Review Title: A Disappointing Plasma Donation Experience I recently visited a plasma donation center, and unfortunately, my experience was far from ideal due to inexperienced staff and faulty equipment. The process started with staff members who appeared unsure of their tasks. From taking my vital signs to setting up the donation equipment, there were visible signs of hesitation and confusion. At one point, the needle insertion was mishandled, causing unnecessary discomfort. It seemed like the staff lacke

The staff are all very nice and professional, and it's a great way to make a couple of quick bucks. That being said, they have dropped their pay rates about 5 times in the 7 months I've been going there off and on. It was $50 for the first donation of the week, and $100 for the second originally. Now it's down to $30 and $50! Kinda drastic drop. It's not really worth it now unless you're pretty desperate for cash.

I cannot say enough regarding the staff! Always so proper, polite, and welcoming! The one tech that calls herself "B", makes me feel just like family. Her mannerism needs to be commended! Everyone in the world needs to take lessons from her! She's so informative and cannot do enough for the donors! Always have a great experience donating- I try to go 2x a week whenever possible & always have positive experiences with Madesyn, Kurt, Tara, Candy, Ashley, Myah & Elisa, the whole staff is extremely friendly and welcoming The drop in pay per donation & time open has definitely made things less than ideal some days, but nonetheless the staff & overall experience is great

I have been here donating for six weeks, and I have nothing negative to say about any of the practices or the staff. They have all been so friendly, they recognize you when you donate regularly and have conversations with each person and inside jokes. It's a great atmosphere, music playing. My first donation I was very anxious but they all made me feel welcomed and answered any questions I had. This is why I keep coming back 2 times a week to donate at this facility. They are fantastic!

From the very first visit the facility is filled with welcoming a kind hearted individuals . From the moment you walk in, they welcome you . They very clean a neat rather it's the team that takes your vitals to to the ones who handle the whole process . Keeping you informed throughout the process ? highly recommend this place

The staff is nice there, but it seems like they need more training. My wife has given plasma there about 5 times and has come back with about 3 bruises on her right arm twice.

I like most of the staff members there except there is one who i do not prefer, i don't know her name because she doesn't wear a name tag. She has black hair always up in a bun a tattoo by her hair i think in the shape of a flower and she wears glasses Whenever she sticks me it is very painful unlike the other times other people have done it but other than that everything else is good

Immunotek is an amazing company that offers you a little extra cash. Staff in Queensbury is 5?? (Amazing Group all around), but over all gets 4 because of the hours reduction. Being someone that works full time, and still trying to earn extra cash, the reduction in hours, really cuts back on when I am available to donate. Would love to see the afternoon hours again.

Great staff and super friendly. Overall the atmosphere here is very accommodating and friendly. The Phlebotomy team is top notch and the rest of the staff are knowledgeable and amazing. It is an underestimate to say every single person here is amazing. I've had the most experience with Jess, Rach, and Caitlyn. All three have taken amazing care of me every time I have gone. I had a great experience donating plasma today. I've been coming for a few months now. The facility is always neat and clean. Much of the staff are very friendly, professional, and personable. For today's session i'd like to highlight Ashley who checked me in/checked my parameters, Rachel who did my stick/draw, and Alaina who disconnected me. Everyone here is great. They are professional, but very friendly and sociable. I talk to and joke with them every time I go. They keep a close eye on every donor to make sure they are ok during their donation. This is a very easy way to make extra cash while knowing that you're helping people at the same time.

I was donating twice a week, which was a decent amount of money. Even though the rate was reduced ( I guess our time isn't as valuable now). To make matters worse Immuno Tek plasma donation center has cut their hours.I and a few others I know work until 1or 2 in the afternoon, but Immuno Tek now closes at 1pm. Now we can only donate once a week.Can they at least open one day in the afternoon.

I've had nothing but good experiences here. I've donated six times now and everyone has been kind, friendly, and very good at the technical parts of everything. They have a fun environment, and they always make me feel comfortable.

I've been a donor for a few month's and I've got to say the staff is what makes donating at immunotek an enjoyable experience. Having great phelbotomists like Rachel and Caitlin make the donation process smooth and comfortable. And of course, walking in to friendly staff like Ashley for the screening procedure always starts my appointment off on a good note. I'm happy to be a part of the process!

I want your company to know that you have an outstanding employee named Caitlyn. She is warm, caring, professional and efficient. As a retired paramedic, I am always impressed when a professional can perform venipuncture with ease and practically painless. Kudos to your company for hiring such a great employee.

Had a great experience donating plasma. This was my 5th occasion and they have all gone pretty well (and relatively quickly). What made this visit probably the best was Jillian's great personality when walking in and Tiffany's needle poke. Most of the staff are friendly, attentive, and kind. Those two go above and beyond. I've been donating for a few weeks now. It's so easy, plus you get paid for doing it. It's nice to have a little ?me time? while donating plasma that will help people. The staff and facility are great and they are all starting to feel like friends.

