Reviews Summary

Most reviews praise friendly, professional staff and efficient processes, with many highlighting positive donation experiences. However, several negative reviews cite rude behavior, poor customer service, and organizational issues like long waits, appointment mismanagement, and technical problems with equipment. A few donors expressed frustration over unclear COVID policies or failed donation attempts due to staff errors. While many appreciate the caring atmosphere, recurring complaints suggest inconsistent service quality and need for better training or system improvements.

Wonderful experience at the Manatee Ave location across from Manatee Hospital. Fun, and professional staff. Clean, well organized and highly efficient process. Anitrus did my intake and blood draw and WOW! She is amazing! Kept me laughing the entire time. My son donated at the same time and he was a bit nervous but she was great in calming him. Will be going back in 8 weeks.??

The team at this center is fantastic. They always make me feel welcome and that my time and platelet donation is important and appreciate. Mark and Emilia are so professional and caring. If all the people I dealt with professionally were as great as this team life would be much better. I look forward to my visits and am glad to support one blood because of how well I am treated.

The lady totally botched my first Platelet experience. She failed to insert the needle deep enough to enter the vein, and immediately stopped drawing blood and made no effort to reinsert or correct her mistake (she actually made an attempt at blaming me for her mistake. very unprofessional) She knew it was her fault, too. She became very quiet and would mutter and I had to ask her to repeat herself. I was very confused because this was the first time donating Platelets, so I didn't know if I could try agai

Donated blood on the bus (manatee and 26th Jeremiah?s) recently. The process was slow to get started. Staff needs a to value donors time. Once the draw started it was pretty quick. The $20 gift card didn't work and the coupon for the tiny little ice cream sample to Jeremiah?s wasn't worth the wait in line. I used to donate at the Red Cross and it was in and out in 20 minutes.

My experience here started with me standing at the entrance of the building, for approximately 15 minutes, while having 5 different ?employees? acknowledge that I was there and not even attempt to aid me in any way, shape, or form. I saw multiple people just standing around while I waited for my temperature to be checked. This is absolutely pathetic customer service for someone who is here to donate blood. Clearly whoever is training people has utterly failed everyone in this clinic. The fact I had time to

I donated blood for the very first time today over at Bealls corporate center today through the Big Red Bus. My phlebotomy was performed by Thomas. I was told that I was a good candidate to do a double red cell donation. Thomas explained everything to me in detail and made me feel very at ease. I did do a double red cell donation and felt so good about doing it. It did not hurt. Thomas is very good at what he does and I will certainly be donating again. The whole team was very professional and made you f

Mark has been my phlebotomist the past two times I've donated platelets. He and everyone else there is super nice and made me feel comfortable while donating. Can't wait to donate again!!

Always greeted professional friendly staff. Not a long wait. Get in, donate my platelets and receive my free gift gift card and I'm on my way. They have drinks and snacks and it's the only place I go to donate

I had a 9am appointment. Colton greeted me right away. I did have to wait a while before being called back. Mark knew that being cold would effect the machines ability to read my iron levels and took extra time to ensure I could donate and make sure everything worked out. Nice clean center!

I had an appointment time of 0700am made online and they had a line of 4 people outside waiting til after 705am. Upon entering, Cecil super nice friendly professional and quick to attend to all patients. Jessica at the registration desk however was the POLAR OPPOSITE didn't even greet me say good morning and had a very wet, congested, cough. If youre feeling crummy or dont like your job as she clearly showed, STAY HOME or live under a rock! make room for hardworking undividuals who actually take pride in

The utmost care and professionalism will be your experience here. My wife and I give every 56 days and still have antibodies against Covid-19 a year after recovering from it. It makes you feel great to give the gift of life and be shown appreciation for your good deed. We highly recommend you go and give of your time and your much needed blood to save a life!

Awesome personality. Very kind and freindly. Excellent at sticking with a needle. Caleb is dynamic

Kristi is rude and miserable worst experience ever! Especially for my first time donating blood! Never thought I'd be treated like this. Caring and kindness is needed for this job not nasty rude behavior. If she was having a bad day I would understand. But she's not she's just rude!!! Never get her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I'm also calling to let the office know!!

Very frustrated. Drove over 25 minutes to donate, only to be told I can't because I'm a health care provider who may have been exposed to Covid. PS everyone's potentially been exposed. If this had been on the website with a screening questionnaire, I wouldn't have wasted almost an hour of my day off!! Please fix the website with appropriate information.

I donated on Mobile Bus M0063 November 2023 in West Bradenton. Shannon and Thomas were wonderful. Hopefully I get them again next time!

There is a recurring problem with the question & answer software on the ipads provided prior to blood donation. Donated blood today and had to answer questions with attendant after three tries using two different ipads. Problem: after answering about half the questions, the device loops back to the beginning of questions. This same problem occurred when I donated in January and November of 2020. Two other donators had same issue with me in January. Extremely frustrating and a large waste of time.

Just got back home from here, They are really nice people working here, They made me feel right at home. This was my first time donating blood and they walked me right though the process. Very nice people working here.

These guys are awesome, very professional. They make it fun to donate.

My experience was with the ONE BLOOD BUS. On two occasions I had an appointment to give blood one at Bi Lots and today at WaWa. On both occasions No bus and no notice that it was canceled. Inthefuture I'll stick with suncoast

Find another place to donate. A supervisor showed up unmasked and unannounced in the middle of my screening and the phlebotomist left in the middle of the screening to socialize.

I have been here since 7:30 AM for 7:30 AM appointment and they are taking people with 8:00 and 8:30 appointments ahead of me. I have been ignored since I walked in.

Always a pleasure to donate and hang out with the awesome staff

Great people doing great work and always so kind.

Always a great experience.

a positive place to be to help other people out

Everyone at this location are wonderful!

Very professional and painless!

Nice staff, low turnover

The blood donation process is efficiently run, though at times it feels like a bit more front desk support could help things run even smoother. Kay is consistently friendly, professional, and a pleasure to interact with.
