Myself and a number of my family members donate plasma here, and it's always a pleasant experience. The facility itself is clean, and the staff is all great. They are always friendly, welcoming, happy to answer questions, and make sure everyone is comfortable. I wish I could remember their names, the way they remember mine, but I do know Brianna because she takes care of me a lot, and she rocks!
Staff was very helpful and kind when looking for my spouse?s missing phone. They actually looked, and called back. Very impressed at the positive and helpful response. My spouse always says good things about his experiences here too. Thank you Amy & Kim. Stay golden.
Diana, Brianna, Stara, and Emily were all very helpful and kind. It was my first time donating and they were all patient and happy to answer all my questions! I'm really glad I have people who are friendly and chatty. I enjoyed my wait and the process of becoming a new donor was quite easy and simple
My husband went into to give blood and the guy that did the information in front first his personality and his guest interaction is horrible! So he pulls my husband in the back and told him he couldn't give blood! Never gave a reason and he has good blood he doesn't drink or smoke or does drugs! So it's false advertising cause they say we need blood and we take anyone with a good physical and he turn my husband down! U hear all the time they need plasma I just want to know why they turn u down when my hu
Super friendly and warm environment. All the staff makes you feel welcome and comfortable. They are all knowledgeable and make the whole experience enjoyable. Between Gail, Bre, Makayla, and Amy it's an experience I look forward to each week.
While the staff was respectful and nice, they didn't seem to really care. what bothers me is that they told me that it would take almost 3 hours for me to get in and donate despite my having an appointment. Ultimitely, I just decided that by the time I would have donated, I could have just gone elsewhere and be seen faster.
The staff at my donation center are always encouraging and helpful. I feel confident that I am in good hands and donation is a pleasure because ai know I am doing something powerful to help others.
Boo. OK at first but then finding excuses not to let you get in on the 2nd visit. If you are a red (hard stick) they don't like to see you. I got " inadvertently " locked out of the system because of a typo they can't do anything about on my $75.00 visit on a Friday. Tuesday the next week it still isn't fixed. Really! A deferral they can't seem to remove. Come on...going elsewhere. This shows they are losing money and need to play games...or just don't care .
Great place, everybodys very friendly and works very fast to get you in and out , had nothing but great experience since I started donating at this location
Great place they are basicly like friends to me we usually joke and such haha and we usually joke around when I am there and such even though it's kinda hard for me cause of my high resting heart rate.
Awe.. shoot guess it is who ask. They get busy. I have a good experience 95% of the many times I been here. I won a Xbox last week. Been to other places in other states this is the cleanest most friendly by far. I recommend this place cause I get in and out in about an hour. Good spot!
These guys are awesome! Everyone (especially Emily) always get me right! Quick process times and great people.
The people at Talecris Plasma are great! They are very friendly and get the job done! I appreciate how at one point I wanted to use a different vein and they were willing to get someone that was more comfortable with rolling veins. I appreciated that a whole ton. Thank you!
The staff were a delight and the first time experience was great! Definitely coming back for more donations :)
Friendly staff, clean building easiest place to donate in town! Will go back soon?? highly recommend!
The people at the pikes peak location are so friendly and helpful. The wait times are much lower than the other plasma center in Colorado Springs.
This is not a review for the staff at this location, all of whom I find to be so professional and sweet. From Cheryl the center manager, to Rachel, to Aiden, to Jasmine, Cheyenne, you are all amazing. This is in regard to the new corporate policy of taking patient height and using a BMI to determine how much plasma we are donating. In theory this sounds great, like it's going to be tailored to the patient but for anyone that doesn't have a great BMI, which in and of itself is archaic and a poor system to ba
Always friendly and really quick! The staff are always friendly and willing to chat and make you feel relaxed. Even when slammed, they always at least take a few seconds to say hi. Great place to donate.
I love this location and all the workers! Amy is amazing and always super kind and helpful!
Great people who care about what they do. I've had a couple of bruises, but have been here probably 15 times by now. Great movie selection. Update: Probably won't ever go back. I was sent a postcard saying they would give a $40 bonus and then was told they weren't going to honor it when I arrived. Very, very, nearly false advertising except they do have a disclaimer.
basically the people here suck if the dont like your appearance. u will get hated i thought this might be a good place to donate man i was wroung the people are uppity snobs. avoid this place like the plague.