(2* New) Their Corporate Got Greedy, not sure if it's nationwide or just location based but they Gutted the Donation Reward for everyone, Both New and Returning, if all you care about is Plasma for Life Saving Medicine, this may not affect you but is your Time and Protein management worth a huge needle and constant changes. I only did this because of the calorie burn and worthwhile reward ($150 a week double donation prior to 10/2024, 800$ first month of donations for new donars) ALL GONE WITHIN 30 DAYS E

Tuesday is their Monday, here at ImmunoTek. Meaning, it's a very busy day! The screening area was full when I arrived at 845am. I was greeted with a smile by Caitlin who asked me for my full name and sent me to the kiosk to check in. It was clear from my entrance that they were short staffed today. Jessica is so gentle. She makes every time I come an exceptional experience. I do not come here for the money. I'd come everyday for free just because of the staffing. They actually helped save me. Just by kind gestures. They go above and beyond their duties as care takers. They no me by a first name and that's an amazing feeling to walk in a bbuilding and hear your named called. If they keep lowering the price that they pay you to donate here I know myself at least probably five or six other people that are going to stop coming here because it's not gonna be worth it to me. It looks like it's a silent and supposed to be out of business within the next month or two.

The Women at this location were great! I'm terrible with names but they were all great! Apparently I have some deep veins, even though that was the case they were all super helpful working as a team to make sure I was comfortable and still able to donate! I'm not sure if I'll donate again due to my veins not flowing good & being so deep! but if I do this is where I'll be going! It WAS good money till they lower the pay. New donor used to get $100 8x! but know it's $75 for the first 3x. I've been here for a while and know every week now I'm loosing $30. Other then that's it's not bad

I have donated 3 times now and intend to keep coming back. The staff is friendly and my needle-sticks have been almost flawless. After initial setup I have been paid immediately each time via debit card, and I had no trouble spending with my card online. As a cyclist I also very much appreciate the bike rack outside. Thanks!

The place takes employees without phlebotomist certification. As I was told, they learn on the job. At the risk of your veins. More than once I have been butchered by inexperienced workers. In addition, they take people out of order of arrival, and most importantly, their pay schedule changed recently. I lost out when $100 turned into $75, and $85 went down to $65. They are receiving more plasma and paying out less.

Everyone is kind and professional like Madesyn P will go all in to make your visit pleasant. Do not like the reduction in payment i think is unfortunate and thats why they don't get 5 stars.

Great facility overall. Clean, sterile equipment and they have an amazing staff. Hannah and Gillian up front always greet me with a smile and they answer all of my questions in a way I can understand. They have a great nursing staff as well who will do your medical exam. The needle is the intimidating part for me, but their Phlebotomists really know what they are doing and have always made each donation as smooth as possible and make me feel safe. I had an unusual reaction while donating once. Honestly, I don't think words can describe just how much the staff actually care about you. All of the staff are super attentive. They even monitored me while I used the restroom afterwards, to make sure I was okay. Lol :) Then later on I ended up having anxiety over my reaction. I called them twice with questions and they were super polite and did their best to make me feel better. The staff is amazing!

Staff is friendly and the facility is clean. This was my third donation. I think it would be helpful if there were snacks and drinks available for donors pre or post donation. I've heard from several people that other centers have those readily available for folks to help prevent them from feeling sick the rest of the day. I'd have said that in the email survey I was sent, but there was no section for comments.

When you walk into any business the person or people that greet you should be kind , courteous, considerate and most of all professional Ashley fits all of these qualities , when you go to donate all of the phlebotomist are good but a shout out to Caitlin and Tara you guys rock , if someone asked me if they where to donate plasma , absolutely without a doubt refer them to Immunotek.

I went twice and that's all I can handle. Both experiences were absolutely terrible. The staff seems to not have a clue what they're doing. Everybody seems to be winging it and in training. I understand the facility is new but you would think these people would be professionally trained before dealing with donors. Some phlebotomists seem completely lost. They bicker about each other right in front of the donors. It's just a very amateur environment

I will never go back to this business. I was publicly humiliated and yelled at by one of the Supervisors. I have never been treated so poorly. Immunotek in Queensbury, NY. No Customer Service skills. I am a hardworking, upstanding, god fearing member of my community and I was appalled at my experience.

I have been interested in donating plasma for years and was so happy when a center finally opened in our area! I have been going in regularly now since July and have only good things to say about this location. The building is kept very clean and sterile. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with any needs or questions. I look forward to continually donating at this facility!

My bother called me a few months ago and ask me to give him a ride to donate plasma... I was like " donate plasma ? "... he said yeah you should donate too while your there... needless to say it's a great place and all the people that work there that I have had the pleasure of being with were very kind and curtiuos...
