I didn't even come to donate, I brought a friend who was coming to donate but computers was not working. The staff should try and work on their attitude or find another line of work. Extremely Unprofessional staff. Not helpful at all. Some lady who claim to be the doctor had the biggest attitude of them all. This place needs a whole new staff. It's no excuse for having only 3 stars. Obviously something is wrong here.

When comparing the Gastonia to the Kannapolis center, there is no comparing. Kannapolis center is (the best way to describe) SEEDY! There are about (8) kiosks but only 3 ever work. Gastonia Grisfol is appealing to the eye and the appearance is welcoming. The Kannapolis center needs a fresh paint job and better seating areas. The bathroom could use some work. And I believe there are old blood splatters outside the walk ramp leading to the parking lot that's been there for the past (3) weeks. With all that be

I've donated at their plasma centers for several years, never had a problem with them, until now. After waiting several years to donate, I was placed in the screening booth. I gave them a list of my medications. Everything that I take is not on their deferral list. The last medication that I told them was in relation to schizophrenia and schizo effect disorder. The lady looked into the computer, and told me point blank "Sorry, but you will not be able to donate at any of our centers because of your schizop

I've been going to this clinic (Kannapolis NC location) for 3+ years, I've ALWAYS been treated with such an incredible amount of respect, kindness and the utmost amount of hospitality, ALWAYS! The girls up front plus the one gentleman, (whose name I can't remember) plus EVERYONE in the back, TRULY make my day everytime I enter the Grifols building. But there are two employees that always go above and beyond for me (in the back), they always make it a point to ask how I'm doing, even if I'm not in their bay

No one ever answer the phone at this location. Then when you go there, the place barely has anybody in there so why nobody answering the phone. This has been going on since I transferred here.

I love this STAFF DOWN honey! They are gonna take really good care of you! I hope they are being paid what they're worth. They give amazing service at this location. I will be a continuous donor here. Thanks everyone!

I've been here 3 days in a row trying to donate. Over 2 hours each time and didn't even get to the physical the second 2 times. The first day my protein was 0.1 over the recommended amount, I found out at the 2 hr mark that I wasn't eligible to donate for that reason but I could come back next day and try again. I came next on a Sunday morning, was told I have to start the process again, but after waiting 2 hrs was told the 1 staff had to go on break and it would be hours still if they even got to me, so I

customer service horrible they don't close till 3pm will tell you there closing at 2pm staff is very rude doesn't speak when you come in do not explain anything than have the audacity to tell you can't be seen today because there closing in a hr doesn't make sense

I donated over 35 times... here.. COMMENTS DEMOTING THIS PLACE...... ARE..... lies... VERY great customer service.. and CARE . NEVER HAD I HAD A PROBLEM... RECOMMENDATION IS A MUST.... CLEAN AND QUICK... EASY PEEZY

These sad sacks never answer the phone, why have a phone number if you pieces of garbage don't use it? Who is in charge cause they suck with leadership and their job. Would not recommend.

Staff was nice but forgot I was there. sat there for 2 hours until someone noticed

Absolutely never again. I have never been afraid of needles until after my visit here. To start, the employees seem to be there only for the paychecks. They're rather cold and dismissive. I have difficult veins, which I disclosed prior to them sticking me. They finally found a vein, but after a while, I got an intense pain/pressure in my arm. All they did after being informed was readjust the needle. After a bit more of this, two of them came back and said they were going to try on the other arm because the

I was very nervous after reading other reviews but my experience was actually a pleasure. The staff was very helpful in walking me through the plasma doLLPnation process & answering any questions or concerns I had. The facility was very clean & they play some great music while you wait. Expect to be there about 4 hours for your 1st visit in order to complete all the steps necessary to allow you to donate. Each visit thereafter has been about a 2 hour process. The more nourished & hydrated you are, the bette

Management is terrible..I waited 2 hours before being seen as a new donor waste of time go elsewhere..staff extremely rude especially the white guy with the glasses

The staff are incredibly rude here! The ladies out front are rude and make fun of you and the ones in the back are nice... I am ashamed to say my daughter told me to come here..

