Neat and nice never had a problem with any staff. The only problem is they don't answer the phone all the time...which I've been calling to get info today before I show up. Last time I went up there thinking I'm good to donate and found out I had to get some blood drawn and was told I wasn't able to donate that day. Had to come back the next day...I had spent my last for a Uber to get there and didn't have a way back home. So, now every blue moon I call just to be on the safe side.
I love coming to donate but there are a few people that make it worth going. Cory is one of my favorites. In all honesty if I could have him stick me every time I would! If I knew his schedule trust me I would only go when he is working. I hate needles but he makes it so painless and fun to come. He makes you feel welcome and talks to you and just treats you so well. Somebody needs to give him his props and a raise! He's the only reason I'm giving this place a 5 star! There's only 2 other people I'm okay wi
I cannot speak highly enough of the exceptional service provided by the staff. I am always greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff always demonstrates a high level of professionalism. What stands out the most was the team?s genuine care for donors. They were attentive to individual needs, making sure everyone felt appreciated. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to answer questions creates a supportive environment that made the donation experience truly positive. The facility wa
I been going this plasma center for a while now have a clean facility. They have 2 very professional friendly and nice screening booth ladies I always request is Ms Tab and Ms Sharon. They have a professional friendly front desk staff named Ken. Also have friendly stickers like Julie Takera and Cory.
I've been going to this location for a few years now and the staff is amazing, their so gentle, respectful. I've also won a few household items when they have their raffles. I highly recommend them.
Kyra page is a blessing to your company makes my visits very pleasant!!!
Cory is excellent at everything that he does. He is incredible. I recommend him sticking anyone that comes to the facility.
Grifols' is awesome. The great experience started with a friendly introduction from Ken. Everyone was professional and nice in between. And it ended with the expertise of Tackera who did the impossible by drawing my plasma on her first attempt. My veins roll and it is almost impossible to to draw blood nor plasma. The nurses at my doctor's office can't even do it. Takera made it quick and painless. The process was so fast. The pay for donations are the highest in the area. Excellent. 5 out of 5 Stars. I wil
This place is amazing the the staff is very knowledgeable in was forthcoming with information that I did not even know having to give me a tip to lower my blood pressure over the course of a three-week. Excellent service would recommend to friends and family as well...
A very enjoyable atmosphere, and a vibe like no other. Great staff, a family like relationship.
I love Corey, he is awesome. His energy is infectious he is always friendly and very respectful and patient. He is very knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable. He is one of the reasons I continue to come to this location. You need a 100 more just like him. The rest of the staff is great as well; but he sticks out. Keep up the good work!!
Called and made an appointment for 3 o'clock. Walked up at 2:59 and the door was locked. An employee then walked up and basically shoed me away. Pretty sure it was the same one that took my appointment over the phone
Staff is amazing I've never had a problem with any of them. Everyone has always been polite and nice to me. The money keeps dropping though and they got rid of the military bonus which was a huge market being that close to Fort Moore.
the staff here is great at balancing donor experience and professionalism. I enjoy the interacting I have with the staff and it is much more than just a business exchange each visit. Corey, a phlebotimist there, in particular makes my visits great. he is just as quick to get his job done, while maintaining high quality, as he is to brighten the day of the donors he interacts with. thank you Corey, and Grifols, for making my experience donating so positive!
I want to bring to your attention the fact that there is a lack of awareness about Indigenous Culture and Heritage among many individuals. It is crucial to understand that Native American or Indigenous People's attire should not be treated as a costume. For example, wearing a War Bonnet/ Head Dress for Halloween should not be taken lightly. It is essential to recognize that Indigenous People are still present and are observant of these actions. I urge everyone to reconsider their approach and the potential
The staff here is very friendly and professional. They make sure you understand everything you need before donating with plenty of time to ask questions. The donation process itself is made easy for you and relaxed. I'm definitely going to be donating again with the company. I have no complaints:)
I love the service here, true no one is perfect but they always keep a smile on people's face
I've been coming here on and off for 9 years. They truly are striving to make the experience more faster and seamless for donors which all helps to achieve the Grifols mission. From the old clipboard sign-in screening process to now being a quick mobile sign-in process. I've seen my longest time at the plasma center go from 5 hours to as short as 1:30 and it's been consistently that way since the new system was established. The staff I see here are committed to making things go smoothly with donors and alwa
Excellent staff, great environment and very professional. I wanted to give a special thanks to Corey for always working hard at what he does. He goes above and beyond to ensure the wellbeing of everyone donating. He does a great job supporting his other colleagues and encouraging them to do the same. All in all trifold is a better place when Corey is at work.
