This is the best plasma center I have been to. All of the employees are so kind and efficient. I have personally seen them handle upset, entitled people with so much grace. Keep up the good work!
Definitely have communication issues in this company. They advertise that you can get $100 for referring someone after that person completes their second donation just to find out that you must also complete a donation after they complete their second but that is not stated anywhere in the facility. And then I asked an employee if my significant other could use a birth certificate to donate instead of a social security card and was told yes. We wasted our own time and money on a Lyft to get told we could no
This is how most people in Texas have treated me. It's their way or the highway. I asked 2 questions and got put out for saying the procedures is dehumanizing.
Be careful going here specially if your new they will tell you how much your going to get in a first month but on 3rd or 4th. Visit they will cut down your money you will received and tell you due to policy change you will only get half the most scammer plasma place I been too
Amazing plasma center, comfortable and efficient donation process, friendly staff, and clear answers to questions. Center has a family-like atmosphere I felt well-taken care of.
I am appalled at the kind of people who work here. My boyfriend went in to donate. It started out very well, but the minute that they finished his physical, the nurse sat at the front desk and immediately got on her phone. Didn't take care of his file or anything. After some time, he asked if he could go back because he could clearly see open seats. She turned around and said ?we have to wait until there is an open seat.? They ignored him most of the time. he was there for 2 HOURS. I am never recommending t
Best plasma center I have been to! The employees take great care of you from start to finish.
Comments aren't lying!! I wondered why they were empty! I definitely suggest BioLife or freedom over this place
I'm extremely disappointed again. After closed for renovations for months, they text out when they will be opening again. The day has come and the site still has the old hours. Google search shows them still temporarily closed. Auto message still when attempting to contact the receptionist to find out what is going on(walk ins or appointments). Lack of communication with donors is ridiculous.
Kayla was an awesome phlebotomist. Intense, extreme pain from the initial stick?.. na just kidding. Great first experience.
With the new appointment system donors are able to move very quickly threw the donation process. Staff is outstanding and friendly easy to talk to. Referring friends and family not only puts more money in my pocket but I know that people are also being saved.
The new appointment system is wonderful! We get in and out so quickly! And the place is becoming more and more efficient! It used to be really bad, having to show up hours before they opened and standing in a line and things just took forever but not anymore!
The center is updating itself to appointments greatly cuts the wait time for all donors and no walk-in donors are turned away. They try their best to serve everyone to make a change with their plasma donation and they care for donors? wellbeing and health. Any questions about the compensation, registration process or even help with technology for the Donor Hub app is met with open arms and a smile. Nowadays it feels like strict business but here they make you feel like family and feel seen. The changes that
Clean facilities, friendly staff, they always have cool prize giveaways and different ways to earn cash!! Thanks Grifols!
Since they have started thier appointment process i have only had one on time appt.. the rest i have waited up to 45 min or much more. They get you to the back on time but once in the back you sit in a chair for 30 to 45 minutes and then they put you on a bed where you can wait about the same time before being hookwd up to the machine. At least that is my overall experience with thier appt. System. Plan on a 2 hr minimum visit.which sucks cause they reduced payouts as of january first. They now pay less for
I was donating plasma here from January 2023 until a week and a half ago. The quality of customer service has decreased drastically since I first started donating here. In my opinion, there is no excuse for having to spend 3-4 hours at the donation center on average to donate, regardless of the amount of workers that are available. A simple solution is to actually pay your workers a fair wage and then more workers would be available, solving the issue of long wait times. Also, what is the point of getting r
Been coming here for 3 years now. Great group of people. Very efficient in their work. Extremely nice and personable. Always trying to make things go as smooth as possible. Great interaction with us. Very thorough. Very clean establishment. Knowledgeable. Love when they play music (wish it was every day). Only negatives. Bring back option of appointments. Need TVs. Offer more incentives/money esp to return donors.
Worst center I've ever seen. Come in and your the first in line and still standing for 30 min while you hear them all talk in the back. Management walks by and don't even say anything to the screeners about the line of people waiting. GET GOOD MANAGEMENT In here and people who want to work. Some Of us take time out of our work days to do this and it's so inconvenient!