It's so Cold in here could you buy some heated beds for us. Thanks

Usually this place is great. But I had to schedule my appointment at 6:45 pm because I had to work, usually I go earlier. I got there on time and the door was already locked. Not to mention they're not supposed to close until 7 pm. If they were going to close early they shouldn't of had the appointment in the app and they should call and let people know. I'm on a tight schedule and just wasted 30 minutes driving there and another 30 back. They shouldn't give the option to make an appointment that late if th

Donated Friday and still haven't gotten my money yet , every time I call they just keep putting me on hold

Very clean facility, workers are friendly, seems to be pretty fast every time I've went.

My experience was good at first. Appointments meant something, in and out in under 1.5 hours but as of late, I've waited in the lobby for an hour. They even lowered their payments and cannot even accommodate the influx of donors. Save your time and go elsewhere and donate. This company is also owned by Germans, so donate to an American owned company.

Went in today for the first time.. and everyone was very nice and welcoming. Very clean and professional

I felt a little discriminated against 2 months ago I watched a black guy only donate a half a bottle and asked to go to the bathroom the same lady let him go and come back to finish donating, I asked last week I had over a half and I was told no by the same lady and only got half pay. I believe if I was black I might would have been able to finish my donation??!! They can restock you any other time and I've seen that guy go to the bathroom and come back to finish tell me what's wrong with the situations?

Got there for a 7am appointment, started the process and told the guy I had not eaten a ton cause I had Bariatric surgery not long ago. So he said they would get me something to eat. I spent an hour and a half going through this process and waiting around but then was turned away during their last step because it had not been 12 months since surgery. Not sure why they do not ask questions like this and physically exam you before having you wait an hour and a half only to turn you away. Maybe they should li

Not terrible, but it's the only Plasma donation place I've been to where an appointment is REQUIRED to donate. If there are no available times then you're out of luck. And then even if you do have an appointment it will still take at least an hour before you even get screened. Of course to top it off, I've come to find out, I only got the new donor bonus the first 2 times I donated as opposed to the advertised 4, waste of my time.

It is a great feeling to give so that others can receive and improve their lives. And to get a small stipend is a nice bonus. The donation process can be long and tedious sometimes, especially when busy or maybe the blood draw is not smooth, but the staff are great and conscientious. I hope all that can will donate.

I've been coming here over a year now as part of my weekly routine (occasional breaks in there). The staff has always been pretty friendly and down to earth with me. Never had any hitches. Wait times are usually pretty good - you have days where it might take a bit. The first visit is going to take a while because of processing and the physical (which is non-invasive, just questions and general check up), but otherwise? Smooth sailing.

Been here twice. Girls out front are friendly enough, but the people in back not so much. Was turned away for a bruise they gave me on the last donation. Was told.i could donate out of the other arm. Yeah won't be back here to donate.

This is hands down the best place to donate plasma! I've donated off and on for a little over a year, and have never had a bad stick. The machines usually run smoothly, and the staff is so friendly! The people make this a great place to donate, and it feels good to help others.

They lie about there promotions don't come here

While the staff is mostly friendly if you don't catch them on a bad day, they have no problem wasting your time. I understand policies being in place. But to not have simple things posted on the website or when you walk in to let donors know that if they have a scratch on their hand they cannot donate would be great. So an hour of a person?s time and gas driving all the way to the facility is not wasted. Then when you ask why they don't have this USEFUL information posted to help keep donors informed and no

You all never pick up the phone why is that ?

Our whole family donates and the staff is always so nice. I have read all the reviews and I have never experienced any of the negative things that have been said and above all we are white. I had a problem with fragile veins and kept working with one of the staff members. I wish I could remember her name but she figured out that my return needed to be at a certain level and I have not had any more problems. The staff is more friendly than most people at the hospitals. I do hope you pay them good because the

I just started going to donate here about a month or so ago! So far everyone has been super friendly and I have basically been in and out with my donation with no problems! There are a few that might need a refresher course on sticking someone! Some a little more painful then others!

