Customer Reviews

I can't speak highly enough about the incredible staff at the Hemarus Plasma Donation Clinic. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, respected, and genuinely cared for. The entire team is not only highly professional and efficient but also warm, friendly, and attentive to every donor?s needs. Each step of the process?from check-in to the actual donation?was explained clearly, and any questions I had were answered with patience and expertise. The nurses and technicians are clearly well-trained, and t

Extremely disappointing experience. The website clearly states that walk-ins are accepted ? that's a lie. I double-checked by reading multiple reviews that confirmed they had no issues recently, so I gave it a shot. I even went the extra mile: I called several times (no one ever picks up), left a message through the contact form on the website, and emailed ? not a single response. Over a WEEK of trying to confirm if I needed an appointment, and still nothing. I finally decided to go in person today, ordere

Its clean. The staff is nice. I have difficult veins, and it's been almost easy for them. It is almost impossible to get a person on the phone. New people need an appointment for a physical and you have to wait a couple weeks for blood work to come back with results before you can donate. Money always hits right away and card always works.

Came to register as new donor. Tryed to call but no answer. This place is a joke walked in after catching the bus to get here. Just to be told you have to make a appointment as new donor appointments are a week out. They only take new donor between 9 and 11. On the website it say walk -ins welcome. Attempted to call while in building you dont here the phone ring. Which is very unprofessional. And it has been like this for sometime. The lady at the dask says its the internet but thats bs because how do yall

I have been donating here and thi us the BEST.... I have seen some donors complaining about appointments and requirements and etc but they needed thise papers but they don't have it and they became upset and end up making bad reviews. When you come here, bring all needed required it is a breeze. Staff are kind and very professional, in all plasma centers in Jacksonville, so far the best, they consider and treat you like a family member. Come and be a donor here and you will not go to another plasma cente

I've been going here for years and have never had any issues or problems. Everyone that works here is extremely nice and pleasant that's why I keep going back, especially Henry. He's always been extremely helpful and I must say that I've come to develop a friendship with all of the employees. Plus I enjoy seeing Henry and talking football with him. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

New donor pay: The first 4 donations is your new donor pay. Refer to picture posted IMPORTANT: secure your bikes! Double locks! I have already had one bike stolen from this plasma center. This area is full of theft. Cars have been broken into as well! Secure your property! On the flip side the staff is friendly, I've never been bruised and I've been donating here for over 3 years. The speed here varies, if there's staff, it'll go faster, about 10 am nowadays it's dead inside the lobby. A good time to go

I have been donating at hemarus plasma for a good while and their service is topnotch. I experienced several plasma centers here in Jacksonville but hemarus is the best place so far. I love all the staff, they're very good at what they do and they treat you like a family member . Thank you to all the staff for being wonderful to all the donors like me. Henry s always accommodating and respectful...

If you work a normal job Monday through Friday avoid this place. Was going to donate today Saturday after I seen that walk ins are welcome on the website. Walked in and was asked if I had an appointment I said no and was promptly told I needed an appointment. Strike one the plasma centers website has false information. Strike two after asking the woman at the front desk if I could get an appointment for Tuesday after work like 5 to 5 30 I was quickly told the lastest they are open all week is 4 pm. Strike t

I have been going to this place off and on for many years. I really enjoy the staff there. The issue I find with this place is they are very inconsistent with their operating hours and will lock the doors early. If a business is not supposed to close until a certain time I find it Unacceptable that when I go 30 minutes before closing, the doors are locked. This has happened multiple times in the past six months. It's just frustrating when you drive 45 minutes there to find the doors locked 30 minutes befor

After trying to contact the center by phone for 2 hours, and after reviewing the website which clearly states ?walk ins welcome? I decided to come looking forward to my first time at Hemarus. After entering I am told that they require an appointment. The male staff member began to get loud and angry because I'm inquiring as to why they don't have that indicated neither on the website or the front door which clearly states walk ins welcome. I asked to speak to a manager whom stated that they have complained.

First staff is friendly especially Henry, Annette and Illyana. Henry is hilarious and treats you like a friend. The only not so great part is pay dropping this month it's already kinda low but dropped again. Should have more contests and incentives for long time donors that have been loyal donors to Hemarus

I have been coming to hemarus for roughly two years now. Since becoming a donor here, the process has been above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend new and or existing donors to please give this location/company a try.

