I have loved donating here since 2019 and will continue to donate until I am no longer able to. This place has helped me many times pay my bills and are just a great place in general. I hope in the future they can accomodate future military donaters who come to donate but struggle to do so.
Poorly managed and exceptionally slow. They want you to make an appointment but they do not actually honor the appointment times. Employees range from fresh out of high school and clueless but very friendly to experienced but medium-rude.
Most staff are friendly, sometimes it seems like they're ?too many chiefs not enough Indians?, very clean and organized?expect to wait over half hour on weekends.
Wonderful service wonderful ppl but clearly understaffed. If I'm a regular I shouldn't be there for a whole process of like 4hours. Especially if I'm making an appointment or what's the whole point of appointments if we are not being prioritized. I should be able to check in if I'm prepared to scan go ahead and scan and wait to get screened. Lately that's been taking at least an hour to yet wait in the back for someone to be available to get poked and start the machine usually another 20 to 30 minutes at ti
I think they are having some staffing issues. They don't seem to have anyone to answer the phone anymore. They pride themselves on donor care, but then don't bother to answer the phone and it's a 24 mile round trip to go in person to ask about testing results.
Extremely in professional staff, witnessed them pricking people?s fingers with gloves on, not changing gloves or washing hands before doing the same to next patient . I went once for the 100$ first visit. The phlebotomist. Missed my vein by a long shot and I still currently after 9 days 3/4 of my arm bruised. The only friendly and helpful employee o dealt with was the the younger man with green hair. Everyone else seems like they were just trained and have no experience making a sandwich let alone providin
I went into Grifols today as a first time donor, I wasn't successful due to my pulse being too high. Everyone that I met/worked with during my time at the center were professional and friendly. The building was also very clean. Ultimately I decided that donating plasma probably isn't right for me. I spent a lot of time preparing for the donation such as drinking a ton of water, drinking body armor, and eating super clean. I also was sedentary for the past two days. It also takes me an hour round trip to
I had the worst visit today. What's the point of appts when you stick people that got here first, last. Made me wait 20 plus mins in the back while the workers ignored us all. They kept seating people and doing there sticks first. I always get skipped over here and it's really getting on my nerves. When you try to say anything they just blow you off. This is over a 2 hour visit. I get its Halloween but pay attention to your job. The lady that stuck Me made it hurt an was twisting the tube's without paying a
This place used to be quick and easy. 1 hour to hour fifteen. But not anymore, my last appointment took 3 hours to complete. 50 min in the waiting room, 20 min waiting for a spot and then I sat in the chair for another 25-30 min before I started and then sat for 20 min waiting to get it removed. The employees talk which isn't a bad thing but they always say there short handed and some even say they take extra long lunches. And from other reviews I don't think this will get fixed any time soon
I've been donating regularly here for over a year and they recently hired a bunch of new people and the close training they are getting is great! Leslie guided the new guy working on me so well! The teamwork and leadership she showed was awesome!
If you come here to donate Follow these rules Be hydrated and eat well prior to donating. Don't come to the center sick. Be nice to the staff they will be nice to you. Do not harass the staff and do what they tell you to do. Not everyone qualifies to donate if you do not qualify do not get angry with the staff. Don't follow these rules expect to have a bad time donating plasma.
The staff are great. I believe the problems this place has are management related. Until recently, I was able to make an appointment and be in the back within 15 minutes of my appointment. Now it's not even close to that. As I'm typing this I'm sitting in a donation bed and still haven't begun the donation process. My appointment time was 90 minutes ago. There's no point to doing the appointments if they overbook and can't keep up. I understand they can only process so many donors, but if they are short sta
I have been coming here and so far all the staff is really nice and helpful. No matter what questions or concerns I have, they have helped me so much. I do recommend any one that wants to try donating here to come and try it. ??????
Great place. Specially with staff like Jesus Badilla & Seth Luera! Always so helpful and courteous
I have donated here for years great place kind staff the reason why I give one star is something that I thought was weird I have never used a grifols plasma center before this one and out of nowhere one day they tell me I can't donate here because of a plasma center in Topeka Kansas deferred me when I have never lived in the mid west in my life because I am terrified of tornadoes so great plasma center best one in Yuma and shame on the grifols company for mistaken identity
It is what it is. The staff ive never taken issue with, they always do their best to fit me in even when I'm a new patient and they help the process greatly (they even let me run home to grab vital documents without taking me out of line. Granted I live next door and been going years so most of them know who I am and are always willing to help) People give low stars cuz of the beacurcy of it all, but I was there before, during and after Covid and even with the thousands suddenly caring for that bonus, the
I love Talecris/ Grifols. The staff is wonderful, always polite. Especially Vanessa. She has a great bedside manner ,goes above and beyond, And ALWAYS has a smile on her face. The place is always clean and sanitized. I highly recommend them to anyone. The only thing I would suggest is to PLEASE PLEASE fix the water fountain.
