I didn't even come to donate, I brought a friend who was coming to donate but computers was not working. The staff should try and work on their attitude or find another line of work. Extremely Unprofessional staff. Not helpful at all. Some lady who claim to be the doctor had the biggest attitude of them all. This place needs a whole new staff. It's no excuse for having only 3 stars. Obviously something is wrong here.

When comparing the Gastonia to the Kannapolis center, there is no comparing. Kannapolis center is (the best way to describe) SEEDY! There are about (8) kiosks but only 3 ever work. I've donated at their plasma centers for several years, never had a problem with them, until now. After waiting several years to donate, I was placed in the screening booth. I gave them a list of my medications. Everything that I take is not on their deferral list. The last medication that I told them was in relation to schizophrenia and schizo effect disorder. I've been going to this clinic (Kannapolis NC location) for 3+ years, I've ALWAYS been treated with such an incredible amount of respect, kindness and the utmost amount of hospitality, ALWAYS! The girls up front plus the one gentleman, (whose name I can't remember) plus EVERYONE in the back, TRULY make my day everytime I enter the Grifols building. But there are two employees that always go above and beyond for me (in the back), they always make it a point to ask how I'm doing, even if I'm not in their bay

No one ever answer the phone at this location. Then when you go there, the place barely has anybody in there so why nobody answering the phone. This has been going on since I transferred here.

I've been here 3 days in a row trying to donate. Over 2 hours each time and didn't even get to the physical the second 2 times. The first day my protein was 0.1 over the recommended amount, I found out at the 2 hr mark that I wasn't eligible to donate for that reason but I could come back next day and try again. I came next on a Sunday morning, was told I have to start the process again, but after waiting 2 hrs was told the 1 staff had to go on break and it would be hours still if they even got to me, so I

Usually this place is great. But I had to schedule my appointment at 6:45 pm because I had to work, usually I go earlier. I got there on time and the door was already locked. My experience was good at first. Appointments meant something, in and out in under 1.5 hours but as of late, I've waited in the lobby for an hour. They even lowered their payments and cannot even accommodate the influx of donors. Save your time and go elsewhere and donate. This company is also owned by Germans, so donate to an American owned company.

I felt a little discriminated against 2 months ago I watched a black guy only donate a half a bottle and asked to go to the bathroom the same lady let him go and come back to finish donating, I asked last week I had over a half and I was told no by the same lady and only got half pay. I believe if I was black I might would have been able to finish my donation??!! They can restock you any other time and I've seen that guy go to the bathroom and come back to finish tell me what's wrong with the situations?

Got there for a 7am appointment, started the process and told the guy I had not eaten a ton cause I had Bariatric surgery not long ago. So he said they would get me something to eat. Not terrible, but it's the only Plasma donation place I've been to where an appointment is REQUIRED to donate. If there are no available times then you're out of luck. And then even if you do have an appointment it will still take at least an hour before you even get screened. Of course to top it off, I've come to find out, I only got the new donor bonus the first 2 times I donated as opposed to the advertised 4, waste of my time.

It is a great feeling to give so that others can receive and improve their lives. And to get a small stipend is a nice bonus. The donation process can be long and tedious sometimes, especially when busy or maybe the blood draw is not smooth, but the staff are great and conscientious. I hope all that can will donate.

I've been coming here over a year now as part of my weekly routine (occasional breaks in there). The staff has always been pretty friendly and down to earth with me. Never had any hitches. Wait times are usually pretty good - you have days where it might take a bit. The first visit is going to take a while because of processing and the physical (which is non-invasive, just questions and general check up), but otherwise? Smooth sailing.

This is hands down the best place to donate plasma! I've donated off and on for a little over a year, and have never had a bad stick. The machines usually run smoothly, and the staff is so friendly! The people make this a great place to donate, and it feels good to help others.

While the staff is mostly friendly if you don't catch them on a bad day, they have no problem wasting your time. I understand policies being in place. Our whole family donates and the staff is always so nice. I have read all the reviews and I have never experienced any of the negative things that have been said and above all we are white. I had a problem with fragile veins and kept working with one of the staff members. I just started going to donate here about a month or so ago! So far everyone has been super friendly and I have basically been in and out with my donation with no problems! There are a few that might need a refresher course on sticking someone! Some a little more painful then others!

They keep the center Very clean and sanitary, the staff is amazing!!!they have a system where you can make an appointment on line , and when you come to donate you be in and out !!! Well if you donate as fast as I do!!! The key is drink plenty of water and eat your green veggies. I have been a donor here since 2018. I have never had an issue with the staff or the cleanliness of the facility. The staff in the back have always done an excellent job sticking me. I am thankful for this facility and I'm glad I get to help people as well as make money. 5 stars to everyone!!

I enjoy going to this Talecris/Grifols. The staff is very nice especially Jamal. He's always smiling and friendly! The staff is experienced and they usually stick my arm well. Its probably one of the quicker donor centers to get through. They stay busy but do a pretty good job of keeping everyone moving. Nothing but good things to say!

I like knowing I am helping others when I donate. It's not all about the money. That's just an insensitive! I use mine to pay my only credit card bill, so it's like free money! Fridays are NOT the day to go, 1 person working out front with a waiting room full of people! Why make an appointment when you don't get in on time! Then because they moved the needle all around in my arm and have a bruise that prevented me from donating my 2nd time this week. I drive 40 minutes to donate and be compensated only to be told I can't and can't donate again until I see the doctor....all because of the bruise they gave me. NOT AT ALL HAPPY!!!