The crew at Grifols is very kind however they are skeleton staffed so expect to be standing in line for a 1 hour minimum, there's usually only 1 screener, and once you are screened after an hour you have to wait another hour to be called to a bed. After arriving to the bed it's another 45 minutes to 1 hour until you begin the donation cycle, and then 45 minutes to an hour to finish donation, and then it takes another 25-30 minutes to be disconnected from the machine. All in all you'll be there for 3.5-4 hou
Beet place in Killeen. Pays better than anyone else in tiwn
I've been coming here for a while always bringing new donors my moms life depends on these treatments so I encourage people to donate. But today there was the rudest lady working her name is Janet kinda on the heavy side. she had no respect for any of the donors her response to any of their concerns was I get paid the same any way.. these places save lives and need donors the staff should be trained a lot different they should not allow a disrespectful person with no compassion of what this does to work her
Very kinda and attentive bring a hoodie or a blanket cuz it's cold af in here
The staff here is so nice and friendly and wiling to answer questions you may have. The times I have gone it was obviously clear to me that they cared deeply about my comfort and safety. Just make sure to bring a blanket, because as they say on their website it, they run the place cold.
Staff is nice and professional, they always have great conversations when im here. Easy process, trained professionals, easy way to make cash. Whats not to love about this place. I will keep coming back just cause of my experiences.
My preference for days are afternoon Wednesday and Friday cause I work in healthcare and need time to get off work, but with the appointments and times whatever day you want they make it easy to schedule for donating.
Great environment. Friendly staff recommended. Drink your water. Enjoyed Donating
The staff is nice but the wait is long, and when I started they were paying $100 for the first 8 times and $100 for referrals, my husband was finally able to go after 2 weeks and now they only paying $25 for referrals and $475 for the first 4 times. A joke. Edit: I donated 8x there so that I could get my total $800 new donor bonus and the last 3 times that I went they only send me $30 instead, I had to call them every single time for them to fix it. If you don't like the hassle and the headache skip this p
I've been donating here for over 3 years now. The staff is amazing and very helpful. You are treated with respect and professionalism. Update , in which I don't want to do. I was a four year donor up until about a week ago. The new system they are using is reading that my blood pressure is too high, which in the over four years I've donated didn't have that issue. I really liked to donate and help, but now with the new system in place I can no longer donate, due to the new system. I get check ups regularly a
By far the worst experience giving plasma. When I went there a couple months ago it was bad enough because they would make you wait hours busy or not! Then only taking 3-4 donors in a hour, they let people cut you in line, and then you get to the back and it's empty! And every nurse only has 2-3 donors in their chair. I just came back a week ago and I'm so glad I don't go there anymore, they've taken out the chairs in the waiting room for the return donors and the wait is still the same! They've took the ra
I've been a donor for at least 4 plus years and I must say this place has been so generous to me.. My first time donor process was stress free and the Manager Mrs. Carolina knows how to handle any situation with kindness as to what I witnessed since I been coming here.. So if anyone is deciding to donate plasma , trust me this place is where you want to be..
It literally takes forever very short staff 2 to 3 hours waiting regardless. If you don't have a whole day to wait don't go there. But the few workers are nice tho.
I've been donating plasma for the past couple months and I enjoy going there. The staff is always friendly. I've never run into issues with donating. When they say make sure you eat and drink lots of water before donating it's for a reason it definitely helps with the donation process. I do it because I know how important it is needed when my daughter got sick.
Employees are nice. Clean place It is cold in the back so make sure you bring a small blanket if you get cold and drink plenty of water and a small meal. You can donate 2x a week in a 7 day grace period.. over all employees are nice. They try to get you in and out as fast as possible
This professional group of people have the outmost care for their donors. I have been coming to this facility for many years and have no complaints. They're very friendly and accommodating! Even when it gets busy, they manage to make everything flow smoothly. The monthly promotions make donations even more rewarding.
Today was my first time going here and I had excellent service. It was really clean and sanitized. It took about 2 hours total for me to get in and out. Next time it should only be around an hour. The staff was really friendly and they took time to talk to the donors. They explained everything clearly and made sure there was no confusion. I would recommend this place for anyone.
