I've been donating here for 6 months consistently and it's nice here. The staff is kind and they do raffles etc often. There is a wait sometimes. that's because donating is a process. But the staff goes as fast as they can! Definitely recommend!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They know me by name by now ?? but they are always welcoming and making sure you are okay

My blood pressure was 126/79 they told me it was too high. The following time it was 111/88 and they still deferred me. They also blocked off the blood pressure requirements in the rooms with sharpie! SKETCHY!!!

I like this donation center. I can have pulse issues that get me deferred but here I've been on the same schedule since the first day I started. All the employees are super friendly beginning to end. I really love the staff at this center, really cool people. Management is a different story. Before each donation you fill out an online form. If for some reason the center determines that you are unable to donate ie. low protein, low iron or something even more serious they are supposed to call you and let you know. This has not been the case on 3 different occasions now but instead when I go online to fill out the form on the express kiosk via the app I receive a message "unable to determine eligibility "

I have been donating plasma here at this location for almost 2 years and can't imagine going anywhere else. I love that I'm able to show up when it's convenient for me, the staff is always kind and helpful and they take the time to get to know you, as well, which means a lot. It has been very upsetting for at least a year that those who drive donators or recommend donors to come to your facility are not at all entitled to any respect from your staff! People are friendly and professional but the business end sucks. I donate 1000 ml while some people donate less than 600 ml and we both get paid the same. They struggle to provide a good explanation .

I have been coming to donate plasma here on and off for over 8 years. Staff has always been friendly. Overtime they have become much more efficient, offer snacks prior if there is a long time, and staff gets to know you as a Indivudual and i am friends with them all ?? one hour of your time twice a week is definitely worth it.

If I could give 0 I would went to try and donate blood 3x in one day the always had a reason not to take me. 1st I understand I didn't eat so they told me to eat and come back which I did came back about a hour and a half later they told me I couldn't as I had to eat within 1 hour to donate then there was a problem because on my SS card there wasn't enough character space to list full name they figured that out and was sent to eat again. The closing time is 7 however if you work or go to school don't even bother going after 5pm because because all you get is moans and groans. All the staff on 8/9/2023 from 1pm on was amazing! The new donor sign up, physical, and entire process was about an hour quicker than other places due to their efficiency and correct staffing. Other places often have people waiting around for 30 minutes to an hour before they have someone available to do a physical. The process was very quick and they have updated machines. Talecris Waukegan is by far the best plasma center in town, they're fast and really friendly. I love to come here on my days off work just to see these amazing people who takes care of their donors.

Its very unprofessional here. You will wait way longer then needed while staff goofs of right in front of you. For best experience I recommend going early in the morning because the morning staff is more professional and quiet and seems to care about their job more than later shifts. Also there IS NO POINT IN CALLING. They rarely pick up the phone here. If you have questions or concerns you MUST drive to the location, which is immensely unfortunate and inconvenient . It's a great plasma center but it's pretty small whatever you do don't come on Saturday unless you want to wait 4 hours or more other than that it's really good I like the people that work here however the plasma center rips us off by not paying us $100 a bottle when they make $3,000 to 5,000 to $6,000 to $7,000 a bottle they could pay us a hundred bucks and not even blinking eye so for that I'm taking a star away and that's for corporate

Staff is so rude. An employee named Scott had no idea what he was doing, he stuck me to where my arm was so bruised and swollen that I couldn't move it. It took 4 weeks to heal. He was extremely rude and management refused to say anything to him. I left 2 messages for management that were never returned despite my telling them I was going to talk to an attorney. I would give zero stars if I could. CSL is the way to go.

Can't say me and the wife will be wanting to donate here, at first the front desk people where somewhat ok to talk with but after a few minutes they seemed to start talking about me without me there. one of the people took kind of a rude approach with me, so because they don't want my donation I'll move on... They also said I was dehydrated come back in a week, doesn't take a week to get hydrated ?? they just don't want the business I suppose.?? Giving 2 stars because one of the ladies was nice ish.

I have gone a few times and the staff for the most part is kind and fun. Every place has a few bad apples no matter what it is so don't let the one or two unpleasant people ruin the whole place for you. They are quick, clean, and professional.

Did my first donation Monday and I go back tomorrow for my second. Def give yourself 3-4 hours on your first and drink as much water the night before as you can. I had no issues and payment was on my card before I left the parking lot.

I would not trust my personal health information this this company. I experienced one of the most humiliating situations with this company. They called me to tell me personal health information but I missed the call and they left if on my voicemail. Then they called back to let me know the information was not correct. EDIT: Still never answer the phone. Very slow with getting people checked in to vitals and sat. On average for the past couple months it's taken 30-40 mins just to get vitals. Then another 30 minute wait to get sat, not even hooked. 2 bays will be full but they wont open a 3rd with a busy line. Place has slowly been declining for some time and some employees talk more than they work.

Horrible service, employee's are childish, unprofessional and disrespectful. Employee's talk about other clients information to other clients and employees. Also a company that looses your personal information (2) isn't being ran correctly, it's being ran by individuals who can care less. Honestly some of the staff are very rude. I came in around 6:20 pm after a long 10 hour shift at work only to be greeted by one of the staff saying ?why you come so late?? I wouldn't recommend this place. Maybe a change of staff is needed.

In comparison to CSL down the road, the wait is always longer here, you are not greeted as warmly, you are not always thanked and wished well at the completion of your donation nor are you given a snack at the end like CSL. The front desk is rarely attended and I think the word impossible may be accurate to describe reaching the center on the phone. It started out very nice and pleasant my first visit..when I returned 2 days later for my 2nd donation my experience was a night mare. The woman that was doing my plasma was in a rush and bruised my arm real good. Another employee that was very kind had to take the needle out and redo in the other arm .she was not only rushed but appeared to not know her job and rude as they come .This woman will not EVER TOUCH ME AGAIN . I am a new donor at Telecris Waukegan. When I joined I was told That if I made 2 donations per week for my first month that I would receive $1,020.00. Well they pay $125 for the first 2 visits, $100 each for the next 4 visits, and $125 for the last two visits. That adds up to $900.00. I went to Talecris on Saturday 01/14/17 with hopes of becoming a new donor, but my attempt was unsuccessful. The facility opened at 8:00 am and I arrived around 8:35 am. When I walked in I was instructed to sign in. I asked if new donors sign the same list as everyone else and was advised no, but only after I signed my name. Grrr!!! I was told that I could no longer donate here after 5 months because the person that did my first physical did not properly document my tattoos and piercings. One staff member by the name of Darrin is EXTREMELY inappropriate & unprofessional! He somehow got my phone number & asked me where I lived! I'm assuming he got my number from my chart.