They keep the center Very clean and sanitary, the staff is amazing!!!they have a system where you can make an appointment on line , and when you come to donate you be in and out !!! Well if you donate as fast as I do!!! The key is drink plenty of water and eat your green veggies. It's such a satisfying feeling knowing my plasma is helping someone out there maybe even saving their life, all while getting a small token to help me out in return Thank you Grifol?s Staff You Guys Are Awesome Sauce!!!!

I have been a donor here since 2018. I have never had an issue with the staff or the cleanliness of the facility. The staff in the back have always done an excellent job sticking me. I am thankful for this facility and I'm glad I get to help people as well as make money. 5 stars to everyone!!

This place gives you 55$ for both donations even if your a new donor.. Sad.. Use to get way more now its a joke and a waste of time to go here. Switch to Charlotte for better pay and experience

I used to donate on a regular basis years back and then last summer I went back to start donating again and was told because I had a Booneville,nc address I couldn't donate at that location.i explained that I had just moved back to Concord and just hadn't had a chance to get my address changed yet but the girl told me I had to have my address on my id changed before I could donate.ok no problem I understood.once I got my address changed on my id and got new id in mail I went back to try again and was told I

I have only been to this facility few times but the last time I was there back in June the way I was spoken to had rubbed me the wrong way which made me decide to not return. Then I decided maybe to give it another try and went last week and was told I had to come back as a new donor since it has been 6 months since my last donation. So I went first thing the following weekend and mind you the person I spoke with initially told me I was getting new donor fees and then on Saturday 12/2/17 I was told by 2 peo

I enjoy going to this Talecris/Grifols. The staff is very nice especially Jamal. He's always smiling and friendly! The staff is experienced and they usually stick my arm well. Its probably one of the quicker donor centers to get through. They stay busy but do a pretty good job of keeping everyone moving. Nothing but good things to say!

I like knowing I am helping others when I donate. It's not all about the money. That's just an insensitive! I use mine to pay my only credit card bill, so it's like free money! Most of the staff are wonderful and highly skilled in their departments! I have recommended this center to others and would still! Becky rocks and always makes me laugh! I used to work here and she was my favorite supervisor! Love ya Becks!!!?? Y'all keep up the good work!

Awesome employees, caring and gentle. Always great atmosphere.

I've been going sense November of 2019. I like most of the people that are there. Some times there wait time is long (I think that is due to under staffing). I think that is about to be better because I am seeing new faces there. I have only had one bad experience I think the lady that stuck me that day had had a bad day. It didn't stop me from going back though. I am saving the money I am getting for a long vacation. So if you need extra money, try this out. It only takes a couple of hours of your day and

Fridays are NOT the day to go, 1 person working out front with a waiting room full of people! Why make an appointment when you don't get in on time! Then because they moved the needle all around in my arm and have a bruise that prevented me from donating my 2nd time this week. I drive 40 minutes to donate and be compensated only to be told I can't and can't donate again until I see the doctor....all because of the bruise they gave me. NOT AT ALL HAPPY!!!

The facility is clean and tidy. The staff is my absolute favorite!!! Even the ones that others just don't want to like because she's strict. I love Lorrie anyway!! I appreciate their hard work and long hours that they put in so that I may be able to donate plasma and help someone else. The process is not a quick, so bring something to read or do while you wait.