Disgusting place. Equipment never seems to be sterile or clean. Bathrooms are always a mess and the lobby is mostly full of homeless people so there is an awful stench. When bringing this up with staff they just shrug. I originally stopped coming here because of all I mentioned and more but to top it off, a buddy of mine says they went here had to go to urgent care for internal bleeding as they managed mess him up by sticking and resticking him after the staff had issues.
From the time I walked into this place there was issues. The person (Gale) who was checking me in asked me to sign in. As I was signing in she asked me if I had my SSN. I replied "no" she proceeded to pull out another form to fill out but then said to give her back the pen ?? because people be "stealing" their pens. She never did hand me the other form. I guess all BLACK people steal pens theses days ??. As I said there was tones of issues with the staff there during the whole time I was there, but my favor
You guys are so nice and polite.. very great place to donate thanks for being there
Ive donated about 20 times here and have always had a good experience even with the few times i couldn't complete my donation or was deferred. Staff is absolutely wonderful and caring.
The staff is always very nice and professional and they rarely keep you waiting. Their process is very streamlined and i have been very happy with how I have been treated here. However, they have been offering less and less the last few months and for someone who can usually only make a few donations a month, it is hardly worth it anymore. First they did away with the fun daily bonuses, then they stopped taking punch cards and honoring veteran bonuses (I am not a veteran, but that sucks), and now they have
The People here are great! They get you in and out as fast as they can!
It's ok, if you don't mind a needle in your arm and donating your plasma, there's some good experiences and some bad...
Alright place to donate. If you are a regular donor you'll either be greeted nicely or looked at sideways by the staff. It really depends on the person most of the staff are very respectful. But there's one our two members of staff that like to gossip and talk about donors. Also if you see the staff nervous before they prick you, just ask if they're comfortable pricking you. Don't risk getting pricked twice or three times even just to donate..
Everyone is so nice. They get you in and out very quickly. They also compensate better then any other place in town.
Staff are rude the times I've been there, they'll find any reason not to do their job. If you donate plasma, there are better locations than this one to save your time and gas. Management and staff need to be changed at this location. I've been told that there wasn't proof of address required on first visit and they said I needed it to donate on first visit. They're also lowering the amount of money they'll pay you for your first time. CSL plasma pays 90 for the first visit no address even required. People,
Today was my first time donating plasma. I picked this facility because of their reviews compared to the others in the Springs. I am so pleased on how they all handled the entire process. They all work great together. I didn't have much wait time for any part of the process. I was only there for a total of 2 hours from start to finish. They were polite and very professional. The environment was cozy, and very clean. I felt comfortable the entire time. I will definitely be donating here again soon!
I've always had a great experience here! I've donated plasma roughly 60 times at this location. The employees have always been very professional and friendly. Everything is extremely clean. It's cool knowing you're helping people, while making money on the side. Also, it's nice that you can make an appointment at any time online or through an app, and since going in recently, you can do an express sign in so when you arrive for your appointment, you can donate quicker. I couldn't recommend a better place to
Talcecris has an amazing staff! I have been going for two years and the people have become good friends! Everyone is nice, welcoming, and professional. There have been times when the business has been understaffed, but these guys do their best and take it in stride! I think everyone is amazing, but special shoutout to Rachel, Olivia, Aiden, Gale, Kassidy, and Dillon. They are epic and I look forward to seeing them! Extra special shoutout to Joy! She always goes above and beyond! Nothing but good things here
Really friendly and on task??Amy ,Noah,Gail and Yaz are the best!
I went this morning with a friend, we were not greeted when we walked in, waited at least 20 minutes to get initial help before we had to ask, sat for over an hour while the workers did other things or just looked at us, got told we need to have official documents of our housing which isn't available to us and when we called then school, we were told to use the email while we were told here that we couldn't use the email. We were the only two in the lobby and still had a wait even in their ?green no wait ti
Expect one to two hour delays even after making an appointment. No bonuses, no rewards or anything like that, to at least make up for all that time. Although I donate willingly knowing what to possibly expect, I've been donating long enough to know Talecris, and this facility?s management can use better skills when it comes to compensation and wait times. Schedules should serve for that purpose.