It would be 5 stars as most of the staff is great, very friendly and professional, but the big guy that regularly checks people in has a tendency to allow friends to skip ahead in the check in process and then when something is said he gets rude and defensive. 3 different times he has allowed people to skip the line for vitals checks and once he even allowed a guy to check in his wife who was 3 people behind him in line. He also allows people to check in 30-45 mins after their scheduled appointment time ahe
As everyone has stated, the staff is polite and courteous. Even when they accidentally leave you hooked up for an extra 25 mins while they unhook people who finished 5-10 mins after you. You better make an appointment too, so you can get there 10 mins before and then not scan in for 15-20 mins after the appointment window, so they can scam the higher ups that they profess people quickly and efficiently here, when that is the complete F-ing opposite of what happens here. The system has no way of knowing y
Leslie and Vanessa are always kind and fast with their work. I feel at ease when they are the ones working on me and know their care will be perfect
I've been donating off and on for over 4 years, for the most part they are friendly, lately it seems they are just more worried about the numbers. Staff has been distant and cold. They have personal conversations with each other rather than focusing on donors vitals. There has been a couple occasions they almost forgot the protective cover for the thermometer because there too busy chatting it up! Also i don't feel that it's good to be constantly rushing eachother and talking about needing more donors so hu
Talecris goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and give you great customer service. It is an incredibly welcoming and clean environment and a great way to help people while getting some cash on the side. Not to mention if you're a new donor, GO NOW, your first 10 donations are $100 each for new donors. I've never had a bad experience there and the staff actually has the experience to only have to stick the needle in once and they're so good it doesn't even hurt imo. Trust me I've had nurses at
I've always had great experiences with these guys. I'm a hard stick on occasion but the staff was always caring enough to take their time and do the job right. The one time I had an issue I was approached by a Mrs Tobin, one of the administrators. She listened to my concern, addressed it right away and made me feel more than comfortable about coming back. I won't go to another plasma center.
10/10 overall good business easy way to make money always short wait times, never there more than an hour at the max. Very generous employees. Well maintained building as well.
Staff is amazingly friendly and professional. Hard to choose one tech but my two favorite ladies is Melissa G and Marlene R they both possess leadership and great people skills! I honestly think the HR people should buy lunch for all the staff they all rock!!
This place went from good to bad. Now you have to have an appointment to donate? The people still walk around doing nothing, one nurse is rude. We'll grifols doesn't need my donations. Update, it is now 8/11/23 and this place sucks worse than ever, I mean why make an appointment if everyone can just walk in and go ahead of you while you wait hours after your appointment? Kudos grifols you screwed the pooch again. That should be a minus 1 star
Professional, polite staff and a comfortable atmosphere. Wait times are pretty reasonable for the volume of people that roll through there. That should even improve, as they are expanding. Expect to be there for awhile on your first visit, as there is a medical screening process necessary prior to donation. I dig that I am helping people through my donation, but also get reimbursed for my time.
I am a returning donor. Everything was flowing so good until they decided to flip Everything around. Before you would go straight to the kiosk and ever since they went back 2 signing in the wait is totally absurd. A 1 hours wait turned into an almost 2 1/2 hour wait ridiculous. People in the front need 2 be more friendly ?? they are just standing around people in the back saying not to send people wow I say go back to the old reliable method u guys had this section 1 2 and 3 is not working
I'm really disappointed in this place as a father of two that donate here. In order to share costs, my two children ( one 18, one 23) go here to donate. Today was my youngest second donation but he couldn't donate because he needed a current letter of his residence. No problem. My oldest went in and donated. While my oldest was donating they told my 18 yo that he couldn't wait inside when it's 110 degrees out. This isn't the first time. One other time I couldn't leave work at my scheduled time so I
I have been donating here for sometime now and the staff and management are always friendly and caring. The service is the best around and even when its busy the team here goes out of their way to make your time there a great one. Never a dull moment with their team they talk to everyone and always have something on the tv to watch. If you havent been here before swing by for your first visit and the staff will walk you through everything. Make sure to let them know I refered you also thanks!
Polite and courteous staff. What I didn't like is that when it comes to troubles with the machines, you can only watch them gossiping, telling jokes and laughing. Basically doing every funny thing instead of helping you.
