Customer Reviews

I've been donating here for 6 months consistently and it's nice here. The staff is kind and they do raffles etc often. There is a wait sometimes. that's because donating is a process. But the staff goes as fast as they can! Definitely recommend!

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They know me by name by now ?? but they are always welcoming and making sure you are okay

All staffs are very professional and firm friendly. Extra money helps a lot at least. I would recommend this company Grifols is the best than other companies.

The staff is very friendly. Sometimes there's a wait but normally not very long. They pay well. Definitely a donor center I would recommend.

Fast and easy way to make a few bucks. Make a appointment and in and out in a hour. Staff is great

friendly staff, easy seamless appointments, very professional and understanding, frequent visits always happy

My blood pressure was 126/79 they told me it was too high. The following time it was 111/88 and they still deferred me. They also blocked off the blood pressure requirements in the rooms with sharpie! SKETCHY!!!

I like this donation center. I can have pulse issues that get me deferred but here I've been on the same schedule since the first day I started. All the employees are super friendly beginning to end. And the actual donation process goes super smooth. Isabel is my sweetheart :)) props to everyone poking though, very professional and pretty painless. I recommend this donation center. Two thumbs up.????

Rude staff bigoted management doesn't respect the name I answer too and calls me me difficult for wanting basic human respect

I really love the staff at this center, really cool people. Management is a different story. Before each donation you fill out an online form. If for some reason the center determines that you are unable to donate ie. low protein, low iron or something even more serious they are supposed to call you and let you know. This has not been the case on 3 different occasions now but instead when I go online to fill out the form on the express kiosk via the app I receive a message "unable to determine eligibility "

The people from the front to the back are awesome. So friendly and welcoming.

They very moody there! Always threatening to defer you and ALWAYS GIVING YOU AN ATTITUDE 30 minutes before the lock the door!! It reminds me of 26th n California

I have been donating plasma here at this location for almost 2 years and can't imagine going anywhere else. I love that I'm able to show up when it's convenient for me, the staff is always kind and helpful and they take the time to get to know you, as well, which means a lot. If you're thinking about donating plasma, this is mybtop recommendation.

It has been very upsetting for at least a year that those who drive donators or recommend donors to come to your facility are not at all entitled to any respect from your staff! Some people who gave reviews said how rude and unprofessional the people are here. Those whom I know who have made plasma donations may not have experienced this rude unprofessional behavior, but I have!. If it wasn't for drivers and connectors like me, some donators would be unable to donate especially since the money made doesn

Super friendly team at this location! I like that you can pre-fill out forms in the app before you arrive so you're ready to go as soon as you get in the door. It can get busy, but the staff is pretty good about putting the pedal to the metal to get you out quickly. The reimbursement is a little lower than other places I've donated at, but the staff in Waukegan being so nice, and the proximity to my house make up for the

People are friendly and professional but the business end sucks. I donate 1000 ml while some people donate less than 600 ml and we both get paid the same. They struggle to provide a good explanation .

I have been coming to donate plasma here on and off for over 8 years. Staff has always been friendly. Overtime they have become much more efficient, offer snacks prior if there is a long time, and staff gets to know you as a Indivudual and i am friends with them all ?? one hour of your time twice a week is definitely worth it.

If I could give 0 I would went to try and donate blood 3x in one day the always had a reason not to take me. 1st I understand I didn't eat so they told me to eat and come back which I did came back about a hour and a half later they told me I couldn't as I had to eat within 1 hour to donate then there was a problem because on my SS card there wasn't enough character space to list full name they figured that out and was sent to eat again. I called a different one on Greenbay not only were they paying double

Very clean and professional. I always feel welcomed.

Good experience. Nice nice staff. Nice people.