The prices has gone down drastically the wait time is overrated. I gave one star for mr.henry he is the only one deserves recognition there.new donor pay sucks they never I mean never ansr the phones the pay changed in January 2025 waste of time to even go to this place.the phlebotomy crew except mimi definitely need more training they always poking ppl wrong and dont pay after they have damaged your veins.ppl always arrive angry and want to fight over places in line like children.even when u have been wait

Next month will be a year that I've been coming to hemarus on beach blvd in Jacksonville, and because of the staff I'll continue to come as long as I live in the area. I've been donating plasma since college (almost 20 years now) and have been to various different companies whom I won't name, in numerous states. Hemarus tops my list as my favorite hands down. Even though the pay decreased by $10...people like Annette and Meredith make my screening process seem like I'm just catching up with an old friend wh

I go here every week and since the pay has changed it's been a smoother process I can say but there still great and all nice people especially Meredith ????

Went online the night before I went to the local office on Beach boulevard and it explained to me that I can walk in without an appointment that is not the case once I took the day off and walked in I was unable to complete this process because they no longer do that and they refuse to upload new information on the website so I just blew my whole day for nothing.

Love Hemarus out of all the donation places I've been around Jacksonville they have been the most comfortable and fast wait time. They pay very well and the staff is amazing!

Mr.Nora,Mrs..Cuban Priicness Betty and Ms.Anette Cuban Priicness and Mr.Heney the whole squad are very good workers and very sweet have nice Auras and make me feel welcome Hemarus plasma are really saving lifes

The pay has gone up here, this is the best center I've donated with. Octa was kinda ratchet, bio had 2hr+ lines every time I went. Here there's not usually a line, the phleb techs are good at sticking, & I've never had the pay system go down like at the corporate centers. Highly recommended

I came on Saturday to become a blood donor, because the website says that they work and accept donors from Monday to Saturday without an appointment. But they refused me. They told me to come from Monday to Friday and make an appointment in advance. I am outraged.

This place is great ! In & out within an hr most of the time, friendly staff ! Best I've experienced

I'm new here, and did my first donation the other day. I arrived to the facility after trying to call them for days on end, which is my one criticism of the facility-they don't answer the phone and their voicemail is full. I went to the facility to try to find out if my initial sample had been approved for donation. It had, but the front desk person told me they were scheduling physicals now (which I still needed) and that I had to make an appointment. I explained that I rode my bicycle all the way there (a

Very rude, don't treat you well and when I asked to speak with someone that spoke better English, the supervisor got a quick attitude an started yelling at me. Would not recommend this place.

I've been coming to Hemarus for about 2 years and I will tell you that this is the most cleanest and nicest place I've ever been to. They are very fast and they have the nicest staff around of any plasma place ever! The staff is beyond helpful and willing to make you feel like family verses a number. Henry is the BOMB! He has been here forever and is always joking with everyone and making sure they leave with a smile on their face! If you are looking for a family place to donate, then Hemarus is the place.

I highly recommend Hemarus the staff is professional and sweet and know what their doing and will make you feel comfortable.

Went to this place and it feels like a sauna in the back where people are donating. These places should be super cold to conserve the plasma being taken and its not a safe environment for donors to be donating when its 82 degrees in here. I wouldn't be surprised if a donor passes out today while donating. Its 95 degrees outside and it just keeps getting hotter and hotter in here.

I love this place . They are fast & very friendly. Mr. Henry Is just the sweetest guy and very respectful. Has great conversation too! Betty is sooo sweet and I love her so bad . I request her all the time lol . They make you feel good here fr

Tyrone, Meka, Mimi the cuban and the blonde hair cuban ARE amazing excellent certified stickers. You don't have to worry about resticks unless it's something wrong with you lol great place to donate great conversation in atmosphere no drama majority up class people are donating here not a lot of homeless ppl have it fested up. Quick process upon start up and good on getting you in and out. People in the front are stick on vitals and iron/protein level iron level has to be over 39 and protein has to be over

This place is terrible. The bathrooms are trash, no one understands you. (after getting the ok from a medic and walking 2 miles they refused to see me because of the kind of apartment I live in. This place is some bs don't waste your time go to the other guys that pay more.