Ever since they changed the staff it takes forever to do anything. Overall the place reminds me of school. More people talking about their personal lives than actually doing their job. Your bed side manner means nothing if it takes you forever to do anything
Each time I come in I have a good experience. The site is very clean and the staff is great! Always so friendly
I'm leaving this review as my last collaboration with Talecris Plasma Center. I have been a patient since 2018. I have made over two grand in donations over time. the reason that I am leaving Talecris plasma center is because earlier this year, in May, I went in for a blood donation and was told the physical was due, my annual physical, which was fine. I was a little blindsided by the three-hour appointment, but I was willing to fulfill that appointment. My problem is that this as of today this is the 3rd
Excellent center with a competent and caring staff. The new donor registration was relatively easy and straightforward and they make sure to accommodate you throughout the whole process. I would definitely rate this as a better walk in center overall, especially compared to other centers such as CSL Plasma. They have newer machines that don't clog and their parking lot is not littered with moon size craters. That's a big one for me.
This is a clean, well-organized facility with plenty of parking and extended hours. The restroom was tidy, they have a vending machine, and the staff is courteous.
Great way to make some extra money! The staff is always very friendly and helpful! Aiden , Olivia , Trinity , and Cheyanne , always get me in and out quickly, comfortably and as painless as possible!
I've been twice now and I couldn't be happier with my experiences. It's professional and very sanitary, feels like a hospital which certainly puts my mind at ease. The staff are all wonderfully personable and so fun, April did my physical and she was absolutely a hoot. The needle sticks are always painless and done with expertise. I would recommend this place all day long!
Aiden was really helpful normally she's on the floor helping. She was providing excellent service at that both before donating. Her skills to multi task are impressive. Thank you for being kind and thinking of others always!
MaKayla & Falcon we're awesome David was very informative and helpful
Love this place!!!!!! The staff is fun and friendly from the reception on up to the big boss man. The staff in the back make donating fun by joking around and always laughing. But still very professional about there job. I have been donating at Talecris 2 times a week for 6 months now and I have never had a bad experience. I always walk out with a smile on my face. Thank you to all the staff that make donating a positive experience.
After being told I needed to do my annual physical and I wouldn't be allowed to prior to the day it was due I rescheduled an appointment for the day it was due. I then scheduled a babysitter for my daughter and showed up prior to my appointment time only to be told that they wouldn't have time to do my annual the ENTIRE DAY. It was my second donation of the week, so I lost money by having to pay for a babysitter and lost on my second donation total. Was not allowed to donate and told that I can come back ag
The only good plasma facility in Colorado Springs. There's a waiting room with seats, a functioning application for quicker intakes, and friendly, personable staff.
Your new center hours are not working. I made an appointment for 5:45pm last night and when I got there nearly 20 people were waiting in the lobby. The nice lady behind the counter told me it would be at least a 45min wait to get screened for my donation because so many people made appointments for the last 15min slot you are open. Either you should limit the number of people who can make appointments for any given time slot (which logically should have already been in place for a reservation system, otherw
I am so glad ro be able to give consistent 5 stars!! I absolutely am impressed with the current staff. I think this it's one of the more professional teams I've seen them put together. The attentiveness I witnessed was amazing, no matter who the patient is. You guys have some winners on your team. So we'll done to the manager Mike (who is sooo pleasant to engage) and the always Smiling staff. First class all the way!!!
I worked with Chris and Morgan. Thanks to them, I have had a wonderful experience on my first donation and every time since then. I just thought I would update my review since it has been a year. I feel as comfortable while donating as if I was at home. Always an easy and relaxed experience.
I've been donating regularly for several months, and I probably would've stopped after the first couple of visits if not for the staff. They seem to enjoy their jobs because they're always friendly and kind. They have a smooth process too, it's usually quick to get in and out even if they're busy.
I've been donating here regularly for 3+ years and have donated 300+ times. I mention this because aside from helping create life saving medications I would never be able invest so much time doing this if the staff here weren't so great! They are a big part of the reason we do this regularly. Over the years I've seen many faces and the constant has been a welcoming & friendly environment! This post is to recognize the staff and get more people coming in to save some lives!
Great staff! Very inviting when we first walked in. I had complications during the donation process due to me feeling nauseous but the staff treated me well and made sure I was ok during the whole process. I ended up having bad reaction towards the end which made me sick, the staff dropped everything rushed to my care. Overall great experience. Would recommend them to anyone.
Staff has been great since I started donating. They all have been very knowledgeable and show care for the donors. Their hours make donating convenient around my demanding work and family schedules. Regular extra incentives help donors come back regularly.
