They suck royally and are SUPER unprofessional! The nurse with the annoying voice is always super rude and talks to ppl crazy. They NEVER have soap in the restrooms. The baffling negative aspects go on and on. I'm not wasting my time on this location or this review anymore. If you knw you knw!
I walked two hours the other day before work to donate and then they said I need a proof of address I walked another 2 hours the next day and I did bring a proof of address with my name and address on it then they said well it needs to have a date on it so we know it has been in the last 60 days so I walked back home brought another proof of address with the date on it and walked another 2 hours just to go there and get told by the staff oh our manager just left and we can't put that in the system he is the
Grifols allowed me to schedule an appointment but didn't let me donate when I arrived and said nun bout it beforehand, then bursted my homeboys vein open to where he couldn't donate either.
Sick of them wasting my time. Showed up 5 minutes early for my appointment. I scan the QR code and fill out the questions. It tells me I'm good to go. I wait and people get there after me and get sent back. So I fill it out again and tell the lady I've filled the form out twice. She says "it didn't pop up on my end." And then proceeds to walk away into a room without saying anything. So I wait, she comes out, and then asks me to scan the QR code again. I've already scanned it twice and filled out the quest
After sitting in a waiting room after checking in, i watched as everyone in the room was called. Even people that came in well after me. I canceled and will not go back. At least get the ball rolling before you make me feel like cattle.
They don't like returning donors. I have donated over 40 times only to be met with attitude on a regular basis and having to wait longer and longer to get patched so I can leave. Don't know why it's so bad to repeatedly donate, but they don't like it here.
Good staff except they allow so much audible racism by the crowd against non blacks. White customers or employees are talked down to nearly every visit I go. I understand they can't control people's hate but they could stop looking or smiling when comments are made. Or they could try to reduce them through the slightest resistance.
I wish i could post pictures my huband had an ugly purple bruse thats about 3 inch from who ever stuck him. certain people there will mess up your vain my husband left there yesterday after being connected for over an hour and repoked they were attempting to poke him a 3rd time when he had them unhook him and left. In a result he was deferred for 50 something days. It seams to me like certain staff need more training. Hows the donor punished for the staff not being able to do there job properly. I feel sorr
The staff are rude and careless, they have destroyed my boyfriend?s vein, because of their lack of attention I have gotten very ill while donating, they ignored me as my skin turned pale and cold and I became lightheaded, they are unorganized and lost my donor information after only a short time of not donating and they are clearly under qualified considering they turned my boyfriend away accusing him of drug use for acne on his arm when any qualified professional can tell the difference between acne and a
Not sure how this place has so many positive reviews! I have multiple horrid interactions and negative reoccurrences. The staff (though some are nice) treat you like you're bothering them just being there or are ruining their phone time! No professionalism what so ever! Tons of lip smacking and eye rolling when asked to do something. ALWAYS LOUD!!! There is never a short of drama over who got their lunch break first, why such and such didn't come in that day, what manager they can't stand, ALL things that I
Find other means of getting money! This place is so slow and unprofessional! For a place that changes employees so much you would think they would have a better attitude. New employees need more training, who wants someone sticking them 3 times just to get it right! Management or higher up it's time to step up. The floor is slow enough with them ignoring you being on their phones, holding conversations amongst themselves. They can hear a machine beep and just walk away. I literally was beeping for 11 minute
Staff are rude alot of the time and judgemental and they have failed to pay me after successful donations several times to the point i had to wait on hold for hours with no answer until a couple days later.
Hi I would like to thank the staff that was working on 9/5/23 . I did not do so good giving plasma this day, the staff worked quickly to help me feel better . I received a gatorade and had ice applied to my forehead and back. I admit sometimes I get impatient while giving but all and all these ladies and gentlemen are alright.
Haven't been in a minute but this place should get a big 10th star lol
Just started a month ago and have no complaints! Great staff and clean environment! Sometimes there's a wait but worth it to me to be able to help someone and save money.
