I had an amazing first time experience here yesterday, I came with my mom and my sister and I was the only one who was able to donate. I was so scared, but everyone was so reassuring and kind. They made it through all of the exams and physical, I needed to do, And when I was almost done donating my plasma, I almost passed out a couple of times and the staff was so quick to help me. I was able to finish, I was able to get the help I needed while helping someone else in the process. I'm very glad I chose this
Overall everything is great! Ms. Ilia always recognizes me with some cheerful chitchat about my travels even after 6 months or more! Sure wish the promotion for $100 for the first 2 donations after a 6 month absence was in effect in May when I returned, instead of only the first donation!
Horrible experience. They blew my veins out on my second visit, had bruising for over a week after. Had referred a friend and was told I would receive 100$ bonus after her second donation, and was refused my referral bonus when she completed. They conveniently fail to mention that you have to return with the person you refer on their second trip to donate and donate with them for your THIRD time. Waste of time, they WILL NOT give you the referral bonus as guaranteed.
Does not live up to their word nor policies. My fianc? has been donating to this center pretty often, making him one of Grifols? more loyal, frequent donators. Lately though, this establishment has been slacking tremendously. So called phlebotomists who continuously miss his veins no matter what is one thing, but now? They've been somehow forgetting to pay him after each of his donation visits and to make it worse, they're extremely hard to even get in touch with, so his last time he pretty much just donate
I was not paid according to their own policies and left on hold for 2 hours plus and stuck 5 times. HUGE waste of time and quite painful. I'll not return.
I donate plasma twice a week. You get in and out and the staff is not only welcoming but after awhile it's kinda like chopping it up with your cousins. 10/10 would recommend.
I love this place the staff make you feel so welcome and comfortable! Thomas is awesome. Never afraid to accept a challenge! Thanks guys! -Shanna
Rashonda was great she did my intake very nice staff and clean place highly recommend
Mrs. Stephanie is the best I've ever meet. She had the up most respect and make my experience so homie. She is one of the reason I come donate. Destiny also is a great great person. Share a love for music and she brings this place to life. Love you all for what u do
The staff and management are welcoming and supportive, making it a wonderful place to donate.
Another Arm Done Got Stuck Let's go! Thomas walks optimistically down the row Don't forget to say hello to Joe There's usually music to keep you at ease Machine gets ready to go then SPV Are you ready? Hey Are you ready for this? Are you hanging on the edge of your seat? Out of the plastic the needle?s rip To the sound of the beat, yeah Another Arm Done Got Stuck Another Arm Done Got Stuck And another one stuck, and another one stuck Another Arm Done Got Stuck (yeah) Hey, I'm gonna get you too Another Arm
Very nice staff members . Very clean facility, organized and very quick and easy intake process for new donors and best part yet they pay you every time you donate and the company offers many different fun and exciting initiatives grifols never gets old or boring I recommend this place to anyone who just needs extra spending money in there lives or those who just have a big heart and want to help save lives by donating
The place and it's people are fine. I have one comment. They just changed their policy to where instead of everyone contribute the same amount of plasma, they now base it on weight/height with the original amount being the bare minimal you can donate. I feel like those that donate more should get more. Say you have everyone working on an assembly line for the same flat rate. And then you noticed there are three people that are stockier and can get more work done. If you are going to demand more from them, t
All of the staff are extremely friendly and work on everything in a timely manner. Stephanie and destiny are always extremely welcoming. I love coming just to see the staff sometimes!
Miss Destiny has given top notch service as a plasma technician for over a year! She helps foster a positive environment while tutoring others to maintain it while she's not there. The staff have been very friendly overall! Thank you
Staff is exceptionally friendly and the phlebotomists are awesome!!! Facility is very clean and the compensation is fair and adequate. Have been donating here for over a year and will continue to do so.
I love donating here. All the people here are awesome but my favorite person is Stephanie! She keeps me laughing every time I come! I love all the nurses too!!!!! I will keep coming and bringing people to!
I go there all the time. But this week they blew my vein and I came back on Sunday at 1:15ish and there was a bruise on my arm because of them and measured just inside thier dimensions but what I saw and what she saw with two different things but apparently I as in the construction man don't know how to use a ruler so now I am banned until I come back see their doctor I missed out on a bonus and I don't see this as fair at all because I'm pretty sure I know how to use a tape and I was offered nothing for t
10/10 the staff was excellent and extremely nice. They were able to answer all of my questions calmly and efficiently. I loved my experience here and I will definitely be back !
