I love how clean, fast and efficient. They are friendly. And seem to enjoy their job. Dukes is great! I do miss the rest of the staff like Johnathan. And having less employees means it's harder to get appointments scheduled.
I come to this place very often for plasma donation. As a young adult, I feel like this is the perfect time to donate plasma. Not only do you get a little extra cash, your heart is full knowing the fact that you're helping people with your donations. The process is super easy, super self explanatory but very detailed. I wanted to comment on individual staff members, but I really can't pick favorites with this place!! Everybody is so funny and uplifting, if you're having a rough day going in will make your d
I have donated plasma on and off throughout my life because it's an easy way to help others. Recently though, this Jeffersonville facility has a skeleton staff that cannot handle the amount of donors that have appointments. I spoke to the facility today and they do not know why corporate is allowing so many appointments to be taken when they only have a few employees because of a recent huge layoff of 1/2 of their staff and several people quitting a few days ago. If staff is walking out, that is concerning.
Ignorant and disrespectful, I'd give negative -4 stars if I could. Absolutely wouldn't recommend to any trans person. I was told that this establishment was inclusive, I found it to be just the opposite. I walked away after my fifth attempt (my paperwork being rejected for various reasons) and never got as close as the physical. The levels of rudeness and unprofessional attitude was astounding.
This place was great. Now they are behind and employees are run around like crazy to keep up. They fired half the staff now they can't keep. The money they give keeps getting less and less. Half the reason I'd come here was because of the staff. Obviously they don't care about their employees!
2 weeks ago, one of the phlebotomist performed my vein puncture. Not only did she bury the needle completely in my vein(no metal at all showing outside of my arm), it took almost 6 hours for the bleeding to stop, I had a large lump under my skin at the puncture site, bruising halfway down my arm and my arm stayed sore for more than a week. So, I did not want her to perform my puncture again. Today I went back to donate and a different phlebotomist who is friends with the first phlebotomist, removed the need
Donation center is absolutely great!!! People there are friendly and professional. The facilities including the bathrooms are extremely clean. Highly recommend. On the down side. If you sign up as a new donor beware. The parent company offers incentives like extra money, for instance first 4 donations. However, if the company decides to drop the incentives while you are still in the new donor stage, you will not receive all your incentives. In other words you are not grandfathered in to the new donation
been going here 2 years never left a review lol shame on me.If youre from louisville go here
I went in first time, was paid 75, went back second time, was told they messed up my donation, so the made me a new donor and only paid me 50 because they lowered the rates and didn't tell me, I won't be back as the blood bank in Louisville pays 175 for first visit
Went in to donate plasma to try to supplement a little income while I am on FMLA leave for taking care of my terminal father. Was treated rudely the second I walked in by a lady named Jana, aggressively questioned about what I ate for breakfast and told I didn't eat enough. No problem, I went and ate more and came back. Eventually she did my physical and told me my eyes were not dilating. She then went outside and brought another coworker in who said she did see my eyes dilate a little but not much (keep
The ladies (and men!) here are all wonderful, knowledgable, and friendly! The areas are all clean and comfortable. Great way to get some extra splurging monies and help people at the same time.
Nice people and quick visits, but I was always nauseous afterwards
No where in or around the building to they have signs posted stating ?no babies are allowed in the building?. However, one of the workers so rudely kicked my 5 month old and I out of the building due to such ?policy?. Keep in mind, my child was not making ANY noise, nor were we creating a distraction or drawing attention. Even though my fiance checked in, 30 minutes AFTER a second worker appeared to kick us out. Also want to mention the fact that it is 92 degrees out and it feels like 97. I have to sit in t
The staff they have are fantastic but they need more!
Wonderful care and a great environment along with great laughs from time to time!
Everyone is super nice and respectful I really like everyone
They were so nice to me . my first time there was two hours but went by fast. All techs made me feel comfortable so the experience was easy. The process was easy follow directions, pay attention and you'll be fine! . Way better than csl on any day!
My name is Aumindu Gibson and I've been coming here 2years if not more. Camille has been one of the most respectful, easy going woman workers I've dealt with in a while. She's been running this center and running it well since I've known her to be a supervisor. As a manager I believe she's limited on what she can really do. Camille deserves to be director of this Facility.
