitting down and caught off guard that I'm there. It was near close and I was surprised they allowed an appointment to be made online the day before so late, but I moved my schedule around to accommodate. They refer me to their manager who immediately said I had flat veins and I should drink water and do arm pumps. They were just trying to pass me off to the next day with zero ability to honor their commitment to an appointment. I have HUGE veins and work

The staff are friendly and the environment is enjoyable. Good music and good movies are always playing. Marypat is always very professional and friendly. Make some money and save some lives. It's a win-win. Update: The new pay scale is awesome.

I've been donating here consistently since I moved here in October of 2020. I have never had a bad experience here. Yes sometimes you get stabbed an extra time but the staff is nothing short of amazing! They are always friendly, and smiling, and they tell some pretty good jokes too! I highly recommend this place? heck I've even sent my family in too! This place may have a couple places where they can improve but they are doing the absolute best they can with what they have! Come in and meet Mary pat, alma,

I really can't say enough good things about this place. Amazing staff, great customer service, and awes atmosphere. The wonderful people make you forget about the fact that you have a needle in your arm. Don't delay, donate today!

This place has been very good to me over these past 104 donations. The staff are always nice and polite and don't treat me like a number, they talk to me like I'm visiting my friends twice a week. Alma, Jordan, Brittney, Sarah, Tanner, and Bridgett are all amazing workers and people. They all have earned this 5 star review.

Got denied from being able to donate because my address was listed in their system as a "group home". Told them it wasn't and they didn't listen to me at all.

Been coming here since 2020. Great side money and the people are amazing! Always leave with a smile

Worst phlebotomists I've ever encountered. I've donated 25 times and they've infiltrated me 5 times. I have given lots of blood for health reasons in my life, and I've never had problems until coming here. Unprofessional environment- I.E. underage workers talking about drinking alcohol and taking drugs while on the floor. Always a rude receptionist. Plus a nurse recognized me in public and greeted me which is illegal and embarrassing. I haven't been able to donate twice a week or take advantage of any promo

Don't let yourself smell like your dog or cat at all they won't let you donate if you smell anything but human

I will just say after reading these comments it seems Sara needs to be promoted and the rest of the staff sucks! unfortunately I've donated at a ton of different places and for some reason professionalism seems to be the lowest of priorities! waiting for endless hours ,with a waiting room full of people, while the staff is laughing at something funny on their phones looking on their phones goofing off and not getting their jobs done. they don't seem to have any care for the fact that you are taking time out

Overall great experience. Have been coming here for about 6 months and have never had a bad time. The friendly staff helps get you through if you have a hard time. Who doesn't like getting easy money. The monthly giveaways and bonus?s too are really cool.

Proceed with caution when donating at this center. Some of their staff is not above lying on a donor.

I really hate to give a one star review for this one, because I've been such a fan for so long. I've been a donor off and on here since 2018. I've always had fantastic experiences in the past. Staff and technicians have always been professional, knowledgeable, I enjoy talking with them and getting to know them. I've always talked this clinic up to people and love donating here. So I have to ask the management and greater company at large: what the heck are you doing to your employees that you can't keep th

The staff is great at stabbing. Lol to be serious the staff is very professional and super kind!

My fifth visit. Staff is always friendly and fun, yet remains professional.

Decided to donate for a friend because she has epilepsy and can't. Very disappointed to say the least. Front desk reception is poor, with the main person sneezing and coughing the entire time because of "allergies", and spent the entire time (each time) rolling her eyes and sighing like she's been working for days and it was 8:00 AM. 3 out of 5 times I had to call and remind them that the payment was $100 and not $40, which then took them time to add on the correct amount. On my sixth donation there was

Easy way to make 120$ a week.. if you go at the right time you can be in and out with in a hour to an hour and a half with $. Helps me with a little extra money and that never hurts being a single mother of two. 40$ for the first donation of the week (Monday- Saturday) and 80$ for the second donation of the week. Well nevermind on being able to make good money because they've lowered it 10$ in the last month so now I can only make 110 a week. If the prices keep going down, I know I won't continue to donate.