They have the best workers and the keep the billdin clean

Extremely inappropriate behavior and conversation from staff. The closing time is 7 however if you work or go to school don't even bother going after 5pm because because all you get is moans and groans. Angela makes you feel like absolute garbage for having other responsibilities. As she said "why would you come up in here this late, you want someone who's tired sticking you? " this quite literally is the same routine every single time i come in the evenings due to school and or work of 12 hrs. sounds like

super friendly staff, always a pleasure to visit

Great place to donate. Done in 40 minutes

The Staff here are so amazing... I mean, from management to the Phlebotomist's!!! Friendly and Caring! You feel like you're in good hands because you are!!! Especially Bella', Byron and Lidia!!!

All the staff on 8/9/2023 from 1pm on was amazing! The new donor sign up, physical, and entire process was about an hour quicker than other places due to their efficiency and correct staffing. Other places often have people waiting around for 30 minutes to an hour before they have someone available to do a physical. The process was very quick and they have updated machines. Not those old ones with the red, orange, and green lights but ones that tell you how much you donated your goal and when to squeeze. Th

Weekend staff is horrible. Whoever the girl is with the ombre dread locks is just standing around and just looks to be gossiping with the women behind the window. They're taking forever to stick people. It's literally the weekend. No one wants to be here and definitely don't wanna be here for hours. There are 2 hrs left till they close and they're moving like they have all day. There's not enough donors because the time it takes to get in and out. It should be a priority to make the process as efficient as

I've been donating on and off for about 14 years recently became a one thousand donator receive a gift certificate.no money surprisingly was not included but now I am a VIP for the rest of my participation I enjoy my visits and the employees are very friendly just to think about all the lives I have possibly saved

Talecris Waukegan is by far the best plasma center in town, they're fast and really friendly. I love to come here on my days off work just to see these amazing people who takes care of their donors.

Its very unprofessional here. You will wait way longer then needed while staff goofs of right in front of you. For best experience I recommend going early in the morning because the morning staff is more professional and quiet and seems to care about their job more than later shifts. Also there IS NO POINT IN CALLING. They rarely pick up the phone here. If you have questions or concerns you MUST drive to the location, which is immensely unfortunate and inconvenient . Everytime I donate I hear the phone ring

Love coming here! I've been a plasma donor here for over 2 years now and it is the best plasma center I've ever been to! Staff is friendly and very professional! I always feel safe!

Love the workers they make you comfortable especially if it's your first time. Relaxing atmosphere. Love listening to the music while donating and they know my name making me feel at home. ??

It's a great plasma center but it's pretty small whatever you do don't come on Saturday unless you want to wait 4 hours or more other than that it's really good I like the people that work here however the plasma center rips us off by not paying us $100 a bottle when they make $3,000 to 5,000 to $6,000 to $7,000 a bottle they could pay us a hundred bucks and not even blinking eye so for that I'm taking a star away and that's for corporate

The Staff here is great. Very Caring. Friendly management gets you in and out in a timely manner as well.

Great place keep up the great work!

The new system works great. The wait time has been reduced significantly.

Staff is so rude. An employee named Scott had no idea what he was doing, he stuck me to where my arm was so bruised and swollen that I couldn't move it. It took 4 weeks to heal. He was extremely rude and management refused to say anything to him. I left 2 messages for management that were never returned despite my telling them I was going to talk to an attorney. I would give zero stars if I could. CSL is the way to go.

Can't say me and the wife will be wanting to donate here, at first the front desk people where somewhat ok to talk with but after a few minutes they seemed to start talking about me without me there. one of the people took kind of a rude approach with me, so because they don't want my donation I'll move on... They also said I was dehydrated come back in a week, doesn't take a week to get hydrated ?? they just don't want the business I suppose.?? Giving 2 stars because one of the ladies was nice ish.

I have nothing but good things to say! I love being able to make extra cash while helping people. The staff here is great! They are a bit social but it keeps it light! They always make me smile! I never wait long and my money is always right on my card!! Keep up the great work!

I have gone a few times and the staff for the most part is kind and fun. Every place has a few bad apples no matter what it is so don't let the one or two unpleasant people ruin the whole place for you. They are quick, clean, and professional.

They got enough of beds in the back but they don't use them so we got to wait to donate ???????