Is a great place to make extra money and help somebody out. The staff is amazing and fun. They make you feel welcomed and like family. The facilities are clean and they also do small activities to show donors appreciation. Donating plasma is easy and safe IF you eat healthy and drinks plenty of water.
I have been donating for several months & I have my experiences to be friendly, quick & professional. Staff is quick & ready to go. I highly recommend to eat & drink plenty of water before No caffeine. Bring a JACKET or small blanket. It's freezing!
I've been TRYING to donate for 2 weeks now. They are always understaffed and it's to the point where new donors are only accepted within the first hour of opening. They have a waitlist for new donors to see medical (a list of no more than 7). They only take 7 people a day as new donors which is filled within the first hour of opening and then they take all day to get to you. They take so long to service new donors it's expected that donors write their name on the waitlist and go home to be called when it's
I have been coming here for a long time and the staff has always been nice and professional. I donate twice a week but it feels like going to see friends. If I could talk on my phone I would rate them all five stars. Other than that they are absolutely awesome sauce!!!
Nice establishment. The Grifols team are seasoned workers in donating process. Great work team!!!
I just started donating last month. I truly wish I knew about this sooner. I like the fact that I'm able to help those in need and who can complain about making extra cash. The staff is super friendly and the facility is very clean. 10 out of 10 would recommend!
I have been a client here, since 2015. There now under new management and I have yet to be disappointed. New manager " Mr. Sam" has everything running smoothly as usual. Im so impressed the staff is allsome. They pick the best employees and allow them room for growth. Kinda wish, I could a night contract cleaning facility at night. (I own a cleaning service) ???????????? You guys/ gals ROCK!!!!!@ Killeen location its always friendly faces and helpful hands followedby kindness.
Came in on a Saturday and was told that new donors need to come in at 8 am the next day because they're all booked up.. Even asked about an appointment for the next day. That's one morning down already. I came in the next day, 8 AM, and was told "we only do weekends by appointment." Long story short, I came two days in a row, got mixed signals from STAFF, and left empty handed. I'd give less/more stars if I even had the opportunity to know what the service is like.... So unprofessional to assume I KNOW YOUR
They're usually pretty good. The only thing is the staff is sometimes abrasive and they are often short staffed which makes the wait longer. Today they had already taken me back and about 10 minutes later they had called me wondering where I was.
The staff members are super friendly and always make me feel welcome. Wait times can get longer on Friday's but the employees are efficient at getting people in and out, in a timely manner.
I'm donating as I type this review. To any newcomers, use this as your full disclosure. If you come into this business fully equipped with the following, you'll have a good experience: 1.) Patience with the system in place as it's designed to properly select qualified donors to assure that those receiving said donors? plasma are not put in harms way. After all, this is each employee?s first priority. Not paying you. 2.) An understanding of why you're coming to this business, and what it is you are waiting
On September 4,2023 I walked in the grifols building 8:30am and an elderly aged Filipino lady named maricela or aricela with grey hair was helping a black lady at the front desk, so I decided to wait until she had finished helping the black lady politely so I stood and waited patiently. She was still helping the lady while I was standing there and maricela/aricela randomly got disrespectful and loud to me while addressing, "HOW CAN I HELP YOU!!!" I was raised to be polite respectful and courteous To adults
I have only been here twice but the staff is wonderful. They greet you and make this experience easy easy. They work quick and try to get you in and out. Outstanding place.
Very inconsiderate I don't even see how this place is still open. they don't care about the patients. If you have a problem they will simply put you off. The time to donate take 3-4 hours. Other plasma centers do not take that long. They are purposely deteriorating people and wasting time and don't care about it.
Waited till my 10th donation to have a decent review. Definitely recommend coming to this location! Multiple ways to earn money while saving lives & not to mention staff is super down to Earth and make you feel at home!
Talecris is a great place to donate. They recently switched up their payment policy so it's especially beneficial if you can donate twice a week. The staff are friendly and really get to know you. They help the process go by smoothly. Remember to eat plenty of foods rich in iron and protein and drink water and steer away from greasy foods and alcohol the day before for a swift donation.