They alright, but the staff needs to stay until they pay all their donors their money. I sometimes come in an hour before they close to donate. And it goes smoothly until I leave. Because I have to wait until the next day to even get my money when I needed then. I know they want to go home but they need to take in consideration that people really need that money that day.
I like donating here, I especially like one phlebotomist Blessing. She is so friendly, polite, caring, funny, and professional. She also went beyond by remembering both my husband and my names. We look forward to seeing her there. She will always will be our # 1 . Thank you Blessing . I pray they will acknowledge that you are an asset to there company
Brandi was very informative. Very thorough..and kind..I hate needles but the you g lady who hook me up made it very co.fortable
It has gotten so slow here. Some staff are great and thanks for that other staff are terrible and look at you like you are a crack head just for coming here. It's a shame you wait a hour before you get to the blood pressure table and then another thirty min when you get to the back then on the machine about a hour. It is easy money but the staff should at least try and speed the process a Little.
Ive been going here for years and its been a great experience but know some of the workers they have there are very rude not all of them but some of them are
My experience donating plasma at this center has been a positive one. If you bet the wait is long, it is due to the number of donors who are there. The staff is very helpful and do anything to make you comfortable. They answer any questions asked. Donating plasma benefits many people, including the donor. Not only are you paid for your time and donation, I am helping people who need it.
Very nice and friendly staff. Pay is consistent throughout the month sinus there as soon as you're done doing your donation. a great way to help people and I'm a little cash on the side.
I can't think of a more enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. Polite staff, friendly conversation, if you're lucky a good SyFy movie. There will be a wait and it is kept pretty cold so prepare accordingly.
Wont be donating anymore. I'm crippled, I have a back injury that prevents me from standing or squatting for very long. I can't work due to this injury. I informed the staff of my injury and asked if I could sit in a chair while waiting to sign in to donate. I was told that we aren't allowed to sit while waiting to donate anymore. They were short with me and did not care at all about my problem. I could use the extra income really bad bcuz I'm homeless but I won't be returning to a place that doesn't care a
I've been donating plasma for at least three years. From my experience, veterans used to get 10 extra dollars and a "fast pass." They since removed that extra pay and moved the "fast pass" to Sunday's. I've literally showed up around 45 minutes from close on several occasions to be left at a locked door because they are "short staffed" apparently. Expect the whole donation process to be 2 to 3 hours for a measly $50. Keep in mind they offer more money at different locations which I assume is by state. I hav
READ BEFORE DONATING! I'm not saying some of their employees are racist but it sure seems like it. A little backstory, I've been donating here since 2016, on and off. Never really had any problems until recently. It started with certain employees calling me to the back and telling me I couldn't donate that day because I had a red dot on my arm. Whenever I could donate, I'd finish up and the employees would skip me and bring down everyone else and I would be last to leave. I didn't make a big deal out of thi
I am a first time donor and have been sitting here for 1hour and 30 minutes with 8 people in the building to donate.all but 3 of us have left and I still have not even talked to anyone about donating except to initially fill out paperwork with my name and address. I don't know if I will ever come back again.
The ladies here have been kind and took care of me twice. As long as yall don't go in there acting rude and crazy, everything will run smooth.
Currently 6-6-17 I been sitting on this machine for an hour and 9 min just beeping. Workers just look at you and keep going. I'm trying to respectfully allow them to do their job. But now since they joking then I'll have no choice but to report to a supervisor. They want you to respect them but as a donator they don't respect you
I enjoy the atmosphere of the workers, although, if you attempt to donate within 1 to 2 hours of closing, always get "deferred" for "some special" reason. I usually come through mid day and never have been deferred for ANY reason. The 3 times I attempted to donate after 5, something is always "wrong" and I get deferred......
If they ask you to do a blood sample be ready to wait at least 2 weeks before it comes back in Lafayette it takes 5 days for a sample to come back that is outrageous to wait two weeks for a simple blood sample.... a multimillion-dollar company should have all its resources in the back of the building..... Something needs to be done..... After 2 weeks and 2days still no blood sample
The speed has been getting worse and worse. They keep making changes that don't go over well with donors. Many donors are getting fed up with the service. Needs to be better organized. Bathrooms are bad. Tends to be no soap, dryers don't work half the time. Men's restrooms floor tends to be covered in pee.