Been coming here for 6 or 7 months now. Each time it takes longer and longer. I sat in the chair for 37 minutes and watched the nurses joke and cut up till I spoke up and got them to come on. Then Tab stuck me right after she did a gentleman across from me. His machine kept throwing a "no flow" warning and he had to be restick twice. When she stuck me she jerked and snatched the needle out my arm. Once she got it in, it was in wayyyy to far so she had to pull it out more then half way. She will NEVER stick
Always a great experience here . Phlebotomist Corey is a top fav ! Always nice and wonderful at sticks . Never a complaint when I'm seen by him . He makes the process so much easier. Keep up the great job Corey !
This place can have rude service(not all though). They act like they own your body. Damaged my clothes yesterday, and when I asked are they responsible for all the blood that got on my only hoodie because the phlebotomist didn't wrap my arm correctly. She gave me a solution that would cost me money. If you do your job correctly, then that wouldn't be necessary. I came in with a clean hoodie and left with a blood stained one......UPDATE 2022:I WOULD NOT CHANCE MY HEALTH OR BODY AT THIS PLASMA CENTER. THIS PL
They are fast clean and very friendly. Ms. Tab & Corey are very professional and friendly. They are experienced at their jobs, they make you feel as if you're their family.
Most of the workers are friendly but that Short Mean Manager girl Tamika or whatever is unfriendly, beligerant, and unprofessional. She needs to be replaced ASAP. Just not a good person. Also when I first signed up was told I would get New Donor bonuses, but they failed to mention it was based on monthly periods so when I donated at the end of the month I missed out on all the bonuses, and the guy there said he couldnt do anything about it, didnt even try.
I've been here multiple times, it's the only plans place I go to. Everyone is super sweet, understanding, and patient. Nice, clean environment. I recommend to everyone looking for a donation center!
Staff is amazing and professional highly recommended. Wait times have improved with their new system. Phlebs are one of the best so far!
Corey is by far the most favorite tech I enjoy seeing and getting me situated on the table. I feel no pain or sting when the buttfly is poked. It makes the process so much easier when I walk in thru the back doors and I see him working. Friendly environment with a amazing staff to get your thru your plasma donation session.
Pays well and treat you nice
The people at GRIFOLS are dedicated to making sure your experience is great! I never been to a place so welcoming. This place mastered southern hospitality!
It's a positive experience. This is my current way to make money, but I get to help someone else potentially get a better quality of life while I'm doing it.
I've been coming to talecris on and off for 8yrs I got deferred for 56 days because of the punk name Corey and that lil light skin stuck up Kyra because they decided to wanna keep sticking the arm that's a no go when I told them to clearly put it in my right arm. They blame me as if I didn't drink any water. Clearly they just don't know how to stick!!! Corey told me to shut up. This is supposed to be a professional place where the donors supposed to trust the phlebotomists with their arm. Corey and Kyra nee
The center is great! A lot of good people work here that want to ensure your donation is successful. Also, the military bonus is a good kicker to get some extra bucks. On holidays as well the center likes to ensure even the donors get extra bucks and some warm good. The center cares about its donors!
I love this place,Never had a problem at all. if your protein is low, they don't let you donate until the next day. They are very concerned about other health.
I have been going to this plasma place for 5 years; it has got much better than it was over 2 years ago. There has been an increase in staff, wait times are shorter and better questionnaire processing. I have been visiting Talecris centers for over 7 years and every location is different and people do need to have more patience. I just like to save my money up to make huge "it's about me" purchases, I don't NEED to come here but go when I have time.
Very friendly, love the staff, they are very personable and very friendly. There's one up front named Gladys and she is excellent!!
By far the best center I've been to in this whole Columbus area never had any issues. The staff is perfect. They treat everybody with respect specifically the nicest people there are gladdys, jkyra, but overall the whole staff is perfect
Staff here are welcoming and nice. Takes a while but you should know this since the place is always full. Good way to make a few extra bucks. I go every week and will continue to do so. Did not give a fifth star not because of the staff but of some of the people that go. Some speak to loud like they in a park. Staff needs to control that in a better manner.