False advertising!!! When I became a new donor it was 120 for your first 8 donations (no other stipulations mentioned) here I am on my fourth being told I only get $50 because it's been more than 30 days. Crazy but I'm not giving away part of myself with all the possible complications for less than I signed up for especially when there was no mention of a time frame anywhere ... Also my very 1st trip they messed my arm up had a lump for two weeks and bruise... Hope 4 donations was enough to make something

This is the worst place if your trying to become a new donor and you have a full time work life. For one they will not answer the phone what so ever! I called about 20 times in less then 30 minutes and no one answered! I was only trying to figure out if I was wasting my gas coming up there or not. So since they refused to answer I decided I would ride down there anyways and see if I could get in. Meanwhile I'm calling the whole time I'm on the way, still no answer! I get there and walk in to two receptionis

I've been donating here for about 5 months and I have never had a problem. Place is clean and maintained well. I had a reaction during the donation process a few months ago and the staff handled the situation well. It was a little scary for me but I appreciate they way the took care of me.

Very Clean facility. The donation process is quick and painless. All of the staff is awesome, helpful and friendly. The only bad thing I can say about this place is watch out for the older black lady with the Egyptian style wig that works up at the front. She's very rude, unprofessional and talks to the donors like they are inferior to her. I personally will steer clear of her from now on. Other than that one unpleasant nasty person this is a nice place to donate at. And if your looking to supplement your i

The staff is so organized professional fast very friendly. They make everyone understand how plasma is important and they make you understand how it works. They also make sure you know the danger to follow all rules and regulations.

It's a great center to come donate plasma. the staffs are friendly and nice and I just love the atmosphere and positive vibes I get when I'm in there. So I just want to show my appreciation and Thank all the staffs for there hard work and patience. Thanx

The staff here is very friendly, everyone always has a great attitude upon entering. The facility is very very clean from the time you enter the front door all throughout the bathroom and in the back where you donate. I have absolutely positively nothing but positive feedback on this plasma center.

My body my choice right? Apparently that's only if you want to off an unborn baby. If you're a type 2 diabetic, you need written permission to donate your plasma from your body. I'm 47 years old and know all of the ins and outs of my condition. They said they were worried about my blood sugar dropping and then acted like they didn't believe me when I said my sugar never drops below 200. They could have tested my sugar right then and there if they were that concerned about my sugar levels. After all, they ch

The intake person was very friendly and made me comfortable-my first time trying to donate-BUT after I researched online how to qualify and drive from the far side of concord to donate was turned away by another associate who seen claw marks on my hand by a cat (I'ma pet groomer) she said they were open wounds but they are scanned over and have been treated by Dr. Seriously?? I was doing it for Christmas money I have 11 grandkids and I was broke so not only did she waste my time but I had no gas barely made

I don't normally have any issues with donating here BUT to be honest It's normal to wait an hour or 2 before even being called to the kiosk at this location, the staff is usually always grumpy and a bit rude. Not to mention the people who stick you, dig around in your arm with a needle to find a vain until you are left bruised. Then they differ you without paying you even though they just mutilated your arm. That's what just happened to me at least. I dont recommend this location and will be complaining fu

Really friendly staff. Quick and efficient. The only plasma place I found that actually answers the phone. They love to talk to you while you're donating and spark friendships so that makes it even better. They're very thorough in their teaching materials not only to their employees but donators as well, which makes the whole process much more comfortable. I love this place

At the front door they are RUDE AF!!! (Morning) Evenings are quite pleasant. They'll tell you to be there by 6 but turn you away after 5 for first time donors, FYI. Not really conducive to returning donors! Staff walk around looking at their watches. Intake staff all have attitudes and seem to want to talk down to you over the most trivial of things.

This place is still a joke. I haven't been here in over three years. They FINALLY got rid of the folders but it still takes OVER an hour in a half just to WAIT in the back. They don't bother setting up machines in advance they waste time doing it when the ppl GET to the bed. Immuntek in Salisbury might get really busy but you'll usually be hooked up within an hour and a half!!

So sad how you want to help the people who cant help themselves by donating plasma. I've been going to this location for about 1 month now. Some of the staff is nice, but everytime I go, im in there for about 3 hours. There's only 4/5 people in the waiting room & I'm still there for that long. 2 times I was there for a little over 2hrs. The staff skip people to get their people in & out. I sat & watched people come in after me by 15 to 20mins after me & sent to the back & halfway done by the time I'm plugge

I observed a manager (9/6/2022), wear her same gloves after 4 set ups, D/C , and wipe down beds.!!!??. I informed a nurse. She said she would let other management know. I saw it again a couple of days later by the same person. Her name is Emma.