I would like to recommend to come join Talecris in Yuma location. The staff are amazing above all management is superb. They always answer my question and concerns. Above all the staff are always attentive. So I give kudos to those who deserve it and want to thank you Gabe, Francsico and Kevin, Stacy and Michelle. Have a Happy New Year. ????? from Sandra A. Clark
Overall the service here is satisfactory, just make sure you pay attention to your payment amount, they will jip you out of your bonuses!! Happened to me today!! Waiting for them to add it to my account as I type!! Just an update, I had to call back an hour later just for someone to tell me there was nothing written on my chart specifying a bonus to be given, like what do I need to lie about $10 for smh, then he got an attitude and said he will put it on my account when he can, like I'm stuck waiting for th
The staff here is great especially Diana G she's awesome very friendly and welcoming. I donate 1-2 x a week and never have problems. You do get compensation and is also for a great cause!
Place seems dated but decent. People are okay friendly kind of snotty. My first time there went great, I have horrible veins but always have donated because always got a super skilled phlebotomist. In this 1st visit I got Stacy she ROCKS and knows what she's doing. She got me in one stick! Now...2nd visit, NOT good. Went in, 67 questions took forever due to a slow machine. Sat and waited for a few minutes, went to intake booth and that went great. Stepped into the donation room and I waited for a few mi
The place has people full of attitudes God forbid I can't remember dates but I'm locked out for the reason of not remembering a date the nurse always has the look like she doesn't want to be at work than find a new carrier and quit simple
Return new donor...after years and this place seemed as good as any. I did notice the workers spend more time chatting it up about personal stuff, mostly Spanish speaking which is arguable about being comforting. I speak both so I don't mind either. The building is run down clean inside but needs an update. The thing is: if you keep an updated new space it will impose upon folks to "tow the line". Just because it's donation doesn't mean it's low class. They should reimburse better across the board for th
Seriously astonished by the professionalism of this center. Gabe is the best manager I have ever encountered. He answered all my questions and concerns without hesitation. He was always very polite and courteous. Highly recommended.
Normally I have no problems. Today however when I went in I had not passed a protein test and instead of telling me when I got there they left me sit for 45 minutes while they called people that came in after me. It wasn't until I went up to complain that they decided to tell me I couldn't donate because of it. I am glad that they check levels to make sure you aren't harming yourself donating, however this is not the first rest time they have left me sit like I wasn't there. The first time I had an appointm
Amazing staff, very friendly. Mostly everyone there speaks Spanish and English so they can work with everyone who goes to donate plasma. Also,Rodrigo is one of the employees there who usually works on me and he's probably one of the nicest dudes I ever met.
Employee jammed the tip of the needle into my vein, not bothering to put it all the way in, because he was far too busy talking to other people to be bothered to do his job. Due to this, the blood was not put back into my vein, instead, it burst my vein, causing minor internal bleeding. They refuse to acknowledge that this is due to their negligence, and instead insist that ?sometimes bruising happens?. They are great, only when they do not cause issues, but when they do, they have absolutely no integrity
Leann Pixley, if you actually read the materials they gave you it says how much you need to weigh to donate. Don't hate because you didn't read through it fully. That is not their fault but YOURS. If you can't read materials carefully and ask if you have questions then don't go. simple as that. its people like you who make it harder for other people to go. On another note, I go 2 times a week, I have for about 2 months now. I love being able to save someone's life, yes the reimbursement is awesome, came whe
They have a friendly and courteous staff. The new donor physical takes several hours but they keep you informed throughout the whole process. They make an effort to remember repeat donors and my donations usually take about an hour.
The first time I came here it took a while but that is expected with all the screening they have to do. Once I got into the donation are the staff were very nice and they all answered any questions I had. My arms weren't sore I was completely fine and its free money what the heck.