This is the best place to donate, primarily for the employees! They are very nice and helpful but I feel that they are underpaid. I've been donating for over 10 years, so you do get to know the employees like family. Matt, Joseph, Vanessa, Brenna, Gus, Dan and Leah are some of my favorite employees! I have seen a lot of good people leave for better paying jobs, most of which said they would have stayed if the pay was better. Maybe management can consider raises, especially since donor fees were cut back. Th
Really great staff and usually if you pay attention to the schedule the wait's not too long. I wish there was more grace with the requirements on pulse, when you have to bike half an hour to get there it sucks to get deferred for a whole day when your pulse is elevated after exercise.
I've been 3 times and have had good experiences each time, it's pretty quick too just wish they paid more
I love this place they now us by name and are always friendley and very kind never had to wait long time and Aiden and Maria make a good team
I just gave plasma for the second time and both times I had a great experience with very helpful staff with a very small wait time. I almost gave up on mine today due to a full bladder and the plasma technician stayed by my side to help me finish faster. I really appreciate how much they care about the clients and I will definitely keep coming back. They are all doing a very thorough job:)
I have been known to be understanding when the center is short staffed, as a regular for several years I understand the way things roll on busy days, and have been in situations in my own life where I'm overwhelmed. That being said- Today I just waited 40 minutes longer than usual, to be told there is going to be another 40 minute wait. Usually; if you are going to slam us with a wait, YOU TELL US. If you are going to take so much of our time without compensating, or giving the donors so much as an ETA whe
I have had the best experience with this facility. The employees are so friendly and fast. I have not had a bad experience, yet. They greet you with a smile and once you're in the door, everyone is smiling and show that they are grateful for your donation. I donate because there are so many people with health issues, who need plasma and I'm just blessed to be able to give. My mom received the convalescent plasma a month ago, but unfortunately it was too late for her and she passed away from the side affec
The staff at Talecris is always friendly, accomodating, and they are quick too. I usually am in and out unless than an hour. Better than any other center I've tried in town and I've exhausted the list. They may bit always pay the most but they are far worth the little if any discrepancy in compensation because they make up for it with experience and friendliness.
I really enjoy donating with Talecris. The staff is awesome and friendly. Also. Not boring while donating. We're all joking and making good conversation.
Incredible people (like John & Rachel)? so personable and make the experience enjoyable as a regular. Decent compensation. Extra prices and fun and make coming regularly worth it. Facilities are fine. You ca get a free Powerade every visit. Only complaint is that they don't give an extra $5/visit for military dependents, but they do give it for active duty.
The staff is always so friendly and they keep the center very clean!! I like the games and bonuses the center adds on each month. ? They are currently training new staff, so does it takes a little longer to get in and out...but I feel like they will pick up the pace again soon!
Nice and friendly staff members, Chaz, Brenda, brienne, and Jamie are always very nice and willing to have a real conversation with you. The only issue I have is they're a little slow getting you in sometimes. I've never had an issue that the staff couldn't handle right away. Over all I'm happy coming here
Great, clean place with a very friendly and helpful staff. I have donated twice now and have really enjoyed my experiences. The staff is very friendly, I have had Ashley start the procedure both times and she is knowledgeable and very kind and fun to talk with. I had an issue today with my arm not wanting to cooperate and Gus saw that I was having an issue straight away, Joseph stepped into help and solved my problem very quickly their teamwork was appreciated. They offer you powerade if you need somethin
I made an appointment on a Saturday for 1:15 and got out about 3 o'clock after I donated I was going to take my sister to skyzone since I would have gotten 65 dollars but the money I should've received never showed up in my BofA card so I called and no one answered today is Monday I check to see if I have received my money for donating...nothing so I call them again no answer I've called about 4 times no answer! It's ridiculous, very irritating now I'll have to go in and talk to them.
After taking a physical a week ago I was told to come in so they could tell me the results and I could donate. I drove there two different times today and have already waited five hours since being told to come in showed up once and was told to return at noon to find nothing has been done. Just now I have been told the doctor only comes in every two weeks to sign paperwork and I quote ?She'll get to it when she gets to it.? I won't be donating here since there's has been such poor sense customer service and
I've been donating at Talecris Plasma Resources for a few years now. In my personal experience from donating at other facilities this one is by far the best. From great customer service and management to fantastic deals and cool prizes, this company knows how to handle business. I have loved watching this facility get better and improve over the years. Thank you to all the staff who work so hard and and work all these long hours day in and day out. We appreciate you.
