I find/found all the staff pleasant, as well as the experience in general. It's a valuable service. My only issue is the change in hours. I was donating for probably 1.5 years and saw an expansion of hours (great!), but now they've changed them again and they are less than they've ever been or at least during the time I was able to donate. 9a vs 7a for the other MS centers. Due to the shrinking of hours, it's now difficult to get an appointment, because they fill up so quickly. I never had a problem before
Over a month ago I witness a young lady who was trying to use the services with this agency, she was treated in a Snyd and demoralizing manner. Note...people are pushed between the battles and wars of daily living, and choose to use this agency as a segway for temporary means. One should not have to be put in a unlikely and tacky atmosphere by one of your employees. Anesia is workers name, and I have witness the behavior were she has made other people feel less important.
It's been a year I been donating to this facility. The staff is great. Very friendly and positive vibes every time I go. Unfortunately yesterday I must say I was disappointed, not because of staff but higher management. Yesterday our African American people celebrate our national holiday juneteenth ???????? and there was nothing in your facility to help your staff or donor in honoring this holiday, but as I was entering the building you will be acknowledging the 4th of July. Closing at 2pm. In my person
Went to donate plasma for the first time. Was treated like I was an idiot, I think they where the rudest group of people I've ever met. Hope your experience turns out better than mine
I tried to be a first-time donor in January 2023 in Mccomb Mississippi where I was denied and supposedly deferred so I just went back and was told that I still cannot donate even though my medical history has changed. They told me that I have a disease and I don't even have and I never did have! I stated to them back in January 2023 that I was told by a doctor one doctor in 2021 that I showed the beginning signs of fatty liver disease I didn't tell them that I have fatty liver disease because I do not have
While all the workers were friendly and kind, I am bothered that I went through the process only to be turned away due to my medication. While they did give a list of meds that would disqualify you, mine was nowhere on it. So I wasted almost two hours of my time there just to be told that I could not donate.
I will not lie, the needle does feel uncomfortable sometimes going in but when it is in, it really is not bad. A couple of the workers have a little attitude problem. But overall the rest of them are really very nice. They keep all of the equipment and bathroom and everything very well clean and sterilized.
The staff here are amazing. It's always a very quick and easy process. I got overheated during my donation and the women there were extremely fast in accessing the situation and taking care of me.
Not to bad however there's a certain staff member that gives the impression that she hates the donors. Very unfriendly, a little hostile, and to be honest the experience would be much better if she wasn't there.
So far I've had a good experience at Immuno Tek. All the staff are friendly and do their jobs well. The first time I went it took a couple of hours because of the medical screening and all but since then I'm usually there about an hour and for the first 6 donations u get paid $100 so basically ur making a hundred bucks an hour and ur helping to save lives because it plasma is used to make potentially life saving medicines. Also u can donate twice a week and idk about anyone else but an extra $200 a week sur
I enjoy the people the courtesy and the attention the staff gives. The only thing I have a problem with is since I've donated at so many other centers. U guys need to get an app. So people can do the kiosk question.
They are the most unprofessional group of people and they are rude and defer donors for any reason and lie about people?s heart rate being up and not proving their machines are inspected that they are really accurate
Didn't tell me how much was on my card or how much I would be getting n made me lose 50$ tht I thought was supposed to be 100 on your 4th time not coming back no mo

Wasted over an hour to be accused of using needles, I'd give 0 if I could.

The staff is friendly and professional.
Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