We live in a digital age. The staff pick & choose whose ID they take from peoples phone or not. They took mine off of my phone and I've sat and watched them take others. I asked to see it in writing that it's the policy not to use ID from a phone and was told they didn't have it written anywhere. People have lease & ID in their phone & Soc sec in their phone & mail and they'll allow them to donate bc plasma is needed but a black man comes with those circumstances it's a no. Don't be fooled by black staff th
Jeffersonville Indiana location has some the best phlebotomy staff around. It's a very comprehensive process on how they actually approach each and every client. They are very thorough with your safety protocols as well as overall condition of treatment to your clients. That's why I give you a 5 star rating already.
Best place on either side of the river! I've been to CSL- didn't donate...took one look at the place and walked right back out. I've been to Octopharma- donated. Extremely nice facility, but they need more staff. Very long process, even for return donations. Then there's Immunotek- this place checks every box! Close to home? ? Clean, nice facility? ? Streamlined process solo you don't waste an entire day? ? Kind, caring, professional staff? ??? Good, EASY money available before I even walked out the door? ?
The staff are phenomenal, and I always get awesome customer service every time I show up! IF I could, I'd give ya'll 100 stars!!!
The staff are always super friendly and helpful. If you go often enough they even remember your name. I never have to worry about having a less than wonderful experience when I come to this clinic
Great staff! Always have a good experience and never any problems. Maddy is awesome! Get her if possible lol but all around, great place.
I've donated plasma quite a few other places. This one is by far the cleanest the quickest, and has the kindest and most educated staff I have small veins in one arm and big veins in the other arm. People tend mess me up depending on which arm I use is depends on who sticks me. They don't have a problem with that they just do it to take care of me good place.
Jensen is an awesome stick. Erin saves the day. Can correct anyone?s wrong stick. Ask for Erin or Jensen, just from my experience. You will be satisfied.
This place is a lot cleaner and friendlier than the other centers I've been to in the past. Doots is great with a needle, and Maddy puts my nerves at ease. If you're looking to donate this is the place to go.
Went to donate here. I just changed states and was in the process of getting my new ID. They refused my bank statements which proved my address. They refused my government documents with the FSSA which proved my address. When I asked what documents counted to prove residence, they said *only utility bills or lease.* There's no utility bills or lease because I'm on my friends couch for the time being. When I explained that even the BMV *and federal goverment* (passport) accepts bank statements and documen
Very rude and thoughtless employees. I watched them be rude to a young man with Downs Syndrome. Terrible. Don't go to this place. Update: Nicole, from corporate, wrote to me and apologized to me for witnessing their terrible treatment of the young man with Downs Syndrome. Nicole asked me to call her, and when I reached "Wesley", he rudely put me on a long hold. Another unnamed man got on the line and refused to put me through to Nicole, nor to give me her direct number. They did confirm that Nicole is at
I had Maddie stick me this time and I was the least painful stick I've had so far! She's super friendly and nice! Entire staff is very professional and willing to help in any way!
I sat for 2 hours filling out paperwork and answering questions; only find out that because I did drugs in the past but now I'm clean and sober (since 2015) I can never give plasma. I think they should start drug testing every person they get plasma from. I'm pretty sure that 90% of the people giving plasma are on drugs. Just one person's opinion. It's wrong. I don't understand how lying can get you $400 a month but telling the truth will get you nothing.
Great staff, super clean and friendly, know me by name so I feel special lol. Def never going to Louisville again Edit: as staff is low it's gotten worse, I stood their asking for help and no one listened, a employee told me to wait because he couldn't help with computer but could someone else? Waited hours, some dude yelled his way into a bed, not cool, hopefully staffing goes back up!