Don't like the fact the the door was locked in my face at 3:58 nobody speaks English at all today was a day that I really needed to donate but they had the nasty attitude ever even after I spoke to someone through the door there attitude was even worst

Staff is professional compared to other places I've been, check in goes as fast as they can, staff in the back is friendly. I won't mention by name because I like most of them. They bad thing is they close to early (4pm)

When your machines don't work properly, DO NOT BLAME the customer!!!!!!! We are not the ones running the place and it is NOT our job. Take responsibility and speak to the customer with respect. I was there for over 2 hours. I went in at 3:30 and did not get out until 5:30. The staff was extremely rude. I was blamed. "my blood was too thick???" then come to find out after being stuck on both arms, it was the machine cuff. And the lady tried to say it was my fault because I did not tell her. She the

Thank you, Hemarus. I love everything you do for me. Thank you for letting me be party. Your family. God bless you

These are people are kind, caring and a pleasure to see. I'm very thankful for the good care they provide.

Had a great and very friendly experience at Hemarus plasma! Henry made me laugh and the entire staff is very friendly and helpful!

SOMEONE ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!! THEY ARE SCAM EVERYTIME YOU GO THERE THEY SAY THEY ARE NOT TAKING NEW DONORS AND TO CALL BUT THEY NEVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. WHAT KIND OF BUISNESS IS THIS????

I thought new donors get priority omg I have been here almost two hrs and they calling all the current donors instead of the new donors I rather go somewhere else this place is so dis organized we have to do a whole physical and all before donating so I rather keep gonig to bio life then to deal with this long wait omg

I've been coming to Hemarus here in Jacksonville Florida since March of 2024. I've been a Blood and Plasma donor since I was in the Air force, I've been donating for over 30 years. I've donated to more than a few Plasma donation centers across these great United States in that time, and I can say that Hemarus is one of the most professional Plasma centers I've donated to. The whole staff and I do mean the whole staff are outstanding professionals, I wish I could name them all, BUT I haven't learned all of t

The staff is so friendly the facility is clean and maintained. When a new donor the staff explains the process of donating and willing to answer all questions. The safety of all donors is most important to the staff. I enjoy coming to this location because not only the experience with staff and donors but it's so close and convenient. Everyone that works here and comes as donors are friendly. And I want to respond to: I am pieces and Holly Fletcher. Your wrong, I've been coming here to this place for a long

Can't say enough good things about Hemarus of Jacksonville!!! My brother Brian and I go twice a week. It's the amazing staff that keeps me coming back! Henry, Betty, Minerva, Nini, Ileana, and Leo are all 5 star staff! I highly recommend.

It tell you welcome walk-ins are welcome. But when you get there, you have to make an appointment for a week later.

Henry is the best worker here.when u need to donate go to him

Ive been to pretty much every plasma place in Jax and this is by far the best. My wait times are usually never long and the people here are the best!! Especially Mini, Betty, iliana, nirvia & the new girl Leo! They really make my visit awesome every time. To be honest if it wasn't for these ladies I don't think I would've been coming back

The worst place to donate... The nurses doesn't provide you the correct information and then they blame you for not knowing their policies (internal policies) I try to talk to the manager but the nurse interfere again blaming for the others nurse mistakes...so...I don't recommend this places at all, besides both times I went the ac either is not working or they don't turn it on and it's uncomfortable to wait all those hours there with this weather...

This was my first time coming in as a new donor. The staff was very courteous and helpful to me. The process from screening to getting stuck was very quick and I personally thank Mrs. Hilda for her compassion and help today. It was a good experience!!!

This is the very best center I have ever been to. The people actually like their job. They truly treat you like family. My favorites are Minirva, Nini, and Betty!!! Those are my girls forever??

Nora hilda and mher ,annette are super friendly and professional

Could you confirm corporate number, the number listed on website says it is disconnected **** I had a medical emergency for my disabled child and asked if I could leave early and was told yes. I came back for my return donation and they told me I was permanently differed for having to leave and they had attempted to call me but did not. Staff refused to give me an accurate corporate number or my medical records which I requested. Office said they had a personal meeting about me and my child to vote me as

I came here as a new donor yesterday. After I finished donating my card did not work and I had to wait til the next day for them to issue me a new one. They then charged me for my new card even though they admitted that they handed out faulty cards when I donated. My advice for any new donors: there is a dollar general in the same plaza, immediately after your donation, go there and try to purchase something small like a 50 cent bag of chips so you don't have to go through the hassle and be charged for the

Been to a few they are the nicest best I have visited. Allstars all the way. Minerva treated me so well and took my plazma no pain. thanks again. All the staff where so nice to me.