I'm kind of a regular there, six to eight visits per month. the staff is extremely personable. I just met Luz there, what a wonderful person she is and truly an asset to the team. thanks for all you do.
Fantastic staff! I always felt welcomed everytime I enter the building and the staff is professional and are always in a great mood! Easiest place to get extra cash, the money is always on my card once I step foot out the building.
I've been donating for about a month now and I've had nothing but positive experiences each time I've visited. The staff is professional and facility is clean. Good way to help those in need and make some extra $. Win-win!
Amazing staff members. Very knowledgeable. Inward particularly amazed by their quickness and the cleanliness of the facility. I'm a donor, and I saw this great opportunity to make a little money as well. But my life will be saved and I hope it does well for others too.
This place started off great. It was the first time I've ever donated plasma. Helping people and getting a little extra cash never hurt. The experience has turned for the worse. I speculate it's because many people just don't follow simple rules because they are impatient. Now you stand in line the entire time and the app (kiosk check in) seems worthless. ???????
I enjoyed every appointment I had. The staff and security is where they shine in my opinion. They make your day with a smile, and any questions you have they answer in more than enough detail.
Odessa is the best. Whenever other employees mess up with my mom (and it happens a lot), she's always the one to fix it. She deserves a raise. I love her so much, I named a Barbie after her.
Absolute worst service of any type I've ever received in my whole existence. First time coming I was asked after waiting an hour and a half to come back later for a heat rash on one of my arms. When I returned they made me sit for another hour till they could just look at my arm and say yea, it's gone. After lowering my IQ through that I waited another hour just to be told to go home because I need a physical and they can't do it. As if they couldn't give me that information to start. I called again today t
The first time donating anywhere always takes forever, here is no exception. Get there between 5:30-6am to be one of the first new donors. Get a good nights rest the night before, eat a good meal within 4hrs of donating & make sure you drink plenty of fluids to make the donation go faster. If you're cold natured, bring a blanket because it's super cold in there.
This was once a good place to donate. The staff was great and the each cash was good. But for the last year or even longer it has been horrible. The wait is toooo long. 3 hrs or longer....they really need to get it together.
They do not respect to new donors time, I was turned away for a bump from shaving and they wanted me to make time to come back and get on the list in the morning again. Wasted 2 hours of my time and didn't even have the courtesy to set me up an appointment.
Everyone there is friendly and helpful. Lately been in and out under 2 hours. I stopped going here for several reasons and will never go back. I walked out after bad attitude of intake person.
I enjoy donating since it adds monthly supplementary income + it feels good knowing I'm helping people who have certain genetic diseases. I think everyone who can should do it! Everyone of the workers are so friendly too!
This place is amazing and all the staffs are friendly and very outgoing and have so much knowledge and make my first time and 2nd time so much easier! I will def recommend others to come here!
It's a friendly environment and great customer service. The wait isn't usually too bad and the techs are efficient with moving patients through. Great way to give back and earn a buck.
Terrible management, extremely rude, and they will bait you with cleverly worded text messages that make it seem like you can get more money on your next donation. However, when you call about it, everyone in the chain of command will be extremely rude to you and just pass you along until you get upset and just want to hang up. Be cautious when dealing with this company. They know how to get over on the people they need.
I have been coming here since 2018. At first I didn't like some of the staff, but over the years they made a shift in the staff and the atmosphere is more fun and welcoming. I love coming here to donate, because they are personable and remember my name.
It's really a 50/50 chance as to whether or not you have a good day after leaving this place. Some of the staff is so nice and sweet but it's only a few. They're not consistent at all nor do they really have fully trained phlebotomist so I've walked out of there bruised up on both arms. Worth it if you really need the money, but I'd look for another place.
I have been providing plasma at this location since February of 2021. I truly enjoy the experience. The bonuses are great and the staff is very friendly and always take the time to answer your questions. I feel very safe about giving plasma and I feel like it is pleasure to provide such a life saving gift
The one bad experience I did have had absolutely nothing to do with the staff or facility.. It was a computer glitch and the manager happily fixed it for me and the staff all was there to he sure I had a better experience when I went in today.. This place is amazing. And a good place to give back to the needy all while being compensated for your time.