This location is run by MEAN SPIRITED and TYRANNICAL workers and MANAGEMENT they are VERY RUDE. and CONDESCENDING and TREAT VERY UNFAIRLY and when called out for their BEHAVIOR you are DNR. CORPORATE has their HEADS stuck in the SAND and don't CARE as long as the PLASMA keeps ROLLING In a worker told a Complete LIE on me and when I called her out she got LOUD with me the whole while I was not disrespectful or loud but I was TOLD this is TYPICAL BEHAVIOR from workers at this location for a long while. PEOPLE
Was given the worst news anyone could hear. Luckily it turned out the test was incorrect according to outside test results and still have to wait to hear back from ImmunoTek. I Called before recommended time and was yelled at by Rhonda and accused of yelling and hung up. Team members in this line of work should be trained to be empathetic in certain situations. When I get a call back with final test results and apology I will change my review.
I came in to donate plasma, had some difficulties. Heather took great care of me! The staff were great! Heather was a take charge kinda gal! Exceptional employee! Thanks for what you guys do for our community! I seen you guys definitely have your hands full! You all were great and seemed to work as a team! Thanks again!
The process is quick and painless but the best part is the women who work there. They are all extremely supportive and will help ease any anxiety you might have. They have CSL beat hands down.
Hello I have been going to this place since day 1 all the staff are very professional and deserve so much more for their compassion, however my favorite is definitely Monica ??
Have been donating for a couple months now and have no bad experiences. Staff is professional and friendly. They make you feel very welcome and comfortable.
Places absolutely terrible anymore. There have been multiple weeks now where you can't get appointments because they never have any available.
Dukes and Rena hands down the best as-well as the nicest and most humble individuals I've ever met. Highly recommend coming and getting stuck by either one of them
This place is nice, so much better than the centers that I have visited in the past. The staff is very professional, kind and they get things done in a timely manner. I will be returning, and I've recommended several people to visit as well. Stacy Cain
I am a new donor on both my first and second donation both my arms were severely bruised. I was then told on my third appointment I couldn't donate for that reason. Now I am here on fourth appointment and told I have to wait to be screened to see if I can donate because my veins are still bruised. I have driven twice over here to be refused due to poor phlebotomist. Update they did let me donate and apologized for bruising both arms previously. I will continue to come and give them another chance
They are faster then csl in Louisville, they are nice and welcoming. They value your privacy and they have a better payout schedule then csl as well! It's closer to me and I'll continue going to only here.
Unless you want to be deffered permanently with no logically explanation stay away from donating. No need for leadership to reach out Nicole because they don't care there. They do not care about donors and look for ways to defer without the chance for reentry. People do mess up on test especially when 3 outside sources say opposite.
Went there staff was great. Then they said my protein was low. Had to get paper from doctor saying it was fine. They still won't let me donate again. Everywhere else has never had a problem. Started the next day at another.
Great staff from the old to the new! Nice clean building. Every time I go I'm in and out thanks to that bald head guy Mac lol!!???? just wish they get my name right one time
I've donated at this center since it's opened, over the last month, they've lost staff and you can very well tell that it's something internal that's driving all the good employees away. My machine failed, causing me to lose RBCs however they didn't tell me I couldn't donate for 2 months until I had sat outside waiting for the center to open. Lack of communication and professionalism makes me not want to go back when I am able to. Sheena and DonShea are the best ones in that building. And the only 2 good on
Was knowledgeable about procedures, and is wonderful with her interactions with donors and co-workers. Overall very pleased with my experience with it being my first time donating here.
I've been donating plasma here since april and have had good experiences with every donation! Evie and the rest of the staff are super comforting, detail oriented, and skilled! The phlebotomist are fast paced and good at problem solving!
Cleaner better overall atmosphere and friendlier by far than csl ever was when I went there.
The worst filthy dump of a place looks like used needles sure they're giving everyone aids. Staff is untrained and unprofessional. Terrible service, horrible facilities, donate at your own risk!!!
Wasn't a bad experience 2nd time lady had trouble sticking me. But nobody can explain the loyalty bonus thought I would've gotten since I donated twice in 1 week.
The staff here is great, and always very friendly and helpful. The rates could be better, but that's not this location's fault specifically
ap?point?ment noun 1. an arrangement to meet someone at a particular time and place. Obviously they are not familiar with the definition. It like the reservations bit on Seinfeld.
Amazing staff, very friendly and helpful. Great service, with making an appointment, it gets you in and out the door in a quick manner.