I'm going to start this review out saying I have been going to this center off and on since 2017. This place was one of the best in Jacksonville. On May 5th at around 4pm I came to location hoping to do my regular donation. When I arrived the door was locked and the company advertised a 5pm closing time. I called the office nobody answered the phone and it was staff in the office. Finally after a line developed at the door an employee came out and said that they were closed due to short staff. I asked for a

I love the staff and the wait time isn't to long

Miss Hilda is amazing with problem solving, and great with customer service. I really appreciate her help and hard work, make my experience at Hemarus Plasma Center friendly and welcoming!

I've been going to the plasma center for years by far the best customer service in Jacksonville and I've been to them all it's a reason other locations have armed security and this location doesn't it's because they treat people like humans and not another donor rather it's extremely busy or slow these people always treat people well

Mini , Bety are amazing at what they do at the job . Anette she does amazing at her job , Everybody in there is technically good at the job is good manners good customer service in there. I have no complaints when I leave there.

Don't waste your time donating here I wouldn't have even given it a star if it was my choice. I had the perfect vein but their worker didn't stick me properly they moved to the other arm or should I say dug around my other arm as I'm sitting there bawling my eyes out and because I couldn't give them their sample they didn't pay me what I was owed! Not only did I ask for the manager three times and never got the manager. The lady who came out told me the manager wasn't there when other people clearly told me

Good place to donate but bad place to work. No insurance available, no paid vacation time nor sick leave. No retirement benefits either. Phlebotomists are not wearing their lab coats due to the temperature on the floor runs from 75? to 84? . No shields are worn to protect the employee even though they are in site on the counter. If you try to talk to the owner she takes everything as the employee I disrespectful. The employees are very nice.

I have been going here since January and everyone here is so helpful. I have deep rolling veins and always have issues with blood pressure machines actually giving me results. The nurses are always quick to and happy to help. The floor staff is very attentive and are quick to help should any issues arise and they provide a welcoming environment

Great place and HILDA LOVE HER...above n beyond always.. really cares. The staff EXCELLENT ALL THE TIME..CARING N CAREFUL ..thr only plasma center that treats u like they care....no issues with payment ever

Betty, Minerva, Mini, Ileana and Leo are always upbeat and positive. Love coming here because of them. Great atmosphere and very professional people.

Great service everytime I've gone. They get you in and out quickly and are all very nice throughout the process. Henry, Hilda and Elsa always are kind and do wonderful. Tyrone, Mika, Mimi are amazing also.

Amazing place! Workers are very thoughtful and caring. They prioritize your health and make sure you are taken cared for! The ones working at the area where you sign, June and Byren made sure everything was good to go.

I feel likeIf you're going to talk trash about customers you should make sure they don't understand Spanish before you speak poorly about someone coming to your establishment

Been doing this for 20 years and this i another place I won't go. They make me feel like I should be paying them. Bio life keeps dropping 10$ a week so they can keep it as well. Any place pays 120, but that's how they get there money back from the initial bonus donations

Very beautiful clean and it smells so fresh :) new donor here

Wow, glad I checked the reviews out 1st. This place sounds horrible & the "owner" is definitely some degree of a narcissistic character, every review he/she responds to is to place blame elsewhere instead of taking accountability for their employees & building codes. I'll stick with Octapharma!!! Thank you reviewers for keeping from making an obvious huge mistake!!!

The workers here are amazing. Betty, Nini, Minerva, and Mimi are awesome. They treat me with respect and are very patient. And clean.

So, l have only been twice. My 3rd visit, l waited for 45 minutes or so, the male nurse pulls me to the back room & tells me I have ," antibodies in my blood & because of that, I am not allowed to donate anymore. So, I asked him to explain it to me in layman's terms, & he didn't know WTH he was talking about. The employees were nice but I was very disappointed & upset. I feel like l should have still been able to donate one last time or they could have compensated me just for the long wait!

The staff are incredible and very sweet not a long wait time either usually centers can't find my veins but the nurses here can so thank you Minerva , Beth , NiNi , ILiana , Leo for all you do Go Hemarus ??