It's a nice place. But watch yourself. I was there last night & bubbles got into my line. One girl was talking about it'll be fine. I'm glad another young lady was there to step in. So I fully recommend you watch your line.
Wonderful staff and never had a bad experience! It's the quickest donation process I've been through!
I enjoy coming here and helping people. I have never had a problem when I come here. I know they switched to some new systems now. I went today but they were down. But I will be going asap. Staff is always helpful and nice.
I am currently sitting after giving my first donation. This place is phenomenal!! Everyone is so welcoming and pleasant. The whole process is flawless. I am definitely looking forward to my next time. Thank you everyone for being so great!
Two very kind ladies that spoke Spanish took very good care of me. Will return thanks to their expertise and knowledge.
I have been to give blood for while now.I enjoy giving cause I'm saving lives.I don't know when I or one of my friend an family member will need blood one day.And they are nice people I haven't had no problems so far.
Updated review: Went from 4 stars to 1 star due to the absolutely insane wait times now. I used to be in and out within 2 hours, now it's taking longer than 3 hours. Parking lot is jam packed, the staff working at their own (slow) pace.... I just don't have the time anymore.
As for all clinical practices time is always random for service. This location had friendly staff and for the most part nice vibe. For being a first time donor I wasn't uncomfortable at all because the staff made sure to communicate with you. Questions were answered positively with no attitudes. I felt as if they knew me as a regular and not just ?New Donor?. Donating is already emotional knowing who can be helped in this process but I know I made the right choice. Thanks Mrs Linda for getting me right for
This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Place is under staffed and gave me some bogus instructions. I have been going to telecris/grifols for over 10 yrs and I recently moved to the area from Louisville,KY. As I started to set up donation at Columbus Ga telecris location,I was asked to provide them with current address and I did so,however they would not let me continue donations because my change of address did not have an address. Because of this I will never donate at another telecris/grifols plasma reso
The Victory Drive GRIFOLS Talecris Center is the best hands down. The staff Kyra, Yolanda , Gladys, Coop, Sean, Raven, Nikki , Jackie and Tk just to name a few are friendly and hard working, which makes my visit & donation time go by faster and makes me want to return because the care they put into their work . I would recommend this center if your are deciding on become a donor they will take care of you. This team gets 5 ??s from me!!
This place is great! By far the best in Columbus. Gladys, Corey, Raven and everyone else are really professional and friendly. I highly recommend going here. :)
Great place to donate . Love how fast I am in and out . Staff is friendly and knows me by name
I enjoy coming here to donate. The staff is so polite, respectful and they actually listen to the individual that is donating. They are very sanitary and professional. Thank you all for making my donations possible.
The do not stick people in order as they come in the door so why is it a must to make apt before coming I think production should be bonuses for the employees happy employees they do there job differently being short staffed my orange light stays on and for donors that come in twice a week eight times a month should get bonuses as well Have a good day!!!!!!!
They have awesome workers that make you laugh. Extremely respectful. Very clean and fast to get you in and out even when slammed with people.
Everybody here is fantastic, with the exception of the branch manager. One day I was here for 3 hours. Come to find out they couldn't find my file. I couldn't give plasma that day, so I got nothing for three hours of my time. The branch manager didn't offer me anything at all, I didn't even get an apology from him. Just because I have to give plasma, to suppliment my income, doesn't mean my time isn't valuable. I still come here, when he sees me, he doesn't even waste his oxygen on little ole me. Jeremy is
Sat for almost two hours as a new donor and I got there 10 minutes after they opened. I was the first new donor in line. After finally being called back I was told that I still needed more paperwork because my last name changed. I had my social, license, and mail with new name on it by the way. Will definitely not go back.
Fast place love the express check in the team here are friendly Briana, Gladis, Crystal, Nikki have all been amazing and helpful.
The worst experience ever staff member lies on me trying to get me deferred an Management or the assistant manager is not talking in a professional manner to me an he accused me of something his staff member lied on me. I fell they need to audit this place and do routine checks in this place I felt like this was my most horrible experience.
Great customer service. The techs are great painless. Great people to deal with.
Fast, friendly , and clean!
Never go in the morning service is slow. It's like everyone is just waking up and not had breakfast yet.