I had made an appointment to be a first time donor. Got there early like they said to do. Their check in machine was down. I had to wait 10 minutes before an actual person came to talk to me I told them I was there as a first time donor and was told to take a seat. So I sat for another 15 minutes until Alma came out and I told her I was a first time donor and she said " do to staffing shorting today we aren't taking new donors." I told her that I had an appointment and that I wouldn't have driven in from Da

Super amazing place. They always have great raffles, the staff are amazing. Chelsie always has the greatest smile and her hair is ON POINT. Holly is super knowledgable and works efficiently to make sure the experience is amazing. Brittany is super nice and always trying to keep the flow moving. The music is great and keeps an upbeat experience, and the money is great too. Makes you WANT to come work here just by hanging out with the staff. By far Rachel is the coolest medical staff? but I might be biased be

New donor in-processing takes no less that 3hours with you being 1st in line. Dont fail your vitals either otherwise you have to start over again next time. 5 hour wait with one person in front of me. Ill donate plasma for free with Red Cross. 50 minutes and done. On the plus side, the staff is always top quality here and amazing. The company NEEDS to better streamline that patient processing.

Great staff and experience donating. I wish the staff could still play their own music instead of the generic music on the TV though. ?? Would be nice to have movies or something playing as well.

I made an appointment as a new donor and drove 40 minutes, only to be told they don't honor appointments and I would have to wait 3 or 4 hours! Then, they said they could check my veins at least before I left. The lady who checked them said she needed to ask another lady if she would approve them because she wasn't sure. No confidence in this place whatsoever. I am not donating here.

So this place is not great, I have only had 1 smooth experience and I've been 5 times now. First day we sat for 3 hours then we're guilt tripped into leaving, and told the next day would be smooth and speedy. It WAS NOT. Took another 4 hours then was told my veins weren't good enough. The next time I came it took another 3 hours and then I was finally able to donate. Then because they are not great at giving all the info you need and that apparently you are assigned days to donate I went today and told I ca

Changing my review to 1 star. I honestly do not recommend this place for donations. One of the reasons is because of James, the text messenger person. There are rarely any bonus texts and the donation price has sunk. Whoever was in that position before had it going on. Another reason is because it can be a huge time consuming process when you have to do the annual check up! Last time, I had went early, read, waited, all of this, to finally after over 2 hours be denied because there was a tiny scratch on my

Very friendly, awesome place that I look forward to going to every week to donate plasma! They make the process easy, effortless and as painless as possible! Really enjoy, and appreciate the staff at the Belmont location!

I have used donating funds for extra fun money and savings for my worldly travels. All the staff are friendly and have never been rude or inconsiderate ever. It does seem like the wait times are less since the new year, which, is an improvement and I am happy Sunday will be an option soon!

I started donating regularly in February of this year (2022) and I wanted to share how AWESOME the staff are here. Everyone makes sure to make you feel comfortable and are happy to answer any questions or assist you in any way. I joke with them that it's like coming to the spa because you get to lay back and relax while nice people take care of you! RACHEL IS AWESOME!

I absolutely love coming here. I started donating this year and donating has become one of my favorite parts of the day! The staff is so amazing and they're the reason the donation process is so great. Jocelyn is so kind and always has an amazing attitude! I'm glad I chose this spot when it came down to donating! :)

It's really improved drastically over the years. There's been a large change in staffing recently so I noticed I was processed much quicker today than usual. I did see a lot of familiar faces which is comforting too! Depending on the payouts for the month- It's very worth it to go 2x per week!

I came here hoping to donate as a first time donor. The time for your first time is estimated at 2-4 hours. I sat there for about 2 before they asked me any questions. After they asked me about my tattoos and piercings they sat me back down for about another 2 hours. At the FOUR and a HALF hour mark they called me back and told me i could not donate because i couldn't remember where I got one of my piercings A YEAR AGO even though when they originally asked they said it was fine if i didn't remember. so the

Got turned away due to staffing issues after driving over 30 miles and making an appointment. Was told that appointments are not honored and it is on a first come first serve base. Was also told that it is easier to process return donors than it is first time donors.

The staff are very friendly and informative. The only reason for 2 stars is that the chairs they sit you in have little to no padding. So have fun trying to donate with a bar in your back. Especially if you have a bad one.

Update: The Staff from the ground up to management is amazing, but the fact that Talecris cut the pay scale AND they barley do bonus texts anymore, is pathetic. Pretty unfortunate when you still have to wait over an hour just to go back. As stated, the staff are awesome and do their best, but the company needs to do better ?????

Always kind and great smiles everyday. In the case of problems or reasoning why one would be unable to donate they explain everything very clearly as well as being very empathetic to everyone's situation.

Although it can take a little while to actually get hooked up and start donating, it's worth the wait. The staff are all very very friendly and kind, they make sure you are as comfortable as possible. Carlos always makes my day! Highly recommend:)

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Especially Sara she took great care of me on my visit. I would like to say thanks to Sara and I'd recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful staff. I was a little nervous during my first donation and they were with me every step of the way.