The place is nice, and friendly. But it can take at least 30 minutes just to get started with the basic q&a!!! It doesn't matter that you get here before your appointment, it feels like the staff in the back forces the people in the front to go at an extremely slow rate. I just witnessed staff from the back force the staff in the front to "slow down" even though there are more people waiting up front then in the back. I've been waiting for almost 40 minutes and have yet to do anything but wait and I was her
The staff here is very friendly, they work as quickly as they can while still being cautious of your needs/wants. Some staff members that really stick out are Chaz, Naomi, Jelly, Vanessa, Jamie, Rayna, Katie, Breanne, and Denise. These staff members are always extra friendly and they are all amazing at their jobs!
My experience as a donor has been awesome. The staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. Rachel has been my phlebs are they are both so awesome. Joy is the best DCT I've ever seen. This will the ONLY PLACE I will donate. PERIOD!
Very clean, friendly staff. Lots of trainees, so staff has a high turnover rate. Understandable for the job requirements, however, in this field not appropriate, I would work on staff retention. I have issues with my veins rolling some, so some unpleasant experiences personally. But overall, probably one of the better Plasma centers in Colorado Springs.
Very professional and very nice. The woman who gave me physical was awesome very informative and very personable. Would definitely give this place a good review not for only helping others with the work to be able to provide lifesaving medicine for people who are in desperate need of donors. Thank you for all your help with humanity. Brandy Bentley
Awesome place. Never takes long to get called, always very helpful and knowledgeable when i have any questions. The staff checks on me throughout the process to make sure im ok. Highly recommend.
I've been coming here for a few months now. The experience I have had, has been great. Set up an appointment and come into a great Staff. The environment is very clean. Which is a huge plus in my book. I also like, that I am able to keep up with my own health. I have been more cautious on what I eat and making sure I stay hydrated and drink plenty of water. The employees have always had a great attitude when i've gone in. The staff has a close bond to one another and give the place a pleasant environment.
The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Can set up appointments online makes it very easy to get in and out with your donation. Great pay incentives and extra raffles and bonuses! BRENNA IS THE BEST PHLEB in the center! Keep up the good work!
Always a warm and welcoming experience. Generally pretty quick to get back and start your donation.
Great place to donate. Friendly, helpful and well trained staff. Did not have to wait long. Had a minor technical issue during the physical and was compensated extra money for the extra time and was given a card for extra money next time. The first time I went I had a issue with the donation and had to be stopped. There were clots or something. They made sure I was OK before leaving. They gave me another powerade plus the full compensation plus a little extra even though I wasn't able to donate. I h
I love everybody a grifle's especially joy. She was always so friendly. I look forward to every time I donate getting to see all the friendly faces. Thanks again for being there and letting us donate in your establishment
The staff here, for the most part, are really kind and friendly. However it seems that often when I go to donate im told they are running an hour or more beind. Often from being understaffed. Which I understand. However I do not have the time to wait an hour or so before I even get taken back. Thats not including how long you sit waiting to get stuck. Therefore I wouldnt reccomend going to this location, unless you are ok with taking 3ish hours out of your day for this.
The staff is wonderful and very helpful. They overall structure of the company seems to be lacking as evidenced by the fact of their high turnover rate. Also, they are continually restructuring their payment methods. For nine months out of the year I can only make it in one day a week and their newest attempt for pay structure is no longer worth it for me. I will probably be looking elsewhere very soon.
I donate here twice a week and have for the last several years. They have amazing compensation and fun giveaways every month. Matt, Chris, Tammie, Andrea are phenomenal, just to name a few staff who shine above the rest.
My first donation went off without a hitch, but my second donation didn't go so well. I started having a strong reaction to the process but Brook was quick to respond and help me. She gave me a drink and ice packs and made sure I was well again before I left. Even though the donation process itself was unpleasant this time around I felt cared for by the staff as a whole. This is a great place to donate to!
I have been going to Talecris now for about 9 months and have ALWAYS been treated with kindness and respect. From Denise, Reyna, Amy, Jamie, Jelly, and the young black girl with the glasses( I'm so sorry, you are always so nice and know my name) at the front end to the numerous techs in the back. Chas, Austin, Vanessa, Leah, Katie, Kira, Barb, Charles, Sheila and all of the so many others. I actually have a good time donating, the techs have always got funny dialogue going on, the music has been a great ad
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