Vee has an amazing personality handmade the very long experience a lot better.
Greeter girl was unfriendly and unwelcoming!! Actually seemed to enjoy refusing people without proper documentations..... Actually even if you had EXACTLY what they said I needed on the phone.Just a thought but maybe move "greeter girl" somewhere else where customer service skills aren't needed. Again I had the proper documents and would not have been there if my FAMILY wasn't desperate for help. So thanks Immunotek.... I'm donating plasma at another donation center already. And an added note as to how disp
The staff is wonderful, I only noticed it this past week, but they haven't been paying what I was told. I asked about it and was told they didn't do that anymore.. Apparently nobody with Immunotek had heard of an oral agreement which is binding in Indiana. Bait and switch.
Very disappointed with COL so high that Immunotek chose to reduce the payment plan for all return donors. They obviously do not appreciate return donors. It costs more to eat a high protein and electrolyte diet plus extra gas to and from...and just after they got the appointment process fixed....donors don't want to go to downtown Louisville to donate or further.
First time going... Took awhile. After first visit it was much faster.. clean.. paid me the same day.
New & returning donors should be aware that this center is not honoring previously promised payouts. For example donors offered $100 for the first five donations in June 2021 are only receiving $55 starting today because payouts starting in July have changed. (Previous offers were specifically stated not to be time sensitive. The payouts offered for the first eight donations were said to be set as minimum payouts until eight donations were completed.)
I'm really upset we wasted our gas an time coming up there, the lady tried to say my veins was to flat! And that I need to come back another time and drink a lot of water! Just cause I told her I drink caffeine sometimes I know the process and have been drinking nothing but water since yesterday my veins are big and there's nothing wrong with them it was ridiculous won't be back
Edit* my vein is unusable by doctors now. Called to talk about it. Still my fault because they lost money. Phlebotomists have no idea what they are doing, then treat me like it's my fault.
Well I noticed that this place will try and defer new donors if and when possible they have no place to charge your phone if you needed and the wi fi is a joke
Everyone is so kind, friendly and professional. Very clean facility. All phlebotomist are very knowledgeable!!
The staff is professional and friendly. They do a great job and quick to help
Evie was so nice and so was nicka and so was Coleen and so was Dorothy and so was Maddie?s and so was Allison. They needs raises. ????????????
Clean and professional environment. Most of the staff is kind and social. My favorite is Monica in screening.
Every staff member was wonderful! It was my first time donating at this location & I will be back!
The hospitality of this establishment, goes far beyond expectations. Keep up the great work.
Fantastic donation site. The employees are very professional, you can tell they care about the donors coming in. The place is spotless! Very clean and relaxing.
Very Sweet and considerate. A pleasure and truly an all around highlight to an otherwise dreary day.
I always enjoy coming to the Jeffersonville location! The staff is professional and SO friendly, and they show genuine concern for all donors. :)
Hands down very friendly, understanding and makes sure you fully understand before proceeding anything.
Don't ever go to this place go deferred forever due to them not being able to stick people without infiltration your Vine but that is my fault I was told
Mattie was great at her job an matt was very helpful an nice
All the staff are super friendly and fun!! Awesome place!!
Workers are nice, not enough employees. Wait times are ridiculous. Definitely would recommend csl first
They are the best, the staff is amazing and I love everyone there
After waiting over an hour I was spoken to very rudely. The person completing my physical treated me like a child and wasn't wanting to listen to what I was telling her. I ended up leaving without giving plasma. I'll just go across the bridge next time.
I needed to make some emergency money and because there blood pressure cup was way to tight my blood pressure went way up and left marks on my arm
Treat as if your saving a life .not like depressed low income barely getting by.there amazing people.
Mattie is the best. Fun, friendly and overall great staff
Doots did an excellent job with my blood donation process on both visits.
I love the people here everyone is very friendly and super informative
Went to donate and they refused to allow me to donate because I don't have my physical drivers license but I have a photocopy of my drivers license I mean like seriously I need money to get my drivers license that's why I went in the first place
They are so friendly here and really make you comfortable.
Great staff, great money and over all a great experience!!!
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