Although the music is repeated BC its on a track it doesn't bother me much, the 17g needle is common for such procedures (in dialysis they go up two sizes try that!), the temp. Was slightly below freezing but the saline return didn't help. The staff was great! I will be returning!
Love going here, people are very friendly, have given me great tips on how to make donating easier, faster. The money is very helpful also. Def recommend!
The staff is always complaining about management in front of the donors and talking about subjects they shouldn't as if donors weren't there. The staff up front are friendly enough but the people in the back are unprofessional. Many of them act like donors are just mannequins and nine times out of ten their sticks hurt and some don't even talk to us.This plasma center has gone ghetto and I'll be filing a complaint with corporate.
I have been donating for over a year and everything was fine till they got new machines and one would listen to me when i said the cuff was to tight and it was the velcrow and not the pressure and after that i have been having nothing but trouble because they started saying i had a body odor so i started taking a shower before heading up to donate and i even sprayed my self from head to toe with body spray and they still say i offended other donors with the smell of feet when i had no one around me and i di
The only reason this place gets one star is because you can't rate zero. A lot of the staff is unprofessional. It takes extremely too long to get through the process. Today I went and there was a new girl there who seemed so scared to mess up. The person coaching her seemed a little demeaning towards her..but this may be her technique. There is also a short black lady that ALWAYS speaks when she passes the small wait by area in the back. The new donor fee is 1st: $50 2nd: $75 3rd: $75. If you are a new dono
The staff is always so friendly, professional and on task every time. It never rakes too long and is a pleasant experience.
Customer service is very quick. All employees are respectful, team members , & get the job done quick. I love the atmosphere.
The staff is very friendly and nice to me. I like helping people who need plasma. The money is also very helpful for me. It makes me happy to see my plasma friends.
I've had a amazing experience with this place. They are very friendly and very fast pace I would recommend anyone to go that wants to.
This place treats you great, they always try their best to get you in and out as fast as possible and everyone is so kind.
This place is awesome!!! I have enjoyed every trip so far and made a difference in someone?s life along with some extra cash!!
Ms.shelia is the greatest! I like her Connie and Qua they are fun and when I come there we always having fun they make me laugh now I donation having fun with them and the rest of the crew members y'all are so cool and y'all are great thanks for having fun when I come with me because I am Jeffery in my cologne smell good lol???????? Mrs Kathy your great??
This is Kimberly Tucker. Im using kaitlun account because i couldnt log into my google. I would love to give the upmost admiration for Kaitlun Demouchet. She was very polite, empathetic, helpful! Love Her! And the facility!
Im not giving my plasma to this place. The workers are rude and they keep deferring me everday for very petty reasons. Not to metion i waited and hour and a half for my name to be called. This is why there is a shortage on plasma. I dont care who needs plasma. They shol wont get if from me.
I come here to help with gas. But the staff is great. They are thorough with you care and watch out for you. It enables me yo help others.
Service has been quick in and out staff is well trained and professional. Make a point to visit as much as I can to help others ty grifols
Grifols is such a great company! they are very wonderful nice very sanitary. i?ve been going for 2 months and i enjoy coming.
As I Biology teacher I appreciate these types of facilities, and advocate for my students to donate blood and plasma. However, this particular place is a sham for information. Two issues that kept me from donating. One, they would not allow my wife and child to stay, as children are not allowed IN THE BUILDING, no where on the website, nor when I called was this mentioned. Second my drivers liscense didn't have my suffix on it. They must not be hard up for plasma like they are always broadcasting. So don't
I came in and filled out my paperwork honestly. They barred me from donating until i had my doctor fill out paperwork for a prescription. 5 years later and i still havent been cleared and they are still dragging their feet and not contacting me when things need to be done. This is not how you should run a clinic.
Staff are always courteous and professional. The monthly events are nice and pay schedule is good. 10/10 would recommend
I have been donating since February and love it! It's extra cash for saving lives and the people are awesome! Easiest money I have ever made
Great staff who are always friendly. Do their best to get people through and out in a timely manner.