All of the associates are very pleasant and respectful. The atmosphere is great and they get you in and out very quickly. Shout out to Stephanie,Destiny, and Brittany!!!
The workers are very kind and helpful and very professional. Love the staff and the company is doing great things.
My first experience donating; and it's been great! Staff is great, super friendly and hospitable. Everything is designed for donors support and comfort!
I've donated twice here now after having a not so great experience at CSL. I am so glad that I didn't give up on donating and tried this place. The wait times (at least in the morning) aren't bad at all. Maggie got me set up as a new donor and Jodi stuck me for both of my donations. They were both so kind and professional, and put me at ease when I was nervous about how things were going to go after my previous experience. My donations went so smoothly which was a relief! I would definitely recommend Grifol
The employees are very professional. The environment is upbeat and cheerful. Destiny, Stephanie, and Brittany always put a smile on my face.
This is a really great place to donate plasma. The nurses and staff are very personable and professional. Unfortunately, I can no longer participate due to new health complications. If you're looking to make a difference, look no further. Thomas and the team were great!
They are great!! It's so nice and clean. Everyone is very friendly. It's usually pretty quick, too.
Of all of the places I have ever been to in my entire life, this has got to be the worst staff I have ever encountered! They are not put together at all, they are rude, they care more about the conversations they have with other staff members and friends then making their donors feel comfortable. I have been coming here off and on for 2 years and the first year I came, the staff was phenomenal! You couldn't ask for a better place to donate at. This past year though, so many changes have been made to the sys
The staff here are an amazing crew. Ila is always reassuring presence and a true professional and it's always a joy to see her when I check in! Stephanie is amazing too!
I have donated at one other plasma center here in Huntsville, by far the staff's welcoming nature and team work for new donors is star deserving.
I absolutely love this place. They are so kind and work as fast as possible to get the donors in and out. If you are thinking about donating plasma, this is the place to go.
I had a good experience for my first time in here. everyone was very helpful and answered all my questions and made me feel very comfortable
Sending many bells and whistles to Nurse Brandi/y for this location. She took the time to explain what I needed to know and give me the answers I needed (the truth). Even if the truth is not favorable, it can be empowering . Huge kudos for this Nurse choosing not to waste my time, as I was calling for an answer every single day. Thank you, Lady and Happy Holidays to you all.
Stephanie is one of my favorite employees here, along with the rest of the staff! One of the many things I look forward doing twice a week??
Very pleased with the workers very nice an helpful with the experience
No issues as a new donor. Make sure to rest and be rested. 2-4 hrs is the normal time for the first day to be processed. Worth the wait.
Amazing staff and very clean facility
My experience was bad. I only came to waste time and money since they didn't want to serve me just because I was Hispanic and spoke little English. I really felt some racism. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
I think it crazy as hell this place is loaded with junkie and drug addicts. This people that taking these plasma. Don't care at all about the well being of the people this plasma goes too. These people are Not screened and tested B4 any of this done.
Staff was very friendly. Answered all questions had. And was very quick and precise. Definitely recommend 10/10
Staff is very friendly and the entire procedure was well explained and timely. I experienced no wait time at all!
Very unprofessional and ghetto. They joke and yell across the building. One lady wave her hand in my face because I was looking down at my phone instead of speaking up. They curse without being aware of there surroundings. This is suppose to be a professional environment and isn't. They don't wear name tags so I don't know her name to put it on here. The pay is okay but the customer service isn't worth it. They are very slow as well even when it is not busy.
Update: I have had great experiences as a new donor with this facility. And as a new donor, I have arrived at different times on my donation days. I am happy to pass on that my experience has been great everytime! The Staff are professional and always happy when you arrive. Nurse Sheila is genuine and takes care of your concerns immediately. Why go anywhere else when this center is so awesome. Thanks for taking great care of your donors!
I was a first time donor and the process was relatively quick. It took about an hour for intake questions, blood test, and physical. Then about an hour for the actual plasmapheresis procedure. All of the staff was very kind and reassuring from beginning to end. They answered every question I had and were very professional. I will continue to donate to them in the future!
Ms.Stephanie and Mr.Giles take good care of me every time I come in. The staff is so polite and friendly !
I have donated at Florence through a different company and it's like night and day. I am so glad I decided to come here. Every single staff member I encountered today was VERY pleasant, helpful, and smiling!!! You could tell that these employees liked their job and definitely wanted each donor to have a great experience! I made sure to stop by the manager office on my way out to tell her how much I enjoyed and truly appreciated her staff!!! I truly hope that she knows what a great TEAM of employees she has!!