I enjoy coming to the donation clinic. The people are always friendly. The place is very clean and well managed. Most of all the staff works with you if you miss an appointment or need to reschedul . I will recommend this facility to my peers. Keep up the good wor . Great Job!!!
The worse center ever if there's less than 1 star I would give it to them, I've tried to donate 3 times in as many months. Each time they tell me I can't donate because of a mark in my hand the truth is it there's no mark!!! They blocked my name from the computer I even can't do the questionnaire instead of telling me the truth and save me time from coming and not be able to donate they say I can come in later and donate and I do so and the same thing happened each time please don't waste people time and te
The very first visit may take some time but everyone I encountered was very friendly and answered all my questions. The front staff at times could be a little more willing to quickly tend to you or your questions but it seems they constantly rotate who's tending the front and this causes confusion and inefficiency. Overall, I will be back
The staff are all wonderful. They work really hard and everyone is always very nice and professional. I have been coming here for years.
The killeen 440 plaza has been making great strides for customers experiences the management of the facility has been listening to the employees and clients to make things better.
I sat there for almost 4 hours as people who had arrived after me went through the entire process and left before they started on me. I was quiet and patient to the staff as many other donors told me they were in awe at how I hadn't pitched a fit. When I finally go to see if I'm able to donate they simply say that because I had gotten my most recent tattoo 10 months ago in another city, I would not be able to donate. There countless things they could've done to make this experience better, but by the end of
Had sent there several times in the past. With no problems after 6 months rent back sat for 8 hours and because the nurse asked a different question and the answer wasn't in my last physical I was told he didn't find me reliable and I couldn't donate there again. The place is always slow but yo wait 8 hours to be told your not reliable!
These people rude rude, and have no respect for the donors. I've seen the assistant manager intentionally embarrass and insult people. The people threaten to defer you of they dont personally like you and the Manager does nothing to address the issue when brought to his attention. I would NOT recommend going to the center on fort hood street Killeen, texas. They blast RAP music all day and some of it uses profanity. It's very unprofessional and discourteous. They techs have insulted people who complain ab
Since my last review : Staff has improved attitude wise. First visit back they werent very attentive to the donors and were more concerned with their inappropriate and unprofessional conversation. Things however have improved with time. However, it is nearly impossible to make a new donor appointment considering they only take calls that same day and if you dont call as soon as they open you dont have a chance to get in the door that day. Pay is better than BPL in copperas cove. Just wanted to say to the ma
I was told I cannot talk on my phone. I would love to know when that changed. This is the only place that has told me that. They said I can text. No I can't! My husband is a semi truck driver and that is not a good idea for him to text any drive!
Some of the staff is rude in the front talking about all the people who call in asking questions & I understand sometimes it's common sense but you shouldn't talk about a person who legitimately may not know . They rely on google to be right & sometimes the information google gives is not accurate , the people In the back are pretty cool tho . They meet you with smiles & positive energies . Overall experience was a 3.5
Fast, efficient, friendly and clean. As for people who pass out or 'die' in the parking lot, there's nothing the employees can do about donors lying prior to coming in. They work by protocol and have rules. You dont follow, you suffer. However I've been coming here since sept and never seen any adverse events like that..
Rude service and nearly impossible to become a new patient .. I was told last week after already waiting an hour just for the kiosk to be told I had to call to make a new patient appointment. so this weekend I got up and called at 7 am only to be told they no longer do appointments and walk ins only ? I don't think they really care about their patients here..
Talecris has finally brought the passports back! Great and easy way to help people as well as helping to pay for gas. They have redone their intake system and it is much faster!
The staff are amazing! Very friendly, talkative and make you feel comfortable. The facilities could use some improvement. (Fix the TV?s and keep the bathrooms clean.)
Went today and it was a great experience as always! everyone was welcoming and professional! will be coming back for sure!
Great facility. But for the love of god, go back to doing appointments. It's sheer chaos here now. Either more people need to be hired to process from the front, as well as opening up all the sections in the back room. But the process is sooooo slow and dragged out at the moment. Takes over an hour just to do the pre screen now.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