I'm Giving one star only because you have to at least give one. The place is horrible I made a complaint about the plasma center at 800 Jackson st Alexandria Louisiana. I went to donate I have large arms they have a thigh cuff to read clients BP with large arms. The thigh cuff is not recommended to use on arm BP because it's not technically correct and can lead to errors, and misdiagnosis. I spoke to someone that the center was run by he said they a billion dollar company but can't get the proper equipment
Very friendly staff, well trained, and all about there business. When you come and you a regular the staff even knows who you are at times.
have mixed feelings ,have had a few good donations, had a few bad where i have been stuck with needle , and had upto 3 or 4 people mess with needle then was told something not right ! then only paid half ,because they decided to stop . then my arm was bruised for a week or two , and told to come when bruise was gone ! it did not matter that the workers were the people that created the bruise ! on the other hand ,my good donations were done by people who told me they had been doing this job for 4 to 12 years
Don't schedule anything. You're going to be there all day don't schedule anything the staff is rude as f***. Place is hot garbage the only thing that you really going to go there for is the money in the money is guaranteed other than that place is over all f****** garbage.
Love the staff, have a good experience.ever time I go.you have two watch some of the, other donors tho.but, over all a pretty good experience.
There are many good workers here.... they try their best to be kind and patient with us and knowing that some of us will urk their nerves. ... God bless
The Ladies at the plasma center in Alexandria, Louisiana are beautiful. Gorgeous. They really make saving lives something you'd have to see for yourself, and are appreciated. Thanks Ladies!
First vist takes a very long time, but once you're in it's not long at all, just do the questionnaire and get in line.
My experience have been great the staff are wonderful I love these people ??
Love this place the staff is friendly and work as fast as they can. Really like getting paid to save lives.
In Alexandria, Louisiana, the staff is wonderful. I've been donating for two years and never had a bad experience with the staff.....Keep up the good work.
I ENJOY DONATING BECAUSE I KNOW THAT I'M HELPING OTHERS, THE TECHS ARE VERY GOOD AT THEIR JOB, PLUS I GET TO MAKE SOME EXTRA MONEY.
Omg! It is horrible! Make sure u clear your whole day. Everyone looks like they don't wanna be here. It literally took 3 hours just to get my blood pressure taken and a finger prick. Everything is breaking down this is ridiculous, didn't they just build this place
I love the opportunity the center gives to everyone in the community. The center staff is always super friendly and creates a positive environment.
People are pleasant not giving 5 stars because they choose to schedule you rather than allowing you to come in when it is convenient to you. I would not care, except that you are volunteering.
I love the plasma center here in Alexandria,La. Their employees are the best and they are always friendly to me when we come in.
Not too long of a wait, the faculty are fantastic. I always have a great experience!
They lie about there buddy bounse and change what people put down .. they pay you as little as the can and sell your plasma for high dollar. . this place is in a poverty area for poor people to drain there body's of such resources it need to heal and protect itself ..
They have a really good staff team! They will try to get you in and out as fast as they can!
At times i come and not be feeling so happy. The Staff Change My Mind Every Time!!! As Long As Ive Been Coming I Can Say Everybody Make A Diffrence! Especially Conny And Adam.
Staff is nice enough. It is a process, just have patience and you'll be on your way.
was treated rudely an asked to leave cause i wasnt going to be stuck by staff that was questioning where to stick.
To new donors ?Please Donate & Help Save Lives? the Techs are really nice & make u feel comfortable.I have my favorite & he knows who he is...
I love Mee Mee she has always took care of me. I love grifols thanks for letting me be apart of the family

Staff are friendly. Willing to help when and where they can to make you comfortable
I love that I am able to donate plasma that can be used to make drugs for people who need it. The staff at this location are also very friendly.
Very clean place and really helpful employees answered all my questions.
Friendly people sometimes, clean atmosphere most of the time. Enjoy the service and pay sometimes
They treat you like your lying when you tell them you didn't get paid what you should have
Great staff. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