After the initial first donation, it becomes a fairly quick and easy process. Screening is always super efficient and everyone is friendly. Noelle is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. She truly cares about the people! This is the only Grifols I will go to because the staff is very nice and easy to talk to.

I've had a great experience donating at this center! The staff are great and easy to talk to, I love that they are so personable and remember you. Especially, Sara, she's the best!

Today was a good day. Team got me in quick. I came in hoping today would be a quick and would not have to wait. Kyla did great on the stick barely even felt it. Sara and Alma were nice to help navigate threw the website.

The staff is always upbeat and engaging, especially Alli. My donations usually take a bit longer, and they're always very patient with me. They may be understaffed, but they're doing an amazing job keeping up with the demands of the workplace. Also, Rachel, I hope you win that bet! :P

Honestly this place has saved my a$$ when in a tight spot for funds more times than I care to admit. It's clean, the staff are cool and the process is pretty straight forward with alot of incentives to keep coming back. 10/10 recommend. Plus you're helping people at the same time. Can't complain there.

Great staff! The manager Brandon is always so kind and makes sure you feel welcome every time! I already loved donating and helping people with my donations, but this place definitely makes it more of an enjoyable experience.

Can't say enough good things about this center. Friendly staff, and the money really helps to provide for me. The best part is helping save lives, and Sara really puts a smile on my face.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Great vibe at this place with music and good people who care.

I have given twice and so far it has been a very positive and rewarding experience. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly and make the time go by quickly. I am very excited to be giving and helping people who need it most. Update 4th donation end of the month feeling pretty good still and positive. I did have some frustration that I had a very tiny bruise that didn't really hurt at all apparently documented wrong. For a return feel like a long time I made an appt at 4 but apparently it didn't re

The staff is amazing here. They have always been friendly and cordial here. The reason I'm rating this three stars is they recently went to a new system in an effort to streamline the process and lean manufacturing is the right way to run any business however in this process the new blood pressure reading machines frankly do not work. If my blood pressure when read manually is in the high 70s and in the 80s when you use the old blood pressure machines I would think there is something wrong with the machi

The most amazing people ever these guys go above and beyond how people need. And I enjoyed donating and enjoy the conversations. The lapse that everybody enjoys everybody's company and it's great it's a It's a very amazing friendly environment.Everyone's so nice

I've been coming here for over 7 years and I've never had a problem. The employees do their best to provide comfort and a good environment which is important to me. Here to help save lives, so receiving ANY payment is a bonus.

The staff are friendly and funny. Brittani, Jeremy, Carlos, Lauren, Sara, and Rachel are some of my favorites! They make you feel comfortable and answer all your questions. Have a laugh, save a life, earn some money. What could be better?

I donate twice a week, every month. The very first time you go DOES take up to 5 hours but it has since been worth it. new appointment system is working wonderfully, I am usually in and out within 2 hours. Had to be deferred for a day one time because they made a mess-up in their system but they still paid me and let me come back to donate the next day so I made EXTRA that week. I make an extra $300+ a month which, as a full-time student working part-time is wonderful. The staff is great, they always check

Rachel is always so incredibly helpful and sweet whenever I come to donate. She always has a friendly smile and makes me feel so at ease. I really hate needals, so her positive attitude makes all the difference!??

FEB 27, 2024 UPDATE I haven't been back in 6 mo and as soon as I walk in the girl at front desk rudely told me check in was across the room, without even looking up from her phone. While processing she is on Zillow trying to look my address up. I asked her why. She said they have to verify my address. I tried to give her my driver's license and she said she has to look it up. Even though I have given a bill with my name and address, a driver's license with my name and address, she's saying she needs to see

Super slow staff with a cocky attitude there even though I had legal documentation form a medical provider the nurse still said no obviously had a stigma about being on opmt and told me they won't do anything with me had two good nurses that were helpful but if you don't like your job don't do it

Everyone here are great!! Funny, social, interactive with all donors, and do what they can to make your process fast and enjoyable. And speaking of fast they have really stepped up their game on shortening the time it takes to walk in through the door to go donate in the back. Today I timed myself and it took me 9/2 minutes to walk through the door do the kiosk, get screened, and get called to go donate. My time spent here is mainly dependent on how fast I concentrate on donating and pumping my fist. While

Every single time I've been in the staff are always on top of their game, and I'm usually in and out as safely as possible. Facility is also super clean and you can observe staff being serious about keeping everyone safe.