Amazing staff, friendly experience. Cold building. Dont chew chewing tobacco. Janina was incredible. Chris was cool too. He has an impressive beard and played baseball. So even tho he makes a living out of shoving 17 gauge needles into peoples arms - hes aight. I would say they could offer a better referral bonus. 50 bucks is about 1.5 dozen eggs now..... but, that quipe is with corporate. Youre helping a billion dollar family become a billion dollar family by "donating" blood..... lets call it a spade if
I've been coming to do plasma for two years now and the staff has always been great to me. But one thing that's very irritating is that you can always hear the girls drama they have with one another. They don't hide it. But they are great people. One other thing can management please get on not just the new people but veterans too, about 30 seconds with the iodoin before they stick you it does make a difference when it's done the RIGHT way AND let the girls know not everything is a Race when setting us u
I've been a customer since these doors opened in 2008 with breaks of course. I know your techs are literally a watch and supposably learn to know the skill of venipuncture (one swift stick)."No". Several of them are moving that needle around. A prosthetic teaching venipuncture arm needed. The tech training has to know and stay with that trainee, work schedule as well with no passing to another tech to train them. They will be showing their way and may ad confusion. The stick experience alone could get qui
I've been donating for nearly 8 yrs. now with nearly 750 positive experience?s very soon. The staff has always been amazing. They have had some awesome prizes for donor appreciation in the past to include bicycles tablets which I was fortunate to win 1. ice cream bars on the 4th of July and hot dogs on different occasions. Marlene, Andrea and Angel have always done a great job with my Sticks. I'm looking forward to my T-shirt coming up next Tuesday this month Aug. 2018 for my 6th donation and now with this
I went in to donate for the first time, they ask you to be well hydrated but their drink machine is broken. I answered a million questions without a sip of water or anything to eat for almost 3 hours. The guy sliced my finger without telling me he was going to do that. I made an inappropriate comment to him and it hurt really bad. After finding out that physically I'm a great candidate they sent me away unable to donate supposedly because they thought it would affect my mental health. I will not go back, ev
Staff here is very rude, have attitudes and unprofessional. I hear them mock donors plus say jokes amongst themselves about others, not professional at all! You'll also be waiting past your appointment time with how packed this place gets even showing up early. Ridiculous go elsewhere!!!
This Talecris is a pretty cleanly and chill environment. They got TVs playing and Wi-Fi to enjoy your visit. The staff is pretty friendly and inviting. Melissa godoy is an example of a happy, cheerful and knowledgeable staff member. Among others whom make the process a breeze.
Donating here once or twice a week wasn't a bad gig; you get compensated for your plasma while at the same time someone who really needs it now has access to it. On your first visit they give you a free checkup, plus the kiosk used at every visit is pretty streamlined. They have WIFI. You just have to put up with wait times and the like. My advice is to arrive early as possible or avoid the rush hours (if you can), bring a blanket because it does get cold during the process, and of course make sure your soc
I would give them a five star because for the most part everything is pretty clean inside the building except one important room in that building, the BATHROOM!!! I hate the sinks. My hands do not ever feel clean after washing my hands when I have to press down the knob with one hand the whole time otherwise it automatically turns off the water. Then I have to try to wash one hand by itself which feels awkward. Then I have to use that one washed hand to hold down the knob again for the water to stay on and
This place is a joke. The waiting room stinks, they take in druggies, they don't tell you anything when you walk in, the staff half the time are just standing around. I was denied donating because I'm 5 lbs under weight, but guess what they don't tell any one how much you must weigh to donate. I waited there 3 and a half hours for them to turn me away.
Excellent service. I enjoy coming here to donate to my community and help itgers improve their health. I always revive kind and professional service from the men and woman that work here. Melissa Godoy and nayeli are always cheerful and they get the job done beautifilly.
Leslie P Sahira H and Kat R are great workers with good attitudes and i can say this about all the Staff at Talecris Plasma Yuma.
Grifols is a great and donor appreciated company! It is always a good experience when I go down there!! and phlebotomist Melissa Godoy is great with the donors and makes every visit a happy and memorable visit. I look forward to donating when I get screened in by Melissa. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to your job. Your the best!!!
It's a clean and friendly environment.....Marlene is great.....very friendly and professional.....it was her lunch and she waited on me because she was the only familiar face.... I rarely go but when I do it's always great to get great service from ppl who loves their job.......Thanks again Marlene....you're awesome!!! ^-^.....
Everyone is always super friendly and helpful. They made the donating process easy. Definitely going back.
As a returned donor after years, I must say staff are still friendly, new donor process time was fair and reasonable for the time I went, I'm very honest when it comes to reviews for any areas of opportunity or positive feedback, if people don't have patience for the type of work that is done here then don't bother coming, otherwise ?? and patiently wait What I still see that donors tend to forget, YOU MUST SIGN IN AND WAIT TILL YOUR NAME IS CALLED TO HEAD TO THE KIOSK
I'm always having arm problems when I'm there but Melissa Godoy . Is my fav. Person to get. Shes always making sure my arm doesn't hurt and she conversates with me which makes things less tense . Shes hands down my #1 request.
talecris was a very professional and customer service friendly every time Iv been into the establishment !!! Have been going for years now and would recommend this place to anyone for any donating needs!!! One employee particular Janina is always a outstanding help every time I have been in to talecris and has always went out of her way to help myself and from what I seen any customer that needs customer service !!! Would definitely recommend!!!