Clean place and very nice and professional

I go here all the time! I like the staff and they are always nice. I work in the healthcare field and I like to see some joking around and happiness! They are always friendly and kind. Great group of people! Will always come back here

Very professional and good people with him

Marias awesome . Staffs friendly

Knowledgeable, friendly, staff... process is usually less then 2 hours walk in to walk out. Express kiosk is great.

Did my first donation Monday and I go back tomorrow for my second. Def give yourself 3-4 hours on your first and drink as much water the night before as you can. I had no issues and payment was on my card before I left the parking lot.

I would not trust my personal health information this this company. I experienced one of the most humiliating situations with this company. They called me to tell me personal health information but I missed the call and they left if on my voicemail. Then they called back to let me know the information was not correct. So I went in today, sat in the for over an hour for them to tell me they made a mistake, but because of the mix up I still couldn't donate till I seen a doctor. So I spoke with Frank S., one o

EDIT: Still never answer the phone. Very slow with getting people checked in to vitals and sat. On average for the past couple months it's taken 30-40 mins just to get vitals. Then another 30 minute wait to get sat, not even hooked. 2 bays will be full but they wont open a 3rd with a busy line. Place has slowly been declining for some time and some employees talk more than they work.

Horrible service, employee's are childish, unprofessional and disrespectful. Employee's talk about other clients information to other clients and employees. Also a company that looses your personal information (2) isn't being ran correctly, it's being ran by individuals who can care less. Not only myself but I've observed many people having different issues with these people... Being in this type of field, having personal information of other people is very powerful advantage and most of their employees do

Honestly some of the staff are very rude. I came in around 6:20 pm after a long 10 hour shift at work only to be greeted by one of the staff saying ?why you come so late?? I wouldn't recommend this place. Maybe a change of staff is needed.

In comparison to CSL down the road, the wait is always longer here, you are not greeted as warmly, you are not always thanked and wished well at the completion of your donation nor are you given a snack at the end like CSL. The front desk is rarely attended and I think the word impossible may be accurate to describe reaching the center on the phone. Also, from the check-in kiosks to the plasmapheresis machines, the equipment here is outdated. This equates to a longer intake experience on site to a longer ti

The staff is good. I like Kali, YoYo, Marian and the rest of the staff. They are totally professional and make the plasma process very simple. I also like the management there, they are always understanding and willing to fix issues.

It started out very nice and pleasant my first visit..when I returned 2 days later for my 2nd donation my experience was a night mare. The woman that was doing my plasma was in a rush and bruised my arm real good. Another employee that was very kind had to take the needle out and redo in the other arm .she was not only rushed but appeared to not know her job and rude as they come .This woman will not EVER TOUCH ME AGAIN . I was told I could request who I want..this is the only reason I will return.

Staff is professional. Always clean and courteous! I love Jaella and miss velvet!!!!

I am a new donor at Telecris Waukegan. When I joined I was told That if I made 2 donations per week for my first month that I would receive $1,020.00. Well they pay $125 for the first 2 visits, $100 each for the next 4 visits, and $125 for the last two visits. That adds up to $900.00. You are supposed to get a ln additional $30 for your second donation of the week but this place is refusing to honor their promise and have basically told me that I am suit out of luck. This place is your standard bait and s

Wish I can give them NO STARS AT ALL I've been coming here to donate since 2018 and the staff members before have been so wonderful and respectful.... now with these new staff members are so rude and disrespectful.. Frank the manager let's them get away with it and they goof around so much I will not be returning at all to this place I will go to CSL plasma center

I went there 3 weeks ago it took longer than 2 hours. It was my first time donating. They're not too crowded & busy to answer the phone. They actually need donors; they called & texted me. Ask for Alice when you get to the donor room. She's awesome!