Donated here for years now and it's always been a good experience. Staff is super friendly and does a good job. Sometimes hard to get through via telephone, but it's a known issue. Overall good value and time well-spent!

This is a great way to earn extra money and help people who need it. Staff is awesome. It can be a little frustrating the first time because the initial screening process is so long I recommend expecting your first visit to take 4 hours. After that only about 90 min each time. It's worth the wait of the first visit.

Have been donating here for a few years now, and I can honestly say I've felt safe, comfortable, and welcome every time I've come in. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Rachel in particular is awesome!

Nice folks however absolutely inaccurate testing in their lab. If you have a potential positive for heb B yet these folks "CONTROL" Test isn't a positive nor negative just a faulty test like a dollar tree pregnancy test that may or not work this company will say you can never donate again for life. The did not apply the test properly, donated for months. Then Went to my doctor a week later....after health department sent a letter- other then being fat and hi cholesterol no sign of ANYTHING in my blood. No

I was a new Donor. Out of Six different staff members I was in contact with not one person gave their name. I filled out a form first thing and it asked for my list of medicine and then they asked me to do a number of different things all but yet in some form the same. All took over 40 minutes. Then a staff member still no name called out my name from an office by yelling from the other side of a closed door. Where I was told I take two Asthma medication so I was high risk and would need a letter from my do

Best donation center in town. Friendly staff that know what they are doing. Process was about 3hrs for the first time but after that it was super quick. Easy way to make some extra cash and help safe lives. Go donate ! ??

Waited well over an hour just to be told that my asthma is too severe, and "just to play it safe" I need to have my primary care physician sign off that my asthma is only treated prophylacticly for me to donate. How exactly does asthma affect the donation process? I take an inhaler MAYBE twice a day, this shouldn't be such a hoop jumping experience. I will not be returning to this location.

Ive been donating for a few months now and i gotta say the extra money comes in handy. the staff is very nice most the time i get a lady named jessica barber and she is a very kind person takes the time to make you comfortable in anyway she can. Always been a good experience

Staff seem nice but wouldn't know since we got turned away due to being a new donor to them. There is no place when you sign up to state your a new donor. When signing up if there is a spot to put new donor then give times available would be appreciated. 30 minute drive and gas prices are atrocious.

Out of all the reviews here, you should give this one a read. I have been donating plasma in Salem for five years, I have donated well over 150 times now, which is evident by the scar in my right arm. During those 5 years I have gone through the new donor process with both CSL Plasma on Lancaster and Talecris Plasma at this location multiple times. That being said, I have had about four terrible encounters (not mentioned here) with staff in Talecris, and I despise visiting. Talecris has always consistently

visit 2x weekly. It's nice to see people are excited when u arrive. Always happy eyebrows. Excellent stickers. Love they go the extra mile to see to your comfort while in their care.

The staff is always very nice and they try to get to know you a little every time you go. They try to make the process very quick and painless?it's a good way to help people and make a little money while doing it.

Smooth/efficient operation with friendly/communicative staff. Along with lucrative cash outs.

This place is so inconsistent it's wild. Sometimes they are great, hooking you up with deals and other days they are taking $165 away from you with no remorse. You can't expect to stick a needle in a patient and give them no payment, this has never happened to me at a plasma center before this and I've donated here hundreds of times and many other centers. Unprofessionally handled. I've kept going back just because they offer more money than csl. But I keep getting delayed and at this point it seems intent

Some of my favorite phlebotomists work here. You won't find better anywhere else :-) Thomas is always very kind, and Brittany is hilarious.

The staff are all super friendly here and know very well what they are doing! I like to donate knowing you are helping save lives but they also compensate you really well. The place is also very sanitary and clean! Highly recommend ??

Friendly and organized staff and they're working on making improvements which I'm looking forward to seeing. Watch out for the purple haired one though... just kidding, Rachel is awesome!

Been donating there for quite some time since I got my new car. The extra money comes in handy for my outrageous car payments lol. The place has been revamped and waiting time is a lot faster than what it used to be. Staff is friendly and professional. I can't complain about anything there really.

Great company, with very friendly staff. The phlebotomist there do a fantastic job with high precision on each stick. I highly recommend Carlos, Andy, Sarah, Elizabeth, Alisandra, and Brittany as they are all great phlebotomists. Rachel is awesome too

The staff are great they are very efficient and take good care of you. The facility is clean and love the appointment times. The staff always have a good attitude and sense of humor.