(Edited to two stars) The only reason I gave them three stars instead of one is because of Rachel and Erin. The check in desk at the front has nice friendly people, but Lord have mercy when you get to the back! No smiles, very insincere, they all look and act like they are being held against their will. One woman who was being trained had some of the worst body odor I have ever smelt. There was one woman who was in the waiting room talking on her phone loudly and cursing, nobody told her to shut up. The mo
This is the best plasma center in the world
Been trying to call and getting hung up on because I sopposedly won an extra $50 that was never paid out to me. I don't need to be stabbed with needles and sit around waiting for hours to have my calls intentionally hung up on so they don't have to resolve the issue in question. I been going here for years and I can say for a fact I won't be back anymore.
I DO NOT recommend this donation center. First and foremost the amount of time you have to wait is atrocious as others have mentioned. The staff is unfriendly and very cold towards you. It's even worse when you actually get to the back in the lab. The people who work back there ask close ended questions, do not remotely try to make you feel comfortable or communicate with you effectively. Secondly, they do not train their phlebotomists properly and are known to improperly stick patients or to stick too many
I try to donate plasma but they said that I have a body odor and I know that is a lie, I took a shower before I went to Talecris, They just wanting to pick on me that's all ?? some people have medical issues that cause body odor and they want to discriminate against me ?? If they work at the hospital, what they going to do, not treat them because of body odor? They will have to treat them regardless of body odor, just saying, I'll try again tomorrow but if they say that I have body odor, I'll never be back
I don't know what happened but it takes up to 6 hours of waiting time before you even get screened. There are only 2 or 3 people that are in the back working the donors and at the same time you got 40 or 50 people waiting and only 2 people screening. This is stupid why so short on staffing the place, makes no sense at all. I suggest you get more people screening and drawing because right know the place sucks you have to kill the whole day just sitting and waiting
By far the worst place to donate... waited for like 3 hours just to get to the back, and they had to restick me like 3 times because they couldn't get it in a vein right. It always smells so bad in there too. I would only come here again if I absolutely needed money. I wouldn't recommend doing it.
Great place quick easy and friendly. Walk you through everything make sure you're comfortable through the whole process
Great staff friendly service for a quick buck if you need it and you saving a life in retire basically a win win in my book
A mess. I waited 30 minutes to get stuck after a staff member took 3 people down. Like I was not there
Great staffing and bosses. Quick service and personal attention givin
People are great here and real helpful whenever I have questions.
Nice and friendly staff, always helpful love the environment
Great staff! Everyone is so nice and gentle. Great way to make some extra cash while helping people in need.
Rayven makes the process so much easier , his personality is amazing and he is excellent at his job
A SOFTWARE SWITCH THAT TAKES MONEY FROM PLASMA DONORS, ESPECIALLY DURING A DONOR SWEEPSTAKES PROMOTION IS OUT OF ORDER...
Gladys and Nikki are very kind and awesome to see when I go there. Had great experience for sure!
Very clean and professional. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good vibes. Pretty quick and easy process.
Prepare for a wait. It took 6 hours to get through my first donation and I got there at 5am hoping it wouldn't be very long. 2- 3 hour wait is about average.
I love going to the center. Talking with the staff. Speaking with the other donors. All round great place.
Ravin and Shawn was amazing. They both made me feel comfortable .
Best place to go they love me there lol
It is a great place to donate and give back.Stuff is great especially miss gladys
In here today....was given a VIP card about 2 weeks ago ...gave it to the young lady at the door...now its suppose to move me to the front of the line...been sitting for 30 min ....really!!!! Disappointed. Cause when back up to see what was going on my VIP card was in the trash
They are very nice and sweet I love y'all ??
I wish I could give zero cause this is the most unorganized and ghetto place I have ever been to first off I was a transfer it took the two hours to correct the mistake they made I got there at 930 didn't leave till 2 then after all that I didn't even get my money they said they haven't seen me I had to go back up there to prove them wrong the staff was more concerned about what there eating for dinner and their plans for after work the only people that actually did their job the right way was this lady and
Great place to donate the staffs very friendly and its a great atmosphere I love everytime I visit going on 9 months now keep up the great work you guys n guls
Big thanks to Corey you do an amazing job
The staff here is very informative and exceptionally nice. Highly recommend.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