My first time there about a year ago it took awhile, when I finally got in the back, this lady put the needle in my arm then went on break, so a couple of people was tending to me, but nobody notice the needle was to far in my arm until I said something, then they went and got the nurse they didn't want to make a big fuss about what they did because they didn't want me to get nervous, so I told them take it out of my arm and this will be the last time I come here and I meant that. I wouldn't recommend this

I am really disappointed about my experience here. This was my third time going, and today I just walked out. Once again, I sat while others were called before. There was no rhyme or reason for it. I came signed in at the kiosk, but still others who clearly came in after me were called first. It is really disappointing because I wanted to give back. I was not doing it for the money, but the organization here is troubling. It is sad that I had to make the decision to walk out. What do you do when you wan

Had me there for three hours just to turn me away after making it to the back after screening/physical was finally done because they made a mistake and told me I had to come back tomorrow & would have to go through the whole process all over again never again will I go here! Also will jip you out of your money if you let them went in for my second donation of the week and was paid as if it was my first had to call & complain I wouldn't recommend this place save yourself the trouble!

I went to Talecris for over two years and was even a VIP donlor for donating over 100 times in a year. Most employees were very friendly and made the experience enjoyable. However, after questioning an offered reward for donations, I was banned for simply asking a question, even without being told so by the person banning me and management. Feeling I was wronged, I took my complaint to higher authorities within their corporate struture. After initially being responsive, they handed down a lifetime ban witho

They deleted my review, so I'm here to tell you they're unprofessional and like to hide reviews about their discriminatory staff. I took my husband there 2days in a row. Everything was fine, the staff was friendly up until he met Alberto. After already being registered with the proper paperwork, including proof of residency. During these stressful times we are trying to make a little extra cash, so my husband had confided in Alberto about our money struggles. Due to this, Alberto had changed his residency t

I walked in today and was rushed for every piece of information I was giving them. So much so that I had gotten my date wrong when I'd gotten my tattoo and they refused me even when I told them I could not remember but it was after my daughter was born in 2018. They said because I wrote down 19 they would not allow me to donate. But I didnt write it down the lady in the front did. I even went as far to call my tattoo guy and he said it was so long ago he didnt remember. I called to tell them and they still

They are extremely unprofessional.. they LOST My medical chart. My medical information is just floating around they lost it. I asked them for their name and they refused to give me their name. I ask him for the doctors name they refused to give me the doctors name. I asked them why they can't give me the doctors name that is reviewing my medical records and they told me they don't want me to Google him... that's weird what would I find if I googled him?? I thought this was a reputable place but apparently n

There were some bad apples that worked there but I have to say they cleaned house and everything is as it should be with the staff and facility. I was just there and my interaction and transaction was beyond pleasant....The Waukegan location is very professional and donor friendly now so if you haven't been in a while I suggest you give it a go... Beautiful and friendly staff,Good job guys.

This place is terrible do not come here unless you really have to. It takes hours to get out of there. Employees are rude and don't care that your there to donate to help people. My blood pressure was low once so I asked for a Gatorade or a granola bar to raise my blood pressure and they rudely told me we only give that to first time donors you need to be prepared. Another thing is your not allowed to make appointment over the phone there are walk ins but I work and I usually don't know my work hours off th

The staff here are very slow, disorganized and have bad attitudes. They do not answer the telephone. I will be in the waiting area observing the staff just meandering around while gossiping loudly when the phone will be ringing with back to back calls but no one will pick up. I have been treated and spoken to so poorly by staff here that has prompted me to speak about it with the center's management staff to address the issue just to be treated the same way by the management. I've called the center's corpor

Just had my first donor experience and it was very quick and efficient. Very straightforward

I have been to this location prior so that's why I'm giving it 3 stars instead of 1. I've never had an issue donating here. But for some reason NO ONE WILL ANSWER THE PHONE. IVE CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES. By the looks of the other reviews, it seems like no one cares to answer the phone. How are you going to run a business where you don't answer the phone?? SMH

I went to Talecris on Saturday 01/14/17 with hopes of becoming a new donor, but my attempt was unsuccessful. The facility opened at 8:00 am and I arrived around 8:35 am. When I walked in I was instructed to sign in. I asked if new donors sign the same list as everyone else and was advised no, but only after I signed my name. Grrr!!! Anyway, I asked where I should check in as a new donor and I was advised that they were not accepting anymore new donors. I looked around the waiting area and saw 2 people sitti

Donating started out great but I was suppose to move and I didn't, because I couldn't prove I didn't move even though I had bills and mail with my address on them, this place deferred me. CSL is way better!