The facility is clean and tidy. The staff is my absolute favorite!!! Even the ones that others just don't want to like because she's strict. I love Lorrie anyway!! False advertising!!! When I became a new donor it was 120 for your first 8 donations (no other stipulations mentioned) here I am on my fourth being told I only get $50 because it's been more than 30 days. Crazy but I'm not giving away part of myself with all the possible complications for less than I signed up for especially when there was no mention of a time frame anywhere ... This is the worst place if your trying to become a new donor and you have a full time work life. For one they will not answer the phone what so ever! I called about 20 times in less then 30 minutes and no one answered! I was only trying to figure out if I was wasting my gas coming up there or not. I've been donating here for about 5 months and I have never had a problem. Place is clean and maintained well. I had a reaction during the donation process a few months ago and the staff handled the situation well. It was a little scary for me but I appreciate they way the took care of me.

My body my choice right? Apparently that's only if you want to off an unborn baby. If you're a type 2 diabetic, you need written permission to donate your plasma from your body. I'm 47 years old and know all of the ins and outs of my condition. They said they were worried about my blood sugar dropping and then acted like they didn't believe me when I said my sugar never drops below 200. Really friendly staff. Quick and efficient. The only plasma place I found that actually answers the phone. They love to talk to you while you're donating and spark friendships so that makes it even better. They're very thorough in their teaching materials not only to their employees but donators as well, which makes the whole process much more comfortable. I love this place

At the front door they are RUDE AF!!! (Morning) Evenings are quite pleasant. They'll tell you to be there by 6 but turn you away after 5 for first time donors, FYI. Not really conducive to returning donors! Staff walk around looking at their watches. Intake staff all have attitudes and seem to want to talk down to you over the most trivial of things.

This place is still a joke. I haven't been here in over three years. They FINALLY got rid of the folders but it still takes OVER an hour in a half just to WAIT in the back. They don't bother setting up machines in advance they waste time doing it when the ppl GET to the bed. Immuntek in Salisbury might get really busy but you'll usually be hooked up within an hour and a half!!

So sad how you want to help the people who cant help themselves by donating plasma. I've been going to this location for about 1 month now. Don't go there unless you are willing to wait to be paid 30 plus minutes to an hour after donating to be paid also underpaid , they won't have any respect for you at all if u ask about it either . It is a terrible experience!!!!! The first time you donate is terrible experience. You have to go in early for a little info and then the schedule for a appointment three hours later to come back on that same day... They ask about your life history.... Well on my third visit I was Harrassed again over a boot I was wearing... I they seen my foot, they saw in was not wasn't any surgeries or anything.... I concur with Jessica Eden's post. It is incredible that you were told to jump through all the hoops as a New Donor, only to get shorted AFTER your donation! Could they not see you registered as a New Donor? That is just terrible management. The management does not keep their employees up to speed on donation payment amounts as Ms. Eden stated. The staff was not rude but not nice either. When I started my donation I told the nurse/lady that it was stinging or burning a little but she did not check it. So my iv came out and they told me I would not be able to donate again for 56 day. So that something could build back up since they were not able to return my blood. That was a bummer. They did pay anyway but now I have to wait 2 months.

Clean facility and the people are awesome. There are Covid-19 protocols also enforced at the moment. Temperature ??? checks, and face mask are required. Social distancing is also being implemented. Staff is rude and they treat you like you're a slave or lab rat, some of them don't care how they stick you and end up with a bruise or blowed veins. If for some reason you can't donate, and you are with someone, they will throw you out of the lobby. The staff are not trained phlebotomist they are simply high school or GED graduates and have absolutely no certification in putting in the IV. You end up getting stuck at least 3 times. This place is very unprofessional.

Be prepared to be skipped over and to wait endlessly. Very unorganized. They do not go in order as they should. Also, if you are white you will be talked rude to, ignored, and made to wait even longer. I complained before I lefted and it took an act of congress for them to add my money on my card. I have come in there for a week straight trying to donate plasma. First time i was told because of a certain medication I previously was on, I couldn't donate. I came in and asked how to register and was told just come in anytime and they will do it. Everyone that i have encountered has be very friendly and nice. They actually talk to you like they are an old friend. I jist did my 8th donation and every donation experience has be great. Even when i couldnt donate, because my protein was too low, they educated me and offered advice on what foods to eat. My best experience so far with plasma donations

Ive donated many times and everyone that I've been with has always been very professional, thorough, and accommodating.

Defferred because most of their staff can't stick a needle proerlpy so they sent me away with an unusable stick in my arm and no payment! The lady that chose to defer me stuck both my arms last visit and infiltrated both arms. Left me black and blue for 2 weeks! I have been going there several months and never had the troubles I had until she started! Poor communication! It wasn't my fault you can't stick properly!

Yesterday was my second time donating. During the intake for my vitals the older lady with a jamacaim accent proceeded to call me a hot mess because of my mental health issues. I was appalled. I have never been insulted like that in my life. I have struggled with mental health issues since I was a child and that really hurt me. She should know better and keep her opinions to herself

It's a great place to receive money and to help others out. The people are really nice and makes you feel very comfortable!

I have been sitting here at Talecris since 12pm I am new donor. But my BIG problem is I have been watching this woman run vitals on several people and she has yet to change her gloves. Even when she isn't working with a patient she still keeps the same gloves on this is unacceptable.

I was honest told them what I get prescribed and they denied me. But let people who straight up lie donate. 7 people who take the same thing as me donated this week but after having my doc fax. Paper over saying it's ok for me to donate they denied me. A paper they saidnhe needed to fill out and he did so I encouarge everyone to lie lie lie. I thought being honest would get me somewhere.