I've been to the center a few times and every time I go I look forward to seeing that one small Nurse, Dev I think they call her. She's just a joy to be around and she always makes my day. Ask for her for your physical!
Staff are really friendly. It's fast and simple. Yuryoko is such a sweet lady! She always has a smile on her face!
I told the staff it was hurting they said it's just because how fast liquid is pumping in the arm. 2 weeks later my arm still looks like this they said it's normal and don't come back until it's 2 inches
Been coming to Talecris Yuma for years. Always treated fantastic by the Staff, like Diana G, or Arlette. Care for their donors and always do a good job.
Everytime I go I see the prettiest girls. They work really fast which is scary because im afraid they're gonna bump me while the needles in or stick me wrong. The trainees are the ones that stick and pull the worst. Ouch! The veteran employees are the best. They have tv and Cable and wifi. Good place to get out of the heat and make a few extra bucks. *Plasma is the fluid that surrounds the blood cells-its pretty cool! Glad to help??
Very clean, very proficient, very fast
OK, I fully understand the restrictions and ALL of the other requirements. But the overly astringent requirements of new donors .... ridiculous ! This requirement of bringing recent mail is absurd since the lovely postal system cannot seem to postmark mail very well. It wasn't perfect but IT WAS LEGIBLE. Learn to read people ! It's OK though, because I give up. It just isn't worth it.
awesome place! Always so polite and friendly. And they get you going fast no much wait.
My donation with physical took 3.25 hours.. their intake process and waiting to be called to use the kiosk makes every visit at least 10-15 minutes longer than necessary. Very inefficient process. Streamlining badly needed here.
No matter how you look at it, you can't deny the fact that donating plasma and the Yuma Telecris office is nothing short of a win-win-win situation. First of all, you are giving of yourself to help another human being. You're helping save another person's life. How cool is that? The Yuma office provides you with a comfortable, super clean, uber safe and friendly environment for the process. Flat-screen TV's, free WiFi internet access and more. The staff and employees are always consistent, kind, friendly pr
They don't tell you everything to bring and will have you waiting for hours for nothing. I'd avoid this place like the plague. They can't even properly stick people half the time. By all means if you like them digging in your arm with a needle go ahead.
Ive been goin there for awhile and all the staff is very friendly I never have to wait long and the pat outs are real good. Its like having a second job!! Thanx Talecris!!
Vanessa A., Marline, Melissa G. and Diana G have been a great help to me every time ive gone in to donate. Always a cleanly place. Highly recommended
Been donating off and on for several years now. Talecris Plasma in Yuma has been the place of choice for my donations. The facility is well kept. The staff always polite, and the wait times have gotten cut down considerably since I first started donating. Shoutout to all the hard working ladies and gentlemen of Talecris in Yuma. Thank you all. Yurycko and Jianay you both rock.
Staff is very friendly and prompt with procedure for donations. Melissa Godoy has been very courteous and friendly and is one of the few staff members that I like to see whenever I come to donate.
Great place to donate! Everyone is always friendly and the atmosphere is pretty relaxing. Oh and it's super clean which is always nice :)
Had excellent service from Melissa Goody. Always have had a great experience here. The staff is friendly and courteous and very attentive to everyone.
Even though I was unable to donate, the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable . They had me in and out very quickly and I did not feel like I wasted my time. Thank you for your professionalism!
I enjoy the fact that it's always clean inside the building, could fix the water fountain or offer water/snacks but other than that it's a bet decent place to donate.
Easy appointments. Paid quickly. Very clean and very nice professional staff! Plus you get to help people who need plasma.
I have been donating here off and on since 2015 and this is the best place to donate in Yuma county(CSL in San Luis Sucks big Time ??????) the customer service is awesome and they make you want to come back a donate again plus Gabriel and Francisco are two of the best managers I have here seen and they have created a awesome team of helpful, donor minded People
Great customer service and very fast They also make sure you never at the point to pass out a f very respectful. Some of them are very funny too
It's clean and they pay promptly. The new appointment system has made things run much more smoothly, now.
They need to find people how to do their jobs right i had a tattoo done in 2015 an they didn't mark it down. Which is dumb because i had a few physicals done by them an now they saying im lying about it and banned me from going there
Shoutout to my friend Jesus Badilla Jr. for being so friendly and nice. He give me such a great service everytime I go. Shoutout to Brenda Lizeth too. Very professional and nice.
in and out of the plasma center within an hour no long wait times ever. Nice employees always have a smile on their face overall good Business easy way to make some money
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