Nice environment and waiting time is not long. The staff is very nice and does their job adequately. The staff members include Azaria, Elsa, Hilda, Henry, Tyrone, Rey, Ilina, Ajita, Queenie, and Jun. All of these individuals have made my experience at Hemarus smooth and enjoyable. I recommend donating here.

I had a very good experience at this center. They don't pay as much as others, which is the only reason I switched. But other than that I think they are the greatest. It's not stressful and doesn't take up your day. They get you in and out. And people genuinely smile... Probably because they are happily employed here.

The best place to donate plasma in Jacksonville. Clean facility with no long wait times. The nurse Henry and the technician Hilda were both super nice and professional. They made donating at this center a breeze compared to other places I have been. If you are going to donate in Jacksonville, I highly recommend you do it here.

The staff is always very pleasant & professional. The facility is the cleanest I've ever been to (compared to BPL & Octapharma, those places are TERRIBLE) and the service is above excellent. There have been a few times I've had to wait an hour or more, however it is VERY RARE and usually on bonus days..otherwise I am in and out in under an hour for the entire process. I recommend everyone to stop by and check them out. Not only is it a great way to help people in need, but you also make some pretty good mon

They open at 8 but let people in early. Everyone was nice and the process was easy. This was my first time donating plasma so it took about 3 1/2 hours from the time I signed in til the time I left. First visit always the longest

The staff here is the best of any of the centers, they actually have chairs and let's put it like this, I didn't see one donor with flip flops or slides with no socks lol

Great place very clean and very nice people.????

I'm a new donor and while my experience was bad in the beginning they did everything to try and correct the issue It was about the wait time and how long it took to be seated. One of the keys to good customer service is to try to understand where the customer frustration is coming from and work towards turning that frustration around. Hemarus did just that they acknowledged there error and worked it out. No one is perfect and I will be back as well as invite others

This is probably the worst place to donate. I've had to ask the phlebotomist to change gloves before touching me after adjusting another persons needle. They don't check vitals completely, and will just put numbers in and lastly not only do majority of the phlebotomist speak a foreign language they will butcher your arm in attempt to get your vein. They're super slow and do everything by paper causing disorganization and displacement of your chart. Go somewhere else.

A/C needs to be fixed every hot. They have a Great and beautiful staff Minerva, nirvia,Bety,Iliana,Leo , fast and wonderful. Great place to come.

There's this one particular very nice lady by the name Hilda she work's upfront, she's very fast and does her job so perfectly, she needs a good raise, thank you for your hard work and time Hilda

As a new donor I highly recommend kevin. He did a great job ensuring that I was comfortable and thoroughly explained the donation process!! He was great to work with 10/10 highly recommended p.s all of the staff were nice.

I have been going to Hemarus for a year now and my experience with the people up front Henry, Elsa, Hilda and the other three people sorry don't know their names has been a pleasure working with. It also has been a pleasure working with Ty, Iliana, sorry again I forget the other five people names. I enjoy my time with the staff, this is the only plasma donation center I been too, I have not gone to any other center this whole year.

First time I went into this facility, I didn't eat breakfast I normally increase my fluids the day before I plan to donate. I have donate at BioLife with 0 issues. And here they want to accuse you of lying to them. How incredibly unprofessional

Im happy to leave my review today!!! The new crew here at Hemarus is excellent! They are fast, always happy to do there job, and very very organized. The crew Mini, Bety, Nirviam, Iliana, and Leo are the #1 plasma team in Jacksonville!. Its always a pleasure. The wait times here are never long. Thank you ladies!

Thank you and staff everybody. There they do their jobs. How they Post 2 and they do it correctly? I appreciate the manager mr.henry for everything ??

Great place to visit. Very friendly staff, knowledgeable and skilled at there procedure and I honestly feel safe and comfortable as I'm donating. The pay is good and there constantly improving ways for you to get bonuses so you get a little more than expected. Overall I wouldn't go to any other donor places, this place is perfect....

I love ?? this center, there are very kind and beautiful people that cares alot about you. Thanks to Mrs Betty Boop, Mrs Mimi,Ms Nina, MrsIleana, Mrs Leo.Thanks you you all i enjoy my experience every time I come keep up the good ?? work
