The staff is very friendly. They explain every part of the process to make it easier. Great customer service skills all around and they make sure that you are ok.
Often times we put the cart before the horse. Having the patience to get behind the wall means everything. The staff behind the wall are game changers. Bedside manners are professional, knowledge of their job is great and the tension breaks are extraordinary. Thank you ImmunoTek.
I had the worst experience of my life there they are definitely unprofessional I feel like I was weight shamed and pressured into giving my plasma after they humiliated me in front of multiple people the young black guy at the front desk has a very arrogant type attitude they didn't explain any of the rules or details to me they just started blurting out how much do I weigh and they think I may be too big for the table in front of everyone. It's no secret that I'm overweight but I just feel like they should
If I could I'd give it negative stars, the male supervisor that's very feminine with glasses has a poor attitude and when called out because of it and the fact he will hurt people when he sticks you he has argued with several donors, he is the reason this place is loosing donors and employees, he needs to be fired and banned from being a phlebotomist,
I've been going here for a while. I love going wherever I have the time. The staff is outstanding. Monyetta and Shy are exceptional. Love them knuckleheads. ??
Made an appt twice, first visit they were out of money so I made another appt, then they were out of supplies. About a month or so later I made another appt and I made it in. I was told they speed new donors thru and I would be there for about 2 hours. There was four people ahead of me. The girl who checked me in had cool words, but never looked me in the face, kept talking to other employees and seemed to expect the donors to know to follow her or have seat. After an hour I was called for physical exam and
Chris made my first time experience very comfortable and smooth sailing. I enjoyed his company, humbleness, and laughter!
I am heath as a horse and because of my sexual orientation, they refuse to take plasma for me to save other peoples lives What's wrong with this picture ! I am in a relationship of 30 years No matter who you are they check for your BLOOD anyway It's approved by the FDA When I was in there filling out my application There were a lot of crack heads getting to donate
I wasn't allowed to donate because my appointment didn't hit their computer even though I got an email confirmation for my appointment. Although I showed them an email confirmation I still wasn't allowed to donate.
Every time I visit to donate the staff is great! The people at the front desk are the best!! They are so helpful and full of knowledge! I actual feel like I'm welcome and you just don't feel that very much any more!
I set up an appointment to become a donor, unfortunately missed the appointment, called back to see if I could still come in and just be considered ?walk-in?; got told no an appointment has to be made. So I asked to schedule another appointment for the next day-Was then lied to and told appointments could not be made over the phone, they have to be made online (which I knew was a lie because the appointment I missed was made on the phone) The lady on the phone told me they do not take new donors on Saturday
I've been donating here for about 8 months now. Some of the staff are the most awesome people you have ever met. However others are just downright rude. The system in place is beyond broken. Minimum wait time of 3 hrs plus, and I have been where it has took 6 hrs. This has got to change or I will be changing donation centers. Not worth the time for the little pay. Step it up guys. (UPDATE) since this review, things have drastically changed. Big improvement.
Update : i havent heard back from anyone concerning my review. The experience is horrible. It is 15 minutes to close at this location and the waiting room is full and there are people waitin for beds. We have been here for over 3 hours and people are getting moved to beds ahead of us. Me and my fiance and my son all go here. The wait times lately here are up to 5 hours. They say it's because they are training people but it doesnt excuse it. They always have a waiting area full of people standing room only.
I love when Ms Monyetta is at work everything is flowing and moving along I love the way she jumps in and helps her staff really miss her the days she not there. Staff is amazing
Great Place,Great People Id give them a 10 star if I could! I been going there awhile now and I've never had a issue with anyone ?????
Alex and all the rest of the crew here are AMAZING! They all go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and a top priority. I really feel like family when I walk in. I also have to mention how clean and sterile the environment is. Alex you all are super awesome!! Keep up the great work guys!!!
I've been here for over 2 hours,no one?s told us why we've had to wait for this long, and when you do ask someone why it's taking so long, they have an unprofessional attitude. It's very obvious this place is not ran effectively, and needs new management or something. It also seems to me that if you know someone working here, you can get in and out in less than an hour but if you don't, you'll spend well over 3 hours waiting.EDIT:it has been two days and I still have not been contacted.
Chris is excellent!! All of the staff are great but he's very attentive to his donors and I love that!
Would give them a zero if I could. My husband went to donate and because he can't read. They wouldn't let him donate. They could have read it to him.
I was donating in the center on 09/08/2022 and during my return my blood pressure bottomed out and I passed out. The staff in the clinic was right on top of me, making sure I was stable and safe. I ended up having to be transported by ambulance to the local ER due to my blood pressure lowering when I would stand. I was texted by a member of the staff while I was there to check on me and I was also given a follow up call the following day to make sure I was alright. I also work in the medical field and this
Kemi attitude and personality is so amazing if you dislike needles she is the perfect person to poke you gentle n sweet thanks again for a great experience
It's always a warm welcome at the doors. Great staff and environment. Fast friendly walk-in appt. Top Priority Services!!!!!
Employees are wonderful during the screening process. The certified Phlebotomy techs are blatantly rude and extremely unprofessional!!! The treatment I received as a new donor is unimaginable! Also, they are friends with a lot of the donors. That can create a conflict of interest.
The staff was excellent. But they really need to pay the return donors better than what it has been . But I do love the facility and the staff and they pay close attention to the donors and make them feel very comfortable and relaxed
Horrible experience!!! Had to ask for toilet paper in the latrines male and female. The waiting room desk stunk of Marijuana. They had people sitting in chairs for 3 or more hours!! I left after 3 hours of waiting. Ridiculous and I'm a seasoned plasma donor by far the worse place I have been 2
My husband has been here since 6:45 am. Standing in line didn't get screened until about 9 am and people are being put ahead of him in beds that were screened after him. Immuno Tek you all need to get it together. I go to a different place and I was in and out and done and back to this place before he even got screened. Do better Immuno Tek.
I'm trying really hard to survive in Albany Georgia,,so donating plasma is extremely appreciated because I'm 52,and raising my disabled son alone, while I myself am disabled,, I'm also a black woman who's had to sue the city and the USA on account of my civil rights being violated I'm currently in another litigation for the same reason,,I'm saying this to say in Albany Georgia there will be lots more citizens fighting for their human rights,,,I've had to complain about being mistreated by your staff,, becau
The staff are awesome and very caring and professional. The facility is clean and sterile. The staff are friendly and make sure that the donors are comfortable and taken care of in a timely manner.
The staff are very friendly and caring. They are always checking on you and making sure you're as comfortable as can get.
I REALLY ENJOYED YOUR CENTER. I HAVE BEEN ATTENDING FOR A MINUTE. BUT UNFORTUNATELY MY TIME HAS EXPIRED. I MUST WALK BY FAITH AND THANK GOD FOR THIS SEASON.
Got there at 6:00 and have been sitting in the lobby for 2 hours and It's only for a seat. I been blood pressure checked and everything.. expected better
It was a very clean environment and the staff are very friendly and attentive. I been donating for awhile and thus is the best center by far
They are liars about your money. Tell you you're getting one thing and don't give you what it says.
Been here since 7am & now it's 12pm this is totally unprofessional & unacceptable I haven't been updated on what they're going to do. Only thing they saying is the system is down
Very Attractive Staff that makes it worth the time and effort ??????
Very friendly and very clean environment and they make sure ur in and out
Great place for rock stars
Chris and kevon are the best
The employees were nice and the donation was quick
It's got very good staff very friendly
Friendly professional staff...clean environment...
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