Great energy, great staff, great place! I always have a good time here, everyone who works here is kind, patient, and knowledgeable!
Awesome place to donate plasma, they pay promptly. Destiny is wonderful, always has an amazing attitude and makes the experience very easy. ??
11/08/23- My first time giving plasma. I had a great experience, the staff was overly friendly: Shelia, Darby, Arthur, Jasmine. The young lady from Georgia, I forgot her name that put the needle in my arm to start the process was so sweet and professional. I'll go back and I got paid for actually helping someone else.
They have made a lot of changes at this place, which makes it a much more comfortable and enjoyable experience.. And the new additions to the staff seem to be a lot more professional.. To me they took the time out to do some spring cleaning and weed out a few things and you can tell the difference.. In all it's a much more professional and fun experience rapped up in one.. "GOOD JOB!" You guys keep up the good work..
I have come to enjoy coming to the plasma center. All the employees are fantastic and well trained. I especially like Margarita. She is very personable with great professionalism. Bonita,Shelly,Tasha, and Marti are also great staff who are fun to listen to and treat me well. I have had no issues with any of the staff.
As far as the employees of this center, they are very nice & enjoyable to interact with. However, their processes need to be addressed. My past three donations I have waited in a bed for a minimum of 45 minutes before being hooked up to a machine to begin my donation. Today, I have been waiting for a bed for over an hour. Now, I am curious how long I will have to wait to be connected. I just watched another client get hooked up that has been in a bed as long as I have been waiting.
This place is great and is very fast and professional first time is a little long but went fast after that would definitely recommend them to anyone.
The Taecris Plasma Resources, Inc. in Huntsville, AL is a very nice and clean environment. All of the employees are very nice. I enjoy coming there to donate. I love to be able to help others when I am able to, and getting a little help with my finances in return don't hurt. Congratulations Isaiah on your scholarship!!! You deserve it!!!
Awesome place! I have been going there for years... The staff is great Stephanie, Destiny and Thomas in the back will take great care of you!
Wasted time and money to come in to donate only to learn that I could not because of ear piercings I received months ago. Would have been great to have known this BEFORE driving an hour out of my way. Consider putting it on your website where it clearly states this as I saw no where on it regarding piercings or tattoos. People were nice in person but when I had called the earlier in the week the woman I spoke with was extremely rude.
Some of the staff were very understanding and professional but on the other hand a great few were not. Tons of side conversations in front of patients discussing other patients problems and if I'm not mistaken that is a violation of HIPAA. Definitely recommend going elsewhere.
Great service workers are nice and makes me feel comfortable every time I come.
Maggie and Stephanie and density in they are really good people and they help me every time I come and that's with all the staffs they really are good people
I love the plasma center on Jordan ln Brittany Thomas and Tasha are the best ones there that center will not run without them never had 1 problem they are always a helping hand and smiling faces positive attitudes they are the blessings of the plasma center I will always ask for 1 of them????????????
The staff are very friendly, everybody there have a smile on their faces. It may take some time for the first visit but they have to do alot. They're hard workers; (specially that cute spanish donor processor on the front.) They're always busy too, I would recommend going there, I have a great experience everything I go there.
The people here were very sweet and helpful it was a great experience
Great place would be 5 but it's in Huntsville
It did take a bit of time as a new donor but the staff was seriously amazing. I am glad I went to this agency instead even as a last minute choice. Thank you for the support and walking me through the entire process. You guys are amazing.
The first time I came everyone was awesome but the second time I came they canceled my appointment when I had to use the restroom. I was out of the lobby not even 30 sec. Had my stuff int eh chair where I was sitting and everything and they made me re login. So rude to me!!!
The nurses here have a great upbeat attitude, the facility is clean. I definitely would recommend coming here especially if its your first time ever donating. Ive donating years ago in another state and my experience there is what made me stop donating all together till now!
I was referred here by my dad on 11/20/2021. He said when he left that morning the lady at the counter said the lady told him if I made it there by 12 I could still be seen that day since I was a first time donor. I got there at 12 and was told I needed 2 forms of ID. I forgot my social security card at home and the lady at the counter told me if I could make it back by 1 that I could still be seen that day. It took me 10-15 minutes round trip to go home and grab my social and make it back up there. When I
All of the staff is great! Ilia is the absolute sweetest and works very hard! Love her!