The people here are amazing they go out of their way Really enjoy coming back every time to donate They make it an enjoyable experience!!!!

You come once you're going to come again, so therefore these workers aren't just workers they're like my other family. Keep a smile on my face every time I come .

Very professional staff always on point with professionalism & cleanliness & the rewards are great for the donar & for the human bodies that need plasma to help fight diseases

And they wonder why they're losing business to the other company down the road. 7 people in front of me and are still three people waiting in front of me that was two and a half hours ago obviously it's the poor management because the manager is still sitting at her desk doing nothing

Always in great mood to work

Fun environment always a pleasure love some of the employees lol will always visit you should too

Was there for over 3 hrs and didn't even make it through the screening process. I was there for an hour before ANYONE EVEN TALKED TO ME. ONE OF THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. It you value your time don't bother to go, find another place.

It's a great cause and I wish I could do it more often. But this is my first time here after going through the tedious screening and registration. So this time should be quick right? No, I made an appointment for 8:30 and even arrived early. Almost been an hour now and I'm yet to be called. I would love to donate more but coming from Mundelein to Waukegan for something that is going to take 3 hours?.. Hard to justify that. I'll probably come back again just to see if it's still this bad, since I do really

DONT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR TIME WASTED. I was told that I could no longer donate here after 5 months because the person that did my first physical did not properly document my tattoos and piercings. Even after they admitted it was their fault they still banned me. Everytime I go in here staff looks stressed and frustrated resulting in them taking it out on their customers. They plasma donation center in Kenosha is much more organized and is a stress free experience...I highly recommend them.

Went here to donate in my experience coming here the staff are unprofessional and in eduacated. I came in one day first time trying to donate here I go through the forms the questions and everything till I get to the physical. Now What gets me is I have a mosquito bite like on my ankle and one on the side of my foot. Automatically they see just one little dot and they tell me I'm a heroin addict they cant let me donate. I requested for them to let me have a drug test and they said no. Wasted 2 hours for the

The place is clean and there are a lot of friendly staff BUT I rate it one star because my husband was unable to donate due to the personal bias of one staff member, Alberto took what was said in privacy about our money struggle and made it so he was unable to donate. Deeming him homeless AFTER proof of residency was already established, we are not homeless, we own a car, work and just needed a little extra cash in hard times. Alberto should not work there if he is bias, regardless or what was said Alberto

my best friend told me about this place and how much it helps people who need plasma. so far everyone?s been so kind to me. the very first time i went i panicked the entire time because i?m terrified of needles. one of the nurses who did my physical, tanya, held my hand while i got stuck lol. even the people who go to donate are nice and love to talk !

Never answer their phone and always and i mean always short you on you pay ! I wouldn't suggest this facility to anyone!! Been calling their establishment since 9 am to have them fix my payment! Left numerous messages and not a nothing back from anyone! Worst place ive ever donated to im my life! Trying to find corporate number as we speak!

Amazing staff!!! First time and was blown away by how attentive the staff is!! Matt and Maria made the process so easy! Would definitely recommend this location.

Was just waiting for my friend & the staff was EXTREMELY bitchy and rude. Rude the second I walked in & the old blonde lady wearing old fashioned clothes from the 90s was the worst one of all. Never in a million years would recommended this place to get the blood sucked out of me!

One staff member by the name of Darrin is EXTREMELY inappropriate & unprofessional! He somehow got my phone number & asked me where I lived! I'm assuming he got my number from my chart. It has our personal information on the chart. Including address, phone number, email address, etc. Most of the staff members are rude & overall I wouldn't advise anyone to go here unless you absolutely need to!