Every time I come the workers are always nice and very helpful to me I always feel comfortable and safe this is the only center I have experience that and have been coming here for years because of that and will keep coming here

Don't go there unless you are willing to wait to be paid 30 plus minutes to an hour after donating to be paid also underpaid , they won't have any respect for you at all if u ask about it either . They are sooo rude it doesn't even make since how the manager is the rudest one too the Red haired manager is so nonchalant and could care less about her job or the people coming there .

So not only did it take my wife 2 and a half hours to be seen for a physical but then all that waiting just for her to not even get paid accordingly for her donation. Didn't expect this from this location but honestly , a compensation along side her donation is definitely called for. I didn't expect this from this location. They were so organized once upon a time. Don't know what happened here but highly unprofessional this place has become. Very disappointed today.

It is a terrible experience!!!!! The first time you donate is terrible experience. You have to go in early for a little info and then the schedule for a appointment three hours later to come back on that same day... They ask about your life history.... Well on my third visit I was Harrassed again over a boot I was wearing... I they seen my foot, they saw in was not wasn't any surgeries or anything.... I wear a boot because it just keep pressure off my foot so I can do what I do for a living... Stand eight

They never answer the phone and when they do they have employees that don't have the right information. I called up there to ask what I needed coming in as a new donor and if I needed an appointment and was told I could just walk in anytime. When I drove from Salisbury to Kannapolis in rush hour and finally made it I was told I would have to come back another time. I was PISSED! Luckily I asked for a manager and she rectified the situation accordingly. She scheduled my appointment and apologized that her

They are slow to evaluate you for each appointment. I usually wait over an hour past my appointment time and then an additional 30 minutes to an hour before starting the donation process

I concur with Jessica Eden's post. It is incredible that you were told to jump through all the hoops as a New Donor, only to get shorted AFTER your donation! Could they not see you registered as a New Donor? That is just terrible management. The management does not keep their employees up to speed on donation payment amounts as Ms. Eden stated. It is not the employees fault it is The managements fault. Once a customer is given a quote (people donate plasma for money, period) by any employee ( prior to dona

The staff was not rude but not nice either. When I started my donation I told the nurse/lady that it was stinging or burning a little but she did not check it. So my iv came out and they told me I would not be able to donate again for 56 day. So that something could build back up since they were not able to return my blood. That was a bummer. They did pay anyway but now I have to wait 2 months.

This is a great center. The staff, and managers are super nice and cool.... I recommend this place if you want some extra cash.... I LOVE IT Great atmosphere, easy to find location and very clean.... glad to be a donor here

Clean facility and the people are awesome. There are Covid-19 protocols also enforced at the moment. Temperature ??? checks, and face mask are required. Social distancing is also being implemented. Great place to donate plasma and they pay $100 your first and second time, also if you refer a friend, you and the friend will get an extra $50... This is as of 9/2/20

Staff is rude and they treat you like you're a slave or lab rat, some of them don't care how they stick you and end up with a bruise or blowed veins. If for some reason you can't donate, and you are with someone, they will throw you out of the lobby. The staff are not trained phlebotomist they are simply high school or GED graduates and have absolutely no certification in putting in the IV. You end up getting stuck at least 3 times. This place is very unprofessional.

Be prepared to be skipped over and to wait endlessly. Very unorganized. They do not go in order as they should. Also, if you are white you will be talked rude to, ignored, and made to wait even longer. I complained before I lefted and it took an act of congress for them to add my money on my card. Going back to donate in Charlotte. Very unprofessional all but Lucy. The one star is for her.

They are very friendly and will try to get you in and out quickly. This is in Kannapolis.