I've had nothing but great experiences when visiting this center. I've been donating here for a little over a year and the staff is always friendly. They can admittedly be a bit rambunctious, but that factors into their charm. I find that as long as you're patient and friendly towards the staff, they will be the same with you. All in all, I recommend anyone to donate at this center.
A great place to donate the staff are extremely kind and the management is beyond great . RAY is one of my favorite staffs .
Normally things goes smoothly here. Maybe the occasional person who let it be known they're having a bad day. But today I've sat here for well over an hour and haven't been called. No one bothered to ask what was going on. I've been to the kiosk to answer thir questions twice and have to wait longer. Not too happy having to wait for damn near 2 hours to be called
Training has improved the service and respect given to donors. However, it seems the the negativity was transferred to a more subtle form. Cross referencing individual staffing hours with timely donor compensation will show a pattern. That is if the phone is even answered during their shift.
The center is great. There so many things I could say. So I'll just say this. I'll never go back to CLS
The highest rated reviews are done by the staff btw. Ignore those. It's true. The staff need to go, the supervisors need to go, and screening for junkies needs to be stricter. It's not a pleasant experience even for the most patient of donors who are probably there 2-6 hours before they even get seated to donate. Staff talks about you, their personal lives, and has no problem with being rude to you.
This is by far the worst plasma center I have been to so far. The staff are rude incompetent and unprofessional. The first week I donated the staff lost my chart after I had been cleared to donate. I didn't know why I was waiting extra long when I was supposed to be next to donate eventually I had to use the center restroom so I did taking about 3-4 mins tops. When I returned to the place I was sitting I asked a staff member Why I have to wait so long she went back and checked came back with another staff m
Management is awesome and this fa?ility is very clean. The phlebotomists are very friendly and good at what they do in fact it's extremely rare that I even feel the needle at all. I have been a frequent donor here for 2 years.
Great experience every time donating. They always go the extra mile to make sure I'm comfortable. The needles are pretty sharp but Blonde Ashley always takes care of me and makes the process as smooth and quickly as possible for me.
Talecris is a great place to make a few extra dollars and also make a difference in someone's life. The workers are kind and polite. They make you feel comfortable and can really make your experience enjoyable.
Everyone was very friendly. They keep it very cold so dress for it or take a blanket.. I used a towel to cover my cold legs. If your new like me, plan on it taking 5 hours first time, doing paperwork, physical and all! Next visit should only take an hour or so hopefully, just donating.
DO NOT COME HERE! Waited for six hours and finally got called back just to be told I cannot donate because I have a fever of 100 degrees. I do not believe this because I am healthy and not at all sick. They are closing now and just wanted to rush me out the door. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional. They do not care about the donors whatsoever. Also the place is unsanitary and due to a plumbing issue they had at the time the smell was almost unbearable and made the experience extremely unpleasant
Donating here is such a humbling experience. Everyone is kind and very attentive to whatever I may need. I never worry for my safety, and there's always someone around to help. I recommend this place to any if they need a little cash but would also like to help save a life.
I LOVE all my guys and girls at the Huntsville center! Always greeted with a smile, always asked about my day and how I am doing AND ALWAYS AT LEAST ONE HUG!!!! The girls on the donor floor are excellent at what they do! Always get a hit!!!
The staff here are ??% awesome. Nice ,respectful ,and very professional. If you have the opportunity to ,donate in Huntsville, better life, and make some money. You couldn't possibly find a better place in the world to do this do yourself and others a favor go Talecris ,GRIFOLS
Staff is fantastic. Thomas, Destiny and Stephanie are very professional, personable and friendly.
I found this facility to be clean, and the staff was professional and friendly. It takes a long time your first visit, but that's because you get a physical exam and are drug tested. Numerous measures are taken each visit to weed out the junkies, so don't believe what you hear. This place gets a bad rap because their client base seems to be people who need money. I've been multiple times and will keep going, it's not bad at all.
I sat on the table for 45 minutes before I was finally stuck. they need to drastically adjust their floor procedures to reduce waiting time. Very frustrated especially when I saw their staff walking around talking and laughing.
Great service. Love the staff. Mgmt great. Been coming over 20 years.
Everyone at talecris is very friendly and are doing an amazing job at sanitization and social distancing. The service they perform helps save lives, and right now they are being generous to all who donate. If my friends see this, use my name as a referral and we will both benefit!!
The staff here is extremely nice!! Page and Ashley especially!! They are very gentle with sticks!! I love the incentives, maybe we will get birthday incentives and in the future.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
