Had a 12:45 appointment today to donate blood and waited for an hour and a half. I watched multiple donors leave due to the wait time. I also had to leave myself as I have to get my sister from school at 3pm. The Red Cross lost out on a lot of donations today solely due to the wait time. There were at least three employees working but for some reason only one person was donating at a time. Definitely will not be donating at this location again and can almost never make it to drives so the Red Cross likely j
Had an appointment scheduled today. Showed up and facility was closed. Called the number and was informed that it was canceled. I did not receive a notification, contrary to what I was told. Another person also was there with an appointment. He said that this was the second time this happened to him. I can get an email notification confirming my appointment and reminding me to complete the Rapid Pass, but they couldn't send an email that it was closed. I won't bother with this place again. Had platelet donation scheduled for 9 am. Got a message on blood donor app at 10 PM night before saying I had to reschedule for 7 AM. I arrived at center to find doors open yet no one inside. Waited in the lobby for an hour before someone arrived half hour later they inform me that everyone called off today. I drove over an hour to get to the center. I will not be rescheduling with this center. Very unprofessional and rude.
Very slow tonight. My appointment was for 5:15, waited 45 minutes before I was called. Didn't get finished until 6:55.
The sign is not very noticeable but the facility is good.
Friendly, efficient personnel. They make the donation process quick and easy.

Plasma donors can get disqualified for a list of different reasons, which may result in a temporary or a permanent deferral. Common reasons people get a temporary disqualification may include being dehydrated, taking certain medications, getting a tattoo within the last 4 months, or being pregnant in the last 6 months.
Donating plasma can get busy with donors and long waiting times. To donate plasma faster, choose a plasma center that allows you to book an appointment online and take your health screening questionnaire remotely from home. Additionally, call your local plasma center and ask for the least busy days and times of the week.
Most phlebotomists recommend that you take a day off from working out or lifting weights on the same day as your plasma donation. Instead, take the day to rest, eat well, and drink plenty of water after your donation.
Plasma donors are legally capped at two donations per week or 7-day period, with at least 48 hours in between each donation.
Before your plasma donation, it's recommended that you drink plenty of water (4-6 eight-ounce glasses), and eat a meal with high protein and iron content. Avoid drinking alcohol and smoking on the same day as your donation.