First time donor, i have literally been here an hour and have yet to been seen. There are way too many places to go for them to treat people like their time is not important. Abybother donation place would have me in and out within 2 hours as a firet time donor, this place says FOUR hours is common for first time donors. What a joke!

I've been going here for around 4yrs now! This is the best one I've found! They not only work hard but they make your visit fun an enjoyable!

The most frustrating plasma donation center ever!!! They made me earn my 75 both times. Been here for 20 mins and haven't even interviewed. Not busy at all. One other person in main lobby. Ridiculous!!! Fourth try for second donation. Had to prove address and did as instructed with SASE and I'm still not approved.

Absolutely lying terrible customer service. When we signed up we Were told the first four times we came it would be $100 today marked our fourth time that we have donated and we only got $50 when we went back in and ask them why they said it because it had been more than 30 days since we first donated I informed them that was never on the sign or nobody ever informed us that and she said she knows that's just the way they do things things. were told the first four times we came it would be $100 today marked

I have come in there for a week straight trying to donate plasma. First time i was told because of a certain medication I previously was on, I couldn't donate. (Understandable) they give me a medication form to have my doctor sign stating I'm no longer taking it, I do that. I go in the next day, the doctor whom approves it isn't in. I come back 3 days in a row after that just to be told that the doctor won't be in until Thursday afternoon. I call Saturday and was told the hold was lifted and I could now don

They make it impossible to donate if you have a life. Requires way more then one trip to just get registered. And they will lie to you. I came in and asked how to register and was told just come in anytime and they will do it. I came in any time and was told it must be at 7an and then they will schedule you to come back later that day. Some of us do it to help not for the cash and you make it Damn near impossible for us. But if you're unemployed and have all day to waste it's probably a great idea. G

Everyone that i have encountered has be very friendly and nice. They actually talk to you like they are an old friend. I jist did my 8th donation and every donation experience has be great. Even when i couldnt donate, because my protein was too low, they educated me and offered advice on what foods to eat. My best experience so far with plasma donations

Ive donated many times and everyone that I've been with has always been very professional, thorough, and accommodating.

Defferred because most of their staff can't stick a needle proerlpy so they sent me away with an unusable stick in my arm and no payment! The lady that chose to defer me stuck both my arms last visit and infiltrated both arms. Left me black and blue for 2 weeks! I have been going there several months and never had the troubles I had until she started! Poor communication! It wasn't my fault you can't stick properly!

I am a repeat donor I went in after working nine hours at my job It was 5 o'clock Friday I was tired When I got there I was 1 of 2 people in there I got to the kiosk ok but after I had to sit for 10 mins while 3 girls laughed and had a conversation when I got to the back there was maybe 9 people donating and nobody was at the desk so I sat for 10 more mins till I got fed up and asked a blood drawer "is anybody here"? She had to go to the front to get someone to help me! Its called doing your job I need to b

I am so thankful that I am able to donate here at kannapolis. The extra money is great. I love all the staff there they are so nice and caring!

Yesterday was my second time donating. During the intake for my vitals the older lady with a jamacaim accent proceeded to call me a hot mess because of my mental health issues. I was appalled. I have never been insulted like that in my life. I have struggled with mental health issues since I was a child and that really hurt me. She should know better and keep her opinions to herself

It's a great place to receive money and to help others out. The people are really nice and makes you feel very comfortable!

I have been sitting here at Talecris since 12pm I am new donor. But my BIG problem is I have been watching this woman run vitals on several people and she has yet to change her gloves. Even when she isn't working with a patient she still keeps the same gloves on this is unacceptable.

Employees in the back were very rude.

I was honest told them what I get prescribed and they denied me. But let people who straight up lie donate. 7 people who take the same thing as me donated this week but after having my doc fax. Paper over saying it's ok for me to donate they denied me. A paper they saidnhe needed to fill out and he did so I encouarge everyone to lie lie lie. I thought being honest would get me somewhere. Not here.
