ImmunoTek Plasma Greensboro, NC

Very disappointed! Spent 2+ hours answering all the many questions, often repeating myself to another staff member. After all this I was told I could not donate, because I had uterine cancer over THIRTY years ago! I was so frustrated! I am in good, stable health and have been cancer free for over 30 years. I attempted to speak with a doctor or supervisor, but was told no, they stand on their decision. I have researched this and the only cancer that could be a concern is a history of blood cancer. I've been to this place 3 times and haven't been seen once each time they claim to have a different issue as to why something isn't working today the people have 2 people inside being served they stand around all day being lazy and don't wear name tags

Updated my review to reflect the change hours only. It's so much more difficult to come in for an appointment now that they are closing early. It's a shame. The staff are always very friendly, professional and just pleasant. It's so nice to see! You won't even think of getting poked with a needle. You're in good hands here. I can't say enough good things about this place. The staff members are fabulous, they always have a smile on their face and are so friendly. I have tried other plasma places around the triad and honestly nothing compares to immunotek. They limit appt times so that you aren't waiting hours on end. The facility is clean!!! I've updated my review as this was the only negative experience I've had at ImmunoTek; otherwise the people have been so kind and the facility is nice! I will continue to donate here. :) I was promised $100 for my first 8 donations upon signing up, only for me to realize after my last donation that they changed the new donor policy without telling anyone to only be $100 for the first 6 donations. I've been going here for about a month-Shanisa is the sweetest person that I have come across in a long time??and she always Thanks You for your donation. She is always nice and helpful- Ashley is another one that I can say is very good to me-she's gentle and she's fast. I'm in and out in under 45 mins most of the time. If it wasn't for these two, I do not think I would come back. Otherwise-it's very clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Sylvia did an outstanding job. Today was my 1st time donating. I had personally had a reaction but Sylvia talked me through it. Reassuring me that everything would be okay. I'm writing this review because despite trying for over a month I have had my time wasted again, and again, and again. My first time I was sent away was for something entirely arbitrary that the phlebotomist and management were both UNSURE if I should even be even be denied for, so I fixed that. The Doctor is only there on one day a week, usually Friday. So if you have to submit any additional paperwork for some unknown reason you will be waiting a week minimum. The only thing I don't like is they keep going down in prices they getting money for everybody's plasma but I see the price is going down it used to be they can get $100 for a certain amount of times that they come now it's three and on top of that they cut people back from getting 90 to 85 on that second visit that's not right! People don't be fooled because you can get paid for the plasma that you give it's like they're running game and as long as we let them get away with it they will wake up

Today was the worst painful experience I've ever felt. I told the ladies that something wasn't right, that the horse needle was touching something. They mainly ignored me, thinking I was going through my first experience. I held my arm and was in so much pain , not one attendant thought it may have been something wrong. The first time I went they did a check up on my tattoos and piercings correctly then they punctured my left arm and couldn't find a vein in my left arm then switched to my other arm and left a nice bruise on the first puncture site which I had to wait almost a month to be cleared to donate plus it was in fact not bigger than a 2x2. Really like this place fastest plasma center in Greensboro but I will say they have gone down on there payouts it went from 8 payments of 100 to 3 of 100 for new donors and the payout based on weight has also went down

This is the 2nd time I've wasted my time coming up here for them to tell me they can't see me because of a BRUISE 1 OF THEIR TECHS CAUSED ME! 1 of their other TECHS said he tried to call me, but he LITERALLY called me AFTER my appt time when I was already here to tell me they need a dr to clear me so I couldn't be seen. I've been donating since I was 18 and this is the best ABSOLUTE best plasma center I've ever been to . Everyone is friendly , music is awesome , in and out , very clean I RECOMMEND!!! Update : they have gone down hill tremendously ! Pay outs are dropping instead of rising which is backwards especially based off the large amounts of money they get per bottle of plasma . Very clean facility and very nice staff. They made me feel very comfortable given it was my first time donating at this center. Trevor and Candace were great. They explained the process to me and answered all of my questions. I definitely recommend this center.

Been going here for months no trouble at all. Then starting in April I couldn't donate because apparently my protein level was low from the blood they drew even though when they pricked my finger it was in the normal range. So got note from my doctor and now I can't ever donate there again all because of stupid protein like who cares about that?! I'm beyond upset.

I have donated at many Plasma centers, and I have to say ImmunoTek has been the best. They are organized, clean, safe, and the friendly and welcoming staff makes the environment of the center relaxing. To top it off the Phlobotomises there are so skilled that I have yet to have a stick that I actually felt.. There poking skills are phenomenal. I recommend ImmunoTek to anyone that donates on a regular and definitely for new donors.

Was basically deferred for getting vaccinated and not allowed to speak with a nurse or management about it, disappointed as I liked the center and it's associates.

If I could rate them a zero I would. They have at least 10 phlebotomists on a shift and it's still a circus ?? I wouldn't even take my dog here. Worst treatment ever. Unorganized, unprofessional, No sense of urgency, everyone just stands around looking at each other. I had the best experience on tues when I became a new donor except for the nurse was extra with the exam. The young girl Leigh was great stocking me tues but today was horrible I had to be adjusted 6 times before they finally got it right. That's excessive I know that it will leave a nasty bruise on my arm from it. I wouldn't advise people to go here unless you want to be left with marks and unprofessional inexperienced people. I had great experience donating plasma this morning. Leah the phlebotomist, is one of the best thus far.. you can't feel a thing. Jasmin was very cordial and I would recommend that everyone should pay a visit to Immunotek Plasma.

Jus for them to opened up and they power went out they staff is so unorganized and all that screening I did they deferred me for thirty days when I can go any other place and no one has a problem with that particular medicine and so two days of screening because they can't keep the lights on. They don't know how to deal with people that's so unprofessional I would not definite go there.

My husband went today for the first time could not donate due to gout flare up being swallowed but all he said was how nice and clean and how the nurse was apologetic over the situation he has went to other locations and the pay is better at other locations but he said this one he will stick with staff was great and facility was spotless.
